Experiencia negativa: 8 years we have been going to All City Pet Care. I’ve been trying to receive help on a matter since the better part of January. Back and forth, back and forth we go. I wonder what happened to the staff that tried to actually help their clients and caretakers? It’s wild that they are quick to take your money. Disgustingly quick. I’ve heard great things about the Tea Vet and I’m thinking of just cancelling both our dog’s overpriced paw plans and going there. Sounds like a place I would feel comfortable taking them when they are older and will need that compassion that this place clearly lacks. I just wanted you all to know, something changed at this location. It is NOT what it used to be, and it makes me so sad. Sad for all the animals that go there. I read some of the reviews long ago and thought to myself “what? All city pet care west did that? No way.” Well, here we are. I have emails and voicemails and conversations I would LOVE to share with everyone. It makes me sick how the care and support they once showed and followed through with, has declined tremendously.

Experiencia negativa: I used All City Pet Care West for an in-home euthanasia for my dog, Grace. The vet was kind, and I appreciate that this service exists, but overall I was very disappointed. Grace had a very distressing reaction to the sedative. She yelped, fought it, and ran, and it lasted several minutes. During this, there was no reassurance from the vet that this was normal, that Grace was okay, or that she was not in pain. I was left panicking and confused in the middle of saying goodbye. Afterward, I had to Google what was happening and why she reacted that way, which no grieving pet owner should have to do. Grace was a very muscular pit bull, and I later learned this reaction is common in muscular bully breeds because sedation can affect them unevenly due to muscle mass and metabolism. This should have been explained to me beforehand. I also called several times the week before and specifically asked that someone come with the vet to help carry Grace to the car afterward. I was assured this would be provided, but no one came. I had to lift her onto the stretcher and carry her to the car myself, which was extremely difficult emotionally. Additionally, I was told that I would receive Grace’s nose print. The vet said it would be ready when I picked up her ashes. When I picked up her ashes, I was told the nose print would be mailed to me. I still have not received it. For the cost, I expected better communication, more reassurance during a chaotic moment, and follow-through on what I was told would be provided.

Experiencia fantástica: We continue to be very pleased with our experience working with Dr. Stork and his team! Dr. Stork performed a successful surgery on our golden six years ago, and we continued to see him for follow-up and checkups related to that surgery. After being so impressed, we decided to switch to Dr. Stork as the primary veterinarian for both of our goldens—and we now drive almost 90 minutes to see him. It is absolutely worth it. Dr. Stork is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuine. He and his tech are always upfront and clear about options and costs, and we never feel pressured. The reception staff is welcoming as well. Everything about All City Pet Care West gives us so much peace of mind knowing our golden retrievers are in such great care!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been with All City Pet Care West for quite some time, better part of 5+ years. Ultimately every experience is very similar. Money first, care later. I noticed with my routine care needs for my dog, additional charges and fees would find their way onto my bill and I’d pay an outrageous amount for what was supposed to be a simple check up. In a recent emergency situation the clinic showed a serious lack of compassion during an extremely stressful time. The focus felt more on money than my dog’s well being. I was quoted a surgery price over $2,000 more than multiple other clinics for the same procedure, with no meaningful explanation or empathy. Just basically are you gonna pay $5k to us or let your dog die? Instead of feeling supported, I felt pressured and ultimately dismissed. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to treatment here. I will not be bringing my dog back here for treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was kind and gentle with our 18 year old kitty. She was in for a nail trim, which can be traumatic for an older cat. We really appreciated not being charged a bunch of "additional services."

Experiencia fantástica: The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly when getting me. However, the rest of the staff was great!! My pup was super anxious and they made him feel so calm and comfortable. Especially when getting his shots and blood work. He left there happy and wagging his tail.

Experiencia fantástica: I always trust my pets with this office. We have worked with a couple of the vets there and they are always kind, caring, and thorough. We love out of town, but I wouldn’t trust my fur babies with anyone else!

Experiencia fantástica: We have found our new, vet "home" until we leave SD. For the first time in roughly 4 to 5 years, my dog isn't completely terrified of being seen and helped. Dr. Austin Kroeger takes his time to ensure Bella feels as safe as possible before any exam or medical instrument/medication is used/given. I was told that he patted her head this evening to gain her trust before cleaning out her ear. The vet tech who saw her tonight was phenomenal as well. I honestly appreciate how the team has more of a relaxed demeanor when meeting and examining Bella as they go at her speed. If you have a scared or anxious dog that sometimes shows fear aggression, this office truly is magical in creating a positive space.

Experiencia negativa: The new digs are very nice, the care is as good as always and the parking is easier than in the old location. However, if you need a medication and you need it immediately, you are out of luck. You can only order from their pharmacy and from nowhere else. The processing of the prescriptions is very slow and there doesn't seem to be a way to speed things up. I could have gotten - in my case, the prescription diet we need for our dog - the next day from Chewy, but All City only permits you to order from their pharmacy, however slow it is. Extremely annoying, actually angering. Get a written prescription from them, if possible, which you can use it anywhere.

Experiencia negativa: We do not recommend using this business if your pet needs regular medications. Their vets stopped working with Chewy Pharmacy and they now force you to drive in, grab the Script, and mail it to Chewy. They offer an in house pharmacy which is significantly more expensive. What costs $10 on Chewy is $36 in house. They've also been pushing my dog to get vaccines 6 months earlier than they're due. I'm not sure why these changes are occurring. Unfortunately, with everything else being so dang expensive nowadays, it doesn't make sense to continue to use a vet who adds complications and more hassle to my life.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Stork and his staff our amazing. We took our dog Moose here after a significant leg injury thinking we would for sure have to amputate his leg. Dr. Stork was able to stitch up his leg and guide us through the healing process. His leg is all healed other than the scaring from his accident. I highly recommend Dr. Stork and this vet clinic.

My cat Lily is very elderly and a couple of months ago they diagnosed her with kidney failure, we thought she would not make it through this considering her age but they put all of their efforts into saving her and she has become a whole new cat. I am unimaginably grateful for them and all that they have done for all of my pets no other vet is going to care like they do. Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Although I believe the Dr's and staff to be knowledgeable and have always had a good experience...I don't know too many Vets that get paid $175.00 for two actual minutes with me and my pet and One distemper/rabies shot. Rethinking my choice of vets.

I recently contacted them for a follow up as I forgot if we did some vaccines at the appointment, they were able to transfer everything over to My regular vet and send me a copy. They are so easy to work with!!! We will definitely be back!

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken my pets here for over 15 years and always have a positive experience. Most recently, my cat became very ill and I was able to get him to see the vet the same day. After treatment and meds, the vet told me to call back in 2 days if he was not better as he may need some tests done.. She filled me in on what to look for and do in the interim. I did call the following day and was able to get him in again very quickly. Tests were done, explained fully and additional meds given. This entire adventure began 4 days ago and today he is at 100%. During this experience, the vet was very responsive and patient with my pet (and me). In addition, the staff is always helpful and empathetic,. I trust them absolutely with my little furry companions.

Experiencia fantástica: I was honestly really nervous about going to a new vet I’ve never been to before (I just moved) my dog only got a few shots nothing big but they took the time to comfort her and make sure she was comfortable my dog the whole time was so happy there and you could tell they formed not only her trust but mine to making sure they heard me out on any of my request I had and did such a good just cooperating with my dog and I, you could tell they really did care about my dog and let her sniff the tool they use in her ear before looking in her ear and give her extra pets if they felt like she was uneasy at all! Amazing vet!

They were so kind and respectful through the entire process. After that I made the switch for my personal pet and the staff was so friendly going through explaining plans to make it more affordable for me to give my cat the best care she deserves. Overall they are one of the bests vets I have had the privilege of working with.

That's a long time to "run behind". I wish I'd known, I would have rescheduled. Our appt wasn't an emergency. My dog is 11+ years old, so the waiting was tough on him, but he was such a good boy and didn't whimper once. He was very restless because he has arthritis. Just wish some type of action would have been taken. Still love ACPCW!!!❤

Experiencia positiva: Went it for vet check as we recently received a dog from a previous owner and the vet tech and vet where great , the vet actually gave him a good bill of health and lots of information on the difference in foods and confusion we had when we did your research online and so I thank the vet for her information since we went out and got the right food she recommended for your Simon . I would suggest looking into there planes for health care for dogs as it would be cheaper. So far so good since my original vet passed away this past late spring.

Experiencia fantástica: Good doctors and staff. We recently lost a member of our family and Dr.Brunner came out to our home. I have never met a more caring doctor. She treats them as ond of her own, they all do thier. We have a new member of our family now, and they have us for as long as they are willing! Good people! In fact, I still use Chris, (who was once thier groomer to go out on her own), for our new baby! I love that she has a mobile van now to. They are all pretty awesome as Pet Care West!

Experiencia fantástica: I had taken my dog to the Hartford Vet Clinic two weeks before and they told me that she just had a dog flu and to feed her a bland diet. She was still having issues and The other vet had not done any bloodwork. I called All City pet care West, and they got me in and did the bloodwork and found out my dog had an infection and started treatment for her and she’s much improved after just 24 hours. I really appreciate the time that they took to see me and reassure me that she would be OK

Experiencia fantástica: On vacation our puppy broke her front leg and had to have surgery before returning home to Colorado. They were able to get her in right away and they took great care of her. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I would 100% recommend this office!

I really like that they do not oversell anything (other vets I’ve been to try to sell you every test under the sun leading to an outrageous bill at the end). All-City West staff are truly concerned and empathetic towards my pet’s needs and not what they can soak me for money wise and why I highly recommend them for the furry family members.

Everyone at All City was wonderful with them and understanding about their special circumstances. Our entire visit went much more smoothly than I had anticipated or even hoped for. She was very specific about the options we had for possible testing/choices, etc. I very highly recommend ACPC West! Their reception team is always top notch. I needed an appointment for two cats and got in the same week. Love love love them here!

Experiencia negativa: We will not ever go back and do not trust them with my dog. We went in to get our pup a simple nail trimming, (plus weighing her and a heart worm test) and the trimming was awful. In the pictures below you can see that we left with MULTIPLE nails cut way too short. I can understand one nail being cut too short on accident, but whoever cut her nails didn’t seem to care and went ahead and cut another THREE way too short. Our pup has been bleeding on and off all evening from most of her nails that were cut, and she bleeds just from walking outside to use the bathroom. It is completely ridiculous that no one paid enough attention to see their first mistake, and continued to make them causing our dog to be in pain while getting trimmed, and at home while simply walking. And to top it off when I brought up how short they were cut and that she was bleeding while we were still at the vet, all we got was an “oops” . We will most definitely never come back, and if there is a refund option you bet we’re taking it. It’s unacceptable that this many nails were cut too short.
