Fantastic experience: I have been using Silver Leaf Clinic for my two dogs for over 7 years, and the staff have always been amazing. Their prices are very reasonable, and they truly care about the pets they treat. I recently moved to a different town, but if I ever move back to Moore, I will definitely use this clinic again. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I have previously worked as a veterinary practice manager for 17 years and I’m very familiar with how things work in clinic. I called ahead to let them know that our dog had passed away overnight so we would be bringing in a DOA for non private cremation depending on their price. The receptionist quoted me $75 for communal cremation after finding out that we had a large German shepherd. We arrived and spoke to another receptionist who told us it would be $75 for communal cremation and asked if we were military in order to get their military discount. We are. Then she told us the price would be $95 due to a recent price increase. I told her that we were quoted the $75 over the phone and that was why we came here, and asked for her to see if they would be willing to honor the original amount quoted. That receptionist spoke with their office manager, Rachael, and said she wasn’t willing to do that because the prices are set. They then asked for us to pay in advance before driving around back to drop off our DOA pet (this is all very standard and was anticipated) but the reception stated that we needed to pay in advance because “these things can get very dramatic”. I found this very insensitive and unprofessional. We were greeted by office manager, Rachael, and another tech at the back door to unload our pup. I expressed my concerns to Rachael which seemed to fall on deaf ears. They didn’t offer us time to say goodbye and propped the gurney on an outdoor trash can when we asked if we could. No room was offered for a proper goodbye (it was raining outside). I went here because we had previously had a good relationship with the clinic based on my interactions with them while I worked in the veterinary community. I am whole- heartedly disappointed and extremely unsatisfied with how this interaction went. I hope that anyone who has a similar situation in the future sees this and chooses another clinic so their already traumatic experience isn’t worsened by improper information, last minute price increases, and insensitive verbiage during a difficult time.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing first experience at Silver Leaf Animal Hospital! We brought in two of our large rescue dogs for their initial intake appointment, and from the moment we walked in, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Both dogs absolutely loved everyone they met — which says a lot! The vets and staff were incredibly thorough, took their time to answer all our questions, and made sure our pups felt comfortable. We left feeling confident in our dogs’ care and really appreciated the fair pricing too. Highly recommend Silver Leaf to anyone looking for compassionate and professional veterinary care!

Fantastic experience: Where I normally go doesn't have a doctor right now. They suggested Silver Leaf. My baby is a service dog so very upset when she had blood in her urine, really like others she's family. They got her in within hour and the girls were so very sweet with Bella. Sat on floor and gave lots of love through all the testing. When I left with the news scary but they put me at ease, told me what to do, and sent me with what's needed for her to get better. I go back in a month and will be going back to Silver Leaf

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my dogs to Dr Floyd for several years now. He’s a trustworthy and caring Dr. He gave me a whole extra year with my dying dog by just changing his diet. Other Vet just wanted to put him down. I will never forget that. I can’t stand for my dog (or any living being) to suffer. Dr Floyd and his team of Doctors and staff believe the same and have maintained a safe environment and the new place next door is gorgeous!!

Fantastic experience: I have regularly scheduled appointments every three weeks with groomer Kirsty. When dogs are due checkup or anything the front desk lets me know and they schedule vet appointments to coincide with grooming. I’ve never owned dogs that get happy and excited to go to a veterinary clinic. My two dogs do. From the ladies up front, to the groomer and vet, I am extremely happy with the service they provide. Me and my pooches highly recommend this place. I can’t imagine owning doodles without the amazing job Kirsty does in keeping my dogs beautiful.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! My sister and I brought her dog in for a recheck for an issue. And I talked about my puppy who gets super sick in the car ride to his vet and they seen him the same time as her dog and gave my puppy pills to take an hour before his vet drive since it a bit out. They even tried getting him to trust them but he's scared of new people but his normal vets atm. Thank you so much for seeing rolo and Tina I recommend this place if anyone needs a vet! I didnt get a picture of him there but tina but this is a picture when we got home from the vet and the storehe was super calm and slept most of the time

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my animals to silverleaf for close to 10 years and everyone is so caring and loving with my cats and dogs. I couldn't see myself going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Floyd was recommended by a friend and we love this place! Most recently, our boy had a tooth extraction and a tooth cleaning. We dropped him off just before 8 am and picked him up around 3. We were given high and low estimates before the procedure, which we appreciated! When we picked up our boy he was doing quite well! Everyone there was friendly and respectful and took good care of him! We have appreciated all the care and communication at each visit we’ve had!

Negative experience: Took my Springer spaniel in to be groomed. I asked the day before if I would be able to pick her up around noon. I had other obligations at 1:00. The lady who answered the phone said she would try. I took my dog in around 8:00. I called at 12:30 and the groomer said she was on the dryer. So at 1:20 I called again, the groomer said she would be ready in about an hour. So at 2:30 I showed up and she was ready. She looked good. I’m very disappointed about this appointment. I had to cancel where I was supposed to be at 1:00. I canceled my other dogs grooming appointment. I won’t be going back. 6 1/2 hours is too long to wait, and very hard on my dog.

Dr Braden and the entire staff were very informative and helpful, unfortunately we exhausted all measures and had to give our Baby her wings. They made the process as painless as possible and took time, care and compassion with us and Baby. I thank them from the bottom of my heavy heart. 10 STARS !

Negative experience: I have been bringing my animals to Dr Floyd for close to or over 15 years. I brought two cats in to get checked. Marble was brought in to see Dr Palacio because of an eye lesion that has gotten worse over months time. Dr Floyd had said it looked like a scratch the last visit. This new visit Dr Palacio said possible carcinoma. I said it has gotten worse and that originally Dr Floyd said it looked like a scratch. It is much worse now so I thought it was more like a tumor. She went in the back to check the notes. She came back in the room to let me know his note also stated it was a tumor from the previous visit and not a scratch. She was very condescending and rude. I just wanted the lesion looked at again. I was making a statement not trying to bad mouth Dr Floyd. She seemed offended. The last visit with Dr Floyd I brought both of my cats in Marble and Special. Special (RIP) DID have a lump which he said he wanted it biopsied but I already knew from previous biopsy she had cancer so I declined. The note she referred to is either about Special or someone mixed up my cats info on the note from the previous visit. Before she left the room she made it a point to let me know it has been 8 Months instead of 4 months (which I thought) from the last visit. It was so unnecessary. It was like she just wanted to take another jab at me. I left feeling very angry and insulted. She did not examine either of my cats in the room with me which was a first. I thought it was very strange. I will never take my animals back there.

Positive experience: The owner took the time to explain all my options, make sure I understood what was necessary, vs optional or a waste of time and money. The prices are better than down the street. I wish they had more rooms, but if this is what it takes to keep the prices lower, it's a good trade off. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. It's clear how much they care for animals.

I personally was nervous in the beginning as far as what place would be the right place for Autumn. Fantastic experience: I have had several negative run ins with vets which has destroyed my trust with a lot of vets and cringe when they want to remove them from the room, I have even been in a position where I could have placed a complaint with the veterinary board for going against the veterinary practice act, but I haven't had any issues with the vets and staff here. I took in a litter of kittens that were abandoned, and sick, and the vets here were the only ones that were interested in helping me, and them, and as a result only 1 out of 5 survived. The staff is friendly and amazing and I wish I found them sooner.I am so thankful I found a wonderful vet family that I feel safe taking my babies to. Thank you Silverleaf!!

Fantastic experience: We really like Dr. Floyd. We recently added a shelter dog, Holly, to our family. Our last trip was for Dr. Floyd to meet Holly and offer suggestions about her care. He told us she needed an additional shot that has recently been recommended for all dogs, and he offered advice about her teeth that had been damaged during her life before us. He always speaks from wisdom and experience, and we are thankful he cares for our dogs.

Negative experience: In terms of service and care, they were wonderful. They took excellent care of my cat and were very communicative and helpful. However when we paid, we used care credit because it was a hefty bill after a 3 day vet visit. We were told we were signed up for a 6 month deferred interest plan, and of course that sounded great so we went for it. Went to make a payment and realized we were being charged interest, called to ask and were told we were actually signed up for a 24 month low interest plan instead. Called the vet to ask and they confirmed it was actually 24 month low interest. I don’t understand why we were told one thing and ended up with another and having to pay more than we thought we would monthly. After a really great experience with everything else this was disappointing because there’s basically nothing we can do.

Fantastic experience: Silver Leaf animal hospital is like a second home to our family. My animals (two dogs) love visiting Silver Leaf because they have the friendliest staff of any vet clinic we've ever been to. I am hard to satisfy when it comes to the care of my fur babies, but over the last couple years, I have absolutely grown to trust every one of these individuals with the precious lives of my dogs. They all spoil Sable Blyss (the one that has to go the most) to the point that when I get up in the morning for work, she thinks I'm going to take her GO, which means go to the vet. She loves it! They have treated both my pets for everything from regular vaccinations, arthritis, ear infection and urinary infections to surgeries. Every visit is professionally handled and their compassion is top class. I highly recommend Silver Leaf. I have and will continue to pass this on to anyone looking for a great vet clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Floyd is always amazing with our Buddy dog! He genuinely cares about our boy, and Buddy can tell, he loves to see him. He answers any questions he can and he is honest about what he would do if it were his fur baby. When he wasn't sure about a question we asked he said, I will get back to you on that. He did some research and checked on some things and then got back to us with an answer. Anytime someone mentions needing to take their pet to see someone, I always highly recommend using him for any pet's needs.

Fantastic experience: What a GREAT staffed Vet office, From front staff to their vets I have ZERO complaints but LOTS of compliments. From my senior dog to our Guinea pigs we love having SL in our backyard. ❤️ I have never had a vet call multiple times after a surgery to check up on any pet let alone a guinea pig. Most vets want nothing to do with them after a surgery because they're a 50/50 survival rating. You can absolutely tell they care and take customer service SERIOUSLY. ❤️ Thank y'all for being so warm and welcoming.

Positive experience: LOVE the Dr. He’s very informative and caring. The techs were supposed to call after my baby’s procedure and they did not so I worried. Later, the Dr realized and called himself. Very impressed as I understand ppl and things can get busy. No shame on the techs, at all. They’re very loving.

It shows they care Set Pete up for teeth cleaning Asked that Dr take a look at a growth on his chest that seems to have just grown rapidly in the last month She removed it while he was still under for his cleaning instead of waiting to do later. That probably set her back on other surgeries she already had set up but I feel she put Pete's health 1st

Fantastic experience: Silverleaf is always going to be my go to vet. Dr. Floyd has been taking care of my pets for several years now and has always treated my kids with the utmost respect and compassion. He has helped us through everything from normal checkups, upset stomachs, a cancer diagnosis and end of life care, and recently helped us avoid arbitrarily putting another kid down because of an emergency vet's misdiagnosis and poor treatment. If you read no further reviews, know that he and his staff care and want to help your pet more than I've ever seen from a vet.
