Experiencia fantástica: New kitty from a farm the vet took such good care of my kitty a very though check and was great at explaining everything. I will take my other 2 kitties here as well from now on. Great place everyone was very kind.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service!!!!! As a first time cat owner, I had a lot of concerns and questions, especially after she started having complications after her spay and vaccinations and was met with nothing but an attitude and was treated like I was stupid for asking questions as a new owner!!! Would not recommend this place at all!!!

Experiencia negativa: I understand cats can soil themselves following a procedure but to hand him back soaked in his own pee with some paper towels thrown in there is ridiculous. He didnt soil himself on the way home, his carrier already smelled terrible but we thought maybe it was just a little bit and it looked like someone had taken care of the mess. We got home and NOPE entire underside was wet. Anyone coming here for a spay/neuter make sure to be extra careful, they won't go any mile beyond basic service and leave your babies soaking in their own filth. If you care about your pet take them to a smaller vet you already know won't do this. I'm absolutely taken aback that this happened.

Experiencia negativa: I’m really disappointed with my experience at Paws For A Cause Vet Care. I took my golden retriever in for neutering, and unfortunately he developed an infection afterward that required an emergency vet visit. It was a stressful and scary situation for us. What made it worse was not being able to reach anyone from the clinic despite calling multiple times. When you trust a place with your pet’s care, you expect proper follow up and communication. Sadly, that wasn’t my experience.

Experiencia negativa: I attempted to contact this clinic approximately ten times in one day and was unable to reach anyone by phone. I later sent an email and received a response stating they receive over 500 calls per day and that I would be placed on a callback list. That was two weeks ago, and I never received a return call. I then contacted another clinic in the same town, and they answered immediately. They recommended scheduling online, which was quick and convenient. I was able to secure a Saturday appointment that same week, and their pricing was more competitive as well. I’m sure this clinic provides adequate care; however, my experience with their customer service was disappointing. As a result, I chose to take my business elsewhere and will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always had a pleasant experience here with both of my pups, whether it be for spay and neutering, or for a checkup. They are drastically cheaper than any other vet in the area, which is a blessing, because surrounding vets are not nearly as affordable. I have been very pleased with the care my dogs have received from them.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog was spayed here. Getting ahold of them was not hard especially first thing in the morning. They call back within a few hours - a day if you do need to get put on hold. They clearly are busy because everyone wants a better price for vet care. Everyone drops their dogs off and gets their dog at the same time so expect there to be a little wait but I only waited 15-30 mins. They offer add on treatments that you can check off when admitting your pet and they note that it’s an extra cost. The price here is more than half off what other vets cost even with IV and chip. My dog healed perfectly, she had no issues after the surgery either. They use absorbable stitches so no return trip is needed. The dropping off and picking up of the dogs is a little odd since there were several dogs in the waiting area that clearly are not friendly with other dogs, but overall the price was what drove me to choose them and the good experience will keep me coming back if I get more pets.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at this place Bella my Chihuahua went in for a spay yesterday and she's peacefully resting at home I rescued Bella not too long ago from someone that wasn't taking care of her they called me and let me know she was doing fine after surgery and let me know she had a skin infection and that they were gonna give her a shot of antibiotics I will bring her back here in 10 days I can't thank everybody enough for taking good care of Bella plus the price here was unbeatable and worth the one in a half hour drive :)

Experiencia fantástica: My furbaby esko was sick, with what I was told anemia and begged (6) hospital (gofund.me no help) to help me noone would without upfront $2500 or more, then I called paws and without hesitation they made an appointment for him and they were so kind and comforting but unfortunately esko didn't make as he had end stage kidney failure and passed today. But at least here they were willing to give him a fighting chance and I want to thank them with all my heart for showing us compassion. My best friend my heart broken. And I will do everything I can to help support paws for the rest of my life. Thank you guys .

Experiencia negativa: I came here because they advertise themselves as an animal-first nonprofit organization. However, I want to make others aware that they do not provide written prescriptions that can be filled elsewhere at a lower cost. Even though the same medications are available through other pharmacies for less, they require you to purchase the medication directly from them. After paying for an exam and receiving a diagnosis, I believed I was entitled to a written prescription, but this request was denied, leaving me with no option but to buy the medication from their office.

Experiencia fantástica: Paws for a cause took care of my baby, he needed a mast cell tumor removed and they were beyond helpful and caring. The surgeon was so kind and detailed, even the tech who discharged him Olivia, was amazing. I was tearing up and she was so calm and explained everything. What they do is truly a blessing. Such amazing teams here. Olivia even gave my Cooper a smiley face wrap.

They took baby sox our siames kitten for his procedure. They gave me a time to pick him up..this place knows what petcare means...I miss him already never had a boy kitten and he is very ❤️ loving..can't wait to pick him up and hear the aftercare

Experiencia negativa: It is impossible to ever reach them. They start by putting you on hold for an hour, you have the option to leave a voicemail, they don’t call back until days later and they leave a voicemail to call them back just to repeat the cycle. It’s curious how in their leave a voicemail instructions they go out of their way to say they won’t accept rude messages. It proves to show they got those more than they want to admit but it is all due thanks to their costumer service.

Experiencia positiva: The price are all alacart for you pet . My cat seven mnts old I wanted her to experience less pain so I did add ons for her. The place is a great price every one was friendly and the only thing I hate was no real organized of line formation standing to the side, trying to find a flow of line waiting hours and people come in the front door being seen right away was very irritating to me because you wouldn’t go to a grocery store and bought mine. They really need to work on organization maybe like a delicatessen at the jewel would be the answer with numbers that you take and more flow of a line a direct line same happen for pick up, but I got there early and was able to attend a seat and got out better other than that the place was nice friendly clean and the price is unbeatable. Experiencia negativa: Not happy at all brought 3 kittens yesterday to get neutered/ and spayed. During briefing someone asked about their litter type and they never mentioned anything about getting pellet letter or something else because clumping litter could get stuck Well after I got home we found 1 of the males to have an open sac, spent 160+ at an over night clinic and they told me nothing could be done until tomorrow and to bring him back to this place. Well did that brought him back and now I’m paying 200 bucks because they had to operate on him and clean the litter and NOW today during briefing they mention changing the litter so it doesn’t get stuck on them So after spending 424.01 then having to spend 169 at a clinic that only looked at him and said to bring him back now I had to pay an additional 200 bucks So after spending 800 bucks (793+) will rather take them somewhere else and not come back here. Oh and I forgot to mentioned that the ecollar they gave me the ER actually gave me gauze because their heads were to small and needed to be tied around their head which other vets have done. Poor performance if only money grew on trees oh wait another edit I forgot to mentioned the 150 dollar deposit so make that 943.01…. Lovely feel like this could’ve been avoided but hey I’m not a vet‍♂️

This definitely helps with the pet population as it's affordable. They do ferals too, which i have few outside. They went over after care with us upon our pets discharge

Experiencia positiva: Spay Illinois was great but Paws For A Cause is different, one strong suggestion I would make is that it needs to allow owners into the treatment room with their pets should they so wish. Not allowing owners in the room can stress out pets unnecessarily, Spay Illinois always allowed owners in unless it was for a quick shot.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my cat here for spay surgery. Post op went well for her. They did great with the incision and her wound healed smoothly. Prices are fair compared to other vets. I booked her while there’s a promotion going on so be on a look out for those discounts if you plan to take your pet here.

Experiencia negativa: This place used to be really good and they used to take EBT cards that would reduce the cost. But ever since they changed locations which probably means they changed owners it’s been paws for money not paws for a cause. I went in there with my cat and I had to pay $249 for basically nothing, she didn’t even get her vaccines. They did a xray on my cat to see if she was pregnant. And then they called me back and I was looking to vaccinate her and they told me that she should get spayed first just in case she’s pregnant. Didn’t I pay $150 for an xray just for them to tell me she might be pregnant? There’s other shelters that actually care about animals and their wellbeing and this is not one of them.

Experiencia negativa: If I could put -100 stars I would they don’t deserve my one star. Low income people beware this isn’t a low income people friendly place. I took my 2 cats for simple vaccines and I paid $300 for both my cats, for 4 vaccines. Their prices are not cheap at all, they used to take the EBT card. One of my cats has always had discharge in his eyes and they’ve been giving him medicine that doesn’t work, and when I went last time they gave me the same medicine that the doctors gave me for my eyes and that didn’t work either. At this point I’m thinking they’re scammers. At this point they’re not there for a cause they’re there for the money.

Experiencia negativa: My cat is dead he was 8. He would be alive if I never went there. Biggest mistake I every mad. My Mateo had stomatitis.. he was receiving depo medrol shots every 8 weeks .. I did this for about 18 months. My very closed the business due to illness.. very sad. I went to paws based on recommendations online Facebook post from community members.. thet did blood work and chest x-ray and ear culture swab.. he was 7lbs.. he is normally 2 lbs+ heavier.. I couldn't the shot they said at paws for a cause it can cause Cushings disease.. so they extracted 14 teeth. And gave me a lot of medicine syringes controlled substance which he never had before and pain meds. And apill to crush. He was dead 4 days after surgery. I been thinking about this a few days. I feel the surgery and medicine caused his death. He needed a shot to get stronger eat gain weight. Dr Jake has not called me to try explain to me how this happened. .nothing. The manager is very nice lady and dud help me. With reduced bill since on SS. I feel guilty my cat would be alive if I never went to this place. I'm completely devastated... I let my Mateo down. Paws for a cause let my cat down.. they are professionals they should have told me let's get him.better gain weight then surgery ..but no depo medrol shot. I feel so sick from going thru this.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my cat in to be neutered and get his rabies shot during a discount deal they were doing for the month with an appointment and deposit. The ample amount of parking was really nice right off the bat. I was slightly confused when I entered the lobby area on where to go wait in line since it was very busy but asked others who were waiting where to go and then was quickly greeted by a staff member. Everyone I encountered was super nice and it helped ease my anxiety about dropping him off for the day because I could tell they cared and even with as busy as it was in there they did not let it have an affect on how they handled pets calmly and safely. I recieved a message letting me know he was doing great and a reminder for the pick up time which was nice knowing he was OK and would be good to go once I arrived. They thoroughly explained discharge instructions and included even more info in a packet which was super helpful. It's been 3 days and he's been doing great the whole time! I'm super grateful for the discount day, kind staff, and job well done for my cat. Thank you!!

She was diagnosed with Pyometra and all the vets we called where way out of our price range, so we had to decide if we should put her down or not, but I called them and they did the surgery and were able to get her in the next day. They went above and beyond for my girl. Even though she was over 100 pounds they still took her and took amazing care of her. I can’t thank them enough. Thank you so much for saving my baby.

Experiencia negativa: My wife took our cat to Paws For A Cause Vet Care a few times. In August, we paid about $200 for vaccines and blood work. Last week we paid $75 for another vaccine plus a $50 non-refundable deposit for a neutering appointment. Everything was confirmed, and they told us we were good to go. When we dropped our cat off for surgery, the staff suddenly said our cat is “exotic,” and now we’d need more blood work, extra fees, and to reschedule. This made no sense — they had already done blood work twice, and we had even asked them before if our cat was exotic. Each time they said no problem. We later checked with another well-known vet in Naperville who told us that no extra blood work is needed for neutering. After spending hundreds of dollars and being told wrong information, we feel misled and will not return to this clinic. P.S. Just to be clear - money is not a problem if service is good, the problem is waisted time and unprofessionalism!

The staff here is incredibly kind, generous, and truly dedicated to helping animals—not just making money. They took the time to really listen to all of my concerns about my cat, Glock, and treated him with so much compassion and respect. What really stood out to me is how understanding they were of my situation. They worked with me on pricing and did everything they could to make sure Glock got the care he needed without adding more stress. It’s rare to find a vet that puts the well-being of your animal first and keeps your budget in mind, but that’s exactly what they do here. After some really bad experiences with other vets in the past, I had lost a lot of trust in the profession—but this clinic truly restored my faith. If you’re looking for a place that treats your pet like family and treats you like a human being, this is the one. I’m beyond grateful.

I gave 5 stars because they over exceeded my expectations of a clinic. 1, pricing is WAY more affordable than most clinics. 2, staff was really great with my frenchy 3, she had a skin issue. The vet did two slides and found bacteria the same day and was given antibiotics. After day 2 of antibiotics she is feeling MUCH better. I was very impressed. I would refer all friends with fur pals here :)

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 14 year old family chiweenie last tuesday. The two ladies at the front desk were very kind when i asked for a water bowl (that he didn’t even end up drinking) and cleaned up his mess i was very appreciative of them. Dr. Brian and the vet tech were very kindhearted and helpful when speaking to me about my dogs health conditions. The girl with the short hair and piercings also helped me with my questions, made me feel very welcome, and put my mind at ease after my appointment after learning about the possible outcomes of my pet’s wellbeing.

Experiencia positiva: My experience with PFAC was alright. At the end of the day my dog came out great and they did provide great post care information and were nice. However, when it came for pick it I had to sit there through the dog and cat pick up because they wouldn’t bring out my dog. I was trying to be patient but as I saw they brought out half the cats I started getting concerned and asked for my dog. They told me somehow they had lost the paperwork and completely missed her. I’m sorry but how on earth do you miss the only dog in the back barking? Do you guys not bother to ask hmm let me ask the waiting room if everyone has gotten their dog before we release the cats given she was the only one left. Not only that I could tell the receptionist kept looking our way and I know they knew we were still waiting on our dog how do you not say anything. To me that was so unprofessional and felt very bad for my dog. For that I would say I had an ok experience, so if you go and don’t hear your name being called after quite some time I’d definitely ask because they aren’t even going to care to check if the owners have arrived!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently brought our dog im to be neutered. I was there at 6:45 a.m. as requested. There were about 10 people ahead of me. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. We picked our dog up same day, 3 p.m . Once again outstanding service! Between the very fair prices and excellent service this place is more than 5 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: Great, low cost veterinary clinic for vaccines! I brought my cat in today for an updated rabies and her FVRCP vaccine, and was very pleased with the service. Very sweet front desk staff, and the appointment was fast and efficiant. Only downside is I was unable to go back with my pet for comfort. Overall, I recommend. My cat is happy and showing no signs yet of any side effects.

We drove an hour a half to get here because the vets by us wanted $700-800 for a spay which we would’ve had to finance. Here it was $200 for everything that she needed including tax and medicines. They were very organized and the check in and checkout process was great. Very clean and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Her incision looks great 3 days later even with some minimal jumping and kitten antics happening. The sedative and pain medicine seems to have helped her and no side effects. I was so nervous that they wouldn't let me bring him in but they were actually very kind and helpful!

The clinic had a nice modern look and feel and was very clean. I recommend filling out all required paperwork prior to arrival as they explained and the check in process was very smooth and efficient. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and caring to all the nervous furry friends and owners. I appreciated the follow up text that all went well and he was ready for pick up. The post-op instructions were very thorough and easy to understand. Same Day Surgery Centers should run this efficiently! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend Paws For a Cause Vet Care. Thank you all for what you do and providing affordable and high quality veterinary care!

Pressing 2 for a voice message does not work. How do I get you to approve a order for heart worm medicine? Your brand is far too expensive. The company will not wait on hold. Can you email them an approval? What is your shortest hold time? It’s 8:52 and I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes. I loved you guys for spaying…..but this hold time is ridiculous. Hire more people!

Now they must need the money now bc we have experienced them actively scam patients and do everything to sell unnecessary tests and services for something as a basic UT infection. Just a profit center now taken way too far. We used them for years but never again.

Experiencia fantástica: They offer low cost spay and neuter. I got my 80 lb Pitt mix spayed, chipped, and nails clipped. Drop off and pick up were seamless, they texted me when she was out of surgery. The only thing I didn't care for was how they clipped her nails, it looked like two were clipped too short.

Experiencia negativa: I had brought my dog here for a spay a few days ago, and I was referred to this organization by a friend who goes there for his pets and said that they are a low cost clinic, considering my veterinarian does sx for $1200.00. I thought ok, I'll try this low cost organization, and so I tried it. The end result, my pet picked up an infection from inside there during sx and in less than one day at home also started symptoms of dehydration, bloody diarrhea, wouldn't eat, vomiting, and stomach ulcer. I took my pet to their veterinarian and she took care of all this. The cost for my pet bill was 484.00. I would have to say this organization is not sterile enough, and for my pet that's not acceptable. I will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I took 2 of my dogs here to get spayed/neutered. Very clean place. That is the first thing i noticed. The whole team was very kind and knowledgeable as well. The discharge instructions were very clear as well. And to top it off, you can’t beat this price. I paid under $500 for both pets combined with some extra add ons I decided to get. But she came out and explained everything very well. She answered a lot of our questions along with everyone else’s. Would definitely recommend you get your cat neutered here.

They’re very kind and gentle with my pets and really take their time to speak with you during a visit. Their work helps make responsible pet ownership more accessible and keep families together. If you can donate to their organization, please do. They rely on public support to keep care costs as low as possible. One thing I will advise on is that they only schedule appointments by phone and often have a high call volume. Leave a message and keep your phone nearby - they will call back! While they do not schedule by email, they are quick to respond via email if you have any general questions. Keep doing the great work, PFAC team!

Experiencia negativa: I was looking for a low income cost vet to help with my Kodi. He had a fracture leg and I was extremely worried. They were kind to treat him and give him all the necessary treatment towards recovery. They said they would work with me. I was grateful for that. However, income is a barrier and I was doing the best I could. They called me told me Kodi and I was not complying which is not true. They came off as if they cared but really didn’t. Left us without continued care and no remorse or sympathy. If you really in need. Don’t go.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 1 year 4 month old shih-poo to get neutered and there truly isn't enough great things I can say. Every single employee that I can into contact with was absolutely wonderful!! They are so kind and pleasant. I was so impressed in how they handle intake the morning of the surgery it is flawless as well as pick up. My dog is healing nicely and has had no issues.

I was taking my animals into the city prior to finding Paws for a cause because im that particular about the care my fur friends recieve. Have recommended their services to friends. Thank you for taking good care of my Bela while in your care. Having to choose a clinic based on distance and reviews created a bit of anxiety for me. The staff was reassuring when i made her appointment. The day of surgery went smooth except for a small hour delay..i left my day open and was flexible with my time so no biggie. Bela healed super quick and was playing with her sisters within a few days.
