Fantastic experience: I am very, very, happ with Spay Memphis and the way that they took care of my Chloe. I took her on Thursday Nov. 6th to be spayed and I was a little anxious about it, but knew I was doing the right thing by her. I told the technician that came to take her back when she was ready that my anxiety was through the roof. They said everything is gonna be ok and we'll text you when she's ready. They texted me a 1:30 and said she did good and I could come pick her up. She was very happy to see me, her little tail was wagging. They made everything quick and easy at check-in. I will recommend Spay Memphis to anyone looking to get their pet fixed. Thank y'all for taking such good care of my baby!

Fantastic experience: Spay Memphis provides such an amazing service to our community! Not only do they offer low cost spay/neuter surgeries and basic medical care, they also make it possible to get community cats fixed at a reasonable price. Everybody there is so friendly and clearly love what they do. I do wish they had appointments on weekends but that's easy enough to work around.

Positive experience: Inexpensive spay and neuter for dogs and cats. A little terse at the front desk, but understandable with the volume of services. It does smell strongly, but again, understandable with the services provided.

Negative experience: They perform surgery on cats before scanning to see if they have a microchip.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my fair share of places who have fixed my babies. They’ve all been super expensive and then didn’t even take care of them right! But not here. Not only was it affordable and only $120 for TWO cats of mine. They were also all extremely nice and sweet to my babies. And they were treating with so much care. I will be telling everyone about this place. Thank you to everyone who took care of my sweet Gizmo and Java Chip today!!

Negative experience: My cat was already neutered and microchipped. He was brought in by a neighbor because he somehow got out of my house. Before they checked him for a microchip, they sedated my cat and clipped off part of this ear. Only after that did they realize he was microchipped and contacted me. They performed surgery on my cat without my consent and did not respect the microchip information. I am absolutely furious they did this to our baby.

Fantastic experience: Spay Memphis is life saver for animals. Did you know your pets live longer after being spayed/neutered? We have been able to get over 10 cats fixed. This helps keep down the number of feral/homeless cats. These cats won’t suffer having litter and litter their whole lives. It lessens the suffering of unwanted kittens who die of starvation or illness. Spay Memphis at low cost will spay/neuter your pets, saving you hundreds of dollars. They take good care through the process, we have never had any complications from surgery. Staff is friendly and professional and really care about animals. If you are able they take public donations to ensure people who can’t afford spay/neuter can still care for their animals. Check their website for information. I can’t say enough about how much we appreciate their services. Thank you Spay Memphis for saving the lives of our pets and the feral population .

I'm so glad I chose this place for the procedure. After the surgery, they provided all the necessary information and medication to ensure a smooth recovery. The pricing for spay/neuter services is reasonable, and the professionalism of the staff is absolutely top-notch—5/5 without a doubt!

Fantastic experience: If you don't want to pay your veterinary hundreds of dollars to have your pets spayed, this is $100 the place to go. Cats are less than $70, and dogs are $100 or less depending on size. You can also get certain shots done if they are getting spayed. Appointments Only. Staff is really helpful and friendly. They have taken great care of my pets all surgeries successful.

Fantastic experience: Recently i got my cat neutered here and he had a heart attack, but they resuscitated him and are trying their utmost to help him, I was mad at first but I see that they're actually trying, and that they truly care about animals, thank you for actually trying.

Fantastic experience: This is a GREAT place for pet services. All the staff I came in contact with were professional, knowledgeable, caring. Spay Memphis is VERY DIRECT with website instructions. It’s almost offensive. It’s like, this is what you do, don’t be phoning us, because, this is what you do. After you complete online information, you began to have thoughts about if you completed information properly. BECAUSE, Spay Memphis advises you several times during information gathering that any information not given or if something changes, you may FORFEIT your appt. etc. I DO RECOMMEND SPAY MEMPHIS.

Negative experience: Very upset they only allow 1 cat per trap and told her ok my husband can sign other one and then she said per car now ! How are we ever going to control the population with feral if they change the policy.

You trap a cat you’ll never get back in a trap waist time being in your lot at 7:30 as marked on the site Only to find out you have to be the 1 of only 5 people to get in . How the hell you gonna call yourself a spay shelter with 5 a day . I’m so aggravated.

I brought my outdoor cat in to get TNR’d and she was carrying too many kittens and unfortunately she had internal bleeding and lost too much blood. Spay memphis stayed past closing just so me and my partner could say our goodbyes and I appreciate it so much. Fantastic experience: Very clean office, very quick, and the lady who took care of our dogs was absolutely amazing (and had really cool lashes!). The folks at reception were also great and friendly! It's the lowest cost vaccines in the area with absolutely no drop in quality from going to an expensive vet clinic. All around wonderful place; I can't believe we didn't use the services here earlier.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service - I dropped off my cat Felix (aka Kitty Mane) to be neutered, and they were very accommodating. There was no issue with scheduling his appointment, and the vet tech and front desk workers were very pleasant to speak with when I came to pick him up. Social distancing and use of face masks were observed. I would highly recommend coming here, especially if you are involved with Trap-Neuter-Release, as the prices are very reasonable.

Positive experience: The did a great job spaying our kitten, but they trimmed the fur around her face and ears without asking us first. We liked her cute round face from her baby fur. She wasn’t matted or tangled, so there was absolutely no reason for that. Kinda frustrating.

Negative experience: Could not make appointment, there was a 6month waiting list. Took my fur baby dog somewhere else. I cannot give star rating to a place I have never been to.

Negative experience: Killed our foster dog today during a routine procedure. Rude staff and poor people and communication skills. Vet seemed to have little experience post graduation and was rude and argumentative. I will never use or recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My sweet cat, Kevin, yesterday 05/19/2023, went in to be neutered and the vet noticed he had a mass on him and immediately had her staff call me to tell me and we decided to test him on the spot for cancer snd FHIV. it turned out he was experiencing aggressive cancer. There was nothing any of us could do as his tumor was too large and had attached itself to too much in his little body. I had to make the decision right then to let him rest and be at peace. Thank you to the staff for not ignoring it and checking on my baby and keeping me updated. I am sad to say he has passed away as of approx. 1:40pm yesterday but the staff gave him so much love and kept him stable for us to come say goodbye. I am so glad that Kevin was surrounded by so many sweet, generous people in his final time here with us. Thank y’all, so much again. A special thank you to I believe her name was Ashley, for calling me every step of his diagnosis and being so personable and having the strength to give such heart breaking news.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. They have spayed and neutered all 3 of my cats and my dog. They take really good care of your pets. They make sure that your pets are comfortable and relaxed. The prices here are so low. Every other place charged in the hundreds. This place never went over a $100. This is definitely the place you should take you fury babies.

Fantastic experience: The check in process was quick and easy. Our little Kashew happily went with the personable and pleasant employee. We got a call way sooner than we expected that we could pick him up at 12. That helped us beat the traffic and continue on with our day. Kashew was still a little woozy from the surgery but he was in perfect health when we got him. The price point of the surgery helps to make neutering far less of an economic burden. We are so appreciative!

Fantastic experience: Great A lot of people don't know You can schedule to give your pets shots flea treatments and a lot more services do your neighborhood some good bring in a stray cat and have them spayed or neutered Some of my appointments have been two week went maybe longer depends But I've never had any issues with appointments or schedules

Fantastic experience: Very professional! Got my cat spayed a few days ago and everything went great!!! The surgery itself was at no cost and it only cost me $50 to get her microchip, 1 year rabies vaccine, to get her tested for FeLV/FIV, the FVRCCP vaccine nail trim, and 1 month flea treatment. The invoice below isn't broken down for what I paid for, but it was optional to get other things done for my fur baby other than the spay itself. 10/10 would recommend!! Thanks guys! See ya next month for my K9 fur baby!!

Negative experience: I don't know how to feel, When I brung my cats in the procedure went well but 11/23 my dog came in and 11/26 at 4 AM she was dead.

Negative experience: I've had a positive experience with them in the past but the most recent one about a month ago was kind of yikes. Brought a new rescue in after waiting for a appointment which was a month out. The vet noticed "signs of diarrhea" and automatically deemed the pup fatality sick with some random virus or disease. Was then told he could die. Only to say we should take him to a full service vet for tests. After being told by my spouse that he was at a full service vet a month prior and all the test results were negative and receive various vaccinations. The worst part is that we were still charged a portion of the money paid for the services and they didn't bother to offer a reschedule date after waiting over a month for this appointment.

Fantastic experience: First I would like to say that I think they are really cheap in today's economy we need that we went to three or four different places and they wanted three to $500 thank God we got this place no rip off here

Negative experience: I took my 3 going on 4 year old cat here to be spayed about 3 months ago and she is now blind. I am aware that this is one of the more severe side effects of common anesthetics used when spaying a cat. However as someone who has worked at a vets office and groomed dogs for 7 years, I constantly got the feeling the they were not in control or confident in what they were saying or doing. More importantly My Cat was in their care for an entire month because of the surgery not going well which was never fully or properly explained. During that entire time the Vet Tech nor any third party I talked to, informed me that my cat was now 100% blind. (I guess they didn’t think it was important) However it took me a few days to realize my cat wouldn’t eat or drink because she was blind. The story does continue and get worse from here however I would like to leave it at this. In conclusion my cat who is now four was born under my bed, from the start she was always independent and preferred to play with the dogs instead of the cats. I feel as though she was treated like a dollar sign. I can’t help but think did they handled her surgery just this carelessly as they handled me. I feel guilty maybe this whole thing could’ve been avoided if I just chose different.

Negative experience: Need to reschedule your appointment, don't leave a voicemail... They'll say they didn't receive one to keep your deposit..also good luck getting them to answer the phone..

Negative experience: They are having phone issues. If you need to cancel your appointment and leave a voicemail, I wouldn't.. I called in the morning and left one and I called at 3pm and left one. They said they didn't get the voicemail and we aren't getting our deposit back. We literally are at the hospital with a family emergency and they acknowledged that they are having phone issues but don't care that I left a voicemail.
