Experiencia fantástica: New to Huntsville and thrilled to find such a friendly and caring clinic for my chihuahua. Saturday appointments, check out/pay in the exam room instead of at the counter, online scheduling of appointments and reminder texts make it so easy for me. Got a basic exam, some vaccines and a heartworm test. No pressure for anything extra. Dr. Ashley was great as was the vet tech and the desk receptionist. Wonderful experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Better than I expected. This is our first pet experience, so I was a bit nervous about being overcharged or taken advantage of because pur lack of knowledge. But we were pleasantly surprised by first how the office didn't smell like dog, and by how accommodating they were to our newness and the children. The tech was great, and I like how they take the dog into another area to perform the care. We appreciated all of the advice and care that the Vet gave us, and it was an experience that solidified where we would go for his care. Very reasonable and competitive prices for puppy care, which was good but it was the other stuff that made it a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Dr. Alex is very knowledgeable and diligent in giving top quality care and advice for what is best for Catie’s welfare! Very impressed with staff and the veterinarian doctor we saw. We had an appt, and I was promptly shown to the waiting room and greeted by my last name. The vet spend generous time with me herself discussing my pet Yorkie. Just my first visit upon relocating to a new vet, but based upon that first visit, I’m very pleased with how the appt went.

Was a bit annoyed at first when my dog was taken out of the exam room from me to see the vet versus vet come into the exam room to meet me first and hear the concerns straight from me, but that was dispelled once the vet came in and thoroughly went over everything with me and listened, even sat on the floor with my anxious dog who desperately wanted head rubs...and then my dog alerted her to an issue I had forgotten. I found the vet knowledgeable, thorough, and a great bedside manner. One thing they could improve is to have offered my dog a treat on his way out. That helps ease his feelings about going there. Perhaps there is good reason not done as the process taking the dog from the room to the vet first. Worked out fine for us.

Even though they are more expensive than my previous vet who retired, there were so many good things that I couldn't take a star away from them for that!

I liked how quickly we were in & out of the office. One thing I would like to be done differently is that the vaccines & exam be done with me present in the room with my dog instead of a separate room. Last time we were there over a year ago they did the exam in the exam room.

Experiencia fantástica: After our pup gave us a scare on a Saturday with our normal vet being closed, Valley Animal Hospital came to the rescue. They relieved all of our worries and concerns- saving us an expensive trip to an emergency vet. They were all super sweet and I was very thankful for them. I would highly recommend them!

Experiencia positiva: The vets and staff have always been kind. The charges and fees are higher than most but I thought it was worth it. Today though was not a good day. Made an appointment earlier and was called today and told they would have to reschedule. Then spoke with office manager and she said they didn’t groom cats at all. Very odd. They did 6 months ago and they made the appointment and then said they were going to reschedule. The attitude was disappointing and I told the office manager from the sound of things maybe I should go somewhere else. She had no problem with that. Very disappointed. They also advertise cat sitting. They don’t do that either, at least that is what they told me.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good care for my pets and the staff is always kind and efficient.Everyone seems to truly love their job and I have been thrilled with every doctor we have seen.Waiting time is minimal and it's always easy to book appointments.Someone always calls to followup with my pets after their visit.I've been with them for years and am happy with them.I have a cat with Irritable bowel syndrome and he has loose and frequent stools.He has had this problem most of his life but the doctors monitor him and prescribe appropriate medication to relieve irritation and loose stool.They also keep track of his diet and make recommendations regarding soft food and kibbles.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here after years of using a different vet in town. Super easy to set up an appointment and all of the staff was super helpful and so friendly. Dr. Alex and the vet tech (I’m so sorry I never got her name!) were both so kind and sweet with my senior dog. They went above and beyond to make sure that I understood everything that was going on and the cost before I committed to anything. The next day, the office called to check up on my dog and make sure she was doing well and to see if I had any questions, which was greatly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this vet and I wish I’d started bringing my dog here sooner!

They have seizures when stressed and she and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we and both dogs were totally comfortable. I always leave knowing Kassie received the best treatment and was treated well. I also love that they are open on Saturdays with full service so I can take Kassie in on the weekend, if needed.

The team at Valley Animal Hospital got us in quickly and made the entire process feel manageable from day one. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better group of professionals to guide me through every step. My pup needed quite a bit of care—flea treatment, UTI treatment, hookworm meds, spaying, and microchipping—and they handled it all with compassion and clear communication. Despite everything she’s been through, my sweet girl still wags her tail every time we walk in, which says a lot about how she’s treated there. I also think they top this up with trying to be empathic to the fact that, our finances may be limited while our love for our furry family members are not, by offering information and access to pet insurance and health packages. The recommended tests were basic level based on symptoms presented and provided sufficient information for initial treatment options. More extensive testing was discussed if Sweetie did not show improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: We followed Dr. Mike Roeder to Valley from another vet practice where he'd been our veterinarian for many years. The staff at Valley are kind and friendly and welcomed my crew in, making us feel right at home!

She made our dog comfortable in the new situation, and answered all of our questions. It’s difficult changing veterinarians but we were pleased with Dr Katherine and also with the vet techs.

They gave a goody bag after the appointment and my little puppy LOVED the little blue squid crinkle squeak toy! I think she had a great experience! They distracted her with food during shots so I don't think she noticed. I like that they didn't give her shots with me there so I wasn't associated if it did hurt.

They fit us in last minute and were just so sweet and caring towards Harley and they explained everything to my husband and myself before, during and after the exam. Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been going to Valley Animal Hospital for 31 years now, and they’ve always been competent and caring with all our animals over the years! We went to Dr. Ashley for Bentley’s annual in March, and he had an infection in his ear and she prescribed an antibiotic with success. Also Bentley swallowed half of a plastic ball 3 months later, 2 days ago, and Dr. Ashley once again took care of him quickly, as time was of the essence, to induce vomiting! He’s fine now. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Here it is a year later, and I realized I didn’t post this review! Bentley survived another year and as usual, Dr. Ashley gave Bentley his wellness exam and vaccines! She was friendly, caring and professional, as always. Dr. Ashley referred to Bentley as hilarious, his endearing quality, and he received a clean bill of health, even after rolling down the staircase that morning, because he was so excited to be going out with us in the car!

Experiencia negativa: Beware! They will try to do illegal stuff. I had three dogs that frequently used this vet for over the course of seven + years. One day I brought one of my dogs in for some tummy issues. I had just left the kohl's next door before running to the vet. After my dog was checked out and it was time for payment I realized that my card was still with the cashier at Kohl’s. I let them know that I needed to run to Kohl’s to grab my card. I already had my dog in my hands so I figured it would be a non issue to take her to Kohl’s while I grabbed my card. They threatened to “hold” my dog for nonpayment. Keep in mind. That is illegal but also I had been an established customer for YEARS and total I had probably paid them well over 7,000 in vet visits and they threatened to hold my dog over like 200 dollars. I would have happily left my dog there if they would have said something like “oh we can hold her her for you while you run get that” but no they treated me like some kind of criminal and without provocation threatened to hold my dog. It used to be a better clinic but over time it switched vets and now it’s less about caring for your animals and more about money. And

Dr Lofty stayed after hours diagnosing a rare emergency condition of my Havanese, stabilized him, and set us up with over night care at ONE OF Huntsville’s Veterinarian ER Hospitals, for which we are very thankful .

We saw dr Katherine and our nurse was with Sara and they treated us like family, always very kind and professional everything was super fantastic. I tried to do all the home remedies I could find to get them better and it just wasn't working. They were seen yesterday at this office and by the time I got them home I already seen a major improvement, I could just tell they were much happier and feeling so much better. It had been years since my babies seen a vet and I never once felt judged for that in this office. They listened to my concerns and made recommendations based on what my animals needed and even helped me work through the recommended treatment and helped me separate what services were of the up most importance vs the ones that can be done at a later time. I am forever grateful to these sweet people and will continue to use them in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a really great experience here! I’m new to the area and my dog had an ear infection. They offered a same day appointment when I called. Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Ashley Calvin was the vet we saw and she was very compassionate and thorough. I felt that prices were on par with our previous vet. They summarized what they would do and the charges beforehand which is really nice because I’ve been charged for things I didn’t necessarily want done at other places. After our visit I received a “report card” with a summary of my pet’s visit, findings and what we discussed which is very helpful if you are trying to relay/recall what happened. It even included her picture which was a very cute surprise lol. Overall I’m very pleased and will definitely be back!

We have moved around a bit and have seen several vets in Florida and Alabama over the last 20 years. The Valley Animal Hospital Clinic never disappoints. Ever vet we've seen has made us a part of our pets health plan. They outlined the financial options and the pros and cons of all exams/labs/tests/procedures. We never felt pressured to do tests or exams that seemed excessive. Most recently we took our very curious by skittish orange boy with tummy issues to see Dr. Katherine. She has been amazing. Very thorough, thoughtful, and kind.

Staff is super efficient and have adapted well to operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prompt response via phone to get pet info, animal pick up by tech from car was low contact, bill payment handled efficiently, and Dr. took plenty of time to discuss exam findings and plan procedures via phone. Four years after COVID and still awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: After trying many vets that couldn’t find a solution to my dog’s reoccurring ear infections, Dr. Ashley was able to address and take care of it in the first visit! Not even a year later, he started having seizures + was diagnosed with epilepsy and the whole team at Valley were so kind and compassionate, as well as willing to work with us to get him treated. An incredible team & so thankful for this group and specifically Dr. Ashley + Carter!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Wendi and ALL the staff from front office staff to the techs are the absolute BEST!!!! They cared for our senior fur baby for years like she was their own with love and compassion. Treatment was always topnotch, considerate of her age with goals of extending quality of life which gave her at least another year with us. Dr. Kuhl stepped in when Dr. Wendi was out and also was wonderful. Best vet and office have ever used!!! Thankyou for all you did for our sweet Sadie.

Experiencia fantástica: I couldn’t trust any other vets the way I do the vets at Valley! Dr. Roeder is so amazing and provides the best care as our primary vet. She’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I also just got seen with Dr. Kuhl for a last minute appointment for our pup Ed after he was displaying symptoms of pneumonia, and I was really happy with her thoroughness and care. The vets as well as the rest of the valley staff take the best care of my babes and I am so grateful for them!

She came to the house and was gentle, kind, and compassionate. She gave us all of the time and space that we needed. Experiencia fantástica: Our appointment was with Dr Ashley for our new puppy. We absolutely love her and her assistant Zoe! We’ve been seeing them since we moved to Huntsville three years ago. They’ve seen us through the heartbreak of losing two elderly dogs to cancer and were so compassionate and caring throughout the process. We also have another dog who has seizures and they always take good care of him as well! The entire staff loves animals and it shows in the way they all speak to and treat their patients. We wouldn’t take our fur babies anywhere else!!

Experiencia fantástica: Last Friday my little French Bulldog somehow hurt herself while I was at a medical appointment and my husband was in the shower. We had no idea what happened but my husband found her laying by the couch which was very much unlike her and she appeared to be in pain when he tried to pick her up. Dr. Catherine and her staff waisted no time in seeing and treating her. We appreciate everyone at Valley Animal Hospital for what they did to make sure my little girl was comfortable. Experiencia fantástica: Veterinarian and team were extremely helpful in a stressful emergency situation. Due to the situation I had to transfer my cat to the emergency clinic, but they did help him very quickly as much as possible and Valley Animal Hospital called the next day to see how he was doing. They could not be more helpful or more kind and I would recommend them to anyone!
