Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with this veterinary hospital. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. From the moment we walked in, they made both my pet and me feel comfortable and welcomed. The veterinarians took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience and care. They were very gentle with my pet and made sure she was calm throughout the visit. You can tell they truly care about the well-being of every animal that comes through their doors. The hospital was very clean, organized, and well run. I really appreciated how attentive the staff was and how quickly they helped us. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my pet was in such good hands.

Fantastic experience: We brought our puppy Camila in for her vaccinations and had such a great experience. The staff was very kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were gentle with her and made sure she felt as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is awesome, they really are patient and helpful and take great care of your fur babies and even help you out as best as possible financially.

Negative experience: Vet wasn’t sure of what it was. 1400 and 3 days later dog is the same. Looking on line it’s a revers sneeze. They claimed to have done full blood work and in less than 30 mins had the results. My past experiences it doesn’t work that fast. I don’t trust these people anymore. Update 19 Feb a few days later had to come back for an emergency since they didn’t do anything for my dog the first time and they denied him care for my review. Just a testament of how they work here.

Positive experience: Make sure to bring pet carrier!! We came at 10pm didn’t get seen until 12! Although they did have nurses come out and check on my cat which I liked! The doctor was very nice and explained everything to us and gave us options. Everything was very clean and stay was very nice as well! For all the testing it was over a thousand so I would say it was overpriced! For fluids and antibiotics it came out to around 130.

Fantastic experience: Dr Koo is amazing he treated my dog Tank and was very informative and did an awesome job!!Prices are great and they offer walk ins they were able to get tank in pretty quick!! The staff was very friendly as well!!

Fantastic experience: I called in a frantic state past normal hours because my frenchie was having an IVDD episode and wanted to know if they could see him immediately. The young lady over the phone and front desk was super helpful and gave me tons of peace of mind and recommended I come in as soon as possible. I’m so glad I came in because the doctor was able to diagnose my baby and give him the appropriate medication to return home to recover.

Negative experience: I called they said they unfortunately do not see or help with turtles/tortoise now. , animal shelter animal hospital should be able to help any animal correct? Or am I just being a karen?

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this Vet Hospital. This is not my primary vet however I have used them several times. I live 40 mins away, otherwise they would definitely be my primary. Their staff is amazing, the Vet is great. They take walk in appointments and they offer cremation services (which unfortunately I have used a few times). I highly recommend them for the care of your fur babies .

Fantastic experience: I arrived for my appointment and was checked in promptly. Not even 5 minutes after that I was called back for my appointment. The doctor listened to my concerns and explained the options thoroughly. I felt confident with the care my dog was receiving.

Fantastic experience: A bit pricey but expected as it’s an emergency vet that stays open 24 hours everyday. Receptionists and vet techs were welcoming, communicative, and kind. They were also flexible with care and treatment plans.

Negative experience: Go to VEG in Anaheim instead. Your fur baby will be treated with more respect and dignity than this place. My bby was seen without any payment upfront at VEG and here you can’t even get seen without the payment. It’s all money to them when these are actual lives. I would give it a 0 star if I could.

Fantastic experience: Update: I had to return with one of my kittens for an evaluation. I really appreciate the care and concern of the entire staff and Dr S’s professional and conservative approach to treatment. He is so knowledgeable and patiently addresses my concerns. Update: I saw Dr Saldanha today with two kittens with eye problems. He was very thorough and patient as he explained their condition and also conservative with treatment. I appreciate his honesty and consideration. He truly cares for his patients. This place continues to live up to its high standards! Love this place! The doctors are very knowledgeable and the staff kind and caring. I always have a great experience. Update: 1/21/26 I brought my foster dog in today for an evaluation of her broken leg. The staff was wonderful and Dr Saldanha was very caring and thorough as always. It’s easy to see that everyone here really cares about the animals they treat.

Fantastic experience: We were attended by Nicole on the night shift, and she was very pleasant and reassuring during a stressful visit. She worked closely with the veterinarian on duty to help us manage costs by discussing recommendations and offering reasonable substitutions where possible, which we truly appreciated. Emergency veterinary care is understandably expensive. Our total came out to just over a thousand, which included intake, X-rays, bloodwork, and medication. Everything was clearly explained before proceeding. We arrived around 2:00 a.m., and after testing and explanations, we were able to take our fur baby home around 4:40 a.m. The waiting room has two areas, including a more private section separated by glass doors, which was helpful. There’s also a coffee machine available for those late-night or early-morning visits. Overall, while emergency care is never ideal, the staff were compassionate, communicative, and considerate throughout the process.

Negative experience: We came here during a very stressful emergency with our pet and did receive medical treatment, including IV fluids and medications. The doctors appeared knowledgeable, and the clinical care itself was appropriate. However, the overall experience was cold, rushed, and overwhelming. Communication was heavily focused on costs, paperwork, and process, often before comfort, reassurance, or clear explanation, even while we were visibly anxious. At times, the interaction felt more transactional than compassionate. The most concerning moment occurred during discharge. I clearly stated, “My daughter Hannah’s blood sugar is low,” and explained that I needed to step away immediately to care for her. Low blood sugar in a child is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening. Instead of acknowledging that urgency or reassuring me to take care of my child while they continued caring for my pet, I was asked to wait while internal discharge steps were checked. I had to repeat myself and follow up because I was worried about my daughter’s safety. I was never clearly told that my pet was ready for discharge, and she was rushed out rather than allowed to continue resting after treatment. In that moment, it felt like process and payment were prioritized over compassion, situational awareness, and basic empathy. In an emergency setting — especially one dealing with families under extreme stress — warmth, patience, and clear communication matter just as much as medical treatment. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported as pet owners or as parents facing a medical emergency with our child. I truly hope this clinic improves bedside manner and client communication, because emergencies require humanity, not just procedures.

Fantastic experience: Great service! We’ve brought both of our English bulldogs and they’ve been treated with the best care and attention.

Fantastic experience: She had a dental infection and she was given good care that she needed to feel better right away. With antibiotics to take home. The doctors and veterinarians were very kind and helpful in nursing my dogs back to health.

Fantastic experience: My Daisy girl got sick suddenly, and these guys promptly and courteously attended to her. All medical and veterinary care can quickly get pricey, but RRVG was surprisingly affordable considering a three-day hospital stay. The Vet Techs provided timely and thorough updates via text on her condition, and now my sweet girl gets to come home. Highly Recommended!! They offer complimentary coffee and tea, and the environment is kept clean. Also, they accept Care Credit.

They were very clear and honest about every step throughout our visit and we feel like we can definitely trust them with all future needs and visits.

Fantastic experience: I brought my cat Loki in recently as an emergency due to a really bad asthma flare up and the staff took him in right away and were extremely polite and helpful. They communicated the best course of action for him and gave me updates on how he was doing while he was hospitalized. They also gave him a super cute bandana. He’s doing so much better now, thank you!!!

Positive experience: Dr. Koo was very detailed and informative. However, after his explanation and work up of the recommendations and costs, a staff member came in to explain. She was cold and routine. She was very quick and appeared uncaring. It was as though she was bored with her job and wanted to be done with us immediately. We’re seniors and our 12 year old cat is sick. Unfortunately, we are extremely low income and could not afford the Dr.s recommendations.

Negative experience: This hospital doesn’t even deserve a one. A one is even too good for them. I would give them a -0 if you have a pet do not take your pet to this hospital. All they care about is your money which I had the money and that’s it. Their doctors don’t care that your Animals, especially if they’re dying

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. We were greeted right when we walked in. Paperwork was quick and easy. Our dog was taken back in under 15 minutes and evaluated by the on duty Dr. we were given a treatment plan and what to expect all with in 30 minutes of arriving. Absolutely amazing experience while dealing with an injured dog.

Not too expensive for a walk in on the weekend. Clean location, plenty of parking, the exam rooms were very nice and modern. Staff was friendly attentive. Fantastic experience: I came into this hospital- desperate- my best friend of 15 years- he had acute pancreatitis-his vet bill to save him was costly- I was beside myself- Dr. Shauna McAnally she is an angel on earth! I had in a very short time from the time my little man woke up to being infront of this Vet to make the hardest decision of my life-this vet- probably one of the most special people placed on this earth took my case seriously- she sat with me she talked to me when I could not be consoled! She shed tears with me- she walked me through the last few moments w my beloved Leo- in a way that God only knows how to do- the c are provided- the honesty- the compassion in my desperate time of need- she was there! I have yet to deliver a formal thank you- I am still grieving-but part of that grief gives me pleasure in honoring this amazing Vet! Thank u to everyone who was on staff November 17,2025! U all were so helpful in my darkest day! The cremation- was beautiful! I still wish I saw my little buddies tail wagging- but I know u all took good care of him- and me! Forever thankful to Shauna McAnally! U are a memory I will never forget!

Negative experience: I brought my small puppy to Riverside Regional vet today 11/30/25 for parvovirus treatment. At the time, my puppy was stable, but during the visit, the vet squeezed the fluid bag to administer 250 mL very quickly. Shortly afterward, my puppy experienced severe distress—rapid breathing, trembling, and weakness—and tragically passed away. I’m sharing this so other pet owners can be aware and ask questions about fluid administration and monitoring for small or sick puppies. Make sure you understand the treatment plan and watch for signs of distress during or after care. I pretty much paid 1k for them to kill my dog due to malpractice. And I will be filing a complaint with the board today! Please go somewhere else these people do not care about your pet only about money I promise you it’s not worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience here. I have brought my cat Binx here for her broken jaw and now I am back with my dog Baxter. They have taken really good care of him and have made me feel very comfortable. The staff has called or text me everyday with updates on Baxter. Which means a lot when you get good news. I would definitely recommend bringing your fury loved ones here.

Negative experience: My puppy was seen yesterday for Routine vaccinations for her 3rd series. On her 2nd series, she was given the Covid vaccine, unbeknownst to us. We requested that she not receive the 2nd injection at the front reception desk. The receptionist did not do as I asked on changes to my dogs chart. Both my son and I made it clear, that we did not want the Covid vaccine. By the time she was finally seen, about an hour and half later, the Tech took her back to administer the shots. Everything was fine. When we went to pay the invoice, the Covid shot was listed and charged for. This was deceptive and unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO THIS VETERINARY GROUP!! Since it was changed from the Arlington Animal Hospital, it has been bad. I have gone there for 10 years or more. Changes are not always for the best. When I had taken my other dog in a year ago, I was not impressed with how she was treated. She wasn't doing well. Before she could be seen quickly, I had to pay a expensive down payment & still waited. Uncalled for. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROUP!!! 0 STARS.

Fantastic experience: The techs are friendly and show concern and care for our fur baby. They were fast, efficient and cautious. We were in and out within 65 min on a holiday weekend.

Fantastic experience: We went to this clinic on a Saturday, not expecting the A-Team to be on for the weekend. Our terrier Daisy is 17 years old. I was very surprised at the cleanliness of the office and professionalism of the staff. The girls up front were constantly cleaning, the inside and outside waiting areas are very nice. Dr. Koo was very good with our older dog Daisy and he gave us a direct opinion of her current condition. He did not burden us with extraneous unneeded tests. The staff had all the information for us about the procedures and cost should we decide to proceed. Dr. Koo was very professional and had a great bedside manner. The next day we decided to send our Daisy to heaven. Although it was sunday, the staff got us setup immediately, and Dr. Koo came in to assist with the procedure. Everyone who came into the room knew Daisy's name and we were given all the time needed to say our last goodbye. There was even a nice blanket for her to lay on instead of a cold exam table. This animal hospital was very professional, clean, modern, and prepared. Dr. Koo was very professional, very nice, and showed great care for our Daisy. We will be bringing our pets here for medical services in the future.

Fantastic experience: Got us in super fast. My dog ate grapes and staff was super helpful getting things moving forward and helping our dogs

Negative experience: This is by far the most inhumane animal hospital I have EVER BEEN TOO!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVER GO HERE!! My dog was severely injured due to being mauled by a pitbull and they had absolutely no emotion towards my dog or myself all they were worried about is the $1500.00 they wanted just to look at her, CRAZY!! I. was in shock when I witnessed the whole attack, and still see it over and over again, and just wanted sum help for my dog, and they basically kept saying that if I didn't have the $$ upfront they couldn't help me!! So my honest opinion on this place is it's straight up the WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PET AT ANY TIME!! The animal hospital in corona on Main St is the very best place anyone could ever ask for the as soon as I got there they came running to take my baby and rush her to the back but it was too late!! But I think if Riverside Regional Veterinary Hospital would have attended to her she would have made it and still be alive right now!!! So I will never ever go there again and or refer to ANYONE!!!

Fantastic experience: This is our go to spot for all our dog’s needs. Amazing service and the doctor here is great and attentive. We never have to wait long and they have great protocols in keeping our pets safe. Clean establishment and super friendly staff. We will continue coming here.

First visit… We came in and saw the vet for my pug mix who has skin irritation, the vet took the time to explain the course of action and had good bed side manner. Second visit… came in on Saturday for the vaccine clinic. They were also thoughtful in their explanations and took the time to make sure we got exactly what we needed. Thank you RRVG.

Fantastic experience: Quick and effective work on my cat that had an anal gland abscess. They took great care of us!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. My puppy was chocking and we were refused help because I didn't have a physical ID on my person. I had a photo of my ID but that wasn't good enough. In an emergency situation when you're giving your beloved pet rescue breaths and chest compressions the last thing on your mind is " I need an ID". I have never been denied emergency help over such a trivial technicality. In those crucial moments every second counts. They may be open 24 hour but don't count on them to save your pets life.

Fantastic experience: While their name has changed, their fabulous service has not. Friendly and caring staff and quick service is always a good reason to come here. Update 10/17- Had to bring in a foster kittwn who got sick and this team made sure to communicate exactly what was going on even when there was another animal who caused a small delay because of their emergency. Great team work.
