The staff, techs, and doctor were very professional, took my concerns seriously, and took the time needed to diagnose my dog and develop a treatment plan. My bill for the visit and medications was very reasonable! I was very impressed with the staff and the way they treated my pup...as if she was their own! Thank you!

However, the cost was significantly higher than other vets we've been too. In addition, they said to make sure to bring in a stool sample, we did, they didn't need it and charged us 8 bucks to dispose of it. I feel like the charges were too high but the staff was amazing.

Experiencia negativa: So I called to set up a vet visit for my puppy!! The Arc will not set up my visit without a down-payment today even though I won't have appointment for a month?? This vet is for sure only about money!! Called about a emergency visit and they told me to set up a visit on Wednesday!! Just wish there was an actual veterinary in eugene area that doesn't only care about money!! I have trupainon insurance that I pay 310 dollars a month for!! So no the money is not the problem!! When I call the vet and only thing they speak about is money you know it is a bad thing for your pet, yes your best friend and loving family member, not saying these are bad people just saying be aware!!

Everyone here are so friendly and very caring!! Came back a few days later for meds and Cooper literally dragged me to front door. I was just giving him a potty break since we drove such a long distance That's gotta say something!!!

Unfortunately, I was quoted $2,300 (with my husbands military discount) for one dog to have 2-3 teeth pulled. Whoever decides the pricing, needs to check themselves. My husband had 3 teeth pulled, he was put under, had issues getting the teeth out, given meds, and they charged only him $900 without insurance but your wanting to charge us an animal that is 1/16 of a human more than double the price? Either you need to find a new supplier or your CEO/owner needs to chill on their bonuses. What happened to complimentary things during operations? Im being charged $6 for needle disposal? It's only $6 but nickel and diming a customer for small things like that adds up and a unnecessary charge! I understand dogs are not humans and its more special technique cuz theyre small. but when its MORE than DOUBLE a human pricing, ya'll need to chill on the 3rd vacation home and think more about the little fur baby thats in pain.

I recently adopted a rescue who’s a bit of a mess and started looking for a behaviorist to help me with suggestions, making sure I am approaching the rehab right and he needed a health check anyway. I was so pleased to see that one of the vets here was also a behaviorist. I got some good advice and suggestions.

Experiencia negativa: This place is inefficient, rude, and all about the money. They repeatedly charged excess cost while providing subpar treatment. One example is when I was concerned about lumps on my dog. The vet was very firm with their belief that they can tell if lumps are bad by feel and I was pushing to get the lump actually tested. They simply told me they know what they are doing, but if I wanna have them tested, I can come back. I call and ask if I can come back for the testing and they refuse saying I need to pay for a new vet visit first. When I say it was approved by the vet, the response was “what, you just want us to go around poking random dogs in their lumps?”. when talking to a manager, the rude and condescending behavior continued. Then my dogs flea medicine stopped working and they refused to let me change medications, insisting that it works. I paid for nearly a year of flea medicine without it working while my dog had continuous itching and fleas. I was bringing her back in every few months cause I was so concerned, and every few months was more fees and more unnecessary testing. When I finally got fed up they were very rude and said I can take my business elsewhere. since I switched vets everything has been more efficient and all my bills have been lower. The new vet also pointed out things in my my dog’s blood work pointing to serious problems and that my dogs vision was failing. Two things that the Ark never mentioned to me once after years of the same tests. They are negligent and they overcharge and they are rude. I would avoid them at all costs.

I have taken my cat there for a couple years now and they have proven negligence each time... the new vet doesn't do what the appointment was for... took my cat in for check up to get new flea meds and we agreed to vaccines and new flea meds and they never gave her any flea treatment and charged me over $450 and still didn't get fleas handled, them saying we didn't give her any but we didn't charge you for it... so what the hell did I pay for and why else did I come in? It was for flea meds and they didn't even do that! This place is bad practice very negligence in there care.

I see the owner is just SO APPLLED that someone would say something about AMANDARAE who was EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME when I asked her for clarification about my pet's meds. Your vets also put my dog's life at risk several times by not filling scripts. You are an irresponsible and unethical office and I will be making many complaints about you and AMANDARAE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TEACH YOUR VET TECHS AND YOUR VETS TO RESPECT THEIR CLIENTS!!!!

My vet and the techs that have helped me and Genghis have always been incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. When Genghis got loose is Portland, they called me before I even knew he had gotten out of the backyard.When I had questions about fence aggression, they had 3 resources for me before I even finished explaining what happened, when we need shots or a checkup Genghis is excited to go in and when I told them we were moving their entire staff came out to say goodbye to us. They are the best.

I love the front setup, how the cat's and dogs each have their own side, allowing my kittes, who are already scared space from the dogs, including being called back from those sides at their appointments. Experiencia negativa: This is the last straw for this overpriced, under experienced and utterly non compassionate veterinary clinic. I drove from Ashland with a 12 year old labradoodle. She has a swollen foot. I was 11 minutes late. I informed the receptionist. There were three accidents on the road. I had my young daughter with me and there was no compassion whatsoever. They said we will have to cancel the appointment and reschedule. I was 1 min over their late policy. The receptionist who is not even working with me, chimes in and decides that she's going to inform me about her fertility issues. It appeared as though she was triggered when I mentioned how much stress I was in because I have children with me and that our dog really needs care. As tears are welling in my eyes I’m clearly in a state of distress not knowing what to do.No alternative options are being presented, no solutions, nothing! The receptionist states that she can't have children medically. This is her childish response to a stressful situation? The receptionists have never been warm in the past visits either so it’s not a one off situation. The Ark has a receptionist that is bitter towards people with children, how can they possibly be compassionate for an elderly dog who might have bone cancer? I can't imagine going to the death and dying process with such an awfully insensitive group who are very much not trauma informed. The vets are great but they seem to have no idea what's going on out in the front. This particular receptionist has caused and will continue to cause further trauma to people who are already going through really difficult times this is a veterinary clinic not high school. Please take some classes in crisis management and have develop compassion Arc veterinary clinic staff! Do not attend this place if you are a highly sensitive person have an elderly dog have children and need a little extra care and sensitivity. I did inform them of my situation. I was very clear and there was not an ounce of compassion. I spoke to three other clinics afterwards about what happened. They were very compassionate and gave a lot of advice for my dog. I highly recommend Veneta veterinary, Terry Sue Wright, or Pawsitive pet. *update in response to the business response below. I have the whole thing recorded. As it turns out, we never talked about rescheduling it never even got to that point there were very few lines exchanged in fact. The ones that were exchanged are here and present in my statement. I have proof. I hope that other review readers can see in the business response how they go into changing the topic and focus it on me for not showing up for many months. I live in Ashland part time for work. I WAS 1 MIN past your 10 min cut off policy. You knew I traveled from Ashland to be there. I called to notify them. There were three accidents on the highway and then I was 1min. late. This appointment was the very next opening I had in my schedule. Again, do not come here unless you are entitled.

Experiencia fantástica: The Ark is wonderful! We’ve met all the vets there over the years and I trust them all with my pets. Each vet is thorough about going over treatment options and the risks and benefits. The vet techs and other staff are also very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I’ve never had an issue with getting an appointment within a reasonable time frame for my pets needs. One of our dogs is extremely nervous and fearful so I’m extra cautious about where I take him, but he receives the absolute best care at the Ark!

Experiencia negativa: Didn't have the best experience here, one of the vet techs was not good with holding or calming my puppy down for her shot and wouldn't let me assist in calming my dog down.she also was very harsh with the way she took a rectal temp. I felt very judged for looking poor . On the phone I was estimated on price for an initial visit being 185 $ and then when I got there they were showing me an estimate that was 350$ I told them 8 was just in for a wellness check and rabies vaccine. I felt very judged for also giving my puppy her parvo shots at home. All in all I think this place is over priced and shitty. Receptionists were very rude as well. I will be looking into other vets in the area.

Their team was able to get an appointment as soon as possible for my kitty, even though I was a new client, since my usual vet was booked out a week. He is a rescue who doesn't trust anyone outside his family. So, I was nervous about his first visit there. I needn't have worried! From the front desk on the staff, who I had given a head's up about my concerns, showed compassion and love that put both of us at ease. He soon relaxed and purred at their gentle touch. I was AMAZED! Dr. Cordes handled him gently, asking questions about his health, asking me about any concerns I might have. She took the time to win his trust before giving him a thorough exam. We are so glad that we found Dr. Cordes and The Ark!

Experiencia fantástica: My elderly Kitty Tempeh, and myself were able to get a next day appointment with the great folks at The Ark Veterinary Clinic…. Here in Eugene Oregon… Tempeh has a history of some ongoing G.I./IBS type of issues… And recently she had what seemed to be a ‘flareup’…that wasn’t seeming to calm down., or resolve. .She was having issues with progressively more reoccurring vomiting… To the point that she was not being able to keep her food down. I was pretty worried. From beginning to end, all of the folks who spoke with us, were clearly interested, attentive, and positive communicators. They were especially busy, so we did have a bit of a longer wait… However it was so worth it! I was so impressed with Dr. Felsher, the VETERINARIAN who came in to see us, apologizing for the long wait. She was an excellent listener, Knowledgeable, and took the time to really understand my Kitties history, and the current situation… She also Took the time to review the Ultrasound and lab studies, That had been ordered by a vet we had recently seen, so I felt that she was really prepared to address the continuing Issues with the more unusual & extended symptoms, of this Episode. I am a retired RN, (wannabe VETERINARIAN ) Who has had considerable experience With animals… so usually also a lot of questions. Dr. Felsher handled me so very well… I didn’t feel rushed, or as though I was somehow Creating stress for her, by Sharing what I had observed, and asking questions as needed. I was impressed with her ability to evaluate and then communicate to me What she felt Would be the Best course of action. Very professional, and yet warm and caring… In spite of the fact, that she was dealing with ‘running behind’… needing to deal with the needs of other patients. I Felt heard, well responded to, And confident that there was hope, to help relieve my kitties suffering…. Whom I was worried, Given her history, might need to be Euthanized… Thus felt much less stressed, calm, & peaceful myself. The only difficulty I experienced, which is in part, due to a medical Condition that I have to deal with… Was the somewhat loud level of sound, In the building and exam room… due to it’s design, and thus more sound issues…. But that is true of other clinics as well…. & Certainly not Enough of a factor that would Prevent future visits. Another real plus of this CLINIC, is that they offer more open Hours, (7 DAYS A WEEK!) then the Majority of other VETERINARY Clinics here in The EUGENE SPRINGFIELD area. I also asked, Given the history and chronicity of my sweet kitties issues, if in the future, it would be possible, to work As much as possible with the same consistent VETERINARIAN, Who would then be familiar with her ongoing issues. The reception staff Indicated, that would generally be possible… And that they strive to make that happen… To the best of their ability. In conclusion, having gone in with feeling somewhat anxious and sad, I really felt like ‘’All the boxes were checked’, During this experience… And what I would always hope to Experience when I need to take my ‘ Furry Kids’ To the doctor.

Experiencia fantástica: Just a regular vaccine update with a very vocal cat. Embarrassing. I do not like that they take my cat out of the exam room to administer the vaccine, but otherwise the visit was much like they have been over the past 15+ years I have been taking my various pets.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful for The Ark. I have been taking my pets here since 2004, and they are always so kind and understanding. They get it that my dogs are my life, and make sure to take care of them as soon I need them to. The doctors are so good with my high stressed girl, and patient with my not aggressive, but sounds scary, very wary boy dog! When it was time for my last dog to go to the Rainbow Bridge, they were so gentle and gave me time to hold her before and after she went. I miss her so much.

Plus they were so great with Yoshi in the exam room even though he's such a nervous nelly They are just the best, I really cannot recommend them enough!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. S is fantastic ! During yesterday's visit for my stressed out old dog, Dr.S helped me prioritise care and testing. I felt so bad I missed signs of what was wrong. Dr.S told me what to watch for and help my dog be comfortable in her end of life. She stayed late on a Saturday for us. I have always found the Drs, techs and assistants to be kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. The front office is hit or miss.

I like that the doctors will call and let you know everything that’s going on with my fur babies and discuss options. I LOVE that they follow up the next day to check in on my fur babies too!

Experiencia fantástica: I was impressed with the team at The Arc Veterinary Clinic. They were all very caring and helpful. They gave my sweet dog Vinnie the best care and were very thorough. They addressed all my questions and concerns and their prices are reasonable.

Experiencia fantástica: Yesterday I took my cat to The Ark for a dental cleaning. The staff is both very professional and caring. Unfortunately, my cat needed a couple of tooth extractions and they even called me today to check my cat's recovery status. I would highly recommend The Ark to everyone who needs a vet.

My senior dog received prompt and professional care at The Ark, and when it came time for us to say goodbye, the staff there couldn't have been more compassionate, caring, and gentle, with both us the humans and with the dog.
