The prices are reasonable compared to where I stay (long beach) their prices are ridiculous. The people are nice. Its straight to the point, drop your babies off, they call you when their done.

This place made my mother wait for two hours until the receptionist gave one crap about my mother Once it was closing time, just to turn her and my sick dog away. Very unprofessional like if they don’t know what they’re doing. They tell you to do one thing and when you do it and go back they Tell you to do another as if they only want to brush you away. 0 star if u could very frustrated with the way my mother and sick dog were treated.:(

Experiencia fantástica: By day 3 he was doing backflips. Great clinic! Kind workers and answered all my questions and concerns. Only paid for the appointment fee, and paid extra for his bloodwork. Workers gave me a package with instructions for his care and was pretty easy to follow. He recovered smoothly and he’s been chill ever since(still crazy a little but calmer and no more spaying on my fake tree). Only bad thing was the stinky smell from the indoor waiting area.

When I first made the appointment, it was a couple of months out, but I was called and asked if I could come in next day because they had a cancellation. So my experience was quick easy drop off quick easy pick up. My pup was well taken care of and the staff was friendly.

Experiencia negativa: ⭐️ 1 Star — The Worst Clinic Experience of My Life CAMP Clinic – Los Angeles is honestly one of the most unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating places I have ever been to. From the moment we walked in, things were already going downhill. We were the first ones there, early and prepared, but somehow that didn’t matter at all. They still managed to mess up our information, which caused even more delays and confusion. And then came the waiting. Seven. Full. Hours. For a simple vaccination. Seven hours of sitting, watching people who arrived way after us get called before we did. Seven hours of trying to stay patient while the staff acted like we were invisible. Seven hours of zero communication, zero updates, and zero effort from anyone working there. It honestly felt like we were stuck in some kind of endless loop where nobody knew what they were doing. The staff? Rude, careless, and completely unhelpful. Every question felt like we were bothering them. No one apologized for the wait, the mistakes, or the way we were treated. They rushed us when it was finally our turn, even though they were the reason everything took all day. The clinic itself felt chaotic and unorganized, like everyone was doing their own thing with no system, no structure, and no concern for the people sitting there for hours. For a place that’s supposed to care about people’s health, it showed zero care at all. By the time we finally left, I was exhausted, angry, and honestly shocked that a clinic could operate this poorly. This was supposed to be a quick visit, and instead it turned into an all-day nightmare. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. Not even as a last resort. The long wait, the rude staff, the mistakes, the chaos—everything about this place was horrible. If you value your time or your sanity, go literally anywhere else.

I called to cancel my dog’s spay appointment and spoke with Anna at the call center, who said she needed to contact the LA facility to process the cancellation. I asked if she could confirm it or if I’d receive an email, she said no to both. When I asked how I’d know it was canceled, she said I’d get my refund in 5–7 business days. I explained that doesn’t confirm the cancellation since my appointment is before then. She instantly got an attitude and hung up on me. Completely unprofessional.

Experiencia positiva: It's only for vaccine's. Not an antibiotic or any other "animal detail". Don't change your phone number or they lose the record's

Experiencia negativa: This place will nickel and dime you in the back end instead of just being transparent upfront. Always understaffed and 1/2 the staff is severely uninformed about what’s going on in general let alone the heal of your pet. Today I took my kittens in to get neutered and not only did they give one of them an additional shot I didn’t ask for, on “accident” let also couldn’t find records stating which kitten has received which shot and I’ve only taken them here since they were born. AFTER the neutering procedure they inform me that my male kittens would have open incisions that will take 2 weeks to heal and they do not provide protection collars around their necks to prevent them from licking. Cats lick themselves guys. The collars are an additional charge that they spring on you last minute. I’d advise you guys do some research to find other vets in the city. You’re not saving money with this place and your animals are getting subpar service at best. I heard a puppy screaming bloody murder today during their vaccine set up and the 2 women causing the uproar looked just as nervous as the rest of us. This place is bs.

Experiencia negativa: I called to get an estimate for a cat dental cleaning, X-rays, and extraction, but the customer service woman refused to provide any pricing without first charging $60 for an exam and $200 for blood work. It’s unreasonable that they couldn’t share even a general range, especially since they could quote the visit and blood work fee. The representative was dismissive and unprofessional sounding amused when I explained I needed an estimate to plan for the expense which I found very offensive. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

Experiencia negativa: Rip off. They want to charge a consultation fee just to give flea medication!!! Especially if it’s topical and not an even a shot. Total charge is 26 to touch my dog and 22 for flea chews. It’s just disgusting how a clinic is a money hungry.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to take my cat in for a exam she's 15 and she's not doing well she doesn't eat she has problems peeing she is almost blind . The first call the receptionist was quite short with me hey charged me at $35 holding fee for the visit and then 6:30 another $30 when I get there this is supposed to be a low income affordable community Clinic for your pets low cost $65 just to get in to see the veterinarian that's ridiculous I don't know what their ideal of low income is but that's a lot of money for me so I think I'm just going to let it go and find another place I'm going to have her euthanized but it seems like that they just really didn't care to even listen to me or anything it was just about money so I guess I'm going to look around and find another place

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken so many cats here to get spayed and neutered. Even when they were in Pico Rivera on Slauson. They are incredibly professional. I have never had a cat get sick or have an infection. They are so knowledgeable about the dosages and care for pets. The prices are the best. The staff all works so collaboratively and you can expect the same professional treatment every time. I LOVE CAMP LA- SNPLA. I highly recommend this Veterinary Clinic over any private clinic.

Experiencia negativa: Been coming here for YEARS since I got my fur child 8 years ago. I just went for flea medication.. not so low income anymore. They now charge $26 for consultation, $10 service fee, PLUS the $26 for the flea treatment. My brother took his cat to "low cost pet vaccines" and was just charged $25 for the medication. Not sure why they're charging $26 for consultation when the $10 covers "each cat or dog receiving services at our clinics. This fee helps cover examination, administrative, biohazard fees, dispensing fees and operational costs." Won't be coming back here cause it's not affordable anymore. Paid $140 (one got Fvrcp) for both my pets at the mobile clinic in Montebello. **nowhere on their website does it state that they charge a $26 consultation fee** might be helpful to add that since I wasn't prepared to pay that much for their visit.

It says two hours and that only for the Hispanic clients as everyone else is shuffled out as the front desk seems fit. If you speak Spanish they are very polite and helpful if you don’t be ware of the treatment and service

Experiencia fantástica: I have used their services for spaying my dogs twice now, years apart and could not be happier. Honestly if it wasn't for their low income program I wouldn't be able to spay my dogs. They are reliable and precise, I dropped off my dog at 730 am, picked her up by 1pm.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m so thankful for CAMP and their amazing staff! I had an urgent situation with my pet, and they were able to get me an emergency appointment that same weekend. Everyone I spoke to was professional, kind, and caring. They accepted my city voucher, and even with vaccines and dewormer, I only paid $47. I truly appreciate their affordable services and the compassion they show to pets and their families!

Experiencia negativa: **Please take time to read this** This clinic/veterinarian is very dangerous - do not let the low cost fool you. They perform unauthorized procedures and surgeries on dogs - they do not have any capacity for updating clients about their pets. We had scheduled a just routine teeth cleaning for our dog, as well as a precautionary small mass removal from 2 parts of his body. Our dog was dropped off in the morning, and he was picked up at the late evening. It was not until the following day that we discovered by checking our dog's mouth that he had 3 teeth taken out - without any warning or update to us, we were not consulted about this, and we were not told about the teeth being taken FOR FIVE DAYS AFTER THE SURGERY. Not a single staff member contacted us about this, no Doctor, no reception. In addition to this, they also performed surgery/incisions ON THE WRONG PART OF HIS BODY - they cut open his chest, and not his front leg as we had clearly designated on the pre-evaluation. These low-cost clinics are so dangerous, they process upwards of up to 30 animals a day - they do not have the pet's best interest in mind, and they dont care to update the owners for major changes in procedures, as they are just trying to get animals in and out like a factory. This place is so dangerous - if anyone wants to reach out to me for the proof I have, just let me know and Ill be willing to help. BE CAREFUL.

Experiencia negativa: Brought my elder dog here one time for a wellness check, and she hasn’t been the same since . I just wanted to make sure she was in good health, and thought it wouldn’t cost much. However, I paid the 30 dollar fee online and by the time they got done checking over her they concluded that I should have bloodwork done, a chest X-ray, nail trim, flea medication, allergy test, medication for her itchy skin, and another medication for some other condition they came up with. Eventually totaling close to 900 dollars! I ended up paying for the nail trim, flea medication, and some antibiotics which were expired and discolored. I noticed the antibiotics were orange in color instead of white 2 days later and stopped giving them to my dog. I couldn’t receive an exchange or refund. They took my dog in the back, trimmed her nails and forced a flea medication down her throat. She’s been lethargic , not eating and barely drinking water as of lately. My dog was fine before her visit. I’m afraid to take her anywhere else. I feel like she’s going to pass soon the pic is is at her visit when she looked much more vibrant and alert … UPDATE: I ended up having to put my pup down on January 10. 2025 because she never recovered. It was the hardest day of my life thus far. I took her to a Vet Clinic (Hancock Park Veterinary Clinic) who treated us with respect, were very kind , and patient. They knew we (myself, my young daughter and my pup) were coming for end of life services. They didn’t rush the process and gave us as much time as we needed with our baby before proceeding with the process. Everyday I ask myself, would my dog be alive had I brought her anywhere other than CAMP? In my heart I believe so. I received a text message from CAMP asking if I’d be bringing my dog in for further follow-up, to which I notified them my dog passed. A few days later I received a hand written card in the mail from the staff. I guess that was nice of them, but it still doesn’t bring back my dog. I will be forever hurt.

Experiencia positiva: I am speaking from the vaccine clinic experience for this review. What you don’t pay in money, you will pay in time. The prices here are extremely affordable, significantly less than taking your pet to a vet to get the same vaccinations. However, they do take in pets on a first-come, first-served basis, and the times I have taken my dog here, I end up waiting at least 2 hours before my dog is taken care of (most recently, I waited 3 hours). This is a huge downside to the vaccine clinic, but there are also some pros. The techs are very kind and attentive, and they seem to have a consistent workflow and good record-keeping. Overall, I would only recommend coming here for the price, but if you don’t mind paying an arm and a leg for vaccinations, please save yourself 3 hours and make an appointment at the vet.

Experiencia fantástica: Don't let the low prices fool you, CAMP offers high-quality vet care. My cat is very aggressive at the vet, and can be a pain to work with, but the CAMP vet and vet techs treat her with kindness and love. They listened and answered my every question, didn't rush me, and treated me with respect. Their level of care puts me at ease, and I can't recommend them enough. Romy and I are so thankful (even though Romy doesn't show it)!

I also have a free Surgery certificate and accept it by email if to them… making your experience even easier so you can focus on your pet recovery. The place is located on second label but the actual entrance is by the parking ramp located on the right side… not by the main entrance entrance . The stuff is so professional and polite and make sure to give you all the necessary information about the process and after surgery care.. they offer shots service and sale of some pet accessories. There’s plenty of parking space and wheelchair access . Low income benefits also… So happy with this experience.

Make an appointment on at the telephone number that never answers the phone. It's a good place for walking appointments if you need a shot or something quick. It will save you money on shots but other than that don't expect much.

The doctor and techs were very informative and explained everything clearly on the phone and the visit did not break the bank like my recent visits to other vets have. I hope I can get the majority of my vet stuff done here from now on.

Experiencia negativa: Took my sweeties to get vaccinated at their Signal Hill mobile location and although it's affordable their attitude was hostile and short. They let two other clients in with their kittens while they got vaccinated but when I requested to be with mine they only cracked the tent so I could see...very biast behavior and a blatant preference to their own race. It's not right to treat one patient better than the other when I'm paying just like everyone else...check yourselves ladies and treat other races the same way you would want to be treated.The end.

Experiencia positiva: Took my tabby to get neutered. They made it affordable because of the discount with the low-income certificate. Also, they performed the surgery on the same day. The only thing I hate about it is I couldn't get an appointment for weeks in advance. Then the line was too long, but they managed to squeeze in my cat at the end of the day.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my 4-year-old male pug Rocko, in to get neutered for a bilateral cryptorchidism. No problems the first week, but then I noticed a small opening with pus. I called and they were able to see him the next day since I called in the afternoon. They prescribed antibiotics and he is now doing well. I plan to bring in my female pug for spaying as well. Experiencia fantástica: CAMP LA deserves flowers and much more! My dog was diagnosed with pyometra and every emergency clinic I took her to was quoting me 6k-11k and I just don’t have that. I was placed on the cancellation list and given a call back the same day of diagnosis and scheduled for surgery the next day. Amazing people, truly helping people of low income from a place of authenticity. My dog wouldn’t be here without them and I appreciate this clinic more than you could possibly imagine! DEFINITELY would recommend to others.

Experiencia fantástica: I take my babies here for routine vaccines. The staff care about the babies and not the dollar amount. When I was taking my kids to get vaccines here and then going to their primary vet for routine exams the attendant kindly informed me that that wouldn’t be the best outcome for my pets. I’m glad I took her advice and she actually cared for my pets feelings. I will say if you don’t go as soon as they open it will be a wait. The same with spay/neuter you will probably get a month to two months out for an appointment. However if you plan accordingly this isn’t a huge issue. Also donate whenever you can they are a non profit and doing amazing work!

Experiencia fantástica: Not only is this clinic super affordable but they are some of the kindest and most empathetic people there is! I took my sweet Lucy to them to unfortunately put her down, and they had a set up for her with blankets on the floor since she could barely walk and too heavy to pick her up onto a table. They gave me ALL the time in the world to sit there with her before the process happened and after she was gone I cried my heart out for my sweet girl and they never once pressured me to leave, mind you it was way past there closing. I never felt like a bother to them, they even brought me water. They were so kind. I got a paw print of her and I just received a card in the mail signed by all their staff writing their condolences, super sweet place, highly recommend! Thank you so much CAMP LA for how you treated me and my sweet fur baby on her final hours I will forever be thankful for you guys! ❤️

Experiencia negativa: Why is so hard to make an appointment?? I was waiting for more than 40 minutes on hold and they never answer me. When I go online trying to make it, they don’t have any even for the next months coming. Terrible service for appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Very fast and helpful and understanding I just got my 2 doggies neutered on July 28 I was worried one of them had licked and had possibly opened wound I called the office told me I was able to walk in with him since it was just a check up the wait was less than expected I was super happy they where acting normal by the 3rd day nd my low income voucher covered their expenses and medication

Experiencia negativa: EDIT: I initially gave 1 star, but after speaking with the manager of this clinic, I felt heard and she apologized on behalf of the clinic. They took accountability - won't go into details - but it sounds like this was a lesson for them. Willing to give me preventative antibiotics free of charge so feces does not infect incision site. Won't be able to rate higher just cause of how upset I am but at least they didn't just ignore me and listened to my concerns. This clinic doesn’t care about your pets. I picked up my cat from his neutering on 7/29 , today, and he was covered in feces. how does the staff find it acceptable to return their pet in this condition I had to give me cat a bath even though it is not recommended after his surgery. I am upset because this clinic is absolutely the worst! I had my other cat neutered at San Pedro clinic and was returned in clean conditions. Unless you really can’t afford it, do not send your cat here for a neutering or you risk of your cat being infected due to their negligence and lack of care.

Experiencia positiva: Be ready to wait in a long line to bring your pets in for vaccines. If you decide to come here make sure you come early and are able to wait about 2 hours at least. You’d think they were giving free vaccines with the amount of people that show up and line up. Lol

Experiencia negativa: Horrible drop-off experience. My cat was sitting in a kennel for 7 hours before he was given his exam. At which point he was so stressed out they couldn’t even do a full exam. I specifically requested bloodwork which they could not do because he was so stressed out. I never received a call from the doctor, the notes were relayed to me but they consisted of “your cat is under weight, dehydrated and needs blood work.” They recommended “medicine” for him in the meanwhile until I can bring him in again. The “medicine” was actually a sedative. Had I known that it was a sedative I would not have agreed to it. If you have any other option than this place, take it. Actors and Others for Animal care might be able to help you with the cost of taking your precious animal somewhere else. That is what we are doing. There is NO WAY I will put my baby in that situation again. 7 hours in a kennel is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Experiencia negativa: Me and my girlfriend took in our dog back in April to get neutered we waited the hole 2 weeks after that and he was healed and everything till recently this month in June he started licking and biting his surgical site to the point where it looked infected long story short we took him in for a free first check up and we were not satisfied with his care at all we felt rushed they wouldn’t answer our questions properly every time we tried to explain his situation we would get cut off by the man that was helping us multiple times and it seemed like they didn’t really examine our dog at all they only had him in the back for like 5 minutes tops the only explanation they had was that he was possibly allergic to the stitches they used on him and that they need to fully dissolve for the issue to be fixed and that it would take months to do so for starters they never warned us or anything that this would be a possibility they only told us to waited the 2 weeks and after that our dog would be fine and on top of that after words they where pushing us to buy certain products of theirs that he didn’t even need over all we will definitely not be getting anymore services done here for our doggie or future pets of ours in general ever again wouldn’t recommend going here at all for any pet care in general it’s not worth any of the hassle

Experiencia negativa: Don’t wasted your time and money this is not what it is to be , This is a supposed low income place but they charge you extra 10 dlls for service fee on vaccines apart of the 17 for each vaccine,I brought my cat and dog but my cat weren’t able to get the vaccines she is usually cute but they say she wasn’t going out of her carrier and they don’t want to risk that she get lost on the clinic ,they study for that to know how to deal with animals also this is not her first time she is been having her regular vaccines plus they. need flea medication they run out of it ,that is really disappointed after 1hr 30 mins wait and only 4 dogs where ahead of us

Experiencia fantástica: So helpful and I don't feel at the mercy of expensive vets! Check the website for the vaccine clinic hours, they vary by day and location. I added of photo of the rates as of 05/2024. Arrive early as they limit the number of vaccines at each clinic.

Experiencia positiva: It's reliable. I took my dog 3 years ago to receive all of her vaccines, and the price has remained the same since then. I took my dog again last week to update her vaccines, and the process was still smooth. The only difference is that there is now a $10 fee per visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Hi everyone I have take 3 females 1 male cats to Spaying and neuter everything have been excellent but 2 of my baby girls have leaked them self even though I have put a E collar and I have take them to my bet and have put a skin tag and delate the proseas for one more week but one is being a year and the other one 3 weeks in half but both are doing good thanks Gad they are my babies and are everything to me and I still need 2 more girls to go is not easy but is not impossible ether and even though I love cats I’m ok for now one day I’ll be reach a millionaire and fix every single one I fine and feed them and have them a bed in all the city or state but for right now I’ll stay with my babies but this is a good place for me so far

Experiencia negativa: Do not bring your pets here if you love them. My cat mochi almost passed away I took him to get neutered and I’m not sure how they situate cats in the facility but my cat came back with calicivirus he has bad odor in his mouth wouldn’t eat and had bad breathing problems. The vet still made me pay for the vaccine to cure him and because they felt at fault only gave me antibiotic for free. I almost lost the most precious thing in my life due to this unprofessional place. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND

Experiencia negativa: SNPLA used to be economical and i used to bring my 3 dogs tfor vaccine here but now that it is CAMP CLINIC, they got greedy. They now charge $10 "service fee" per pet to "cover" examination, administrative and operational costs. LOL Yet they claim to be low cost pricing and non profit organization!! Errrr....i strongly disagree as one can find cheaper prices out there. I will not come nor support this place anymore.

Experiencia fantástica: Very efficient. I took my older cat 3 years ago and they were very good with her. Took the new addition to the family not too long ago and they were very good with him as well. I took them both in for spaying/ neutering. Neither had any complications and healed just fine.

Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for the cat alliance and happened to stop by the camp clinic, which I was helped with 3 baby kittens that I found without their mommy cat around, so, I'm thankful for all their help and for a better tomorrow for those 3 little ❤️ s. Thank you Camp Clinic.

Experiencia negativa: Do not take your pet here for a rabies shot. We are no longer taking our cat here at all after he became violently ill for days after receiving a shot. He is still sick and does not keep food down. Another woman who was there ran back in the clinic with her dog who puked outside after getting a shot here- we've ruled everything else out and we know that's what caused it.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Nguyen has nothing but care and empathy towards our senior dog and I thank her for that. The staff and Dr. Nguyen are fantastic. Expect wait times for appointments or to be seen, but what vet in LA doesn’t have that?

Experiencia negativa: Wish I could give ZERO stars. Took three dogs in there to get them 3-year vaccinations for rabies and when everything was done, two of them got three year vaccines and one of them only got a one year... and they charged the same price for all of them! On top of that nobody was able to explain why! What's the point of having a community vaccination service if they can't get it right?! So aggravating!

I notice a lot of people getting lost at the front main door that remains locked , to enter go up the drive way ramp where parking is also available and the door will be wide open and walk in line inside and wait to sign in. The wait time can get delayed because of how packed it can get probably best to try to get an appointment for a fee , but keep in mind the employees and volunteers are doing their best to get everyone in and out ! If you do not have patience you should try another place with a less wait time but more likely higher cost . But overall I enjoy bringing my puppy here and everything was affordable and all the employees were nice and helpful . Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: We arrived to their afternoon vaccine clinic. We almost left because we didn’t see any signage, everything look dark and thought maybe they canceled. However, my foster kittens needed their vaccines & I didn’t want to give up so easily. We decided to take the ramp & drive to the top of the building and lo and behold we located the vaccine site. There was no line! We filled out basic paperwork, the kitten were in & out in a flash. They did not seem stressed at all. It is exactly an advertised: a vaccine clinic. Will definitely come back as needed. Thank you for this great service!

Experiencia negativa: HORRIBLE. the wait time is unbelievable ( I was there for four hours) just to get a shot. They told me I would only wait about an hour. When one of my cats was finally called in she was gone for almost forty minutes (reminder she was only getting a shot) so I went inside to ask the nurse and I saw my cat on the FLOOR with no one attending her. My cat came out after ten minutes I went in. When my second cat went in it literally took five minutes for her to come out. If you're clearly understaffed don't accept clients?? also very rude staff. please if you can afford to take ur pet someplace else do it.

Experiencia negativa: The doctors are great but the receptionists are incredibly inefficient and attempt to give medical advice, which is outside of their scope. I would rate this one star but the doctor did a great job working with my cat. You guys need to hire new staff. Again.

Experiencia negativa: false advertisement. It says ONLINE I can call to make an appointment but when I call,she says I can't. I've been trying for at least two weeks. Waiting for the website to be"UPDATED". But it still says the same 'FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ". THE LADY WHO TOLD ME HER NAME WAS ANNA WAS VERY UNHELPFUL. AND REFUSE TO LET ME SPEAK TO ANY MANAGER.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a good experience here my puppy was well taken care of and the stuff was very friendly . The wait was two to three hours so I suggest you come in early. Overall I will come back just a bit earlier lol
