Services
Viscaya Prado Veterinary Hospital: Reviews
Fantastic experience: My dog ace, a French bulldog who came in with respiratory distress. They scheduled a surgery to fix his respiratory and his umbilical hernia and his pallet they did an excellent job. Dr. Edwards is very very good.
Fantastic experience: Recently, I had the very difficult decision to put my dog Lily down, as she fought congestion heart failure and finally kidney failure. As with anyone ,who truly loves and cares for their family pets, it was devastating. My cats and dogs have long experienced the Great care, genuine compassion , and knowledgable guidance from Dr. Schumann. To say she is outstanding and truly has the passion, love, and knowledge to be a Vet is an understatement. She not only guided me thru the care of my Lily and her illness, but her knowledge and very helpful, gentle attention, and experience helped Lily live a quality of life which may not have been possible. Her patience, empathy, and love of animals is outstanding. Her communication is wonderful , for me, to be educated on what was going on with Lily made all the difference! My heart will be forever grateful, that SHE made an unbearable task, bearable, knowing I had made the right choice for the one that mattered Lily! Thank you Dr. Schumann, I am blessed and grateful for you! I also do not want to forget to Thank Jess, her Vet tech,as she was truly wonderful, kind and impressive with her dedication and experience. Last but never least, is Linda at the office front desk. Thank you for all you do. Always kind, listens, and truly cares !
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Edwards at Viscaya-Prado! She is extremely compassionate, caring, and a highly knowledgeable vet. We had a great experience as she takes the time and effort to get the proper diagnosis and I felt very safe with her treating my dog who was sick. I’m so happy I found Dr. Edwards!
Negative experience: If I could give 1 star I would. Money grabbing establishment. Brought my dog 3 days ago had pneumonia 700$ later they say to call back if he worsens to see what c Can be done. Fast forward to today trying to get more antibiotics a Or a steroid they want me to bring him back. They know hes aggressive and hard to get near to xray etc. So now they want to charge me another vet visit on top of whatever else instead of just calling in the prescription. I dont even know how dr edwards got her license. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The technicians don't do anything to try to help starting to wonder how much they really know.
Negative experience: Dog was hospitalized by Dr. Edwards and given fluids/meds/testing. Was told I would be called with results and plan of care in "a couple of hours." Was never called. I called after 3 hours-no return call. Called at 4 hours and spoke briefly with vet tech who told me it was up to me if I wanted to pick my dog up that night or the next day. Decided to get my dog. Was told to come at a set time, so assumed we would speak with vet. Instead was handed a $650 itemized bill and my dog with no harness or leash. I had to ask for a diagnosis, print out of lab results, whether or not we should continue meds, and whether or not we needed a return visit. Asked for a call back. Dr. Edwards told me since my dog had only been hospitalized for 5 1/2 hours it was not reasonable for me to expect to speak with her since I had spoken once with the ICU vet tech. "Many dogs are hospitalized for 12 hours or more." Said she had answered my questions through the tech. Could not tell me how many liters of fluids my dog had received, said I should "just look it up on my bill." Was told my expectations were unreasonable. Will not be returning.
Fantastic experience: With three locations in town they have always space for a last minute appointment. Friendly and professional staff will treat you fairly and respectfuly
Fantastic experience: Dr Shuman and the entire staff take very good care of my new kitty.
Fantastic experience: Great place! Fast service, Excellent Veterinary, Excellent Techs. My heavy dog didn't want to go back in my car and one of the techs was so nice to help me put him in. Thank you so much.
Fantastic experience: Our dog has been so sick for a couple of days and this place got us in quickly and calmed our nerves. We will be switching to this Veterinary Hospital.
Fantastic experience: Dr Freed is a very thorough and caring doctor. We would highly recommend him for your pets care
Negative experience: This is strictly for the Del Prado location. I unfortunately had to send my beloved dog off to rainbow heaven on Saturday 7/5. We arrived, PAID $407. Which is absurd to begin with. Today I received an invoice in the mail stating that I owed $82.80 because he was "over 50 pounds" HE WAS NOT WEIGHED before payment was recieved at the clinic. This is beyond ridiculous. 3 years ago, my 18 year old Doxie was ready to cross the bridge. THAT will be a visit I will never forget. The "veterinarian" Didn't give any sedation. And just tried to straight put him to sleep...I'd NEVER heard my dog yelp that way in the 18 years I had him. THE DEL PRADO LOCATION should be ashamed of themselves.
Positive experience: They are great. They are knowledgeable and affordable. When they opened up the new location, things have changed. Otherwise they would have had a 5. I still believe there is no one better, but they were great when my dog was sick and passed away. They take care of my 4 dogs now. They are a bit expensive but I like how they are open more than other vet's.
Fantastic experience: I really love the Viscaya Prado location on Del Prado because of its small size. It's not overwhelming and the Vet is always very attentive.
Negative experience: Pros: fast check in, quick appointments Cons: I’ve been twice, and each time they spend about 1 minute evaluating my pet and then offer the most expensive solution (X-rays,etc) and each time it’s come out negative and then suggested we work our way backwards and do a urinalysis/ more basic scans. You need to do an escalation of force, and start with the less expensive evaluations, not just what is most convenient and high price for the sake of the vet & business. I don’t respect this model, and won’t be going back. Never left here without paying at least $600.
Negative experience: I had an appointment for Gotti at 3. I waited 40 minutes to see Gotti's doctor. Finally I got tired of waiting for doctor. I have things to do and can't wait for how long. Usually I do not have a problem until today. They were not even that busy. One person said that she was in surgery. I don't know why and I'm not happy waiting 40 minutes and don't even now when she would be with me. Fred allsen
Fantastic experience: The staff at this hospital is great. It is evident that they hire people who really care about animals. Our dog is receiving excellent care and treatment from Dr. Monte. Very pleased with the whole experience.
Fantastic experience: We have been bringing all of our pets to VISCAYA PRADO for over 20 years. Linda is the reason, we prefer the Del Prado Location. Linda is extremely knowledgeable, kind & has always treated us as a priority. Thank-you Linda!
Fantastic experience: Terri was amazing with my Lilly. My 13 year old Pomeranian is very anxious at the groomer and Terri helped me with her mats and belly to keep her cool. This is such a great Vet and highly recommend Viscaya Prado and their sister vet up on country club blvd In the Cape!!!
Negative experience: This Veterinary clinic is seriously the worst I've ever been to. I'm reading the rest of the one star reviews stating that their pets have also died under this Vets care. Doctors don't return calls, admin treats people horribly with no compassion. The Reception staff are borderline abusive, very condescending and lack human empathy. Shelly and Lorraine, karma has a way of giving back what you put out in the universe. I'll pray for you both. I've been there only a few times but have been treated so poorly, I have to share my story. I admitted my Mama cat with 6 healthy kittens to help the Mamas milk come in and all 6 of my kittens died. They separated the Mama from her kittens. The staff told me that it's on their MAR to feed them every 2 hours and they try their best but have a lot of other patients. The blue haired Vet Tech told me the overnight staff weren't comfortable tube feeding so God only knows when my babies were fed. I was devastated when I was told that ALL 6 of my babies died in their care. No condolences, just a bill for about $1400 and now threatening collections. They should pay me for killing my entire litter of kittens. They are so emotionless and clearly were not trained to tube feed. I was bottle feeding them and asked them NOT to tube feed as this is risky if done incorrectly causing aspiration pneunonia and death. They've lost my cats medical records more than once including all of the 6 kittens that died. Im a Nurse and quite familiar with my rights to my pets medical records. They accused me of not paying for my visit when I paid in full at check out and was given a receipt. Apparently I'm being sent to collections and labeled as a difficult person due to their incompetency and lack of customer service. I've asked to speak to a Manager or the Medical Director to discuss how I've been treated and the numerous errors but no one has returned my call. My animals have died in their care and the corresponding records have disappeared. This seems that they're hiding something. This is so very tragic and unprofessional and admin has turned a blind eye to all of this. I've expressed my dissatisfaction with their lack of customer service and for losing my records, that is 100% valid and warranted. Im not difficult. Ive yet to raise my voice, swear or act unprofessional. Im upset, astonished and dissappinted and rightfully so. Ive been talked to like a 5th grader by Reception staff and im supposed to be happy? How can you lose medical records? How can you lose receipts for hundreds of dollars? Check your bank account. If a Medical Director or Manager sees this, I'd love a reply and an appt to discuss in detail. Sincerely, the difficult lady who lost 6 kittens and has been treated like a criminal. Do better.
Fantastic experience: Excellent first experience with this hospital. A Christmas Eve visit for an emergency for our Persian cat. Dr. Kroll was awesome! Compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough. Thankful for their care.
Fantastic experience: I had to wait for a bit but considering I had no appointment and could not get an appointment or be seen by a vet in any other place I was extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them
Fantastic experience: I would recommend this company to anyone. Very nice and friendly staff. They treated my fur baby so kindly. So if you're looking for somewhere to take your fur baby to be seen by vet docs this is the place.
Negative experience: The vet was to afraid of my dog to do a full exam. Constantly in the room and out. I was there for 2 hrs. I do not think I will be back. If you are afraid of big dogs then you shouldn't see them.
Negative experience: My dog is a Ridgeback, 3 years old. I went yesterday cause he was bleeding the tip of his ears. When got there and inside a room one of the staff came to talk to me about what he had. I explained and she tried to take some ears test with a big qtips. Of course, he probably had an ears infection and didn’t want anybody to touch his ears. She tried and he kept moving so another staff with more experience came. In 2 seconds she was able to do it. They closed the door and my dog started to bark since he doesn’t know who might come, and he is in pain and discomfort. I tried to leave the door open so he can see but another staff told me to keep it close for the noise. He got more anxious, so they gave me a muzzle . I put it and then they took him to do a cleaning and check his ears better. The lady who told me to keep the door closed came to explain they need to sedated him in order to keep him calm since he was aggressive and could bit anyone. I explained he is friendly and he is in pain obviously he is no happy. She said I need to train him. Short story, I paid $600 for an ear infection or a sedating process. When I went to take him they told me to neuter him or train him in order to come back. WHAT KIND OF VET tells you something like this? They don’t have empathy for animals, they don’t know about the breed, they prescribed him anxiety pills, instead of something for the infection. You know what! I told her that anxiety pill even for human are harmful, cause aggression! So no! I’m not going to give him that, or neuter him just because they do t know how to deal with a big dog in pain. I’m not coming back! I will find a good VET that care for animals and know what they are doing. This place is perfect for little dogs. My dog is very friendly, I can even walk him without the chain and he stays next to me, anyone rings my door and obviously he bark, I open the door and he smells and depend on my reaction, that of course if I open is because I know who is coming he let them in. Unacceptable telling me if my dog is train or not and they are the ones who need more train to understand that even a kid with and ear infection are in discomfort and stressed. Come on!
Fantastic experience: The whole staff here is amazing! Always able to get us in and so friendly! Even my anxious dog loves them! Viscaya Prado is Koda Approved
Fantastic experience: The most friendly kind and professional experience I've ever had at a veterinary facility. Thank you for helping my fur baby and for being so kind and nice to me.
Fantastic experience: My name is Robert. Last year my pet Igor visited his vet that I respected and trusted but after taking his annual shots, Igor developed some mysterious illness. After, so many blood work tests along with catscans, medicine, he was not improving and Igor was getting worse by the day. I HEARD from a friend of Viscaya-Prado and oped to try...Igor was doomed to die and I was desperate. All I have to say is Thank you Viscaya-Prado for having the patience and dedication you demonstrated and for saving my Igor from this terrible still unknown illness. I am please do say that after a year's long battle Igor is bouncing back. Sincerely Robert & Rita Rabitt.
Fantastic experience: Got me right in. This is now the vet I go to all the time. Can get in for emergency issues that come up. They have good veterinarians. They do surgery everything can be done there. I am thankful I found them.
Negative experience: Look for my other review, but after bringing my rabbit there, she is so traumatized by them man handling her because they were afraid cause she had fleas, yet their the ones who made me bring her in cause they wouldn't just let me buy the flea treatment. She won't let me even pet her anymore. She just runs away and hides now. They have no shame, cause they treated her like that right in front of me and wouldn't let me help. Help do what?? I don't know cause she was just sitting there all confused
Fantastic experience: I would like to thank all the staff that not only cared for my Golden Retriever but also her owner. Daisy pulled me over and I had quite the fall. Excellent job in stopping the bleeding on the owner. Daisy was well cared for by the Vet. Tech as she assisted in getting loaded back in the car.
Negative experience: The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. But Jordan (Staff)insisted on getting a copy of our driver's license or social security number, without any guarantees that the information is properly secured from Identity theft. We don't like being put on the spot like that.
Fantastic experience: I left my original review over a year ago. And with 3 pets and at least another year later, I still feel the same way. I love this animal hospital. I've always had a good experience here, at both locations. Nothing but good to say.
Fantastic experience: Professional, Caring individuals. Echo is very comfortable here. Now we have Koda! They set time aside for impromptu issues. Great staff and doctors.
Negative experience: We had an awful experience over the weekend. Very long story but my dog was hit by a car while I was out of town. My 16 year old son had to drive with the neighbor to the animal hospital with our dying 2 year old dog in his arms. When they arrived, one of the vet techs got in my sons face questioning him about how the dog was hit. He tried to explain the situation to her but she interrupted him telling him that he " probably should've watched the dog better". I understand that it's disturbing to see dogs unsupervised that get hit. I'm sure the vets are frustrated. We are good pet parents though. He was wearing a collar, he's microchipped and fixed. He has a fenced yard. This was a freak accident. They didn't give him a chance to explain that. After the determination was made that our puppy was not going to make it, my husband asked if they could keep our dog comfortable for a couple of hours so that my daughter and I could rush home to say goodbye. They assured him that he would be sedated and comfortable and to get there before closing at 6. Thinking the dog would still be sedated and comfortable, we took our whole family back to see him and say goodbye. What we saw will stick in my mind forever. As we walked in with the same tech that yelled at my son, she made sure to tell me that our dog is in a lot of pain and he's crying. I asked why he wasn't still sedated and she shrugged her shoulders. We then turned the corner to see my paralysed puppy sitting in his own feces, whimpering uncontrollably. I, as calmly as I could, told them to get the necessary meds to put him out of pain right now. They could have warned us or called my husband to say he was doing worse!! Instead, they let my puppy sit there in pain for 3 hours until I was able to get there. I would never want that for him! This office took a horrible experience for my family and made it even more traumatizing. I would hate for another family to have to feel the way that they made us feel on one of our worst days. Bedside manners are a real thing and apply with our pets too. I am heartbroken and devastated by this experience.
Positive experience: Good vet except it’s pricier than other vets. All I needed was a health certificate to fly my cat and I to Dominican Republic. They were charging $179 for the exam, which doesn’t includes potential shots and vaccines. I called Viscaya Prado down the road and they do it for $91 so I’m going there instead. Times are tough - I wish I could pay vets more but barely have funds to care for myself and my pet.
Fantastic experience: Dr. P is an amazing Vet! It's so hard to find one that is not only good with your pets, but with you too. He is so kind and patient with questions, hears and processes every word and concern. I never feel rushed, he does a great job. I cannot recommend him enough! We have been seeing him for several cats that he was able to squeeze in, so basically got lucky and ended up finding him by chance. I absolutely love him! PS, Dr. Schumann is also superb! Extremely gentle with pets-able to put even my most nervous ones at ease. She's also been so kind through some really tough cases and difficult decisions and her diagnosis have always been spot on. She is and has been my main Vet for 5 plus years now and we are so lucky to have her!!!
Negative experience: I have been a customer of Viscaya Prado for probably over 15 years and they have treated over a half a dozen of my dogs over the years I am so disappointed with what just happened to me on Sunday this last weekend.. the doctor saw my dog examined him gave him an x-ray and told me that he had a tumor in his stomach and he didn't have much time left and it wouldn't be worth doing the surgery because he probably wouldn't make it through so I came to an understanding with myself sitting there that it was time to say goodbye to one of my best friends that I've had for the last 15 years. As I was sitting in one of their small offices saying goodbye to my friend crying my eyes out and watching him slowly go to sleep for the last time the door opens and the girl comes in from the front desk with her credit card machine asking me how I wanted to pay for this visit... I almost fell out of my chair.. that was one of the most inconsiderate and heartless things that anybody could ever do to somebody that is saying goodbye to one of their best friends after 15 years and I just want to let you know that you have lost a customer, a lifetime customer for your lack of respect, consideration and for putting your bottom line ahead of a grieving customer one who has been one of your customers for over 15 years and as of this Sunday will no longer be
Negative experience: I used to tell everyone to come here. We called today with our dying pug and were told we could bring her in Thursday and today is Tuesday. Kindness Animal Hospital took us in immediately. Unfortunately we had to put our little girl down and it is absolutely devastating. Thanks for not being there for one of your previous patients and our family when we needed you the most. One of the staff mentioned they would never set foot in this vets office and now I understand why. Go to Kindness Animal Hospital if you have a choice.
Fantastic experience: The Doctors and staff are very helpful and friendly! Had no problem getting my German shepherd a appointment and everyone there treated him as if he was their dog. Would definitely recommend taking you animals here!
Fantastic experience: Convenient, caring and kind. I've brought my pets here for 12 years. Their staff saved my cat who was experiencing heat stroke. Highly recommended A+++
Fantastic experience: Always grateful for the expertise, kindness, completeness, patience, and value from Dr Mason Freed and the whole staff.
Fantastic experience: The best veterinarians. My first dog Sadie and now my new dog Sophie are never afraid to go to the vet. Great place always recommend them to anyone.
Fantastic experience: We cancelled our appointment because our Stella Bella felt so much better! We know, however, if we did keep that or any appointment, our trust will always be with the staff at Viscaya Prado. Thank you!
Negative experience: We took our puppy in because she had an upset stomach. They didn't run any tests, just gave her some medicine. We called them when the medicine was gone to let them know that she was still sick and they told us to come pick up more medicine. They didn't ask to see her again her, just wanted us to stop by for more medicine. We didn't do that. We took her to a different Veterinarian. She tested positive for round worms...
Fantastic experience: I have been using Viscaya Prado Veterinary Service for 15 years and I have always been very satisfied with the Quality of Care all of my pets have received. The staff couldn't be any nicer, I feel like I'm treated like family and the price of services is very reasonable. I highly recommend Viscaya Prado Veterinary Service to anyone who wants the best care possible for thier pets. Thanks for all your dedication to your patients. Forever Grateful
Fantastic experience: All the Vets I’ve seen have been amazing. Their staff is really empathetic and friendly. You can tell they really love their animals.
Fantastic experience: my dog sparkles had a tumor on her paw and they did such a good job taking care of her !! she feels all better now and shes all happy again thank you so much especially Dr richards for being so nice and helpful she didnt charge us for her bandages after many visits to rebandange her leg !! everything was so quick and easy thank you for making my mini cow dog feel better !!
Negative experience: Great great experience with Dr. Milton McKelvie in the past, and that’s where it ends. I was given an appointment with Dr Kelsey Hoag, worst experience EVER! Reference the Internet on a few explanations of what could be the problem instead of realizing the my bunny had “Snuffles” and all she wanted to do x rays to check her teeth ( to a tune of over $600 ) as I was told by the vet tech each Dr charges differently so it could range from $600 - $800 and yet that still wouldn’t have fixed the problem. So instead of providing an antibiotic which was asked for but not provided, at 8:27 my rabbit crossed over the “Rainbow Bridge” If you care for your pet, look else where for care… thank me later! Dr Hoag I hold you personally responsible….. you don’t care about the animals you care about the revenue you can gain from your title, shame ion you …..Heartbroken
Negative experience: My cat got sick on a weekend so I called them on Saturday and got answering machine referring me to another hospital. Then I spoke to receptionist during business hours on Sunday and even though Storm is a regular patient there , they once again referred me to another hospital. They never showed any concern about my cat. For a vet hospital that claims to handle any emergencies in house, when my cat needed treatment I was told I would have to take him to another hospital. I will be taking my cats to a different vet after this. I am very upset by the lack of emergency care they supposedly provide.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Mason Freed is the absolute most sincere and caring doctor I have ever met. When our pit bull went into sudden respiratory arrest and I carried his lifeless 80lb body inside seconds before closing, Dr. Freed attempted to resuscitate him with CPR and epi, but unfortunately, it was just his time. Not only did he let me wait in the room with our dog for hours after he passed in order for my husband to leave work and come say goodbye, but he also offered to personally help my hubs carry our boy's body to the car. In addition to a personal follow up phone call and a condolence card we received, when I called to make a payment for our bill I was informed he said there was no charge and he was simply sorry for our loss. Even though it's been 4 years since this experience, whether we're bringing our 16 year old cat or our 2 month old puppy he is always on the floor playing with and petting the animals. You can see the passion and empathy through his professionalism and personability. Additionally, Dr. Cornwell is another Veterinarian that is truly exceptional. He is an expert in his field, a wealth of knowledge and still has a heart of gold after practicing all these years. When our senior dog was near passing at home, he personally called to see how our pup was doing before he was leaving town to see if we changed our minds and wanted to bring him in to put him down. To have such caring and personalized care given to both me and my husband's very first pets at their end of life was more valuable than I could ever repay. Both doctors made my loss their sole priority and never made me feel alone or unsupported when going through such deep tragic losses. Truly angels! Thank you Dr. Freed and Dr. Cornwell
Negative experience: Recently took three kittens from a rescue to get ready for adoption. Rescue suggested I go to this veterinary service. First appointment wellness check scheduled spay and neuter, one kitten had eye issue it was agreed that the kitten had a bad eye and it needed to be removed, for a quality life. Day of surgery a totally different veterinarian saw the kittens another wellness check before the surgery said he wasn't removing the kitten's eye was going to save the kitten eye. I myself knowing this was not the best plan of care question twice about this course of action. The vet would not consider taking the eye until he tried to save it. Returned the afternoon picked up the three kittens and the ointment. A week later the kitten's eye was worse even after the ointment. This being said I took the kitten to my own personal vet who agreed the eye should have been removed. The eye was in such a state that all it was going to do was cause a lifetime of irritation and pain. I don't know what happened to compassion All I see is a vet that just saw a way to make money. Come back in 2 weeks for recheck, come back in 2 weeks we'll try something else, and so it goes. So now this little 3 lb kitten faces another surgery, no compassion for the kitten at all. Plus I also need to mention they did not do their rabies shots, so that was another vet appointment at my expense. Cannot and will not ever recommend them. I would like to see something I say or somebody say Make a difference there. Probably never will.
Positive experience: Brought my kitten to Viscaya Prado Veterinary hospital. They were amazingly gentle and empathetic towards this scared little cat. They were also willing to climb to the top of the cabinets to retrieve her when she panicked and got away from everyone. I was expecting this because she was very hard to get into the carrier in the first place. My worst fear was that someone would be rough with her. She is doing very well so far. As relaxed as an animal can be in a strange place. But the vet and her assistants are amazing and very comforting to her. Very glad to have found this particular vet. They were the first who empathized with my situation. I really appreciate that. I will definitely bring her and my other cat back to this particular vet. Really like these people. Great job, Angela and Dr Monte. So when I got home I found out no worm test had been done on my kitten. She was an outdoor cat and I never had heard of a physical for a new cat without a worm test. I brought some feces in and they tested it because I asked. They charged me an extra $55 for the worm test. I always thought of worm test was standard for the first physical. My bill ended up being well over $400 with the worm test. This is a great place but I think that their fees are somewhat high. I still like the place a lot. I think they treat your animal very well. They are very kind-hearted people. They just need to make the worm test part of the basic physical and bring the charges down to a more reasonable rate.
Fantastic experience: They are the best! I trust my pups with them, their love of animals is apparent.
Fantastic experience: I have never before experienced the kindness & caring of the doctors and staff at the Viscaya-Del Prado Vet facility. Hats off to Dr. Shuman and Milissa Hughes for going over and above for our girl Fluffy. You guys are the BEST !
Fantastic experience: We took our dog Sassy to Viscaya Prado Veterinary Hospital for a swollen mouth and come to find out she had a bad tooth that was infected. They put her on antistesia and they safely removed her two teeth that she had left in her mouth. We were extremely pleased with the results and she is now doing fine. She’s back to her playful self again and eating like a horse! She’s like a family member and we would do anything to protect her and keep her safe and we felt very comfortable leaving her with this veterinary hospital. Thank you to the kind staff that helped us with her and took care of her while she was there for the removal of her two teeth.
Negative experience: I will never go back here. Had an emergency visit Friday. They took blood/urine and said the results would be back by Sat afternoon. It is now Monday night, no results, no phone call to check on our cat. The vet barely examined him. Cost me $304. Our cat got so bad over the weekend, we thought he was dying. Took him to Animal ER on Pine Island Rd. They were wonderful and Dr Tillman was fantastic. We found out he has a lung nodule and pancreatitis. After some meds, he seems a bit better in less than 24 hours.
Positive experience: I have taken my dogs here for years. They are compassionate for end of life assistance and they have the option of cremation. They took good care of my dogs with care and being attentiveness. Gave options where possible. I would say it may cost a bit more than other places but they are top notch in my book. I preferred the country club Blvd. Location best because my dog was more comfortable there no problem getting her in the door unlike the del Prado location. However I believe since the passing of my dogs the country club Blvd loc. Has moved but don't know where. Would definitely use them again for future pets.
Fantastic experience: They're able to fit you in quickly if it's very important. Their knowledgeable and are very empathetic with your animal. They also explain everything very thoroughly and make sure that you don't have any questions when you leave. I really appreciate that, that you don't feel rushed out the door.
Fantastic experience: Excellent, everything about this business was exceptional. Had a very good experience. Could have cost much more but the vet did the least costly thing. I am thankful and grateful, as is kitty. Nice facility filled with kind and caring people. Awwwwesome!
Fantastic experience: Thanks to Dr. Lawrence for treating our old man cat during an emergency visit three weeks ago. Staff was excellent and Mr. Cat got in quickly. Prices for vet visits down here very reasonable overall. Stop complaining and anticipate the costs of having an animal before you bring it into your home.
Negative experience: We were in this morning with our cat, our cat was to have a two-part series shot we were to be charged one amount for the first shot and a second amount for the second shot the veterinarian hospital had an emergency and canceled the second shot and rescheduled us, then wanted to make us pay again for the first shot and then administer the second shot and a few weeks. You cancel our appointment and then want to double charge us knowing so well you canceled the appointment because you had an emergency. Poor service horrible hospital. I could see if it was because I canceled the appointment then I could see full well being charged for the first shot again, but the cancellation was due in part to the veterinarian hospital. Absolutely will not be back to this hospital under any and all circumstances. Then the woman comes back in the room and says oh I'm sorry I had it all wrong I talked to the doctor. Well here's your great review. And if anybody looks up my reviews I don't put businesses down I like to build businesses up but this is one that doesn't deserve it.
Fantastic experience: I recently had stopped going to my previous vet because the doctor K9 Loki use to see is no longer there, so I have made Viscaya Prado Veterinary Hospital K9 Loki's full time vet, the doctors are great and willing to work with you. When I find a vet tech that is good with a working Belgian Malinois I stick with that vet tech each time. Every 30 days I take Loki in to see vet tech Lady who is amazing with Loki and cutting solid black nails without making Loki bleed or him wanting to eat her. I schedule an appointment for 30 days out at the end of each visit. My last appointment Lady forgot she was off the day she told me to come in so she drove into work on her day off just to cut Loki's nails and then leave. That's respect and loyalty in my book! I recommend Viscaya Prado Veterinary Hospital for everyone they are local and great!
Negative experience: The staff and the doctor were very nice. However, I waited about 45 minutes with an appointment, the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me and my pet, and my bill was $135.00!! Just for a well visit and a shot!! Thank goodness nothing was actually wrong with my pet, I can only imagine the price if there had been!! I will not be going back.
Positive experience: I appreciate the fact they could get me in same day for my dogs ear infection. I do feel like $200 is a little steep for a 2 minute visit from the vet, ear drops, and a sample to see if it was a yeast infection. Overall my dog is feeling much better and they were nice.
Fantastic experience: Horrible nightmare of an experience when I took my dog there by a so called veterinarian Dr. Amanda Ziegler who showed absolutely no compassion for my dog or myself, she basically bashed me as a owner all she wanted was to put him on her kill table, This Amanda Ziegler has no heart whatsoever!! Didn't even give him an IV but charged me $600 for who knows what she did because I wasn't allowed to see what was being doing, on a report it say I refused test, I was charged way more then I was told and have a bill for another $23. that came in the mail, my dog who was my like since he was 2-1/2 weeks old was laid to rest 5 hours later by his primary doctor. I called a couple days later to speak to a manager and instead the phone was handed to another worker by the name Shelly who was just as rude as this Dr. Amanda , I asked her if she was the office manager and she told me "No we don't have a office manager" SERIOUSLY! What hospital or veterinarian center doesn't have a office manager!! I asked who was in charge of there is no office manager and I was told with an attitude "we are owned by 3 doctors" and that's all the information I was given when she hung up on me, I have witnesses to everything even the call I made. I continue to make sure this never happens to any other human or dog and I will not stop until I get my money back just to make my dog suffer more than he was. ❣️UPDATE ❣️ THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CHANGES, I LOVE THE DOCTORS AT THE NEW MAIN HOSPITAL ON VISCAYA. , I’m so happy I gave them another chance and I believe the doctor l had an issue with in 2019 is no longer working there. I will update more I can't say I wasn't warned about Viscaya Prado because I was by many people and rescues I know. I will continue to fight this till my last living breath and report to every and any agency and licencing department, because nobody even had the decency to speak to me about this matter.
Negative experience: Extremely upset with Dr. Mckelvie. As a so called avian vet, I'd expect more compassion and care. My parakeet was attacked by a rat Saturday night, drove him up to Clearwater where he saw an emergency vet and got antibiotics and pain meds. Saw Dr. Mckelvie Monday morning. He looked at my bird for maybe 30 seconds before deciding he was fine, wouldn't even do xrays. I left extremely upset, and got dinky in to Medlin Exotic Animal Services the next day. My bird was missing a toe and has a broken one on his right leg (went necrotic and got removed because he wasn't helped sooner) and was holding his left leg limp. Dr. Medlin was extremely compassionate and squeezed him in between other appointments, even got his xrays done about 15 minutes after consenting to them. My bird not only needed xrays, he needed stronger antibiotics and more pain and anti inflammatory medicine. My bird may be worth $40, but hes family and deserved go receive the care a $400 bird would receive.
Negative experience: This place deletes your bad reviews. I set up an appointment for my cat at 3:30. Receptionist said they will look for a room for us. Four patients walked in and got rooms before us while we were waiting almost an hour just to be told we'll be waiting more once we got into the back. Very unprofessional. I will not be returning. Please do not delete this review so others can see how trash and expensive your services are.
Negative experience: I am so disgusted by the unprofessionalism and lack of compassion and consideration shown by the staff. I have 4 pets, one with cancer. I called to make an appointment for the one with cancer to be euthanized because she was in pain; and they scheduled an appointment for the evening doctor. I had called the week prior to find out what I needed to do when it was time. They gave me the prices and procedures at that time. No emergency fee or appointment was ever mentioned. When I showed up, I was told they don't take evening appointments onLu walk in emergencies and they would have to charge be a $150 extra; and I may have to wait several hours because a dog was just brought in and may need surgery. i asked to schedule an appointment for the next day And the lady told me I could not they were booked. i was visibly upset over the thought of losing my cat and then to be treated this way during such a difficult time -- how heartless. Please think twice before trusting your furry family members to theses people.
Fantastic experience: Perfect job by Dr.McKinley. Surpassed my expectations and gave me exactly what I asked for. I instantly felt I could trust him with my pup. The staff was all amazing from the desk personnel to the Techs. If you’re looking for a perfect exp this is the place. Well worth the 1.5hr drive from where iam located. Well done Viscaya-Prado!!
Negative experience: I have been a longtime customer of Viscaya prado for at least 15 years, my cat had a stroke on January 5th at 9:30 am. I called 3 times to bring Lovey in as an emergency. I was told all 3 times they were too busy and not to bring him in. Finally, my husband called at 12:00 and was told to bring him in. And, this is an emergency hospital !! He still wasn't seen for another hour. Bottom line, doctor kept him overnight and called me at 6 the next morning. I had to let him go. I was charged $992.96, and I never brought him home.
Positive experience: I have been using the facility for 5 to 6 years periodically and exclusively for the past 3 years. In the last 12 months I have had three negative incidents happen. The first was when I took my dog in for his 6-month checkup and had the doctor look at some cyst like bumps on his legs. After diagnosing it as a basic pimple full of fluid, he took his scissors and started cutting open the cyst on his leg by flicking the scissors without any anesthetic (he said he could take it/his exact words). He was literally slung the fluid in the cyst onto our shoes (my stepson almost blew). The second is when I took him in because he had blood and vomit after taking a long ride. They started doing several tests and x-rays. I made sure to tell them to notify me if the cost went really high. At the end of the visit my bill was over $900 with no diagnosis other than stress. The last and final time was recently on Thanksgiving vacation we were traveling again and I was giving him a sedative for the ride that they had given me to use. I had given him the dosage on the bottle and it didn't seem to work well enough so I called the vet and asked for advice in which they notified me they would call me back. I never got a call back. I'm done. I will be looking for another vet.
Fantastic experience: Awesome experience! The staff is always so kind and helpful. Our pup was frightened but the are always patient with her and make needed accommodations for us when we visit.
Negative experience: UPDATE: This place USED to be great, so I have updated this review, then all the good vets left. They used to have flexible options for appointment times, now it's 7-10 business days out for an appointment for things like a simple ear infection that just needs meds. OR you can bring your pet in for an additional $140 on top of all the other things. I trusted these vets to have my dogs' best interests in mind. When I brought my greyhound here back in July for her routine checkup, and asked about her teeth (covered in plaque/tartar), the vet looked at them and said they were fine. They also never mentioned anything wrong with my chihuahua's teeth either, even though they all got checkups annually, and I brought them in all the time for different things, and was always charged for a full vet exam. I left and went to Cape Coral Pet Vet who immediately noticed a problem with both of their mouths, and explained in detail exactly what they were looking at, why they were concerned, and I understood immediately that any good vet should have caught it if they were actually looking. My greyhound needed 7 teeth pulled, while my chihuahua needed 11(!) Teeth pulled, and had 2 abscesses. This is all getting fixed now by a competent vet. But Viscaya Prado vets LET my babies SUFFER FOR YEARS! I am absolutely horrified by this knowledge. My puggle had allergies, and I took him soooo many times to Viscaya Prado to try to get why he was whining and seemed to be in pain sorted out. I even showed them video, and they prescribed all sorts of $$$ treatments, thinking he had spinal issues. I showed the vet at Cape Coral Pet Vet the video, and she immediately pin pointed the problem was simple allergies, gave me a few options, and his quality of life has immensely improved! Tl:Dr: Viscaya Prado's vets are incompetent and let my dogs live in pain, and suffering, all while I thought (and was trying to) give them the best medical care I could. I sure paid like I was . I'm at Cape Coral Pet Vet now, and my babies are finally getting the medical care they deserve. [Shared back in 2018 with 5 star review:] Very caring staff, very cost efficient, and they're open 24/7. After hours emergency vet visits are only $30 more than a normal visit. What more could you want!
Negative experience: UPDATE: I have followed the veterinary Dr to his own business. I can't believe how bad this place has gotten since they opened up the new facility and moved. Never had I ever expected this, what a shame. When you have to ask someone to clean up another dog's mess they left on the floor more than once and it still doesn't get done ...well that's just pure disgusting. She gave me attitude for asking, the people there are rude and dirty. I was happily surprised when I visited this place for the first time. The staff is unbelievably friendly and caring. My husband and I had a very bad experience a few months before elsewhere when we had to put our cat down and were very afraid of what we would experience here. This place cares about your animals!!!! They are not there to soak you for every dime you have they want to help. Our puppy had to go in for an emergency visit and I couldn't believe the words that came after the visit. " We know this was unexpected and a little expensive if you can't pay it all today, that's ok we can do a payment plan." Never have I ever heard those words before. When we lost our elder cat they wouldn't even help her until they ran my credit card. I know this is long but I just have so many good things to say about this place. If you have doubts about your vet and your animal's care... I guarantee you won't here.
Negative experience: My miniature Schnauzer has been sick since Sunday. The office was initially kind, and as they weren't able to see her right away, the let us make an appointment for Monday. The vet tech was patient and wonderful. However, as my schnauzer wasn't able to provide a urine sample during her exam, we were given a kit to collect one, and told us to bring it back. We were able to collect a sample later that evening, and brought it over first thing the next morning, that was on Tuesday. We were told they would call us with the results. After not hearing from them, we called back, at which point we were told it could take up to 24 hours to get the lab results. It's now afternoon on Wednesday, and we still have not heard a thing. Meanwhile, our dog has grown even sicker, continues to vomit, is not eating, and has abdominal swelling. When we called to follow up, we were told to call another office to get the results directly from the doctor (though we were initially told they would call us). We called the other office and the receptionist told us that the doctor would call us back, she then quickly hung up the phone. Needless to say, my dog is very ill, and we have still not heard back from this office regarding her lab work. There is a lack of compassion, and a lack of urgency. These are living breathing being/family members, not electronics, or objects. We have an appointment with another vet hospital, and I'm hopeful they will be able to get to the bottom of what's going on.
Fantastic experience: I called crying hysterically to make an appointment to put my dog Lucy down from cancer. I was a total wreck ! I couldn't stop crying. I spoke with Peggy. What a wonderful woman ! So caring ! She was great ! When I took my Lucy in I met 2 more wonderful caring people. This IS the place you want to bring your pet ! They get it ! They care ! You feel special with them ! I love them all !! It's been 10 days since I had to do this and I'm still sick and lost.. Lucy had surgery 9 months in Buffalo, NY prior and they said she only had a couple of months. I think moving to Cape Coral gave her a little spark of happiness and my love helped her live longer. I am truly grateful for my Lucy and the Vet I chose for her. So no one should feel scared going here ! May God bless all of these wonderful people !
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!!! Dr. McKelvie was amazing with our German Shepherd. Very caring and listened and was very gentle with my boy! Made us feel very comfortable and more importantly made my boy comfortable also. The whole staff was amazing!! Would never go anywhere else ever!! Of I could I would five them 10 ⭐️‘S
Negative experience: I had an emergency happen with one of my exotic pets, My chinchilla broke her foot and needed immediate care. I was denied and dismissed and told it was not possible to be seen. The person was very short with me and empathetic. To find someone who specializes in exotics is difficult and there’s very few options. They could care less about my animal dying and dismissed me immediately. I have had exotics for 8 years and have been to this practice for all of these times. Now I can’t get help? I was beyond disappointed. Luckily another hospital took her in and now she’s in surgery. Had the other hospital not of taken her, she would of died. That’s unacceptable. I will not be returning.
Negative experience: I used to take my girls there, cost has gone through the roof. In emergency situations they used to work you in so your pet could get treatment! Not anymore!!!! They simply refuse care! Your poor pet needs care and they won’t help and we’re very rude. Went to Chiquita animal hospital, was seen immediately for half the cost! Super clean, professional care for my girls! I will never go back to viscaya Prado!
Fantastic experience: I found the doctors and staff to be very compassionate and caring. While my dog lived, he was treated as well as some pediatricians treat children. When we had to choose a hospital for our dog to go to his rest, the doctor made us and our pet comfortable and our farewell, painful as it was, is still remembered to this day for their respect to his remains.
Fantastic experience: I took my 12 year old lab to the new Viscaya Prado Hospital. My dog was in distress. They got me in right away. The staff were wonderful. The doctor was kind and very understanding. I ended up having to put my sweet dog to sleep. I received a condolence card from the vet yesterday. They're the best.
Negative experience: I’m sorry for the long post but my heart is just broken. We’ve been bringing my fur babies here for 17 years. I’ve never been so upset in my life. The lack of compassion is unbelievable. We called as we knew it was time to put one of our pets down. We asked if we could please pay upfront and not wait in the waiting room for a long time. Sometimes with the regular vet visits you are in the waiting room for almost an hour. We brought our 17 year old dog in and waited almost 45 minutes. They didn’t have any place for us to wait so we decided to wait in the parking lot. The waiting area was just too chaotic. We were not allowed to pay ahead either. When we got back to the room the vet tech explained the process to us. She was incredibly Sweet and kind. I’m so sorry I didn’t remember her name. The Vet came in and right away said we have to take her back and put a catheter in her. They were gone about a minute and I could hear my dog crying. When the vet brought her back about 5 min later she was already sedated. Her eyes were rolled back and her tongue was sticking out. The vet was like well she was upset so we had to sedate her. No compassion whatsoever. She was a 12lb Mix that didn’t have any fight left in her. They gave her enough sedation to sedate a horse. How dare you decide what the last thing she saw or felt would be. She was scared and with strangers and you sedated her before we could even say goodbye or let her feel our hugs or hear our voice one last time. I’ve never been so upset and angry. The vet was so impatient. I just stood their in disbelief and the vet tech grabbed my hand and said everything will be okay. After the vet gave her the final shot they just kind of hovered for a minute and then said sorry for your loss and left. The vet tech waited with me while my husband paid. Again I am so sorry I didn’t get her name because she was everything you’d want when you and your pet have to go through the absolute worst day of your lives. When we left it was just as chaotic as when we arrived. We felt like just another number. This was not a peaceful experience. This haunts me everyday because she deserved a better send off. We have since found a new vet and pray when we have to put one of our other pets down it will be with love and compassion.
Fantastic experience: I have been taking my pets here for over 20 years. They have always taken good care of us. That facility is clean and the staff is efficient. Most of the people there have been around as long as I have. The advice on medications, diet, and care has helped me make the best choices for my pets. They send me a sympathy card when the old dogs have died.
Fantastic experience: Have been going there for 30 years! Love Dr Mcelvy from birds to reptiles to our cats and dogs. He and his staff of vets have never let me down. I completely trust them with my pets.
Fantastic experience: I always have a positive experience here. Today I brought my cat in for a sanitary trim and Gina was the tech who did it. She was absolutely wonderful. I was so worried my cat would freak out and Gina was very calm and had such a soothing voice and demeanor - my cat just laid there and let her do her job. Thank you Gina!!
Fantastic experience: We had to put my two cats down six months apart. They were so good to us. They had the empathy for the humans and for the cats back in the back in 2017 and 2018. Now I am bringing my third cat to them just to get a check up.
Negative experience: I would have given zero stars but 1 is required to post a review. A few weeks ago my 12 year old dog has a seizure and we went to an emergency vet on Pine Island. We called them and they are closed due to Covid and said call Viscaya-Prado they are close. We called and it was about 6:30pm... the individual answering the telephone said they only take emergency walk ins starting at 9pm. I said my dog had a seizure just 15 minutes prior and breathing heavy she said I'll ask the Dr.... well I guess the Dr didn't see fit to take a dog in need and stated they are booked with appointments. I asked where do we go now and she said try Blue Pearl. Mind you Blue Pearl is at least 45 minutes away and my dog had another seizure in the car on the way there. Blue Pearl did a great job.
Negative experience: Front office staff is horrendous! AVOID! I get that they're busy, but I'm almost always placed on hold for 20-30 min even for a simple question/ staff is RUDE/ disorganized (never has medications & documentation ready for pick-up despite calling ahead with plenty of warning. Shame, because I like they're open 24-hrs & have had good experiences with all vets (very knowledgeable & good to my dogs). Avoid the hassle & go elsewhere, I did & I'm MUCH happier!
Fantastic experience: A excellent Veterinary Hospital, great service and excellent attention given to the needs of your dog or pet. They're also very fairly priced for the services you get. In my opinion are the best Veterinary Hospital in Cape Coral and possibly all of Southwest Florida
Fantastic experience: We were on day two of trying to figure out what do with a stray that ended up in my drive way with a broken and shredded back leg. She needed an amputation per say by the current vet we had her in. When we called Viscaya and expressed our situation Laurie had told me she had seen the post about the kitty on Facebook and was so grateful for us and helped us immediately. We got her in that day and out the next. They were very understand and gave me all the proper information needed to best guide me in the care of now named Gemini. Thank you to the Viscaya staff and I'm happy to inform that Gemini has eaten and taken her medicine so we are hoping for a full recovery and rehabilitation, wish us luck!
Negative experience: We have been taking our pets to this veterinary for many years and have never had an issue. Until today. The front supervisor made me write this review, for being so disrespectful and utterly rude, just because I approached the counter. She humiliated, or tried to, in front of other customers, waving her hands as if I had leprosy. I was even wearing a mask. She was not. There are ways to guide or correct a customer, but never with such discourtesy. Someone in her position should be aware and sensible to her clients. She brings the entire operation down and should be looked at. I do not know her name, but is the older lady, with grayish short hair and blue eyes.
Fantastic experience: We brought in a severely injured stray to Dr.Kroll a few months ago. The love from the staff was so immense and they stopped at no end to give him the best care they could. Calmed our anxiety for him as well, the loveliest vet experiences I’ve had to date
Fantastic experience: These angels saved my dogs life. As soon as they looked at him, they knew he was bleeding internally somewhere and jumped right into action. They knew I didn’t have much money, so they worked out a payment plan for me on a very expensive surgery. They were honest with me, but still gave me hope and took every risk they could take to save my best friend. I am forever grateful for the doctor and staff’s passion for animals, customer service, and knowledge. They have a 24 hour number you can call to stay updated with your pet and that gave me a better peace of mind. I can’t say I would have returned home with my dog if I went anywhere else.
Fantastic experience: Everyone we've met so far at both locations have been great. They are welcoming, caring, understanding and awesome with my grouchy animals (I have an unruly St Bernard also). Very reasonably priced. Puma Boy Approved!
Negative experience: I called them on Sunday night, March 8, 2020 because my senior dog went into painful seizures and respiratory distress. The first thing they do is put you on hold when you call. I asked not to be put on hold because it was an emergency. The woman became very annoyed as I explained that my dog was dying and I needed to rush him in. She coldly said they were not taking anymore animals because they were short staff. I asked why were they open then? She refused to allow me to bring him in and turned me away in spite of what was happening with my dog. I had to rush him to the ER. My dog died that night. With all the money they charge and theIr claims of 24-hour emergency veterinary services, you'd think they would have the staff to operate their facility and make good on their claim. If you have a pet in distress and need emergency care, don't count on these people to save your pet; they are incompetent and unreliable.
Negative experience: Please don't take your pets here! My cat was euthanized yesterday after a diagnosis of feline diabetes. It wasn't until today that I found out that they made their diagnosis off of blood work alone. I wasn't aware that more needed to be done for a proper diagnosis until today. When I called the office back to question why things went the way they did their office administrator, Peggy informed me that I was not allowed to speak to the veterinarian. She also told me that she was not a psychiatrist and that's what I needed and that I needed to move on from the loss of my Gracie because it was my decision to euthanize. Even though dr. Stacy Foxwell agreed that euthanizing her would be the right way to go and that she would for no reason euthanize anyone's pet unless she agreed that it was the appropriate thing to do. After being told that I needed a psychiatrist I was very promptly hung up on. I cannot even begin to express to you the pain I am feeling right now. Not only because I lost my precious fur baby but because I made my decision on a very shady diagnosis. There was no fasting done, no urine test done, no glucose tolerance... Only blood work. One of their receptionist confided in me and said that they put her cat on meloxicam and it caused said cat to go into renal failure! I should have taken that and used it as a red flag before taking Gracie in for what was only supposed to be an examination for her arthritis and patellar luxation. Upon taking her in it was suggested that I do blood work. I agreed. I received the call yesterday informing me that she had diabetes. Upon arriving and being back in the treatment room dr. Foxwell suggested doing another blood test in the office to confirm the diagnosis of diabetes. Now way too late I'm finding out that it is normal for a cat's blood work to run High between 300 and 400 when they are nervous and in the vet's office. This is not a guaranteed diagnosis of diabetes. I've had problems with a veteranarian in the past and I let the situation go. This will surely not be let go! Beware beware beware! If you love your pets please take them elsewhere!
Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my bird Angel here for 18 years. Wonderful staff. It is now open 24-7.
Negative experience: I recently adopted 2 kittens and went here because it was highly recommended. Wellllll I am not pleased at all with the care I received for my baby. Thursday February 6,2020 I took her there because she was having symptoms of FIP and as of today I still have no results. Meanwhile she started leaking urine very foul smelling and not urinating so I took her back up today and the vet never touched her to examine her didn’t check her bladder or catch for urine. They gave her a shot of antibiotics. Another thing on Thursday they attempted to draw blood from her right leg and since then her leg gives out when walking. I mentioned this to the vet and he told me “oh that’s sounds neuro to me.” Dude it didn’t start until after she had blood drawn by your staff once again never touched her to examine her. Will definitely be changing vets. Crappie service!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: These were the nicest people and very informative! They took very good care of my pet Sadie. My cat seemed very comfortable during the whole process except for when they did a blood test and they had to hold her in an awkward angle. She seemed quite sad, but it was for her own good! She was back to regular ol' Sadie right afterwards! They treated us and our pet so amazingly. Thank you guys for everything!
Negative experience: Front desk is incompetent. Bringing A pet in for an appointment to be euthanized and they treated it as if it were a regular appointment letting the patient and the owner wait in the waiting room with all of the other animals.... distressing the pet and the owner..... instead of escorting them to a private waiting room! once in the exam room with the people who are going to perform the procedure they were ....with the exception of the nurse.... flippant! the door was left open people were laughing in the next room ..... it was a horrible experience don’t go there! they also All look sloppy not professional... they made what was an indescribably difficult experience even worse.
