Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my cavalier puppy here for 6 months now and am so impressed. It does come at a higher price point than some vets but you get what you pay for and more. Dr Gorby performed my puppies laprascopic spay and she was acting like her normal crazy self the next day with no pain which was such a relief. She also gets so much love from the techs every time she is there and after having a dog that was so terrified of the vet that has really been a treat. They are extremely responsive and always transparent.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I have been bringing my cat, Peeper, here since she was just a kitten (she is 11 years old now). Peeper and I have a very close bond and she means the world to me, so having a trustworthy clinic is everything. From routine visits to health issues, they have been so gentle and kind to Peeper, and beyond incredible with me. The front desk staff is always on top of it. Anytime I have called with concerns, my questions have been immediately directed to the providers and relayed to me so quickly. They are also always helpful with rescheduling appointments if needed. The vet assistants are efficient and welcoming. The vet techs have seen me cry multiple times pre-surgery, and have been so supportive and comforting, always taking the time to walk me through everything step by step. I have had a few doctors for different things and they have all taken such good care of my girl. Dr. Wildman took out her blind eye when it was severely infected and at risk of rupturing, a life-saving procedure that ultimately went smoothly. Dr. Stafford recently performed some dental surgery on her, which also went smoothly, and she even went above and beyond in finding out that Peeper had nearly impacted anal glands and proceeded to take care of those as well. Dr. Gastier has helped her out with her recurring ear infections and helped me get her on the right medication for her vet anxiety. All in all, I highly recommend this place and am very grateful for everyone there and all the work that they do.

You can tell everyone truly cares about all the animals (including my cranky old lady). Dr Joanna called immediately with test results and a plan of action. Our little April will be back to herself very soon. I called in later to finalize payment the front desk staff were also so delightful. The whole building was quiet, peaceful, and clean. I knew April was in good hands with all the most experienced staff. Thankfully her fix is a medication but it was comforting to know if it was something serious they could help right then and there.

I have many years' of experience going to emergency care facilities which, while always helpful, require near a full day of waiting (not to be seen but to go through all the diagnostics). UA Vet Hospital is very close to where I live and my dog has been seen there before so I took a chance to see if they might take a quick look and hopefully assure me nothing seemed critical. They took us right away. They were so kind and loving. It came me great great comfort. I'll never forget their warm care.

Experiencia negativa: Vet tech Christine was so aggressive with our dogs when trying to administer shots that she cause one of our dogs veins to “explode” (her word). She was hostile with us and impatient with the dogs. I would not trust her with my dogs again and will unfortunately not be taking them to this place anymore. People that are impatient and unkind, or take their bad day out on animals have no business being around them.

Experiencia fantástica: Our little family recently went through a very frightening experience when our kitten Calcifer suddenly developed a dangerously high fever of unknown origin. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Wildman and the entire team treated both Calcifer and us with such genuine care and compassion. We truly thought we were going to lose our sweet little guy, as his white blood cell count was practically nonexistent. He was rapidly deteriorating, and ended up requiring a few overnight stays. Dr. AJ Wildman, along with staff members Lisa, Sophia, and the overnight on-call staff, went above and beyond in monitoring him closely during his stay, keeping us informed, and making sure he was comfortable and receiving the best care possible. Dr. Gorby was the first veterinarian to treat Calcifer when we first rescued him, and he suggested to the team some invaluable possibilities that really helped the situation for our little guy, especially given our very tight budget and low household income. Their calm professionalism and kindness helped ease our worries more than they probably know. We’re deeply grateful to this entire clinic for their skill, attentiveness, and heart. It’s clear they truly care about their patients and their people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust completely. Our sweet, little constantly-purring guy is finally home, happy, and healthy, and that was only possible because of the team at the UA Veterinary Hospital.

Caring, smart, patient, compassionate, professional and every other adjective that is phenomenal. Their treatment worked and it prevented us from a very big surgical procedure. They worked with me and Roxy and my craziness and it all worked! Not everyone is as lucky as we were in our outcome, but it is directly due to their care and understanding of what was happening to Roxy and when to call,” uncle.” Even if we didn’t have that extra lucky strike, Roxy was in the only hands I will ever trust my fur babies with. I feel like we won the lottery. They have been with me in other situations, not always with this outcome. But, they were everything I said they are above, and more. They aren’t #1 for no reason. They are so compassionate and kind and they always treat my cats with love and patience. There even was an instance where my cat got ill under my sitter's watch and the doctor spent several hours on the phone with me long distance to make sure she had the best care possible. I'm always happy with our visits...Hannah was my Veterinary assistant today and she was amazing!! So sweet with my sweet cat Eleanor and just a really positive energy. Very efficient as well. As always Dr. Giatis made me feel right at home, and left me confident my cat is getting the best care. She's an angel! I'm so thankful to have a veterinary office that is sonknowledgeable, compassionate and trustworthy.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital since 2021 (I think), and I always leave feeling like I was listened to, treated with respect, and with a plan that I know and trust will help my sweet girl feel better. Our primary veterinarian is Dr. Giatis, and she's remarkable. She helped Mabel feel safe and heal after I rescued her, and she (Mabel) caught every minor infection going around. Dr. Giatis also diagnosed a mast cell tumor that was very tricky. Mabel's also been treated by Drs. Wildman and Corns, both knowledgeable and kind, talk to you like a human being during urgent care visits (my dog is clumsy, and I'm a helicopter mom). Having the option to call your usual veterinary clinic in the morning and potentially get in that day, in a place your reactive dog feels comfortable, is fantastic. The talented Dr. Adam Parson performed Mabel's MCT surgery, and it went beautifully. Her recovery was terrific, and his follow-up was equally helpful. Today, I finally met the lovely Dr. Joanna Parsons (whom my holistic veterinarian has always raved about), and she lived up to the hype when I thought Mabel had fractured a tooth. The phenomenal staff is detail-oriented, professional, and gentle with my sweet girl — overall, exceptional veterinary care at a very well-run practice.

They take good care of our fur kids and are always very nice and explain everything that's going on. We plan to be customers for a long time!!! Our vet tech today was absolutely super. Our dog, Henry, was a little uncertain about leaving the room with her so she got down on the floor and talked to him before she picked him up. It appeared to relax him and he was very good for her. The caring attitude and attention to detail.

Dr Adam is such a genuine person who clearly cares about animals. In the later years of my cat Casper's life he helped make her life more comfortable. She had kidney failure at the end of her life and they helped me make the best decisions for her. Fast forward a few years and now we have 2 rescue dogs who both have some kind of allergy. The whole team there (at both offices) has done such a great job taking care of their issues. They never make you feel rushed or unwelcome. Always a friendly and helpful voice on the phone. Experiencia fantástica: I was concerned about my 13 year old dog, they got me an appointment as soon as the same morning I called, worked with me about all her info since she was a new patient. When we arrived, she has to be carried in because she couldn’t walk or stand, they got me straight into a room and even offered a bed and blanket for her to lay on. Dr. Wildman was wonderful with her and answered all my questions and concerns. We will be following up in a week with Dr. Wildman again, I’m hopeful she can help my baby feel better again.

She requires a very special routine that we had to problem solve over 1.5 years. We now have her solved and we went a whole year without requiring an extra vet visit. Stacy was awesome and so nice, and Dr. Schmidts was very knowledgeable and thorough but still fun and kind and down to earth. They made a great duo and made the whole experience great for me and for our dog Winnie. The office was so nice and clean and easy to get to. Didn’t have to sit and wait at all to get into a room. Was super easy to schedule and even adjust the appointment time last minute (you can text the office rather than call and they text you right back!). The cost was very similar with our last vet office that we switched from, but the overall experience is SO much better with this office and staff. They were also very cool about the cost of stuff, sending quotes for procedures like dental cleaning and helping find ways to break the cost up so it’s not all at once. I helps prevent any big cost surprises. Very happy to have switched to this office, wish I would have done it sooner! Thank you!

Most recently, when I was feeling anxious about my dog being put under anesthesia for a dental cleaning and annual exam, Taylor kindly sent me an adorable photo of him while I waited. Dr. Gastier called me immediately after the procedure to reassure me he was doing great and patiently answered all my questions. I truly cannot recommend UAVH enough. Experiencia fantástica: We love UAVH. Dr. Hereda has been so great to work with. My husband and I are child free so our two senior dogs are our babies. Both dogs have had some serious issues come up in the short time we’ve been with UAVH and Dr. Hereda has just been tremendous in getting to the bottom of what’s going on and answering all of our questions. I can be an anxious dog mom so it was important to me to find a vet who I felt I could trust to be really candid, and I have multiple examples of Dr. Hereda doing just that with me. UAVH is definitely pricier than other veterinarians, but I think it’s well worth it to know our dogs are getting the absolute best possible care.

My dog is very nervous and will only let one tech cut her nails and they accommodate and take time to make sure my dog is comfortable every single time! We love it here!

I like sticking with the same group of doctors so I was pleased and Mickey seems to be healing well with little trauma other than having to wear the hood of shame.

Experiencia fantástica: I've never written a review before for anything, but I had such a great experience here I feel have to. I just got back home after bringing in my 6yo Beagle/Yorkie-mix for an urgent care visit (scheduled same day). I cannot say enough about how kind, welcoming and professional everyone was, from the receptionist, to the techs, to the vet - everyone made the whole experience amazing. My pup has been getting progressively sick for the last 5 days, and the team here made me feel so at peace and confident in the treatment plan we have in place. They made me feel like no questions were stupid, and answered everything in a way that made it very digestible. The facility itself is beautiful, clean and very comfortable for both humans and pets. To top it off, the cost of the urgent care visit and medication prescribed was so reasonable, for a second I thought I misheard them while checking out. I've already told all of my loved-ones in town to switch their primary vet care to here. Seriously, it was that good. Thank you so much UA Vet Hospital for helping my little guy!

My one cat gets very scared at the vet and it makes me nervous to bring her anywhere, but she's always treated with the same care and kindness as my outgoing/chill cat. The office space is beautiful, my cats feel much calmer with the big windows. We trust the staff completely with the care of our fur babies! We love it here and recommend to everyone who asks!

After trying other pet care options, I know that this is the one I want to stick with and recommend to other pet owners.
