The staff are always willing to help me and answer any of my questions and that's a lot of questions by the way. Now the reality of it. Dr.stone is straight to the point. He does not sugar coat things. When there's something wrong with my dogs, he will explain to me everything and teaches me what to look for, when to worry and when not to worry.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a good doctor. He knows how to fix your dog and cure your dog. Just keep in mind, you’re dealing with an older guy who’s very set in his ways. He’ll school you a bit, and you’re not going to get the overly sweet customer service you might expect elsewhere. His team is excellent, very professional and kind, though he can be a little gruff with them but I’m sure they respect him for his knowledge. He’s that old-school, no-nonsense type who genuinely knows his stuff and cares about helping animals. Bring your dog here if you really need results. Don’t bother making an appointment, it won’t matter much. He runs on his own time, and when you’re there, you’ll see he’s focused on the animals that need him most. You won’t get “five-star hotel” service, but you’ll get solid care from someone who truly knows what he’s doing.

They treat your pets like they would their own. Even when going through tough times, the vet stays honest and very real through the process.

I ended up leaving because when I called the office to know when they will be able to see us, even though we had an appointment, the lady said:” I have no idea, when the room is free.” No apologies! I would not recommend this place to anyone. They treat you like total crap. Once you overbook and make it about money, the quality and the effectiveness of your work diminishes.

I went based off reviews and I loved the reviews for this clinic so I gave it a try, and I appreciated this vet. The Dr was very knowledgeable and to the point. I went in because my puppy had allergies and needed medication and his shots. Jack was a happy puppy afterwards!

Very knowledgeable and definitely old school which is hard to find. I didn’t feel like he was trying to stick me for any little charge he could add on. In fact, he was very reasonable with his fees. He showed he was truly interested in giving my feline its utmost care instead of treating us like signs. Thank you so much for being such a thorough, honest and caring vet. Experiencia fantástica: This vet has been taking care of our animals for 2 generations. HIS prices are reasonable. His office is always packed. WE love the staff. They are great with our pets. They never over sell or over charge you for anything.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t mind spending $. Especially for a loved one. But I felt absolutely rushed, my dog was not treated with love and not given the time needed. They did the bare minimum. Not to mention the rooms are awful and very dirty. My dog was given a medicine but I was never informed any side effects or asked if he was on an empty stomach. The next Morning he’s throwing up, having a hard time getting up and off the bed. Very upsetting. Will never be back nor will I ever recommend this place. When I first arrived I hear the doctor saying to another patient’s dog, “too fix him will be very expensive” who says that??? Red flag, and I should have immediately walked out.

It’s no wonder he has been in practice for so many years. His team is caring and loving and truly made my little kitty feel safe and secure. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Stone is definitely going to be our new vet after seeing him this last month for our cat’s ear infection/paw infection. We came to Dr. Stone after trying 3+ different vets within the last couple years for our cat’s chronic ear infections/paw infections. The other vets we had seen had us bathing our cat 2x per week and putting tons of medications on his ears and paws daily, and all it did was make our cat itchier. Dr. Stone had us stop all of the home treatments, and treated our cat in the office every other week for a bit and now our cat is feeling great. No more scratching his ears, no more biting his paws! Although there will come a day where he gets another infection, I’m glad to know we can take him to Dr. Stone and have him better within a couple weeks! The poor cat had been itchy for the last two years of his life with the other vets. Best vet ever!

He is very upfront and blunt because he puts the priority of your pets health first and wants all of the pets that enter his clinic to leave his care with the best possible outcome to stay alive and healthy. My family has trusted Dr. Stone's opinion for over 16 years and will continue as long as he is around! Experiencia fantástica: I have been bringing my animals to Dr. Stone for over 20 years. He has been an angel on earth for my pets. He truly loves animals and has always provided exactly what my pets need when sick or injured. The office is not fancy as he has been there forever but his knowledge and care makes up for it. I absolutely love the staff as well. They remember you and your pet and have always been so nice and kind and really love animals as well! There is usually a bit of a wait to see him although they do their best to triage their patients, but this wait is because everyone knows he is the best! You will not find better care in the area!

I’ve been going to Dr. Stone for quite some time in fact I always recommend him because he can look at your dog and tell you exactly what’s wrong. He never makes you spend more than you have to and a very caring doctor. Now this last time was an entire different story. My brother in law brought my dog in because I was out of town and my dog got hurt. He was told by the doctor that he had a hairline fracture on his jaw and told us he didn’t have an x-ray machine, and that he couldn’t give him anything for pain because he’s too small and basically kicked him out the door with a referral to an animal hospital. Where they basically told us the same thing, except they gave us medicine for pain and antibiotics. I really didn’t understand why Dr. Stone refused to help my dog, it left me very heartbroken and I will not be bringing my dog there anymore nor will I recommend him. I also recall bringing my mother’s dog there and he completed an x-ray on our German shepherd as well. I don’t know maybe he’s lost sight of what’s important and that’s the animals, pet owners are freaking out about their dogs and might be a bit snappy but that’s like fighting with a mother than taking it out on her child, it’s in very poor taste. I truly am heartbroken.

Experiencia fantástica: It has been a few years ago now and this is my first online review ever. My dog was dying and I knew it she had cancer and this was known to me as well. A friend told me about Dr. Stone and I called to make an appointment to end her suffering. I was told a time and told to just come in and would be escorted to the back and I was. She was a blind Tri-color Jack-Russell named Bo. I have her for 7 years and I was told that she was 13 years old when my then wife brought her to my home. I thought my ex had the age wrong but Dr. Stone confirmed Bo's age when he examined her and said at least 20 years old. This was comforting to me knowing she had a longer then normal lifetime. (Here comes the hard part to talk about). Dr. Stone explained what was going to happen and we went ahead and did it and I held my Bo in my arms as she went to sleep and then passed away looking at me with her blind eyes and hearing my voice and my heart beat as hers stopped. My tears running down my face. Dr. Stone came in and checked her heart and confirmed she was gone and then said to me to take my time however long and say good bye. It is not easy for a man to cry and in front of another man even harder and Dr. Stone showed he understood completely how it feels to lose a loved pet. He said he had 2 other treatment rooms and left me there. The entire staff from the first phone call to when I left was way beyond the little 5 star rating I can give here. They all have my thanks and my respect for the work they do. Dr. Stone was an example of compassion and professionalism.

I've trusted this office through over a half dozen pups and trust him & his staff completely. He's a straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat anything, so if you need to be coddled and want to spend a bunch of money on procedures that probly wont work, this may not be the vet for you.

Me and my family have been taking all our family pets to Dr. Stone for the last 8 years, and we would never have any opinion from nobody else. Whoever I spoke with on the phone referred me to another Vet and when I began explaining that I had been there, she immediately got upset. She said "oh well, good luck" and hung up. Don't know if they have better customer service in person, but the phone customer service is horrible.

Experiencia fantástica: The Dr is very good and very fairly priced. He spayed my dog a while back, when another vet was saying she had cancer and they needed to spay her as well as other things. There was no cancer. It was scar tissue. The good doc here saved me over $2000.00. The vet tecs are so nice and knowledgeable. They make you and your pet feel like they are at home.

He doesn't have a clue when I had to put my cat to rest he just came in talking non stop about his life at such an extreme time of grieving. He took my cat three hours to barbarically put my cat to rest. Very non traditional practice. It was gut wrenching and I can never forget it. He carried my cat to the back and the technician was crying even before the procedure. I'm so sorry for ever going there what should have been a peaceful three minute procedure turned out to be a three hour barbaric inhumane unexplainable passing. God help you if you ever need to put your terminal cat to rest do not do not go here.

Experiencia fantástica: **(Unsolicited and genuine review)) I came into to the office last minute on a Saturday because my puppy didn’t eat for 4 days, vomitting and had diarrhea. It was busy obviously but I was seen in the order I came in. Dr.Stone was knowledgeable and patient with me. Although the office was busy, I didn’t feel like we were rushed or dismissed. He spent time with me and my puppy and answered all my questions. The final bill was reasonable, I think they are one of the cheaper options in the area since I did call around first. The exam fee was $65 and my total bill was $229. Which included stool exam, IV fluids, parvo test, medications, and two cans of medicated food. Dr.Stone treatment was right on point because my dog started acting herself later that evening (eating, playing, etc). I was most impressed that the day following the appointment (Sunday) I received a call from Dr.Stone asking how we were doing. That individualized care is unheard of. Overall I had a great experience and will be returning!!

The vet speaks all over the place and you can’t understand much of what he’s saying but the antibiotics he gave my cat healed him within a week . Experiencia negativa: Made an Appt. After reading some reviews. Took my 8 year old dog for a check up, I mentioned I hard a concern and needed doctor to check a molar. Check up was terribly fast, not even 5 mins, looked into her ears, front teeth only, and clipped 2 nails? I was so confused but didn’t say a word. Went to check out and was told I had to pay $317. They had told me exam was $65 and shots about $45 for one and $27 for another, not sure how we got to $317 and was told he did bloodwork, while I was in the room the whole time (he did not) and that they provided deworm pills (they did not) doctor came to the front and kept saying I don’t want your money honey but still wanted to charge me $317 when it should’ve been $137 according to prices provided to me. He asked me to give the deworm pills back without even confirming with vet tech, he went to the back and came back and said yea you don’t have the pills no problem. My first impression walking in was this place is filthy, you have to call to be let in and have multiple dogs in lobby of all sizes. My dog weights 115 lbs and is trained very well. A bigger dog was let in and they had no control of the situation dog came up to mine. This place should be shut down in my opinion, if you want a good bet go to Sunshine Animal Hospital, where I take my other dogs and have never had an issue, Doctor is great and listens.

A friend referred us to Pasadena and before running any tests Dr. Stone already knew that he had a UTI because his belly was distended. He gave us antibiotics and changed his diet. My dog is thriving now. I would say he saved his life!

Experiencia fantástica: Listen. Dr. Stone is blunt but he is very full of knowledge. He works hard to make sure your pets get better. Learn to listen and it will be the best thing for your pet. It is an older office but you do not need a fancy waiting area. Be patient and listen to what he has to say. My two senior dogs are doing so much better with his help. The prices are incredibly reasonable. For example, one vet charged me $60 for one of their medicines that cost me less than $20 with Dr. Stone.

We have 3 fur babies and Dr David Stone and his staff take very good care of our 1 and 2 year old cats and our 6 month old kitten. Dr Stone is very thorough, knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and funny. His staff is super friendly, caring, and treat our babies like their own from the moment you walk in, are helped, serviced, and until you walk out. The prices are fair, reasonable and more affordable than the vet company we used in the past. This was highly recommended to us by a couple of people in the Pembroke Pines area who own cats and dogs and foster them and have a lot of experience with their care. Every time I go to this clinic I speak to other dog and cat owners who have been going there for years and rave about Dr Stone and his staff. We live in Miami so it's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it.

It was a tragic devastating death. Doctor Stone opened the clinic to help us w her body and cremation process. We were all in tears and devastated. He was professional and compassionate. Him and his wife opened the clinic for us. I totally recommend this clinic to everyone. Atleast anyone who truly loves their pet like family.
