Experiencia fantástica: I took Bella The Pug for her pup check up & her first shot! I will be returning for her follow ups and 2nd 3rd & 4th (being the last) booster vaccination. So that she will live without worry and thrive! I just want to give her the best life. So we are doing everything we possibly can to protect her. This animal clinic is the best! I met most of the staff that was the and the veterinarian! He was so professional and very honest and straight to the point. He answered all my questions and he loved Bella The Pug I thought for a second I wasn't going to get her back lol everyone was just so kind. I recommend Baldwin & Crosstown Animal Clinic.

Experiencia negativa: First time; worst Dr. visit, including Veterinary; need to plan to spend the whole day waiting to be seen; I thou was seen by one of the employees listing the charges to be expected, not a Doctor explaining to me what my pet needed even though I clearly explain to them that all I needed was an allergy vaccine for my dog; moved from one room to another; even though my arrival time was at eight, I was told that by ten I would be seen; around twelve, I finally walked out without being seen; very chaotic, not professional planing;

Experiencia negativa: I was called to bring in my dog for a shot because he was next. I waited 2.5 hours before he was seen. Generally they see you about 30 minutes after you arrive. I was frustrated and expressed my concerns. The staff manager spoke with me explaining the delay. The problem isn’t the care. They are phenomenal. However, they don’t seem to understand that if they call you that your next, the expectation is that you are next. 30 minutes past due is acceptable but when you go beyond 30 minutes, it becomes questionable on the respect they have for your time. I, too, was politely informed that I need to go somewhere else after they took the dog. I have already taken my dogs to another vet that makes appointments from my past experience with Baldwin. I took the puppy there my father has established him there. To send clients away if you comment that you are disappointed is a bad way to conduct business. I did apologize since I am aware I was being aggressive. The prices are great, and if you have nothing but time, it’s cost effective. Just don’t complain. I did appreciate the service they previously provided but the attitude they have about customers time is disrespectful.

Very reasonable prices, price transparency along the way as decisions are being made if necessary, never any pressure to upsell to unnecessary treatments but still happy to address any concerns you'd like to. I always feel comfortable and heard here.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Moody and his staff were so knowledgeable, professional and so caring. My puppy had to be put to sleep and they treated us with so much compassion and my puppy with such care. I will always refer anyone to this clinic and Dr. Moody.

Experiencia negativa: First off, I took my sick puppy in to be seen. I called ahead of time because I stay an hour away. Was told to come on in and she'd let them know she had spoken to me so I can be seen regardless. Well unfortunately they sent me home but told me to come at 7:30am when they opened. So, here I am at 7:30, signed in and waited. Ohh, and.... WAITED! At about 11:30 I ask if they'd forgotten about me. They said no that it was close to my time. So I went back out and waited, and waited and waited until 2:30 when I went in and checked again. This time they showed me the line of about 8 people in front of me! They told me to go eat, that they'd wait for me. Well as soon as I got to my mom's house (15 mins away) they called!! They weren't gonna wait on me now. So, I said some stuff that I probably shouldn't have said but meant every word of it. My puppy was super sick and had lost a lot of weight. I was sad. I didn't give up nor did I let him give in to his illness. I gave him some medicines and now he's up and around, back to himself. That's NO thanks to this clinic who avoided even looking at my puppy! They hesitated on even coming to my car to see him and one even had a nasty attitude when speaking to me. Very unprofessional and uncalled for. They might be cheap but not enough to let them treat me any type of way. I don't recommend this place for emergency or regular visits. I WOULDN'T HAVE EVEN GIVE 1 STAR BUT I HAVE TO JUST TO POST THIS!

Experiencia fantástica: I had to put my15 yr old dog down. Dr King and Kaitlyn were so considerate and loving during the process. Kaitlyn went over and beyond for us. They made such a sad thing beautiful.

Experiencia negativa: Prices are okay but you better be ready to wait for hours. Just go home and wait for the call. One of the nurses said the wait time was less than an hour so I decided to stay! I ended up waiting almost 3 hours.

Experiencia negativa: Cheaper than most but lose 3 stars because of this ridiculous old school system that had me wait 3 hours at the office. My dog is agitated but i do not want to leave because I'm already invested 4 hours waiting. Signed in at 730 and I still have not been seen. It is now 11:56am. Hopefully they can do something with these reviews and better the system. Needs revamp for sure. Stuck in the old system.

Experiencia fantástica: I heard of this clinic online and read all the good reviews so today I took my cat because she wasn't feeling well. The staff was very helpful and took time to listen to my concerns. Will definitely bring my cat here for check-ups.

Experiencia negativa: Place is run by a bunch of passive aggressive, single mother types. I was banned from care here after leaving upset on the phone and publicly stating how little they cared about clients. Clearly I was proven right as a return visit resulted in them rejecting me from service on the guise of hurting all their feelings . I truly hope they fail as a business.

Experiencia positiva: Very affordable and nice employees. This place is a little crazy inside the very small space, but they make it work. They do not take advance appointments, so sign ups start at 8 am on Saturdays for that day's appointments (appointments start at 9 am). Appointments start at 8 am on weekdays. Make sure to get here in the morning to get an appointment (they will work past 1 pm to get thru all of their sign ups even though their hours say until 1 pm). They will also call you when there's only 2 or so patients ahead of you, so be prepared to hop back in your car for your appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I always get treated like a king . They take very good care of my pets . Wait time is very long but it is compensated by the professional staff members . Dr. Kacy and Dr.king are very professional and empathetic. All in all had great experience.

Aside from being very affordable, they were all friendly & a great help. The vet made sure to ask questions & listen, making our golden doodle feel much better. We highly recommend this clinic!

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely appauled at the lack of care for animals from this clinic. The vet running the clinic currently DOES not care about your animal or your budget. They ran a full check up on my cat who has a mass, i asked for them to do a full check up and spay and they charged not only so so much for my cat but wouldn't give any kind of understanding or payment plan for help at this critical moment in my cats old age and health. She's the most imprtant thing to me and I had a guy look me in the eyes and tell me it wasn't important enough to warrent that type of help. I then payed for what I could 509$. and when I called today to get an estimate on the mass removal they charged me over 600 dollars! Im going to a different clinic that shows more understanding , if you have anything worrisome or wrong with your animal do not take them here, they will gouge you out of ever penny. The man running thay clinic needs to be replaced immediately with someone more carring for animals, not his wallet

Experiencia fantástica: Hello everyone, it is a very good and friendly clinic, very good personnel and a very knowledgeable , experienced Vet.doctor!! I used to go to this clinic all the time with my pups when was living near by, and now despite that I moved far away to south side, planning to bring my dogs to this clinic again, despite how much it will cost me on the cab! Believe me it's worth it!!! They check thorally your companion, willing to communicate and explain, -very friendly, polite and always welcome new furry friends with their owners! In some other clinics and hospitals I have had very bad experiences, had to "pull info" out... I strongly recommend this clinic to everyone! This clinic takes an excellent care of our furry friends!! You won't regret it!!❤️❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Baldwin animal clinic today to get my puppy Remington his booster vaccines after visiting another vet clinic that charged me $157 for his initial set- same vaccines for $25 at Baldwin! And no, I’m not kidding. Price was a big concern bc I have been on unpaid maternity leave for 6 months and my husband’s and my savings is very thin until I return to work next month, but also I was hoping for a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff. This is exactly what my puppy and I received! The check in was a breeze, I arrived at 8:15 am checked in, the clerk was very friendly and smiled a lot. She estimated an hour and I could wait in my vehicle or come back when they phoned. Sure enough 45 mins later I was phoned by another very pleasant staff member that I was ready to bring in Remington. They had plenty of room and smiling faces for myself and my 6 month old son who was in his stroller. Katie a vet tech got some information spoke with the vet and was back quickly to administer the vaccines. Another staff member took payment and was also so friendly- I was in utter shock- I’m from Austin city of the friendliest and I have never interacted with such a staff ( in 20 years of vet office visits) there or here and keep in mind I’m typically paying 6 times more money. The best care, professionalism, kindness EVER. Thank you all so much

Experiencia fantástica: Thought I was going to have to put my pup down they ended up filling us in with his condition, give him two shots and some pills and sent us on our way that was a few weeks ago and he has done a complete 360 in health. Thank you guys so very much.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely will not recommend this clinic. I called to speak with the Veterinarian about my pet possibly having an allergic reaction, my call was never returned and when I called the next day the office manager Brianna took it upon herself to diagnose my pet and was offended when I asked her if she was the Veterinarian. The staff at this clinic believe they can speak to clients a certain way due to the fact that they mainly serve clients of low income, who believe this clinic is their only option. Again the office manager was offended that I verbalized that the cost was not a concern, however the lack of service was. I am appalled that the Moodys support this type of employee behavior. The fact the office manager had to say “I have witnesses” of our conversation tells me she is abusing her position. All I wanted was to verify what could possibly be happening with my pet but instead I was faced with a bully who is not held accountable for her actions/behavior towards any clients.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought two stray orphaned kittens here because they had a respiratory infection and I suspected some GI issues. The vet tech and the veterinarian were so thorough, kind, and patient. We saw Dr. King who was very gentle and gave some great guidance on how to care for them since their mother died. Overall, for a physical exam, fecal exam and two medications for two kittens it was $87. This was so budget friendly as taking on these kittens wasn’t an expensive I had planned. Their business model is different, being a walk-in clinic but I was assured that my time with staff wouldn’t be rushed, and it truly wasn’t. They are so dedicated to each patient! It’s so nice to know this clinic exists, it’s financially accessible and the staff is superb.

Was going to be charged $500 at another clinic and instead only had to pay $100 at this vet and my cat was better the next day. I was stressed for my cat but the staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable quickly. Just make sure to get there early to sign up as the spots fill up quickly.

Experiencia fantástica: My poor kitty was hurting so I got her to the doctor. Since it is a walk-in clinic I was there at 6 am to ensure she could be seen. The doctor was honest and thorough. The service is also quick. I've been taking my animals there for years.

Experiencia negativa: I brought my cat a couple of weeks ago. I told the vet what issues my cat was having, of course she didn’t listen at all. I waited 3 hours just for the vet to look at my cat for less than 2 minutes and she gave him a bunch of medication did not help. She assured me he would be fine. But the next day he was lifeless. If the vet would’ve stop running around and just took one more minute with him, she would have noticed the urine of obstruction and he would still be alive. And when I came in with my lifeless cat all they had to say to me was that the medications did work but he had other problems. Wow. This place is ONLY good for low cost vaccinations. If your animal is sick please go somewhere else so you can have more years with your animal than I did.

Experiencia negativa: Just wanted to get Nexgard and Heartworm meds for my dog. Just 6 ml both supply and I waited almost 2 hours and not ready. The desk lady name Kamille was rude and does not know customer service. The doctor has approved the Heartgard ands Nexgard again that is nonsense when I all ready have a scripted. They told me to leave because I was giving my opinion. So the Dr. Autumn Moody told me no heartgard or Nexgard go somewhere else. 6 girls just standing around doing nothing. I left and why did I ever go there in the first place. Bad management and no good Doctors there because I found out at another vet my dog has a heart murmur.

Just because it’s affordable doesn’t mean the quality is any less. Four stars because I feel bad for their staff, it is very hectic. They do need a bigger and better place and more staff.

Experiencia negativa: We brought a lost dog to Baldwin & Crosstown Animal Clinic to have its microchip scanned in hopes of finding the owner. I fully understand that most vet clinics do not take in stray pets, but we were only asking for a simple microchip scan. Unfortunately, this clinic refused to help solely because the pet was a "stray." As an animal clinic, there is no reason not to assist with such a basic service, especially when it could reunite a lost pet with its owner. The experience was disappointing, and the front desk staff showed little concern, which is not the attitude I would expect from a place entrusted with animal care. Thankfully, Santa Fe Animal Hospital was willing to help. They not only scanned the pet for a chip but also took the extra step of assisting us in locating the registered owner. Their compassion and willingness to help truly made a difference. If you are looking for a clinic that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Santa Fe Animal Hospital.

The staff are helpful and courteous, there's a big shade where u wait, parking is aweful but I was warned ahead so I did OK. Personal comment: NOT AT THE ANIMAL PLACE I am unfamiliar with this area and, I did feel that little bell of heighten awareness... No, no there was no reason at all every now and again just picked up a vibe, again the Animal place seemed welcoming and capable of all situations and very nice.

Experiencia positiva: I took in Jumper my Doxie on Saturday morning, because he seemed sick and looked sad. I paid 93.00 fir an upset stomach when the Vet had seen he had internal bleeding...he passed away on Sunday morning. And since Baldwin Vets is closed on Sunday I had to pay $66.00 for another Vet to take him. We are so sad because we didn't know what to do, and the people at Baldwin never pick up the phone. They picked up once and hung it right back up... RIP Jumper 3/2009-3/14/2021

Experiencia negativa: My sister rushed her beloved friend to Baldwin animal clinic after she was attacked by a pack of pit bulls in the neighborhood. She was told they stopped taking animals at one, but that they would see her since it was an emergency. They gave her an exam set my sister off with a towel for the blood antibiotics and a steroid and was reminded once more that since they were closed, she would have to return on Monday to get her dog sutures. My nine year old niece and sister had to witness their full of joy, friend, suffer, whimper, hyperventilate, bleed out, defecate and die on the way home. I believe a disservice was done because if there was nothing more they could do for her. They should’ve directed my sister to an animal hospital. The exact same attack happened to my parents dog a few month ago, but my parents took their Best bud to animal hospital were they told my parents Even though he looked happy He didn’t have much time and that they were gonna have to put him down. These two beloved pups lost their lives because of a A reckless owner. An attack that has nothing to do with The Baldwin animal clinic, but A sad scene in the back of a car that Could’ve been prevented had they have offered to put the dog down or sent her away to an animal hospital that was better equipped to service her.

Experiencia fantástica: As a walk in clinic there is usually a long wait but you can sign in and do errands until they call you back for your visit. The ladies are super nice & the Drs are amazing. I only take my pets here.

Experiencia positiva: Great prices, friendly staff. We did not see a DR since our puppy just received vaccinations so can’t comment on that. My only meh was the 3hr wait. Everything seemed so chaotic and not as organized as it could be but all in all wasn’t a horrible experience. Will be back but a lot earlier, a woman in line said she was there at 715am and they didn’t open till 9am and she was still waiting while we were there so that was crazy to me.

I usually get seen by Dr. King, who is amazing, a very kind and very intuitive and knowledgeable man. He always handles my cats with respect and care. He also seems to stay mindful of pricing, and seems to try to keep the cost as reasonable as he can. I'd recommend to anyone .

Experiencia fantástica: I normally take my baby to Banfield but they couldn’t see him until three days after he started having issues. I took him here the next day and he was able to get treated sooner and for much cheaper! Get in line at least 15 mins before 8 and ask for a phone call when they’re ready to see your pup so you’re not having to sit in your car for hours. Dr. Moody and the staff are awesome and it’s well worth the wait.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my pets has a chronic condition and has to get injections every couple of months and have medicine in between, unfortunately that gets expensive real quick. Baldwin is very affordable, like I’m paying a fraction of what I would anywhere else for the exact same treatment. For that reason, would recommend them to anyone who frequents the vet often due to chronic conditions. Dr. Moody is very nice and caring, he explains things thoroughly and offers several options for treatment. The techs are very nice as well. I would recommend showing up right when they open if you want to be seen quickly. You have to physically be there to put your name on the list but you are free to leave and run errands, etc, they call you when you it’s almost your turn so you can make your way back. It’s great that you don’t have to wait at the clinic because sometimes it takes a while. All in all, I’m very glad to have found this place where I’m able to take care of my pet and improve her quality of life without straining my budget.

Experiencia fantástica: They have always been so great with all our babies. They are short on time but it’s worth the wait. I wish I had money to make the building bigger for them. I love that they genuinely make you babies feel so loved and cared for.

Experiencia fantástica: We took 3 country cats to get vaccinations. First of all, we drove from Alice. These cats are not used to being confined, so they were scared and I actually thought that they might not get serviced because of their nature, but the vet, Dr. King was absolutely amazing. She was patient. Cats seemed to feel her calmness and became calm themselves. All three got their shots and we were back on the road in a couple of hours. This was my first time there. I did not know that you sign in and then wait with your pet/pets to be called. There were alot of people but considering how busy they were, they were pretty fast and very efficient.

Experiencia fantástica: Being taken my little fur babies here for years now. Staff is very friendly. The clinic itself was way too small, but now, with the new building, more space.

Experiencia positiva: I took my dog there to have her check out. I got there an hour early and they started seeing pets a half hour before they were scheduled to open. Unfortunately they didn't see my dog until nearly 3 hours later. But they were SUPER professional and SUPER nice, the Veterinarian himself was extremely nice and helpful. I was able to my dog check out and treated. I would definitely use this place again.

Experiencia fantástica: Did a good job with the dog, but the system in place is horrendous! Waited 3 hours in or car not to lose our place in line? I understand the only way to see that volume of people has been in place for a long time but hopefully when moved to the new building, a new system can be put into place with all that money they'll be making? Hopefully?

Experiencia fantástica: Long wait but extremely friendly staff and vet. They are very reasonable with prices and make you feel at home. I love their clinic kitty! She's adorable!! I love how she was sitting and making a Buddha pose. Lol

Experiencia negativa: Our Tammy was stung by a bee and we didn't know she was allergic. Tammy was swelling and having a hard time breathing. We went to this place but they just closed for the day but we were hoping they would let us in. We knocked several times and they saw us too but didn't give a damn. We left and went to Windsor Park Animal Clinic no one was there they were closed but right at that moment the vet came back to leave papers. We explained what happened and he opened for us and gave Tammy a steroid shot and medication to take home. We were going to pay him but he said no its free but we still went the next day and paid him. We told him thank you so many times if he had not come back to his office and had no empathy our Tammy would have died. The vet said that Tammy would not make it through the night may God bless this saint of a man. He even suggested my daughter become a veterinarian because she has a way of calming dogs too, Olivia is studying to become a Mammalogist. Baldwin & Crosstown Animal Clinic you ought to be ashamed of yourselves because you forgot why you got into this business. Try to learn the meaning of empathy if you want to stay in business people!

Experiencia fantástica: The wait time was relatively short today. Two sick cats examined, diagnosed and treated quickly and without fuss. The vet helped explain a less than optimal diagnosis in a way that was easily understood. And the tech mapped out the medicine routine for both the short-term treatment and long-term management.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff & doctors are awesome! Very friendly , informative, and caring . My dog was super relaxed, she allowed the staff to do what they had to almost like she knew everybody already.

Experiencia fantástica: Definitely .. of course only complaint is the way you have to not make an appointment in its first one there walk-in basis I don't like that but who likes to wait... other than that once you're in there they're the best people ever the prices are just right the staff is awesome I still give them five stars even if the wait is long because well that's just how good they are!!

Experiencia fantástica: Had to wait a while, but it was ok. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable doctor. New treatment was great for heartworm protection. Very affordable. I will be going back for dental services as they are very doable there, considering my budget. Great with the dog. !

Experiencia positiva: Long wait, but the staff was extremely nice and friendly towards my kitten. The service is cheaper than most of the places I've seen so far. $20.50 for them to look at the animal. I've gotten everything I needed from that place so far. Coming back in two weeks for vaccines. Overall good experience, and would recommend to local pet owners.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say the new system of them calling you instead of waiting all morning is phenomenal! Sure, you may lose your place in line if it take you long to return, but damn they call you. If you forgot to check in, your fault! Pay attention! Service is great and they love our fur families! So proud they are growing into new facilities!

It's a small building and there's a line but it's all worth it they work with you on the cost and Drs are very understanding. Experiencia fantástica: This clinic is the absolute best in town! I took my 1st cat there, puppies that had parvo & 30 yrs later am still taking my fur babies here! Only place in town that won't eat through your wallet, great staff & the vets are family. Limited hours & the wait can be long but just have to be patient. I really wish they would expand or get a larger location. Will always be a loyal customer

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my dog in with what they suspected to be a snake bite. Not only were they courteous and knowledgeable but they didn't act like the emergency vet in town who can be very condescending. My dog is 100% better after only two days. They were also very affordable unlike other places in town.

Experiencia negativa: You would think after herding clients like cattle for the past 20+ years that they’d update the building and make it more accessible for the people that pay his bills. Sadly, it’s gotten worse over the years. Atleast I used to be able to walk inside, now you have to walk up to a table located in the parking lot, where you get to scream all your personal info like phone number and address first last name because the busy traffic 3 feet away is so loud and in front of other waiting clients. I love supporting local but I refuse to give someone my money and also have my safety possibly compromised. This was my go-to place for my baby but I’d rather pay extra to go somewhere safe and won’t have to wait outside in the rain.

Experiencia fantástica: A great place to take your pets. I’ve been been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience. All the doctors and staff are always so kind and patient and really take care of your pets. Every issue any of my pets have had has been taken care of. Very thankful for this vet office.

Experiencia fantástica: All the physicians at this office are amazing, staff is super caring and helpful. It's such a high volume clinic and still manage to keep composure. We have been using this clinic for several years. I am extremely grateful for Dr. King helping my Boston terrier out since he's been having seizures.

Experiencia fantástica: Vet takes time to hear what's wrong with your pet and just because every room is pack or staff needs to ask a question he will stay focuse on you and your concerns over your pet and he does his best to make him/her feel so much better! What I love more is that not only is he concern about your pet but your budget and he will work with you!!
