Fantastic experience: Dr Tweed specializes in bulldogs. The advice and knowledge she's shared with me has been incredibly helpful. Trying to solve my English bulldogs health problems were largely going nowhere with previous veterinarians I saw. One visit with Dr Tweed and I saw immediate improvement.

Fantastic experience: I visit this vet clinic frequently for my dog and can’t say enough good things about them. The entire team is consistently kind, welcoming, and compassionate, and they truly care about both pets and their owners. Special shout out to Dr Tweed and Dr Plaza who are always so knowledgeable and consistently provide exceptional care and kindness. I’m so grateful to have a clinic like this that I trust completely.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous vet office! It's really busy at Northeast Veterinary Hospital... But that doesn't mean they're not paying attention to details! I was concerned about a cat I rescued and they had openings within a couple days of my inquiry. Once there, Dr Christensen and the vet tech were kind, thorough, explained things clearly, and were quick while also being personable. I received a written estimate for care without having to ask. I felt prices were very reasonable. My extended family recommended this office to me and I'm glad. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Really awesome first experience for a semi anxious dog from the technician and vet! Excited to have found our new vet in Seattle. Really reasonably priced too

Fantastic experience: We have taken our dogs to NE Vet for over 30 years. Always excellent care - staff is friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Northeast Veterinary Hospital, and the biggest shoutout to Dr. Mandel and the vet techs/assistants, and receptionist Colin. 3 out of 4 of my pets are very sweet and lovely, but one dog is not good with strangers and is very reactive/fearful at the vet. We have been to other facilities that rush that dog and treat him like an annoyance. Dr. Mandel at NE Vet is AMAZING with nervous pets. She takes her time letting them acclimate, and never makes us feel like a burden. She is empathetic to the animals AND the people, and helps coach her teammates in how to deal with my reactive dog. Also Colin on the phone is always SO nice and helpful, as are the rest of the staff in reception. Vet care is expensive everywhere- I do find that NE Vet is more reasonable than other places, and they also are not pushy for treatment options. HIGHLY recommend the team at NE Vet.

Negative experience: We brought our dog in because he had been scratching and chewing at himself, and we wanted to have him checked for fleas. His coat is very thick, so it was hard for us to check on our own. The clinic said they didn’t find any fleas but still charged us $550 for the visit and bloodwork. When our dog continued to scratch and chew, we took him to an emergency vet the next day. They asked to shave around the affected area and immediately found fleas, charging $400 for the visit and treatment. We ended up spending $900 just to confirm something the first clinic missed because they didn’t take the time to do a proper exam. Horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wrycha has taken care of my English Bulldog since she was a puppy and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Recently I’ve been working with Dr Tweed and she is amazing. Definitely feel like we are in good hands.

kristen Skogerboe Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Dr fisher was so patient and generously explained possibilities of what was going on with our dog. Luckily it was likely just a cold and he was very understanding and made us so glad we took the dog to the vet so we did not worry

Amy Pomp Lorette Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Switched to NE after receiving somewhat apathetic care at our previous vet. Received thorough, kind care at NE. Doctor explained everything thoroughly and was kind to our pup.

Sean Chandler Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: We have always loved NE Veterinary. They are amazing and they really know their French Bulldogs so they are the only ones who treat our Pepper.

Jennifer Lee Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: We brought our dog Jojo in for his vaccine updates, and the entire team was incredibly kind and supportive. Jojo is in his adolescent phase and tends to be a bit skittish and reactive, but the technician who worked with him showed remarkable patience, allowing him to take things at his own pace so the experience remained calm and positive. We also requested a nail trim, which is usually a challenge at home, and once again, the technician went above and beyond—she thoughtfully devised a gentle approach and enlisted a few team members to offer plenty of positive reinforcement, which Jojo absolutely loved. It’s clear they genuinely care about every animal that walks through their doors and tailor their care to meet each pet’s unique needs.

Fantastic experience: My experience bringing in my 13-year-old cat Valentino went great. The care he received fixed the problem (a fever) and they treated Valentino with kindness and compassion. Excellent communication, too.

Fantastic experience: Actually interacted with a living, breathing, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. What a concept. The Vet Tech, Sean, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The only one who was unsure was my dog, Little Man; but he soon stopped shaking.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, caring and thorough. They took good care of our pet and took time to answer all of my questions.

Heide Sickles Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Our dog had seemingly recovered from a day of vomiting which was followed by a day of acting and eating normally. However, the third day she had numerous bouts of diarrhea. We called the NE Vets with our concerns and they were able to see her that day and medication (and time) resolved the problem.

Fantastic experience: My dog had dental work done. She is insulin dependent and the doctors an staff managed her very well. I got calls beforehand to ensure she was ready for her procedure.

liz barrett Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: We came from Coeur D Alene, Idaho after seeing 2 other Veterinarians. Dr Mandel was able to diagnose our dog’s pain. Highly recommend this clinic. Natasha was great too!

Jeanne Farrow Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Staff are always professional and courteous. Staff, techs and vets always communicate clearly. Everyone shows how much they care about our pets. We have appreciated working with Dr. Christensen, Dr. Ward, Dr. Edwards, Dr. Trostle, and Dr. Mandel, and we count ourselves fortunate to have such a superior service in our neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: I walked in with an unhappy pup and walked out with a very happy and energetic pup. Doc manipulated his joints it must have fixed whatever was wrong with him.

Jane Dewell Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: My 3 cats and I are regulars (when needed), as well as my past cats (there were 4 more), and we've been served well by NE Veterinary Hospital.

Leslie Horton Posted on Google 7 months ago

Negative experience: I am very unhappy with this vet clinic and I am leaving their services. They misdiagnosed my cat with arthritis instead of neurological problems. This is, admittedly, a possibly easy mistake to make, as I was TOLD by NVH that the symptoms are hard to distinguish early on. But after paying THOUSANDS of dollars to them for several YEARS for laser therapy and other treatments, with no improvement (and actually he deteriorated), it wasn't until I inquired about rehabilitation services for him that a vet TECH suggested Sound Rehabilitation Center, which is where we finally discovered the truth. Because it was an easier error to make and Northeast Vet Clinic is down the street from me, I decided to get general care there for him still, simply to continue getting his prescription food for urinary crystals. Had there been no misdiagnosis OR if someone had suggested getting him checked further sooner, he might still be able to walk. Furthermore, this clinic crams their appointments so close together that they have NO grace period (not even five minutes) if you are running a few minutes late... because it's REALLY HARD to run home from work and get your disabled kitty into a carrier, especially when he pees on you every time! I have been turned away from my appointment before because I was 3 minutes late. And finally, today, I brought him in for an annual exam JUST to get his Urinary SO food prescription renewed... and was told I had the appointment on the wrong day, it's tomorrow. I wouldn't have scheduled that because I am not available tomorrow. I am certain this is their mistake and not mine. Overall, we haven't gotten the best care there, and I have lost thousands of dollars over treatments that turned out to be completely useless. It is not a terrible clinic, they have some good staff, and they have strong reviews... I have just had too many less than awesome experiences there that add up and it's just not the best place for us to be anymore.

Fantastic experience: Our large orange cat had some of his front claws growing into his foot pads. The young lady who treated him was very careful and gentle with him. He is much more comfortable now.

Fantastic experience: We are so happy at Northeast Veterinary Hospital! We have a highly excitable Jack Russell Terrier and she had to have a procedure this week that we were kind of worried about. Everyone at NE Vet was so kind and caring and they said Poppy did such a great job through the procedure and was such a well-behaved girl! It was a great report as she was so nerved up at her last vet that I couldn’t even get her in the front door. I am so thankful we found NE Vet and made the switch, and so is our sensitive little JRT, Poppy!

Ellen Aagaard Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: The Northeast veterinary care team is amazing. When we arrived with our beloved Buhund in crisis, the vet techs got her stabilized with fluids, and helped us make a decision about how to handle her emergency care in a way that felt both medically responsible and allowed her to be with the people she knows and loves best. Both veterinarians made sure to communicate with us directly (a personal phone call, after hours!) and with one another, so as we pursued further testing the test results and what they indicated made sense both to the vet team and to us. Our girl is doing way better (and she loves her special diet...even the kibble version), and we are so, so grateful for the incredibly care she--and we--received at Northeast Veterinary Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Or 16-year-old kitty is always treated like a princess. I always feel that she gets exactly what she needs without any excess from Dr. Christiansen.

Fantastic experience: Our puppy caught a kennel cough and we were really worried. Northeast Vet Hospital was able to get us in that day. Kaylie and the Doctor(I’m sorry I forgot his name) were wonderful! He is already doing much better. Thank you. -M

Fantastic experience: Reception was excellent - cordial and efficient manner. Answered phones much more quickly than a few years ago. Vet techs were gentle with my little dog and listened to my concerns. Dr. Kures was prompt and kind and explained his findings. He listened to my concerns about my little dog and after the a couple visits for diarrhea looks like we’ve got him on the right path to recovery. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Super Veterinary Hospital! They take the time to give your pet the best care they can. And they are understanding of your particular needs and situation too. They are also super accessible with their text messaging service. This makes it easier to ask questions when you don't have time to call.

Georgine Dellisanti Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I trust the Vets I have seen, and they have been responsive to my questions when I have concerns. Never Clinic is also responsive to scheduling and such—/ friendly folks.

C. Loudon Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I received my pets refill the same day and the tech in charge of prescriptions came out to let me know my dogs medicine was being discontinued, and they would help me each time I refill to get a generic brand at a cost savings. Much appreciated!

Jeannie Summerhays Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I always get great service at Northeast Veterinary Hospital. Our last visit was in follow-up to my old kitty being diagnosed with kidney disease. I really like that we’re working together to help her out as much as possible. Dr Turner was great as well as Kylie. The front desk folks are always attentive and professional!

Nazani Adams Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I took my cat in for a routine exam and they were so sweet with him. They even gave him a nail trim for free (it’s for everyone not just me). He was very dramatic on the way there but once we got there he calmed down and didn’t fuss the whole exam. They’re a great team and I highly recommend them for your fur babies

Cheryl Williamson Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: The tech and doctor were very nice and informative. My dog was comfortable with both of them. I’m hoping that the meds they gave him will help him deal with the fireworks! All in all a very good visit!

Deena G Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: We had nare and palate surgery done today, and even though it's only been a few hours, we see a world of difference in our frenchie Mando. Dr. Tweed is amazing and I highly recommend her. It was well worth the drive from Port Orchard. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with NE Vet since 2009. I really appreciate all the veterinarians and the techs. You are all understanding and i feel offer solid advice, not necessarily advising testing when would not reveal more than what we are doing, and advocating for appropriate cares. You have been amazing and accommodating and prices fair. Thanks for all you do

S Chun Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Best veterinarians in the North Seattle area. Competent support staff. A pleasure to go there and reduces the stress on my dogs. Thank you for being there for my community. Dr. Tweed gave my dog a shot for her allergies, that she’s had for at least two years, and finally she is so much better! I’m so relieved that something can give her some comfort and relief.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been taking our pets to NE Vet since the 1970s. I can’t say enough good things about them. They have very convenient hours, it’s easy to schedule and the communication is excellent. I feel like the vets and staff really love animals and it shows. I’ve recommended them to several friends who have also been happy there. My dogs have always received excellent and compassionate care there. My daughter’s experience with her cat was also really good. Shout out to Dr. Edwards and Dr. Turner who have provided care through our pet’s most recent illness.

Paul Ciechanowski Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Dr Mandel and Megan were wonderful with both of our dogs at Chauncey’s appointment. Dr Mandel refilled meds for our second dog who came along to Chauncey’s appointment. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: My family has been coming here for three generations! I've always had amazing doctors for my cats, and everyone is attentive, as well as thorough. ❤️

Positive experience: Breakdown. -1. Spam. This hospital will enlist your email address and phone number for reviewing their business and fulfilling a survey. I never signed up for this willingly. +1. Hours. Their hours are convenient for my schedule. +1. Customer Service. They are great at answering questions and providing assistance with concerns. +1. Hospitality. The space itself is clean and without plenty of seating for pets and owners alike. +1. Parking. The business is located on a lot that has plenty of parking. Note, the following review was created after I received a solicitation to review their business after a review appointment. I am not reviewing this business at random. Your experience will, naturally, vary.

Negative experience: Had a really disappointing experience with Dr. Erik Christensen. Right from the start, he seemed skeptical and dismissive of me and my dog. He barely said what he was doing during the exam and didn’t ask any questions you’d usually think of at a new appointment. He handled my obviously scared puppy in a way that just made things worse. At one point, after he mishandled her (without giving any reassurance or comfort on the table to her as well), she got scared, and scratched him while trying to jump off of the table, he looked at me seriously and said, “Your dog’s temperament could be a danger.” That was totally inappropriate and ignored what he caused by his own handling. My dog had been to another vet recently and was calm the whole time…this wasn’t normal. Both me and the person with me have tons of daily hands on experience raising and working with dogs, but he acted like he couldn’t have cared less about what we had to say. Our input was brushed off rudely, like we were being dramatic or overstepping by trying to stand up for a scared dog. No effort to work with us or understand the situation at all. Also, the exam rooms only have audio recording, no video, which is a serious problem. When animals can’t speak for themselves, that’s a huge gap in accountability and transparency. I do not make reviews often. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with a sensitive or anxious dog

Kristen Kennedy Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Needed to see a vet for an eye injury my dog had and was able to get in quickly. Everyone was professional and helpful. I didn’t have to wait very long and it was very affordable. I’m transferring care to this clinic.

Evelyn Vinopal Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: We have gone to Northeast veterinary Hospital for over 20 years. We have always had excellent service. The vets are knowledgeable and caring.

Sarah Hamrick Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: I have taken my rescue dog and cat here for nearly 4 years now. I appreciate NE Vet working with me to navigate their unknown pasts and develop a good care plan for them. Same day appointments have been such a comfort to me and help me feel supported when the "out of the ordinary" things happen with pets. I deeply appreciate the phone and in person conversations I have had with reception as well as the Dr's when I need advice on care for my pets.

Isabelle Santana Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: The clinic already knows that I’m a yapper so get comfy and apologies in advance. Apparently I’m part of the well known Banfield Refugee community - learned that the hard way. My experience with Banfield was pretty terrible due to the lack of communication which led me to believe something was wrong with my cat or she was dead. I ended up leaving them after I had a panic attack and thought she really was dead and was about to throw a fit cuz I was also convinced they were not planning to give me my cat back cuz they just wouldn’t call me back until like 4PM (I had dropped her off for the very first appointment of the day like before 9AM) when I just couldn’t be polite anymore and was about to cuss them out when finally they told me she is perfectly fine and I can pick her up… but they close at 6PM sooooo had I not called, were they just going to keep her without telling me??? I know front desk can’t speak on anything medically most of the time but could you at least tell me she’s alive… so that ended up with me paying for a whole year’s worth of the wellness plan I had just signed up with them just 2 days prior plus an extra $100 for cancelling plus for the services already performed so far so in total about $700 which idc how much u make - that is quite a price to pay for what I just described lol. I have no problem with the staff themselves - they’re so amazing - but whatever system Banfield has them use is terrible and setting them up for failure :( I have since switched to here and it has been a complete 180 - my cat and I love it here! Communication is exactly how I need it (which is excessive… so perfect for me lol) and the people are amazing and so accommodating with my terrible memory and processing. I was unfortunately mean to them today cuz I ended up having to go to the emergency vet and was just being an annoying/rude princess. I did clarify I wasn’t mad at them and I was just freaking tf out and I sent a whole long response of the current update on my cat and I apologized for my previous emails and yeah like I had an emergency with my baby but that’s not a good enough excuse when they’re literally just trying their best to help me. Their response was written so perfectly with no mean intent at all - just saying they understand and were sorry about the whole situation and to keep them updated to continue to provide the best care she deserves and wished her well. Thank you guys again <3 Here are a couple pics of Eevee cosplaying as a shrimp. Oh and check out my review on Timberline Vet Emergency and Specialty.

Positive experience: 6-13-25 update Recently took our pups in for dental cleaning and another had cardiology echo previously. During the dental One dog had 2 teeth pulled and other 9 and it was not unexpected. We got appropriate instructions and pain meds. Staff were excellent. Dr. Wrycha was communicative after procedure. Front desk went smoothly - they always are busy, but they do watch out for clients waiting help and acknowledge me. Phone is getting answered. Questions answered. I find it a very efficient operation with time enough for compassion and caring expressions. They had a recent (past couple years) influx of new docs to address post covid staffing shortage and we have seen several and while young, they all have great attitudes, professional, caring and knowledgeable. I don't feel we were getting upsold with services either which is important to me, but I do appreciate having a range of options offered. One Doc found an underlying heart murmur developing and grateful for her good ears! ;-) I like consistency in which Dr. we see and prefer to stick with one. Seems like we had to see different vets in order to be seen in a timely manner in the past, but I think they are working hard to get consistent staffing (tough these days everywhere it seems) and moving in the right direction. I am definitely seeing more consistent faces there. Super happy with NE Vet Hospital and their direction and leadership. 6-19-24 update E-mail Sent directly and copied here. We had a visit with Dr Ivory yesterday and it was our first with her. My husband and I both liked her and her tech Ezra. Dr Ivory came across as caring and listening. She sat right down on the floor with Buster and was very empathetic to him and sympathetic to us. The cold and slippery exam table was folded up. I get that not all vets can physically get down there but I love that she can and did. She did a thorough check. Answered all our questions. She Gave us realistic options for treatment and costs. No high pressure sales. At other clinics we have been given a confusing page of options itemized by costs and we don’t like that approach. I want to be guided the way the vet would treat her own dog and then options based on that. She admitted she didn’t know why he felt so crummy and that he didn’t “check any boxes” for what was wrong. I like that honesty too. Fortunately Buster was his old self the next day after passing a lot of gas. We got a follow up text next day also which is appreciated. Just wanted to pass the good stuff along. ————————————//// Older review We have been going here for many years since we started rescuing, fostering and adopting dogs. We tend to prefer sticking to a few vets who get to know us like Dr. Edwards. We trust her implicitly. Her bedside manner with animals and people is stellar. Her technical competency is without question. She can be hard to get an apt with, but she tries to squeeze us in when needed. Several vets are reasonable with cost effective approaches and I don’t feel like high priced treatment is pressured - most have realistic approach and offer all budget options. I have seen high pressure sales in other states and I don’t feel that here. I have also seen vets elsewhere who don;t seem to like what they do and I don’t see that here. Staff too seem to want to do what they do and so far all techs have been very good and caring and concerned. Parking is easy. Hours are very good for us. One star off for prices, but probably reflective of the area economy. Medications we’ve used comparable to online prices it seems. `Over the years several vets have treated many of our dogs and at one time diagnosed a very rare blood condition which was investigated and solved with tenacity. This is not the most conveniently located vet for us, and we have many choices, but we are happy to travel for the care we get. We’re sticking with this vet office!

Fantastic experience: NE Vet Hospital has many vets, vets techs and other employees that are all top notch. We have been going there for almost 30 years, first with cats, then dogs. We love the facility, the employees, the docs and everything.

Fantastic experience: I have taken my pets to NW Vet Hospital since 1988. I have always had great empathy from the professional staff as well as the front desk staff. For the past several years, I have mostly seen Dr. Christensen. He has helped me make some hard decisions about my pets' healthcare and it is much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: This is the review I gave a friend with a new pup: Irecommend "NE Veterinary on 35th NE....(close to Jane Adams). A very discerning, close friend has been going to one of the docs there for years. The practice has evolved to include several docs. Historically I have felt that rotating docs have meant lack of continuity. Coop was the first of my dogs to go there....during COVID, no less.... We have seen 4 or 5 different docs and like them all...moreover care has been great!!" Coop is currently recovering from surgery on his left ankle. Follow up care has been impeccable!

Fantastic experience: We were in town visiting a niece on our trip to Alaska. We needed to get a CVI document for our dog within 30 days of entering Alaska. The office staff were very helpful in scheduling our appointment before we left Tennessee. The communication was excellent and very happy with the vet technician and veterinarian.

Fantastic experience: Great staff. Dr. Kures was very efficient and thorough along with the vet tech our dog's check up was a positive experience. All our questions were answered. We really like the audio transcription now in use, let's us know what Dr. Kures' assessment was as he's performing the check up. Front Desk staff was also great.

Fantastic experience: We arrived about 5 minutes before scheduled appointment. The technician came right out to get my kitty. She took her to the exam room and clipped her nails and had her back out in the lobby within 5-8 minutes. Very stress free! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Harley has had a great experience, she loves visiting all the doctors at Northeast Vet. We have had an ongoing issue that we are trying to figure out and I appreciate the approach, one step at a time. We are able to call in to ask questions when needed. Harley especially loves all the pets, and treats.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my animals to Northeast Veterinary Hospital for over twenty years. From the receptionists, to the techs, to the vets, Northeast Veterinary Hospital stands out in terms of professionalism, promptness, bedside manner, quality of care and honestly. An extra heartfelt thank you to Drs. Plaza, Turner and Ivory who recently helped my dog during his final chapter. They took excellent care of my pup during his final months and I am endlessly grateful to them for that. I would recommend Northeast Veterinary Hospital to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The best care ever for my 2 sweet girls. Diagnosis, surgery, treatment and end of life care could not have been more. Thank you Dr. Mandel, Katelin, Meghan and all.

Fantastic experience: NE veterinary hospital is the best care anywhere! I have been going there for 20 years and they are amazing. They always go the extra mile to support pets and their owners in whatever way they can. I would give them more stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service for my dog. He is a min pin mix and gets rather nervous at the vet. The staff made him feel much more relaxed. I highly recommend Northeast Veterinary Hospital.

Fantastic experience: They have very experienced vets. Multiple of my pets have been here (dog and cat) and they have always done well. Dr. Christianson has been out main provider and he always tells you like it is. He gives his clinical experience with issues and overall a great person. The techs and assistants are always kind and caring even through our dog passing away a year and a half ago. Their prices and availability has always been awesome as well. Thanks team!

Negative experience: I would never recommend this Veterinary Clinic. It is a factory. I have a 15 yr old Poodle who became ill. Her Vet of 15 yrs had sold his practice. I had my dogs records sent to NW Veterinary Clinic. My dog was seen, considerable money was spent, tests were done, no diagnosis except to say she’s old. And they wanted to keep going. Lucky for her and me I was able to track down her vet of 15 yrs. It was her infected Molar. He asked me why they gave her a rabies shot that she is not due for until 2027. Like I said, factory. Lastly, I called in medication for her, and they never responded. They seem to be more involved with expansion than examination. Camille Colaizzo

Fantastic experience: We have been visiting this place since we bought our first pup. We are very happy with the service and support from everyone here. Easy to get appointments and staff are very friendly. Our Cherry was well taken care of each time we visited them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my dog to Northeast Veterinary Hospital for the past five years, and I can’t say enough about the exceptional care we’ve received. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond. My dog has required a lot of attention over the years due to various health issues, and it’s been such a relief knowing she’s in such capable hands. I highly recommend NEVH to anyone looking for top-notch care for their pets!

Fantastic experience: The veterinary staff, both docs and tech, are considerate and helpful and I rarely have a long wait to get my animals in. The prices are high, but ... that's today's world. I moved to Bothell four years ago but I still drive down to Northeast Veterinary Hospital when my Minnie cat needs care.

Fantastic experience: I've moved to Bothell (three years ago) but I still drive down to Northeast for my cat's veterinary treatment. I have never had a bad experience and find the techs, admin and doctors to be caring and knowledgable. Thanks for being worthy of my trust and for taking such good care of my aging kitty.

Fantastic experience: My dogs have been patients for over 15 years. NE VETS are the greatest my dogs have had the best care possible. Everyone is caring and professional. I would recommend them to any pet owner!

Fantastic experience: Both of my old cats have needed visits to NE vet in the past year or 2 . I have reliably found them extremely patient explaining conditions and options to me and gentleness dealing with my critters. I highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: The front office staff were friendly. My wait time was brief. Dr Ivory and the vet tech were amazing! My cats don’t do well with vet visits but they adapted to what the cats needed. This will be our vet clinic!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my pets to Northeast veterinary Hospital for 29 years now. I’ve been seeing primarily Dr. Fisher for the last 11 years since he and his wife and another veterinarian bought the clinic from Dr. Reeves. I can’t imagine going anywhere else with these little lives that are the most important thing in my world. A week ago today I took all four of my dogs in for their yearly annual exam. Dr. Fisher found a very small mammary cyst in my female that I hadn’t noticed yet. He was able to get her into surgery yesterday which was six days. Still waiting for the results of the biopsy which will take a week but the staff is always so kind, thorough and efficient. I drive all the way across town from White Center to Wedgewood because I absolutely believe that my dogs care. It is very important for me for my veterinarian to know me well and my dogs well. I have only the most positive things to say about Northeast veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Fisher And the lead veterinary technician, Kai

Fantastic experience: We love NE vet hospital & Dr. Christensen & team. I've reviewed them before, but wanted to share another excellent experience. Our 2 dogs, a 17 year old Italian Greyhound & 7 year old Xoloitzcuintle are very different and the NE Vet staff always treat them with kindness & compassion. Our Xolo is very shy/ fearful and the staff go out of their way to make him comfortable. We love that Dr. Christensen explains things thoroughly and let's us know what options we have. We have also had wonderful experiences w/ Dr. Edwards & Dr. Dyungian. We feel very lucky to NE Vet in our neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: I drive a ways to see Dr. Tweed and it’s worth it! She knows the breed well and always takes such good care of our dogs.

Fantastic experience: Great local vet. Offers limited same-day appointments if you call first thing in the morning. Responsive and caring staff.

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old Labrador has been a patient since he was a puppy. The doctors are great. Dr Edwards is a favorite. Our dog navigated some melonoma and were pleased with Dr Edwards advice and referrals for treatment. Scheduling was bumpy during Covid, but now seems more normal . They get you in and take care of him.

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience starting with the process of appointment to consultation with doctors for my cat. It was my first time here after moving from California. Doctors are good, they are knowledgeable and patiently answer any questions. The facility is large and clean.

Positive experience: 5 Star for Dr. Ivory. 3 star before we met her after 12 years of many different vets. She brings the quality of care up that much there.

Allan Black Posted on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: Edit: I still recomend this veterinarian office. However of 5 stars means anything I feel I should remove 2 stars from my original 5, based on an unfortunate situation that bugs me to no end. Vets don't have a lot of time to get to know your dogs whole history, and have general "good practice" advice. But what i find very harmful is when general good advice is given with a lot of fear mongering based on incomplete evidence, and without reviewing the history of your pet before using fear to convince you of changing a aspect of your pets life. Grain free food has raised some concerns in the field of vet-science. The data pool is heavily bias due to noise in the data. The FDA has concluded that they see no data that shows a strong enough coalition to even have an opinion. And have stopped reviewing data until veterinarians can isolate the data to show coelation or show a mechanism that would indicate a posible link. I understand the better safe than sorry mentality. I don't think grains are bad or good. But my dog specifically found life altering success with grain free good, saving her from a life of misery. The vet told me I should feed a grain inclusive diet because they are seeing an increase in heart conditions linked to grain free foods. To me felt like a gut check with 0 nuance. Perhaps this would have been better: "Is there a reason you are feeding a grain free food? OK, well just to inform you we are seeing a small increase in heart conditions in dogs. There is some suspicion it might be linked to grain free foods. Given your dog is likely not prone to heart conditions, given the breed, the increase may be very minor if any at all. But perhaps, if it makes sense for your dog you might try some of the other grain options and see if they work well for your pet. Again, no cause for alarm, but as we research this uptick in reported cases it might give you peace of mind while we sort it out." This concern around grains is almost 5 years old at this point and this is the first time they have raised concerns. Odd given as time goes on the concern is losing posible validity. Did NE Vet change ownership? This feels like some Banfield nonsense. I understand the Mars corporation owns nearly all of vet research, science is expensive and I understand there is no dark conspiracy. But I would like if they would not write the script my vet reads to me, because that does feel like an ethical issue. --original 5 star review-- I've been to a lot of vet offices as I kove around. One thing you have going for you at NE Vet is your ability, weather feigned or genuine, to make me feel like you love my dogs as much as I do. You take a moment to say hi, and get those pets in while reinforcing how cute and great they are. Just makes me happy and builds trust both with me and with my two goofy dogs. Thanks for being awesome.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my pets to NE Veterinary Hospital for the last 20 years and just got two new kittens so I’ll be a client for 15-18 more years! Every Vet, Vet tech and front desk staff is amazing, knowledgeable and compassionate. They are THE BEST.

Laura Quan Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I have taken my dogs here for over 15 years. The vets, technicians, and front staff are compassionate, patient, and amazing. I feel that they truly care about my dogs. The vets don't push you to get unnecessary treatments or procedures done just so that they can make an easy buck. In fact, I have been able to call and/or email the vet clinic a description and pictures of my dog's conditions to determine whether they need to be seen by a vet or not. I will continue to bring my dog and any future pets to this vet clinic because I trust them. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for the team here! We have a reactive dog who is scared of meeting new people and they do such a good job of working with him. Dr. Ivory and vet tech Casey have been so amazing! They clearly know how to have the right body language and movements when working with a reactive dog. They took their time slowly introducing themselves to him and giving him lots of treats while he got comfortable. Thank you NE Vet Hospital, we appreciate you!!!

Fantastic experience: Saved by Grace: Dr. Amy Ward came in on her day off to save my dog Grace, and we were a new patient. She was in pain, lethargic, and not eating. After X-rays, Ultra-sound, Examination, and Blood Work, it turned-out that she had Pancreatitis. An injection of an anti-nausea and an antibiotic had her on the mend. The staff there is wonderful, and Dr. Ward and her crew have my complete confidence. Brian Davis
