Experiencia positiva: An iffy 4 stars….. Been going here for years , even when they had the smaller building down the street. These doctors have saved and taken care of all my animals. But unfortunately lately, there have been an influx of new employees that have some attitudes and do not match the previous Seiler standards. I saw a new Dr there recently and wasn’t able to finish my sentence. I was bulldozed repeatedly to be up saled. I didn’t feel heard. It felt more as a sales pitch than concern for the animal. Al’s, I’ve called a few times recently with different questions and it seems now that the people answering the phones are less knowledgeable as before on basic things. I called 3 separate times, was placed on hold and they never came back to the phone after being left for over 15 minutes. I was also told misinformation… I called about my routine 3 month flea medicine refill and was told it only covers one month. Also while like at my file- they apparently didn’t see the massive weight difference in my pets for the dosage. The medicine is indeed for 3 months and for larger breeds. It’s concerning. I’m worried that the quality and care of Seiler is going down due to this and I now feel a bit weary about the services I am receiving while also paying top dollar.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been bringing my dog to Seiler for several years, and the entire staff and medical team have always been wonderful. Recently we saw Dr. Highley for GI upset that had persisted for a couple of weeks, and I really appreciated the care we received. He took the time to listen and thoroughly work through what might be going on. He was incredibly kind and gentle with my dog, even sitting on the floor with us to help keep him comfortable. I’m very grateful for the thoughtful and compassionate care, and my dog is now doing much better!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently rescued a kitten and took him in for his regular vaccines, only to discover he had a severe gum and dental infection, along with a possible superimposed upper respiratory infection. The Humane Society told us it was urgent and that he needed to be seen right away. Seiler Animal Hospital was able to fit Baker in the same day. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I could tell they truly cared about their patients. The front desk, the vet techs, and Dr. Highley all provided wonderful service. We were seen quickly and sent home with antibiotics, and Baker is already doing so much better—he has so much more energy now. We’re grateful for the care he received and happy to have found a team we’re excited to continue with. (pricing was extremely reasonable as well)

In fact, when she brought him back out front to me, she was cradling him like a baby. He won’t even let me carry him like that. This tells you the level of comfort. Many thanks and a job well done.

Experiencia fantástica: We used to go to another local vet but recently every time we went it was new Doctors...the main Dr retired and it all changed after that. We are here 6 months and when my elderly Doodle began breathing heavily we decided to give Seiler Animal Hospital a try. We are so very glad we did. We met with Dr. Thieme and he couldn't have been more thorough. He didn't rush us, he listened to every concern, every bit of history... my girl is 12+ years old so she has quite a few minor ailments and he took his time, explained everything. I am so very happy we came here, this is our new Vet!!! For a long time now we felt we hadn't had adequate care for our dogs when in Florida and now all of that has changed. He was honest, explained everything in detail, did not make us feel rushed, was informative...knowledgable.. extremely happy we met him and we now have a place we can come to. I couldn't speak more highly of this place. We are animal lovers and I cherish having a relationship with a Vet that knows our animals, that monitors them through the different stages and hiccups of their life..this is that type of place. Thank you Dr Thieme.

Experiencia fantástica: I'd like to take this opportunity to SINCERELY thank Dr. Silva at Seiler Animal Hospital and Dr. David Spranklin, the orthopedic surgeon on my dog, an 8yo Maltese. My dog tore her ACL just by being her normal happy self in late November 2025. We went to see Dr. Silva and her diagnosis was precise and confident. Dr. Silva recommended TPLO surgery for her. She patiently explained to me my dog's current condition with her ACL injury, the anatomy of her knee and how the TPLO procedure can benefit her future mobility and functions. Due to the price tag of this TPLO surgery, I went and obtained 2 more consultations. Some other vets recommended a less expensive surgery (but more temporary) and when I brought these ideas to Dr. Silva as alternatives to TPLO, Dr. Silva patiently and professionally explained to me why TPLO's long term benefits outweigh the other procedures. I honestly wanted to save $1500 by doing the procedure elsewhere but THANK GOODNESS that I decided to just bite the bullet and just get this TPLO procedure done at Seiler. This is actually the best decision I've made for my beloved dog. Afterall, my dog has been seeing the vets at Seiler since when she was just months old. More importantly is that she experienced complications (infections) 2 weeks after the surgery - and it was my fault. The fact that Seiler is just across the street from where we live and that they open 7 days a week are a HUGE PLUS and relief!! The surgery went SUPER well. My dog was alert the very next day. She was moving, though slowly, the very next day after the surgery. I could see her progressing day by day, little by little. I recorded her daily activities log with pictures and videos, what she ate and how much, what time she did #1 and #2, what time did I administered to her what medicine, what time I exercise her injured leg, all were documented. I thought I was the best parent any dog could ask for but it was because of me not putting the cone over her head enough time that has given my dog opportunities to lick her surgical wound which later on developed into an infection. I kept Dr. Silva informed of my dog's progress and Dr. Silva always respond. Now we are 7 weeks going on 8 weeks after the surgery, my dog is no longer limping. (She's actually stopped limping around week 3 but it was the infection that has brought her back to pain and prolonged the limping.) She is now running and walking like normal though my biggest responsibility is still to keep her from being her normal happy and active self- by keeping her calm, with no jumping up and down and no vigorous running. My dog is not just my family, she's a part of me, a big part of my life .... we've canceled all thanksgiving, Christmas and new year travel plans just to be able to stay home and give her the best environment and attention for optimal recovery!! She is there and we could not have done it if it wasn't for Dr. Silva and her team. They knew that I'm a very anal pet owner, so they even took a video of my dog receiving Laser Therapy for me just so that I know what was going on after the handoff. I highly recommend Seiler. Thanks everyone at Seiler for being there for me and my dog for all of these last 8 years. I'm forever grateful. If you don't want vets giving you run-around BS, try Dr. Silva. She is straight-forward, precise and concise with her diagnosis and delivery of options. Very clear communication and responsive correspondences. She's just one of thousands animal they saw over the years, but they did not treat my dog just like a number, or another admission. I'm very grateful for the care and love that they provide for my dog! SEILER worths A MILLION STARS!!

Experiencia negativa: We've had a very hard time at this practice and it's become difficult to believe they have the animals best interest at heart. Came in investigating librella, a shot to treat arthritus in dogs --after reviewing blookdwoork we ultimately decided NOT to pursue the Librella. THe following day, the doctor called to see how our dog Dexterr was doing with the librella? HE never had the shot? Fast FWD a month later, we needed a refull of his medication, left messages that wre never answered, finally front desk sent the RX link--it was the wrong link. Several days later they sent the correct one--but it required a doctor to sign off on it but due to shipping time, they just wrote me a written RX which they left at the front--when I called to inquire where to fill it--they said they had no idea. "She heard Sams Club MIGHT be able to help", though I didn't have a sams club card. I called 4 other vet offices and ALL FOUR OF THEM were shocked that Seiler didn't call in the RX for us. If you want a vet who cares about your animal actually getting needed medication so much so that they ensure you know exactly where to pick it up--don't waste your time here--these guys simply do NOT care.

Experiencia fantástica: The entire staff was awesome even before I had my actual visit because they answered all my questions. Then when I arrived they were very prompt and when I met the assistant she was very nice and concern as I was which also meant so much to me. The doctor was superb as she listened and gave me great advice and I was totally appreciated. Lastly, as I was checking out the ladies are all so very helpful and scheduled accordingly my next visit. I'm even going to try out their grooming facility. I also have referred my sister with her fury babies since my experiencing was the best I have ever had. Thank you to everyone at the Seiler Animal Hospital.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible. Do not take your animal here for an emergency. Your dog will sit in a room for two hours with no Dr telling you nothing With no care in the world about this sickness of your animal and how it’s an emergency. I finally got up and left after two hours of no contact. I do not recommend this veterinarian office. Terrible service terrible absolutely not.

Experiencia negativa: If you want a vet that cares about your fur babies and has a little bit of business since I would recommend staying away from this place. My Dog Jackson appears to be scratching and I think he has fleece so naturally I took today off of work so I could go to the vet and pick up some plea medicine. The vet refused to give Jackson flea medicine without an appointment. Little do they know that I just acquired a new fluffy Frenchie puppy who needs to get spayed and we all know about their medical needs. I will be finding a new vet and I’m glad they showed me their true colors today.

Experiencia positiva: I don't like that they take your pet away from.you and examine them in a room without you. Both times I was told my cat was very anxious and it was hard to examine her. I've gone to vets in NY where I used to live and they would examine her with me present. I think they are competent but I don't like the protocol. Going elsewhere.

When we lost our cat, they were so kind and empathetic during such a difficult loss and when we welcomed a new puppy - they were celebrating with us! I love how you can tell when someone really loves cats. I’ll be bringing my boy in for a checkup when I come back from a trip, and I’m sure any provider there would be a great fit. I just wanted to thank Dr. Thieme and all the supporting staff who helped me with my cat Eleanora last week. You can tell they truly care for the animals and the pricing was also fair. I brought her in for a non- urgent respiratory issue and I’m happy to bring her and my other cat back for their regular checkups and any needs. Thank you for the time you took to care for my baby and to help me understand what was happening with her.

Experiencia fantástica: As a vet tech and pre-vet student, I am very hands on in my pets health, and struggle to entrust my babies care to others. Our Pearl has had some recent aging changes, and I knew I wanted a full exam and dental - that didn’t include my own byst. I knew without question that I could trust any dogtor at Seiler with my girl! The front desk was extremely kind and friendly. Paperwork was printed and organized as soon as I arrived for a speedy but properly detailed check in. The requirements (bloodwork, exam, EKG) for pre-surgical procedures are 10/10. And not only do they require them, I promise your veterinarian is actually reviewing them, and adjusting for your pets needs and most importantly, safety! The technicians are the most loving and caring, as if it was their own pet. After Pearls dental, I wasn’t told what I wanted to hear just because “I wanted to hear it”, or for sake of just agreeing with “an involved owner”….. I was given honest information, and everything was done solely in Pearls best interest. We have been so incredibly happy with the life style changes we’ve made for Pearl based on Dr. Morales evaluation, & am so thankful for we made the right choice trusting her knowledge and care. As a concerned owner, I can promise you that this team is not only 100% invested in your pets health, but equally ensuring your babies are being treated with the highest level of care and love.

Very kind people who love animals. The way they spoke to our furbaby and about them speaks volumes about the care and dedication they have for your pets!!! Very grateful for them and the staff for squeezing in our appointment at such short notice to make sure our little kitty was going to be ok and set up for success! We can sleep easier now thanks to their care and quick response time.

Experiencia fantástica: Good afternoon to everyone and I have really needed to do an updated review because my last one was in November 2022. In light of that I’d just like to reiterate about the fantastic professional care my dog receives every time we go to have her treated at SAH. Had it been 2022 or just this morning their bedside manner is superb, informative, and to the detail . My girl Trudie had her senior wellness check ( always nerve wracking to wait to hear ). Dr Charles Highley entered the exam room and went over every single test with me and u really very much appreciate his detail. Back in November 2022 he was not done with vet school yet so Dr Maureen Thieme did Trudie’s exam and nothing different... down to the smallest degree And detail I was concerned about my girls heart being that she is senior dog now (9) And dog momma is always worried about her going under anesthesia as she did last time. ( unmmm that’ll never change) Later in the afternoon I get a call from Dr Charles saying “ I knew you were worried about the EKG so it came back early . Trudie will be just fine. “. I was folding wash I let it drop on the floor and leaned in the doorsill after hanging up I got emotional.. “ I’m so relieved to hear that “. .... that’s CARING AND COMPASSION IN BIG LETTERS ! Not only for the animal but for the loved ones who have great concern and trepidation.... I would like to also give well deserved commendations to the front desk staff and every single veterinary technician who demonstrates caring and compassion to all mommy and daddy fur parents. They are also high grade professionals in their field . When they speak to me? Oh wow .... I feel as if I’ve been speaking to a vet in training ..... they’re extremely knowledgeable and precise. I come from Boca Raton it’s very difficult to schedule my girl because of the trip and distance . The people at that desk are, bar none, wonderful at their jobs . It’s worth every mile .....every trip on I95 to get the best care where I take my animal . Thank you to EVERYONE at Seiler Animal Hospital. You’re a 10 10 10 (30). on a scale of five stars . Experiencia fantástica: I recently moved here and was about to book an appointment elsewhere for my cat (because I didn’t know where to go) when I began reading reviews on the other place. Someone was a patient originally here but because of her schedule she went somewhere else and did not like the experience at all so she explained she would be coming back here and never going to another Vet Hospital after that comparative experience. I quickly stopped what I was doing, and made my appointment here. That woman was so correct. From making the appointment to the follow up phone call, the care, concern and compassion is something the likes I’ve never seen before just the kindness friendliness and compassion of literally everyone makes a huge difference, I think. Plus the best part is that their prices are reasonable. Seriously. Dr. Thieme could not have been nicer or done anything differently. I had complete trust in his expertise and experience. We talked through a care plan together for my cat, I was not made to feel that I had no choice. It was a comforting experience. I could go on and on because I am that happy but let’s just say my other fur balls at home will have a new place to go to as well. And if it weren’t for the word of mouth from that woman’s review on that other place, I probably never would have ended up here. But I’m so glad I did! UPDATE: Despite all best expert efforts, and I mean best, Baby was just ready to leave us and we went back one last time with him. There are no words that I can use to adequately describe how kind, gentle, caring and professional everyone was before, during and after. And yesterday, I received a card of condolence signed by everyone there, including the veterinarian. I am so touched by their kindness and compassion.

Experiencia negativa: The "ladies" at the front desk are all terrible, the vet techs aren't much better, Dr.Charles Highley sucks the most he was more concerned about my hat, and whether or not I was a member of the golf club on my hat and what kind of wallet i had etc (My Dad's hat and club)Highley =unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: This was truly a wonderful experience for my first visit with my cat Oliver. The receptionist Nadia was so sweet & helpful taking my information. The waiting area was lovely and a lovely young gentleman who was the doctor’s assistant came & escorted me to a nice treatment room where Oliver & I could wait. I met the vet, Dr Warner who was absolutely wonderful. Oliver was taken off to be examined & when the doc & he returned, she was so helpful & explained everything clearly regarding my cat & his health. She never seemed rushed & actually spent time answering my questions. I am so impressed with this facility overall. I received both a follow up letter & Dr Warner reached out by phone call to see how Oliver was doing.

Dr. Maureen has been the vet for all my dogs and I can not praise her enough about her professionalism and compassion to my dogs. I do not know what they did to my dog Nikko but he is always happy when I bring him to their office for appointments or boarding. I highly recommend the clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the first time bringing my girl Velcro to Seiler Animal Hosp. I’ve had been fostering her for quite some time and just recently failed and adopted her. So finding a vet was daunting at best. Everyone I spoke to while walking Velcro all had various opinions on which vet I should see. I chose Seiler and Velcro had her first appointment a few days ago. You know how when you go into a situation that is of importance to you and you don’t know what to expect, good or bad? Well, this was not only good, but it was exceptionally good. The staff in the front of the facility could not have been more accommodating or nicer that always is a great indication of what to expect. I did not choose a vet as I had not seen any of them and so I was assigned Dr. Werner, and Velcro and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Seiler and Dr. Werner. Updating my first review with Seiler Animal Hosp. Everyone from the front desk to the techs to all of the veterinarians are top-notch and I really don’t believe you can get any better. They care not just about your animal but for you as well. I cannot see myself going anywhere else. i’ve pretty much had appointments with most of the vets on staff, and that is one of the great things about Seiler. Because there are so many vets to help you can schedule with the next available Vet, bottom line is you never really have to wait long for an appointment and they do take walk-ins. Special shout outs to Dr. Highley, Dr. Silva and Dr. Werner as I have seen them the most, these folks truly love their jobs, and you can certainly tell. And special thanks and shout out to Sandy and Makayla (sp) at the front desk.

Experiencia fantástica: You can see the love of all staff have for your fur baby. They took very good care of my chihuahua/jack Russel. The wait time is not long at all. The facility is clean. I needed my dog to be neutered and they gave me their price and another hospital that was cheaper. How many places will do that for you? Excellent place to take the one you hold dear. I will all my services from them. It’s worth every penny.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm not sure where to begin with this animal hospital other than it's been the biggest blessing for us since moving to South Florida. We have 2 cats, and 1 of our cats got very sick last year. We were bringing him to another vet that suggested we put him down. When we came to Seiler, they immediately put us at ease and worked diligently to get his sickness under control (thank you Dr. Morales). Now, less than a year later our other cat had to be rushed in for an emergency and their team has again taken nothing but the best care of our other fur baby. They're transparent, kind, and exactly the type of Doctors that everyone wants to trust to fight for their pets. Endless thank you's to Dr. Silva and her team for a successful surgery on our cat yesterday and for treating us with such care. They truly have saved both of our cats lives in less than a year. Experiencia fantástica: Update: I've been taking my cattle dog to Seiler for three years now. My impression is that they don't skimp. They "have it together." They appear to adequately staff their rather large practice. There's always enough staff to properly attend to the animals entrusted to their care. The front office staff is kind, professional, and busy. The kennel staff and vet techs are wonderful, and my dog adores them! The doctors consistently take time to answer questions in a thoughtful way. Even though they are busy, they are attentive to each client/patient visit. I've been very satisfied with Seiler, and I believe I'm giving my dog the best care available. Thank you, Seiler Animal Hospital! It impresses me that a veterinary practice with an excellent reputation is contributing to a charity in such a substantial way. I just took Donny back there yesterday for his annual vaccinations. Experiencia negativa: UPDATE BELOW!!!! EXTREMELY UNHAPPY NOW!!!!! This is my new vet and I'll recommend them to anyone and everyone. Since I've gotten my pup a few months ago I've seen 2 other vets before coming across Seiler, I didn't care for the other 2 for several reasons but Seiler I can say that I wish I found them sooner. Everyone is soo kind and friendly, you can tell they are all animal lovers and they don't try to push unnecessary tests or medications, or what if scenarios. They focus on the animal, not the money side to it which you don't see normally. They're prices are affordable and they definitely take their time with you and answer any questions you may have , I didn't feel rushed, and I was very happy with our first visit. If you want a vet office that cares go to Seiler!!!!! Update!!!!! Unfortunately the excitement of this place ended, I made an appt to get my dog a rabies shot. And I was told by Destiny that in order for him to get his shot they require him to receive all vaccines due, a fecal, blood work, full exam by doctor etc. What??? I've NEVER had a vet office deny me of getting my dog a rabies shot because they require all this stuff. Hey seiler went elsewhere without any issue! It's a shame because I've spent alot of money on several of my animals treatments. Not anymore.

Very loving to our babies Buster amd Khloe and they are fantastic with communication and follow up. I highly recommend them to anyone with babies needing care.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctors and techs were great and very kind when I brought my dog in for an emergency visit when he got a deep laceration on his leg. My usual vet couldn’t take him last minute as it was Saturday and they were booked so they recommended Seiler. They were great in handling my dog as he is not the easiest dog and he is a big dog. My Dog ended up needing surgery and they got me in as soon as possible or I would have ended up going to the emergency pet hospital and they most likely would have charged triple. The whole ordeal was honestly very stressful for both my dog and myself but everyone at Seiler Animal hospital was great and very helpful they made the situation a lot easier and my dog is recovering nicely.

We really appreciate her help and dedication to my dog. Also, I have to mention, the two girls in the front desk, they did not hesitate to speed up the process to let us in immediately. Experiencia negativa: I took my cat here because I was worried he had anemia. I told the vets he was eating litter and had lost three pounds in a short time frame. I told them he is also FIV positive and that his behavior had changed. Something must be wrong, but what? I was leaning toward anemia, but wanted a "professional" opinion. So, I asked that they check his gums to see if they looked pale and, if so, I would get the blood test to confirm. The vet supposedly checked and then literally shrugged and said, "they look fine" when I asked how they looked. These are the professionals, right? They didn't see anything wrong, so I ended up spending $90 just to get my cats ears cleaned. A month later, he still wasn't doing well so I decided to take him to another vet. They examined him and immediately told me he needs to get bloodwork done. It was confirmed that he was anemic. There was absolutely no diligence and expertise from the vets at seiler. I can't even fully blame the last vet I saw, because this negligence occurred before with an entirely different vet at this clinic, so, I blame myself for continuing to bring my pets here. All I can say now is, don't make the same mistake. First, listen to your gut, because these vets aren't always invested in the wellbeing of your pets as we may assume. And of course, I'd advise that you take your pets to a different vet clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: We needed a Bahamas Health Certificate within 24 hours of entering the country for our puppy. Seiler Animal Hospital is open 7 days per week which was perfect, since we didn’t arrive in Ft Lauderdale until Saturday night and were heading to the islands on Sunday afternoon. The staff and vet were all friendly and fantastic to work with. We will definitely use them again!

Had some trouble this last boarding where I feel they didn’t handle it well and didn’t even apologize to me about their mistake. I got married and was trusting them to take care of my girl and was left disappointed this most recent boarding.
