Fantastic experience: Dr Wedemyer is phenomenal! She is so kind, wise, and patient. She gives detailed explanations and offers the best advice and treatment plan. She is magic as she is able to handle/exam and even get a needle aspiration from my cat who is fearful of strangers and strange places. I am beyond blessed to have Dr. Wedemyer for our vet. I’ve been going to her for all my animals for years and it makes me feel at ease having her there for me and my animals when I need her most. p.s. Wanted to add that the staff was so kind and friendly also. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a happy smile and Shannon, Dr. Wedemyer's vet tech, was a great at getting my concerns conveyed to Dr. Wedemyer as well as being great with my cat and super kind.

During the appointment, she recommended some additional tests, which revealed an issue that could be addressed early. Thanks to her guidance, we adjusted our cat’s diet, and he’s feeling so much better—he’s more active, his digestion has improved, and overall he seems happier. Dr. Breanna Skolnik was attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. The clinic itself is clean, welcoming, and well-organized. We’re so grateful for the care and attention you give to our beloved pets. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My little furry boy always feel welcome and loved at Arbor. Service has always been amazing since my baby fur was an infant. I can’t thank this vet place enough when my dog got poisoned and continued his care. They were very accommodating and try to be cost effective as much as they can even though I have pet insurance. And now he’s 8 years old we have had 2 to 3 vet doctors at the same place but they were all great with my Brawly.

Fantastic experience: Amazing vet, they take time to make sure your pet is well taken care of. I never liked previous vets because they seem money hungry and disregard your concerns. Arbor view is not like that. I won't be taking ny dog or future animals anywhere else. My dog is terrified and requires sedation for nail trims as he is 130lbs and fighting him on it isn't an option. They do it complimentary. First vet i truly felt comfortable going to.

Fantastic experience: All of my cats have not had any issues at Arbor View Veterinary. I have been going here for over 5 years now. These doctors are very trustworthy. They tell you when something needs urgent action and what can wait. They are very conscious of any and all financial constraints. I'm clear across town in Natomas now and I will gladly keep driving all the way to this location for the care my cats get. I definitely recommend this place to everyone that cares about your fur baby.

Fantastic experience: They are so friendly and hired some new draws they are really busy. Senior discount helps. Don’t forget to ask. The Vet Tech’s can do a lot now and it is less expensive

Negative experience: They didn't explain that a simple eye test they did will be an additional charge. We only found out after they already did it :D They offered for me to sign up for a credit line to get it covered, which felt super salesperson and pushy. Anyways, the pet insurance by Metlife that the spca gives for 30 days didn't cover anything. Thanks, y'all, for your transparency. It's super awesome.

Fantastic experience: I have had two major dental procedures done now on my little senior girls, because of their size and age this can be challenging. Dr. Haleigh Rivas is AMAZING! She is beyond knowledgeable, kind, and caring. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and very patient.

Fantastic experience: I have two cats and the male, Smokey, has a bad cough. Dr Vansteinburg has been treating him and she is so kind, loving and patient with him. She is thorough, gives me suggestions and options. I'm on a fixed income so she knows I will do anything to take care of Smokey, but the cost could be a concern. She always suggests a plan of action and what steps to take and when. She is great at follow up too. I've been going to Arbor View for many years and all the doctors exhibit the same thorough, caring attitude, as do all the office staff. Love going here.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to Roseville so I needed to find a new vet. After asking several neighbors, Arbor View came up a few times so I made an appointment to establish care for my cat and dog. I was warmly welcomed into the clinic, had almost no wait, and the vet tech was great with my pets. My dog views everyone everywhere as his greatest fans and best friends, but my cat usually does NOT feel the same way. However, my cat felt very calm and unafraid at Arbor View, which says a lot about this place. We met Dr. Umeda, who clearly explained my dog’s upcoming neuter surgery, answered all of my questions, and even let me know what he didn’t need a teeth cleaning just yet, and that we could wait to schedule that. I really appreciated her honesty! That lets me know this veterinary practice is the right one for us.

Fantastic experience: First time to be in this clinic with my puppy. They have a 7am slot that I took. Staff were very nice and gave me informative leaflets in dealing with puppy destructive behavior. The doctor was very good in explaining things about my pup.

Fantastic experience: Arbor View is amazing. I can’t give it enough stars. My cat has had a series of health issues this year and Dr. Wedemeyer and Dr. Skolnik have saved her live multiple times now. When I first met with Dr. Wedemeyer for a cancer diagnosis she came with all the research data and took her time to explain all my options, never pushing me in any one direction. Post surgery the staff and vets were always there to take care of my cat. I’ve never experienced such a caring vet before. Thank you for all you do!

Positive experience: My English Mastiff was seen by Dr. Skolnik yesterday for an infected mass. She was knowledgeable, professional, and delivered care in a very gentle manner. She gained my trust and her plan going forward reassures me she knows what she’s doing. The front office was friendly and efficient and Beau was at ease waiting to be seen. Someone, however, needs to correct the spelling of his name in their records.

Fantastic experience: This morning I had to let go of my senior doggie. The staff here is very compassionate and caring. From the receptionist to the doctor, you will receive nothing but empathy and support. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: This clinic deserves all the stars. Since day one, this clinic has been so efficient with great customer service . Every time our dog was sick or not well, the receptionist would listen and try to give the advices. If she felt that we needed a care, she would try to find the spot for us to see the vet or recommend the urgent care for us to go to if things got worse. Both Dr. Van Steinburg and Dr. Rivas have been so kind, professional and caring to our dog. Any treatments we need, she would explore the options for alternatives. She never forced us to choose for the most expensive treatment. I felt very comfortable with the doctors here even more.

We were a family in crisis with our dog that had bitten 6 people and Dr Skolnik took her time explaining our options clearly so we could decide what direction to pursue with our dog. I used to go to Banyan, where they make you drop off your pets, and you can’t go in with them. I hated it, doesn’t make sense to drop off your already timid animal for hours on end. I’m so grateful for Arbor View!! No more greedy upselling for us, we’ve moved on to a better, and safer environment for our beloved pet!!

Fantastic experience: They took great care of my dog Leia. They even found a foxtail in her ear when she wasn’t showing any sign of her ear really bothering her. Very thorough and professional and they were super transparent about how much it may cost. Cost was very reasonable and they didn’t add a bunch of unnecessary fees or try to tell me my dog needed a ton of stuff that she didn’t really need like the Rocklin Road vet did. They even called the next day to check up on how my dog was doing after her procedure! Would 10/10 recommend. This is our go to vet now!

Negative experience: We have been going to the Arbor View Veterinary Clinic for 6 years, and unfortunately, our most recent visit with the new veterinarian did not leave us feeling good. This veterinarian clearly didn't review our chart before meeting with us, nor did we feel like she was interested in why we chose to come in. As the dog Mom, I felt dismissed, and the vet made her agenda and preferred treatments known. Then she wanted to take my dog out of the room to give the vaccines - that's never happened or been asked before. No warm fuzzies. We miss our previous veterinarian.

Fantastic experience: My 4 yr old boxer "Shadow" sniffed up a foxtail on our walk and I had to get him to a vet fast. His nose was bleeding, he was sneezing uncontrollably and kept shaking his head trying to get the thing out of there. My husband called Arbor View Vet Clinic and they were so helpful. Without any hesitation, the lady that answered the phone said, "Bring him in!" In less than 10 minutes of our arrival, they had Shadow in the exam room for sedation and removal of the foxtail. I was so relieved, and thankful for this Clinic and its staff. Everyone was so kind and eager to help, from the ladies at the desk to the Technicians and the Vet who did the removal. The Veterinarian (I think her name was Sydney) called me herself to explain everything, the procedure, the meds, and how Shadow would be feeling afterwards. She also told me I could call if any questions came up. Shadow slept most of the rest of the day, and was back to being his high energy boxer self the next day - and no sneezing! A technician from the clinic even gave me a call the next morning just to see how Shadow was doing. It's obvious they really care about their patients. Whether it's a routine visit or an emergency, I highly recommend Arbor View for your fur babies!

Our 19 year old Chihuahua goes in Once a month for his shot of librela That they suggested for him when he couldn’t hardly walk at all now he’s even running again. , It is a tech visit and all the techs are wonderful The doctors are wonderful I do have to mention sometimes it’s a little pricey, but they say you get what you pay for. I have to give credit to the Ladies and Gentlemen up front, they are awesome. The place wouldn’t even run without them. I don’t think I’m supposed to mention names on here, they know who they are. They are all well loved from our family.

Fantastic experience: It was the best veterinarian experience we've had in 20 years. They were super attentive and the Dr was super patient. Dr W. was in no rush to end our visit . She answered all our questions and treated us like she really cared. I traveled all the way from west sac and it's worth every mile. My little Frenchie will be in good hands. Also their prices were reasonable and not trying to sell extra things.

Fantastic experience: I was initially frustrated with our experience because our dog needed a dental procedure, and they only do those on Tuesdays—which happens to be one of my busiest days with my kids. I was hoping I could get a text or call when she was done, or at least a general timeframe for pickup. Since drop-off is around 7:30 AM and the procedure could happen anytime during the day (morning or afternoon), it’s hard to plan without an update. When I called ahead to ask, the gentleman I spoke to said they couldn’t provide updates and that pickup had to be by 6 PM no matter what since they close then. I understood, but it felt a little inconsiderate—especially since I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable, just a quick message so I could plan around my kids’ schedules. I left the call feeling a bit dismissed. However, my partner dropped off our dog the day of the procedure and spoke directly with the vet who would be doing the dental work. My partner said the vet was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. Then later that morning, around 10:30 AM, I actually received a call from the vet letting me know the procedure went well and that our dog could be picked up after 2 PM. That small gesture made such a big difference—it helped me organize my day and showed genuine thoughtfulness and respect for my time. In the end, while I started off frustrated, I was really happy with how things turned out. The veterinarian herself was wonderful, and that simple update completely changed my experience for the better.

Negative experience: Bad experience. Went in to get vaccine for the dog. They said they struggled getting the shot in. He got out of there shaking. Very scared. The dog is not the same since then.. scared all the time. Trying to bite us when we pet him. Peeing in the house. Maybe don't force it next time and just come talk to us.

Positive experience: I think the techs are outstanding. However, I had to wait 45min after arriving for an appointment and watched as those pets that arrived while I was waiting were treated and left. Not one person acknowledged my wait time to let me know whether or not I fell through the cracks. Would be nice if I was told we are sorry but we are running late and you will be next. This is not how I remember Arbor View clinic. Maybe overbooking???

Negative experience: I will no longer be going here absolutely unprofessional!!! I highly suggest anyone in the Roseville or rocklin area look elsewhere. The way I was treated as a client after I was referred here is absolutely insane to me. I called to schedule my dog a appointment because I’ve been noticing she was felling unwell and ill for the last three days they demanded me to go to the ER and denied access to me scheduling any appointments what so ever because they felt my dog was very ill but clearly they were not listing to anything I was saying or describing with my pet even though she was acting normal during these issues I knew my dog could last 2-3 days before the visit. So with the fear of my dog being deathly sick and dying I took her to the ER to come to find out she is slightly dehydrated and has some tension going on in her abdomen but should highly recommend just going to her normal vet clinic because it wasn’t too serious I called back to speak to a dr/manager and they way they treated this conversation was so unprofessional. Telling me sorry their receptionist are not psychics and can’t rear the room through the phone. Such a defensive and unprofessional attitude with so much sarcasm while talking over me and not allowing me to speak or listen to the reason why I was upset that I was pushed to go to the ER and spend more money that was unneeded. I will never be going back to this place. I felt unheard, I felt like I was a joke and I felt like if this is how they want to run their business that is completely on them. So unprofessional and absolutely disgusting on how I was treated I’m very disappointed that no sorry or no understanding was on their side to the reason of my emotions.

Fantastic experience: I found Dr. Rivera and the staff at Arbor View Vet to be very professional, organized, attentive and highly capable of identifying and managing health issues with my 14 year old cat. I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly the appointment went. I would not hesitate recommending them to a friend.

Negative experience: Wish I could leave a good review but scheduling follow ups left a lot to be desired. Our puppy came here for his vaccines. The doctor was nice. When we paid, we thought it was strange they didn't schedule our next appointment for the follow up round of shots, but figured they would call or text when he was due. A couple months go by and we received a text saying he's overdue for a visit. Mind you - we never received a text when he was actually due, only when he was overdue. When we called to schedule the appointment, we were told we had to restart his vaccines. When we asked why the follow up wasn't scheduled, they said the doctor we saw only works a couple times a month and might not know all the procedures. I guess that's something we should have been aware of? When we asked if they would waive the fee to restart the vaccine in light of the lack of follow up, the front office staff member said she'd check with her manager and get back to us. It's been seven days with no follow up. All in all, I wish we could go to this vet, they're very close to our home, but I don't want to have to chase them down to schedule follow up appointments.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit to this clinic, with our 5-month old puppy and the visit couldn't have gone any better. First the facility: impressively clean, very friendly staff at the front and back, the rooms were very well organized to make any animal feel welcome. Second of all, the doctor and her assistant, were absolutely fantastic and made a nervous puppy come out of her shell, very quickly and managed to do all that was needed with ease and super professionally. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a local veterinarian.

Fantastic experience: The veterinarians and the vet techs they're great. I've been coming here for a long time and I like it. They treat me and my animals well. But I just think the people behind the desk could be a little bit friendlier. A little more welcoming and acknowledge patrons when they walk in the door even if it's just a smile , I will be with you in a moment. One of the things that saddens me is their prices have gone quite higher and that's sad.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old Yorkshire terrier bear had a tore ACL and luxating patella, I went to Arbor for a second opinion and dr Sharon wedemeyer was very honest and gave me a lot of confidence answering all my questions and concerns about the surgery ,, I went ahead and decided to have the surgery done for my fur baby,, it’s been 2 weeks post surgery and so far he’s recovering very well ,,the insicion looked pretty healed by day 4-5, the surgery also was very affordable and only a fraction of what the other place was quoting me ,,,, when I called in on a monday at 7 am, they were able to give me an appointment the same week for Thursday ,, and by the following Monday he was in surgery ,,,, they are very caring and compassionate,,, they have gained a costumer for life, the staff is also very friendly and welcoming and they all seemed to really care about our pets

Fantastic experience: Love that they have so many veterinarian doctors so you can get in to see someone other than your primary vet when your pet has to be seen right away. Medication refills are quick. I usually call in a refill and it's ready with 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: We have always had very positive experiences with Arbor View. The doctors are very thorough in their explanations and answering our questions. They have always helped provide quotes and explore options to help reduce costs if possible. We feel safe bringing our dogs and cats here. The staff if extremely busy but always manage to serve with urgency and keep wait times very reasonable.

Positive experience: We've taken our dogs here since we have lived in Roseville. They have always done a great job of taking care of them. They know that our dog Cooper is very anxious when he goes in so they get him in a room quickly. We're very happy with the doctors and staff at Arbor View.
