Fantastic experience: Another great visit with the staff at 30th St Animal Hospital. This time I brought in a stray kitty. The staff were so good with her. Ariel went above and beyond keeping the kitty calm throughout the exam. They were quick and thorough and kept me informed every step of the process. Price was exceptionally reasonable. They even helped pick a name since we found out scrawny Bob was actually a girl! Love this group

Fantastic experience: I had another successful annual visit at 30th street animal hospital with my senior cat. We came from East side animal hospital that we had been with since my cat was a kitten. The staff at 30th street are professional, and caring and as a bonus staff came from East side animal hospital so technician Sarah I believe that’s her name knows my sweetie can be spicy and handles her like a professional with love even though she is spicy. 30th Street animal hospital is good about communicating when it’s time for annual visits and have rewards to help with cost. I’d refer them for anyone needing a safe place for a their animal.

Fantastic experience: I have tiny Chihuahuas and I'm extremely picky who I take my babies to. If you need of a good vet this is the place to go. You won't find a better doctor for your fur baby than the veterinarians here. Dr. Smith is a jewel he spoils me almost as much as my babies. We've seen the other doctors and they are all great. When you walk in the door you and your pet will be greeted by people that love their job and love helping their clients. As for the people that work in the back they will treat your babies as their own which includes spoiling them. Everyone here will treat you and your baby like family, you can't ask for more.

Fantastic experience: We have always had excellent experiences with 30th Street, Dr. Barnes, and the entire staff. They have all gone above and beyond to help us and our babies. We would never go anywhere else and recommend them to every pet owner we talk to.

Negative experience: I do like to come because I like Dr Bourne and she's no longer there but sometimes I think the receptionist or a little rude but I've been coming for her almost 10 years

Fantastic experience: The Dr answers all questions. Danny at the front desk is especially helpful, accommodating, professional and pleasant. The whole staff is friendly and they care about the fur babies. I like that the hill science diet food is refundable if the animals don’t adjust to it. Thats very convenient.

Fantastic experience: We arrived early, but we were seated in a waiting room for a short amount of time. We were expecting to sit in the waiting room until our appointment time. Employees working at the desk were very accommodating. Medical staff were very knowledgeable, and kind. MD presented plan of care that would benefit our senior cat in the best way. Very positive experience. First time at 30th Street; we had frequented East Side multiple times and we were always very satisfied with the excellent care given to our pets. We can already tell that 30th Street is an extension of that same mission.

Fantastic experience: Very kind staff. From the receptionist staff, vet techs and vets - everyone really cares about the health of your fur baby. They make the experience for your pet as pleasant as possible. My dog came out from having tests and shots with a wagging tail so can't really ask for better care and service. They also work to find reasonable solutions to medicines needed. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this clinic enough! I noticed my Cockapoo was struggling with a potential ear infection late in the evening and called at 5:30 PM, fearing the worst. To my surprise, they were still open and—even more impressively—able to fit me in the very next afternoon! The moment we walked in (a bit early), we were greeted with such warmth. The front desk staff was incredibly efficient, checking us in immediately and getting us settled into a room without any delay. We only waited a few minutes before a wonderful, personable technician came in. She listened so intently to my concerns, even repeating everything back to ensure she had every detail perfect. The doctor was truly fantastic—so gentle and patient with my dog, and they took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan thoroughly. While my pup’s ears were being flushed, I waited in the lobby feeling completely at ease knowing she was in such capable hands. It is a one-hour drive for us, (2 hourse roubd trip) but the genuine love, compassion, and high-quality care this office provides makes every mile worth it. Fantastic experience: The staff is amazing!! I have taken 3 of my babies there and the staff were great! I have. Been to other places because they were cheaper but always have went back to 30th street!! They really seem to care! We needed help getting our senior German shepherd that had tore his ACL and could barely walk and definitely couldn't jump into our truck so 2 staff members came to our house and helped us get him into our truck. Then met us at the clinic and helped get him out of truck and inside! I trust them with any babies Ive had, have, and will have!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Positive experience: the staff and Dr. Smith are such great & caring people. While waiting on my babies to get their shots, I noticed that the staff knew most of the incoming patients and owners by name which was amazing to see.

Negative experience: I am new to this animal hospital. I was a client of east side animal hospital for many years. When they merged a service has definitely not been as good.In the people or not as friendly, I go to get my next guard pills for my 3 dogs in which 2 of them just got their shots on thurs. And the guy at the counter would not sell me pills for all 3 of my dogs and was getting a attitude about the vet dont want lose there license or some bull crap, so I left without any of the pills for my dogs that are all 3 as healthy as possible. I asked buy the 3 pills, and they denied me a very unprofessional. We have been going here for probably a year ever since east side animal clinic was merged. We will not be going back here. We will find somewhere else to take our animals. Because that was very unprofessional, I have been in there numerous times and bought my dog 3 or 4 months worked a flea medication, and this time I can't a very unprofessional like I said, that guy should not be working at the counter. He should probably be working in the back. Somewhere where he's not being rude to people. Is we definitely will not be going back there

Fantastic experience: Gloria is a BIG GIRL we rescued after she was dumped 2 years ago. Not knowing her age, we guessed between 5-7 so we settled on 6, which would now make her 8ish. From checking in to being escorted into the exam room, everyone was so kind. Ariel gathered information the Dr. Knibbs arrived to examine and assess her. Gloria willing went with them for ??? blood work & shots. She came back as happy as a clam. The day after, Ariel called to check on her and said the lab results not back. Other than being far away from my house, this practice is close to perfect. A smooth operation! And afterwards a staff member even helped Gloria get into the car. Actually she only needed an audience. The presence of a "witness" got her willingly getting into the car!

Fantastic experience: My sweet girl, Danni, was sick and 30th St got her in right away. The Vet explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Very sensitive to how concerned I was. The front desk was very efficient and kind. Danni recovered nicely. ♥️

Fantastic experience: I wasn't thrilled with changing veterinarians at first, but all of my experiences here with my 4 dogs this past year has been exceptional from the scheduling to the actual visit and care provided. I couldn't ask for better receptionists, Vet techs or Veterinarians. Knowledgeable, professional staff all the way around. Welcoming environment.

And they don't try to push any services on you that you don't want. They just suggest things that might help you love your pet. And take care of your little furry friend. But yes, these people are a true blessing. And they will always have my business. You can check around if you like. But there are services are comparable to the others. But the staff can't be beat.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly and helpful. The waiting room is bright and large. The doctor showed me the x-rays and explained what was going on with my cat. They showed me the prices of tests that the doctor recommended. It is nice touch to have them call you the next day to see how your pet is doing.

They explain things well, give options to fit budgets when they are available, and when the hard decisions have to be made, they are so compassionate. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I'm surprised I haven't yet reviewed this place yet. They have now helped me care for three pets- two cats and one dog. Both cats had FIV and it was Dr. Barnes who immediately and correctly identified the condition in my first cat (I adopted the 2nd one knowing he was FIV+. Please give these kitties a home! They can live long, healthy lives). I 100% trust the whole team here and will never go anyplace else, especially for dental work. Dr. Smith did an incredible job with my cat's full mouth extraction. Everyone is kind and it is easy to make appointments.

Fantastic experience: I started taking Princess Daisy, my Corgi to 30th Street Animal Hospital when I Moved to Indiana. They have an incredible staff. Everyone is professional, patient , and friendly. Dr. Sam Smith is our Favorite Dr. He takes time with Princess Daisy and goes above and beyond to help her. My Son Tyler takes his Husky, Oliver here also. We all have had great experiences here. If you try 30th Street Animal Hospital, you will not be disappointed.

Positive experience: Dr.Smith is an awesome veterinarian to my cat Bacon. He always answers all my questions and makes sure I'm comfortable doing something for Bacon before hand. He's very gentle with him. The staff are wonderful as well. I've been taking Bacon there since he was 5 months old and now he's 3 years old. We have only had one problem the whole time but Dr.Smith and the manager made sure to correct this as well as making sure Bacon was okay. I appreciate Dr.Smith and his staff caring for Bacon like he was their own. Thank you 30th Street Animal Hospital for all the love & care you give Bacon and us. Our Animals are to be cared for as if they were our humans.

Fantastic experience: Every single one of the employees at this clinic are wonderful. I have never had a bad experience here. I have never felt taken advantage of here. They care about your animals and they care about YOU. They are unbelievably clear about pricing and offer multiple annual plans for unlimited visits that other clinics do not at a CHEAP price. The staff are all very knowledgeable and incredibly clear when explaining all types of pet care to owners. Every single time I have come in for any of our pets my expectations have been far exceeded. TC at the front desk is AWESOME. Sam and Claudia are by far the most kind and considerate veterinarians I have ever dealt with. I really can not express how great this clinic is. We are so blessed to have you! We also had a very needed follow up with top-notch Dr.Samland and it was very nice! Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my dogs to Dr. Claudia Samland for over 15 years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care. She used to own Eastside Animal Hospital, and even after merging with 30th Street Animal Hospital, her compassion and reliability have never changed. Dr. Samland has always been incredibly kind to my dogs — patient, gentle, and genuinely caring every single visit. She treats them like they’re her own, and that kind of consistency and heart is rare to find. I’m truly grateful for everything she’s done for my pets over the years. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. They have always met my expectations when it comes to caring for my fur baby. They are really knowledgeable about Pitbulls and don’t discriminate which is not always easy to find. I now live about 40 minutes from this office but still choose to take my baby here! I am used to a country vet and his prices so felt like your prices were quite high . But he has small office and only three helpers. So his overhead lot less too.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with this facility!. This was our first visit with our Rottweiler puppy. Michael checked us in and got us right back into an exam room. Vet tech Sarah came in and did her assessment and was so sweet with our girl. Dr. Samson came in and checked her out and her and Sarah answered all of our questions. I loved that they took her in the back and gave her the vaccines she needed and played with her for a while as we were checking out. Candace was very personable as well when she checked us out. I highly recommend 30th Street to anyone who wants personalized treatment for your fur babies!

Fantastic experience: Really the friendliest folks - from the front desk to the techs to the vets. They truly listen without judgment, are extremely patient, thorough with examinations, and extremely considerate when determining and diagnosing an issue. They’re sincere and kind in helping with things like cost, provide quick approvals from outside pharmacies, and I never feel rushed or that I’m being annoying when I ask questions. I’m not going anywhere else. They’re stuck with us P.S. My only complaint is I wish they took human patients I wish my own doc was as awesome!

Negative experience: I’ve been a customer since this clinic was a small practice with two vets and a handful of employees. Back then, the care was outstanding; communication was clear, and I always felt my pets were in good hands. Fast forward eight years: the building is bigger, the staff has multiplied, and unfortunately, the quality of care has gone downhill. Services started feeling more like sales pitches, communication became inconsistent, and the costs kept climbing with little to show for it. I understand veterinary care isn’t cheap, but when you’re told three different things and discover later that some of it isn’t true, it’s hard not to wonder if the focus has shifted from care to profit. After weeks of poor results and confusion, I took my dog to another clinic for a second opinion. Within a single day, her healing improved more than it had in five weeks under 30th Street’s care. That was all the confirmation I needed. What surprised me most was the lack of acknowledgment from a place I’d been loyal to for eight years. When I requested my dog’s records to be transferred, I received a call two days later asking to confirm her next appointment; as if nothing had happened. When I explained that we wouldn’t be returning, the response I got was, “Oh, that sounds familiar… yes, I did that. So, are you bringing her in?” That about sums up the level of care and attention this clinic now provides.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and answered all of my questions, which made the process much smoother. Dr. Smith was wonderful with Mike, and Lizzie was especially kind when he was a little nervous — they really made him feel safe and comfortable, which helped him stay calm throughout the visit. They explained clearly what he needed and the next steps, without being pushy, and they also got back to me with his results in a very timely manner. Overall, I felt confident that Mike was in good hands. I highly recommend this clinic and will be telling my friends about it if they’re ever looking for a place to take their fur babies.

Our dr, Dr. Knibbs, is very good with my geriatric cat and handles him very well, even when he's a little grumpy. They've also taken great care of my family's cats as well.
