Fantastic experience: Grand Pet Care Center has been our go to place for our puppy and is able to see within 24 hours! The doctors do a great job making sure he is comfortable and working with his specific medicine restrictions.

The staff was kind and attentive, and the doctor was thorough, helpful, and took great care of my dog. Overall, it was a great experience, especially given that we didn’t have an appointment.

Negative experience: We take our 2 fosters chihuahuas there. We called the other day because one has developed some very concerning symptoms and needed to see a vet urgently. It was Tuesday morning and the clerk said earliest Friday. This dog was a patient of this clinic, however since they lack simple office/appointment management processes, they hadn’t reserved any slots for urgent situations of patients of theirs. So I got an appointment right away with another vet that takes care or our other two dogs. They didn't have a spot open but then they fit us in, which we greatly appreciated. Will never come back to the Grand because I am offended by the a lack of genuine care and professionalism and lack of commitment to the care of established patients of a clinic. I find it not to meet the bar of “caregiver”. Failing to meet that minimal bar, I have no interest in them ever touching my dogs again.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Craig, Xochitl, and Cipriano are literally the best in the business and were so patient with my grumpy pit bull today! Xochitl warmly greeted us and was very swift and empathetic with our situation as she got our pup's info and weight (and later on when she was providing the medication+instructions we were recommended while thoroughly explaining and walking us through the process and fielding any questions we had). Doctor Craig's sage wisdom and careful consideration of every factor possible was highly reassuring while we were diagnosing our situation. He helped us work through our courses of action and reach a successful conclusion while also preparing us for potential eventualities. I have never seen a more masterful and precise application of shots to any of the pets in my life than what Cipriano did today. He was so quick and painless even my dog didn't complain! 7/5 stars No notes

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! Everyone was so nice, helpful, and informative. I had a bad mishap and missed the grace period, but they were so understanding. They were able to squeeze us even though they didn’t have to. The prices were very reasonable. Best vet I’ve ever been to. My cats loved everyone too, and they’re already feelin better. (Don’t be late like me, I got lucky, and they’re busy for a reason!! I highly recommend this place.)

Fantastic experience: Any time I come here with my baby, they always take such good care of her! I’ve truly never had a bad experience here, whether it be for vaccinations or to something as simply as nail clipping! Their prices are super affordable but the quality of care never changes! I recommend this place to all of my friends and family who have pets and they love it too! Try it out!

Negative experience: Don't go!! I use to love this place until last year. One of my dogs they lied and said she had 2 years to live she dies this year! I just took her a few months ago. My other dog she was pregnant and I asked them to confirm they said she was not pregnant and prescribed me arthritis pills thank God the pups came out okay but they stole my money and lied about my other baby life span. Seems like they only like small dogs my dogs were big a pitbull and a lab.

Fantastic experience: Awesome vets who genuinely care and enjoy their work. I love this place. Also, they're not owned by a huge corporation that pushes unnecessary testing and meds. Highly recommend (they're busy, though, so don't expect a next-day appt)

Negative experience: This is a long one.... I recently lost a friend who left behind 2 cats. I brought them both here for boarding for 5 nights while they did some work at his home. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. One of the cats is a long hair and needed a new beginning on his coat, so I asked if they do grooming with a Lion cut. They said yes. As I was asking, a man was there and the front desk person asked him something in Spanish, the man responded and then laughed. I dont speak Spanish, so I asked is everything ok? He said yes he could do it and everything was fine. I asked how much, and he said 75.00 to 100.00. I called a couple days later to see how they were doing and asked if the one cat had his grooming. She said yes, and that he was not happy after. Ok...I get that. Understandable. Today, I went to pick them up. The desk said all is good, you paid up front. I reminded him of the grooming and that I needed to pay for that. He had to check. The same man came out that was there the first day. I of course thought he was the groomer. When I asked the cost he said 135.00! I told him he quoted 75.00 to 100.00 He denied this, but told reception to just charge whatever I say. Well Im not going to demand a price. They ended up charging 80.00. I was willing to pay 100.00....until I saw the cut. I got the cats home. Took out the one who should have gotten a Lion cut and its really bad. REALLY bad. And there are nick's on his back. See pictures. At this point I knew I needed to talk to a manager. My intent was to just let them know my experience, but it was met with defensiveness from the beginning. I spoke to the manager Sam Day. (I had to call back and ask his name because i didnt remember it. The man that answered sounded like the man I spoke to earlier, and sort of reluctantly gave me the name). From the start he would not let me finish my story. When I intermittently got everything out, he said the groomer doesn't do Lion Cuts on cats. They consider it shaving and a technician does it! I told him if I would have been told that, I would have taken the cat to an actual groomer. And then when I told him of the negative experience at drop off with this man, and how he told me 135.00 at pick up, Sam told me he was surprised. He said this man has been here for 35 years and is a 'fan favorite'. Not once did he say he was sorry. His offer was to have me bring the cat back in to actually see if they did the knick! Not sure what that means or what he would have done at that point, but I told him I'm not putting the cat through that. Sam wanted me to tell him what I thought he should do. You should not make the customer tell you. When I said that he said "well I offered for you to bring him back and you declined so what do you want me to do"? When I told him he kept cutting me off, he denied it and then proceeded to go over the entire conversation, and when I tried to interject, I couldn't. It was just bad. By the way, when I called to make the reservation, I asked if they would be a a regular cage. The gal...who was very sweet...told me it was a big cage and they could have their carriers in there, and that there was a window. I though thats great! A window! When I got there, we went downstairs 2 flights to some cages. So....not really the window I was thinking. I thought, a window to outside. It was a cage door on one side and a 'window' on the other side facing other cages. And, they also keep smaller dogs in the same area. So I was disappointed but had no choice at this point. These poor cats have been through so much in just a few weeks. I wish I had taken them elsewhere. I work in the veterinary field. Customer service for me is 1st. I was not being unkind, or raising my voice. All I wanted was a sorry, and maybe to say I understand and thank you for letting me know. That's it. At least try to listen, be kind, and helpful. They have great reviews for the Dr's and dog boarding. But I wouldn't advise taking your cat there. At least not for boarding or grooming. :(

Fantastic experience: When I first got there, my dog was under distress. The assistant told me I had to have an appointment to see the doctor. They didn't take walk-ins. This has been my dogs very for over 8 or so years. I used to live a mile away but I moved. Now I'm over 2 hours away. I had a Dr appointment in Santa Ana around the corner from the vet. As I was getting on the fwy to go home, he started breathing weird. So I get there and when he told me I needed an appointment, I went into panic mode. He said the doctor had a surgery to do. I asked him, do you think he will make the 2 hour drive. He was gonna refer me to a different pet hospital. The doctor overheard the conversation and came out. She said she would take care of him. I actually started crying with gratitude! We were there for about three hours. He was overheated. He had an Xray, IV therapy and his rabies shot. All I can say is, she was absolutely amazing. I love that doctor. She literally took care of him. She heard the fear in my voice. She knew how far I lived and said she didn't want me to take the chance to drive 2 hours with his breathing like that. Eventough I live so far away, I'm always willing to drive there for my furbaby's health. I absolutely would refer everyone to: Dr. Kimberly Caruso D.V.M. Positive experience: It’s a fine enough place but I don’t know why I had to pay $60 for the vet to check my dog heart beat just to pay $200 for flea meds? The vet didn’t do any kind of real check up on the dog. It’s probably not just this vet that does it I’m sure so I don’t want to just blame this staff, they’re good. My wife usually takes care of this stuff, I got too much time on my hands

Negative experience: The place is so dirty and it smells disgusting. I had to wait over 45 minutes even though I had an appointment and when the doctor came in she barely examined my dog. Her questions felt more like statements. And her staff is not friendly nor helpful.

Negative experience: If I could give less than a star I would, I took my dog Timmy to the groomers here. Once I received him back, he would not open his eyes at all to the point they got inflamed. I took him to the emergency vet, just to find out he got ulcers from his grooming appointment. As a veterinary student myself, I just don’t understand how this could’ve happened. Please don't take your pets here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years now, and boy do they take care of my babies!! They also offer grooming services, which is highly convenient, and the work is top tier! It’s on the pricer side, but worth the money for sure. The staff and guests are always incredibly friendly and makes my whole fur family feel welcome. There’s a rotation of vets it seems like, but they seem knowledgeable and very thorough in their own ways. They took the time to explain things in detail and answered all my questions! You can tell they really have a love and passion for animals. I highly recommend this place for excellent care for your furry friends!

Positive experience: The vet and their helpers are amazing!! Very patient and caring with the animals. I just have one complaint the grooming company that they hire. Let me tell you the girl comes out with an attitude, she doesn’t great you no manners, and with long nails. Pet grand call me to let me know that my dog is ready for pick up. I arrive and I notice that his face and his ears are still dirty and his barely cut down. I also paid the extra fee for spa treatment. He smelled like he was only wet with water and no soap. Never again will I use their grooming services. The vets and their helpers are amazing and their prices very affordable.

Fantastic experience: •♡♡♡♡♡• Absolutely LOVE this place!! All the staff are sooo super nice and very accommodating to pet parents schedules, as well. I take both my dogs there since they were baby puppies. Oso/ Molly I also especially loved the Vet we got to see last time I took my dog. (Can't remember his name- but it was an older man..??) He was So helpful and did an awesome job explaining everything so that I was able to understand!! My only issue= was when I called & tried to set up an apt. To see the same doctor/ vet, I think they told me that he maybe no longer works there anymore.. not positive.. but I am pretty sure that's what they said to me.. so that was a HUGE bummer.. because i would have loved for that vet to be my dogs #1 Go- to doctor every time I take them to Grand Pet Care.... he was so nice and listened to e everything. He answered all my concerns.. But either way.. Love this place.. P.s. one time when I was leaving there, I was having a major issue controlling my dog out in parking lot- trying to simply get him into my car. Bc he saw another GSD- and literally lost his mind. I Was in full blown panic mode bc I was two seconds away from losing hold on his leash . I have literally never been so scared! And all of the sudden out of corner of my eye, this guy comes out of RV and asks me if I needed help.. and at this point, I was literally crying. Ended up being a dog trainer out there- and he Saved my life I felt like. He came over and got my dog to shape up in under 30 seconds and got him into my car.. I was so grateful he was there!! I'll never Forget that day, for the rest of my life!!

Fantastic experience: My cat got very sick, very suddenly. I checked her in here, and Robert was amazing. He was very considerate and gave my cat and I a room right away to wait for the veterinarian. They nursed her back to full health over the weekend. I couldn't be happier with the treatment and service. Shout out again to Robert, very caring in an industry that often lacks empathy.

It is a fairly small place but the customer service here is immaculate compared to others. Their compassion towards you and especially your pet is what keeps me coming here. Fantastic experience: I boarded my husky here for 5 days and got a bath. They did a great job on the bath and she seemed happy about her stay. I got 2 vaccines and they were reasonably priced. I will be returning!

Negative experience: If I could give my experience zero stars I would. I took my dog to grand pet care Center with an appointment and was not seen till an hour later. When the veterinarian finally walked in she took one look at my dog and said that she needed to get help because she was intimidated by him. I understand that I own a Doberman, but she did not care to get to know him at all. She just decided that she was intimidated by him just by laying there. I feel as if the veterinarian was not thorough with her check at all probably Due to the fact of her being “intimidated”. I had explained to the vet that I also wanted to pick up my dogs flea medication and she proceeded to tell me that he received it last week. in fact, he did not receive it last week, but I do have other dogs in my household who also go to This location as well when I told her that she said OK she would prescribe it for him this time, but to make sure I am not over medicating my dog. I have never been more disappointed with a vet experience. This place is definitely not large dog friendly.

Fantastic experience: After 58 years living in the neighboring cities Orange & Santa Ana & The Inland Empire. Always a Dog owner. The convenience of visiting the Vet closest to home where ever you're living at the time. Seems practical After So many Pet care appointments throughout Southern CA. It was 2005 when a Dog trainer recommended Grand Pet care. Upon arrival we noticed the outdoor Dog walk & play area. The facility was clean, the Staff were pleasant, kind, Knowledgeable & polite. For my family & i the Prices for care seemed very fair & not upsold or inflated. Our Dogs enjoy the Staff! We will not consider any other Pet care facility.

Fantastic experience: The only place I have taken my furbabies for over 17 yrs. My furdiva will be 11 next month and thus is the only place I will take her for her care. Great prices, staff is super friendly, clinic is always clean, and although I have never left my furbabies overnight, I have seen many being picked up/dropped off. Pet parents seem very pleased and furbabies very content.. I have actually seen staff, with what I assume, are borders, in pet park/area at corner of parking. It is safe for a lil playtime with my furdiva and always clean as well, Always have and always will refer family and friends..

Positive experience: I usually come here for my dogs vet visits and they are affordable. I normally used to do walkins but I called today and now they don’t and my dog needed to be seen for fleas. So I went another place and I regret it, I tried to book an appointment online but the person I called today said their system has been wonky and they haven’t been getting the appointment requests. I wish I was informed beforehand but the guy I called also didn’t try to work anything with me to get my dog to be sooner. Usually I’ll walk in and I don’t mind waiting and they usually squeeze me in. So I was little upset by that today. I will still be coming here from now on because they are “actually” affordable. My dog took a 3 month flea medication that cost about the same as the place I went to instead today and it was only for one month. So I instantly regretted going to a different place. If you need an affordable place, this is a great place, everyone here is super nice and I love that they offer so many services.

Fantastic experience: Grand pet care center has been our go to vet for about 20 years. They provided the best care for our family dog Mimi. She lived a gracious 14 years and Robert has always been a friendly familiar face. I now have my adoptive cat Daisy under their care and they always provide honest quality treatments. Fantastic experience: My Yuki has a lot anxiety and scares of stranger so a lot of Vet fail to even examine him because he wouldn't let them. But I was surprise that the technicians at Grand was able to hold and carry him without him throwing a fit so they know what they're doing. They also have a grooming service so I'm planning to have him sedated and groomed because he wouldn't let anyone groom him. Overall a pretty good experience with friendly and helpful technicians. One con is that the doctor barely spend anytime with us and walked out before I could ask some more question.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service and care from all members of staff! We brought in two dogs for vaccination, and one dog had an ear issue as well that they were able to resolve same day! My other pup is a difficult shiba inu, and they understood this and handled him in the best and most effective way possible. I am absolutely thrilled with this clinic, and will be bringing my pups in for regular visits here in the future.

Fantastic experience: The nicest people ever!! They made sure to take me step by step through of what the process of my puppy should look like in terms of what his health is going to look like growth both behavioral and physical. They also gave me great advice and made my pets shots an easy process!!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, i took my dog for grooming, and when i come back to pick him up, I'm told that they put vaccines that i did not request or approved... they are not legally suppose to give any medication or vaccines that they owner of the dog has not requested or approved. Instead of Sam the supposed owner rectifying the mistake that his employee did, and removing the vaccinee charge and apologizing, he gets defensive and tells me that it is what it is, and that we had talked about it... when today was the first time i spoke to him about it, and he has the balls to tell me that i don't have to come back!! he needs some people skills and business retention management. I will not come back, and i'll make sure i tell all my friends and neighbors that i referred to that place to never go back. Also, every time you try to call to set an appointment they put you on hold for a long time, without even telling you to wait,... run away from this place, there's plenty of other professional and better client focused customer care, veterinary options out there.

Fantastic experience: We've tried other veterinary clinics for our dog Houston, but we always come back to Grand Pet. I have been coming here over a year with a different pet who passed recently and would recommend anyone to bring your loved ones here. They never pressure you into buying or doing things. They always offer other options of what's best for your loved ones

Fantastic experience: Our family and extended families have been with Grand Ave Pet Hospital for more years than I can count. I couldn’t imagine having our furbabies seen anywhere except Grand. We recently adopted a pet after our Golden passed January 2023. It was a sudden and unexpected loss, which Grand handled with care and compassion. That’s something I’ll remember and appreciate. Our new family member is happy and well taken care by Grand’s dedicated team, which we are hoping will continue for many years to come

Fantastic experience: Grand Pet Care Center is wonderful!! Dr and staff are so amazing and helpful. This is my favorite vet office I have ever been to. The staff here actually is sweet and care about the animals and not just money, they work with the pet owners to make sure that pets receive the best care at the best price. They take their time to hear your concerns and it doesn't feel like they are trying to nickel and dime you for unnecessary procedures. Unlike other places I've been to, I am so grateful I found this place.

Fantastic experience: Brought my dog here for a mass she had on her back. She was assessed quickly, and within a few weeks she had her appointment to get surgery and get it removed. We paid around $1400 for the surgery only, we didn’t get charged for any other appointments or check ups(may have been included in the surgery price). Which compared to other places it was great because it resolved the issue rather than just running tests. They told us to come back a few more times after surgery, and it made the healing a lot easier. Every time we brought our dog in everyone treated and talked to us nicely. The doctor and staff seem to genuinely care about the patients and it’s hard to find that sometimes in the vet industry. Prices are good, service and care is even better. Thank you Grand Pet Care Center! Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with this place I took my dog for her first visit and she has stiff legs so he helped me find an affordable way to make her feel better and she is doing great now I really appreciate the vet and the people who helped me with my baby thank you so much
