Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place they take great care of my pets.

Fantastic experience: Vondra and his team have taken amazing care of all of our pets over the years. They act fast and genuinely love and care about each animal they meet. They have gone above and beyond to assist us multiple times with severe situations, one saving our cats life. We live a decent ways away and will still continue to drive however far we must to see Vondra and his team specifically.

The numerous times I called crying right after Ryker would have a seizure and you would calm me down and walk me thru what to do next (until we got him on his meds). Fantastic experience: I have an American Bully (or Pitbull), and this breed is often discriminated against...not at Vondra. They treated my boy with the utmost kindness and care. They were very good to him, and I highly recommend them for all animals but especially for your baby bullies.

Fantastic experience: Took a grand dog here today. Loved the "meet in the parking lot" plan. Also liked that they worked her in after the drop off for pickup later in the day. When I came for her, they came out, asked who I was picking up, went and got her, and included a complete writeup of what they did including an itemized receipt. I don't have pets any longer but liked what I experienced today.

Fantastic experience: I brought Minxie here for her first checkup, and both the doctor and the staff were amazing! Dr Jordan gave her a thorough exam and gave her exactly what she was needing. They listen to all that you say and address all of your concerns. I look forward to future visits.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with my dog and the other vet I called was rude and short answered with me because I wasn't a client there so I called vondra and the staff there are always informative Express Care and they actually listen to you and if they can't help you they give you other resources and point you in a direction that might be able to help I appreciate the staff there and the vet there they always care I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was there to pick up my friend's dog while she was out of town. The staff member said they were scrambling a bit because the power was out due to a storm, but even so they helped me out super quickly and were able to get my friend's dog checked out without a hitch. The staff member even helped me get the dog into my car when he was a little bit hesitant to get in a new vehicle.

Fantastic experience: Our dog was having trouble with what we thought was reverse sneeze, and thought she was having trouble breathing. We brought her to the clinic without an appointment as we were scared for our little girl. They got us right in and seen within a few minutes. As it turned out, she has an enlarged heart that was causing most of her issues. We would not have known that had Dr. Loren not done X-rays on her. Our vet and his assistant were wonderful, and we appreciate them taking care of our Gracie, and putting our minds at ease.

Fantastic experience: Lincoln doesn't have a vet who specializes in bulldogs. With the knowledge that Dr. Vondra has as a veterinarian i trust him with my Diezel. I feel like Dr. Vondra is honest about his decisions and takes my feelings into consideration. Dr. Vondra isn't pushy about trying to get money from you. He explains what needs to be done and you get to decide. We love Vonda Veterinarian!!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my 2 large dogs to this vet, and recently took my cats and smaller older dog here. The vet is great about listening to your concerns and asking follow up questions. They are fast and thorough. With 5 pets and a senior dog I go to the vet often and every experience has been great!

Fantastic experience: I was initially referred here by a friend, and as soon as I first became a client quite a few years ago I immediately started referring others as well. Wouldn't want to go elsewhere, and I super appreciate how much all employees at Vondra seem to love animals. I always know my questions will be answered, and I appreciate the doctors' thoroughness in answering my questions and explaining procedures. The invoices are easy to understand, the visits are seamless, and the vet tech assistants are very helpful. Onyx's recent procedure and recovery has gone very well, I'm so glad.

Negative experience: Edited and updated review. The practice is hit and miss with the quality of care. Some of the help is not good with animals, impatient and cannot read obvious body language. We have done a lot of positive reinforcement to be happy at the vet and not scared. They are usually kind to us, accomodating to make our dog comfortable and relaxed. Today they were not. The technicians today completely undid years of training by scaring our dog during a routine visit. They cornered her and didn't see the clear signs that she was distressed and uncomfortable with the way they were. They were unfriendly and grumpy today, pulled the leash away from the owner, and generally had an air or disrespect or disdain for us as customers today. We have gone to this vet for years, but I don't think we will be returning after the experience today. It is disappointing. Old: They helped put to rest my parents almost 18 year old shih tzu. Dr vondra had a tear in his eye, for the experience as sad as it was, it was a pleasant one.

Fantastic experience: Vondra veterinary clinic was amazing! Took my new bulldog Charlie there and they were very good with him.. staff and vets are very knowledgeable, and super nice and friendly. Great pricing too! I would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Let me start by saying I have been going to Vondra since 2008. Have never had any issues. Always kind and answers all questions I had. Recently we had scheduled an appointment for our saint bernard for a nail she had ripped off while playing. Called in a Saturday morning and was told the soonest they had was Tuesday January 21, 4pm. I said that works, as the nail wasn't bleeding or showing any issues. My husband left work early to take her in. The staff comes out and says they do not have her down for Tuesday, But have her down for Thursday at 430. Mind you, I had a confirmation email saying Tuesday January 21 at 4pm. Staff was persistent that nope, it was scheduled for Thursday. We never received a call/email/text confirmation for Thursday. Understanding that they were busy and couldnt squeeze us in, my husband left. So I called to get some sort of resolution and spoke with Tyson. Not once in the call did I receive an apology for the mishap or any kind of explanation. He continued to say well idk what you want me to do. I am on no way upset with the vets at the clinic. Have always had great experience with them. But as their clinic grows, their staff gets more rude. This was not the first rude staff experience. But after that we have since switched to a different vet in town. Wasted time and money since my husband took off early for the confirmed appointment.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Vondra is always amazing. My families' Mini Dachshund is always in the best hands there & has been visiting Vondra since birth 6 years ago! They fit him in recently when he hurt his leg/back and provided thorough, quick, and detailed care. Not only do they always do great with him for these types of visits, but he has boarded there and loves that too. Staff explains everything, and never seems put off by our extra questions (My wife is a nervous dog mom). To top it all off, they are super reasonable with their pricing. Which is an added bonus when you get such amazing care. We recommend Vondra to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I go to vondra because I feel it's a better atmosphere better service in my opinion then most of the others that I've been to. The prices you cannot beat. For example I was going to thrive affordable veterinarian clinic. It's an incorporated clinic now . Had an emergency with Layla my Rottweiler. Ended up going to thrive because at the time I needed a financial assistance from cause for pause. At the time they were accepting their help to pay low income people vet bill for those who needed it. After that was all over. Got a notification Layla needed a shot. Went back to thrive affordable veterinarian clinic to get the shot, And what it would cost? They actually told me that I had to get another physical which was over $50 before I can get the shot for Layla. Even though she had been seen less than 2 months prior. Not sure why they were going to charge me $200 for? So I went back to vondra veterinary clinic. They end up charging me just $90 for the same service that thrive affordable veterinarian services wanted to charge me for that service. . For that reason. I will continue to go to laundry veterinary clinic

Positive experience: I've been going here for about 15 years for my first bulldog & now my second one. They are one of the best vet clinics in town. They always get him in within 24 hours. Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I leave a message it takes awhile for them to call back.

Fantastic experience: As far as I’m concerned, there is absolutely NO veterinary clinic better in Lincoln, NE. This is a FULL SERVICE veterinary clinic, and the service is EXCEPTIONAL, not to mention they are more reasonably priced than anywhere I’ve found. They are also quite sensible when it comes to testing and labs, and recommend ONLY the tests and labs that make sense, they don’t order everything under the sun just to make more money. My preference is to see Dr. Jeremiah Vondra, DVM, himself, as I do not believe there is a more intelligent, caring or empathetic person available anywhere, and my pets deserve the BEST! I know that this clinic is thriving and is not always accepting new clients, so if you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to get your foot in the door here, TAKE IT!!! I also know that my boxer, Crush, would be super pissed if I didn’t mention his love for his favorite veterinary technician, Tyson. ♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our pets to Vondra for 14 years. They have always delivered the best care until the very end of our pets lives. When the day came to say goodbye to our family member Dr Vondra was there every step of the way. He gives the best advice and truly does what’s best for your pet. Although the decision to let go it extremely painful the staff were so helpful and caring. I can’t thank them enough for being there for our family. Although today we leave there heartbroken and with one less family member we will be back.

Negative experience: During Covid they started doing drive ups no biggie, pull up drop your dog and they take care of it. You wait in the car, but something seemed off about this place. The last time I took my dog in I called and asked that I wanted to come in, and the reception lady got all stuck up about it. She said “it’s not necessary” but I insisted. When I got there the gentleman that came up to my car door said “wait I’ll let them know your coming in” why, idk? Anyhow, I go in there and all staff is standing in the front door just starring at my two dogs and me. Awkward! They just pointed and told me to go wait in the room straight ahead so I did, and the gentlemen that came up to my car door, came in room. But it seemed like he had switched up his attitude. He was rude af he took the leash of my hand and started man handling my dog, and my dog got scared and ran to corner where he was shaking. I instantly told him to “stop what are you doing” that’s when I knew this place was not it! Eventually the vet lady came in but she was in a mood as well. Didn’t answer any of questions I had, and everything she said was with an attitude. This PLACE IS NOT IT PEOPLE! My lady keeps insisting we go back cause there “good”. Personally me I’m not going back where people are rude. I was told by another person to go in cause he had the same experience, but I wanted to witness for myself cause I trusted these vets at the beginning when they did drop offs. Super disappointed on how they treat animals and people there! DONT LET YOUR ANIMAL ALONE IN THERE

Fantastic experience: Nice place, very helpful people, they come out to your vehicle and pick up your pet then return your pet to the vehicle when they're done. It works out very nice not having to control your pet around other pets in a small waiting room. They take care of everything from emergency care to nail trimming and bathing. Always call ahead first. will continue to go for years to come with all of our pets

Negative experience: Prices are generally fair and office staff is generally personable...the docs are friendly as well. But it's annoying when every single time you call they answer the phone by immediately asking if they can put you on hold, and the whole pretending like COVID is still a thing with forced curbside check-in is major unreasonably stupid. Bottom line is they'll get the job done, but there's better options out there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vondra has been taking care of my little Coco for 16 years since she was a puppy. His compassion, kindness and calm energy are unmatched. He has a special gift and I am so grateful to him and his practice, for their care and immense compassion. Exceptional care of our pets which are part of our family. Thank you, Dr. Vondra.

Fantastic experience: I love Vondra! We have taken both dogs there for years now. They have the MOST caring staff and fair prices. We had a terrible event happen with one of our dogs recently, and Dr. Jordan did everything in his power to help her. Dr. Jordan made sure to call 2-3 times a day to give us updates on how she was doing and explain things thoroughly. Unfortunately, the circumstances weren’t in our favor and we ended up having to put her down. Dr. Jordan and the other staff were all so compassionate and walked us through the euthanasia process step by step. I have never been to a vet like Vondra that cared more about the animals/animal parents than a paycheck.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Curbside check in was quick and easy. They helped me bring in my 80+ pound dogs and got in and out fast. No complaints at all!

Negative experience: It was a very convenient location for me and they got me in right away. After the antibiotics ran out for my brand new pet ran out though, I was unable to reach them. They wouldn't call back and help get my pets health in order. Very unfortunate because my parents used this vet, but I did not have a great experience. Not recommended for house pets.

Negative experience: I have attempted to make a grooming appointment many times and I always get told the next available is 6 weeks out. When I call my dog needs to be groomed within the next week or 2 not 6 weeks out. I would think most people are calling for grooming sooner than that. They do a good job grooming but they certainly are not the only groomers in town. I will stop calling here for grooming.This used to be a well run facility. I’m not so sure anymore.

They also do an amazing job with grooming, I took my dog to PetSmart for several years and they always left my dogs hair choppy and uneven, so I decided to try Vondra Vet Clinc and they did so well!
