Experiencia negativa: I’m not one to leave negative reviews on one’s business. But this is the worst vet establishment. My grandmother had to have her beloved dog put down as he was sick and old. The staff here was rude when she was going through one of the hardest things she’s ever had to do; putting her best friend to sleep. They made us wait in an exam room for a long time. My grandmother was getting anxious because the dog was in pain and she wanted to get it over with. She asked the vet doctor “when will this be done” the doctor rudely said “do you want someone else to do it” she had no compassion whatsoever for my grandma, or her dog. I get this is your job, and you do this daily, but really…you should be ashamed of yourself. Part of being a doctor is dealing with sad people and showing a bit of compassion. She was awful and is truly in the wrong field if she is going to behave like that. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this practice. This incident was a little over a year ago, my grandmother is still heartbroken about it. Animal care clinic if you’re reading this, has some compassion. Do better. Please.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been using animal care clinic for 25 years. Over the years they had many veterinarians work there. For the past 10+ years Dr. Anderson has been on staff. To be honest, he is the only vet I will let touch my animals, unless it is an emergency. He is a fine vet and always treats my animal family well.

Experiencia fantástica: I've taken my dog here for the last year after 10 years of going somewhere else. One thing great this vet clinic is that they are walk in and available on Saturday in the morning. At my old vet, I always had to have an appointment and call which is terrible for someone who hates to call people. And the appointments were all during normal work hours so that makes it hard to do it. But hey, these folks are available til 6 although if you want something really done you should be there by 515 or so. And Saturday mornings around 11, especially if there is a football game going on, is a great time to go usually. Because it is walk in, sometimes you get no wait, but sometimes you get a decent wait, but hey, that's understandable when you can just show up. As for the care and cost, it all seems very good and reasonable. I particularly recommend Dr Rawls. Finally, using them for boarding is nice and reasonable too. I will often get the bath at the end.

Over the years, they have done a fantastic job treating a variety of minor and serious health issues for my pets. The whole team at the clinic is always kind and caring and the prices are reasonable. Dr. Rawls and Dr. Anderson are the very best veterinarians out there!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Anderson took incredible care of my dog, Mocha, and personally called me after her surgery, which brought so much comfort during a very stressful day. Bailey at the front desk went above and beyond, easing my worries the night before, the morning of, and again at pickup with such genuine compassion. At pickup, multiple staff members made sure I fully understood Mocha’s at-home care, and hearing them call multiple pets by name spoke volumes about how deeply they care. We’ve trusted this clinic since 1987, and they are truly the only veterinary team I trust with my pets.

Experiencia negativa: I made it clear over the phone that I had a voucher to spay/neuter my pet because I couldn't afford to get it done so Huntsville animal services gave me that voucher to help me out. During the phone conversation she asked me all the questions and never once mentioned that I needed to pay for shots! Today was our appointment and we were turned away because I couldn't afford to pay for the required shot that I wasn't informed about over the phone. Had I been told this over the phone, I could have called the other places to get help. I don't recommend this place because they don't communicate everything to you at the beginning. I wasted my time driving there thinking my pet would get fixed today and he didn't.

Experiencia negativa: We were told to have our Dog in office at 0800 for surgery. We dropped her off and left awaiting a call to let us know how the surgery went. We never received any calls. I called in the afternoon after 3:00 to see how it went and was told she hadn't had surgery yet but was next in line. We never heard back on anything and I called again at 4:30. I requested an immediate call back post surgery to let us know how it went. We never received a call. I knew they closed office at 6:00 so I called back at 5:40 and was told she is getting ready for the surgery. I ask again for a immediate callback for a update. It never happened. When I tried to call after hours I got an answering machine and left a message. Again no reply. I called again at 7:00 and again left a message and again no reply. Now I'm left trying to explain to my kids why we never got a post surgery update and I really didn't know why myself. I told them their dog was fine and will be home tomorrow. I only hope that is true. Very poor communication with the pet owner and a total disregard for doing the right thing. Someone should've gave us a update to help ease my family's mind without having to sleep on it until the next day. No excuses.......

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken my cats and dogs to Animal Care Clinic for many years. The vets have always been great and caring. As they take walk-ins (THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart...you will never know how very helpful this has been for us!!!), you may see different vets on different visits. They also have some Saturday hours, which is a further plus for those with limited time during the week. Yes, you may sometimes have to wait if you arrive when it's busy, but this is a small price to pay for the opportunity to show up without an appointment. Recommend you not arrive within 45 minutes of closing time as they stop taking new patients prior to closing.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog got an infection on Fri night and our normal vet was closed till Monday. He was in pain, lethargic, and wouldn't eat. We had a walk-in appointment on Saturday morning and received great care. By the next morning he was showing signs of improvement, and started eating. By Monday, his normal personality was returning. The entire staff was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was very impressed.

Experiencia fantástica: Our cat was in her enclosure on our deck, in our fences in yard, when a dog that our neighbors had recently adopted from a rescue, jumped the fence, dragged our cat in her netted enclosure off the deck into the yard, tore it open and brutally attacked her. It was Friday after 4 and our regular vet directed us to take her to the animal ER instead of their office. The Animal Care Clinic is between the two so I whipped in and ran in with our very mangled kitty hoping for quicker help. Dr. Muller's husband was standing in the lobby and saw us when we walked in and looked at the damage, then went to the back to tell her there was an emergency. They put her on steroids and fluids immediately to keep her from going into shock, then did surgery on her the next morning. They went out for chicken baby food when she wouldn't eat and cared for her as if she were one of their own animals. She returned for two follow-ups. The sutures Dr. Muller did have so healed well that it's truly amazing, knowing the amount of damage that was there. We are often quick to complain when our expectations aren't met, but just as often we forget to give thanks and kudos when the extra mile is taken. I wanted to take the time to Thank Dr. Muller and her team. I can't remember all of the names, but each time I called with questions or concerns, the staff was friendly and so caring, especially Tanisha. There was also a young man there who started Ruby's IV when we first got there, and he was wonderful as well. Thank you all again so much. "I am so glad to be out of my daisy collar! Experiencia negativa: Please do not board your pets here. I’m putting not professional, poor quality and not reliable because I boarded my puppy with them, he was there 5 days and was returned to me skin and bones. I can see his hip and rib bones and I was given back the bag I brought for him and 3 bags of his food remained. Each bag was labeled by me, by hand, with how much to feed him and even to add water. When I talked with a kennel tech, they assured me that they “tried their best” to take care of him however I called while my puppy was boarded and was never once told that he wasn’t eating properly or that they had to give him different food. They didn’t even mention it when my puppy was picked up. The picture of him outside was taken a few days before he was boarded, the picture of him inside was taken the night he got home.

Experiencia fantástica: The vets and the staff really show the animals they care. They know they are fur-babies not just dogs and cats. They really care about their patients!

Experiencia negativa: I used to take my cat here before I kind of stopped because I had an incident here where they scruffed my (very well behaved and undeserving) cat and I felt very uncomfortable with it. My cats been having uti problems and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and take him in since it was urgent and they were one of the only vets open on saturday in my area. I waited for over an hour and when they took us back to give my cat the exam. They opened his carrier to let him out and didn’t even give him the chance to walk out of his carrier before they grabbed him by his scruff and dragged him out. I feel very uncomfortable with this as my cat is very sweet and well behaved. I believe it’s vets like these that make your animals aggressive to the vet. I myself worked at a vet for over a year and been working around cats and dogs for a long time and this is 100% not “protocol” or normal I believe the only time an animal should be scruffed like that is last case scenario when the animal is severely acting out. They didn’t even give my cat a chance to react before they immediately took the most aggressive stance which I am definitely not okay with. I would strongly not recommend taking your animals here.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely love everyone here, from the Vets to the techs and assistants to the front desk-- Specifically Doctor Anderson. I have taken probably half a dozen different animals across town to see him. He is accommodating, efficient, kind, and understanding. My only issue is a particular worker there who frequently handles animals, and the last 2 times are enough that I may not go back. The first time he told me that the dog I brought in (a 10lb terrier) had bit him, which was a bit of a surprise but it seemed like more of a fear response. The most recent incident, I had a 5lb Chihuahua that was backed up and required an enema. like most small dogs, her nips are small and not a danger, but he saw fit to muzzle her (which I'm actually fine with-- that's not the issue). The issue comes in with the gross overreaction of dragging her across the floor out of fear of getting nipped by a 5lb dog, then handing to me covered in her own feces without warning-- apparently she was so fierce that he was too terrified to bother to wipe her down, and too overcome by this fear to let me know before I held her and became slathered in excrement. I drove home with a shaking, traumatized dog and my poop-covered shirt on the floor. i hope that next time i can avoid having him handle any animal i bring in, because i love dr. Anderson and virtually everyone else. but if that's not possible i don't see myself continuing to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Took an adopted 15 year old cat for his first checkup. Dr Anderson did a complete examination. We will continue taking the cat there.

Experiencia negativa: On May 2, I took my dog into animal care clinic for surgery. A week and a half later the pathology report came back stating that the surgery was not successful in that the doctor there did not go deep enough to remove her cancer! I was told it was slow growing, but she would have to have another surgery to remove what Dr Rawls didn’t get At the time of the original surgery and then it would be completely at my expense. I took our beloved pet there with confidence that we would receive the best treatment for her. When I reached back out To Dr.Rawls and also Dr. Mueller, I never received an email nor did I receive a phone call. It’s very discouraging to have to put your pet through Anesthesia again and a three week recovery wearing a cone. If you are a veterinarian doctor, who is an avid lover of animals, I would think that you would care enough to make sure that a Surgery is successful!

Experiencia fantástica: We have always had top notch service from everyone we've had contact with at ACC, from reception to check out (Miranda is our favorite) and everyone in between. We had a 16 year old pup groomed many times by Tabitha, A+ service everytime. Dr Anderson, Dr Rawls and Dr Merritt take time to listen to pet owner concerns and carefully diagnose. We've had patients at ACC for over 20 years and will continue going back.

Experiencia fantástica: They have a great set of people and it's a walk-in clinic. If you have an emergency or need any kind of surgery or grooming you can make an appointment for those. But that's okay because the staff is so friendly and so outgoing and they take care of my animals wonderfully. In the waiting room is set up very nicely waiting.

Experiencia negativa: We decided to originally use this vet because they were close to our home and they had good reviews. Little did we know this would be the start of one of the worst vet experiences I could ever imagine. We have Two pets that we take to this clinic. The First is my dog who suffers from epilepsy not only did they give him the wrong medication which potentially resulted in another seizure, but they then also gave him a brand of flea and tick medication that is not recommended for dogs with epilepsy (He then had another seizure four days later). And now, when trying to get his blood work done that tells us if the Epilepsy meds are safe for his liver, after waiting about 2 weeks, they said the blood sample they took was “compromised” My cat Apollo, who is now dead, Was told to have a gingivitis related issue that was causing him not to eat, when in reality it was kidney failure that was not discovered until I recommended they perform a blood test. In the meantime he suffered through being given steroids which only led to him having internal bleeding and purchasing another medication to stop the bleeding that their recommendation caused. We had to make several visits there after being told it was gingivitis or a gut related issue to only discover he had been dealing with kidney failure the entire time. They only tested for leukemia for some reason. Next they recommended I give him fluids more often than I actually was supposed to which lead to fluid building up around his lungs. At one point they gave us the wrong type of fluids and on another occasion gave us an already opened bag of fluid. They’re nice people and maybe they’re understaffed or something but I will never trust them with my animals ever again. Started taking my animals to Green Cove and they seem to have a much better handle on things.

It didn’t seem right so I took him to Animal Care and it was a negative. Saved my dog from unnecessary stress and treatment and saved me $2500. Thank you Animal Care ❣️

Experiencia negativa: Let our dog die and didn’t even tell us the treatments they were giving her weren’t working. Never bringing another pet here again. I’d rather have the pet die with me and my at home remedies than ever take one of my babies back to this clinic.
