Experiencia fantástica: Love this clinic Dr Reddy is the best vet on the planet I have been coming here for many years and their service is always phenomenal and affordable. It’s worth my drive every time even if I have to wait in the waiting room a while sometimes if I don’t have an appointment. His staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly and even when its super busy they always handle there clients with patience and explain things thoroughly.

Experiencia negativa: The prices are reasonable, but they’ll definitely test your patience. We had a scheduled appointment and waited for over 40 minutes. When we asked to use the restroom, they let a walk-in pass us. I had a hunch they’d do this, so I declined the restroom, but the front desk lady insisted. I don’t appreciate being inconvenienced, especially since I traveled over an hour to get here. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if they don’t honor it?

Experiencia positiva: Staff and service was good but we had to wait 1 hour past our appointment time. Our worst complaint was that after spending over 3 hundred dollars they would not give us the prescription so we could buy the medication elsewhere. We had to buy it through there website and spent $80 more than we would have on Chewey.com. So I don't think that I saved any money by going there.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience trying to get basic information from this clinic. I called to ask whether the doctor had experience treating tripod cats and could see mine if needed. I was asked to call back multiple times, and when I finally spoke with the receptionist, she was dismissive and condescending. Rather than answering a reasonable question, I was told “we don’t do that” and that I needed to see a specialist, without any medical context. I was not seeking advice just confirmation of the clinic’s capabilities before booking an appointment. The lack of professionalism and unwillingness to communicate respectfully is why I’m making a review to spread awareness to other tripod owners.

Experiencia negativa: I am requesting to be contacted directly by the manager and, most importantly, the owner of this business. I have verifiable evidence (calls and communications) regarding how certain non-medical staff members treat customers. To be clear, the doctors have been professional, but the behavior of some administrative staff is unacceptable. On multiple occasions: • Our calls were hung up on • We were denied the opportunity to speak with a manager • When another person called specifically asking for a manager, they were placed on hold and then disconnected • We were given contradictory information, creating unnecessary confusion during a very sensitive situation All of this occurred after payment had already been accepted, which makes the situation even more concerning. Special mention to an employee named Lory / Loly (spelling uncertain): My personal experience with her was extremely negative in terms of customer service. In my opinion: • Empathy: very low • Courtesy: poor • Communication: unclear and confusing Additionally, I was incorrectly told that I was not allowed to record a phone call in which I am a participant, when in Texas this is legal. Providing incorrect legal information only escalated the situation unnecessarily. Manager / Owner: If you are genuinely interested in addressing and improving these practices, please provide an email contact. I am willing to share the relevant information and evidence directly and privately. Situations involving medication and health should never be handled this way.

Experiencia negativa: I have been bringing my pets here for years. I saw the changes in staffing and the quality of care. Well, the quality went down, staffing went down, and the prices went up! Now he has a new location in Kingwood. I have begun looking for another doctor because his staff is very unprofessional and no one cares. You're being charged alacart prices for nearly everything! If you bring in two pets, you will be charged two Office visits for the same visit. Testing is forced on you! Affordable prices are going out the window. The instructions were printed with barely any ink and you are supposed to be able to read it. The staff is mostly incompetent people parroting what they have been told without understanding what they are saying! Crazy!

Experiencia fantástica: They saved my dog‘s life. He had Heartworms and his skin was red, I found him on the side of the road and I fell in love. Once again, dogs prove that they are too good for humans. Some jerk abandoned my boy, but he’s mine now and he’s gonna stay with me forever. The prices here are completely reasonable, but this place is busy. If you have the time to wait, they do walk-ins, otherwise make an appointment This place is not an emergency vet, and although they do their best to help in some circumstances, I would recommend taking them to an emergency vet if it’s life-threatening. These people really do care, but they put up with a lot of rude people, of course, when your pet is hurting, you’re stressed out too. Affordable pet clinic is now almost an hour away from my house, yet I still drive here every time my dog needs to be seen The compassion and love they have for animals is unmatched These people do truly care about your pets. SCAM NAME BTW; I GET MY OTHER CATS DONE FOR CHEAPER @PETSET AND THIERS WOULD DISSOLVE WITHIN 2 WEEKS!!! Experiencia negativa: If I could give it 0 stars I would. Brought my outside cat in for a rabies shot to protect her. I warned them multiple times it would not be smart to take her out of the trap but they insisted, the vet assistant attempted to pick her up with a bear hug freaked her out and she scratched the vet. I was also lightly bitten trying to get her back in the kennel. Now my cat is on the way to be euthanized for rabies testing because I can't afford the 800-1000 dollar quarantine at a veterinarian office. She was a sweet cat never hurt anyone when she wasn't being scared to death. Now she will be dead thanks to affordable pet clinic. This place is incompetence on another level Never again will I even consider this an option. I tried to save a little money and lost one of my pets. I brought another cat to VCA and they knew better. Never took the cat out. The extra money would've been worth it.. RIP Possum

Experiencia negativa: This has truly been the worst vet I’ve ever been to in every way. My experience has been infuriating. The lady answering the phone is argumentative, incompetent, and lazy. The techs are nice but not knowledgeable enough to make up for Dr. Sudha Madhuri Yeddu’s poor bedside manner and lack of attention to detail. See below if you want more info and warnings. I will never return here and you would be better off finding a place that actually cares about your pet. 1. 4 hour wait as a walk in 2. Not a low cost clinic. That’s just the name. Only the office fee is lower than average. All testing and supplies seem to be quite average. And considering the lack of care, it is overpriced. 3. Do not come here if your cat has diabetes. They do not provide support. My vet refused to talk to me on the phone and instead look relayed messages through vet techs. I literally heard her talking to the vet to relay messages to me. So instead of answering my simple question the vet was trying to get me to come in for a full metabolic panel despite appetite not being the issue and having her bloodwork done days ago. Seems to just be trying to get money out of me. 4. They did not provide any information beyond “give insulin twice a day". No mention of what to do with dosing if the cat dislikes the food and doesn’t want to eat or skips a meal. 5. Didn’t ask if my cat had eaten the day I brought her in to better assess her current blood glucose level. 6. Did not recommend getting a glucometer and I had to ask an about it specifically. When I did ask about it the vet basically just said "sure you can get one, let us know what her BG is in two weeks". Update: 7. Called to get a thyroid prescription refilled as it will run out before I can come in. I called and requested the refill online and was told I’d receive a call shortly after getting approval from the doctor. I received no call back. I call the next day and was told that NO NOTE about the request could be found. I was told the doctor was out and I’d have to call back next business day. The lady on the phone was very argumentative and resistant to sending her a message of any sort. I called back again, again there was no note of my request, and I was finally told the doctor would not approve the refill because she may want to increase the prescription. I asked the lady on the phone to explain I can’t come in until the weekend and how the cat needs meds to get her through the week. The lady on the phone became irritable and argumentative and refused to talk to the doctor again for me. My cat will now have to miss multiple doses of medication because of the incompetence of the front desk staff.

Fluids medicine and the next day we called to ask a question and she was so helpful. I can't express my gratitude enough u saved our pups!!! Thank you again we will be returning for full shots. Experiencia negativa: Regrettably I can no longer recommend Affordable Pet Clinic after having such a great experience for over 16 years here, if customers will receive unkind disrespectful treatment from the front desk like I have received from the lady today on September 22, 2025 first thing at opening. Rolling your eyes and smirking when all I wanted to do was leave my phone number while I sat right in front of your facility keeping my 17 year old girl comfortable until it was our turn, is no reason in any capacity for the attitude you have given me. You made a already fragile situation so uncomfortable with your lack of decent professional rapport. It is shocking your are employed at this facility with people who work so hard and take pride in helping our pets. Clearly this is where you are severely lacking. I commend your colleague for stepping in at the moment when I asked you why you had the attitude and you rolled your eyes and smirked, and she executed the rest of the conversation civilly. Respectfully and unfortunately someone like this could cost this facility a lot of business and it’s an unfortunate disservice entirely. After this experience I can no longer see myself giving this facility my business or comfortably and assuringly leaving my pets in their hands and care. It is shameful and disgraceful.

Experiencia fantástica: Recommended by Emancipet when one of my cats was very sick. I did a walk in so I expected to be there for a good while. That's to be expected when they have a full day of books and still accept walk ins which im so grateful for. Staff was very nice. In total I was there 3 hours, walking in and walking out. But I saw people with appointments going quicker. Highly recommend and very very affordable. They stop taking walk ins at 4pm. I saw a review that blamed them because of that, thats not on them thats on the owner. I know if this would've happened after hours or the weekend I would've had to go to an emergency vet an pay a lot more.

Experiencia fantástica: First time here, I must say Arturo the assistant was very informative and answered all my questions. In addition he is friendly and personable. Definitely recommend and as far as prices they are very affordable. Fridays are very busy for them and recommend Tuesdays and Wednesdays not as busy. The vet was also informing and outlined all my puppies visits and vaccines due. 5 Star review for this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience was very pleasant. We have two cats and one of them is extremely anxious, and even like that she was ok and did great in her vaccines. The Vet was very helpful and direct. He guided us with the right treatments. The price is reasonable and less than 50% than other places I’ve gone before. For two cats, one rabies vaccine, two revolts and some bronchitis medicine we paid almost little less than $200 usd.

Experiencia fantástica: My fur baby just had dental work today and she looks so relieved after having a few extractions. I see mixed reviews but I personally been coming here for over 10 years. Be prepared to wait there is a long wait because they don’t rush exams and are upfront with pricing. I always drive over an hour just to get my fur babies take care of by them!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I would had looked at their reviews before changing vets. I changed vets cause of location but the staff and rules they have are only intended for you to waste much more money. Like they advertise $40 something dollars. I ended up paying almost $400 on both times. Unnecessary treatments that they tell you they’re a must. When trying to get my trifexis they won’t give it to me because it’s been more than three months. Now I need worn exam etc. my other vet had no issues but this place is money hungry.

Experiencia negativa: In 2019, I brought my dog to this clinic because he had a mass on his neck that I was deeply concerned about. The veterinarian examined it and, without much discussion, decided to perform a needle aspirate. He was confident that it was likely pus-filled, but when he aspirated it, it turned out to be blood. I could tell by his expression that something was wrong, but no explanation was given. He simply let me leave without charging me, without providing any guidance on what had just happened, how to care for my dog, or what I should do next. There was no referral, no written record of the visit, and no advice on how to manage the bleeding that followed — nothing. I went home and struggled alone to stop the bleeding, applying pressure and cold compresses for over an hour, crying and feeling helpless. Over time, my dog began developing lumps across his head and body. His abdomen became painful and distended. The mass he aspirated turned out to be hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer that affected my dog’s spleen and began spreading rapidly throughout his body following that error. When my dog was finally properly diagnosed, he was only given two to four weeks to live. He passed in early 2020, just as predicted. This experience has haunted me to this day. I trusted this clinic to help my dog, and instead I left with no answers and no support. I blame myself for his death. Had I’d known more back then about the types of cancer in dogs and how cancer spreads— I would’ve never let him poke my dog on a whim! But I depended on them for guidance and care and they let us both down in every way. I’m sharing this review nearly five years later because what happened to him was not okay. If I had only been charged for what happened, I’m sure I could have done something more about it, but I was young and didn’t know any better.

Experiencia fantástica: Good service. They don’t run tons of test “just to check” when my dog and cat were brought in for wellness check and to get established with a vet. When my dog did have an injury a few months later, they saw her immediately. The cost of bringing her without an appointment as walk in was only $5 more than their normal ver low office visit cost. I’m keeping my babies with this vet even though it’s a bit of a drive for me but the cost is so much lower than in my area.

Experiencia fantástica: If you have an issue waiting, go somewhere else. They help so many people in one day and they do as many as they can even after being fully booked. The prices are very affordable. The veterinarian is direct and the staff is kind. I loved my experience here and they were able to help my baby who got an infection after surgery. Forever grateful for this clinic and I LOVE the tech that helped us. I wish I got her name.

Experiencia positiva: My cat has been having unusual behavior. I had to rule out that it wasn't anything medical. My usual veterinary clinic recommended Affordable Pet Clinic because they don't do the service I was asking for. I tried to call to make an appointment but I was indecisive about the time because I was in the middle of my work day. I ended up doing a walk-in. I waited for about an hour to be placed in a room. Then I waited for a little over half an hour to see the vet. I had to step out and ask if we could be seen soon because I had somewhere to be soon. The vent came in and he was great. He looked over my cat and said he could tell her issue was behavioral. My cat has such a cattitude! He gave me a few suggestions to improve her behavior and he also gave me some cat pills to give her for two weeks. I'm supposed to return after the two weeks so we will see how it goes. It's good to know there's a clinic so close to home but I prefer my quiet clinic in Humble. Also they don't have the three month flea pills for my other cat.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars, I would please do not waste your time here if you can afford to take your pet elsewhere do so I went here. hesitant, hoping it would be OK. I scheduled an appointment and sat there past 49 min. Of my appointment time staff was very disoriented didn’t have ETA properly for me on when my pet would be seen. I spoke with another lady sitting in the lobby who had been waiting 3 hours beyond her appointment time unacceptable I know that it is considered an affordable alternative for Vet care, but if you guys can afford a little extra an save the headache, please do so would never recommend going here also the conditions of the lobby, Wear, horrendous dirty and nasty.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good service. I went without an appointment, I arrived early and without an appointment I only waited about 30 minutes and they attended to me. They are very well coordinated and are very professional and friendly and the prices are very good.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister goes to the place all the time. They always treat her nicely and I’m starting to go here with my new cat, but I was on the phone with this girl name. Elizabeth, and she was being very rude. Always put me on hold and didn’t even say hello to me properly.

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited Affordable Pet Care on Little York to seek help for my dog, who needed a tumor removed. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of the front desk staff and the technician who assisted me. They were rude, dismissive, and showed little concern for my dog's well-being, which was disheartening during such a stressful time. On the positive side, the doctor was highly informative, answering all my questions with clarity and professionalism. However, when the technician returned to discuss pricing and the risks of the procedure, her responses were vague and unempathetic. When I inquired about the surgery's potential risks and outcomes, her answers felt dismissive and failed to provide the reassurance or detailed explanation I needed. While the doctor inspired confidence, the staff's overall lack of compassion and poor communication made this a disappointing experience. I hope they work on improving their customer service to better support concerned pet owners in the future.

Experiencia negativa: I called them around 10:51 to ask when they stopped walking and they said before TWELVE so I drove 20 mins, got there at 11:20 and tried to bring in my cat because she wasn't defecating like she regularly does, and when I got there they said the last walk they do is at 11:00. I urgently needed to get my cat checked and I made sure that I was going to be able to check her in but I couldn’t because I got there late even though I was told prior that they stopped before TWELVE

Experiencia fantástica: I took my dog “Precious” because she wasn’t feeling well I was kind of worried because of the location but to my surprise she was treated very good and the price wasn’t bad. The next day she was wagging her tail and doing much better.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was really great, prices are affordable and everyone here is very friendly. I came in as a walk in and I felt that I did not have to wait so long to get seen but I also arrived shortly after 9AM. I would recommend coming in as early as possible as they do start to get pretty busy after 10AM but overall my experience was great. My dog needed a tumor removed urgently and they were able to do it on the same day. I am so happy and grateful to have come to this vet

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming here since my baby was 3 months old. He will be 13 next month. When he was about 8 months old he got ran over and I took him to an emergency vet in Humble that was open 24 hours as this happened late in the evening. They were awful and weren’t hopeful that he would make it. They showed me different payments plans what those would buy him in terms of his survival. I rushed him to Affordable pet clinic as soon as they opened the next morning. They kept him a few days to make sure he was recovering well. They saved my baby with their care and attention when the others just saw me as dollar signs. They are definitely more affordable than most vet clinics and I have tested this through the years. I’ve personally never had a bad experience here, the vets have always been so nice and caring with my baby, and the meds have always been more affordable than other places. There’s a long wait sometimes, but honestly it’s worth it in my opinion for the care you’re going to get and the money you will save. Even though the building is older than other vet clinics I’ve been to, they do a great job of keeping the waiting area and all of the rooms pretty clean. I’m glad this place exists!

Experiencia fantástica: They were fast and friendly I was very happy with the service I received although my pups were too young to get thier booster shots but I didn't have to pay anything either I recommend this place because it is affordable reasonable and fast. Y pay three of 4 times the amount for the same thing

Experiencia fantástica: I called yesterday Friday 08/09 and spoke with Gabriella. She was very nice and professional. I had so many questions since I'm a new dog owner and she was able to answer all my questions with so much patience.I was able to schedule an appointment same day in the AM but was also told they take walk ins as well if needed. The front office staff, nurses and Dr's are all very nice and informative. The place smells great and they are constantly disinfecting and mopping while we were there to ensure that there is no dirty smell. We saved a lot of $ I feel for my dogs 1st vet visit all vaccines, microchip etc. We will be FURREVER patients.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give NO stars I would!! This place a joke!!! Had an apt at 3pm and three hrs later they were ready!!! Came with a baby and my pet was also treated with the most up right disrespectful manager with an attitude!!! This place is DIRTY and it literally has only one dr working!!!!! Don’t think it’s affordable bc when you get the bill they will try to up charge you for everything name brand DO NOT trust this vet!!!! They are the worst VET!!!! And crazy to think people really don’t even care about your pets that work here!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Waiting times are ridiculous. Waited 2 hours just to be seen and get regular shots for my dog. And that’s only because I kept on asking them why they still don’t call me after they let people that got here after me go in. I got here at 12:50 how is it 3:00 and I’m still waiting to be seen.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the place for you pet it's affordable and they care. They are not there for money the are there for the member of your family! I toke my dog and the fill-in doc was amazing and Compassionate. He was knowledgeable and gave me the papar work with fact about what my dog was sick of at a very low price. I went to the Katy location because it was closer to me that was a big mistake and a waste of money. The little York location is well worth the travel. I went to several vets and hospitals in one week with no answers spending over 800.00. The little your location gave me more info and a thorough exam at a VERY low price of 80.00 including meds. Affordable Pet Care Little York Dr. Devalapally i am forever grateful to you! Thank you for the help. Jacob appreciates you!❤

Experiencia negativa: Do not take your animals here if you need proper care because they literally turned me away and on a time sensitive situation and if they would’ve seen me they would’ve been able to save my little animals life, but they instead they turned me away and told me that they couldn’t take any walk-ins even though they were not fully booked,I think if you are a veterinarian your services are to the animals and their well-being and not even consulting the veterinarian on staff, instead it was just a front desk staff who turned me away it’s very unprofessional,and unforgivable. The veterinarian at the animal hospital told me if this kitten would have gotten fluids it would’ve survived but sadly it did not get them on time. Thank you for your lack of empathy.

Experiencia fantástica: Ernesto is the best vet tech. Very affordable. I adopted a pet kitten the office visit was 20. The vet doesn’t explain a lot but he does know what he is doing. I also recommend to listen to the vet techs they know what they’re doing and explain things to you. Overall, the price and workers there are great. My kitten was sick and now he is very healthy. He had an eye infection and as you can see in the photo it is gone. He had worms which is gone and his immune system has gotten better from sneezing and fast breathing. Thank you for being affordable and helping us

Experiencia negativa: I took my frenchie puppy here for its shots the male vet was nice and said my puppy was healthy so he got his shots two days later my dog was sick so i took him back and he had parvo that i told the lady vet he had to have got it from here my dog had never been outside and my grown dogs only go out for bathroom breaks on a leash and they are fine she didn't deny it but more blow it off and setup a daily treatment that cost me $500 and my dog died on the 5th day my point is please take Chlorox wipes and clean the table yourself and do not put your puppy on the floor !!!!

Experiencia negativa: Have had a terrible experience with this clinic in the last two days. Waited for over 2 hours to be seen yesterday, after I was told what time they could see me. They never even got to me because after waiting for 2.5hrs it was still going to be another hour and I had to go to work. They asked me to come back in today and it is now going on 2 MORE hours and still have not been seen. The staff is worse than going to the airport..0 sense of urgency at all, no customer service skills, and just a general not caring about it because “it’s a low cost clinic”. That’s extremely disappointing and sad. Just because we are paying less doesn’t mean we aren’t paying and it doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to be treated with respect for our time. So if you’re thinking of bringing your pets here just be prepared to sit for hourrrrrrrrs regardless of your pets condition and be prepared for them not to care.

Experiencia negativa: Expecting a great office, nice staff and good time management...but that's not what happened. The staff was disrespectful when I asked questions, including the doctor. They were unprofessional, yes it's great prices but it's not great when you get harassed. You get what you pay for, if you're looking for professionalism it's not here. But if you would like to get ganged up on by employees then come here . I'd say pay just a bit more for a nice environment.

Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t been to this clinic in years but since I had to take 3 pets this was my more affordable option. When I called the first time no answer. I waited a day and called again no answer tried one more time and on my second attempt I was able to speak to someone and make an appointment the receptionist was so nice and was able to locate my old account from years ago. She informed me they were switching systems. I even ended getting a call back from my original missed call to see if I was helped! The day of my appointment the wait was a bit long about less than an hour to get seen and about an hour in the back again I had 3 pets 2 dogs and a cat. They answered all my question and were very gentle with all 3 of my pets. One of them came back heartworm positive she originally was a stray before we got her. We are currently doing heart worm treatment and they were able to break down the cost so I am able to get the funds for each appointment. Overall I am very satisfied with their service!

Experiencia negativa: Hello everyone just wanted to let you know that the service here is great, but if you need to call them for appointments, questions about how to give your pets medication, they never never ever answer the phone. I believe that at any business the phone should be answered at all times, the voice machine says “ experiencing a high volume of call” but when I go there they aren’t even on the damm phone, they should really answer those phones.

Experiencia fantástica: They saved my baby boys life!!! I have a 11year old Dachshund mix and I was afraid that it was time to put him down. He was not his normal self. I walked in on a Friday without an appointment which they added me to the schedule without any issues. It was a wait but worth it for my baby boy. They drew blood turned out he had an infection. They gave him IV fluid and antibiotics. The doctor and staff were amazing and careful with my baby boy thank you sooo much for helping my baby boy return to his normal self May God continue to bless this clinic

Experiencia positiva: They have great service and the nurses really care about your pet and making sure you have the knowledge, you ask for. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is I've had to wait over 2 hours one visit in the room and when I came out to ask what the hold up was, I noticed everyone just standing around talking. They hurried and helped me out afterwards me saying something. But service was still good, LONG, but good. Also they NEVER answer the phone. Don't call, you have better luck just going up there and talking to them if you can.

Experiencia negativa: I've been taking my dogs here for years, before they changed the doctor. The previous doctors help me raise my puppies and battle cancer on my 12 y/o dog and kindly and lovingly help me put her down. Now they have a new vet, a very disrespectful and rude person, I adopted my dog 4 years ago and have been taking her here ever since. I asked her a couple or questions regarding changing her cheap to my name and she said she couldn't attend to the dog because she wasn't sure I was the owner!!!! Not only didn't make sense since she had the dog's 4 year records but she was extremely rude and condescending. It's such a shame!
