Fantastic experience: I have a dog and Lizards and a snake. They have taken care of any problem any of my pets have had. They also inform you fully as to the problem. Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Great people.

Positive experience: Vets, nurses, and secretaries are all nice and normally know what their doing. I have been told contradictory advice about my cat, nothing big just annoying when it happens. This is however the only vet I trust due to how long I've been with them. My parents also went here for their cats. The only problem they ever had was due to lack of funds for surgery complication fees. Even when my parents couldn't afford to pay extra fees the vets still saved their cat without extra charge which they previously and after had to pay. I've heard bad things about many other vets and this is definitely the second best option in everett. They are expensive, which is my only real complaint. They use to be reasonably priced, however these past few years they have jacked up the fees for annual check ins and appointments in general.

Fantastic experience: This was the closest decently rated place I found after my indoor cat and her two brain cells inexplicably fractured both bottom canines. Her mouth was a bloody mess (she busted her lip too) so I called in a bit of a shaky panic. The front desk was very nice and showed concern and urgency. She immediately talked to the vet and from there got me booked for Monday morning (accident was Friday). We got shown into a room as soon as we got there. The vet and vet tech were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were able to know the general extent of the damage and were given two options, yank them there or see a specialist. We opted for a specialist and she gave us recommendations of dental vets in the area. Overall appointment was pretty quick and concise. For the exam (general body check and a quick look in her mouth), shots (RCP&Rabies), and a single dose of flea/tick/heartworm treatment, it came out to $255. A little pricey imo but seeing the itemized receipt makes it look more reasonable (plus a friendly staff to make a stressful situation a little less stressful ESPECIALLY when it comes to my cats well being, I will hands down shell out for). Very happy with the service, even recommended them to a friend the same day!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my dog to Northwest Animal Care Hospital since we adopted her 5 years ago and I have nothing but good things to say. Our dog is a little bit on the difficult side (fearful, has to be on medication, muzzled, etc) and they handle her great + are always helping make any adjustments we might need when appointments sometimes don't go as planned. Everyone from the front desk to the veterinarians are amazing!

Negative experience: I have deleted my previous 5 star review from 4 months ago, as I can no longer, in good conscious, recommend this clinic. They were absolutely 5 stars in the past, but in the last year there are now too many red flags to continue to ignore and they are now putting my pet's health at risk directly and creating random roadblocks that are clinic-specific. Minor Red Flags: Had to call a couple of times about lost authorizations the past couple of years – filled pretty quickly after calling - no big deal. More Recent: Heartgard –25.2 lb dog - Rejected my 0-25lb order, told me I needed the next size up. Placed next size up. Rejected my 26-50 order, told me I needed the size below. They were apathetic when I advised they were literally the ones who refused to fill it at 0-25, was advised nobody there realized the next size up was 26…? This resulted in my dog receiving their dose about 2 weeks late by the time it arrived. Not the end of the world, but not ideal either and a time sink. Major Red Flag: My pet has been diabetic for 6 years, receiving insulin twice a day within .5 units of the same dose that entire time – very stable. At previous visits, I’ve always been told the Fructosamine test was optional – did it once, decided not to the last yearly visit. He recently was not eating as he injured his back – went in for meds – decided to do bloodwork and the test then. Huge mistake on my part apparently – in hindsight a waste of money because I knew he was inconsistent at the time eating and now it is literally risking his life by coming back elevated. He was in 6/15/25 – 4 months ago – had a full exam and bloodwork. Had a yearly exam prior to that. Imagine my surprise when his INSULIN prescription was REJECTED. Why? Well since he is a senior going on 14 they are now REQUIRING him to come in EVERY 6 MONTHS and the previously optional fructosamine test is now required OR THEY WILL NOT FILL HIS INSULIN PRESCRIPTION. And since the newly mandated 6 month visit is due in ONLY TWO MONTHS, they will not be filling it until he comes in. That would result in hundreds to potentially thousands of additional fees per year, on top of his insulin, heartworm prevention, and flea meds. The alternative is…letting him just die I guess? We haven’t been giving him insulin twice a day, every single day, for 6 years and sticking him for blood draws because it is just a fun hobby for us. The telling part? I advised he is prone to not eating periodically, which would of course skew the fructosamine test again which measures over an interval not a day. Did they care – offer a glucose curve instead? Nope. Just a blatant cash grab at the expense of his life. Hated having to move away from my last vet in Texas who just made sure the glucose curves being run at home were within expected levels, had us come in once a year to look him over, and made having a diabetic pet pretty easy honestly. Used to be the same here - not sure what changed in the past year. Luckily, I still have a couple of weeks of insulin left. So now – I’m wasting my time, taking off work, finding a brand new vet clinic and onboarding my pets there - because I'm not going to take them to different clinics - so I can literally continue to provide the medication he will die without. I understand a yearly visit is required for prescription medications – making me come back after 4 months is just extortion at his expense and expecting that is unrealistic and stressful for him at his age. Like I said, we've been doing this for 6 years now. I have an appointment with another vet in 2 weeks who just needs a wellness visit to establish care – they are not requiring a new fructosamine test since he had one literally 4 months ago with normal at home glucose curves and have confirmed I will only need to go back once a year to maintain the prescription. Attempting to force all these extra expenses and roadblocks to care is a decision Northwest made, not the industry standard. Please be very careful taking diabetic pets here and stay on top of your timelines!

We're concerned to hear about your recent experience at Northwest Animal Care Hospital. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we take all feedback seriously. Thank you for sharing your concerns.

We understand your frustration regarding the changes in our protocols and the confusion you experienced with the Heartgard prescription sizing. We recognize that the conflicting information you received about the dosage requirements created unnecessary delays in your dog's medication, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

Regarding the insulin prescription requirements, we acknowledge that the implementation of the six-month visit requirement for senior diabetic pets represents a change from our previous protocols. We understand this has created an unexpected financial burden and scheduling challenge for you, especially given your pet's stable six-year history with diabetes management. We recognize your concern about the timing of the fructosamine test requirement, particularly given your dog's inconsistent eating patterns that you mentioned could affect the test results.

We appreciate you taking the time to explain your situation and the successful management approach you had with your previous veterinarian in Texas. Your detailed feedback about the authorization issues you've experienced over the past couple of years is also noted, and we understand how these administrative challenges have contributed to your overall frustration with our services. We're sorry that these experiences have led you to seek care elsewhere, and we wish you and your pet well with your new veterinary provider.

Fantastic experience: I was alarmed my cat Ginger stopped eating and only wanted to sleep. The vet was able to do blood, urine, and an ultra sound in one day. She asked the specialist to fit Ginger in for the ultra sound which he agreed to. Ginger is on a recovery program that I pray works for her. It is one day at a time. Very grateful to all involved in her care. Thank you

Negative experience: Just a terrible experience here. First, this was my first appointment trying to evaluate a new vet. I made an appointment with Dr Radi to get a sense of the medical director. When I got to the room, they had switched vets without telling me. I brought my cat in because he was coughing and sneezing, and his nose was closed up so he was having trouble breathing. After a $225 swab test, the vet prescribed a $130 compounded med. I got it, and tried 3 nights in a row to give it. My cat just regurgitated it up a couple minutes after administration each time. So, I called the vet to ask for guidance. I called at 8am, since I was dosing at night, I figured that would give them the whole day to get back to me. They took a message and said someone would call me back. At 4:30p, I still hadn't heard, so I called. The front desk person was very helpful, but said the vet had already GONE HOME FOR THE DAY and she had no idea. She "left some notes, though." The note suggested an anti-emetic. She thought he was getting nauseous. He wasn't. Just throwing up the meds. After 45 minutes on the phone, I asked to speak to the manager. After being on hold for 10 mins, I got, "I can't find her. I guess she went home too." Eventually, after pleading for ANYONE to talk to, as the dose was coming up. Dr Lin got on the phone. Not only was she unhelpful because "she wasn't the vet I saw" and as I was discussing options said, "well, what would YOU like to do?" And she actually said to me, "You know, things always seem more urgent than they are when it's YOUR pet". I found that outrageous. Would you say that about someone's child? Cleary, they don't really care much for your pets or have a conception of the fact pets are like children to some people. And if they do, they don't give that impression. So now it's two days later. The manager didn't call me back (despite a message for her to). The vet didn't call me back. NO ONE has called, and I'm just stuck with a sick cat having trouble breathing, with expensive medication that he can't take, and after spending $450 there to get basically nothing. I guess I'm looking for another vet to help me, or going to the ER. I personally would not trust this vet clinic with my pets again, and will look for a more compassionate clinic. ADDED: Amazing. I don't hear anything from anyone for 2 days, and an hour after leaving this review, the manager called and left a message saying she left me a message yesterday. There was no message, there was no missed call, and I was by my phone all day with a sick pet waiting for a call. If she called someone, it wasn't me. And I still have not heard from the vet on what to do for my cat either. REPLYING TO YOUR REPLY: No one called me the next day. And no message was left. Dr Lin gave me 3 options, and when I asked for a specific recommendation, she just asked me what I wanted to do. I didn't "decline". And all of them were too late to implement at 5pm. (One was to give an antiemetic to a cat not nauseated. One was "gee we could try something else" and the 3rd was " we could try to compound it differently. By 5pm it was too late to get other meds) Don't know where you heard I was trying something else, but that is inaccurate. I was waiting for a vet to ADVISE ME what, specifically is the recommended best course of action. Regardless, it's shocking to that a client would call their vet with that issue a sick cat throwing up the meds she prescribed and not being medicated, and then she'd go home for the day without replying, even through a tech or someone. Not the kind of compassion for an animal I like in vet.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we understand how upsetting it is when a pet is unwell. We truly care about your cat’s health and wellbeing, and it’s disappointing to know you left feeling unsupported. While there was a delay in returning your initial call, a veterinarian did speak with you later that same day. She reviewed the case, agreed with the original recommendations provided by the veterinarian that examined your pet, and presented several care options, which were declined. Unfortunately, here was no request noted for follow-up call from the original doctor as we understood you would be trialing a different option and would let us know if there was continued concern. Our practice manager also returned your call the following day, and again the next day, though both calls went to voicemail. We want to make things right and ensure your cat receives the care he needs. If you're open to continuing the conversation or would like further support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Practice Manager or Medical Director at 425-379-0400. We’re truly here to help.

Negative experience: This veterinary office offers online ordering for medications and frequently sends promotional emails encouraging customers to set up recurring medication subscriptions/shipments. However, when I attempted to do so, I was not allowed. I ordered a one-year supply of Simparica Trio using a promotional code that made it significantly more affordable than purchasing directly through the office. After I placed the order, they immediately called me and said they could only approve a nine-month supply - a full year would extend past my pet’s next check-up date. I thought, "if the subscription is automatic and shipped directly to the customer, why does that matter?" but agreed to it anyway. When I received the updated invoice, I saw that I was charged at a higher price point. If subscriptions, auto-ship, and bulk pricing options are advertised, they should be actually be available for customers to use. Their manual approval process is just an excuse for them to micro-manage and charge customers more.

Northwest Animal Care Hospital
Northwest Animal Care Hospital

We’re so sorry for the frustration. We’re still working through some growing pains with our new online pharmacy system. Prescription limits are based on exam dates, which we’re required to follow for your pet’s safety. We understand the promo pricing confusion was disappointing and truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We're working to make this process clearer and smoother moving forward. Please contact me directly at 425-379-0400 and I would be happy to troubleshoot or provide additional clarification. Lindsay - Practice Manager

Negative experience: *Update Sep 2025* TL:DR: Clinic now feels cold, disorganized, and transactional—no longer a place of compassionate care. I've been bringing my dog to this clinic for almost two years, but after my recent experiences, I'm seriously reconsidering continuing care here. During one weekend, I called to schedule an appointment while dealing with poor cell reception. Instead of showing patience or understanding, the receptionist was immediately rude and confrontational. I was placed on hold without warning, hung up on twice, and when I calmly said, "Please don't hang up on me—I'm just trying to get my dog seen," the staff member became defensive, raised their voice, and even laughed. As a disabled veteran with PTSD, being spoken to in such a dismissive and disrespectful manner is incredibly triggering and unacceptable. I’ve always appreciated the care my dog received from some of the veterinarians here, but this level of unprofessionalism and lack of compassion at the front desk completely overshadows that. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. The surgical vet techs have also been very pushy—more focused on collecting payment and getting paperwork signed than actually showing care for the pet or owner. When I brought my dog in for a costly procedure (over $2,000), a tech bluntly asked how much I’d be willing to spend if my dog needed to be resuscitated. This was delivered without any empathy, right as I was handing over thousands of dollars for my pet’s care. When I expressed discomfort, the tech didn’t seem to recognize the emotional weight of that moment. More recently, my dog has been seen by three different vets over multiple visits, each offering different diagnoses—with no clear direction and mounting bills (over $1,300 including a $700 biopsy). When I asked questions about this inconsistency, I was told by a vet tech that I was being rude—simply for advocating for my pet and asking for clarity. This clinic has become cold, transactional, and disorganized. What once felt like a trusted place for care now feels rushed, impersonal, and dismissive. Compassion, consistency, and professionalism are critical in veterinary care—none of which were shown in my recent experiences. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because clients and their pets deserve far better than this.

Fantastic experience: I brought my mom's fur baby in for an ear infection last week. The staff there is so nice & they were incredibly patient with my nervous Nelly sidekick. They gave her some vaccinations that were due, some antibiotics drops, some pain killers (anti-inflammatory) & trimmed her hair on her little face & ear where it was matted together from her rubbing her face on the carpet to try & fix the issue. This week she is almost back to her sour patch kid personality. Thanks ladies for helping the appointment go so smooth. Contrary to her pouty mug she was thoroughly enjoying all of the attention you were offering.

Fantastic experience: We have our first puppy so started going here. We’ve been 4 times and each visit has been a good experience for us and puppy. Fantastic experience: Our ten year old dachshund/shih tzu/poodle had a lateral suture surgery with Dr. Nashua Compton. The surgery went without a hitch and the surgeon seemed highly informed and competent. The support staff were excellent in helping our sweet little doggo recover. The ability to offer onsite hydro therapy was a huge plus. Highly recommended for torn CCL issues.

Highly recommend, wonderful service!

Negative experience: I didn’t realize they had been bought out by a corporate entity pushed to upsell their clients so much I felt like I was buying a used car! It was obvious they are all about the money and meeting their sales quotas. And what does a microchip (which my dog has) have to do with Rehab treatment? But sure, buy a package deal of sessions as it’s less expensive per session at over $1,863 but if you don’t need them all, you can’t be refunded. I will never return here.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are deeply concerned about your experience. We strive to provide the best care for our patients while balancing business needs. Our recommendations are always made with your pet's health in mind, not sales quotas, and we apologize if this wasn't clearly communicated during your visit. Negative experience: We have been going to NWACH for years. Our care and staff have been friendly and level of care is excellent! We had an appt at the vet on 6/4 to take care of the requirements for shots, etc. for her boarding visits this summer...No One told me she needed a sample until last Wednesday before via a message, we were boarding her on Thursday. So, I had to add another thing to my list while trying to go out of town and didn't have a budget for it. We have also, used their boarding facility several times...This particular time was more difficult to pick up. Since 2020 ish we have not been able to pick up on Sundays due to staff hour changes. Therefore, you are charged an extra night when you don't need it. They don't open prior to 8:00 on Monday which is not feasible if you have to be at work prior to that and if you don't pick up prior to noon you get dinged another charge. To top it off today, my daughter went to pick up at 1:00 pm when their lunch is over and still was told she would have to wait until 1:30 pm to pick up. Then she came home without her leash and collar she went in with. She is going back in 10 days and my hopes is the process is better.

Thanks so much for taking the time to speak with me directly, Mandy. Fantastic experience: I now bring Kona in for SubQ fluids when possible so the techs can do it instead of my husband since she now gets feisty when we try. All the staff are very friendly to her and they have been pretty accommodating in terms of appointments for her fluids. However, they are now short staffed which makes getting appointments much more difficult. It is so easy when we arrive as they know us & they check us in within 2 steps in the door. We have Trupanion and they bill the visit, get paid before we are out the door & I pay the balance. TO CORPORATE THRIVE: please be accommodating so they can hire someone and I can find appointments for my dog.

Negative experience: If I could give a half star I would. $2500 for a check with no findings. Very nice people who bend you over. Our dog had symptoms of bloody stool and not eating. Otherwise, acting quite normal. We took her in they performed test and requested to observe overnight. Picked her up the next morning, no findings and they gave us an antacid for digestion. Afterward, the dog was normal. When I got the bill, I called to see if it was a mistake because they really didn’t do any invasive treatment. There was a billing mistake. They had charged for three x-rays when they only did two. The final bill was about $2080. A competent practitioner would’ve been able to evaluate that the dog was in no critical need and performed fewer screenings for easily half the price. Never going back.

Our goal is always to provide the best care possible for our patients, which sometimes involves comprehensive testing to rule out serious conditions. Fantastic experience: We took our bunny, Bonita to Northwest Animal Care Hospital in Everett and had an amazing experience. There was a couple of emergencies and so that pushed our appointment back, but while we waited the staff was very attentive and gave us regular updates on when the doctor would get to us. When the doctor did end up coming in she was very kind, our bunny immediately felt comfortable with her. She was very knowledgeable about bunnies and took her time to explain everything she was doing annd answered any of our questions. Typically in situations like that when appointments are behind you expect to have the doctor be in a rush to move everybody along quickly. However, that was not the case, the doctor and her assistant took their time with us and Bonita to ensure we had the best appointment. I would definitely recommend this place to other animal owners. I couldn’t have been happier with our visit.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with Northwest Animal Care Hospital. The 4.9 star rating is legit, apart from the fact that it should be 5. My first visit was because of an emergency and my regular clinic was closed. It’s nothing against the other clinic, but I’ve never looked back! The waiting area is enormous, but the front staff is always sensitive to the fact my kitty sitting in a waiting area with dogs is very stressful. They immediately escort us into a quiet exam room to make our visit as calm as possible. Receptionists, techs, vets - all have been wonderful each and every time. I recommend them whole heartedly!

Negative experience: Docs were good at treatment but when it came to end of life, the office failed miserably. I asked for all four paw prints and a nose print for a tattoo. I received only one paw print. I called the office about this and was told they would call me back. After a couple weeks I did get a call back and the staff said they were not aware of my request. I asked several times with the last time as I was walking out the door. If the staff lies about me asking for the paw prints, what else are they willing to lie about. I won't go back

Negative experience: Bait and Switch Pricing! I got an estimate for just under $1000 for cleaning. The vet was also aware that my dog needed at least 4 extractions. I was surprised at the cost because it was much less than I had ever been quoted. The estimate said “extractions included” and had $0. When I got to the vet today for the procedure- I was told extractions were not included and what was my limit to spend of the procedure today? Why were extractions not included in the original estimate? Why did no one tell me that would be an add on? BTW- 2 months from the original estimate, the price tag had already gone up $200. Poor business and estimate practices. Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: On my first visit to N.W. Animal Care, I was given a complete tour of the premises, the surgical area, exercise areas, indoor and outdoor, the boarding areas for dogs, cats, birds and reptiles, and the exam rooms. I was very impressed with Dr. Johnson and his staff, and the compassion they show with the animals. I have been a customer now for 10 years, and when I have to go out of town I board my dog there and feel completely at ease, knowing he will be treated as if he was one of their own. While away, they e-mail me daily notes and pictures of Buster and the new friends he has made while he is there. I highly recommend Northwest Animal Care.

Negative experience: Brought the dog in because I found a bleeding wound at 6 in the morning that she had gotten at the dog park. So Plus 1 star because they got her in 2 hours after they opened - which was great. However, the good news ends there. They said they needed to keep her to knock her out, clean the wound, and put in a drainage tube. The price they quoted was $550, which seems unreasonable - I would expect to pay that at an emergency vet for wound care. This wound is about the size of a dime. They explained that it would be a couple of hours and then they would start, so realistically I could pick her up between 2pm and 5pm. At 4pm with no phone call yet, I called and was told she had been done for hours, but I couldn’t come and get her until 540pm. For no explained reason. When I arrived they cheerfully told me she had been keeping everyone in line ALL DAY LONG, and then left me in an exam room waiting by myself for 20 minutes. Why wouldn’t they let me take her home after she was awake and alert? They would not answer this, so minus 3 stars for kidnapping the dog all day and making me wait for no reason. Then when I finally got her back, they said they didn’t need to put in a drain - just a few sutures, but somehow the bill was higher even though they did less? I complained about that and they knocked it down about $100. The vet seemed good, and reasonable - but the coordination and billing staff left me feeling … wounded. Next time I’ll just go to the emergency vet - at least they work with a sense or urgency for the same amount of money.

Fantastic experience: Had 3 amazing experiences here in the last month or so. Based on other Google recommendations, I set up an appointment with Dr Logan for my leopard gecko and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, answered all our dumb questions, and got us in and out quickly. Fast appointment availability, great prices, and a really clean environment. Highly recommend and plan to switch my cats here too from a different vet that didn't show much care for them. Hoping for the same top tier experience with that as well. Thank you! Update: Brought in 2 of our cats this month and had an equally great experience! Dr Compton and Dr Lin were very knowledgeable and open to many questions/concerns we had. All the techs we've worked with are also super friendly. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Nice clean, bright, friendly place. However, not very helpful with my rats with respiratory infections. Had an appt for one (brought the other sick one as company, and was hoping he would be seen too so I wouldn't have to stress them out again from the 40 minute car ride) but was told to come back the next day with the other. Needed antibiotics. Got some, and was told they would be refilled without bringing them back. Brought in second rat, again, the next day. Got (allegedly) the same antibiotics, however the amount was much different than the first rat (both weighed the same as far as dosing) and the color was a bit different. Gave as directed. No change, and there was not enough to dose them 2X a day for 2-3 weeks. Asked for refills - was again told to BRING them BACK to be seen, even though I was told at both appts that I could get refills without bringing them back. Extremely disappointed. This is the closest vet to me that will see rats, and it's still too far. I had such high hopes, but another 500.00 is out of the question, when all I need is refills. Since then my other 2 rats have come down with the same thing, and of course they want appts for each of those rats too. I guess this will be my last round of rescued pet rats, after 45 years.

Fantastic experience: Every time I have gone to Northwest since my dog was a puppy we have been treated well. These past two times we have seen Dr. Guillen. She is AMAZING! There was something wrong with my dog and we found out it was blockage she did everything in her power to get us the help we needed that day to get my dog to feeling better! We went back for a check up too after the surgery. We are very happy with the way we were treated. If you're having problems with your pet, trust that Dr. Guillen will take care of them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never received actual veterinary care here, but the staff were very kind and respectful when i took my dog to be cremated. It was the most affordable cremation I could find and was surprised when i also received many keepsakes of my boy, along with his ashes. A baggie of his fur, nose & paw prints, and of course his urn were included. I am so thankful for them being able to do the cremation the same day i called. If anyone reading this happens to speed in their car a lot, please do not. It cost my baby his life.

Negative experience: Friendly staff but in the past year this place has turned into a money grab! They went from being a local vet to being a unionized facility. They charge a tech fee for their employees to do their job. For example a nail trim is $45, $25 for the trim and $20 for their tech fee. On top of that this place will not sign off for any prescriptions because they are a money grab! I found a flea pill which covers fleas/ heart worm 1/3 of their price but they won’t approve until after we get another heart worm test which we did under a year ago. Isn’t that the point of the medication…

Fantastic experience: I've been using this vet for years and they have always been so gentle and kind to both me and my animals. I've had the blessing of having a number of animals to the end of their life and the entire time I was never made to feel guilty or ashamed for my animals health, and weather I had to bring a body that had passed or bring my pet in for euthanasia it was handled slowly and with great respect for my animals dignity in final moments and the safe place to openly grieve the loss. I will forever trust this vet hospital for absolutely any of my pets needs for the rest of my life

Positive experience: I took one star off because we had to wait for almost 30 minutes, even though we had an appointment scheduled and arrived on time. That's okay with us to wait, but our kitty was nervous. Dr. Logan and his assistant were great, though. He paid attention to our concerns, and he was gentle with our cat. We started treatment right away and already saw improvement.

We greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for the extended wait time you encountered during your visit. We understand that waiting can be stressful, especially for nervous pets. We're glad to hear that Dr. Logan and his assistant provided excellent care for your kitty and addressed your concerns. Positive experience: Dr. Logan and Jada ( office ) are very kind and professional , they take the time to explain everything, they give options to consider when scheduling an appointment. The others......not so much. They are rude, snippy, condescending when talking with them on the phone or in person. I gave 3 stars because of the other staff attitudes, they are not doing me a favor going there, I am doing them a favor so they should work on their people skills. Price wise, they did raise it, they should've contacted their clientele to notify price increases. Given that we'll be searching for another Vet so we don't have to take out a mortgage for our furbabies to be seen.

We're concerned to hear about your experience with some of our staff members. We appreciate your positive feedback about Dr. Logan and Jada, and we're glad they were able to provide you with professional and caring service. Negative experience: My son’s dogs go to this vet. Currently, son has medical expenses and can’t afford the hundreds of dollars for a check up for his otherwise healthy dogs. Asked for a prescription for flea meds, because we got fleas all of a sudden. NOPE! come for a visit, or no flea meds for you. The docs do this for his insulin as well. Seems like their true concern is for the pocketbook - not your pets.

Negative experience: Great doctors but something is lacking in the training of the techs. For a quick blood draw they wrapped my cats leg several times with a huge sticky athletic wrap bandage that was terribly difficult to remove. We had to hire a mobile vet to come twice but she couldn't get it off. Had to go buy a sedative and keep trying over three days until we finally were able to cut it all off. I've never seen a bandage applied for a quick blood test. Usually they just hold a cotton ball to the area for a minute and done. This caused our family unnecessary stress. We will never go back. If they are going to apply a bandage at least provide a tab so it can be pulled to make removal easier.

We sincerely regret to hear about your negative experience with our clinic. We appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the blood draw procedure and the difficulty you encountered with the bandage removal. We value your input and will use it to enhance our patient care procedures.

Positive experience: Dr. Logan is very kind and compassionate. The technicians are very helpful. Any chance you can tell your dog owners to shy away from the cat owners? It's so incredibly stressful for cats and they don't want any dogs or other animals near them. Very long wait this morning but it was due to two emergencies. Also, keeping voices (in work area) a little quiet while animals are in exam rooms would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for years and have seen a multitude of different vets and always had generally good experiences. Recently we went in because our dog suddenly went blind, Dr. Greer (apologies if we misspelled) and her entire team went above and beyond to help us feel supported. Our dog is big (70+ lbs) and understandably stressed out navigating the world with this new loss of vision; I did what I could to help him but could not have gotten through the appointment without the kindness and support of Dr Greer and her team. They helped me get Sammy checked in, and helped keep him extra comfortable and loved through all of the routine checks, they had another team member come to him to draw blood to keep Sammy from having to try and navigate their back room. They were all kind, understanding, listened to everything I said without judgement, and made the appointment one of the best experiences we’ve had here. We’ll keep coming back ☺️

Negative experience: Very dissatisfied with the vet here. $800 and she didn't even figure out what was wrong with my cat. About $500 of that was for an X-ray, and $200 of that was to send it to somebody else who was qualified to examine it, because the vet isn't qualified to read it? The X-ray lead to nothing, so that was a complete waste of time. Then there was $90+ for pain medicine (cat wasn't in pain), antacid, and anti-nausea medicine. These didn't help, because the cat wasn't eating, so can't get the medicine down. She actually wanted to charge me $1000, just to get my cat vaccinated for things she said were overdue while I was there. The gall of some people. Just get that money however you can. I figured out the issue on my own. I'd given the cat 1 leaf of fresh catnip at a time, over the course of a few days, which she ate. After a few days, she started throwing up, and lost her appetite. I told the Vet this info, yet somehow that didn't ring a bell, and she suggested a very expensive X-RAY?!?! She went to school for this? Now cat is 100% fine, eating normally, no thanks to the Vet. $800 for unskilled guessing that lead to nothing. I consider that an unethical way to run a business.

Fantastic experience: I love how friendly and helpful the Staff is at Northwest Animal Care Hospital. Both of my cats are indoor cats and do not go outside at all unless I am right there. So when I have to take them in for checkups, they are quite apprehensive. But the staff help me get them calm and they become almost as they are at home. They get a little skittish during the exams, but calm down after a short time.

Fantastic experience: I had been going to Diamond Veterinary Hospital for almost 30 years. Unfortunately 3 of the Veterinarians I'd seen for all of the 7 cats I had during those years retired within about 1 year. Then I moved a short distance away and I'm 4 blocks from NW Animal Hospital. I brought the only cat I have now to the Clinic for vaccines and a thorough exam. I felt the staff to be friendly, caring and helpful. The Physician (Dr. Gurinn) (spelling?) did a thorough exam, asked important questions, and I never felt rushed but felt she was genuinely concerned about my cats health. Good experiences thus far!

Positive experience: Vets were nice enough and met my dogs anxiety with kindness. However there was poop on the floor from the previous clients when we walked in which tells us that the room was not disinfected between animals, and that can be very dangerous when working with sick animals. We were also told not to use products suggested by other vets and wouldn't provide explanation just that we had to spend a ton of money on their treatments. Also was told my dog was underweight? I went to see a canine nutritionist because of this only to be told my dog is in amazing condition? Yeah I think I'll go elsewhere.

Natalie_and_Jackie S-J Posted on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: Good pet care, but very pricey, and their "your pet is due" auto-reminders are totally inaccurate and the business doesn't care. My pets have always been well treated here and people are nice. I get a different vet nearly every time it seems, so we never really "get to know" any of the vets personally. What really frustrates me is their system auto-emails you "your pet is overdue" for health maintenance and there's a button to schedule, so I did that. Then I'm literally in the car on my way there (having wrangled my cat into a carrier and taken time off work) and they say "actually she's not due for 2 months". When I point out that THEY emailed ME, their dismissive answer is "those come from corporate, we have no control over that." Well, umm.. somebody has control over it. Figure it out. Figure out your system and take some accountability for it so that customers aren't wasting their time and money on inaccurate information. The person on the phone was very snippy and rude, "well you can come in or not, I don't know what to tell ya." Umm... tell me you understand that it's not acceptable to be sending customers inaccurate overdue reminders and that someone is working on correcting it.

Negative experience: So disappointed in this vet clinic. We had an emergency situation with our dog and we’re rushing to make a last minute appointment. When we hit traffic we called to inform them we would be about 10 minutes late for the appointment. Upon walking in to an empty waiting room we were told since we were 2 minutes past their grace period our dog would have to wait several hours before she could be seen. Needless to say we will no longer be utilizing the services of this clinic.

Negative experience: Had to reschedule an appointment. Life happens. Put in the new appointment more than a week out, understandable. Asked for a refill on my dogs medication and they said not until I came in for the appointment. Not even a weeks worth of medication for my dogs discomfort. They would rather have my dog in discomfort for a week vs a 5 minute appointment for a medication or giving a week's worth of medicine. There were ways to help, but they were dismissive and cold to my requests. Found another vet that will pull records and do a 5 minute check on the needs. It is just allergy medication. They never checked with the vet on this.
