Fantastic experience: Everyone from the doctors to the nurses were super nice and explained everything they were doing. Genuine interest in my pet's care

Negative experience: Called to set an appt up for a freezing treatment for cancer. We set that appt up and made sure that it was for that along with a wellness check. Set! Called on Mar 3, day before appt, to be sure it was for that appt, they said "we'll give you a call back," never recieved that call. Mar 4th, today, i called to verify this appt was for the cancer treatment, after we were told it was, the nurse today stated it was for a wellbess check only. They said the cancer treatment they "need the length of the incision" and that "it would have to be ordered." When we set this up, we made absolutely sure this was for the cancer treatment. It wasn't. Their nurses don't take the initiative to verify exactly what needs to be done unless you drive there and see or you call before leaving. I was very stern with my displeasure of their mess up with no cussing proving that they screwed up and the lady hung the phone up on me. The only good thing you did was remove the ribs with cancer and didn't want to complete the process when the time came with money being the main issue. I'm taking my dog to Auburn so they can finish y'alls mess up. With the lady being rude, i'm not giving thanks for y'alls rudeness or the work you did. If anyone i know has to see you by referral, i will tell them to go to Auburn.

Fantastic experience: Excellent medical facility for your pets needs. I personally have used Dr. Drygas and his team for my dog's multiple surgeries for MCT removal and now his soft tissue scarcoma. I was so excited to find out about their "ISOPET" Injectable targeted cancer - limb sparing therapy right here in Tallahassee Florida! It's new but I am all in. Brutus is a senior pet and this will be more gentle on him. One treatment day vs weeks of radiation elsewhere. Also, shout out to Dr. Lewis, Dermatology. Dr. Morales, Internal Medicine/Ultrasound, Dr. Lovett, Surgery and the Anesthesiologist who came out to speak to me prior to Brutus's planned surgery. I was so mentally stressed that morning I forgot her name but the fact that she came out to speak with me gave me reassurance that Brutus was being well cared for. Dr. Drygas is the "bomb". Always stays in communication before (assessment period), during and after surgery. The nurses, technicians, front desk, housekeeping all professional, helpful, and friendly.

Fantastic experience: My rescue dog was diagnosed with severe trachea collapse. Needless to say my wife and I love him so much we would anything for him. My local vet sent the X-ray to Doctor Jehn. Being from Minnesota and running a police canine and having hunting labs I had the privilege of attaining the best vets up north. I traveled from my new residence in Pensacola to Tallahassee to get a specialist to look at Trixie. Dr. Jehn reviewed the X-ray and did another at his facility at no charge. His diagnosis was no surgery but medication. Dr. Jehn only had one downfall, a Wisconsin background he was a Packer fan - lol. A few days after visitation one of the medications had an adverse reaction. He informed me to quit that certain medication and he actually improved. He also sent an overnight FedEx package with a liquid cough suppressant and didn’t charge me. God bless him for setting my mind at ease and relieving my wife’s stress and mine. He had that Midwest hospitality that I miss and kept everything simplified.

Fantastic experience: Brought my Aussie in after a healthscare. Dr. Drygas and his staff were incredibly helpful and cared very deeply about my pup. Luckily Banner is doing great now under the care of Cap Vet Spec. When we first came in we were told by my previous vet that cancer was a possibility after viewing x-rays, however the staff ran x-rays (for free!) and Dr. Drygas assured me that my pup did not appear to have cancer. He did recommend an MRI (very expensive, but I needed to know for myself and my pup if anything was wrong) but he did not push it on me or try to guilt trip me at all. Banner is 15 years old so he just has some old boy ailments. I can't thank Dr. Drygas and the rest of the staff enough for taking such good care of my boy. The only knock I have is that when I try to get prescriptions refilled I call to get the refill but never get a call back when they are ready. Not sure if it's a system issue or what...I normally call the morning I was aiming to pick them up and they confirm they are ready or have not been made ready yet.

Fantastic experience: We are pleased with the service we received. We were able to get Niko's MRI on the same day as our consultation. That helped a lot. We received the MRI results in just a couple of days along with a recommended course of action. Capital Veterinary Clinic diagnosed Niko and gave us a way forward that will help us with providing the best care for him.

Fantastic experience: I had to usher my babydog over the bridge suddenly. Dr. Love was literally like an angel. The whole operation, facility, staff, they all worked so quickly and compassionately. Ive never experienced that level of support or sincerity in an end of life appointment before. Its taken me 8 months to be able to write this review. But I knew I needed to let others know how kind this place was to me in a terrible circumstance.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can't find the words to say how awesome this team is! My dog just had surgery for a herniated disc and had to stay for two weeks to get better. While he was there, they were amazing about keeping me updated on his daily recoveries. I got updates a few times a day, every single day, complete with pictures of my little guy, even when he was getting his laser treatments! They made him feel so loved and comfortable. You can tell this whole team is all about the animals first. Thanks to every single person there, my dog is back home, healthy, and doing great! Seriously, if you need a place for your pets, this is it! They'll take the best care of you and your animals. A huge thank you to Dr. Jehn, Dr. Love, Dr. MacArthur, Dr. Yara, Jordan the rehab tech, and Nurse Hayes!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend CVS enough. As a vet myself, I send clients here daily & I have never received any negative feedback from them. I personally use them for my pets when I need imaging, diagnostics or surgery that is not possible at my clinic. Couldn’t ask for a better team of professionals! They’re always so kind & accommodating, as most people come from out of town to visit.

Fantastic experience: Ryan Devlin was great. Priscilla needed antibiotics and she is much better now. I can't write this without adding that Dr. Jehn has done surgeries on my dogs and he is AWESOME! Dr. Jehn's communication is outstanding. Dr. Devlin diagnosed infection. If antibiotics don't help the next step is a CT scan. Very concise and clear. I’ve been taking my dogs here for years.

Fantastic experience: My Maltese has an aggressive cancer it has been a hard couple of days Ms. Amber was her nurse and her bright personality made this hard day easier to bare for sure! .My baby girl was seen by Dr Josh and I cannot express how knowledgeable and caring he and the staff were to my precious Jewel. He explained in detail what was happening with her. He was patient and kind. I was there most of the day and saw patients come in and out and just the quality and workmanship of this office. It ran like a fine oiled machine. My baby girl is very special to me and the care and time, the attention they gave her will never be forgotten. Thank you to the doctors and staff for caring about my Jewel and myself during this difficult time. I’ll never forget it !

Fantastic experience: Loved Dr. Drygas, usually I am a worried mess when it comes to my Winston (Boston Terrier), but he explained confidently the condition, (brachycephalic airway syndrome,), the surgery, what to expect and the expected outcome. I felt at ease and that Winston was in the best hands. Winston was returned to me after surgery and he was perfect! I cannot thank Dr. Kevin and the Capital Vet team enough! Worth the travel to make sure my sweet boy had what he needed. Will recommend!!! If you have a squishy faced baby (Boston Terrier, Frenchie, etc) and they have breathing issues, definitely talk to the team at Capital Vet. Honestly, start to finish, it was flawless! Quick contact after referral, even a reschedule, Dr. Drygas is the best, Vet techs were the best and check in / check out was easy.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Capitol Vet. I love that their appointments are very time efficient. You dont drop the dog off and come back hours later or at the end of the day. You get to stay and appointments and procedures moved in that moment...im sure this might vary with different procedures. We were there for an ECHO and thankfully were out in less than 3 hrs. This is so nice especially considering we came from out of state. Im sure some days may be different if there are emergencies etc. Dr. Sorrentino and Nurse Emilie were so thorough. I felt like my questions were answered and they both took time to show me how to use his medical device and talked about what was going on and how to move forward with medication. We waited 4 months for the appointment but it was definitely worth it and now have the peace of mind needed and a proper diagnosis! Thank you all! Pilot is doing so good!

Fantastic experience: I brought in my sweet dog from GA, they couldn't do anything for her, I made the hard decision to put her down. The staff was very compassionate and kind.

Fantastic experience: This past weekend, we had to bring our Bentley to the clinic. After some tests and an MRI, we had to make the hard decision. In this extremely difficult time, I want to say thank you to Dr. Josh Goodson. He explained everything and what would be best for our Bentley. Even though we had to make this hard decision, Dr. Goodson and the team who cared for and loved him over the weekend were so compassionate. Words cannot express my thankfulness. So, thank you from us and Bentley for making his last moments so precious.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was really friendly. My only "negative" comment is the long wait. Someone took my pup back pretty soon after our arrival. Then I was updated & told to return in an hour so the vet could do a sedated exam of ****’s hips. I returned in an hour, and it was over an hour after I returned, but once I was taken back to confer with Dr. Drygas & make a plan for surgery, it went very smoothly. He thoroughly explained the options and procedures & put me at ease about ****'s upcoming surgery. The clinic is extremely clean & well-kept also.

Fantastic experience: Capitol has the best veterinary specialists ever! I had a very sick 5mth old, recently spayed & neutered hermaphrodite kitten who would have died if it wasnt for the amazing team at Capitol, especially Dr Sandra Mac Arthur! She first met my kitty, LeoNyla at the ER in Niceville where she was admitted to the hospital for 3 days as she was burning with a high fever, lethargy, pain, dehydrated, and fluid filling her belly. Dr Sandra Mac Arthur was on call that night as a fill in, although she normally works at Capitol veterinarian specialist in Tallahassee 3.5 hours away. Dr Sandra Mac Arthur was the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and trustworthy veterinary Dr I've ever met! She was very thourough with her testing, and care. She explained everything that was easy to understand and was very assuring that she would do all that she could to give her the best care possible and SHE MEANT IT! She treated LeoNylas symptoms to begin her care. The next 2 days LeoNyla was not getting any better and seemed to be getting sicker as her fever would fluctuate, painful, lethargic, and fluid still continued. More Ultrasounds, lab work, antibiotics, and medications were given and days in the hospital. Finally, they decided it was time to do more to find out what is going on with the fluid in LeoNylas tummy and we're going to do exploratory surgery to see if they could find out what was going on. I felt uncomfortable having a different Dr care for LeoNyla everyday, and wasnt feeling good about having yet another new Dr do surgery on my cat, that they never met. I thought about the first Dr I met that was a fill in, Dr Sandra Mac Arthur. I really connected with her and trusted her. She really made an impression on me and knew if anyone was able to save my kitty it was her. She showed so much care and concern about LeoNyla and us too including our financial situation that I just had to find her. I shared my wishes with the Dr that was on duty at the Niceville hospital that I wanted to take her to Dr Sandra Mac Arthur for the surgery. Dr Vandyland at Niceville was very understanding, compassionate and helpful in getting a referral for LeoNyla to be seen by Dr Sandra Mac Arthur at Capitol Veterinary Specialist set up for me that night. The referral was very prompt and we received a call from Capitol first thing in the morning that they accepted the referral and would set up the appointment with the Dr we chose. So we traveled to Tallahassee and got an appointment with Dr Sandra Mac Arthur the same day for an ultrasound first before doing the exploratory surgery. Dr Sandra reviewed the ultrasound and consulted with their internal medical DVM, Sofia Morales and determined that based on the other findings and reports, that her illness may be related to a immune system response to a virus, and decided that reopening LeoNyla for exploratory surgery wouldn't be the best choice as there was no findings supported on the ultrasound that indicated any ruptures, or surgical errors from her spay/neuter surgery she had 3 weeks prior or other reasons and felt it could be too risky to open her back up. So Dr Sandra Mac Arthur decided to treat LeoNyla with a medication that should work if it was the suspected virus. We began treatment that night and by the next morning had already noticed an improvement! LeoNyla seemed to be doing better with just one dose of the medicine! She has been on her medication for only 4 days so far and LeoNylas health has been improving more and more each day! LeoNylas life was spared due to the expert decisions that were made concerning Dr Sandra Mac Arthurs reading the ultrasound results and consultation with Dr Sofia Morales. I am so grateful for everyone involved with LeoNylas care at Capitol, from the front desk to the very knowledgeable, professional Dr's there! Especially Dr Sandra Mac Arthur! She is the most genuine person I've ever met, with a heart that cares! She trully cares about her patients and looks after your pet and your finances! She is our Christmas miracle &LeoNylas guardian Angel! ♥️

Negative experience: I took my cat to Capital Vet on 11/25. I had found out on 11/17 that my cat had liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), specifically a tumor that was looking to be rather aggressive. I met Dr. Jehn during that appointment and we discussed treatment options. He recommended liver tumor surgery. I was told it was a pretty straight forward procedure. I did my research, and most cats who undergo this sort of surgery live for a few years post-op. I wanted to give him a chance at life, as the tumor was growing rapidly and would lead to his death if something wasn’t done about it. My sister was also present for the consultation and she also believed that the surgery was straight forward. I was more worried about his post-op care (I was scared he would jump on things post-op which could potentially open up his stitches), than I was about the actual surgery itself. On 12/3 I dropped him off at Capital Vet for his surgery. Turns out the tumor was more aggressive than thought. While retracting the liver the tumor started to break apart (per the medical record they could see the tumor was much more aggressive than thought before the retraction). Because the tumor wrapped around crucial blood vessels they weren’t able to fully remove the tumor (if they had he might have bled out on the operating table). They were able to get the bleeding under control, but soon after the surgery was completed he went into cardiac arrest due to internal bleeding from the tumor wrapped around his main blood vessels. He then went into cardiac arrest 2 more times. I was able to see him before he passed, but by that time he was unconscious. I understand that there are unknowns going into surgery. I’m not a doctor, I had no idea until after he died that x-rays and ultrasounds only show so much. That sometimes it’s not until you open up a patient that you see how bad things are. But by the time they retracted the liver it was too late. He has already internally bleeding, which is normal for this sort of surgery. But for someone in his case (where the tumor is wrapped around main blood vessels) the decision to continue with the surgery ended his life. I was not fully told the potential dangers before going into this surgery. If I had known just how blind they were going into it I may not have chosen to have him go under the knife. I also don’t understand why the surgery continued when they saw that the tumor wrapped around his main blood vessels. The only comfort I have is that he died not in pain, and that he was given another chance at life. I appreciate all that was done to keep him alive post-op. But I should have been told in full of the risks before going into surgery. This event has left me devastated, and I also feel used. The original consultation plus x-rays and ultrasounds was $1,357. I was given a credit after his death, but after that credit was applied I still was charged $1,955 for his surgery. UPDATE: I was called on 12/16 by team member at Capital Vet. We had a conversation about my experience, and I was told that the director had okayed a refund of $1,900 concerning his surgery (which I have received).

Fantastic experience: Was referred her for a heart sonogram for my kitty, as it was (I believe) the only place that could perform this. A long wait for the appointment, but not surprising if this is a service needed by many. Communication before the appointment was good, and the staff were able to answer my questions in advance. Easy parking, bright and comfortable space, and staff and doctor were cordial and thorough.

Fantastic experience: I'm happy to have a skilled surgeon in town and not need to go to Gainesville or Jacksonville for my pets. Dr. Drygas and Dr. Lopez have great bedside manners and seem to be a wonderful surgeons. The facility is very clean and nice. Staff is kind and caring. The place is BUSY and waits can be very long, but it is worth it for the quality of care.

Negative experience: Although CVS had helped my dog countless times before, I still reflect on one particular episode—the last time I brought my dog here. My dog had diagnosed heart failure, and during one of his coughing episodes, Dr. Hannah and Dr. Sorrentino prescribed steroids, which I later learned is the last thing you want to give a patient with heart failure. A day after giving my dog the steroids for the first time, he was admitted to the emergency room due to complications. My dog had an assigned cardiologist, and I told Dr. Hannah and Dr. Sorrentino to reach out to the cardiologist to ensure all prescriptions were approved, but they didn’t. Instead, Dr. Sorrentino, who is not a cardiologist, gave Dr. Hannah the thumbs-up, and in less than 24 hours my dog was admitted to the emergency room and placed in an oxygen chamber. The help is appreciated, but the lack of care is unacceptable. My dog lived another year after this episode before his passing but I can’t stop wondering what would things be like now if it wasn’t for that steroid intake, although it was never 100% certain it was the steroids, that was his first serious hospitalization followed by many others.

Fantastic experience: Came in with a referral for my Chihuahua's vet. As internal medicine specialist they found my Chihuahua's cancer mass in her nose. We scheduled a surgery, the mass was removed, they kept her overnight then we walked away the next day. Recently went back for the follow up, she's doing pretty good. The place is clean, they are very nice in person. Tho just sometimes it could take a while for them to respond to messages or to call back. But I'll totally recommend the place. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Overall, I'm just happy my pet got the care she needed but there's a ton of room for improvement non-medically, however. Parking lot doesn’t have enough space and the main waiting area and waiting rooms have the absolutely most uncomfortable seating I’ve experienced. They may as well be high school bleachers. When you’re waiting potentially hours to be seen, it really doesn’t help with the anxiety to also be uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sorrentino and the staff at CVS took wonderful care of our cat Lucy. She has had some ongoing chronic issues and Dr. Sorrentino took time to explain the pathophysiology of Lucy's condition. Although surgery was an option, it wasn't the right option at this time. However, he had a plan B and we can tell Lucy has perked up after a dose of antibiotics and a course of steroids. Overall, we are extremely pleased with how professional, knowledgeable, and kind everyone was. Thank you again! Timeliness, kindness, knowledge

In the past, they were amazing in treating long term serious issues for two of my other cats. Highly recommend for specialized or urgent care.

She was very thorough and suggested other scan in addition to scan I originally came in for. This was after her detailed questions led her to wonder about other possibilities.

Fantastic experience: The staff are simply great people! We have come here several times over the past few years for emergencies when our regular vet was closed. They helped two of our furry friends cross the rainbow bridge, and both times, the staff did their best to make the experience as smooth as possible. In addition, I lost my wallet in the roadway recently, and one of their staff members very kindly contacted me to return it. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing their services.

Dr. Goodson's (and Dr. Morales behind the scenes) level of thoroughness, engagement, and patience was leaps and bounds ahead of anything I've ever experienced before. I can see why CVS was my primary vet's top recommendation, and I would undoubtedly agree. My dog, Cooper, had endured over a week of a rollercoaster of various issues following an emergency GI surgery that ultimately led us to a guarded prognosis at his prior facility. Once transferring to CVS, Dr. Goodson took his time going through every single issue that had transpired and every detail of his history, no matter how big or small. He took his time with me at every interaction — even during quick phone call updates during my baby's hospital stay. I never felt rushed, and I could sense his genuine care and empathy. Words could never express our level of gratitude for Dr. Goodson, Dr. Morales, Cooper's tech (I missed her name, but she was short with brown hair), and CVS's entire staff. They did more than just help my baby recover, they supported me through a difficult time where I felt panicked, stressed, and alone with an uncertain future. I'd say CVS treats both their pets and their parents with equal care, which is a unique and special experience. After all, our babies always tend to sense our emotions, and our wellbeing is just as important for their recovery. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you. Fantastic experience: It was a smooth and timely process to schedule the evaluation appointment. I was given a variety of options for treatment that ranged in level of aggressiveness and cost. I was not rushed and both drs took the time to fully explain their findings and recommendations. Customer service and thorough explanations by drs were areas of strength during my visit.

Fantastic experience: This is the 2nd time I've brought my pup to Capital Veterinary Specialists, both times for major surgery (in my opinion anyway). The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The facility is nice and clean, their explanation and patience in informing me of my pet's medical needs is truly appreciated. I never get the feeling I'm being rushed during phone calls for staff to get onto their next task.

Fantastic experience: Surgery was more involved than expected. Still only charged the high end of the estimate. Had to take her to the urgent care the next day for not going to the bathroom. They did an exam, sonagram, upped meds and didn’t even charge me. Definitely my new go to for my 5 animals if they need specialty care.

Fantastic experience: I have unfortunately had to lean on these guys on more than one occasion, but have been very impressed with each and every member of the team during each visit... From the front desk staff though to the Doctors everyone has been very respectful, considerate, and dedicated to caring for both the pets and the owners, often in very stressful circumstances. Fantastic experience: We took our Lab in for multiple health issues. Found out our girl has cancer and torn ligaments in both hind legs. Dr. John prioritized the cancer and immediately starter the procedures and diagnosis. Plans are being made for treatment. Dr. Jenn and his staff are excellent.

Fantastic experience: I felt like my concerns were listened to, my dog was examined thoroughly, that everything was explained well, and that my dog was treated wonderfully. I have previously had one of my dogs euthanized here and they were very caring during that difficult time. Also, my mom's dog received chemo here and I was always comfortable stopping by the clinic to spend time with her during her stay.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about this veterinary practice! You can tell that everyone there really cares and treats your pet like their own. My pup had to have surgery and they explained everything to me and answered all my questions. A big plus was the transportation offered for my pet to return to Santa Rosa Beach after recovering from surgery. Since I care for my 94 year old mom, this was so helpful.

Fantastic experience: My two kitties have been diagnosed with small cell lymphoma and Irritable bowel syndrome and have been seeing Dr. Morales since 2020 and 2022. We have been pleased with their care and they are doing well. The staff gives me a complete report at the time of the exam and answers any questions. I always feel confident that my kitties are getting the best of care at Capital Veterinary Specialists.

Fantastic experience: I took my dog in on an emergency basis. I called first and they said to come on in. The vet nurse and doctor were wonderful. Communication was great and the wait wasn’t too long. Unfortunately, my dog had a nasal tumor and couldn’t be saved. I would highly recommend Capital Veterinary Specialists.

Fantastic experience: From booking the appointment to post op concerns everyone was friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to care about my dog’s wellbeing. Dr. Jehn was excellent. He called me immediately after the procedures to give me an update on how it went and how my fur baby was doing and answered any questions I had. He even responded quickly to my email 10 days post op to reassure me. I was a little worried at first reading the online reviews about the staff and the high pricing. However, all the staff we encountered were exceptional and while the bill was above average it was well worth it for the quality of care my fur baby received. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing a specialty surgical procedure for their pet.

Fantastic experience: Capital Vet and Dr Jehn's team is the best in the area. As a general practitioner, I send all my patients to them for next step procedures. But I also call upon them when my own pets need next steps.

Positive experience: The care my dog received was excellent. We feel like Dr. Sorrentino understood our concerns and what symptoms she was presenting. However, be advised the wait times can get a little long, they are a very busy practice, but for us, the care they provided was worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The care everyone gave me and Blu was remarkable. From the front desk to the doctor, everyone was so knowledgeable and confident. I felt very comfortable leaving Blu overnight for her surgery. They took a lot of worry off my shoulders. Made me feel at ease knowing she was in good hands!

Fantastic experience: This specialty group was recommended by my vet. Camper was diagnosed with cancer that has spread. He has monthly visits for a hormone shot and occasional blood tests. It has been 1 year and thanks to Dr. Sorrentino Camper is still a happy boy even if he has to wear diapers. Dr. Sorrentino is compassionate and explains everything clearly. The staff, receptionists, techs and vets are professional and compassionate. My daughter who lives in Jacksonville, came to seek a 2nd opinion concerning her dog. She was so pleased with how her dog was treated that little Ellie will have her surgery here.

Fantastic experience: Started with two different Vets and months of baths,ointments and tests that gave temporary results for Great Dane skin problem. Capital Veterinary Specialists gave me a diagnosis of what is causing the skin problem. Bacteria is the culprit and a culture is needed to verify what type and determine which antibiotic to prescribe. I should have visited Capital Vet Specialists in the beginning and saved the intial costs. Dr. Lewis was able to pinpoint the bacteria infestation causing the hair loss and scabes with a simple "Look under the microscope" to detect bacteria. Thank you Dr. Lewis!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Drygas & Team for saving Whiskey's and now Koda's life. I am truly grateful for the care, knowledge, and patience. This journey has been a long one and thankfully Whiskey is happy and healthy as he continues to move forward. I never thought I would see the day where Koda needed help just like Whiskey. We returned to Capital because I knew Dr. Drygas and his team would give 100% to save his life just like my first dog. Thank you for being the best and because of that my boys can continue to live a healthy life. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have consulted Capital Veterinary Specialists on two occasions for my dog, Bud. Both times I was seen in a timely manner and received caring, thoughtful advice. Dr. Drygas and his team are total professionals but treat the patients and their humans with concern and genuine compassion. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have given me confidence that my dog's problems could be addressed with good results.

Fantastic experience: They took the best care of my puppy. When there was a problem they took care of it quickly. He spent more than a week with them and they made sure that he was taken care of the whole time. Couldn't ask for any better under the circumstances. Much thanks to them and their excellent staff.

Negative experience: My experiences here were 5 star with everyone until I encountered Sofia Morales, well encountered isn't the right word since she's never bothered to speak to me, explain anything to me or give me an opportunity to ask any questions. I still paid full price for her services though. I handed over thousands of dollars without hesitation because my vet told me this was the best place to go but she couldn't even bothered to speak to me. I don't even think she bothered to examine him at his last appointment so that money feels like it was just a donation. I had to go home and Google his diagnosis and figure it all out for myself. 3wks later we switched to another Dr only to find out that her plan wasn't going to work because the disease was already too progressed. But at least Dr Sorrento tried to do something. He was kind and thoughtful even though he was very honest. My beautiful 5yr old dog is dead now and I can't help but think maybe had she actually examined him at his appointment, maybe had she bothered to speak to me over a year ago when it was identified. Is it laziness? Incompetence? Maybe Great Danes and Liver Disease just aren't exciting enough for you.I genuinely hope every day is the day you deserve, Sofia Morales

Fantastic experience: I'm incredibly impressed with Capital Veterinary Specialists. Everyone—from the front desk staff to the Doctors and their teams—is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well-being of our pets. They provided complete care for my pet, including a successful surgery to remove her cancer, controlled her cushings disease, controlled her BP and Thyroid and most importantly her seizures. Fantastic experience: This is the most caring and impressive veterinary clinic I have ever encountered. The staff is truly invested in your pet. The medical care, procedures and equipment are unlimited in scope. They even have a blood bank and will match the blood type! My dog Bella had a hidden upper GI bleed. Using diligence and a variety of imaging they located the bleed and will undergo surgery. We will see how things turn out but nice to get answers. The surgeons are renowned and I know Bella is in good hands. Staff and range of diagnostics A++

Fantastic experience: We were sent to Dr. Jehn By our veterinarian to get the proper care for a kitten we found that was severely injured. We traveled two hours to bring her in for treatment. We were relieved and pleased to find that the staff is very friendly, the facility is very spacious and clean. It is a very comfortable place to be especially in a stressful situation. They are super available and kept us well informed . It was definitely worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: We have always received the absolute best care at CVS. This urgent care visit was very scary for me because we were looking at a possible diagnosis of bladder cancer. All of your staff were so kind and the medical team made sure that I understood everything that was going on with the testing and treatment. I feel like they really cared for my furbaby and they were very compassionate about my fear and anxiety. Everything was explained very thoroughly and I left there knowing exactly what was going on with my baby and exactly what the treatment plan was.

Fantastic experience: We were amazed at how the entire staff treated our baby boy as if he were one of their own! The entire staff also treated us with nothing but kindness and professionalism. The hospital was extremely clean and has no odor whatsoever. I highly recommend this hospital. We will be back with our baby girl as soon as our baby boy has surgery and heals. Everything
