Experiencia fantástica: We've taken all our cats and dogs here, at all three locations at one time or another. We had an end of life occurance with one of our cats and your staff let my daughter and I have the room by ourselves with Keanu. Your people are always good with animals and seem happy to be there, which is then picked up by the animals and helps to put them at ease.

Just took my cat here this past week for vomiting, fowl smelling diarrhea , and no longer eating as of 24 hours & isolating (I have been taking my 2 cats here for at least 4-5 years and had phenomenal service with Dr. Kelly Arthur who moved to Omaha) vet told me to my face “let’s start with blood work , and if that is all normal , we will want to do X-rays to be sure he doesn’t have a blockage due to eating something” . I left my cat there from 8:40 am - 5:15 pm. @ pick up , the Vet filled me in on what she suspected was wrong, and ended it with “if he continues to vomit, please bring him back, we will want to do X-rays to be sure he isn’t blocked” . So I decided to advocate for my cat, and asked at that moment “why didn’t we do X-rays? You stated you’d want to this morning if blood work was normal?” And her response was “well we didn’t get that back till 4oclock “. I can acknowledge that I am NOT the only customer. I accepted that answer & checked out with my cat and took him home. Into the night, he started panting, pacing, and meowing strangely. This absolutely SCARED me! I called the vet back next day & reiterated to her “I really hope we aren’t missing something here since we didn’t do X-rays! “ and she QUICKLY came back at me and said to me “I don’t appreciate you pinning this on me!” And my response was “I am just telling you what you told me you wanted to do yesterday, and we didn’t do that “ and she came back with “I’m pretty sure I told you we’d take it step by step “. (Well yeah, she did say that , but she also put it in my head If she saw normal bloodwork , she’d want X-rays- SHE set the tone for what her concerns would be. NORMAL BLOOD WORK = next step = X-rays ) And she then took a deep breath at me, and said “you know what , I’m not gonna get upset with you, because it’s not gonna do us any good”. I was baffled……. Instead of her having confidence in herself, and that she’s making “the right call” on action plan for my cat, she instead got beyond defensive & made me feel like I’m an asshole for advocating for my animal , and me being panicked and scared. I was never rude, never showed frustration, I was just DIRECT with her. She decided to prescribe an antibiotic the next day - I am unsure why we weren’t given that the day we checked out? If she thought that would have helped. We were only given a probiotic . No one ever requested a fecal sample, I thought that was strange. This is my second/last straw. First issue was when I took my older cat in to be put to rest. While my cat is slowly fading, and struggling in my arms, they were VERY adamant that I needed to pay up front for euthanasia before they did it. They then took time to ask “would you like a paw print for $?” No…. I’m ready to put him to rest, he’s struggling… “would you like a cremation for $?” No….. I’m ready to put him to rest… they then said they’d go prep the medication and give me time to say goodbye. It was way more painful to witness him fading. It took for my step dad to poke his head in the back and say “hey! We are ready in here!” And they again said “okay! Have you paid!?” WOW……. That incident was fall of 2024… I’m done with this place for sure

Experiencia negativa: Love Dr Nixon. Spent a lot of years and money at Clocktower. When I needed help with a sick dog they referred me to EVS- that was not even open. Paid for vaccinations, spays, nail trims, food and end of life care over the years but when we needed them for a sick dog - they failed us. Their business, their choices - not mine. I never hesitated over money - but this is not a business model I support. Really made me sad.

Every member of their staff shows affection and true care and concern for every animal they see. And they do very well with stressed out and worried pet owners also. The staff is always willing to answer questions. They are never dismissive and they don't make a person feel like they are "less than" because they are asking questions. The facility is state of the art, and very clean inside and outside. Some vet clinics smell horrible, but Clock Tower Animal Clinic simply smells clean. I drive from Fremont to bring my dog to them. I have lots of vet options in Fremont and points in between, but I will gladly endure that drive for the quality of service I receive. The pet store next door is a great assett also. Lots of unique items and a very friendly sales staff. I highly recommend Clock Tower Animal Clinic.

I am the owner of a very nervous dog and the vet we were seeing previously made him act out in ways I had never seen before he was always uncomfortable no matter what the visit was for. At clock tower my dog was so much more relaxed and my concerns were taken seriously and not brushed off. I’m so glad to have made the switch of care and know that my animals are going to have excellent care from here on out!

Clock Tower was proactive with her, and reasonable as well. They watch out for their clients. I was looking for a prescription from Clock Tower for Bravecto to order on-line, and the gal who answered asked what the on-line store was charging. She said they provide the same med at a lower cost. Very thankful for this as it is an expensive medication. I highly recommend Clock Tower!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my dog Prescott to Clock Tower Animal Clinic because my previous veterinarian was way out on branch Oak Road, which is quite a drive from where I live. My friends recommended me to Clocktower Animal Clinic because they take their cat there. My dog was due for his shots and I have been outside is a lot of gardening and my dog had Got a bunch of chigger Bites Around his penis, it was literally raw. When I arrive, the reception, staff was very professional and very courteous. My veterinarian was able to give him all his shots, they cleaned his anal glands and recommended he come in every two months due to the amount they were able to express. They gave me an antibiotic to give with him with his meals, which he is not having a problem with taking them. The facility itself was very clean very welcoming, whereas my other veterinarian had a small space with limited seating. My dog gets anxious and takes medication for his anxiety, and he was much calmer throughout his examination. He has found a new home with Clock Tower Animal. Clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a very busy clinic and yet, they know who I am by sight. I had came into the clinic for a shot for my dog. They were swamped. Yet Lorie looked up, made eye contact with me, and when she was finished with what she was doing, went to the back and got the meds I needed. Totally wait time...maybe 5 minutes. The doctors and staff are amazing. I love everyone at Clock Tower Vets, the receptions, the vet techs and the doctors, are amazing and truly care about your pet!

Experiencia negativa: do NOT go here!! Spent $1,600 for a surgery for my cat to almost die, and had to go get another surgery elsewhere to fix what this place did to her! They gave her WAY to much anesthesia and was very hard for her to get off of it! The stitches came undone and led to an infection! I do NOT recommend!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! My 15 year old dog is dying. His spine is fused. Dr Nixon prescribed him codeine to get him to Kansas to obtain a final opinion. Nothing could be done, so when we got back Dr Nixon prescribed an additional prescription to keep my dog comfortable for the last week or two so he could at least enjoy some outings and not be in pain until the home visit vet was able to get there to send Tomi to Heaven. I took the prescription to Stockwell Pharmacy who said it was printed on the wrong paper, regular printer paper and could be copied, so he had to verify it. He called Clocktower, but the staff said Dr. Nixon was out of the office and no one else would approve it because they didn't know the situation, and some receptionist named KELCEY refused to call Dr Nixon because "it's her time off, that's disrespectful." Doctors are always on call for emergencies, and she didn't think a suffering dog in agonizing pain was an emergency, although Kelcey the receptionist is not a doctor. When Dr. Nixon came back, I was told she would not honor the prescription she wrote, and would not give a reason why and refused to talk to me. I drove down there to see if we could work this out, but she wouldn't see me. Why would a doctor write a prescription that she wouldn't back up, and won't tell me why not? You wouldn't accept this from a human doctor, and you don't want your animals to suffer, don't expect help from Clocktower, and take your animals ANYWHERE else!

Amazing people from the time you get there, until they say have a good rest of your day. Thanks to all of them from my family and my fur babies.

Experiencia fantástica: Inexpensive, and great service? Looks like I found my cats new veterinarian. Not only is this vet gentle and caring with animals, she also proved to be genuine and straight forward with us owners as well. My elder cat very suddenly started experiencing trouble with his balance, and was having difficulty walking and not falling over. After looking up reviews online I called this office. They got me in the very next day. The female veterinarian was very patient with my grouchy old cat and wasn't harsh with him even when he did get a bit nippy when she touched places he didn't like (unlike the last vet we took him to who even after my telling him to be gentle in advance still got so upset that he pushed and held him down instead for the remainder of the appointment). This vet was very direct about our options. Told us her recommendation of where to start, along with what the next steps could be if the issue didn't resolve. Knowing money was a bit of an issue she absolutely did not try and tell us he needed anything extra or more than that. She didn't suggest we do all this expensive crap unless and until it became necessary, and we left feeling really happy that we finally found a new vet for our animals that we can trust.

Experiencia negativa: My son took the cat he rescued to this clinic and what a disappointment! Max was rescued, declawed, kept in his kennel for hours before Trent took him. We are against vaccines unless absolutely necessary. Veterinarians are happy to cut off a cats claws used for protection, grooming and more, but God forbid you don’t give a rabies shot to a cat that is never outside or around other cats? Your threat to call authorities is pathetic, and was just a way to show your power. This manager without offering any professionalism or trying to bring down the level of pressure; sided with staff without a fair account of events. This office was rude, Max didn’t have a checkup which was the intention to prepare him for dental surgery.. they insisted on a rabies vaccine and charged $85. Max hissed at the attendant; you obviously aren’t a candidate for respectable animal care. He was afraid and your cold attempts to work with him was felt! They say animals know what a person is really like and their intentions. I absolutely believe that was the case here!

Experiencia fantástica: Great service and care for my dog while pursuing noninvasive care first and cost effective care. They treat the source of the problem so that the symptoms stop and treat the symptoms so that your animal is in good care. My only complaint would be punctuality, it often feels like going to the doctor where to show up for your appointment at the scheduled time and then wait 15-30 minutes to go into the private waiting room which can be anywhere from 5-30 minutes. All of it makes sense though because they’re running triage on many animals and taking care of the most immediate concerns first. I love going to clock tower!

Experiencia negativa: Four years ago I rated this clinic a five-star. Now it's a one star. After the passing of the founder two new veterinarians took over the clinic. I had been a customer of theirs for nearly 20 years and my family for over 40 years. For a year or so they stayed true to the founders style but now it's nothing but a money-making machine. I took my dogs in there yesterday even though I booked the appointment for next week. They were sending me verification texts and emails for yesterday so I went because I was free. The waiting room was packed full. They weighed my dogs and told us we had to wait outside because my dog barks at other dogs. It was 100° heat index. My dogs were hot and excited from the ride over and now we're all standing in the heat dying. After 15 minutes we went to my car and turned on the air conditioner and sat in there until a tech came out to get us. First thing she said is "we're going to weigh your dogs". I told her "they weighed them when I came in". No communication. Then technicians administered vaccinations. I took my dogs to the car and came back in to settle up and they had given my dogs treatment I asked not be done. They had to get a manager to address the problem and the manager blamed me for the mistake. The receptionist also mention "this is our busiest day and time of the week". I responded with "your people scheduled all this so you're responsible for it being this busy". I then told the manager to charge me whatever she wanted and I was never coming back!!! She then started to remove charges from my bill. During all this time my dogs are in a hot car. It was the worst display of management, organization, communication, customer service and pet care I've ever experienced. I would recommend no one use their Clinic. FIND ANOTHER VET! It is all about making money now and not about pet care. That is not what the founder provided.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Clock Tower Animal Clinic for over 15 years for our pets. They are very efficient, organized, and caring, with friendly docs who want what is best for our pets. Once, years ago, when I had a very ill pet, one of the doctors even gave me her cell phone number in case I had questions or concerns. I also think their costs are competitive with others and not too high. Finally, I think their use of the PetDesk app and the fact that they have a texting line for any questions, makes getting answers very convenient.

I also really appreciate how CLEAN their office is and that somehow even though it is a veterinarian clinic it does NOT smell like a zoo. :) Man, y'all have knocked out it if the park, we will not go back to another office!!!

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best experiences at a vet clinic I have ever had. The vet staff was more than kind and sweet to my dog. Helped me when they saw I had my hands full with my squirrel of a dog lol. I’m talking made me feel so comfortable and okay as my dog is literally ping pinging and jumping out of excitement. Insisted I didn’t apologize and kept telling me they understood he was simply excited. I was so happy to be around so kind and understanding people. As I had taken him on an hour walk prior to this to help with his energy level and they didn’t even flinch when he acted crazy. Aside from that they actually helped my animal, they checked him over and sent me out quickly but efficiently. I have already recommended them to many of my animal owner friends as this was just a great experience. The price alone to take care of your animal is just astonishing. I walked out with a bill significantly under $200 to get my pet to stop being so itchy and flaky and miserable. 10/10 for this clinic.

During our most recent scare the two previously mentioned docs were out of office and Dr. Arthur was super awesome. Very caring, very thorough. I appreciate a veterinarian that treats a pet as they would treat their own. Clocktower is 1st Rate!

They took care of my dog when she was very sick and needed round the clock care after being overnight at an emergency clinic. Clocktower got her in right away the next morning and gave her veterinary care, IV fluids and medicine until she was stable to go home. They have reasonable prices, also. I highly recommend their services!

Experiencia fantástica: The best vet in Lincoln. Period. When I first got my dog, I was under a pretty strict budget but also passionate about getting her the best possible care. I looked around a LOT. We tried like 4 vets before we landed on Clocktower. At the time, Clocktower was slightly pricier than other vets but I believe that has evened out. Especially because Clocktower charges just for the services you received that day and doesn’t charge an extra fee just because you walked in for an appointment. But what is the most important part? They have ALWAYS handled both me and my dogs with extraordinary care. Like text updates with pictures when she came out of anesthesia for a dental kind of care. They also recently moved facilities and the new one is absolutely stunning with so much lobby room to give the pets room to breathe. My first dog has been a patient here for 5 years now and this will be her vet until we move.

They checked me in with ease and were great to work with before and after the appointment. Dr. Schlenker was amazing with my dog. She greeted me, but then immediately greeted my dog. My dog was comfortable right away. She did a thorough exam and explained everything until I was sure I understood. I would highly recommend Clock Tower Animal Clinic!

Experiencia fantástica: We had our dog spayed and a regrown dew claw removed. They took wonderful care of her and even sent us a picture of her when she just waking up from her anesthesia. They a are professional and caring I highly recommend them! Also, their new location is really nice.

Experiencia fantástica: We left another Lincoln vet clinic because our vet left and we thought the charge for multiple teeth extractions was excessive for our dachshund. In looking for another clinic I surveyed four Lincoln clinics for pricing on a few basic procedures. Clocktower had the best prices. We met Dr Kolterman for the first time at their new facility. Dr K was great and so was the new facility. We got expensive Heartguard from their office and their prices were in line with Costco pharmacy. Lanny Carlson

Experiencia fantástica: We have been with Clock Tower Animal Clinic for well over 25 years that includes prior and current ownership and have always been very satisfied with how the doctors and staff take care of our animals. At present we have ten cats (we live on an acreage and when they come to us we take them in) and not only do the doctors and staff treat us well whenever one of our critters needs help but they also provide a professional and caring service. When we call to get an appointment on short notice, they promptly respond and get us in and take care of things. This place is completely out of the way for us based on where we live but regardless we will never switch to a different clinic because of how they take care of our pets. We have read the other reviews and agree with the experiences other pet lovers have had. Thanks Clock Tower doctors and staff for the excellent job you continue to do day in and day out.

The doctors and tech staff are wonderful and have taken care of all my pups as if they were their own. Even through the recent heartbreaking passing on of our sweet old pup, they never lacked compassion and the highest level of care. We are so glad to have a vet clinic that we trust, that is honest and transparent from start to finish. Thank you for everything!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Kelly Arthur saw my 5lb dog for an itching problem. During the three minute visit she wanted to do a urine test, a complete blood count, and an EKG. She also wanted to start monthly shots for arthritis based on the fact my dogs back was rounded while standing on the cold small scale. I declined all of the tests and walked out with anti-itching meds and an antibiotic and a bill for $160. Six days later I found fleas on my dog! Had Dr. Arthur taken the time (that I paid for) to examine my dog for the problem I brought her in for, we could have saved this poor little dog from unnecessary medication and several days of itching herself miserably.- I have taken my pets to Clock Tower for 15 years! I will not go back after this last visit. This should have been a very simple diagnosis had she spent a few minutes with my dog and properly examined her. I understand Clock Tower is building a new clinic and growing their business, but it is very sad to watch a neighborhood business loose their integrity in the process.

Experiencia fantástica: We had to take our cat in for his rabies and distemper shots. He is a house cat, so it stresses him when we leave the house. We have never seen him hiss or growl the way he did with the vet. She handled him like a champ and with care. Thank you Clock Tower.
