Fantastic experience: I have been taking all my babies, past and present to Doddridge animal clinic since I first moved to Corpus Christi in 2020. The care and love they showed to my senior dog when she was in her sunset years, definitely impacted my choice to stay when we rescued my two wiley dachshunds with lots of allergies. The first year with them was a challenge, but Doddridge helped us sort it all out and they have been living their best crazy lives ever since. The Vets are kind and compassionate and the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. You can schedule your own appointments online and they take walk-ins during business hours for things like nail trims or emergencies. I definitively trust and recommend this clinic if you are looking for your forever Vet.

Negative experience: Terrible.\nThey don't even hear what you have to say about your pet , that , you know , they take them out of the room to check them out and then coming and tell you what's wrong in sitting what you see your dog doing and understanding what you're even there for

Fantastic experience: I needed an urgent care visit but the walk in office I typically go to was closed. I saw their office was close by so I walked in. They were able to get my cat in seen right away as soon as we came in. The Dr. was very kind and helpful. She even offered a B12 shot to help my pet feel even better quickly. I highly recommend their office and will be going back.

Fantastic experience: Moved here about a year ago and left a wonderful vet in California. The staff at Doddridge were great when one of our babies passed and are doing a great job of keeping my 17-year old boy going

Negative experience: I used to come to come to Dodridge a long time ago before they moved to their new building. I made an appointment online here because I was able to get my cat in faster who had an upper respiratory infection. I’ve worked at animal shelters before so I know what FELV and FIV looks like and I knew this is not what my baby had especially since I had him since he was 4 weeks old. The vet I saw was Dr Michelle Greenberg. She was nice to my cat but she wasn’t very friendly towards me. I felt like didn’t even bother to ask me questions didn't even bother to introduce herself and just went straight to examining him and when she finally addressed me she was talking way to fast and suggested antibiotics which is what I mainly came for. She then tried to push X-rays and bloodwork on me which I declined because 1. I have been very broke I had to gather the little money my husband and I had to be able to bring him in, 2. I knew he didn’t have FELV/FIV. I feel like after I declined the tests her demeanor changed and she became more cold towards me and kept bringing up the fact that I declined these tests. I tried to explain to her that all my cats had upper respiratory first but they got over it and that my little one and his littermate were the LAST to get sick but got hit the hardest and she tried to tell me that he could have had something when I took him in and I explained to her I had him since he was 4 weeks old. He is currently 5 months old. It’s not like I JUST adopted him. And he was fine before he got the URI. I felt like I wasn’t being heard and she spoke to me in a very condesending way. She did send us off with an antibiotic injection which I feel is already working and some immunity health chews. But I will not be back to this place. Especially not back to Dr Greenberg. The vet assistants and receptionists were very nice through. I still have to get my other cat treated for URI but I will be taking her somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite vet clinic! They are professional, caring, and I’ve never had an issue. They are always available for appointments, they answer all my questions and they really take the time to explain everything during appointments.

Negative experience: Got there n didn’t get much diagnosis but bad news then referee me to oso took my cat home n praying for the best for her she also told me I can take her back to help her pass but my cat is actually alert n doing better n actually moving around n trying eat

Negative experience: I am more they are great at what they do but a hold time of 13mins is outrageous. Then at minute 11 I was told she wasn’t sure how much longer she wasn’t the receptionist and all I need is pricing .. hilarious

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my dog and cat here for routine care for a couple years now. I’ve seen a couple of different doctors and they’ve both been fantastic - take time with my pets and are thorough in their evaluations. The Doddrige team is great at recommending appropriate preventative and routine care without pushing anything extra or unnecessary.

Negative experience: I had two street dogs I adopted. Both unfortunately had heartworm. I took them here to be treated. Both treatments were over $1k each. They were more concerned about running heart test/and heart pills versus treating the heartworm. (it was to get more money from me). No heartworm care was given. I was just told to keep giving them monthly heartworm pills. I unfortunately lost one of my angels to heartworm because of this clinics neglect to treat. It was all about the money not the pets care. I then took my other angel to my hometown vet over 100 miles away. My angel was treated for heartworm and is now clear from heartworm at a cost of $500. Well worth the drive to save my angel. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM.

Fantastic experience: Only regular vet in greater corpus area that would see my cat on an urgent walk-in basis. Got prompt service and several tests with treatment within an hour.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a vet last minute and the online appointment feature was so helpful. I made an appointment for the next day. The office is clean and the staff was very helpful. Prices were reasonable. I will definitely keep using this office.

Fantastic experience: I took my father's rescue Oscar, to see him home, after a full 15 year life. My father passed 5 years ago, but Oscar remained with my mother, who took him to this clinic. We called ahead and from the moment I checked in, until he crossed over, we were treated with the utmost dignity and respect. In my grief, I can't recall the names of the Veterinarian or the Vet Tech., but they were exceptional in every way. Thank you both for you compassionate care, at a time that is dreadful for all fur-baby families. I'm still tearing up a day later even as I type this review, but I could not forgo sharing what a wonderful Veterinary facility Doddridge is.

Positive experience: My dog, Macy, was a patient here and recently passed away from heart disease that I wasn't aware that she had. Last Friday she had a seizure so I rushed her into the emergency clinic and was told that she had a grade 6 heart murmer.I do remember the vet at Doddridge mentioning to me that she had one but wasn't bad enough to get put on meds. So after the emergency visit, a few days later I took Macy in to Doddridge to have xrays done in order to see what meds she needs to take for the heart murmer. The doc told me that she definitely had one but didn't think it was a 6. She gave me some meds for her and we went on our way. As soon as I left there Macy went down rapidly. She was very lethargic and her gums were turning white. I don't believe it was anything that the doc did at the time that caused this. So I rushed Macy to the emergency clinic once again and they took her back right away and hospitalized her. The vet there said her heart disease was progressing. She also told me that, after reviewing Macy's records from Doddridge, she noticed that on 4/30/2025 at Macy's last wellness exam, the doc notated that she had a grade 4-6 heart murmer. I was very shocked and confused. Why wouldn't they tell me about this and start her on meds then? So the vet tech at the hospital took me to Macy and I said goodbye for now and I'll see you when you're better tomorrow. A couple of hours later the doc called me and said that she was declining fast and trying to pass and asked me if I would give them the ok to euthanize her to help her pass. After screaming and crying at the top of my lungs, the doc was able to calm me down enough to talk to her. I was in such shock! My baby.. my heart.. the one I wake up for everyday was gone! My heart hurts tremendously! She was my world and now she's gone.. and so sudden! I don't know how I'll ever get over this. I am not angry with that doctor or the rest of the team at Doddridge, but I am hurt and confused. I don't understand why they didn't medicate her sooner. I have to say that they have all been pretty good to me there over the last approximately 10 years that I've been taking Macy there. Maybe something got overlooked, I don't know. I just felt the need to share my personal experience here.

Positive experience: I have gone multiple times for my dog's ear infection. They keep having to try different meds. Really can't get to the bottom of her illness in order to make her better. Each time we go I pay a good almost $300. Everyone is really professional but if this medication doesn't work this time around im going to have to go else where.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ochoa did a great job explaining the next steps when they were unable to remove a growth due to my elderly dog having a heart murmur. She was kind and patient and let us know the steps we needed to make our decision for treatment. I’ve enjoyed both of my visits to the doddridge animal hostipal and have found the staff to be very kind

Fantastic experience: We've been taking our dogs here for about a year and when we found our newest addition about a week ago (she was abandoned), we knew exactly where to take her. Raja was understandably nervous to be at the vet but they put her right at ease. I can't say enough positive things about the entire staff and facility but Dr. Wray and Megan definitely hold a special place in our family's hearts for always going above and beyond and loving our pets like their own!

Fantastic experience: Excellent pet care. My dog started having serious skin issues and he is already healing/feeling much better after 2 1/2 days. The staff is really nice and caring.

Negative experience: Where should I start? Brought in a stray that I adopted and it had mange. Took that cat to them and the doctor told me my cat was not worth it treating their mange. I moved a little further out and got my pets vaccines from another doctor and they wouldn't honor them. Said Which is weird because what's the point of bringing your pet's records from another doctor if they're not going to accept them? Botched my pet neutering. Misdiagnosed one of my pets twice! They would tell me one thing on the phone and when I would arrive completely change what they said. I was with them for 15 years and the last two I've just been horrendous. Doddridge used to be really good and then it's like somebody else started to mismanage it and it just became unorganized. I gave them one more shot for the last year and all I'm getting is inconsistencies and lack of professionalism. Time to just change it up. I just got to do what's best for my pets and it is not them.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak any more highly of this Animal Clinic. The staff is polite, and they got me an appointment right away. Unfortunately, during that visit, I discovered that my fur baby was very sick and suffering, and I made the decision to put him to rest. The staff was so kind and supportive during this very difficult time. They ensured I was aware of all my options and helped put my mind at ease. Fantastic experience: 10/10 Experience with Dr Delcambre! They did amazing with my cats vaccines (she’s a spicy kitty) highly recommend!

Negative experience: Some back story of everything with my sick cat (Thomas). Since June, Thomas started having a lack of appetite and experiencing extreme weight loss. I took him to the vet when i started noticing him turn away food entirely. He also started having a congestion noise when breathing. She(Dr. Sandy Harper) didn't really tell me anything besides maybe it being allergies, so she had put him on an antibiotic. This treatment had him eating pretty normally again. I took him back to the vet on July 15th, when I noticed his back legs start to lose function and get wobbly, it wasnt too bad, but I wanted to check it out just in case ( we saw Dr. Lisa Ochoa this time (who i felt was more attentive to my concerns than Dr.Harper), also thomas wasnt gaining any weight back still). That time, she did bloodwork, and only found that he had anemia and a uti but nothing else, no parasites or anything wrong with the heart. They gave me iron for the anemia, another antibiotic for the uti, and told me to switch to kitten food to help him gain weight. This didn't seem to be making him gain weight either, and I noticed his wobble getting worse, so I made another appointment for August 18th. In this appointment (with Dr. HARPER) which a friend went with me, she did x-rays and found that he had colliding discs in his back, so prescribed a long-term steroid to reduce inflammation to hopefully gain some motion and bladder control back. When I tell you, this woman made no indication that he was possibly in critical condition and just said that he may need surgery if this doesn't work to our liking... Well... then came Friday, August 22nd. I gave him a bath, dried him well and put on his diaper before i went about my day. Came home, and thomas had what looked like a seizure. I took him to the emergency vet and they said he was in a critical condition, so most likely, even with treatment, he would likely still pass. We ended up deciding to put him down. Needless to say I am very upset with this vet clinic because I took him in 3 times within a few months and they couldn't tell me a definite reason for why he wasnt gaining weight back. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong, but I literally followed their instruction on how to help him. I dont understand how in 4 days he could take such a large turn for the worse if he was fine enough for long-term steroids? I just feel like the vet was incompetent and there is no way she didnt know and just decided not to tell me. Or maybe she didnt know and couldnt tell me, either way i dont recommend coming here for your baby if you want answers. Seems to me like they just want the money and dont care too much about your pets wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: It was basically an in and out trip. Vet gave us a hint to not worry about the our cat being Diabetic, know what signs to look for. Both our cats got their shots with no problem.

Negative experience: If your pet needs surgery, don't expect to actually see or speak with a vet or surgeon. You can expect an estimate, pay your office visit, and no further plans or discussion on beginning treatment. And if you have questions, good luck finding anything out.

Negative experience: Take my two dogs here. Im a black male and definitely get treated like one. But I just keep chill and dont let the staff bother me. Dont have an appointment close to closing they will rush you and give you attitude. Only come here for my pets, Definitely not the staff. Felt rushed and overpriced. Tried to give this place a chance .. horrible service and they charge your card over and over eveyday $5, 85$ whatever you have in your account they charge multiple times a day and wont call and tell you about it.. Called them and the lady laughed at me and said she cant hear or understand me.. scam of a vet and the service to the animals (what its about) is questionable Cancelling today and finding a better doc for my pack. Never again.. you can only put one pet per plan so they really are scamming and only about the money.. Hopefully they are treating my pets better than me and actually giving them treatment. They are still attacking my bank account everyday around four times a day. To withdray whatever is i my account.. 85$ , $65 charges, 5$ charges, $1.33 .. money hungry .. only had two appointments and this place is horrible service. Wont cancel without hassling you for every cent. No phone calls or reciepts or notification of charges, just charging card everyday multiple times.

Fantastic experience: I love bringing my pups to this vet clinic. I was able to get in within a timely manner. Everyone is so nice and loving to our pups and I feel nothing but comfortable with the care they provide. Location is clean. I would highly recommend bringing your pets here for care.

Fantastic experience: I love my vet and so do my Pomeranians. My littlest did get a little up set when she had to share the waiting room with a big dog. She got over it once she let the big dog know who was in charge.

Negative experience: Do not go to this clinic they will hang up in your face when you ask for higher authority. Have huge attitudes I would bring my loving baby to someone who cares.

Fantastic experience: I had my 9 mo. old great dane puppy spayed on July 17, 2025. She also had an umbilical hernia that was repaired at the same time, & was microchipped. Everything went perfectly! I dropped her off at 7:30am & picked her up at abt 4:30pm. Today is the 3rd day since her procedures & she is doing great! I'm very satisfied with the staff & of course the surgeon at Doddridge Animal Clinic. They are very professional, friendly, & eager to answer any questions or concerns I might have. A member of the staff also called me the morning after the surgery to see that all was going well with my pet. I've been taking my pets to Doddridge Animal Clinic for over 15 yrs, & I highly recommend them to friends, family & anyone needing a good Vetinary Clinic to care for their pets.

Fantastic experience: My shih tzu was feeling lethargic and could barely walk. Doddridge Animal Clinic worked with me to get me the best care for my animal within my financial means. The vet was really good at explaining to me options as well as the test examination results. The wait time is not long at all. They make you feel like a person and realize your pet is an extension of your family. I had my animals at another vet prior but will definitely be coming back to Doddrige from now on. My babies have a new vet now. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, and I was seen pretty quick considering I called last minute and they were able to squeeze me in without appt. My doggo had some very itchy skin condition (not fleas). Was quick considering the short staff due to holiday weekend. Thank you doggo is much much better

Negative experience: Vet is very knowledgeable but the staff is horrible they don’t return your call or relay proper messages to the vet I had to call 3 times in one day on waiting for a response. Miranda is rude and has attitude. The drive across the bridge to Portland Animal Clinic is worth friendly and caring staff and excellent veterinarian.

Negative experience: I wasn't impressed with my experience at this clinic. Check-in felt disorganized, even though I had filled out the paperwork online ahead of time. It was our first visit, and while the tech was friendly, the doctor who attended to us seemed to rush through the examination with Roscoe, our English Bulldog. She didn’t give him the chance to relax, which caused him a lot of stress—he even peed during the appointment. I suggested that allowing him to sniff the tools might help him feel more at ease since it was his first time there, but she barely tried. We only chose this clinic because our regular vet had no openings, and we wanted Roscoe to be seen quickly. Although they provided helpful information, the overall experience could have been much better.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Wray and her nurse Kim were amazing with my husky. They were so gentle, helpful and everything that a vet office should be. They made my husky, Meeka feel better after she injured her leg and back. I was so worried but her expertise and treatment was amazing and my dog was feeling better by the next day. I highly recommend Dr.Wray and her staff.

Fantastic experience: My first visit with my elderly German Shepherd couldn’t have gone better. I was extremely impressed with the veterinarian and staff. I highly recommend this clinic for anybody living in the Corpus Christi area. The pricing is lower than most in the area also.

Negative experience: Doddridge Animal Clinic IS the worst that we have ever been to. They refused to let us go back with our babies even though one had just had spinal surgery and had to be held a certain way to avoid injuries. They seem to only care about their bottom line and nickel and dime you to death. They are rude and talk down to people and are very unpleasant. We will never go back!!!

Fantastic experience: They are always so kind, my parents have been coming to this clinic since before they got their new location. Their new location is located nicely placed where there isn't foot traffic if your pet needs to go outside, lots of grass. Inside the office there is plenty of space to sit and still have space to yourself. We have a difficult dog (Max) he has to be put under to get a bath or a trim or anything really (he is a sensitive dirty mop looking dog) even if they don't have time they try their best to work him in all at once to get seen and bathed (really almost everytime) THANK YOU FOR BEING SO GOOD TO OUR FURRY FAMILY

Fantastic experience: Booking online was very convenient, I love that I can make an appointment and be seen fairly quickly with hardly any wait. The vet and tech were very kind, patient and answered all my questions. They were very knowledgeable and gave me awesome recommendations for products to look into for my dogs’ condition. I will be recommending this vets office to all my friends, family and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: Very sweet Dr. She was compassionate,understanding and so gentle with my 16 year old cat "Monkey" I will highly recommend this animal hospital.

Negative experience: We've been going to Doddridge for a long time. Never really had any problems until recently. I do not recommend going on a Saturday with any level of walk in/emergency. This facility was 0 for 2 for my family. Just needed a few stitches for my dog but was told I was going to have to be referred to another facility for that. So that's frustrating to trade shifts to not get what would help the most. The second occurrence was for my parents, they are retired city workers who recently moved here from across the country. Finding everything sucks for anyone. And it was a helluva welcome experience when we heard they were turned away on a Saturday because the facility "hit their cap" on emergencies/walk ins for the day. I had to stop by later that same day and get my dog's Rx. When I walked up to the desk, there were 3 ladies sitting and didn't acknowledge me until it was obvious that I'm not just going for a walk in the neighborhood and needed something. There wasn't a single guest/pet at all either, so why turn away my parents when something could have been done to help their dog? I'm normally the type to roll off my back a lot but my takeaway from that day was, heartless. I'm sure there is going to be some kind of attempt to justify the facility's lack of professionalism but nah, we are now set at a new facility who has been genuine from the moment I called and asked for help for my parents dog. Gave 2 stars for Dr. Ochoa, give her a raise for sure.
