Experiencia positiva: It was ok. We took our pitty to get spayed. They first allowed the felines to go in first all at once might i add, which i thought was iffy an kinda upsetting, but I understood their logic and then allowed dogs of all ages in groups of 2 knowing it was cold outside. A person went in disregarding others in line, an was allowed to go in before us, while we waited outside an checked in before us. Come time to pick up everyone went directly inside for their pets (cats & dogs), was explained about meds and other things and we left. On a good note, thanks for the services, which is affordable & convenient!

Experiencia negativa: If I could do 0 stars I would!!!!!!! I had this app set for almost a month for my dog to be spayed! This was under the assistance program ok, so I take my dog this am, we were early and on time! My dog recently started biting her butt we have tried a few at home things before we can get her into a vet appointment! The tech, BETH comes out and asks me a few questions about my dogs situation as I told her it’s just bitting! So she takes her in the back and came back out with my dog and proceeds to tell me how my dog cannot be seen today because she keeps doing this( proceeds to demonstrate scratching on her stomach!) she then says that because of that they are worried she will scratch the incision open!!!! Also that there was A FLEA seen that’s probably why! We tried to tell her the dog gets nervous and does that sometimes but she didn’t want to hear it and AGIAN says and demonstrates with attitude why my dog cannot be treated! She never offered anything or wanted to hear anything from us regarding that issue! The only thing offered was to Treat THE FLEA! Now, a few things came across my mind; I’ve had other animals fixed and they do provide a cone or guidelines regarding at home treatment AFTER surgery to prevent your animals from BITTING OR ITCHING the incisions secondly the ENTIRE time waiting to be seen in that office my dog DID NOT scratch her stomach not ONE TIME nor did she or has she since we’ve left!!!! I am not upset about the turn away Per se BUT it is the way it was done, sarcastically and with demonstratuon, which was completely uncalled for! A simple “I’m sorry we cannot see her because we are worried she will scratch the incision open” would have been FINE! This place also upon filling out the application to be spayed, OFFER CALMING treatment but because we were NOT HEARD or cared enough to hear what we had to say nothing was resolved! Or tried! I have lost a whole days of work for nothing! To be treated and judged is disheartening! Truly I feel we were turned away without any other options because I applied through the assistance program and Ms BETH has no people skills what so ever! I would not recommend this place again! Very very very sad that they are they to HELP but treat the ones that need that help in such a manor!

Experiencia fantástica: They have a great T-N-R program! I’ve been feeding some community cats, and I filled out their online from for TNR. They reached out to me when they had openings, and I did a Saturday orientation and trap rental. Over the week, I was able to catch 4 of the cats and bring them in for surgery. It went so smoothly, and they kept me updated on how the cats were doing. They are all now returned back into their community. I had a great experience with this at PCC.

She is somebody now and not helpful to people that are desperate and trying to get rid of cats that are killing my hummingbirds and butterflies. Her response for help was absolutely non professional. Good Luck. My 2nd disappointing experience with her over years. Get out of Nashville and go back home. Update, I reached out now the cats are gone. A man threatened to get rid of them, guess he did. And not in a humane way.

Experiencia negativa: I had this appointment set for a whole month only to get told since I was 3 minutes late past the window for the cats that my cat wouldn’t be seen. The girl was not friendly about it either, as soon as I walked in I knew she was not going to help me by the look on her face. I was only late because my dog realized I was packing up her sister cat and just knew we were all going somewhere. Of course right when I got ready to leave she bolts out the door and I had to chase her across the street and behind my neighbors house. I didn’t over sleep or any excuse like that, but all she said was your time frame has past to register so if we have enough room after we sign all the dogs in we can see if we have room for your cat. They had room when I scheduled the appointment because all appointments have to be scheduled in advance and when I asked what does me being late have to due with the clinic all of a sudden not having room. She treated me like I was stupidly asking a dumb question and she proceeded to say well that’s the procedure!! What procedure?? because I had this appointment for a month so why now all of a sudden you don’t have room but took the cat that was the car next to me I believe just out of spite and then comes to my door to say they are full!! THATS A BUNCH OF BS!! I pleaded with her to please take her because my daughter is on the spectrum with autism and she really really wanted this to happen and that she was going to be devastated but NOPE all because I was a few minutes late!! Ohh and forgot about the deposit because your not getting that back at all under any circumstances!! I’ve always brought my animals here, but since you have moved locations the experience has not been pleasant and I hate that because your doing wonders for the pet community but maybe you should also care about the human emotions and have some empathy for us when we need a little help!!

Experiencia negativa: I suppose there’s a first time for everything. I’ve never ever had a bad experience with this nonprofit organization, which whom I am super grateful for. Today was a fast talking, ugly phone experience from one of the workers. We set out from Clarksville Tennessee to Harding Place and ran into a horrible car accident. Explaining it to her was falling on deaf ears. She was super passive aggressive In her tone as she continue to talk over me. I told her that I understood Pet communities appointment rules, and she proceeded to tell me them again, as if I didn’t know. I just wanted to see if they could accommodate my pet tomorrow or sometime next week. She continues to tell me in her passiveness, the appointment rules and telling me that they needed a 72 hour cancellation in order to get my $15 office visit fee returned which I didn’t care about. I guess next time I’ll use my fortunetelling skills so I don’t know in 72 hours there will be a wreck. I guess everyone has that one coworker they can’t stand, who is loud and absurd!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t recommend this place enough! I rescued a kitten found under my car and it was going to be over $500 at my regular vet JUST to get her vaccinated. The prices they offered here for vaccinations AND the spay and neuter are exactly what we needed as our income isn’t the highest. Every time I’ve gone in the staff is very friendly and they really want to make this process simple and quick. I really wish they did regular or sick or injured appointments but honestly the work they do at the prices they offer is enough! I’m so thankful we have a place like this in our community!!

I picked him up later that day they gave me really good checkout, instructions and anything to watch out for while he was recovering. I had a question and I texted the number they gave me and I received a quick response and they are very informative and Helps calm my nerves and my cat is doing great. I would definitely recommend coming here very affordable price as well.

All of my questions were answered and I was even given information about financial assistance available to me that made their surgeries completely free. The group checkout that includes a viewing of their post-op care video was extremely efficient. They gave thorough instructions to each pet owner and made sure all questions were answered before handing their pets back. I'm very grateful for the staff at the Pet Community Center and how easy they made this entire process.

Experiencia negativa: A feral cat was brought here by a coworker and they took it in. It was clearly pregnant and we told pet community center that. They said it wouldn’t be a problem and they can spay pregnant cats, leaving out that they terminate pregnancies of feral cats. We had many people in line to take a kitten, myself included. We would’ve provided a good spot for the mother to give birth and then taken the kittens. Instead, this shelter aborted the kittens without letting us know at all. Shame on you. Do not bring any pregnant community animals here. Their community cat page does not advertise that they will terminate pregnancies of cats. Edit next day: the feral cat passed away overnight

Experiencia negativa: I have never been so mistreated by pet community in my life, so sad after all the years we have been customers there & trusted you with our fur babies, Andrea does not deserve to work there the way she laughed at the fact that I lost money & time from work today to be only 8 minutes late but Andrea nor the Dr would give my dogs their vaccines & claimed they closed at 3 but website says 4:30. You all should not be allowed to receive grants for poor or less fortunate people then turn them away for being 8 minutes late. I showed Andrea what was so funny and she said that I had to forfeit my deposit paid online to book both appts & it's sad when I clearly called explaining that I was 8 minutes away & there was a wreck that caused me to be late yet they wouldn't wait 8 minutes! Terribly sad, no federal or state funding should be sent to this place to turn around to treat members of this community so poorly then actually laugh about it on the phone! Sorry Pet Community that do care about their members of the community including the fur ones!

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t know how to put into words how amazing PCC is, but I’ll give it a shot…My partner and I moved into a home surrounded by cat colonies. We’ve slowly been TNRing these kitties and getting them vet care as needed. PCC has gone above and beyond to provide quality care to each animal we’ve brought to them. The staff is compassionate and patient. And let me tell you, that is difficult to maintain in a vet care (especially an affordable vet care) environment. I have experience in the field and burnout/compassion fatigue are real. The level in which PCC’s team operates should be studied. They are efficient, professional and genuinely care about each animal they handle. (I’ve even seen them give out some hard, necessary truths to owners not doing right by their animals ). PCC is an invaluable resource to this community. I wish them all of the luck and funding and support they can get. Keep it up. You have a forever supporter in me.

Experiencia fantástica: In 2020 my husband and I cared for a cat community in our neighborhood. Katie and Beth were very caring and sincere about the cats. Both offered very helpful advice to bring the babies in for spay and neuter. It is so easy to take your pets in to stop future unwanted pets. Their services went above and beyond to care for all of them. Special thanks to the vets and giving advice to unfortunately put one of them down. Also please microchip your cats we have a new one show up lost occasionally. God bless everyone of you. Fast forward to 2025, Pet Community Center continues to amaze us on the volume of spay/nueters they perform. The prices are always discounted for anyone retired or on Government assistance. They are not a full service vet and some procedures they cannot offer so keep that in mind. For vaccines/ spay/ nueter and a smile go see them. Stephanie, Katie and Beth always greet you with open arms to answer any community cat questions . Brandon, Will, Sara. Shelly. Corina and the vet techs, and vet doctors plus others not mentioned are the best you can find! be kind to them and or volunteer! They always have laundry which I try to help them when I can! I pray that PCC can continue to be a vital part of our community!

Experiencia negativa: this place is not a "community center" anymore since they reopened. what happened to the warm welcoming staff that didn't make you feel stupid and guilty for not being able to afford i quote that vet lady "proper vet care". I been bringing all my dogs in for 2 and a half yr for shots and stuff. the girl that was always there made ufeel like family and cared about all the people and dogs that walked though the door. no matter how much money you had . i seen them girls hug the nastiest looking dogs id never touch.they used to talk to you about stuff even if they couldn't help. don't even think about asking a question now. they don't have time for that. only say you need to go to the "proper vet ". times are rough for everybody. I get it. but this place dont seem to and just ain't the same. can't afford their prices anymore anyhow. wont be coming back.

Experiencia negativa: I had a bizarre and generally horrible experience with this place. We were fostering a small chihuahua mix through MACC who had a very bad and life threatening case of heart worms. It was awful how bad his condition had become. We were literally fighting for his life as his foster parents. After weeks of waiting, we finally got him an appointment at Pet community center. Showed up for the appointment and was called into the waiting room. What happened next was truly shocking… The vet came in and simply said “we won’t be giving this dog care”. Excuse me? So why did I spend hours driving/waiting for this appointment? Extremely bizarre and inappropriate. This dog was dying. You’re not even going to try saving this dog? They have the means to do so and simply chose not to. Disgraceful. I left by saying “sorry pooch, the government will not help you.” The story ends happy…. We found a privately owned veterinarian who took in this dog and successfully treated the heart worms. We spent weeks trying on this care plan. Countless hours rehabbing him and bringing him to appointmente. He faught hard and never gave up. Extremely inspirational. He is doing great! Shame on you, pet community center. You choose on a whim which dogs you will treat and which dogs you are happy to let die. Karma will get you. Don’t rest peacefully.

They say they are here to help our animals stay healthy with affordable health care and they ARE! Totally recommend them! Their website is super easy to make appointments.

Even though there is a high volume of "patients " that they serve, they still impressed me as still being compassionate towards each and every person and pet. I observed this while sitting in the waiting area as each animal was brought out to their waiting owner. All details of after neutering care were carefully explained in addition to the short video we all watched in the waiting room lobby. Their services seemed far more valuable than what they charged. They were super helpful and it didn't feel like they were trying to tack on expenses or anything, just genuinely wanted to help. Got our girl her yearly check up, vaccines, heartworm check, and they wrote us a prescription for her monthly tick and heartworm meds! We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back! So much more affordable than anything else around and has the same or better quality of care!

Bailey recently went through heartworm treatment, and thanks to the dedicated team, he is now heartworm-free and can live a long, healthy life. The entire staff was compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. They took the time to explain every step of the treatment and made sure I was comfortable and informed. I never felt rushed, and it was clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. The level of communication was excellent, with regular updates and follow-ups to ensure Bailey was on the right path to recovery. The clinic's facilities are clean and welcoming, which made each visit less stressful for both Bailey and me. I'm grateful to have found a place where I know Bailey is in the best hands. I highly recommend Pet Community Center to anyone looking for a veterinary clinic that truly cares about their pets. Thank you for taking such good care of Bailey!

Experiencia negativa: Poor communication. Feral kittens here will probably expire because I cannot take care of them and cat haters with mean dogs want to take them out. I can't be upset and burdened anymore with this organization not helping. Phone tag and text messages aren't solving the issue. Requested to talk to a person to no avail.

Everything was extremely clean and professional. •Their Prices are Lowest in Nashville for all available services and vaccinations!! •Pets are kept separately, even in the sizable waiting lobby. No risk of a Flea hopping a ride home on your Pet! In 2023 they did Move from their prior East Nashville location to South Nashville. Very near the Metro Animal Control area, out on Harding.

Experiencia negativa: Multiple members of the staff lied about accepting CareCredit prior to my cat getting spayed today and lied again on the morning of her surgery as well, reiterating that they accepted it. They do not. When I brought this up to an employee in attempts to resolve the issue I was faced with complete disregard and a snarky attitude from her as well as the same worker who had lied to my face this morning. I called her out on her lies and requested to speak with the director. She only served to back her employee in their false claims of coverage, was barely be able to get a coherent word out when confronted, and lied to us repeatedly as well about the care that my kitten received. My kitten was finally brought out to me, almost entirely sedated still, and I was told she was "too aggressive" with the staff up until that point to have the e-collar put on by them. She is only is a 5lb kitten with not a single care in the world, especially when she is still sedated. Every single cat pickup prior to us were all told the same thing about their animals as well, which I pointed out. The director then changed her tune and told me cats were not able to be transported in collars as it was "stressful" to them while her other employee then took my kitten to the back to put it on (in less than a minute) for transport. Essentially, they'll charge you for an e-collar and the application of it, but then will force you to do it at home on the deceitful premise that your sweet animal is "aggressive". My kitten is now flinching anytime I try to put a hand near her so God only knows what they did to my poor baby. The director as well as her staff are entirely incompetent and should be fired for their excessively dishonest behaviour. Do not go here if you love your pets.

Stephanie and Katie are kind, responded immediately, and assisted us in every step of safely trapping and bringing in a stray neighborhood cat ("community cat") for neutering and vaccinations.

In fact they brought her back so quickly, I wondered if they actually gave her the vaccines. The only disappointment is that I was not allowed to go back with my pup. The reason I was given for this is that they are a high volume clinic so in order to keep things operating efficiently they ask pet owners to stay in the lobby. Makes sense. However, I would like to meet the veterinarian if I take my dog back for neutering.

Experiencia negativa: I am OUTRAGED. Upon picking my cat up after his neuter, I could immediately smell how terribly his carrier reeked of urine. When I got him home and let him out, he was covered head to toe in his own urine. He had clearly been left to sit in it for most of the time he was there. They had put his cone on and then put him in his crate— they secured something around my cats NECK before trapping him inside a fabric carrier that could’ve easily snagged on something and choked him. I called and all I was told was that my cat, who has not once had any issue at any other vet, got “spicy” and so instead of putting him in the usual cage with a litter box, they crated him before he woke up. They crated my cat and left him without anywhere to urinate other than on himself before he woke up from anesthesia because these people didn’t want to try and put him in it after he woke up. I don’t care how “spicy” a cat gets, that is unacceptable. I understand how great the prices and convience of this place are when your fur baby needs something and you can’t afford the places that’ll break your bank, but please please please never take your animal here. This kind of behavior is insane.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been raising a cat for almost four and a half years now and I have been finding out ways how to take care of this cat I got a little attached to her so I wanted to find a good veterinarian Hospital for pets and I went to more than two places to find a Veterinarian Hospital for animals and then I heard about the pet Community Center and they did a total of three surgeries on my cat which I love very much and she loves me a lot and the price for the treatment wasn't very bad it did not cost me a arm and a leg I got all of her Medical Treatments and they were all a success now I don't need to worry as much I recommend for anyone that I know of or anyone in general to look at the pet Community Center for there to very good successful work and they love animals as much as I do they will take good care of your pets and give them the best treatment that they can ever receive and your animal will love you very much I give a very heavy recommendation for the pet Community Center.

Although they do tend to be stay pretty booked up on appointments for months at a time on certain programs, their affordable "spay and neuter program" is a true blessing for many people who live in Davidson County who can't afford to do so, otherwise. Overpopulation is a real issue in Nashville and around the world. Nashville has many pet lovers. Unfortunately their are also a lot of neglectful pet owners. Thank you to Pet Community Center for making a difference in many dogs and cats lives. Please spay and neuter you’re pets.

We had an abandoned cat whose owner moved and left him,Oscar,get neutered,tested, and vaccinated - got a quick appointment and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable - would recommend this Center often! I'm a retired veterinarian and they even sent him home with e collar and 4 days of pain meds which I wasn't expecting!

Experiencia negativa: They are cheap for a reason. Weighed my 8 week old kitten at 4 lbs and told me she was 4 months! Next visit said she weighed 4.5 lbs and was 4.5 months old. Mind you these visits were 3 months apart!!! Flea treatment does not work and staff seems very irritated that you even walked in. Don't recommend. Spend the extra $ and get your furry friends treated correctly. Will never use again

Experiencia positiva: I love this place ! So helpful and as a senior citizen / limited income ...they give an excellent discount which helps me and my pets SO much!!! I got my rescue dog neutered here , and I get my cats vaccinated here. My senior chihuahuas got their heartworm tests here. They also loaned out cat traps for feral cats in my complex . Wonderful place. Every community needs a place like this.

Experiencia fantástica: It took a minute to get an appointment but well worth the wait. Caring and knowledgeable staff before during and after the procedure. I trapped 11cats that were left behind from a family that got evicted they had already had one litter that resulted in about 25 26 kittens thanks to critter cavalry rescue they took the kittens into foster homes which made it possible for me to trap all the males and females. So I took them at 11 adult cats everybody at the facility was wonderful and all of the 11 are doing great it would not have been possible if the pet Community didn't exist. Once again thank you to everyone at pet Community y'all are doing an amazing thing ❤️
