Experiencia negativa: Yesterday we took my senior cat to this vet for a checkup because she wasn’t in very good condition as far as we could tell. She would lay down a lot and occasionally would stand to get food and other things. All her life, she had been spunky and very independent and usually didn’t enjoy vet visits as a lot of cats and dogs don’t. When the vets were handling her, she had scratched one of the female vets. This prompted them to stop and cancel the appointment entirely. I would like to also point out the lack of protective gear that the vets were wearing. Usually when handling cats (especially a senior who is almost blind and deaf), you would wear scratch resistant gloves to avoid getting scratched or bit but instead that was not the case. Afterwards, my mother was told by the main veterinarian that had she bit the vet instead, they would need to euthanize her on the spot and take her to a lab to get her head chopped off and tested for rabies. Before I continue, none of what I’m saying is exaggerated. My cat ended up not being checked out that day. Earlier today, my parents took her to the vet that we usually go to in Rendon for a check up. They had no issues checking her out. Results came and the vets determined that her organs were failing, she couldn’t breath out of her nose at all, and her gums were dark gray. She peacefully passed away today on March 2, 2026 with good vets and my father, who found her as a stray when he was 20, now almost 50. She was an estimated 21 years when she passed. Had she been handled by good, professional, know-what-they’re-doing veterinarians who know what their job entails, she would have passed painfully and peacefully yesterday. The compassion between this vet clinic and the one in Rendon can not even be compared. Don’t be a veterinarian or anything in the medical field for that matter if you’re only in it for a paycheck and not for the care and wellbeing of your patients. You as a veterinarian should know that animals scratch and bite when they are stressed out or touched by strangers. As a 16 year old girl who wants to be a mixed practice veterinarian, I understand that a cat scratching me as an unknown person is NORMAL and not a dangerous threat that I am going to refuse a check up to. I understand that animals have human personalities and can get stressed and uncomfortable. I do not have a God-complex where I will expect any animal to behave and respond calmly when I am handling them. That is not how it works and as a veterinarian who has gotten all required education (hopefully), it is very sad that this concept is difficult to understand. I would also like to point out that dogs and cats are very much treated differently and this is factual. I have had cats and dogs my entire life and had a dog scratched, it would not have been an issue and the check up would go on as normal. One of my dogs hates the vet so much that she does bite, scratch and fights back as much as she can. A muzzle is put on her no matter how long it takes to get on and the appointment still goes on no matter how much she aggressively paws at the muzzle or fights the vets because that is some of the things veterinarians have to deal with. If you chicken out of an emergency check up because an almost blind and deaf senior cat scratched you, then it’s time to find a new career. I would like to show you my sweet cat who has been in my life since I was born. Fly high Puma. We will miss you so much.

Experiencia fantástica: There is no doubt in my mind that this is my new primary vet, my puppy has never been so excited to be in a veterinary office. The overall experience was amazing from the welcoming front desk staff and cleanliness of the facility to the price. Our vet tech, Mallory, was amazing! She was not afraid to get on the floor to engage with my dog, helped me take him outside when he was having anxious bowl movements, and built rapport making it easy for the vet to conduct her exam. Dr. Hall was our vet and she was also awesome! She explained things clearly and tailored my pups neutering and hip treatment plan to both my dogs needs and my family's needs. Could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely be using their other services, especially boarding!

Experiencia positiva: Visit went well. Received thorough but clear information. However, the appointment took far longer than I expected. It felt like I didn't see the Dr. until about 20 minutes after the tech took my cat's vitals, and another 20-30 minutes for the medication/test results. Still, I appreciate the complete summary I get for each visit and the quality of care for the price.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE Coming here had me truly thinking that my dog was special needs. I started being a patient at the vet and just like any doctor you don’t want to admit to yourself they go to school, get degrees and still are incapable. 2 years in it went from the first visit being so happy and informed to a change of staff every visit with a different doctor, which would been fine if they knew how to take notes some of the visits weren’t even documented. I ended up having to get them copy of my receipts FROM THEM to copy from past visits. I took my dog into the vet for the same exact issue 7 times. I put my trust to professionals that did worse than Google. I truly thought my dog was going to be stuck with leaking ears and bloody paws for her entire life and every time I would take her in I’d be charged $000+ for them to tell me that the last directions they (diff vet every time) gave were wrong. (Ie One would say she’s in pain from weight and I return at their suggest goal weight they tell me she’s too thin. I felt like such a horrible first time owner doing anything I could. Changing work, cutting life making sure to be there to care for her special needs with hip issues and skin problems. I was told to call if I have any questions You get the answer of “just come in. “ so they can suck more money out. thankfully, the city vet that opened on December 22 literally one visit they were able to tell me my dog had an ear infection for 2 years in a row. 7 visits I go in for my dog having extremely wet ears you could hear it. They charged me to look it and sent me home. “Allergies” My dog had an ear infection. my own ignorance. I kept telling myself to trust them. They know better. Follow their instructions for koda. bloody paws pictures of her eating her paw pads. I ask about a google suggestion that looks similar. I’m told no— don’t add anything. This is “allergies” Don’t self diagnose. They are professionals I say. she couldn’t go in the grass She been wearing shoes almost her entire life. 7 visits I say it’s getting worse. “Allergies” $$$ City Vet was able to say “hey based off of the seven visits over the same year we’re gonna give you a preventative ear infection antibiotic” healed immediately because “sometimes ear infections don’t test like normal ones and it’s better to do a preventative.” The Parc is neglectful not family oriented, money hungry and low standards. I blame my own ignorance because I’m young no kids. This is the first dog I’ve ever raised. I had trust in their hands. I try not to self diagnosed and rely on the professional, but I had no idea. The money mindset would be willing to let such an innocent being suffer visit after visit. I was taking care of what I thought was a handicap dog. The last two visits I found myself at such a loss just crying. Asking for them to just tell me how much money I’m needing because her quality of life is so low. My last straw was when I said very blatantly that I don’t feel as though you guys have been the professionals and somethings gotta give where I was suggested (on voice recording) by their staff to give my dog a a lethal dosage of otc medication in order to cope with the fact the the $100+ allergy meds they were selling me weren’t working. everything there wasn’t even notated once again. Upon my return of my dog, not doing well I was looked down upon and had to pull out the proof because once again nobody’s on the same page and they refused to hold themselves to the standard after I brought it to their attention. I don’t know what I would’ve done if the city vet hadn’t opened up. Countless nights, wasted tears and after one visit, I was told my dog has had an ear infection and yeast infection on her paws, causing her to eat her paws. Google search would’ve saved me if I would’ve self diagnosed instead of trusting in this quack establishment disguised as professional vets. my dog is running playing healthy, happy dog I’m so glad and I hope that this review saves at least one animal in the future. Experiencia fantástica: Our vet, Dr Nigliazzo, never hesitates to answer our many questions clearly and directly without ever making us feel rushed (although I'm sure that we're not his only client that day!). He always has thoughtful suggestions and we really appreciate how well he has cared for our dogs. Techs and other staff are SO friendly and helpful as are the many doctors we've seen over the years. Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience the last time we took our cat there . We took our two pets ( cat and dog ) for years and in the last year it has become a nightmare there . From the rude people working at the front desk to the vet technician and new vet who seen our cat . So unprofessional! We will never bring kat and scrambles back there and already have found a new vet for both .

Experiencia fantástica: Front desk staff were professional. Dr. Strohmeyer and the vet techs were very good with my cat and communicated well with me about what they needed to do. The only downside to this visit was the wait time, which was over 2 hours, but as my regular vet was closed and we didn’t have an appointment, that’s probably not a bad wait time. They treated my cat with care even though she was a little spicy. Overall a good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Always love our visits. Feels like each provider really cares and enjoys their time with our dogs, even when they're being big babies about the perfectly reasonable, caring treatment. When the veterinarian wasn't super well versed in a niche question they were honest about it and gave us great resources.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful, caring, detailed. The doctor was attentive, explained options well, and listened to my concerns. Staff was friendly. The care for details such as writing my pets name on a bag with a sticker was so sweet. Clean facilities. Payment was taken in the exam room which was nice, so we didn't have to wait up front again.

Experiencia negativa: wanted $13,000 to even try to treat my pet, wanted another 1000 to euthanize him, and wouldn't give him back so I could take him somewhere else... horrible experience, just terrible, do not recommend. they must have spent all their money on the fancy building and are wagering pets lives on paying it off.

Experiencia fantástica: We went in with an appointment. All staff extremely friendly from the receptionist to the technician and vet. Dr listened to all our concerns and gave great care to our dog. Greatly appreciated the willingness to meet the needs of our dog and take on his after surgery care when many other clinics turned us away. Very nice, newer building with glass rooms that allow you to see what's happening all around you. Very minimal fragrance for those with chemical sensitivities. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced.

Experiencia fantástica: Because my wife and I love our vet of 25 years, it’s difficult to imagine anyone else caring for our animals. I’m sure you already know where this is going. Last week, after our longtime vet left the country for a much-needed vacay, our orange tabby gal (Blossom) became very ill. Prior to our vet’s departure, she treated Blossom’s troubling ambulatory issues. All seemed to be going well—at least until Blossom developed some worrisome respiratory symptoms. PARC did a great job caring for our eldest super senior cat, Druscilla, who had an health scare during our vet’s last vacation in October 2024. Dr. Melanie Aschenberg did a fantastic job with Druscilla. She explained her treatment protocol and was very understanding. The vet tech was also wonderful with Dru, so we knew we had to contact PARC again. Just like the time prior, PARC staff were incredibly professional, accommodating, and understanding: from Alyssa (sp?) who accepted our intake call, to Cheryl (sp?) the vet tech, and to Dr. John Strohneyer, who was extremely professional, informative. He was really great with Blossom (who can be terribly skittish). Dr. Strohmeyer thoroughly evaluated Blossom and explained his diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan. He also informed us of available options so that we could make informed decisions. Once again, PARC provided our cat exceptional care. If you’re looking for great pet health care, I enthusiastically recommend PARC.

Experiencia fantástica: All employees at the facility were very professional, pleasant, and informative. There was a backup in the emergency room and the reception personnel were very good communicating the anticipated wait and offered more comfortable accommodations upstairs and water. The vet and the technician were also very professional, informative, and nice with our and our hurt pups needs. The overnight check in to see how Taz was doing was very nice. The concern and care exhibited by all your employees is commendable.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them less than one star I would. Took my dog in Saturday due to a possible abcess tooth and face swelling..I called first and they said no appointments but come in. I sat there with my fur baby for 3 1/2 hours before they finally said you should book an appointment. I ask if they could at least get an antibiotic and something for pain and then I could book appointment and they said no they couldn't do anything until Dr seen her. He could have popped in and seen in a few seconds what was going on. I understand they had emergency going on but they could have told me that when I called. They didn't care about my dog being in pain and trying to help..I will NEVER be back in there and I will be filing a complaint with the board. All the workers with nose rings and tattoos were too busy on their phones to even try to help or find a solution. I literally counted 4 workers and all were on their phones. Totally unacceptable when you go to have your pet took care of. This place is a joke. I would not recommend taking your pet here for anything. They don't care about your pets

After reviewing your visit, your total time in our hospital was approximately an hour and a half, and one of our Technicians provided updates on expected wait times throughout your stay. As an emergency hospital, patients are triaged as they arrive, and your pet was assessed as stable. During that time, our doctor and medical team were urgently caring for three critically ill patients whose needs required immediate attention. While this does not make waiting any easier, it is an important part of how emergency medicine works and ensures that the sickest patients receive lifesaving care as quickly as possible. Our team works extremely hard under challenging circumstances and remains committed to being kind, professional, and attentive to both pets and their people.

Regarding cell phone use, our staff relies on them to coordinate patient care, communicate about emergencies, and manage hospital flow. We understand how this can be perceived from the lobby and appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

They dropped the ball and my beloved Mini Poodle died on Dec .19th. as a result.. words cannot describe the pain my family and I have endured. I will forever remember my special moments with my little fur baby. If only yall would have read the results to the image that the specialist sent you, you could have saved my baby instead you treated her for something in which she had no symptoms.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve taken my furr babes to the Parc Hulen Hills and The Grand for 10-15 years-however long it has been open. Recently boarded at the Grand my Tibetan Terrier who was 2 months out from corneal graft and doing great. The staff encouraged the Grand as it would be less stressful and they assured me they could give his daily eye drops and assess eye and if he got into trouble contact Dr Nigliazo. We set up two 15 min twice a day one on one time and attention. I called to check on him and was told he was doing great and eye fine. When I picked up my babe he could not open his eye and lost this eye 4 days later The care that cost 800 dollars for 4 day stay with twice a day 15 min play times and not a soul noticed his eye was red and he could not open his eye. They called my vet (now the admin staff) and notified him. I was told he would call me next week. He left a message a week later on husband phone and we never heard from him again. The care here has severely declined.Took to another ER Vet and was given list of reputable ERs and the Parc is NOT in the list. This review written on behalf of my beloved dog Nick who lost an eye due to poor care at The Grand. We now have a new vet.

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely caring and compassionate. Found a stray who didn’t deserve to suffer any longer. Called another 24 hour vet and was told that if I walked in with the cat then I was assuming financial responsibility for it. Being that I have 3 cats and 3 dogs of my own that I keep up-to-date a very well cared for I unfortunately cannot add another. However this poor cat needed care. A neighbor came to scan to check for a chip and told me to reach out to PARC, I did and couldn’t be happier that they would take and care for the stray. In this particular situation they did what was best for the animal. It’s amazing to know there are still places out there where Samaritans can care for animals who are strays and not just turn an eye to a baby who is suffering. Thank you for not letting that sweet baby suffer. In her last 24hours we loved on her, kept her warm, offered her food and scratches. She felt love and safe and it showed because she went from fight or flight full of adrenaline to calm and relaxed but clearly not ok. Animals matter and we need to collectively do better. They are life long commitments and they deserve nothing less than the same love and loyalty they give so freely.

Experiencia fantástica: So thankful for the Parc and Dr. Strohmeyer. The entire team was amazing at taking care of my girl during labor. I wasn’t able to use them for her emergency c section but was advised at how important it was. She delivered 4 on her own and the 5th was breached and stuck and we had the C section. All puppies made it, are super healthy and she’s the best mom and she’s doing great. ❤️❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: The service was top notch from walking in to walking out. I truly felt my baby was in good hands. They explained everything that needed to be done with the breakdown for cost. We liked that the upstairs was easy for to work from since we both had meetings to do. I also want to say that the cost was affordable and less than what I thought it would be. I just am thankful for everyone and the level of care our baby received. Also the girl who check us in was super sweet and amazing. Also thank you for making us feel that Taco was the Mia important patient. Everything from the time I walked in till we walked out, your service is amazing. Experiencia negativa: I took my sick dog to this vet where we had been before and was pretty good. This time I was told there was a 2.5 hour wait. After that time they say maybe 4 or 5 hours more. I understand appointments and emergencies but when they say well maybe you should go somewhere else it says a lot about them. I spent almost all day waiting to see someone that cared about my dog and I never did. Thanks The Parc for doing more harm than good.

Experiencia negativa: Zero stars. My wife drove from Granbury at 9:00 tonight for our dog that wouldn’t leave her bed and suddenly couldn’t open her eyes (never happened before; highly unusual), and they couldn’t be seen because there was only one vet, apparently, and the other levels of triage that showed up while she waited over an hour were considered more important than ours. I called twice to get an explanation and was talked over and hung up on twice. Never again. Don’t call yourself a 24 hr vet.

Experiencia fantástica: Our cat injured her nail at some point, it looked horrible and took her here as the only vet open in the area on the weekend (they’re open 24/7). I was worried as all get out bc it looked so bad but when we arrived the Vet tech helped calm our worries and the doctor did much the same, fixed her up and said she should heal fine. Emergency visit by itself started us off at $150, but after the little procedure, nail trim and medication we left with just $220. While not dirt cheap it was fine for the emergency! We were thankful. As aside we did take our dog here a few years ago as well and they were much the same!

Experiencia fantástica: After doing some research on reddit and google, I found the Parc. Based off reading prior reviews, I knew it is a bit more expensive than other vets but was hoping that the service would make it worth it. It was. Initially I was a little annoyed because I arrived and checked in at 3:45pm for my 4pm appointment. At 4:20pm, I was still waiting and someone who had gotten there after me was able to be seen. I checked in with the receptionist and she apologized and immediately checked in with the vet tech and was able to get me into a room about 5 minutes later. My pet was seen by the vet tech around 4:30pm. I was still pretty annoyed at this point to be honest but the vet tech and Dr. Warner quickly won us over with their exceptional care. I have three areas of concern for my pet: fleas, weight, and two masses. I am from out of state so had a lot of questions about the area and what to know for my pet's safety. They answered all my questions thoroughly and did not make me feel rushed. This is probably why they were a bit behind but when it came time to see my pet, they treated me with kindness and compassion. It was definitely worth the extra wait & cost. I will be making the Parc my dog's new vet.

But today there was one young man who went above and beyond for one of my clients. My client had to put her pup down due to terminal illness. There are some little keepsake extras that are available for purchase after losing a fur baby. I explained to this young man about the financial difficulties that my client faces. He didn’t judge. But with tears in his eyes, he said “Don’t worry! I have a friend that can come help out.” He had someone ink the paws of the pup and stamped them onto cardstock so that my client would always have her baby by her side. Zack, you are one of a kind! Experiencia fantástica: The staff made us feel taken care of. Looked after our cat when he ate a toy he shouldn't have. Everyone was upfront with possible outcomes and costs right away which I appreciated. Luckily he didn't need surgery but I liked having all the information. They did great and my cat is doing much better now!

Experiencia negativa: We just picked up our injured dog from this facility, though he wasn’t injured when we dropped him off. We’ve used this facility for years and while we found the constant upsell annoying, we still used them because we thought our animals were safe there. Our dog was attacked by what they admitted was a known aggressive dog. The techs freely admit that this dog was known to attack others and said “it’s just part of the business”. They covered the medical bills that happened on their watch, acting like that was some gift. Gee, thanks a lot! They then invited us to come back if his large lacerations get infected. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here over the years but won’t be back. I highly recommend people not use this facility.

Louie was abused as a puppy, he is very skittish and will bite if scared and feels trapped. I appreciated the amount of time that was spent. Experiencia negativa: I have been a client of this clinic for over 20 years solely because of Dr. Nigliazzo - exceptional & incredibly knowledgeable. His consistent care & compassion is the reason I stayed, despite the clinic's evolving environment. The Parc is obviously a prestigious facility, equipped with top tier technology and full scale hospital housed within - impressive on paper. However, beyond this infrastructure & price tag ($$$), the human experience is embarrassing. Staff are disinterested at best - cold & transactional. I came in with my dog at 4 pm and was promised I would be seen within an hour. I was literally holding my dying dog for over 2 hours in the lobby asking if someone could help. I was sobbing and the staff upfront were indifferent. Finally they offered a private room (that had been open the entire time). Literally 3 hours later, a vet came to send my dog to the rainbow bridge. Unfortunately after 2 decades, we will find another vet for our next fur baby.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here are SO kind and patient. I have pretty severe anxiety and a lot of questions as a result and the vet was really good at thoroughly explaining each concern/cause/recommendation. I have a spicer cat when his boundaries are pushed and was worried about it going in but his stress was minimal (with a dose of gabapentin) and it was a smooth appointment. The cost is a little higher but worth it for the peace of mind and care.

Experiencia fantástica: It was easy to make my appointment on the phone (technically I was a walk in). They gave me a clear wait time and when I arrived I was greeted and knew what to do next. I appreciate that we had a room very quickly, since my dog is anxious and barks at people she doesn't know. Every person I spoke to was great at explaining what tests were being run and what our next steps were. They did a great job of keeping my dog comfortable. They kept my dog comfortable and helped us both from being too anxious. Having a room soon after we arrived made a big difference for us!

Experiencia fantástica: I needed to take my cat in for an ER visit because my personal vet couldn't get her in. There was not much wait time at all before being seen. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. Ann was very sweet and my cat (who is afraid of most people) was calm with her. Dr. Strohmeyer diagnosed what was going on with my girl and explained her meds and home care clearly. I love the fact that I could pay by bill in the exam room so I didn't have to take my fearful girl back into the waiting room after the visit. I thought the cost was very reasonable for an ER visit. I appreciate how quiet the exam rooms are, and being allowed to stay in the room with my pet. I have been here a couple of times before with other pet emergencies, and I would definitely recommend this to others who have either ER needs or any other services for their pets.

It's taken me a week to process my experience with Dr. Warner and Kelsy (Kelsi?) and their utmost attention my soon to be 18yr Biggy Smallz pup last week. They both reminded me what healthcare visits (and customer service in general) should always be: they genuinely expressed concern and care. They spent plenty of time chairside just chatting and empathizing, offering various options, transparency in fees, etc. A switch in medication -after careful examination with bloodwork - seems to make for nice improvement in treating Biggy's aging body. I have gone from thinking end-of-life for him to now being excited he has more energy and a little more swagger as if to say, "I'm back!" The truth is the front office operations, the boarding team, etc are all professional and caring. I've had similar experiences with all of them...they really make Biggy feel like a celebrity whether he knows it or not. I observed while waiting in lobby, they offer the same compassion and care to others as well, not just the pets, but the (sometimes anxious) owners. To all the vets and medical team there: thank you for reminding me (also a health care professional) how far listening, empathizing and spending quality time with your clients really goes. PARC is very lucky to have Dr. Warner, Kelsy...but the same really goes for front and back office operations, medical teams, etc. Thank you so much.

We think he was a catahoula/husky mix so "wild" ran through his DNA. A stray dog came into our yard and sweet Jax scaled our fence to get to the dog. Knowing Jax, he was just ready to play with his new friend. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car in a matter of minutes after getting over the fence. We rushed him to The Parc and they took him right back. Dr. Henderson assessed Jax and came in to talk with us. I was inconsolable. Completely devastated. Dr. Henderson was kind, caring, compassionate and honest about the severity of Jax's condition. He walked us through multiple scenarios and although I hate that money is even mentioned when you're dealing with your baby dogs life, he talked to us about that. We were able to weigh our options together and he gave us his honest opinions. I'm so grateful for that because we were in full blown crisis. He let us come to the back and give Jax a kiss and tell him that we loved him. Jax ended up being there for around 8 hours. Dr. Henderson called me every hour to update me on his condition. I truly feel like he cared deeply and knew how much we needed to hear how he was doing as often as possible. Unfortunately, Jax wasn't strong enough for the anesthesia but I believe Dr. Henderson did his absolute best to try and save him. We came back and I could tell how truly hard he had worked at saving our sweet boy. It was honestly the worst day of my life but having a vet like him made our experience as positive as it could be. Thank you for caring, thank you for showing compassion, and thank you for doing everything you could do to try and save him. It means more to us than we can ever express.
