They were knowledgeable, informative, and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured or pushed into anything. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. It’s refreshing to find a veterinary team that truly cares about both their patients and their owners. Fantastic experience: I have taken both my younger and much older dogs to North Forsyth Animal Hospital 6-7 times now. My younger dog has been seen for shots, ear infections and for parasites. Two rounds of over the counter products didn’t work at all! We ended up getting several months worth of heartworm and flea meds. No issues with parasites since then. My old dog is being treated for mild heart failure and just had a dental cleaning and extractions. Each and every time we’ve been to this office, all staff members have been exceptional! The receptionists is pleasant and she has gotten us in quickly every time. The vet techs are all super nice and patient with any questions. They go above and beyond to help. Same with the veterinarians we’ve seen. Dr Croy is the one I saw most recently. She’s knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They don’t make you feel rushed and spend ample time explaining things clearly. They all show compassion and they don’t try pushing unnecessary stuff. They’re honest with what they feel is the best option for your fur baby. Another thing I love is they’re easy to get in touch with either by phone or even through text exchange. They did a fantastic job with my old dogs dental cleaning and extractions. I was pleasantly surprised with the price as well. It ended up being a couple hundred cheaper than what I was quoted a couple other places. I won’t ever hesitate to bring my sweet dogs back for anything!

Fantastic experience: Our dog Olivia was dealing with back pain, and when we saw that North Forsyth Animal Hospital offered laser therapy, we decided to try it. Dr. Croy was wonderful—kind, patient, and very thorough in explaining everything. After this experience, we decided to switch both of our dogs to her practice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’d give more stars if I could. I am an equine professional and have close relationships with my horse vets, but often come to a small animal vet and feel like I get the run-around. Dr Croy and this office breaks the mold, they are fair, compassionate, good at their job, and down to earth. They are available and excellent at following up.

Negative experience: I’ve been brining my cat her for at least 3 years for an issue he’s been having. He had been hacking and making weird breathing sounds. They diagnosed him with asthma. Since then the hacking and sounds progressively got worse. Until last month I brought him back in for the hacking and said nothing is working. Maybe something else on top of his asthma? I took him two times within two weeks of each other last month. They gave him antibiotics again.. the second time I took him last month I had to ask to have them to do an x ray. They found constipation and treated it but did nothing about his hacking. I took him in for a second opinion at another vet last Saturday. Turns out he has cancer on his trachea! All the 2 nd vet did was, was what I asked to do a full body x ray! If north Forsyth would have done there job and there diligence they would’ve caught this. I then get referred to a specialist from the 2nd vet. I get in Tuesday last week, there is nothing they can do, the cancer is so big and at the rate of his weight loss they couldn’t do chemo. The mass was pushing down on his air way and that’s why he was hacking and couldn’t eat. The hacking had been going on the last 3 years and him not being able to eat started last month.My cat had lost so much weight, he couldn’t eat and north forsyth knew this. The specialist said depending on how he eats I give him a couple days. He sadly was put down yesterday because he was suffering, couldn’t eat anything, and not breathing right. North Forsyth animal hospital failed him.. My cat deserves justice. He was my soul baby. He did not deserve this. My heart is just shattered. Do better..

Fantastic experience: Dr.Croy and her staff are one of the best! They have taken care of all my animals for the past few years now and were so caring and compassionate when it came time to put my dog Roadie to sleep. They didn't rush the process and gave me all the time I needed. Totaly wonderful people to have caring for your furry companions.

They updated us on all the options and condition of our pup after an accident. Fantastic experience: This is the most helpful, and caring vet's office we have ever been to! When we have an emergency we can send a text and get a response ASAP. They are so thoughtful, and text or call to check on our fur babies after they are seen by there vet. I can not imagine going anywhere else for our babies.

Fantastic experience: Our 2.5 year old German Shepherd was throwing up and getting weaker by the hour. I called our vet, and was told that they had no available appointment for a week, that I would need to take him somewhere else. When your dog is sick, you want a vet that has seen him before. Not happening today. I went to another vet and was told they don't do surgery, and was referred to Dr. Cory with North Forsyth Animal Hospital. Of course, I was concerned, as Dr. Cory had never seen our dog, but, man, was I impressed with her and the staff!. Once I had the address, we were on our way. The staff immediately took our dog back to check vitals and prepare for surgery. It was late in the day when they finished--of all things it was a corn cob causing an obstruction. I received updates along the way. The next morning, we were back at their office where they monitored him for the rest of the day. The cost estimate was $3-4,000 for the surgery, and the final charge was approximately $2,800. Looks like we're moving records for a new vet that can not only get you in to see a vet, but do surgery the same day. I was texted and called to check up on our dog. I can't recommend Dr. Cory and her staff enough. Our dog is now on the mend and we are looking forward to years of working with Dr. Cory and her staff. Thank you guys SO much!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience all around! I went in today afraid my dog wouldn’t let them cut her nails. She is very afraid of nail trims and I’ve been to 3 different places who refused to help us. I am so grateful for the techs who took their time and were so sweet to both of my dogs. From the moment we were welcomed in to leaving I was overwhelmed with the treatment we received. Thank you so much for making our families day and for being apart of my dogs lives moving forward!

Dr. Croy sat and sobbed with us on the floor. This is the 4th time we have had to do this, and we've never experienced such compassion. I would not have wanted to be anywhere else. We are so incredibly thankful for Dr. Croy and her staff ❤️

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend North Forsyth Animal Hospital! We had to bring in our senior cat, Mimi, who is VERY afraid of being at the vet, and they had her on the table and purring like crazy in about a minute. The entire staff was great from the moment we walked in, very helpful and put us at ease. We had to leave Mimi for a few hours so she could receive fluids and have urine collected, and as soon as they were able to get some results I received a text. Prior to doing anything, explanations and price for each step was explained thoroughly. When we picked Mimi up, we received detailed instructions on medication and treatment. Then, today, I received a text checking on how she is doing. It’s the best experience we’ve had at a vet ever, and we will definitely use them for all of our animals in the future.

Negative experience: Update: today I received a card in the mail for condolences about my animal passing.. this animal died 2 years ago and this vet office knew that (first misdiagnosis) because they treated another animal in my family shortly after (another misdiagnosis). When we first moved here I was excited to find a vet who was a woman. Unfortunately, we have 3 experiences that ultimately led me to leave this practice. The first one I chalked up to be covid. The practice forgot to give my dog the immunizations that she was there for. While it was annoying to have to come back the next day, it wasn't a deal breaker. I will fully admit that the unorganization was a turn off. The second problem was misdiagnosis. I brought my elderly animal there because he has bumps on him and was ensured it was more of an allergy thing. Turned out to be aggressive cancer. I left the practice after that because missing a diagnosis is a whole other ballgame than forgetting an immunization. The final straw which led me to this review was fast forward a year, we adopted a kitten and he was sick. The rescue sent us to N. Forsyth since it was their vet. Hesitant, I went. Misdiagnosis again! The vet said he just had a cold and sent me home with the human equalivlent of vitamin C. When he didn't improve a week later, I took him to my vet for a second opinion and turned out the poor guy needed to be quarantined because he was contagious and needed several antibiotics. The vet is a very nice woman, she really is. I just don't think that she has the experience under her belt to have her own practice. 3 misses is kind of like 3 strikes your out in my book. She is a little too conservative with her diagnosis and while I don't think it would have impacted our second outcome, it could have killed the third.

Fantastic experience: Our puppy got spayed with NF Animal Hospital and had a few complications in the healing (nothing related to surgery, just an 8 month old puppy with the energy of a middle schooler who just drank a Monster energy drink, thinking she can do acrobatic moves 4 days after being cut open ‍♀️). The vet has a text number where I’ve been messaging with questions. I’ve always received prompt and helpful answers, and I am super impressed with the knowledge and care they’ve given throughout this process. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: I drive almost an hour for my dog to see Dr. Croy. I would not take him anywhere else. My dog is very fearful and reactive at the vet, but Dr. Croy and the staff here do everything they can to make me and my dog as comfortable as possible. My dog is not easy to deal with, and we have had some very bad experiences with other vets. I can honestly say that I have never had anything less than a good experience here, and I am so thankful that I have found a vet who truly cares about my dog and his wellness. If you are thinking about bringing your dog here, don’t hesitate to do it! From the front desk to the back, everyone is amazing. I can’t recommend this office enough.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a vet in the area that would be wonderful not only with my 8 and a 1/2 year old dog but with me. And I found it! I read the reviews on Google and the next door app. My senior girl all of a sudden slowed down-and-out of the blue no longer wants to go on Morning walks so of course I am concerned. The doctor and all of the staff were so incredibly nice and so good with my girl! The doctor called me with the blood results and we went over everything. I don't remember the last time I had a doctor spend so much time on the phone explaining things and talking about next steps. Thank you for giving me peace of mind that my baby girl is in great hands!

Fantastic experience: Since we brought our pup home, we’ve gone to see the staff here at North Forsyth. They are incredibly caring and informed. We love how well they listen to our needs and take care of our little guy. It’s a bit of a drive from us, but we are more than happy to head out there for every appointment!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about how wonderful this practice is. I had only been a client there for less than a year when my dog was diagnosed with cancer less than two months ago. It was truly heartbreaking for my husband and I to lose this little fellow this week as we rescued him a short 6 years ago, but they went above and beyond the norm to make this as painless as possible. Thank you to all of the staff for your care and concern and excellent vet care.

Fantastic experience: As a pet owner who has worked in veterinary clinics, I was stressed about finding a new clinic I really trusted when I left the veterinary field as I could not be on the other side to see everything like I have been used to. This clinic 100% exceeded my expectations. Today, I had an urgent situation in which my dog had eaten something problematic, and I had not yet chosen a new vet for my pets, so I was stressed. I was nervous about asking a clinic to work my dog into their schedule as a new patient. However, the receptionist had a wonderful attitude when I called and made me feel at ease and did not make me feel like an inconvenience, despite not being a current client there. They were quick to get my dog Oliver worked in. The doctor and all of her staff were kind and personable during the entire visit. They made me feel comfortable and worked with me on what I could afford without compromising care. The clinic is beautiful and clean. They even showed me my pups x-rays in the exam room so I could visually see their concerns. The treatment I got from everyone made this a 1000% less stressful experience. I will absolutely continue bringing my dog here in the future, and definitely plan to establish my two cats as patients as well! I am certain anyone looking for a vet for their furbabies would be completely happy here. ❤️ Thank you for providing wonderful veterinary care!!

Fantastic experience: I took my dog Oakley here today to have some masses removed that Pet Vet was unable to do. And let me tell you Dr Croy and her team are top notch not only did they give me confidence in my choice they went above and beyond the whole way. I received text messages letting me know the status of the surgery and they even sent me a picture of my dog in recovery. They responded to my text questions in a timely professional manner and made payment by phone easy. The whole process with them was flawless and gave me peace of mind that my dog was in good caring hands. And thanks to Ashley for being on her game came to pick my dog up and she saw me and I had gone in to wait and before I knew it there came my sweet boy. This place definitely got a new customer.

Fantastic experience: North Forsyth Animal Hospital are the most incredible people. Our dog Banjo was bitten by a snake on Thursday. We brought him to the closest place available, which happened to be North Forsyth Animal Hospital. Not only did they see him immediately, they even texted me throughout the week to check-in. Every morning, they checked in on him. Dr Croy went out of town for the weekend, but still made herself available if we needed her. One of the techs even came in when the office was closed to fill a prescription for a new medicine! If you take your pet to North Forsyth, you can rest assured they are with people who genuinely care about your pet! I believe they saved Banjos life, and I will never go to any other vet!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience here at North Forsyth. My dog is 8 years old and my vet always pushed a dental off for her. I felt like her teeth looked like they had a lot of tartar and her breath was so bad. I took her to Dr. Croy for a second opinion and she recommended a dental. Good thing she did and good thing she has dental X-ray because she did a dental X-ray and discovered that my dog had a tooth with a crack it it that could have caused future problems! I am grateful for the team at North Forsyth Animal Hospital. Zoe was in great hands with them today and is now home resting with a mouth full of beautiful teeth and much fresher breath!

Not only do I want the best care for my pets, I want all pet owners to receive the best possible care for their animals, too. Dr. Croy is an amazing doctor who is incredibly kind, compassionate and patient. She takes the time to answer all questions and truly cares about what is best for your pet. And where would we be without very intelligent, talented and caring people like the office staff at North Forsyth Animal Hospital? We first saw Dr. Croy almost a decade ago with our pup Jack at a different practice. We moved away for many years and upon moving back, Jack had become an old man. I learned that Dr. Croy had opened her own practice. We were very fortunate this amazing team was there to help us in a time when we needed direction and support in making the tough decision to euthanize. Dr. Croy cried with us when helping make the decision. She was accommodating and flexible, and made a house call to allow us to say goodbye in the comfort of our own home. And the care didn't stop there. It's been a week since we lost Jack and we've received a heartfelt card from the entire team. We've moved a lot (and have had a series of health issues needing specialist veterinarians). We've seen over a dozen vets in the last 13 years an Dr. Croy merits all of the praise. I cannot recommend her or her staff enough.

My sweet pup Roxy was under the weather last weekend and could not keep anything down. Dr. Croy was able to fit me in right away to see her. She took x-rays and was able to diagnose the problem and go to surgery that day. A week later Roxy is doing fantastic and running and playing with her brother as usual!
