She is in all the time because of it and the staff is awesome and so caring. She is so good because they are perfect with her. While my youngest is the devil. Dog hates the vet but they try so hard with her. Very patient and understanding. I will always keep going here.

They got us in a few days after calling put her on meds and took a biopsy everything is on the up and up. She is doing better the results came back good news. We will return I have been using this vets office for over 15 years Dr. Canada has seen many of my animals over the years and the staff is always so great.

I've been going to Brookville Rd Animal Hospital for 3 or 4 years, since Dr Pagan joined the Brookville team when Crestview Animal Hospital closed. Honestly there was a point when I would have rated this clinic much higher, but recently the prices have sky rocketed and the customer service has, in my experience, decreased dramatically. Plus the office manager Gina has not called me back despite repeated messages; this is no way to run a successful business. And if I'm asking to talk to the office manager things are bad; first time it's been a needed step in the years I have been taking pets here. I do really like Dr Pagan, and have been taking my pets to him long before he joined this practice. Dr Pagan gets five stars. Dr Glick is also very good. The rest of the clinic certainly doesn't get a good review. All of the below comments are based on my personal experience. The technicians seem to have a very hard time listening to clients, and they don't seem aware of important details that have been explained to office staff. Plus they can't wait to take your pet away from you. I want them to do everything routine in front of me, as used to be done. That hardly seems unreasonable. I've had problems with the vet techs here repeatedly; very full of themselves and tend towards bully behavior of clients. Not to mention one very *rude* vet I took my dog to when my regular vet wasn't available; I'm scientifically educated and actually have professional background in Animal Health R&D; please don't condescend to me. Maybe try educating and collaborating on for size rather than ignoring and arguing with the client. Trying to get anything from the office has become an exercise in frustration. Even getting to talk to someone who will listen to what you are asking for and knows how to book an appointment has become a rarity. This has been a repeated issue in October and November of 2025. I am not sure why the dramatic change recently, but it's quite noticeable. And a couple of the (likely new) front desk employees are downright sulky, act like spoiled kids, don't listen to what you are asking for, and seem to have zero idea of how to do their job. It's an impossible situation for the client when the employees who act as gate keepers are incompetent to the point I suspect that they are intentionally obstructionist. Latest quote (and I waited 2 weeks for the quote and prompted the office multiple times to get it) for a 55 lb dog dental cleaning and 2-3 mass removals is a low of $1277.36 and a high of $1877.13. No extractions included in the quote, and the quote is very difficult to understand. In October, less than 2 months ago, I paid $913.86 for a dental cleaning for a 42 lb dog, two 3 rooted extractions, and one mass removal at this clinic. I have asked for an explanation in the discrepancy in quotes; apparently the office will get back to me, but based on waiting 2+ weeks for the original quote I am not optimistic. And have been ignored by the office manager for days. Also, they added services in the high estimate for histopathology; seems like you need to ask if a client wants this service first. Because of course, clients have the right to opt out. Also, this clinic generally does not have same day appointments available, and they just tell you to take your pet to the emergency vet. With as many vets as Brookville Rd has, I would think that same day appointments should be available. Most vet clinics offer this for their regular patients. Not this one, IME. I completely understand why so many companion animals unfortunately do not recieve needed vet care. Many owners are simply priced out of veterinary services, plus it's difficult to get needed appointments, and the client often has to deal with a lot of snooty attitude and unprofessional behavior at the vet clinic which discourages routine care. In my experience, all of these factors are increasingly prevalent at Brookville Rd Animal Hospital.

Experiencia negativa: I had to put my cat to sleep today and had the worst possible experience. We had an appointment so they new why we were coming. They put us in the loudest room at the front. I had to ask for a blanket so that she didn't have to lay on the stainless steel table. It too the tech 15 min to come in and she proceeded to grill me about why I was making my decision. The vet took another 15 min to show up and proceeded to grill me again with the same questions. Once my reasoning was considered satisfactory they took her from me to start an IV. I've never had a vet do this before. When she came back both of her front paws were bandaged from their IV attempts.. She spent some of her last moments scared, in pain and without her people. The vet didn't come in along with the tech when they returned from the IV insertion. So I was alone desperately trying to keep my terrified, sick, elderly cat on the table with an IV sticking out of her leg. I ended up calling out for help and at this point the vet came in and finally administered the medication. This is not the first pet that I've lost. This however was the most disrespectful and upsetting grieving experience I've ever had.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my boy Louis here for a second opinion for his GI issues as I was having communication issues with my other vet. I called and they got me an appointment the next day that worked with my schedule without an issue at all. I was in shock because my other vet was so difficult to get into. When I arrived, there was a large team of receptionists who were eager to help. The wait was very short. The vet tech was a great listener and very personable. When Dr. Meyer came in, I instantly knew I was in the hands of someone who wanted to get to the bottom of his situation (very different from his other vet that was convinced it was a diet issue). She was very knowledgeable of his past medical records and recommended a few different pathways of diagnostics. They were able to do the x-rays in house, same day that provided some clarity but not everything we needed. We were referred to MedVet for an abdominal ultrasound since we needed a rad tech to read it and the soonest they could get me in would be the next week when the rad tech came in. I won't go into it as I wrote another wonderful review for MedVet, but they were absolutely incredible, so they know their referrals well. I needed gabapentin to relax my boy for the ultrasound and they were able to prescribe it to him the same day I called and communicated that they got my request over, and could get it filled. After doing the ultrasound we found GI lymphoma and his situation was quickly worsening. Dr. Meyer talked me through the results and other treatments but ultimately agreed with me that we should make the pathway to putting him to sleep. I made the tough call to put him to sleep and communicated with a very personable and kind receptionist who talked me through all my options as I uncontrollably sobbed over the phone. At the end, I did have to take him to MedVet to be put to sleep at 2am because he quickly declined so I can not give an opinion on that process at this vet, but I am sure they would have been amazing and supportive. I informed them through voicemail that Louis had crossed the bridge and would need to cancel his appointment that day. They promptly emailed me back that they cancelled and were sorry for my loss. This is an amazing and knowledgeable team that truly cares for every patient that comes in through their doors. They don't pressure you to do anything you don't want to do and are not money hungry. Once my contract plan with Banfield ends, I will be transferring my cat Kiki to be in their care.

Very knowledgeable and caring answered all my questions. We will be going to see Dr Maple for all Miss Olives health care needs. She had a wellness check.

I have 2 pitbull mixes one has severe allergys and the other is a sweetheart UNTIL she goes to the vet and then she turns into Hannibal Lecter. She's always been this way with any vet so it's nothing about them specifically. They do such an amazing job with her! I trust them with both my girls and I'm not very trusting where my girls are concerned. We are blessed to have such caring and knowledgeable veterinarians. The entire staff here is great. Always helpful, kind, pleasant, and attentive. I highly recommend them.

They saved my sweet old boy w a bowel obstruction who had eaten all kinds of crazy stuff and have checked on him numerous times. Also have given me a good detailed plan moving forward to prevent this! Grateful we already take all of our pets there but I highly recommend 1000%

Got her all fixed up and bragged on how good she was. I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone was super sweet and you could tell they cared. I am truly grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: Came to Brookville after being recommended here by my HVAC repair man! I am very happy with my experience here for my cat compared to another animal hospital in Indy. All the staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and able to answer questions, or willing to find out answers to my questions if they didn’t know right off the bat. They were also able to schedule him for dental cleaning/extraction 1 day after his annual wellness checkup, very communicative the day of surgery, and most importantly, costs were reasonable. Today is POD#1, and Elbert is doing very well. Will continue bringing him here and highly recommend BRAH to anyone who is new to the area and wants a good, reliable vet like they had back home.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going here since 2016 and I've never had any problems! The veterinarians and vet tech are always so kind and gentle with my animal! They listen and give the best care! They are a bit pricey but its worth every penny for the care and support I get for my pets!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been bringing my cats here for the last few years and have always had a great experience, but back in December my fiance and I adopted a dog as well. She has been a little bit of a troublemaker since we got her, and we've had a few visits with her since. The staff here has been incredible, helpful, and compassionate. Recently our dog ingested a poisonous plant and became very ill. I called in a complete panic and everyone was still so nice and so patient with me, they were able to work with us to get our pup taken care of and she's doing a lot better already. Thanks so much to Dr. Glick and the entire Brookville Road Animal Hospital staff for saving our dog's life and being so kind to us when we needed it the most.

Experiencia positiva: I want to start out by saying that the hospital has been around since I was in high school I remember when they built the building. We have been going there for the last 6 maybe 7 years. Our doctor that we use is Dr. Glock. She is a very good veterinarian. There are other veterinarians there that are just as good. Now I will tell you I really do enjoy the doctors there. The downside, is there front end staff they have high turnover and it seems like a lot of problems. Matter of fact we have made an agreement the only way I will keep bringing my pets there is if I deal with Megan the office manager. If you're calling in I would suggest that you asked for Megan the office manager and let her make all your appointments and everything so you make sure that they do it right. I've had appointments made that we're actually never made and so forth by some of these people. The other downside is is there technician staff they have a fairly good turnover their. So that is the problem with the clinic. Anytime I have a question I don't let anybody have a doctor quick answer it and anytime I need something if it's just to have her call me back I go through Megan the office manager. There are two Megan's there so please know which one you're asking for.

The place is clean and bright. They have so many knowledgeable people here, there is someone for everything.

He did a great job doing a physical and had great bedside manner. As a crazy dog mom, I appreciated the extra time he took to make sure my concerns were address! But convenient location, staff has been very nice, they have an online web portal that shows information and I can email the staff through it. I am glad I chose them. Experiencia negativa: I had posted a review 3 years ago stating how much i loved this place. Now I will never return. Front desk staff are so unorganized and have no compassion. I took my 6 month old puppy in yesterday because she had contracted parvo. I was originally told she tested negative, which later turned into a positive. I then waited over 45 minutes in the exam room alone after they took my puppy back to start treatment. I sat there and no one told me anything so I finally poked my head out and asked if I was supposed to still be there. The employee told me she would check. 10 more minutes go by and I'm losing my mind so I left a note and went to my car. 2 minutes later they call me saying I have to sign a release waiver and to come back. I come back and they then tell me I have to pay a $700 deposit. I said I was not told about that, they respond saying they were going to go over it with me but I left. Uhh I waited an hour and no one helped me so.. whatever. Then they tell me I have to sign a release for the pup to stay overnight. I said that I never agreed to her staying overnight and I will not be signing the form!! They started arguing with me until a manager came out. Once I left they sent me an email with a receipt for my deposit, which wasn't attached. I responded saying it wasn't attached and again they argued with me saying it was my receipt but they sent it again. After checking, it was a receipt for a CAT for $20. Not even my animal, not the amount.. beyond frustrating. Now we get to the best part: my puppy didn't make it through the night. She was supposed to return this morning to continue treatment so I called to let them know. Not one single "I'm sorry." ZERO COMPASSION. I will never return to this location because of the front desk staff. I hope Dr Maple gets her own practice because she is their last hope.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best Animal Hospital in Indianapolis. My baby received the absolute best care with her dislocated leg. She has a long difficult road ahead of her and my heart truly hurts. However, the Staff from the front door all the way to the back for X-rays and the skillful hands that performed her surgery, they all care. Every patient is important because it’s your baby. We went over options and I truly felt this bad experience was made smoother by each Staff member from my very first phone call. I can’t say enough good about them and it’s worth the drive.

Experiencia negativa: We had brought my dog here for the 1st time in January. While there he had been breathing heavy & we mentioned that it didn’t sound right. The doctor listened & said he wasn’t concerned. We paid for the visit, ear cleaning and seizure medication. We get home and his breathing had not improved, I called & they told me to keep an eye on it. Fast fwd to the next morning around 5 am & he was worse. My husband didn’t want to take him to the ER & we both decided to wait until the vet opened because we felt more comfortable with it. He called right at 7am & they told us they couldn’t see him and to take him to the ER. We were already so upset and for some reason, it just made it worse. Took him to the ER where he passed. I figured since we called a few times about his condition they would call and see how he was, but didn’t get a call. Got a card a week or so after he died, it just sucks to feel like because he was new there that it didn’t matter. All around, after seeing so many good reviews I figured they would truly care about your pet and I know that is what we are all looking for. Just really upset about how he was pushed to the side/ that is what it felt like.

I called and told them what was going and they squeezed me in the same day. My dog required several visits over the span of 6ish months. They were always very kind and compassionate. Never pushy, they wanted to help us get her well. The price was reasonable. Staff is friendly. We will always go here.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had my pitbull go here from 2020-current because the service is excellent and the price is extremely competitive. I have a very dog-reactive rescue pitbull (whos generally good with the vet as long as he has treats and me) and they have been compassionate and excellent to him while also taking seriously his behavioral issues and my concern for him and other pets at the clinic. It was a big hiccup for me when they ceased approving prescriptions through Chewy pharmacy, but the pharmacy they use is priced comparatively. Hoss is 7 and has had routine check ups, bloodwork, and dental cleaning (no emergencies yet). They are very responsive and organized and professional. Having a reactive dog, I wish other owners showed more gratitude to the staff for how they handle dogs with behavioral issues but I've very happy with the service here.

Experiencia fantástica: My 8 cats have been coming here since I got them, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they have received. When my senior girl was diagnosed with cancer I was terrified, but Dr Carr was able to complete the surgery and my girl is living her best life. Dr Consoli has also been a lifesaver with my kitten! All the techs and support staff are always so helpful and friendly, they make me feel comfortable leaving my babies with them.

Experiencia negativa: We have taken our dog here since she became a member of our family in 2018. Unfortunately, after today we will not be returning. Previously, we have been driving 45 minutes to bring her here as they have seen our pup through both routine and emergency care. We have NEVER missed an appointment or been late - however, due to human error my husband was late (confused two different appointments and was 45 minutes late). Although we would have understood that they could not see her we were informed that we would incure a $65 fee simply to reschedule for another visit. This is just unreasonable for a first time tardy. We feel that this policy shows no grace to regular customers and that this undermines customer loyalty.

Experiencia negativa: These people just want your money. After tests and test, five trips, they have no answers no solutions. Just more test and more meds to treat the symptoms but not the problem. How long should this be expected? Just find a better vet!! Safe your pet the time and yourself the money.

Experiencia negativa: This place has gone way downhill over the years. They can't/won't figure out what's wrong with your animal yet refuse to put them down. But will be glad to keep you coming back and opening up your wallet. This place is the definition of quantity over quality.

Each time they have worked with my schedule, made arrangements and changes when needed. All of the staff are welcoming and helpful from the front door through checkout.

They don't reply to emails from their own website, and they refused emergency service to an injured and bleeding long-time family member without even a suggestion of where else to go because "all the doctors (were) busy." Not "'Sit and wait and we'll get your dog in there ASAP.' Just, "Oh well, I guess. Sorry about your luck.'" Apparently they don't want my money or feel like caring for my dog. If you and your pet love this place, by all means knock yourself out. You won't be fighting me for a spot in line. I sent them a message via Facebook politely, professionally explaining the situation and expressing my displeasure. *****THEIR RESPONSE***** "Hello, thank you for bringing to our attention that you sent messages through our website but did not receive a response. "I looked through all of our website messages as well as our emails including spam and deleted and did not see any messages from you. I have also reached out to our website managers to have them look to see if there have been any messages from you that did not get sent to us. "Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you ever have any issues in the future with us receiving or replying to your messages, please give us a call. "We do schedule by appointment and try to accommodate as many appointments per day as we can. Thank you!" *****MY REPLY***** "That's fine and all, as that issue definitely needs to be addressed. What I was more concerned about was being turned away after being such a long-term member of the Crestview family. "Never mind MY dog, is that how the staff is with every animal? "Oh, that dog looks injured and it's bleeding. Sorry, we're too busy right now. Bummer." "My dog WAS injured and WAS bleeding and we were refused service. I'm trying to be cool and diplomatic about this, but the staff there messed with me and my only companion since she was born 11 years ago. "Maintaining this positive, constructive attitude is pretty difficult given the circumstances. I really want to rip these folks a few new orifices and instruct them on what they can put in there." *****MY ADVICE***** Take your pet somewhere else. Anywhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my four-legged companion to Brookville Road Animal Hospital in order to establish him as a patient. I brought his records with me they found his vaccinations were up to date. Bottom line, they did what was needed. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Their exam was through and reasonably price.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my son in laws dog Daisy in for a check-up. She's about 12 years old, a Maltese, and very skittish. They were so good to her and gave us some pretty good news. She's in pretty good health except for her teeth. She has some skin tags that we were worried about, and the vet said not to worry about them. The vet wasn't out to make money, just to take care of the animals. We will always go there from now on.

Experiencia negativa: Have to give the facility a two star review after today. I had a 2:40pm appt that I checked in for at 2:33pm. Was told internet is down today. No problem. I then proceed to sit and wait. I watch 6 different dogs come in after me. They are all seen and some have even left before my dog even gets taken back; around 3:20pm. Due to the nature of her visit, I knew she wouldn’t need to be seen for long. 3:18pm she goes back and is returned to me at 3:20pm. I’m told computers are down again, but should be checked out soon. More dogs come in while I wait. More time passes and I’m literally one of two dog parents left. After 10 more minutes, someone behind the counter asks if “I’m just waiting to check out”. Yes…yes I am. Would’ve left three stars because I love this place, but the second delay after my dog was returned to me was just pointless. Leaving this review because everyone, and every business, has bad days. You still have to push on. Unfortunately, was let down one final time after I was told the dog didn’t need a specific service, but got charged because they “tried”. Then they reminded me the computers were down. Yes, I witnessed you tell this to 15 people while I waited. Can you please just get me out of here. I never leave reviews but had to!

Experiencia fantástica: My family started at Crestview Animal Hospital with Dr. Pagan with our Max (cat) that was extremely sick. Turns out he was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. Crestview Animal Hospital closed and all treatments were routed through to Brookville Animal Hospital with our same Dr. We have other furbabies now. Each and every time I’ve called to make an appointment, the staff is always so sweet and welcoming and fitting our babies in for an appointment very quickly. All the Dr.’s are always very caring & compassionate and explain everything in detail. Can’t say enough about Brookville Rd. Animal Hospital!! Love them❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love bringing our boy to Brookville Rd Animal Hospital. The care is wonderful, we love everyone we have met. This office was started in the 70s by one of the best farm/animal vets 4 generationsof my family has known and respected, Dr Canada. I am so happy to see this office is not only still thriving but has still kept the love and compassion for their furry patients. The price, of course, is extremely reasonable especially for the care and convince of being able to get your pets meds right there for a reasonable price as well. I would highly recommend to bring your fur babies sick or well to see these guys!

We had a horrendous experience at another vet the day before we attended BRAH for an appointment and you guys knocked it out of the park. Every single person made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions and the vet completely outdid herself with our grace. I would trust them over anywhere else and would give them 1,000 stars if I could ❤️

Experiencia positiva: Staff was friendly, explained things well, and made us feel welcomed. It was our newest fur babies first wellness check, so they explained a LOT of stuff. Price wise they are at the top end of the scale, however we think it will be worth it in the end.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been patients at Brookvilke since 2017 and every doctor, tech, front desk person we have talked to or interacted with has been amazing! They treat you like family and I feel the cost of services is better than some of the surrounding offices.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience here with multiple follow up visits (complimentary, covered in cost of surgery). Our vet was super sensitive to our concerns and trained me how to wrap my dog’s bandages so we didn’t have to keep bringing him in. She also welcomed follow up emails with pictures to check he was healing ok. Lots of staff and you can wait in the car and bring reactive dogs through a private entrance.

Experiencia negativa: Since our original vet moved to this facility, they have FAILED our fur babies! They sent my info to a unknown person who canceled our appointment! Had a sick dog and they said couldnt get her in for 8 days! She ended up passing less then 24 hrs! But 1 yr prior to that we had her spayed. They charged an extra $180 said she was in heat. Knowing 3 mo earlier when we were there and scheduled she was in heat! Fyi dogs only go in heat 2 maybe 3 times a year. Then our large dog we couldnt get him in and he passed 5 mo after our other dog. Other family members have also sought out different Vets cuz they were very unhappy with their services as well. I would NEVER recommend this veterinarian hospital to my worse friends! Be cautious with their billing, and send your info out to unknown people. And good luck if you need to get your pet in when they become sick!! Be prepared to say good bye to your fur babe!

They were able to get our dog in quickly, and answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. They don’t make you feel like you aren’t able to ask questions which I really appreciate. Dr. Maple takes the time to listen to us and comes up with a solution that works best for us. Highly recommend this practice!

Gave me tons of valuable information to help me better my dogs health and even ways to help fix some behaviors!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

All the staff we’ve encountered are so friendly towards me and my pup and never had issues getting an appointment.The doctors seem to take their time and don’t rush exams. Pricing is fair. Highly recommended if looking for a vet in the area.

Experiencia negativa: Since Dr Canada left his clinic, these people are definitely about the money, first, and not about the care given. Very rude and uncaring front end staff. I've taken my fur babies here for over 20 years...It seems their monetary marker is $500 per visit. It's a completely different animal care experience from only 5 years ago. I'm looking for a vet that care about my animals more than my wallet.

Experiencia negativa: I have never been more disappointed with a vet visit in my entire life, and I have had many. We took our 9-year-old 135 lb German shepherd in for a torn ACL consultation. The office staff was okay but not real welcoming in my opinion. The Dr. came in, examined his leg and told us he had blown his ACL and that surgery was the only option for him. This is a dog that before the ACL injury had pre-existing hip dysplasia, arthritis and significant muscle loss. The Dr. did not look at the x rays, history or degree of these issues that were sent to them by our regular vet, RED FLAG #1. We asked how this would affect the recovery from ACL surgery and was given a round about answer, not quoting him because I do not remember his exact words but basically that was all secondary to the injury, RED FLAG #2. He was more than willing to do the surgery that day. We took him home with us and sought a second opinion. We were advised not to do the surgery. He was not a good candidate for recovery, due to the degree of deterioration from the other issues we would be doing him more harm than good and if we did, the probability of him never walking again was very high, so high that if we did want to proceed with it they would not do it. They offered to help with pain management for him and advised us to take him home and love him for the time he had left. I thank God that there are still Vet who honestly have the best interest of the animals at heart over the desire for money in their pockets!

Experiencia negativa: I was very unsatisfied with the services that were provided. The customer service is not good. We took our pregnant dog to get and get an ultrasound to see how many puppies she had in her, they were not able to give an accurate number of puppies. We asked for an xray, that they stated would show the accurate number of puppies in which then they charged an extra $200. There was still not a clear view, and they still were not able to tell the count accurately, and still charged the full amount. They lack support with newborn puppies when one became sick. I made an appointment for the puppies and mom..and an emergency arised so we had to cancel the same day unfortunately. I then received a bill for $124 in the mail for a service that we never even received. They use to be great, but not so great anymore. Treated like just a other family and dog..no compassion or care.

They just removed a giant mass off of one of my pups, the surgery was extremely efficient and the price was by far the cheapest I got in the entire city. This was my first experience with this vet, the professionalism there is unmatched. They are very careful with my old man, especially since he is paralyzed. The staff always helps me bring him in and shows him and his brother all the love in the world. Ill be making this place my primary veterinarian.
