Experiencia fantástica: My dog had to have emergency foreign object surgery out of no where. After calling endless places and being told I would have to put my dog down, I gave Town and Country a shot hoping for some sort of good news. I took my dog in around 9 pm right before they close at 11 pm. They saw my dog right away, planned for the surgery in the am, and also worked out an amazing payment option. This place not only saved my dogs life, but the staff and doctors are extremely considerate and had no problem with me calling nonstop to check on him. They even let you visit your animal if they are staying over night. If I could give this place 1000000000000 stars I would. Thank you so much for saving my baby! Highly highly highly recommend this place. Changed me and my babies life and I couldn’t thank them enough.

Experiencia negativa: I can't imagine how anyone would leave a positive review due to pricing. I just left this place, which I will never return. So it is 915pm and I have been waiting with my dog and 2 children for over an HOUR and a half at an EMERGENCY clinic. Now on the way to another. I came because of the reviews and all I heard from the front desk is "what do you want me to tell you she's busy scheduling pick ups"!!!!! If I could leave negative stars I would. Ridiculous, unprofessional, and truly insensitive. This has never happened to our family. Do better!!!! Response to their answer! I arrived before 8pm and left after 9pm. My dog was NEVER seen!!!! Your employee is a LIAR!!! A young rude little girl. As I read your response I hoped you confused me with someone else, but when you mentioned the license I knew you did not. I ripped it out of her hand when she answered me in a nasty way. If he was checked what would I be waiting for??? This is comical, but mostly disgusting for ZERO accountability, which makes sense with your employee's attitude. If there was a serious emergency after 9pm it was unbeknownst to me and was never even mentioned but more importantly I left, more lies. Post your sign in sheet! The only thing you said that was true, well semi, was saying you were discharging, but clearly you need to learn priorities, not just lie about them (you know the emergency animal situation) but the sick animals walking in not the ok ones that are fine and going home. AGAIN PPL IF YOUR ANIMAL IS DYING DO NOT GO HERE!

I called ahead and explained that we had an emergency on our hands and that we would be there by 10:30p. Was told “no problem” but when we arrived we were turned away and told that they couldn’t see us. We ended up having to wait to see our primary care the next day and had to put her down. Trip #1 We had a fantastic experience at Town and Country Animal Hospital. Dr. Montero and Daniela were incredible—they took the time to answer all of our questions and put our minds at ease. We were able to get our dog seen very quickly, which we really appreciated. On top of the great service, the facilities are spotless. Highly recommend this team to any pet owner!

Experiencia fantástica: I have visited Town & Country Animal Hospital a few times now. My first visit was in August, when my Shiba Inu needed an emergency C-section. I was devastated and terrified, and while the medical care was excellent, I unfortunately had a very negative experience with the receptionist. At the time, I chose not to leave a review because what mattered most to me was that my dog received the care she needed. The veterinary team saved her life, and the puppy survived as well. I am especially grateful to the nurse who worked so hard to revive the puppy, she rubbed him and brought him back to life. However, the one major issue during that visit was the receptionist’s attitude. She was extremely rude and showed zero empathy for me or my dog when we arrived. The next morning, I unfortunately had to deal with her again, and the same rude behavior continued. Today, I returned to the hospital for a minor injury my dog had. This time, there was a different receptionist, and she was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Hany Michael and the rest of the staff were also kind, professional, and took great care of my dog. I’m grateful for the treatment and the overall service. My only suggestion for this hospital would be to ensure that the front desk staff are consistently friendly and compassionate—especially because pet owners often come in stressed and worried.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve come to TCAH for more than 10 years with both of my dogs. Luna and the rest of the front staff is great. They always remember my dog’s name and come out to greet him since they know he’s super friendly and loves it. They’ve saved his life a couple of times since he’s a famous swallower of things that are not food. They see him quickly and make him vomit and never use the wait and see approach. Because of this issue of his (and how sweetly they treat him) this is the only place I board him with peace of mind.

When they told me the price for the treatment would be$960, I decided that I had to leave to another place because I did not have that amount of money. Oh surprise, they charged me right there $97 without even touching my dog. They didn’t look into him; nothing. The $97 was just for the price of the treatment. WHAT A SHAME never, never go back to this place !!! UPDATE IN RESPONSE !!! The dr never performed any physical examination on my dog!! HE DID NOT TOUCH MY DOG AT ALLLL. And for the amount paid I can show you my credit card that was charge by 97$ !!! If you wasn’t there you better look for the correct info before write such a thing!!!

Experiencia fantástica: TCAH is the best vet— after having used them for years with my family’s dog, I now bring my own dog Margaret to them for everything. They truly treat you like family, taking care of your pets as if they were their own. Considering my dog is a miniature dachshund (only 10 pounds!) who has some anxiety issues, I get so much peace of mind leaving her here for boarding or daycare when I’m traveling or attending work events. They all know her by name and she gets excited to see the doctors and nurses! Dr. Michael in particular goes truly above and beyond, to the point where I am left shocked by how far out of his way he will go to care for Margaret, even being available for her on days they are closed! They are the best and I truly don’t know what I’d do without them!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give a 0 star I would!!!! My dog was miss diagnosed. She has a hernia and I was never told . I was told it was some hormonal problem she had! Her hernia ruptured and she lost her life!! She was the best dog and companion I had !! She lost her life because these so called vets could not diagnose her problem!! Even the day I took her in pain they did an X-ray and they could not tell me what was going on! She was pregnant with 4 puppies and they told me she was not pregnant !!! These vets are a joke! Don’t take your pets here is my advice!!

Our beloved Charlie beagle was taken in by South Florida Beagle Rescue after finding himself on the streets and being struck by a car. He suffered extensive injuries to his pelvis, chest, and was also battling pancreatitis. Town and Country stabilized Charlie, provided assistance with a very complex orthopedic surgery, and loved and continued to watch over him closely for the month he was within their care. Charlie has now made a full recovery due to the amazing vet team at town and county. He has learned to not only walk again but run. He now lives his best life with his amazing fur siblings in Central Florida. We are honored to have met the talented team at town and county and are extremely grateful for their commitment to helping rescues like Charlie have a second chance in life.

Experiencia negativa: I had a devastating experience at this clinic. On 12/13/2025 around 10:35 PM, I brought my 2-week-old puppy in for an emergency due to stomach and breathing concerns. The veterinarian, Dr. Michael C., examined him briefly and told me he was “just breathing normally” and that he would be fine if he stayed with his mother. No testing, monitoring, treatment, discharge instructions, or warning signs were provided. About one hour after we returned home, my puppy passed away. I understand not all outcomes can be prevented, but given his age and symptoms, the evaluation felt alarmingly insufficient. This has been heartbreaking, and I am requesting a formal review and filing a complaint with the State Veterinary Medical Board so other pet owners don’t experience the same loss.

Experiencia negativa: Ayleen the vet vet nurse was genuinely kind. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise stressful visit. I also want to acknowledge the first veterinarian later had an emergency and needed to leave early. I understand these situations happen. THE VISIT: My dog, was the first patient of the day and was seen for increasing physical pain over the past 48 hours (no GI symptoms).After I dropped her off, she was taken back. 3 x-rays were taken, but I was never told which views were done, nor was I shown the images. The veterinarian returned, gave a rushed explanation, (arthritis and knee-caps that pop-in and out as cause of pain), brief instructions and sent me home with medications. Ayleen reviewed the medications, there was little overall discussion with vet, and I did not feel I had a clear understanding of what was happening with my dog. During the visit, I mentioned that my other dog, who had been on an annual care plan, passed away 2 months ago, and I asked whether their 50% off a second dog's annual plan could be applied to Bly. The vet said yes but this info was never communicated to the front desk. After Returning Home (without giving any meds or doing anything incorrectly), my dog suddenly began passing straight blood, not just mixed in stool. I called and was told this was "normal" due to stress and pain. This explanation was brief and rushed, with no name of a condition or reassurance. Because the clinic is a 2+ hour round-trip drive, I asked if the prescription could be sent elsewhere, like chewy and overnight it. I was told my only 2 options were to purchase through their pharmacy online or return to clinic to pick it up. After already spending $781, this was extremely frustrating that I was not allowed to fill the prescription elsewhere to save time and $. If the medication truly could not wait 24 hours, it was not clearly communicated to me. Front Desk Experience: My interaction with Vanessa at the front desk ultimately led me to leave this practice. From the moment I walked in she appeared visibly annoyed by my presence. In the 2.5 hours I spent there I spoke with her about 3 minutes in total, her attitude made me feel dismissed. She seemed irritated when I asked her to recalculate my bill with the wellness plan applied because I assumed the 50% off was applied, I wanted to pay the full 12 months at that moment but there was no effort to explain the charges or benefits. There was also no communication between the front and back end staff. I shared that my dog passed away two months ago and that I had paid for a full wellness plan that was never fully used. I asked respectfully whether any portion could be honored toward a plan for my second dog, despite the vet saying yes, Vanessa didn't seem interested. The interaction ended with me standing at the counter unsure if we were finished. There was no indication we were done, no, "I hope your dog feels better." I know when customers are being rude and unreasonable and I in no way provoked the responses I got from Vanessa. FOLLOW UP: I begrudgingly returned and spoke with the head vet, who was much better. He took time to explain stress colitis from the morning visit (an actual name for the condition), why my dog was bleeding , and what had likely happened. While I still wasn't shown the x-rays. this level of communication should have started earlier. I asked another front desk agent to please email my records over to an email, I clearly wrote it on a note pad with my name, #, and the email. I had to call three times to get it sent to the correct email. OVERALL This clinic has convenient hours, and in a true emergency I might return. However, for routine, ongoing care, I prefer the visit I had the next day at Alejo vet clinic . The exam was done in front of me, Xrays and bloodwork were shown and explained, nothing was rushed, lower cost, and that is the level care I want for my pets. I truly hope this is taken constructively. Unfortunately, the poor communication, front desk interactions and restrictive pharmacy practices mean I won't be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I simply cannot say enough wonderful things! Faced with a poisoning emergency on a Sunday we called and scheduled an emergency visit. The staff and Doctor Seco were amazing Super communication and care!

Experiencia negativa: Brought in my cat because he wasn't feeling well, I picked him up the next day and he was paralyzed and could not eat, he obviously had a seizure when they insisted he spend the night. His tongue was sticking out. Before I brought him home, I asked the techs if he was ok and they said yes. Just give him pain medicine every 12 hrs. I brought him home he had seizures and declined very quickly. I did t get any follow up or calls back. I tried calling abd they wouldn't answer or call me back. He died 5 days later, a painful death. I lost my faith in vets. I'm completely devastated. All they care about is money.
