When I took peaches for surgery. Well peaches and I had to do something special for the staff. We got them donuts. If you are doing surgery, I recommend you get there when they say and give atleast 15 to 20 min to be finished. You fill out your paperwork and pay . They are so well organized and such a friendly staff. Very professional.

I see homeless people who can't afford the original price come here and it warms my heart knowing they are able to get their pet vaccinations, spayed or neuteres here. The prices are affordable. I've been coming here for 6 years now. My pets are well taken care of. I used to go to another veterinary clinic and pay double the price. I donate to this clinic as well when my pets get their updated vaccinations. I have 2 out of my 3 male dogs neutered for $75 this included the plastic E-collar for them so they don't lick the surgical area. Thank you to all of you who work here and provide such a loving environment for our pets ♥️ I appreciate all you do. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you guys.

Unfortunately, when I later received the confirmation, the appointment had been scheduled for a Thursday. I want to acknowledge that I should have reviewed the date more carefully before confirming, and I take responsibility for that oversight. That said, I wanted to bring this to your attention because it appears that the confirmed appointment did not align with the availability I provided. If a Monday appointment was not available at that time, I would have gladly waited longer for a date that fit my schedule. Now, I may need to reschedule and potentially wait several more months for my dog’s procedure if I am unable to arrange transportation. I am not leaving a bad star rating, as I truly appreciate the important work your organization does for the community and recognize the effort your team puts into serving clients. My intent is simply to provide constructive feedback in hopes that similar scheduling issues can be avoided in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband took our cats to PETS today and had an AMAZING experience. We have one cat that gets extra spicy (very nervous) at the vet when it’s time for shots. He has even gotten sent home and told not to come back without Gabapentin. The staff here not only was able to successfully give both cats shots, they handled my nervous boy so so well. I’m so beyond thankful for this clinic!

There is such a huge need for these kind of services because having pets is Not just for the wealthy and caring enough about those pets to want them well taken care of and to have the basic services they need, like vaccinations and reproductive limiting, these things Should be affordable to all. Places like this understand and honestly care about the animals that are our pets and our extended family to make such services available and affordable. So important to have this place and Everyone was very nice to deal with from the very beginning of contacting them through their site online. Just seriously the best. My pet did take well with them and they called several times to check on him... I've had serious issues taken care of for my pets at other vets, spending hundreds of dollars multiple times, putting aside other bills for the health of the pet, and have Never had anyone from those office experiences call to check on how the animal is doing, no matter the procedure or issue. Again, places like this are So necessary to be able to give our pets the care they need. I will be donating to this place to keep them open as I've seen places like this shut down before because they are not getting enough funds to keep up their good work. They should have grants and everything to stay open And they help control populations in a meaningful, humane way. It's just a very important place to have and I'm so thankful I found it here and had the time to wait for an appointment for my pet.

Experiencia fantástica: Happy with our vet visit. I will say it was a bit cheaper for heart worm prevention meds and flea/tick . But overall the cost was about the same as visiting a regular vet clinic. Everyone was very nice to our fur baby.

Experiencia fantástica: I live in NM and once a month there is a group that facilitates and transports cats to P.E.T.S Clinic of Amarillo for spay/neuter/shots for cats. I just sent 3 on this month’s transport. That is a total of 8 for me so far. The process is an easy one from drop off to pick up. I’ve not personally met the staff in Amarillo but the love that they put into taking care of their patients is very obvious. Unbelievable that they communicate via email when your pet is completed and follow up next day with a call. They make it affordable to help with the feral population as well as your personal pets. The three I had there yesterday was less $ than half of having one (1) done in my home town. Thank you guys for accommodating Eastern New Mexico! We you!

Experiencia negativa: Before I begin I a have worked as a vet tech at a private clinic and an animal shelter. I also have a degree in biology with a minor in companion animal science. I am trained and educated on how to deliver Subcutaneous Vaccines exactly like the ones my two pets received. I took two of my dogs to this clinic to recieve low cost Vaccines and the injection on one of my animals was given INCORRECTLY. These Vaccines are supposed to go under the skin and she was injected directly in the muscle extremely high on the hip almost the back this not acceptable and though i support the mission of the practice i will not be going back.

Experiencia positiva: I took two of my little Maltese here on 7/16/25 (which i have to admit they were very accommodating). They did offer curbside service as I had 2 that were getting vaccinated. BUT within five hours of getting vaccinated BOTH of my babies were acting strange. They are 5 and 8 years old and get vaccinated every year (so this isn't their first rodeo) and wouldn't come to me, wouldn't come get a treat, didn't want to go in the car (their FAVORITE thing), and would hardly eat or drink (unless I took it to them). My 8 year old laid in her bed and panted for hours until she finally fell asleep. My 5 year old (who is so active and rambunctious) just laid on the couch until I finally carried him out to go to the bathroom around midnight. I got them into the vet early the next morning, which ended up costing me quadruple what it would have cost me had I'd taken them to my vet in in the first place. My vet said sometimes dogs have a mild reaction to vaccines (neither of these ever have) and gave them an anti-inflammatory and said if they weren't better in 48 hours to bring them back in. Thankfully, they were better by the next morning. I think this may have been something that happened due to no fault of the clinic. 7/22/25 - I got a call from a very sweet lady (Dacia) at the P.E.T.S. clinic wanting to check on my pups since they'd seen my review and were concerned about my dogs. She explained that the P.E.T.S. clinic uses the very same vaccines that every vet clinic uses (same manufacturer) but is able to provide them at a lower cost because they are a non-profit. I very much appreciated the fact that she took the time to call and speak with me.

Having them meet us at the car rather than needing to sit and wait helped eliminate stress for our fur babies and made their annual visit much quicker. We also appreciate the cost effectiveness.

Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful place for WELL pet care! I 1st went there a few months ago to get Coco's nails clipped. It was only $5. Amazing price. I went inside the 1st time. They took her to the back; then, brought her to me when done. I mentioned that she hated her heart worm chews the next time and they said there are new ones that apparently taste better. I made an appt. to get her tested. It was only $25! She tested negative, so I was able to buy ONLY 1 to see if she liked them. I had agreed to get her DAV2PP shot there as it was time, so I had to wait 24 hrs. to give her the pill. It went down so much better than the old one. My favorite 2 things about the place is 1. When you make an appt., you park, text that you are waiting, they come get pet, take it in and proceed, bring pet back to you in car, take your credit card in, bring card and receipt back, and my pet is not subjected to a waitig room full of other pet germs! 2. They encourage you to have a veterinarian for sick calls, and accept receipts from vet for proof of prior treatments!!!! They are AWESOME!
