Experiencia negativa: I’ve been coming to this location for at least 8 or 9 years and have never had an issue. My dog has been on a wellness plan here for years without any problems. Over the last few months, I’ve been out of town helping care for my grandmother, who is very sick and dying. Where I’ve been staying in the mountains, my phone service goes in and out. During that time, I got a new credit card, and unfortunately it was never updated on my account even though I left someone responsible for updating it for me while I was gone. When I called, the receptionist told me I owed two balances, which I understood and was prepared to take care of. I was also informed that an additional amount was added because the plan was canceled again, not ideal, but I accepted responsibility. What I cannot accept is being told that my dog cannot be seen by a vet while he is sick until the balance is fully paid. After being a loyal customer for nearly a decade, to be denied medical care for my dog over a billing issue feels unreasonable and incredibly disappointing. I was told I couldn’t even schedule an appointment until the balance was paid. So what my dog is just supposed to suffer? When I was going to pay For everything out of pocket. This experience has been extremely upsetting, especially given everything I’ve been dealing with personally. After years of loyalty, I expected at least some compassion or flexibility. Because of this, I will not be returning to this location.

Experiencia fantástica: I was pleasantly surprised they take walk in appointments which is super convenient for my always changing schedule. Dr. Manika was a god sent along with the entire staff

Yes, we started Walk-In appts on March 2nd. We can now see additional patients Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:30. I am glad to hear Dr. Manika was a godsend, as well as our entire team. I will make sure to pass along the great comments.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to springbrook for a second opinion and they will now be my man vet. Dr Maria Sprang was so kind and was conservative in care which was surprising for me. Nothing felt like a money grab, she genuinely seemed to care and want what was best for my girl. The tech was also great! The receptionists could be a little more kind and professional.

Experiencia negativa: We come here for our bird. His beak over grows. I made an appointment for a beak trim and when I checked out they decided to charge me for an annual fee among other things that I didnt authorize. Unfortunately this is the only place that takes birds so ill be back but watch what youre charged for. Ill walk out next time they try and over charge me. They are lucky im not disputing the credit card charge this time.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Timmons has been Ivy's Dr for most of her life. She loves him and is always eager to visit. Ivy has been healthy for the most part but when she needs medical attention the whole staff is so empathetic and professional. Experiencia fantástica: Brought in a sick Bearded dragon (reptile). I was impressed with the time and care by the staff. Everyone was friendly and they didn't make you feel rushed or make you feel like a bad pet owner. Dr. Manika was thorough and took the time to discuss real options and possible outcomes. The future is still uncertain yet for my poor little Beardie. It is nice to know there is a place to trust that is not just concerned with their bottom line.

Experiencia fantástica: Groomers at Springbrook are very good. Babe, our half basset at half St. Bernard dog, always needs to have the undercoat addressed when he is paid in order to stop the shedding. They do a great job with him. Also, the doctors are always available to talk with you and easily return phone calls when you have questions. I requested that babe be checked for yeast infection because he has been licking his paws And the doctor called me back and discussed what she saw and what I should do to treat it. This particular that is also extremely good when you have lost a pet or need to put a pet down. They Make a set of paw prints after their pet has passed, and we also received a card signed by the Their sympathies. They also will make a Castor plaque of the dogs paw For an ornament or keepsake. We have been very pleased with them over the last 10 years.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here for all of my pets surgeries. I live about an hour drive away but the travel is worth it for the quality of care shown each time I've been. My dog has had two tplo surgeries (both by Dr. Timmons) my cat has had an anal saculectomy (also by Dr. Timmons) and my dog is going back in tomorrow for a toe amputation and mass removal due to a large growth on his toe (will be done by Dr. Howard and Dr. Timmons). Each time I have been there they have been caring, kind, and thorough in their care and attention. Each of the surgiers my pets have had were necessary but stressful, as any pet parent would understand, but knowing what good hands they are in has helped ease my anxiety each time. I am so incredibly grateful to this practice and it's doctors as they have helped me to give my pets a comfortable and happy life, regardless of how complicated or uncommon the surgery needed was.

Experiencia negativa: Been a patient here for a few years. No real complaints but never needed more than a checkup. One day my dog started limping out of nowhere, and I called to see if they could get him in just to take a look. Was told they could see me at 2 pm in a week. You would expect that a vet would leave a certain number of slots open for urgent issues that can't be planned out. Basically was told to figure it out until they can schedule him an appointment and he’s in pin for a week. Ridiculous customer service. This is not even to mention the issue that they recently took away your freedom to use chewy or outside prescription filler to save money. You now have to use them as your supplier. Long time customer but I won't be returning.

My dog and I were visiting from very far out of town and I was concerned about some weird eating behaviors. Experiencia positiva: Everything went really well. The Doctor was very professional and knowledgeable! The only thing the girls at the desk were not friendly. I had to stand almost 5 minutes before anyone greeted me or made eye contact, even after I said hello. Not good customer service :(

Experiencia fantástica: Thankfully, we have not needed them often lately, but this past week we got our two cats in for checkups and shots. Both of them were rescues eight years ago and were considered "unadoptable" because they were so skittish and untrusting of humans. While they have come to love and trust us, we were worried about how they would act at the clinic. Dr. Ramir was absolutely amazing as were the techs! You have our complete appreciation and loyalty!!

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my dog in recently for a nail trim. I scheduled the appointment online a couple weeks ago for 2pm. I got an email a couple days ago to confirm the appointment for 2pm (see photo), which I did. My husband got a text the day of the appt stating the appointment was at 1:30pm, so he called to confirm the time as I never received an email or text with that time. The person he spoke to told him the appt is 1:30pm. When I got to vet, I explained the situation as I am not sure why the appt time was changed nor why I was not notified about the time change as I wouldn’t have known about the time change unless my husband told me about it. The lady said she wasn’t sure about the appt time since she wasn’t the one that made the appointment.. yea cause I made the appt myself. She then said doesn’t know why I didn’t get a text when I am the primary phone number for my dog. She didn’t apologize nor try to offer any other solutions. She told me I can always call in the future if I have questions about the appointment time, but why would I have questions about the time when I chose the specific time & got an email confirmation with the time I chose 2 days prior? I’m only leaving this review because I’m afraid this situation will happen again & that I will get penalized somehow if it results in me being late to an appointment when the time was changed with your my knowledge or approval. I also hope management can provide a solution so I can get texts regarding appointments as I’ve never gotten texts even though I am the primary contact. Other than this, no significant issues with the location. UPDATE: Betsy, the manager, called me 8/29/25 regarding my review. I unfortunately was not able to answer due to work and forgot to call back. She called me again today to follow-up regarding my review. She was so apologetic and made sure to help come up with a solution to the issue above. I really appreciate the time and energy she took to make sure there was a resolution. Thank you, Betsy!

Experiencia negativa: Major Communication Issues Adopted our dog through this center and used the vet for some checks ups, shots and giardia tests– all those appointments were fine. Recently we've had major communication issues with this vet over a heartworm prescription. They partnered with a new service called PetCove and we were forced to use them instead of Chewy for medication fulfillment. Petcove doesnt provide any shipping timeframes or tracking and our order was lost. Usually no big deal, but they said their system wouldn't allow them to place a new order and that we needed to go back to the vet for a new prescription. Contacted the vet who initially issued a new prescription but gave us the incorrect dosage- again not a big deal if they can quickly fix it. It has now been over a week since they told us they'd update the prescription and we haven't heard any updates. They don't have a direct line, only voicemail. Our last voicemail from a few days ago hasn't been returned. This has been unprofessional– we've had to contact them 4 times for what should be a simple immediate fix and it's still unresolved. Our dog is going to miss his dose this month and we've become pretty upset with Springbrook and have decided to move on from them.

Experiencia negativa: This review is ONLY directed towards the front desk staff. The back of house staff and veterinarians are always lovely and caring. As a long-time client of Springbrook Animal Care Center, I'm heartbroken to write this review. Our puppy has been coming here since day one, but the quality of up front service has plummeted to an unacceptable level. The front desk staff exhibit zero interest in clients or their pets. They avoid eye contact, display consistently poor attitudes, and treat you like nothing more than a transaction number. The palpable disinterest from the staff makes every visit uncomfortable, if you hate your job that much, please find another one where you won't negatively impact pet owners during stressful, as it is, veterinary visits. The lack of warmth or basic customer service from both front staff is astounding. We only continue coming here out of convenience since switching vets mid-care is challenging, but that's literally the only reason. To management: Your front staff's attitudes are destroying your practice's reputation. It's no longer an enjoyable experience to come here under any circumstance. And this isn't a one off, this is the last 6 or 7 times we've been here.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog woke up sick, not eating and low energy. Our regular vet was not able see him for two weeks. Springbrook got him in within an hour. She gave him a good check and we are waiting on blood work. The whole staff was great with him. We will be transferring to Springbrook.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Howard and the veterinary member who we saw prior to her were both amazing in assuring Pebble had a comfortable check up and injections appointment. Her and her assistant answered my super tedious list of questions with their full care and attention. I’d have to give a single star off for the wait time as we waited for a while past our scheduled appointment start time. However, we weren’t made to feel rushed during Pebble’s appointment.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a customer with Springbrook Animal Care Center for 10 years; however, I will not go back due to the lack of respect, empathy and concern for the well-being of Coco, my dog. On my recent visit for vaccines and dog grooming, I waited quite a long time before anyone greeted me, with 3 females standing at the front counter. When it was my turn, another person stepped in front of me. I thought this was extremely rude; when I mentioned it to the person behind the counter, she dismissed it and became ruder and defensive. Yet I did not leave. Instead, I handed Coco, my dog, over to an attendant, Morgan. She placed a lead around him, and then tugged him when he did not immediately follow. Instead of apologizing, she became argumentative. I was shocked by her lack of empathy. Since I needed to return to work, they asked me if they should contact me by phone call or text; I responded "phone call only" , which they wrote down. I didn’t receive a phone call after Coco’s grooming was done; instead, a text. My phone charging and I was relying on hearing the phone ring. Coco was kept caged for several hours after his grooming. I thought we avoided this and was disappointed they ignored my request for a call. They had asked me whether I would like a call or text. I mentioned that my dog has a hard time with long confinement; they shrugged it off. I requested a call-back from the Manager, who is Betsy, at Springbrook and it took 6 days which turned out to be another text message, and not a call-back. The manager did treat me or Coco as valued customers. After a 10-year relationship, we will never return to this care center again. The quality of animal care there seems to have vanished.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve never had such a negative experience with the lack customer service or response from your front desk clerk. When I arrived for my appointment, there were several people standing around with their dogs and there was no defined line or order . When I greeted the female (white, with long light brown hair) clerk at the front desk and asked if there was a line, I was acknowledged with look of distain and only a head shake. She was not on the phone or customer facing at the time. As I moved into the lobby, I asked one of the customers if they were in line and then I waited to be checked in. Sometime later, another clerk came out to help and, fortunately for me when it was my turn, that clerk was the one that checked me in. She was polite and respectful. After I was seen, I again went to the lobby to wait to be checked out. Again the woman who had the look of distant was seated behind the desk. This time the lobby was empty. After 20mins of waiting, I advised the female clerk I needed to leave for a work commitment and would be back later, I received a blank stare. It was an awkward and frankly unpleasant. Perhaps emotional intelligence training would benefit this employee for the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Dado was exceptional! She showed my old dog the most love and care and i could really tell she was knowledgeable about treating my pet. Experiencia fantástica: This was our first visit to Springbrook ACC and we came with our newly adopted puppy because of a free wellness visit certificate we received during adoption. (We have another dog that visits a different veterinary clinic.) SACC was nice and clean and bright during our visit. The most important part of the visit was the best - when the vet examined our puppy and spoke with us and responded to our questions. Dr. Dado was fantastic! She was kind and attentive with our puppy and listened to our concerns. Dr. Dado explained everything clearly and openly and I got a good feeling about her ability to connect with animals. We also got an immediate call from Dr. Dado just a few minutes after we left informing us that if we turned around, she could have a medication for our pup waiting for us right away. (A specific parasite was detected in our pup's specimen.) Overall, a very good experience and we look forward to seeing Dr. Dado again in a few weeks for our puppy's next appointment!

Experiencia negativa: My husband took our dog there for his visit and shots. They up sold him a prescription for heartworm and tic meds that we didn't need . When I brought the unopened boxes back in for a refund because it was $400 for a medicine I can buy anywhere else for allot less. I was told they wouldn't take it back, because it's against policy, although the did it in the past when we lost our previous dog. And it is not written anywhere that they provided me. They pushed back on every request I made with notating the account to not push extra meds and told me my husband needed to be responsible enough to know not to approve the extra charges. They ultimately called both of us dumb and would not help at all. Then I said that I should be happy because at least they used a coupon on the meds. They could not have been more unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: The team here is super nice and very caring for my pets. I have 3 cats that are literally my world. I have been going to springboks animal hospital for my pets care for many years now and it's one of the few clinics I've been to that keeps the same staff. Whenever I go in it's always nice to seem a familiar face and people that take the time to learn my pet's names and needs. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced for the area and love the facilities! If you want to feel like your needs and your fur babies needs are being heard and understood this is the place for you to be!

Experiencia negativa: Store policy is to drop off your pet between 7am - 8am for all grooming appointments.Your not told when they'll be done. Not sure if that hour window dictates first come first serve because I'm very confused why I couldn't pick them up till 3pm. He weighs 18lbs, and the trim he received was definitely not something that should take 7hrs. Also not worth the 80+$ for it either.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely loved my experience here. I never thought I would find myself seeing a vet for a hamster... But here we are. Both the tech and doctor were so incredibly gentle and kind, spoke directly to my daughter, and were very real with what was going on, but gentle with words. We are doing all we can to keep her alive and they showed a genuine interest and just as much love for her and her pet as I did. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I could not have been happier with my experience there.

Experiencia positiva: Took Lucy for grooming and a shot. She came home limping. She is older so called to see if something happened. They checked with groomer and had the doctor call back so I felt there was concern there. When I dropped her off I was a little upset because they have a new rule that you have to have an exam and some shots with the doctor so another appointment has to be made. My comment to that was so you can get another $75.00 from me? If there is nothing wrong with my dog there’s no reason I should have to be there since she could get shots and grooming before. If she needed an exam I’d ask for one. Well that’s their new rules so I may be changing. She wasn’t limping when I dropped her off! Hmmmm

Experiencia fantástica: I was so nervous about my girl getting her spay, especially since she has never left my side or have been around strangers. I couldn't even sleep the night before. All my fears were put at ease with the amazing staff here at Springbrook. Her surgery was a success !! I couldn't be more happier. It's a far drive for me, but it was so worth it. They treat the baby furs with compassion and care. While we were waiting to get picked up we saw so many wagging tails when the staff members took them in. That too me meant a lot. ❤

Experiencia fantástica: I decided to make an appointment at Springbrook Animal Care Center in south Naperville to obtain a second opinion regarding my dog’s health status. Last minute, I was fortunate to have a slot time open being it was less than 24 hours when I made the appointment online. My dog, a Shih Tzu, named Charlie, had gone to another vet, who ran tests and it was discovered he had a tumor along with kidney stones and we were told that unless treated, it could prove to be fatal for our pet. At SACC, we met with Rachel, the tech, who welcomed both me and my dog, Charlie. She was very thoughtful and considerate as she inquired about the reason for our visit. She then continued to explain what we were to expect. She was professional, kind, and informative, and was also patient. The vet, Dr. Sprang came in after Rachel and stated she was briefed about Charlie and planned to have an xray done to check on Charlie’s bladder. It was quick, as she returned and confirmed that Charlie did, in fact, have kidney stones, and that surgery would be an option to remove it. She also performed an ultrasound where it was confirmed that there was a mass around the prostate that most likely was causing urinary retention from Charlie due to a possible blockage in the uterer. All this said, SPRINGBROOK ANIMAL CARE CENTER from the time you walked in until the time you walked out of the facility were attentive to our needs. Everyone was helpful and patient and everything went smoothly. I was impressed at how everyone was so nice and professional, and so helpful. I definitely would recommend this animal care center to have your pet treated. Kudos to the entire staff, especially to Rachel and Dr. Sprang. Experiencia fantástica: I have always been very happy with every aspect of the service here for the seven years now that I have been bringing my dogs to SACC. Dr Timmons and Dr Chestnut have both done surgery on two of my dogs and more recently we have seen Dr Crossan and just this week met Dr Howard, who were both also wonderful. The front office staff have always been very accommodating and always managed to get us in for an emergency visits and the vet techs are very thorough and considerate as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Great visit to Springbrook Animal Care Center in Naperville. We brought our senior beagle into Center because she is limping. Doctor K. Manika took time to explain treatment options. Prescribed Meds for her Pain, and our sweetie feeling better. This is ongoing treatment plan so we are taking one day at a time. Doctor Manika even said she would check on her later this week. Great care!!

Experiencia negativa: The prices are constantly increasing and the exams and tech appointments are never performed in front of me. When my dog had radiographs performed, I was never able to physically view them with the Dr so I could see in detail what they were visualizing. Clients: the walls are thin. I can hear my pup struggling in back and talking about how breedist he is. Also with the Dr and instead of giving him a break the Dr keeps pushing further force on him "just to get it done". No wonder my dog is so scared of this place. I rather pay several visits done slowly than scare him to push through it all. I don't know if Springbrook has ever heard of Fear Free, but I HIGHLY sugest they look into. I called to talk to the manager, Bensy and she never called me back after 2 weeks. Overall, Springbrook I paid you so much money and you failed me, my animals trust and fear and wasted my time.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone knows the importance of having vet staff that understand how to properly interact with animals. Unfortunately some members of this staff do not. Our first visit with our new german shepherd puppy went fine. The dr was super great and they handled our puppy fine enough that we signed up for a paws plan, but every visit after that was a nightmare. Our second visit started with a male tech suddenly yelling "boo" at our puppy to the point where he was visibly startled and the tech said "oh i scared him" duh you idiot read the room. This immediately made me angry because what type of animal professional would do that?? Especially to a breed that most people are scared of?? I did not want my puppy to start hating the vet after that second visit and told the doctor and another woman there that I never wanted that tech again and explained what he did. They said that they would talk to him about his behavior... Well guess what our next appointment we had that same tech I requested to never have again and this time my puppy was a little older and remembered him and was TERRIFIED barking and backing away from him. Great just what I wanted. After that appointment I decided to switch vets because clearly the tech staff are not well informed and communication is lacking within the team. I tried calling to cancel my paws plan but was never able to get through to someone for help and eventually my account went into collections and I paid the remainder. Now that I am looking for a new vet my puppy's records are messed up and say he is overdue for shots but I have receipts that say I paid for them. Unfortunately this doesn't pass when switching vets or trying to board. Overall the doctor is fine, but the techs and other staff need to be reevaluated. I highly recommend you steer clear of this vet office if you value your dog's training, proper medical records and staff that respect you.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our 112 pound Rottweiler in therefore, nails to be trimmed and her shots. The staff was absolutely amazing!!!!! The prices more than fair, And we have had our other dogs, there a husky and Pomeranian for grooming and Lori and her team are phenomenal. When I noticed my little girl limping, I took her to the clinic and was fortunate to see Dr. Matthew Timmons. After just one quick look, he immediately knew what was wrong, and after getting the X-ray, his diagnosis was confirmed. Experiencia negativa: Terrible!!! My daughter was sick and had to be picked up from school so we missed our appointment. I called to reschedule once we had her settled (same day), and was told I had to pay a fee. While I understand I missed the appointment, they did not care nor empathize about my daughter, and receptionist sounded like she read a script instead of trying to help. I was told it was up to the Dr if he would waive the “fee” that I didn’t agree to. I waited on the phone for over 10 minutes to have Matthew Timmons, DVM decide he didn’t care that I had brought my dog there for 3 years, he wanted $30. He didn’t care about daughter, nor my family, including my dog he was treating. I asked if they were willing to lose a customer and they responded “this is our policy “. If that’s how they act about my daughter, why would I trust they with my dog’s well being?

Experiencia negativa: Communicated going to be late for appointment, was told can’t be seen with both dogs. Both appointments were finished before second appointment time was to start. When discussed with hospital manager she was rude and front desk staff didn’t want to get involved. Experiencia negativa: 1. Very pricey. $317 for third vaccination. 2. Wrong Prescription. They charged three tablets(usually a single tablet) without any explanation. The tablet is for 17-33lb, but my puppy is only 13lb. The Vet said weight isn’t matter. 3. I visited three times so far, everytime I visited here, receptionists are very rude. Not pleasant experiences at all. Never going back again.

Experiencia negativa: Our recent visit to SACC was extremely disappointing. We encountered unprofessional staff, and the manager, Betsy, was particularly rude. We simply inquired about the frequent price increases for their services, which seemed to lack any rationale. In response, Betsy became furious and even refused to serve us in the future. This wasn’t our first negative experience. Previously, they issued us the wrong rabies tag for our pet. When we asked for the correct tag, they admitted they didn’t have it. Unbelievable! If you want an example of poor customer service, just observe Betsy’s behavior. It’s a clear case of how not to treat customers. By the way, we’ve been loyal customers for over 10 years!

Experiencia negativa: I never write negative public reviews, but I am beyond frustrated and feel it necessary to warn others. I was quoted a price for treatment which I approved. The quote was $200. I even asked as a follow up if that was correct, and the doctor confirmed it was. I authorized the injection and treatment was provided. After the fact the total cost was over double. The doctor made me aware (again after treatment was provided) that she misquoted and it was $375. At checkout they then told me it was $450. I tried to address this directly with the clinic. They offered a partial credit of $75 towards future services, which nowhere covered the misquote. The front reception at checkout was rude, rolled her eyes and offered no assistance. I asked to speak to a manager. The office manager did not care to fully understand the situation. She only wanted to hear the clinics side and not the customers. The whole situation did not sit well with me. I wrote into to them privately to address again and the response was the same. Zero effort to solve their customers concern or understand the full issue. I was requested to call Betsy the Hospital Manager to discuss further if I still had concerns. I called today and was told she was in, but when checking with her she was not available to speak with me and would call me next week. Again, horrible customer service and zero concern for rectifying an error on their end. Bad business practice to ask a customer to wait 48+ hours to get back to you, knowing there is an ongoing issue. I am reasonable, would understand calling me later today etc. but this feels like she is simply pushing me off and doesn’t want deal with me. I will now escalate to ownership, BBB and contest the charges. I will also no longer bring my pet here for services. It is apparent they have the wrong people managing customer relations and they don’t care to provide adequate support. This is gaslighting at its finest. Blame the customer and take zero accountability. Any company that can justify misquoting by over 50% and not doing the right thing, will never have my business again. Update 12-17-2024 Betsy, again you are not listening to your customer and your responses to me continues to be the same (copy paste). There is not any attempt to hear the actual concern with an attempt to resolve the issue. Couple points that you attempted to address that are not true. 1: Dr. Sprang verbally quoted me $200 ( I had a witness in the room who can also attest to the facts and sequence of events). I authorized treatment at $200. AFTER treatment was given, Dr. Sprang returned to the room and advised she misquoted me and it was actually $375. At checkout I was then advised that the cost was actually $450. I tried to explain this to 3 people, including you. You didn’t want to hear it. The resolution offered was not adequate. I tried to reach out privately and you keep copy and pasting the same response. 2: When I called Saturday I was told point blank you were busy and would call me the following week. It was never stated that you would try to call me by end of day. So this fact is simply not true. 3: I did get your email and you are correct, I have not responded. I have escalated my issue with ownership to attempt to resolve and log a formal complaint. I did not feel as if I was being heard and the approach being taken was to blame the customer.

Experiencia fantástica: My vet tech was very compassionate and caring. My dog is very people skiddish and she was so kind and understanding. Our MD explained everything and even at checkout the associate assured I understood the medication. We have a closer vet but we have been going to Springbrook Naperville for over 10 yrs because of the care we receive. Dr Sprang and Dr Timmons have been exceptional. Dr Crossan is new to me and she was fantastic! Appreciate your commitment to my fur baby and to the well being of all pets you treat daily! Our visit was on 11/19 so I want to make sure our vet tech is recognized as she was very patient with Sonny and his reactiveness.
