Experiencia negativa: Complete waste of my time. I adopted my dog from one of the fwacc locations and was given a deal for a complimentary initial visit. Because I live an hour out, I called to make sure I bring all I needed like records. The woman on the phone from this clinic was kind and told me I don't need to bring anything including records or proof of adoption. I assumed they maybe have connection with the shelter in a way, honestly I was a little confused. But I took her word and didn't bring anything. I show up and I'm told I need records and proof of adoption. I was ready to pay for anything my dog needed but not prepared for the initial visit. More mad at myself for trusting this clinic into not bringing anything.

I have been trying to get an appointment and I have texted twice, called and was put on hold for 15 minutes, called again and left a voicemail, it's been 3 weeks so I made an appointment at the Parc. Very inconsiderate and I will not be taking my pets there anymore.

Experiencia negativa: Update: Due to a mistake on THEIR END & without notification they are no longer continuing care for my pup. This is typical when accountability isn’t taken, still haven’t heard from the manager regarding said mistake & again no notification about cancelling care. If you choose this vet please be aware that in order to have the services they offer you must quietly accept the mistakes the office makes. As far as care for my pet goes the vet and assistants have been a pleasure. Keep track of your own records however!!! My dog was given 2 rabies vaccines when not needed, and they cannot keep up with appointments or the reasons why you have an appt that you may have scheduled 6 months prior. If you have a problem, the office has no answer or reason to give & the office manager Lisa started off pleasant enough but when faced with hard yet basic questions, could not answer for her staffs lack of due diligence and didn’t not keep the integrity of the office she manages by cutting me off, scoffing & eventually interrupting to say “have a good day” & hang up the phone leaving again no reason for why mishaps had happened.

Experiencia fantástica: Been taking my beautiful golden retriever here for 8+ years and have always revived the best service and value. Dr. Nelson is the most brilliant, efficient and compassionate veterinarian who truly cares for his customers and their babies.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave zero stars I would. The front desk is always a mess and they never know my animals, why we are there, and I always have to call and ask my questions multiple to get a response from the doctors. Half the time the doctors have zero idea why I’m calling. Most of the time I have to do the job of the front desk or tech because they NEVER COMMUNICATE! The front desk staff always make excuse for mistakes or blame each other and do not communicate with each other or the doctors about what is going on. I have been multiple times when I just hear the front desk staff complaining and talking about random stuff instead of helping. If it wasn’t for the location and price, I would NOT have started taking my pets there. The lack of communication leads to a lot of headaches and stress, so I would recommend anywhere else. The only good part is Dr. Rodgers, she is the best. I wish she would go somewhere else. The other doctors have no urgency with trying to diagnose/ help my animals, especially when it could be serious. Save yourself the headache, stress, & animals health by going somewhere else! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!

Experiencia fantástica: We took our newly adopted kitten, Tupac, in for a wellness check (thanks to a free coupon) and immediately knew we’d found the right vet. The staff was warm and welcoming from the first call to our check-in, and Dr. Rodgers was fantastic; she caught ear mites just as they were starting, saving us from a bigger problem. Everyone genuinely cared about him and was clearly rooting for his health. Honestly, every single person we interacted with was more excited to meet and greet Tupac than us, but that’s totally fine as it shows how much they love the animals trusted under their care. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they also offer (affordable) dog and cat boarding as well as services like nail trims (we trimmed the kitten nails; I strongly encourage paying someone else to do it), and even dedicate clinic floor space to orphan pets whom are available for adoption. The waiting area contained a few shelves with (legitimate) pet supplements along with literature on pet insurance and pet adoption, rather than rack after rack of expensive insert big-brand pet food here. I can appreciate that this clinic isn’t pushing products for Hill’s kickbacks. While not all vets are created equally, I can confirm this clinic is focused on your pet and their health. Aside from the fat orange cat working reception who in true feline form just could not be bothered, this place is the gold standard of vet care. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Today, we had a distressing experience with our baby Noah, who woke up from a nap displaying lethargy and seizure symptoms. I immediately took him to the nearest veterinary clinic. When I arrived, a nurse was in the hallway, and I alerted her to Noah's condition, saying he was seizing. She quickly took him for treatment, later informing me that his symptoms likely resulted from low blood sugar and that they were running tests. As it turned out, the diagnosis was indeed hypoglycemia. The care provided by the veterinary team was exceptional, demonstrating a genuine concern for Noah's well-being and offering clear communication and support to my husband and me. Their willingness to see him without an appointment underscored their commitment to animal care and recognition of pets as beloved family members. Thankfully, Noah is now happy and energetic again.

Experiencia negativa: I’m puzzled by the positive reviews this clinic has received, as my experience has been consistently disappointing. Phone calls routinely result in holds of 10+ minutes, and on two occasions when my dog needed care, they were unable to accommodate us despite claiming to be fully booked—yet the office never appears particularly busy. The scheduling has been equally frustrating; when I attempted to book a Wednesday 10 AM appointment with two weeks' notice, I was told the veterinarian doesn't arrive until noon on Wednesdays, which directly contradicts their posted business hours.

With an appointment set up ahead of time, we do not usually need to wait for a room or for anyone to speak with us as they are prompt and straightforward with their work. If there are any delays, they are also great at communicating the whys of their schedule and updating us by email too. We have been coming here for over two years now, and we do not plan to find anywhere else as long as they continue their hard work and dedication. Thank you to our vet and the employees! Our cat Gigi is always well taken care of! :)

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with the level of incompetence at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. After spending $100 on bloodwork for my dog, they never called to inform me of the results, which included elevated liver enzymes and red blood cells—clear indicators of a serious medical condition. I only learned this after a trip to the emergency room and paying for additional bloodwork. I scheduled an appointment to get my dog tested for the disease, drove an hour to the clinic, only to be told they weren’t doing the testing that day due to "staff miscommunication." When they finally tested him, I had to call for the results because they didn’t get back to me within the promised timeframe. Once diagnosed, they told me they’d order the medication and call me the next day. Of course, no call came. Two days later, I called them, and they said the medication was ready. After driving an hour again, I was told they didn’t actually have the medication. Frustrated, I asked for a written prescription so I could fill it elsewhere. I ordered the meds online with overnight shipping, but when the vet’s office finally responded to the pharmacy’s request, they didn’t even get the doctor’s signature on the authorization. The pharmacy was unable to fill the prescription. Even with all of these unfortunate circumstances, I never once received a call from the doctor to apologize or make things right. This lack of accountability further confirms my decision to find a new vet. This clinic used to be great 10 years ago, but now they are utterly incompetent. I will never return and advise others to avoid this place.

Experiencia fantástica: One of our dogs had an abscess or a cyst pop up overnight. The next day, it ruptured. The hospital that sees him for his arthritis treatments could not get him in same-day, but Town & Country worked him in within hours. Dr. Klawiter was awesome (as always) and our tech, Sierra, was fantastic, as well. They were so good to our uncomfortable, terrified boy. Pricing was on-point and didn't break the bank--kept us out of the ER. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I hd an appointment at 1:40pm for my dog. Arrived a few minutes before appointment. First impression no greeting. Was just asked the name of my dog. Got put in exam room six. Filled out paperwork and gave them my ID which is kinda weird because every vet I've been too they never asked me for my ID. I'm a very patient person and I waited in a room for 40 mins. No one came to check on us. A veterinary tech never came in and ask questions about my dog. Every Veterinary clinic I go to usually has a vet tech come in and ask questions about my dog before the actual Dr. comes in. I walk out of the exam room because it's been 40 minutes. I look around and the lobby is empty and so are all the exam rooms. I see 4 individuals sitting behind the reception desk sitting and talking. When I asked how long is it going to be for my dog to be seen everyone got up and left except one person. I think they forgot about me and my dog, so I decided to leave. I seen great reviews from my neighbor page about this place, but after my experience I will not be returning and giving them my business. I will not recommend this place anyone or anyone in my neighborhood.

Experiencia negativa: I tried to like this vet but with the prices continuing to rise (almost $100 just to walk in), and hours being reduced it’s been very hard to stay a loyal customer. On an average visit you might get 5 mins of face time with an actual vet, not vet tech. Most of the visit takes place with techs and they relay vet/doctor information to you after they take your pet to the back while you wait. It always feels like I’m rushed out as well. After 3-4 years, I finally went to CityVet Hulen and I wish I would’ve done it years ago or seen a review like this. If you have multiple pets and don’t ONLY go for general check ups, I would recommend another vet. This vet is clearly all about the $$$.

Experiencia negativa: Our pet was having issues breathing so we took him in for a check up. The vet seem not to care to much and gave us some meds for our dog and set us home. Even though she said that our dogs lung looked bad. I feel like that could had done much more. We took our precious baby back home and 3hr later he was gone. He died in our home it was 4:50pm so I called Town and County to see what I need to do. No one answered the multiple times I called instead they sent me a text and didn’t respond back until the follow day after 1pm. If you love your pet as much as I love mine. Don’t bring them here…

Experiencia fantástica: We adopted Scout from Town And Country Veterinary in 2022. Yesterday I had to take her in due to having a bacterial infection. They were nothing but communicative and kind to her once again and even let me keep her there overnight until a diagnosis was made. I fully trust them with my pets and you should too! Always a pleasant and worry free experience.

Experiencia fantástica: When I tell you this is hands down the best veterinary clinic I’ve taken my dogs to I mean it, absolutely adore this clinic! I’ve never dealt with anyone who works here that is short of amazing - from the front desk, vet techs, to the doctors - everyone is great! They have always treated my dogs like their own and have treated me with the utmost respect. I’ve been bringing my 3 dogs here for close to 4 years now, I’ve always been very lucky to have very healthy animals but with two of mine being older now there’s been more arise. Never once has anyone made it feel like I’m doing too much or asking too much. I had one go in for surgery at 13 and had never felt so at ease when it came to surgery. Then another got diagnosed with cancer and had surgery at 14, again a great experience (I have had bad experiences in the past with surgeries at other clinics). My cancer patient has been seen almost once a week since everything happened in April, the staff all treat her like absolute royalty when she is in, even with being sick she loves to go to the clinic. Thank you Town and Country for not only treating my dogs like family but for treating me like family as well!

Experiencia negativa: I am very unimpressed with this clinic. I have been bringing in my cat for months attempting to get a diagnosis. I understand the diagnostic process can be difficult, however there were countless unnecessary problems regarding mishandling of a specimen (with no prompt communication of the error), incompetence when reporting results (viral panel via respiratory swab results were reported to me as “no bacteria in his blood” - twice at that), and miscommunications within the office. I also barely ever spoke to a vet, just techs. This is fine for routine cases, but with my cat with 6-month long undiagnosed respiratory symptoms, I would have expected to speak to the vet. I don’t have trust in this clinic and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not to mention, there is a note in our file accusing us of stealing solar eclipse glasses after asking and being granted permission to have a pair. We were chatting with the techs after an appointment and playing with kittens, when my husband ASKED for a pair. The front desk happily let us have some. I was offended to find that accusation in my cat’s history, which further vets will look at and will reflect poorly on us.

They were very upfront with the cost of the examination and medication (which I really appreciate lol) and the staff was extremely kind and took great care of my baby :) I highly recommend this clinic!

Experiencia negativa: I recently had a urgent situation with my American Bully puppy, Weasel, and needed to seek veterinary care. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with Town and Country Vet. Weasel had swallowed a toy, causing a blockage in his digestive tract and a rapid decline in his health. When I called Town and Country Vet, I was surprised to learn that they required a deposit over the phone before bringing Weasel in. This policy felt unnecessary and off-putting, so I decided to seek care elsewhere. Fortunately, I found another vet who did not require a deposit and provided exceptional care for Weasel. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, Weasel is now back to his energetic self, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I would suggest that Town and Country Vet reconsider their deposit policy, particularly in emergency situations. Requiring a deposit upfront may deter potential customers who are already in distress and seeking immediate assistance for their beloved pets.

Experiencia negativa: We took my nephews dog, they were supposed to do bloodwork ($300 03/11/24) We waited for the results and called every day because they were taking so long, on 03/18 I have to take the dog to another vet because it looks like he was dying. He was put on steroids and he felt much better. We called town and county because we really needed the results and it turns out THE FORGOT to send out the blood it took them 7 days and daily complaints. Don’t take your dog here, they only care about money. They are refusing to reimburse the money. HOLT VETERINARY DALLAS are the best I paid $140 and after a couple hours dog was doing much better. Town and country more than $700 and never got the results and the almost killed my dog

Our family rabbit had a late afternoon scare with some neighborhood dogs & they stayed & helped after they were supposed to close. My son was so scared that he would not make it but they pulled him through!!! Even with the follow-ups, they are all so happy to see how he's progressing!! They care about their patients & you can tell! 10⭐️ They also informed us that our lady rabbit was actually a manly rabbit We had no idea!!!!

And likes to eat little bits of food people drop on the road I wish people wouldn't do that it's irritating. Can't catch him Everytime he does that. He's fast. He didn't like the visit this time but they didn't do anything to him lol thank y'all for the love and care y'all give. Will be coming back next time.

Experiencia negativa: They got us in right away, sent us to a room, and I haven’t seen someone since for an hour. There was no other dogs in the waiting room so I assume they aren’t THAT busy. In addition, I got a phone call from the front desk after waiting for 30 minutes and they said “I didn’t show up for my appointment.” After I let them know I was in a room, and have been waiting, another 30 minutes passed and still no one comes to my room. Just disappointed and dissatisfied in the service.

Experiencia negativa: Took my cat here in February of 2022 and am just now able to leave a review. Went in for a standard check up and was given nothing but positive information. After getting home, my cat started exhibiting signs of a UTI. Called the vet and brought my cat back in at noon the next day, where they informed me he had a severe bladder blockage, may need a catheter indefinitely, and they will need to keep him overnight for observation to possibly prep for surgery. They let me know they'll call and keep me updated. They also let me know that I needed to pay at least half of the estimated cost for them to keep him and prepare. After splitting $2700 over three payment methods and snotty tears, I left. They call around 7:30pm, and the tech starts off by letting me know that "The vet is so sorry. Apparently [my cat] was a bit angry when the vet was feeling him earlier today, and she was feeling his stomach pooch, not a blocked bladder. She is really sorry." Go and pick up my cat and spoke to vet tech. They apologize again, give me UTI meds, and tell me to keep an eye on him. They also kept $900 because they "did do tests and kept him for observation." So the doctor couldn't tell the difference between a cat's primordial pouch and a blocked bladder. The practice kept $900 of my money. Both my cat and I have been too traumatized to return to a vet, let alone this one to retrieve the rabies tag from last year. And never once did they apologize, despite three phone calls expressing my dissatisfaction. Be wary of this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: This clinic was beyond nice I took my rat in because she had a tumor and even from the first call I made they were incredibly nice and understanding.When I went for our appointment it sadly wasn't the news I wanted, they gave us many options of what we wanted to do and were very considerate of our budget. Sadly my baby was put to sleep but this clinic definitely made me feel at ease knowing my rat was taken care of with good hands.I am grateful that this clinic is near me and I forever trust them for future visits❤️

They have good package deals where you can choose what urn you want. They helped us load him off and were very respectful towards us. Definitely recommend this clinic.

I was hesitant after reading these yelp reviews but I also refused to go to Banfield after a friend's horror story of a puppy she had for a week :( I called ahead of time to find out if they could give my puppy some vaccines so she could go to doggy daycare. The lady on the phone was so helpful and patient with my millions of questions as this is my first dog ever. She was very upfront about the costs and packages that were cost effective as opposed to paying for individual vaccines. She was able to set me up with an appointment that same day even though I was prepared to wait a few days for an opening. Fast forward. I showed up and was welcomed with huge smiles. The lobby was super clean. I was immediately showed to a waiting room so I could fill out some paperwork without my pup being all over the place. The waiting rooms were also super clean :) While handing in the paperwork, some of the staff came out to meet her and gave her so many compliments. It made me feel good as a first time dog mom. This was my pup's real first time in public and dealing with people other than me. Each person gave me amazing advice and even some samples for my pup to try to make training a bit easier. I went back to the room to wait for our tech. We probably waited for 5 minutes or less. She was so nice and very attentive. She listened to our needs since my pup needed specific vaccines. I was super nervous. I myself hate going to the doctor but she made it so easy. They took my pup to the back to do her exam and then came back to verify what the doctor said she could have as far as vaccines. Again, she was swooped away to the back. I could hear the staff aweing over her. I was so happy my pup wasn't whining or scared. When she was brought back to me, I couldn't even tell that she had a bunch of vaccines. She took it like a champ. The doctor came and spoke to me briefly while my pup was getting her nails trimmed as a courtesy. He was very straight to the point and gave me some knowledge. Finally, I went to check out. The costs were a bit overwhelming but I was prepared from the initial phone conversation. They were kind enough to give me quotes for future procedures that I asked for. I got some additional appointments set up as well and we were done with our visit. I love that this place is 10 minutes from my house. It limits my pup getting car sick. Their hospitality is EVERYTHING! I almost want them to have a human clinic because I was so comfortable ;)

Experiencia negativa: PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! We came here for the k9 influenza vaccine. Because we were new, we had to do the full exam for each of our pets. We arrived 15 min early for our scheduled appointment. We were called back 5 min later took each of the dogs one by one. Another 5 min and the vet came in. Told us our dogs were overweight then asked us if we had any questions, I asked what their weight was but she had no recollection and also didn’t have our chart in hand. I’m assuming she didn’t go over any of the dogs herself and just glanced at the paperwork. We checked out and they didn’t process our pet insurance that took them longer to process. We left arrived home to our dog limping and blood all over our floor. I immediately looked at the dogs and saw his foot had been cut and his nails were trimmed. No one mentioned cutting our dog’s nails. They had a grooming appointment scheduled within the next few days we were aware they were long but we normally get them cut professionally to avoid injuries. Had she asked or informed us she was going to cut their nails we would have declined. I immediately called the vet, as anyone would’ve been in that situation, was put on hold for 8 min. I asked why they were cut in the first place and why weren’t we told/ informed all they had to say is that the assistant did them “complimentary” never apologized or reimbursed us for our service. Obviously we will not be coming back. I highly recommend taking your pets to a professional facility that has the proper training and experience. You can see the photos of his paw as well as our invoice which stated nothing about trimming nails.

Experiencia negativa: Extremely unhelpful. Took my cat here twice and they really didn’t do anything either time. The only thing the vet really did was weigh her and take her temperature. One positive was they lowered the price of the return visit and saw her quickly, but they still didn’t help her at all. They just told us she had a super rare birth defect, which is really not the case. There was also no option of X-ray or basic blood work.

I wish I would have found them sooner. They showed my Jack compassion and helped me with his transition to the rainbow bridge with love.

They didn’t but had received a msg from a near by neighbor who had her and helped me get back to my fur baby. They got our puppy hydrated and medicated and educated us on how to take care of him over the next couple of weeks at home. Their rates were very reasonable. Experiencia negativa: Well i normally dont leave reviews but in certain cases they need 1. Took my very sick dog therefor help ..... they just run blood work and x-rays and charged me $745.00. Which wouldn't have bothered me except they did absolutely nothing for my dog . Didn't even treat her for her Extremely high fever . Fyi couldnt even Diagnose pneumonia.also i live in the area and the first 5 peole ive told this to had a very similar story . ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY NOT THE ANIMAL AND IT SHOWS

They get us in a room pretty quickly, answer any questions or concerns I have and of course the dogs always get a little treat. They always have a sheet with all shots/procedures and pricing to go over with me(which I appreciate-other vets have tried to sneak stuff in or not be clear with pricing) Overall I am very happy with this vet and will be continuing to bring my precious dogs here.

Experiencia negativa: Please do not take your beloved pet to this place! They do not care about your pet, this place is only a business they only care to take your money!! This place should not be called a veterinary clinic but a slaughterhouse, they charged me nearly $400 just for my cat of 6 years to die hours later after them giving her penicillin, they did blood work and still could not tell me what was wrong with my cat, I’m not sure how they keep this clinic open for the public if they literally tell you we don’t know what’s wrong with your pet, they do not give you any explanations, I don’t think they even did the blood work or they just lied to me because I did not get any paperwork. But they are quick to charge you and you have to pay first then they give you back your pet. This place is very sorry and should be ashamed of them selves. My beloved pet sadly passed away after seeing them God only knows what they gave her that she passed hours later after their “medication” was given to her. Please don’t take your pet to this horrible place.

Experiencia positiva: They are okay. Been using this vet for almost two years but now I am looking elsewhere for my dog. The people are always nice, the prices are good, and they will do what they can for your pet. The reason I am now looking for a new vet is: 1. The communication here is not very good. They are not very collaborative as a practice and depending on who you talk to they will tell you different things. There have been several times where I felt like I was missing information and had to look things up after the fact on my own. 2. Sometimes I feel they are not thorough enough. But this also will vary depending on who you see that day. My dog has had some recurring health problems and I had to find out on my own after researching that there is preventative care to help with these health problems that was never discussed with me during our visits. 3. They are disorganized. There have been two instances where I was turned away when we had appointments. The first time I show up with my dog and they said they didn't have an appointment for us. And I told them I didn't even pick this day, this is the day I was told to come in at our last visit and they had even wrote it down for us the last time and I had the paper work with me and showed them. They apologized and rescheduled us. The second time it happened we showed up and they said there was no one there that day to do that type of testing so we had to come back when there was. 4. I didn't witness this myself but my husband said there was a time they were attempting to draw my dogs blood and they couldn't get it right and just kept stabbing her with the needle and eventually had to call in a different person to do it. He was very upset this happened. Despite these problems, we did have some very normal visits here where they treated my dog kindly and provided her care.

Experiencia negativa: Don't go here. Brought my cat in for an ear infection. $1000 and two months later, cat is still supposedly sick. Every time I go there the front staff and techs are different. They've gotten me mixed up with other clients. I never see the vet, just the techs. This place is more concerned with separating you from your money than doing anything helpful. Do yourself, and more importantly, your pets a favor and avoid!!

Vet tech came in super quick to get things going for us. Our vet tech was amazing. Super understanding and helpful. Answers all of our questions and concerns. Highly recommend.

She has been lethargic, emaciated, lacks an appetite, and has a bad URI. Thank the Lord Town & Country Vet Clinic was open late Friday night. I am so thankful for their informative, caring, attentive, upbeat (despite how late it was), and engaging staff!!! Freya started eating today after I administered an appetite stimulate prescribed by T&CVC. They did complete blood work, a breathing treatment, and helped me get her first dose of antibiotic and cough tabs in her. Everything they suggested has really been helpful and hopeful. I thought I was going to lose this baby, but Freya is a fighter, and T&CVC believed in her =). Did I mention they are affordable!!! Great prices compared to other vets. I highly recommend!!!

I was a local but have since moved to Haslet, I still drive him the 30min to see Dr. Nelson and his team for Finn’s appointments because of how great they are! I truly appreciate them and can’t thank them enough!

Experiencia negativa: They seem to always want to charge you for more than you were expecting or as I had told them we could only afford the cost of exam today and right off they came in with estimate for more procedures . We went through bout $3,000 00 with our healer/collie mix and just months later had to put him down and I'm really not pleased how they treated the whole situation. After all we've done at this clinic they don't seem to even try to give pet owners a way to afford taking proper care of their pets. I'll be searching for a new clinic after this visit.

Ive taken both my dogs here and one is very skittish and they were calm with him and took their time to earn his trust to do what they needed to do with him. (That's not easy to do with him). We just recently had to put our cat down and the level of care and love they showed my family and our cat was top rated. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. The prices and very competitive with other places but the care is top of the line.
