Negative experience: Stated one cost for exam and then charged another. Also cost estimate for treatment very high with high ceiling in upper cost. Don’t trust the quote after being told different exam prices for a 2 minute exam.

Fantastic experience: My first time experience exceeded my expectations, including waiting area, the welcoming staff, and the assistance provided by the physician. Dr. Hart addressed the symptoms without recommending unnecessary additional tests. ☆ I was able to obtain a senior discount, which was not offered by my previous veterinary service. This is a significant advantage! Also they took and gave me a picture of my pup for valentines .

Negative experience: On 4/24/23 I called and told them my 12 year old dog was really sick. Was told first appointment was 5/19/23 or I could TRY for an urgent care slot but none that day. Found a lovely vet hospital in Canyon County that was open Monday thru Sunday from 7 am to 11 pm with walk ins. Called and they took her immediately. Sadly she had to be put down 4/26/23. Dx with not only pancreatitis and a UTI but also found many organ masses. She was so sick she would not have survived a surgery nor would I put her through that. My Lucy was a wonderful loving and faithful friend who found her forever home here with me at 8 months of age. Shame on you Park for not caring enough about my baby! 12/18/23 - just received a phone call from Park veterinary Hospital. They wanted to remind me that Lucy was due for her Annual physical. Apparently they don’t read bad reviews Only good ones. When I told her that Lucy died in April she hung up on me. 12/30/25 - still no response from these heartless people but they did send me an email today about their services for Lucy. I blocked them! I adopted another rescue Xolo, Fred, and would NEVER bring him here. I have been so pleased with Grand Canyon Animal Hospital in Canyon Country. It’s a 25 minute drive but well worth it. They are so loving. Not only that but they have long hours, open 7 days, and take walk ins.
Negative experience: Made an appointment online which I thought was great convenience- wise. Got a confirmation text the day of and confirmed “Y” that I will be at appointment. Drove over in the rain only to find that they were closed with a paper sign on the door that they were closed due to “severe weather”. The weather was not at all “severe”. Im shocked that there was no courtesy call or text before I drove across town rather a “CONFIRMATION” text that my appointment is still happening. As a new client, this is not the type of service I would expect from a vet. I will not be returning. I had to spend the rest of the day calling around looking for last minute appointments and luckily Pet Cure Vet Center off of Sherman Way saved the day. Do better!

Negative experience: One star isn’t enough. I’m so hurt and frustrated. It’s Christmas Eve, I called this place yesterday and set up and appointment for my new kitten to get its vaccines. The next day they sent a confirmation text that the appointment was on…after driving 45 mins in the pouring rain, I get there only to find a WRITTEN note that they are closed for the day due to “DANGEROUS WEATHER” which I of course had to drive in to find out they are closed. Thanks for ruining Christmas Eve, and leaving my new kitten and I in the rain with no options. You guys stink!

Fantastic experience: I took my dog Velvet to my old vet at East valley animal hospital where I used to see Dr Hart who is wonderful. The doctor completely screwed me over and misdiagnosed my dog so then I went to Park animal hospital following Dr Hart and I'm so glad I did. I saw Dr Bones who was so kind and compassionate as was Walter the vet tech. My dog was very sick with gastroenteritis and they were kind and respectful they explained everything to me and how things would be done. They also gave me an estimate and explain that thoroughly before signing it. Only problem is they're in Simi valley and I live in Burbank but I'm more than happy to make the journey of 45 minutes out there because it's well worth it. These are caring people and that's really hard to come by these days in my experience in the vet world.

Fantastic experience: We came to PAH for urgent care by accident while traveling from Michigan. After being referred to another clinic, I mixed things up in Google Maps and ended up here anyway. I’m so grateful we did. The staff was incredibly kind and generously worked us in to see our dog. Dr. Hart was knowledgeable, thorough, and very reassuring during a stressful situation. We felt truly cared for and are thankful for the compassion and professionalism shown to us and Justice.

Fantastic experience: They do a great job....doctor bones has empathy and answers questions. You don't feel like a number when your head is spinning going over what is going wrong on your animal. It sucks when your animal is sick but she helps through it

Fantastic experience: Update 6/17/25: Dr. Park who was there before was excellent, but now is no longer there and this place took a turn for the worse. She is now Wood Ranch Animal Hospital, and she’s so excellent that I drive 1.2 hours to take my cats with her. Previous post: ONLY place I trust with my cats. My cats are my reason for living, so I give them the best care and got them pet insurance. I drive 1.5 hours just to come here. I recently got my 3 year old's teeth cleaned, and they did an excellent job. I will say it was definitely more pricier than other places, but cats are notorious for hiding diseases that have fatal consequences, so I didn't want to skimp out on my cat's teeth cleaning. I brought my other cat Anubis here and two other vets couldn't diagnose her and had already spent $1,200 only to be told they didn't know what was wrong with her, when she had a fever of 104 degrees. I brought her here, they give me the diagnosis in one day, and I had emergency pyometra surgery for my cat the next day (a condition in which a cat's uterus gets full of puss. I had just adopted her from a family being evicted, so she had never been to the vet before me and was already 3 years old.) They give you updates when they are done as well, and follow up the next day. Absolutely exceptional service. My cats are everything to me.

Negative experience: First I would to say the traveling veterinarian was completely compassionate and friendly. He explained everything he thought could be going on with our 11 year old female cat. Here’s where the crap came in, he left the room to bring his recommendations to whom ever does the billing. After 15 minutes a young man came in with a list of test, treatments and cost 875. Here’s where it gets dicey, we are going through a financial hardship do to both of us being on disability. We offered $150 and bill us the rest, but they wouldn’t budge. We ended up taking our very sick cat home with a couple of medications that were over priced, took the last dollar out of our pocket. Where is the compassionate care for animals? You should not be in business if you can’t work with certain clients. Shame on Park animal Hospital if my cat doesn’t make it, you will be hearing from my attorney

Negative experience: This vet is clearly in it only for money. They refuse to refill a prescription my senior dog clearly needs unless I, once again, bring her in for more expensive tests. On one visit, she needed a urine test and, since they were unable to extract the urine, they sent me home with a sample bottle! As if I'm able to follow my dog around and stick it under her while she does her business. Of course, I was never able to accomplish this but they STILL charged me for the urine test. I have spent more than $800.00 in the last several months (less than a year) and I'm constantly getting text messages and e-mails begging me to bring her in for more expensive tests which my dog has had within the last year. And now they're running an extortion scheme, demanding I bring her in for expensive tests I can't afford in order to get a refill for something completely unrelated to what the tests would involve. This medicine was $68 (about a 6 week supply) last year and is now $88.00. They're making LOTS of money on this, as well. They USED to be a good office but, ever since they moved and have hired new, less qualified, doctors they are very apparently constantly looking for more ways to extract more money from every patient.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased at the love and compassion the staff and Doctors at Park Animal gave me when visiting their office for a pretty extensive surgery for my little dog. They took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I was really Comfortable. I was able to book an appt for surgery right away and they worked me into their busy schedule and were so accommodating. Both Makayla and Crystal were so awesome, making me feel so comfortable in knowing that my sweet girl would be taken care of. I am so glad I returned to their office, as I switched to another Vet after Dr. Yu left. My sweet girl is healing well and I appreciate the care I received there all the way around.

Fantastic experience: Oh It’s a story…I paid the Dentist $600 maxing my one card. That’s ok I have another. A few days before Park Animal Hospital we left to help our 2nd son empty his storage in Phoenix, AZ. While driving to our 1st son’s house with a trailer full of stuff, we were a few cars back from a major vehicle pile up in Williams AZ. It was quite a snow storm, turning into a white out. The Freeway had to be closed both directions for 2 1/2 days. We incurred Hotel & food cost but we were alive and ok, so no complaints. Our older son drove ahead, he had called & warned us about the road condition & heavy snow fall & ice, just before the accident on the fwy, so we slowed down, barely missing the pile up. 2 1/2 days later we caught up with our son unloading the storage items quickly. Then hurried with dirty laundry to our daughter’s house, in Simi Valley, CA. We were helping with the kids because the family was leaving for vacation & catching an early A.M. flight. Of course the washer breaks flooding into the hallway so every towel in the house is now used. Their cat is on antibiotic so I’m staying a week babysitting the cat while they are away. Our new kitten, Skruffles, came along & after eating new food, plus over eating starts throwing up, and squirting on the walls. Skruffles decides climbing the drapes in both kids rooms and the bathroom shower curtain is fun, and now they are ruined. My husband heads back to our Mountain home, as the washer decides to flood the hallway again, because once is not enough. The stove top stops working, so we order pizza and keep going. The family is up at 3 am, kids get their shoes on, and they all make the flight. I take the kitten to Park Animal Hospital at 11 am, he’s fine now, his tummy settled. Skruffles, the black & white kitten, with the dot on his nose, is getting his 1st kitten shots. When he is finished I realize my card is not in my purse. Therefore I must have left it at the Mountain Home. The Office is not equipped with Apple Pay & my other card won’t hold the cost because of the Dentist. With my learning curve, little Autistic, my level of “it’s going to be okay” feels like it’s slipping away. I decided to drive back to my daughters house, search the suitcase, but “nope.” I’m trying to think what to do about our kitty ⬛ who sits in the back room waiting. I drive back, trying Not to act like the “Karen’s” on YouTube. I sit down in the waiting room, haven’t even had coffee yet. I think, call my husband. He said he remembers me dumping my purse before I left our Mountain Home but has no idea where the actual card is. I hang up, still sitting in the waiting room, and I think some more.The receptionist asks a question & I kinda snap back, like a dog nipping. I’m embarrassed. Wait, maybe the dentist still has my card info, I call & they do. The bill is paid & Skruffles can come home vaccinated. All that to say the staff was so extremely kind, the patience level was unreal, they ALL kept treating my frazzled attitude with calmness. They kept me informed me about the Kittens health (good) and worked with me to get the bill paid, giving me a discount that was offered by another Vet that I initially thought was their’s, but was not. I was unable to pay at first and yet I was treated with the greatest respect. Most important their interaction with the kitten was loving. Skruffles was given a kitten treat squeezy pouch during the exam, which he ate & enjoyed, he was handled gently, & he was calm. Thus the 5 star rating.

Negative experience: I've been going to Park animal since the old ownership and location and this facility seems to be becoming worse and worse with time. I've been suggested a few other places by friends over the years but have stuck with Park Animal. After reading the reviews here I am feeling more hesitant than ever!!! Its unbelievable. Very disappointing to me. I myself have not had the best experiences with this vet and they have shifted from family owned and run business with compassion to a money hungry robotic let down with way too many employees who serve little to no purpose. Also, this place is no longer open on the weekends!! MAJOR INCONVENIENCE!!! Pretty surprising since their main focus seems to be on $$$$. They should really do an overhaul here and redeem themselves!! & Please open on the weekends again! It's very hard and stressful to have to take time from work to get your pet in for an overpriced service! It's a major hit to the wallet. Absurd!

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place. Wait times are just as bad or worse as your horrible health offices are. They are incapable of administering vaccines and will bring your pet out for you to administer but you will still pay full price. They suggest sedatives to perform basic tasks. I will no longer be going to this health care provider for my 4 legged family member. Really disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my dog to park animal hospital for 9 years. I have always loved the veterinarians and staff. They always are very compassionate with my dog who gets very scared when he goes to the vet. I just recently had his teeth cleaned and he had 2 cysts removed they took very good care of my dog.

Negative experience: Beware!!!!! We took our dog in for nail trimming and they held her down so much that her knee was injured. We have found a new Veterinary Clinic and ended up needing a $4500 knee surgery. This will go into a law suit.
Negative experience: UPDATE: My Nimue and I returned to our former vet and I found out that this place...Park Animal hospital charged me double for part of a procedure. They just named it differently but my vet said it was the same thing. Not sure how to approach this. Not surprised that they overcharged me, just surprised at the very deceitful manner in which it was done. Maybe talk to others or even lawyer. I was an auditor and when we found discrepancies, we always reviewed other similar docs for possible discrepancies. Wonder how many times they've done it. I've been taking my cat Nimue to Park Animal Hospital for about 5 months. The care is good but I'm afraid that they are way too expensive for me. I'm a 71 yr old retiree on a fixed income. I would suggest that they update the way they "offer" appointments online. One picks a time, that the sites states are available, but not really. Once you pick a time and think you have done appointment, they texted me to say they didn't have anything open until Monday. So why did their site show open times for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday? Then, they "offered" to get me in for an emergency visit at $130. So they have the time for emergency spots, but not regular. So extremely disappointed in this world and the greed that has taken over. Did I mention that they pulled 14 teeth and charged me around $1800? I put it on a credit card and it'll take me a couple of years to pay it off. I moved to Simi at the end of July. I previously lived in Camarillo. I am now taking my Nimue back to the vet there. You see, he is an actual vet with his own practice and has such compassion for all the animals....and the people. All I see at Park Animal Hospital is greed. But, I'm also finding that a lot of people in Simi have more money than the average person. It is hard as a single retired senior to live here. Read your "attempt" to make things "right". Sorry, but your canned responses mean nothing. Do not be fooled, they only want more money. They don't care for anything else. Even though I have to drive to Camarillo, I'm taking my Nimue back to our previous vet. He is a great vet and doesn't charge an arm and two legs. He CARRS for his clients and patients. Besides, Nimue likes him better. Lol

Negative experience: Last year I spent thousands on my two dogs, they were older(17yrs old) and DR.Parks was so helpful and caring. We had to put them both down in 2023... We rescued two puppies in April. I called to make an appointment to have them checked and for the 2nd sets of vaccinations. Once on the call they advised they needed a deposit in the amount of $178.00.(total amount of the visit) I had never been asked before for a deposit, and questioned why, as I don't like giving my info. The young lady replied "that's just how it is now." She was rude, I asked to speak to someone else and she replied "NO." I went in to the their office a week later to explain the interaction, and both ladies said it wasn't them i spoke to. All of a sudden this employee comes around and says it was me you spoke to. She confronted me and even called me a liar in front of staff and customers. What business allows an employee to address a customer in this manner. A lead tech came out to assist and let me know of policy changes for deposits due to no shows, which I completely understood. I made my appointment and paid the deposit. I received a call yesterday from the office manager Dave, to let me know they would refund my deposit and do want me as a customer. The way he spoke to me was unbelievable, he said he would not tolerate my behavior. I replied but you tolerate an employee calling a customer a liar and arguing with them... I asked to speak to DR. Parks, and he said NO! I have spoken to DR. Parks in the past, and she is so nice and understanding, Dave and his employee are rude.

Fantastic experience: Dr Park knows her business! She has always taken time to explain everything to us from Day One. She took care of both my dogs like they were her own. Most of all she is a caring, compassionate, Veterinarian. Rarely seen these days.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable vet, Dr. Chloe Park, helped us through our very first visit and explained what was being done every step of the way. She told us when to expect results and why the tests were being done. She made our two cats feel comfortable which made us feel comfortable. The friendly, helpful staff were so nice to us and made us feel at home. The hospital is very clean and organized. They also have available refreshments while you are waiting for your pet when they are having testing done. I am thoroughly impressed with Park Animal Hospital and now consider it my Vet home. I certainly recommend them wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming here for all our pets for a little under a year now, both vets are so compassionate and take their time to listen to what is going on. They’re gentle with our critters and the vet techs/ front desk have always been really pleasant, too. I really appreciate their flexibility with squeezing us in when we’ve had a couple of sudden urgent situations and scares; it’s nice to know we can count on them to save the day.

Negative experience: Appalled and disappointed: Vet was evasive and unprofessional, and cat is still dealing with long-term affects from over-drugging post-procedure. When we discussed an update, they ordered we call a kill shelter and put him down. Shelter was shocked, and helped us to get financial help to see a different vet. Second vet was shocked, and helped us get appropriate help so that he could recover, as well as explained what had gone wrong with his treatment. He is still facing after affects, and we genuinely thought he would pass away. I’m appalled it even got to this point, and this is not the first instance I’ve heard of with an issue with this veterinary hospital. I personally will not be coming here for any future services, nor recommending this vet. I sincerely hope they turn themselves around, because this was easily preventable, and this was not okay.

Fantastic experience: My six month old puppy decided to eat a bee yesterday morning and within an hour her face completely swelled up with her eyes entirely closed. I brought her in to Park Animal Hospital. They took her in immediately and gave her what she needed in order for her to be comfortable and to get the swelling down. They also caught a slight ear infection and a little allergic reaction on her underbelly that they treated her for. I am very grateful that they took her in immediately. I also had an experience a year ago with Park Animal Hospital with one of my elderly dogs. It was her time to go to doggy heaven. They took such great care of her, better than I could have asked! Positive experience: This is the only vet I’ve been taking my dog to and he’s 15 years old in case that says anything. I’m giving 3 stars because while the level of care is fantastic, the wait to receive it is excruciating. I had reschedule an appointment due to sudden death in my family and they told me I now had to wait 3 more weeks to see if my dogs health issues could be resolved. I have patiently waited in their urgent care for previous issues and yes, the doctor was great and I shelled out my savings just to make sure my dog was in good health but I also waited 3 hours on top of waiting inside the actual clinic for answers (maybe 4-4.5 hours spent there in total). Frankly, my dog is old and I would like to know if he’s silently suffering after finding he’s showing signs of end of life but I don’t know for sure because I am not a vet. m The wait is a recent issue, probably within the last 2 years. They seem understaffed. I used to be able to call and make an appointment within the next week. Now I have to wait no shorter than 3 weeks. So if you’re not in a rush to receive care for your pet but still want a great vet, the vets at Park Animal Hospital are it.

Fantastic experience: I had heard that it was very difficult as of late to get an appointment with a vet here in Simi. Park AH was recommended to me by another vet's office because they couldn't see my dog-ter that day. I called Park expecting the same, but was so happy when they made room for us after I told them what was going on with my puppy (she's 8, but she's our puppy!). The office staff were SO accommodating and courteous, and the front end vibe was extremely friendly and relaxing! I say this because I was very nervous. We were given a same day appointment and saw Dr. Matt. He was VERY sweet, caring, and EXTREMELY attentive to my puppy AND to me. I was VERY annoying and asked WAY too many questions before he could even address the issues at hand!!! But he rolled right along with me. He was VERY kind. Unfortunately, I had a $$ limit on what I could do. Dr. Matt didn't try to push anything on me AT ALL. He took the time to give me a couple of different scenarios and corresponding treatment options, with my budget limitations in mind. I really appreciated how instead of judging, Dr. Matt focused on helping us the best he could, with our limitations in mind. He was just SO great. I'm hoping my puppy is ok and won't need surgery to get better, but no matter what happens, I feel confident that Dr. Matt will support us the best he can. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Matt at Park AH!

Fantastic experience: What a great place to take your animals. It is so much better since the previous owner sold. The medicine does not cut corners it flows with AAHA recommendations. There is more focus on quality care and less focus on assembly line medicine. They are down Doctors, it can be challenging to get in. I schedule my rechecks when I am there in place of waiting for them to call me or we call later. It just makes sense, we love the new specials for the bathing day stay program. The techs are so kind and wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I went to get my pitbull checked today for a flea allergy attack. I paid for an urgent care visit ($110) but it’s definitely worth it. I was very happy with Dr. Chloe Park, she was extremely thorough with my pup’s physical exam, much more so than his regular vet that I pay $72 for. I just took him to his regular vet yesterday who said my dog looked good, but Dr. Park pointed out so many infected rashes and a growth on my dog that I don’t know why it was overlooked by his regular vet. The assistant/tech was very nice and helpful and she went over extensive instructions with his new meds. Dr. Park was extremely knowledgeable and it brought me reassurance since she could tell my pup was suffering. The price to pay for pet care is minimal compared to a human - I think the price is reasonable even without insurance. The total time I was there was about 15-20 minutes for an extensive work up. Very efficient and clean office. Will definitely be coming back! Bloo is feeling great now!

Fantastic experience: Park Animal Hospital has been caring for our little dog for all eight years of her life, and she's always had a great experience there. They've fixed her major health issues as well as the usual routine check-ups, and she continues to thrive. Fantastic experience: I called with concern about my dog and the fireworks. They didn’t have anything available until after the 4th but were able to squeeze me in because they were concerned for my girl. She stresses at the vet so I also needed a prescription to get evaluated. We tried to evaluate her without but it was too much and we were unable to get what we needed. So I paid for the meds and rescheduled for a tech appt. at the end of the week. Since they weren’t able to examine her they didn’t charge me for the office visit. Great customer service! The two gals in the front were super friendly, one was my old student.;)

Fantastic experience: We were here probably 5-6 years ago with our previous dog and had such a great experience that we wanted to try them out again. The parking lot was pretty empty and there was only a couple others in the waiting area before and after our appointment. They offer free coffee and water which is definitely a perk! The staff was very friendly and efficient. The girl that did the intake seemed very genuine and was extremely nice and professional. Dr. Matt was great! We were looking for a new vet and we definitely found him! He was patient and caring, listened to our questions and concerns, and was overall very knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely recommend Dr. Matt and the staff at Park Animal Hospital.

Positive experience: I’m hoping to change my review from four stars to five after my upcoming appointment. It’s unfortunate that they’re booking appointments so far out, but this is probably just due to high demand for appointments and/or a staff shortage. What is really upsetting to see is that the majority of one star reviews have been posted quite recently. Judging by the reviews alone, it appears that the quality of service has quickly declined within the past year or so. I’m disappointed that this location no longer helps small animals. It seems that there is only one vet left in Simi that does accept small animals, but I had a bad experience with them earlier this year. The one positive thing I have to say is that Chelsea (hope I’m spelling it correctly) is absolutely amazing over the phone! I believe she is new there but she was incredibly patient and kind over the phone. She went above and beyond. If this vet wants to see their reviews go up, then keeping Chelsea onboard is a step in the right direction.

Negative experience: Our two kitties have been patients at Park Animal Hospital for the past several years. Up until now we’ve had good service from this veterinary clinic. Our cats are on a special prescription diet that requires an annual checkup and reauthorization of the prescription. So the challenge is that Park Animal Hospital is booking appointments several weeks out and our cats will be out of food before we can get an appointment. I requested a courtesy prescription to get some food until our cats can be seen by the vet. “Sorry, we can’t do that!” I was told. Seriously? What kind of compassion for animals is that? Obviously we’re looking for a new vet.

Negative experience: Had a sick animal that needed care. Appointment was canceled via automated text the day before, had to call the next day to reschedule. Rescheduled for 1 week later (still have a sick dog at this point). Again got canceled the day before at 9pm via automated text. By the time they called to try to reschedule, I had scheduled with a different hospital. The doctors are good though, definitely recommend Park Animal for routine care and items that aren't time critical. Staff and Doctors are great!

Fantastic experience: I live across the valley and I’ll drive to this pet hospital because of their caring and professional service. My doggy passed away in July and they were so sympathetic and caring about my loss. Fantastic experience: Our little poodle terrier Bambi was attacked by a coyote in our backyard on Sunday morning. We were turned away from 4 pet hospitals because they had no one to see her. Also We walked into Park Animal hospital before they were open, and they took her in. They were the first hospital to give COMPASSION!! I burst into tears. They were so gentle with her and gave her so much love, affection. Kept her calm and comfortable which made me feel calm and hopeful. I recommend them to EVERYONE I see!!! Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I was worried about my cat Jack, I thought he might have an obstruction and this was my first ER visit with him. For some reason I went to 2 different Vets before this one and they both said they are booked full and couldn't see me. I came here and they also told me they are booked but they still made time to see me, and not only that but it was super quick. And the doctor and everyone was very very friendly and helped to keep my calm and just made this whole thing much easier to deal with.

Negative experience: We have been going to Park Animal Hospital for about 15 years. When it was owned by Peter Hanna. This was the best place to take your pet. They had the best service and everyone really cared. Now that it is run by a corporation they have high turnover and the service is horrible. For example, last Wednesday I had put in a request to have my dogs insulin prescription ordered. Still today (Monday...5 days) it has not been ordered. Luckily Walmart said I had one refill on a prescription from Dr. Hanna years ago but they said they would fill it. I am so unhappy with this place now. Will be looking for a new vet for my dogs.

Negative experience: This place used to be absolutely amazing. And to a certain degree they can still be good. After going here for over 10 years, had my first emergency where my dog could not walk, wasn’t taking fluid or food. They would not take us, rather they kept to the script of “I’ll refer you to emergency clinics” (that don’t open until 4!) No understanding, no care, no compassion. I read other reviews about how new patients get in last minute but guess if you are an older patient, your animal is expendable. I was so frustrated I dropped the F bomb which I regret but they have now already lost my business anyway. So sad, this place used to be so good under Dr. Hanna, when they actually cared about animals. Well I found another vet at the corner of Erringer and Royal, who was also booked but after explaining the situation they said he will find a way to see my dog today. Only come here for routine things is my suggestion. Because if it is an emergency, you will not be seen.

Fantastic experience: My dog Lucy woke up unable to open her eyes, lethargic and not wagging her tail (which is not like my Lucy). Was referred to Park Animal Hospital by my friends at All Pro Bicycles (fantastic bike shop by the way!). From the beginning the staff was so very helpful. They came out to my car and took Lucy inside to examine her (still being Covid cautious, which I appreciated). Received a phone call from the doctor, who was very patient explaining her diagnosis. Price for visit and meds was amazing as well. Best of all Lucy didn't want to leave! When does that ever happen when you take a pet to the vet! I am as picky with vets as I am people doctors, and highly recommend Park Animal Hospital. Thank you so much Park Animal Hospital!!

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend park animal hospital. My Gordo American PitBull mix had an emergency last year, Dr. Katherine Gester did everything she could to save him from going on surgery, unfortunately he had to have the surgery but she did an amazing job you can tell she cared more about my dog than the money. This year my other dog Taz had to go on surgery for a TPLL and Dr. Park was also amazing very responsive letting me know how Taz has been progressing with his surgery. This is definitely the right place to take your loved pets they really do take care of your pet I would not go anywhere else thank you Park Animal Dr. Katherine and Dr. Park for taking care of my Furrys

Fantastic experience: I was going on vacation and my cat started having diarrhea. I couldn't leave with a clear head not knowing if there was something wrong. I called my vet and they couldn't get me in for a week. I called Park Animal Hospital and they said I could do a walk-in, but they didnt know how long I would have to wait. I spoke with Heather, who was very sweet and helpful. I only had to wait for 45 minutes. Dr. Park was kind and listened to my concerns. They did a blood work-up, she is 18 and has kidney disease, but she said that everything looked really good for her age and she put her on a probiotic. It has worked wonders, no more diarrhea and she is back to her old self again. Thank you Dr. Park and Heather and the entire Park Animal Hospital. You are now my go to for any of my kitties needs.

Fantastic experience: We had an urgent situation with our senior cat and Park Animal Hospital was responsive, helped us out, listened to our concerns, were able to get test results back quickly and most importantly were compassionate throughout the entire process. You could tell they were busy simply by the number of vehicles in the parking lot (COVID procedures) but we never felt rushed or that they were unavailable. We would highly recommend Park Animal Hospital to any one looking for quality care of their pet(s).

Negative experience: This poor review is in response to how I was treated by the office staff, not the doctors. When my cat passed away, we had her paw print created, It was delivered to Park Animal Hospital, and my husband was told that they had it available for pick up. When I tried to pick it up, they said they never received it. We went back and forth a few times. The last time I called, the woman I spoke with refused to look around the office for it, she insisted again they had never received it, showed zero sensitivity to the fact that this was all we had left of our 4 y/o cat who passed away unexpectedly. When I got frustrated (no yelling was involved), she was rude and unkind. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused to let me speak to anyone else and then hung up on me. I couldn't believe that in the midst of my grief, I was treated so unkindly. I would not recommend this hospital until they address how their front office staff treats their clients.

Negative experience: They cannot honor a simple appointment. There lack of attentiveness has not only inconvenienced my family multiple times but has hurt my dog's health. The protocols they have recommended and have done for my dog have not worked and they continue to push the same medicine. Would not recommend them at all.

Fantastic experience: We came to Park Animal Hospital because a friend recommended them to us when we moved back to Simi. I then found out another fur-mommy I’m close to brings her babies here as well. That’s all I needed. Sadly we’ve never been inside due to COVID so I can only speak to what I’ve experienced during COVID. That being said, they are organized. Instructions are clear. They are great at keeping appointment times and they explain everything, every step of the way. I cannot recommend Park Animal Hospital highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I Posted a negative review a week ago and would like to update. Unfortunately our Best Friend "Molly" of almost 10 years past away yesterday. I said I would not go to Park Animal Hospital again, but they were the closest to us and my dog is more important than my ego. They were very professional and caring to the very end of our Molly's great life. I cannot say enough how Dr. Lucy and staff handled her last moments of here life, with the utmost care and sympathy. We wish we could have Molly here with us today, but I needed to let others know about my experience. Life's to short and dogs lives even shorter! So not fair!

Fantastic experience: We love the whole team at Park Animal Hospital! We have bringing our cat Neko (and now Puppy Groot) for probably 7-8 years, and every experience has been warm. Fantastic experience: Park Animal Hospital was so great to my family and our new member Bruno! They were out to greet us at our car within seconds, kind handling Bruno. Couldn't say enough great things about the Doctor who spent her time explaining any concerns we had, was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Fantastic experience: My vet and the staff really care about the animals (& us, the owners). Even my cat doesn't freak out when i pack him into his carrier for a vet visit. Dr. Park is gentle and thoughtful in her treatment so i know we are taking the best option for the situation.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our Fur Babies to Park Animal Hospital for MANY years. The Staff is very sympathetic & understanding. No matter what situation you are in, they will do their VERY BEST to accommodate you & your Fur Babies. They are so professional & full of Love & Support when you have to make that very tough decision... We had to say Goodbye to our 3 legged, Lab/Pointer/ Great Dane last October. She had a VERY happy, healthy & fun filled 16 Years with us; When it came to that time, the Veterinarian that came into the room(I, unfortunately forgot her name), stayed with us the entire time & was even sitting on the floor petting our pooch. The ENTIRE Staff are always kind & patient. As for Today's visit(8/5/2020), Our chihuahua mix had been sick & even though we weren't allowed inside(because of the COVID-19), we felt very secure in handing her off to to get checked out by one of their AMAZING Veterinarian(this time, it was Dr. Kang), She was incredibly nice, informative, caring & she didn't start any treatment until she talked to us, explained everything that she recommended & she wasn't pushy in any way, shape or form.! Bottom line(after writing a mini novel), we would NEVER, EVER take any of our Fur Babies to any other Veterinarian. WE LOVE PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have ever gone to Park Animal Hospital. The office is very organized. All the techs were very patient and nice. When it was time to go over what was needed for my dog Smokey the nice young lady was very thorough and took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had. She put my mind at ease. I feel confident that Smokey is getting the best care needed. I’m definitely taking him back and would refer any friends and family to Park Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: The team is amazing, taking the time to understand the needs of my dog. Great experience for my dog and me!!! Today we had to visit PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL, as always Dr Cohne was amazing, giving Sella the diagnosis and the medication that would best work for her. Then explaining the reason for this choice and being patient with my dog. This is the reason I choose to take my pet to this veterinary. Great job from all!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my pets to Park Animal for years. I always feel confident with the treatment of my pets. They are all passionate about treating my pet well. I had to do a walk in yesterday and again my Dakota received the best care. And even though it was a priority that she was seen yesterday and I was a walk in they were so professional. They took care of her and followed up with a phone call this morning to see how she was doing. I will never go to another vet. Thank Park Animal for such great care.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get a same day appointment and didn't have to wait very long. they were very responsive and kind when I got there and very clear on what they were doing. Just a few minutes after I checked in (this is during Covid) the doctor called me and was very thorough and did not rush our time. I felt like she really listened and was very personable. The fees were normal. I appreciated her plan for follow up as well.

Negative experience: We have loved Park Animal Hospital since Dr. Hanna was on Los Angeles Avenue. We have been clients for the past 10 years. We have nothing but praise for Dr Hanna & his staff through the years. This year, however, something has changed as Dr Hanna is no longer seeing patients, they no longer have the boarding facilities and you can no longer get appointments for allergy shots without having to wait a month for a technician! This is only the beginning! They have become a mill instead of the personal service of a smaller clinic we so came to love. The personal attention and friendliness of the staff and doctors is a thing of the past. We are sad to have to say good-bye to what was as it has come and gone. We were with Dr Rabner until she sold the business and it became a mill and then found Dr Hanna and now it seems the same thing is happening all over again! Just heart broken again with Simi Valley vets!

Fantastic experience: This is a great vet. Our rescue husky has had some accidents since we got her 8 months ago including needing emergency surgery. They have taken such good care of her. The quality of service is exceptional. They are super busy but are always able to fit in appointments that work with us and our busy schedule. We really appreciate the great care they have for our dog.

Fantastic experience: I've taken my cat to Park Animal Hospital twice in the last two weeks--once for a UTI, the second for vomiting. In both cases I came as a walk-in. In both cases I found the arrangements for COVID-19 to be efficient and well-thought out, with minimum waiting times and maximum security. I spoke both times to the same veterinarian and she was kind, helpful, and explained things fully, with all questions answered. The prices are fair and presented in an a la carte fashion. My cat is now in excellent condition and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to bring her back to Park Animal Hospital. My brief experiences there tell me that they not only treat the animals with care and consideration, but also their human partners.

Fantastic experience: I had an urgent issue with my dog Chewie and was very nervous about his condition. Due to the current health crisis and inability to go in and meet the doctor like under normal circumstances I had to do my visit over the phone while my dog was inside. Even under these conditions I felt very connected to her. She was compassionate and thoroughly explained my dogs options to me. Also my dog was very comfortable and went right into Maria‘s arms without any fear. I want to send a huge thank you to Dr. Vigue and Maria for taking such good care of my fur baby. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: They've taken very good care of us here. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to one of our 9 year old cat. But the Doctors gave us every option, communicated well what was going on and what could be done. They were also very considerate of the fact that we are on a budget and couldn't spend on every treatment that may have been a long shot. We have already brought our other cat in for some help and they continue to be excellent.

Fantastic experience: Park Animal Hospital is above and beyond the best Veterinarian's office I have experienced in my several decades of being a dog owner. They make me feel safe and secure with my (sometimes) excitable large dogs. Wait times are short, their Vet's & Tech's are compassionate, and really do genuinely care about the animals they care for. Dr Lucy Cohen is a dream come true for me and my family, and especially my dogs. She is so clear and concise, with such a gentle hand. She has always made me & more importantly, my dogs, feel comfortable when my they aren't feeling so well. I am so glad I discovered Park Animal Hospital. Never leave me! <3

Fantastic experience: I meant to do a review back in May when we lost our Golden Retriever of 14 years. Dr. Hannah has been our vet for several years and we love him!! Dr. Kane and the entire staff were so delicate and caring with us on the day we had to say our goodbyes. I went in today with our foster Luna due to an eye issue. We met with Dr. Gerster who was so sweet and knowledgeable!! Luna is super shy and nervous and the staff was wonderful in making her feel safe. Thank you Kelly and Kimberly for being so kind and thorough with explaining everything!!! Luna is in good hands just as our sweet Belle always was!

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I made the switch to this vet. Vet and Staff are super friendly and really care about your pets. Also anytime I make an appointment they accommodate me with an appointment that fits "my" schedule. I also love that I can schedule appointments via email, it makes it super easy for me since I sometimes can't make phone call during business hours to schedule an appointment. UPDATE: After all the years I'm still extremely happy with Park Animal Hospital. Only Vet I trust my super anxious dog with.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Park Animal for about 10 years. Dr. Hannah has been amazing and now the added doctor’s has been very nice. They are always able to fit me in and are very helpful. I have a difficult cat and they make sure to accommodate her special needs when she has to go in. They are expensive, but the service and care you receive is worth it. The boarding is also a added service that is great. All around the best place to go. They are always super busy, so best if you make an appointment.

Positive experience: Very clean & nice doctors. However, I took my dog in yesterday and spent quite a bit of money. Prior to my visit I had received a coupon for $25 off in my email but didn't have it when I checked out. I asked if they could honor the coupon since it was the same day but they declined. I have been a loyal customer for years and the fact that they couldn't honor it especially during this holiday season makes me want to search for another place to service my pet.

Fantastic experience: Amazing with our dog! She is very shy with new people but the veterinarian took his time, gave her plenty of treats while talking to us (we brought treats) and did not try to rush us or our dog. We switched due to friends recommending them and we will be recommending them to others looking for a new vet.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Park Animal Hospital are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. You can request appointments on line and they will respond quickly. They are now open Saturdays and Sundays which is very convenient for people who work Mon-Fri. The fees on the weekends are the same as during the week and the vets are professional and caring. They listen to what you say and ask appropriate questions to learn all they can about the pet they are seeing. The appointments are almost always on time unless there has been an emergency. The fees are reasonable and the care is excellent!!!

Fantastic experience: A little pricey but 100% worth the money. Great service every time and my dog loves going there. Getting simple stuff done takes no time at all. They took her back for some shots and nail trimming and she was returned to us within five minutes with a smile on her face and a wagging tail. They're all very knowledgeable and truly love pets. Best bet I've taken any of my dogs too. We also had her spay surgery done here and they did an amazing job. It's been about a month and you can barely even see a scar. Looks more like she had a scratch instead of an open incision. It's best to make an appointment well in advance as they can be pretty busy but I also did a walk-in appointment first thing in the morning about a week ago on a Saturday and was scene within the hour. Can't recommend them enough. We even drive from Valley Village out to Simi and it's well worth the effort.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat there for the first time since it reopened. I had taken her to an emergency clinic and got no answers as to what was wrong with her. Dr. Cohen was very patient and gentle with Kitty. A bad experience at another clinic left her terrified to go to the vet. She was treated so kindly that she relaxed enough to get a couple of BP tests done. The tech that helped her was also very gentle and patient with her. The ladies that checked me in and out were both warm and friendly. What a breath of fresh air to go there. Will be taking my cats there from now on.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff here is super compassionate, and very friendly. Unfortunately, we had to come here a few weeks ago to put down one of our kitties. They have a special room for this purpose, and one of the nice things about it is that it has a separate exit, so you can leave the building without having to go through the lobby and go past other people. It's a small thing, but it makes a difficult time just a little bit easier. The prices are average, pet services are not cheap. That being said, all of their vets and assistance our friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, and seem to take a fairly conservative approach. My wife and I highly recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: Just took my two dachshunds to see Dr. Hanna for a checkup. He spent a good amount of time with us and listened to any questions and concerns I had. Kaytlin and Tiffany were gentle and caring with my nervous dogs in helping and getting tests needed. Everyone is great here including front office staff. Awesome!

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Hanna and Dr. Rasmussen, who are both really great doctors. They are so loving to my dogs and cats. I've seen Dr. Hanna for many years and he's always very caring and gives his full attention to my babies. He even made a tough diagnosis for one of my rescues after the shelter had told me she had a very expensive disease which required very expensive surgery. Dr Hanna saved me thousands! That dog is doing great now, though she is very afraid of vets (since being at the shelter). I took her in recently and we saw Dr Rasmussen when Hanna wasn't available. She was so patient with her and showed so much love that they didn't have to use a muzzle. (She snaps out of fear bc she had bad experiences at shelter vet. She has never actually bitten.) The next time we went, the vet was kind, but immediately put the muzzle on due to the warning. That's totally fair, but I feel Dr Rasmussen went above and beyond.
