Fantastic experience: Very caring staff always take excellent care of my two cats. Update: Last year one of our senior cats passed away. Earlier this month our other senior cat also passed away. The veterinarians at Laguna Creek, as well as all of the other staff, were very kind both to our cats and to us as we made the heartbreaking decision for euthanasia. They are an extremely kind and gentle group of people and I would never hesitate to bring a pet here for care.

Fantastic experience: A long overdue review for Dr. Purewal. Check in was easy and administration was very friendly and helpful. Dr Purewal was super helpful and took wonderful care of my dogs, also helping to clean one of my dog’s wounds wound. The wound has since healed perfectly with the help of an e-collar. I am super happy to recommend Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here since 1991 I think and no matter where I live I would go nowhere else I will always take my babies there. They have a lovely staff and a doctors are wonderful

Fantastic experience: My dogs loves this place. She always wants to run in and is high energy for a 14 year old lab/pit mix when she is there as she is always so excited to go! She just can’t wait to get in there. Vets take the time and are empathetic, kind and will take the time you need to discuss options and alleviate concerns. The receptionists are amazing and even helped me get rebate on an expensive líbrela shot my dog needs every month so it’s not that expensive. My dog loves the tech employees probably the best as they give her a treat and belly rubs so she doesn’t even notice getting her monthly shots. Nothing negative and they are reasonable priced considered to other abets I have been to. Vets also will be up front of costs and will suggest not doing something because it’s expensive and won’t do much if the diagnosis is something they can’t fix due to age or other concerns. I find this refreshing that they are not just pushing certain texts or imagining to gain money but what’s best for the dog and your wallet.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Laguna Creek since 2019. We have used multiple vets in the past, never very satisfied with the level of care, but have not even tried looking for a new vet since we started coming here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. When we have health concerns with any of our dogs, they are very accommodating to get us in as soon as possible. We might have an issue with adopting too many dogs, but Laguna Creek continues to provide top level of care for all of them. Even though we moved much further away, we still keep coming here.

Fantastic experience: We've been bringing our dog to Laguna Creek veterinary for the last few years and have nothing but positive feedback. Our dog had a cyst two years ago and went through surgery with no issues. They treat him really well there. Most recently, my dog got sick after we boarded him and Dr. Van Doren took amazing care of our dog. She followed up multiple times and made him feel so loved during the visit. I appreciate how thorough and compassionate the staff and docs are at this place.

Fantastic experience: I want to change my review. At first I said it was "pricey" but that's because I'm on a fixed budget, and have to save, so pretty much everythingis pricey to me. Lol . The staff is friendly and helpful and I feel that when I take our cats there, that they will be in good hands. I have taken my can to another vet before, and they were kinda rough with the cat and seemed rushed and uncaring. I will continue to take my kitty to Laguna Creek. :)

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here with our dogs for over 20 years. They compassionately helped us with end of life care for our 16 and 14 year old Labs and now care for our little Schnauzers. The front office staff is always so nice and it's obvious they truly love animals. I needed to get vaccination certifications for my two dogs and they provided them with a smile. The vet we saw this time was one we had never seen before but she was very attentive and knowledgeable with our "senior" dogs. We feel that our "babies" are well looked after by the entire team at Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Took My dog here to see if he can can get an operation done. After doing annual exam and bloodwork , they told me issue that can happen that might not be good for dog and better to treat first. Prize seem reasonable compare to other place and its near my house. I like that they really think of the animal in this sense and not jist do opration for the heck of it.

Phone calls are always answered quickly. Doctors are always fast and to the point but in no way rude or anything. Technician appointments are always in and out which is great.

Negative experience: Best vet practice in town. The pride of an independently owned small business really shines thru with great doctors and a happy staff. It even smells good! Update: 1/27/23 Sadly, their primary focus has become promoting covid-19 hysterics. It's obnoxious, demeaning, completely unnecessary and absolutely detracts from quality of care. I won't be back until they stop this nonsense.

Fantastic experience: This is a small neighbor clinic. I’ve gone to a lot of them in my neighbor over the past 30 years and Dr Layton is one of the best. Others feel the same which is what led me to changing vets for hopefully the last time.

Fantastic experience: Kane is notorious for being difficult when his nails have to be trimmed. He’s been banned for a couple of groomers for being a biter but they got him done in less than 5 minutes, I was so impressed! I had back to back appointments for my two dogs and we were on our way home in 40min even with the unexpected nail appointment.

Positive experience: I ha to have a cat putdown a couple of years ago, the staff were very helpful and professional. I just got two dogs after several years without pets. Once we decided to find a Vet this was a no brainer we came back to Laguna Creek Vet. There first checkup was the same as I remembered them very helpful and professional, Also they didn't try to up sell me on anything that's very rare now days. most vet just up sell everything and try to guilt you into everything. Laguna Creek isn't that way, I highly recommend them.

Positive experience: This is 3rd annual dental cleaning. Prior cleanings had been without any reactions or adverse effects. This most recent one Kujo had some unusual reactions but has pretty much returned to usual behavior by the 2nd night. The team is always professional and caring. Appreciate your expertise and experience.

Fantastic experience: I love laguna creek veterinary clinic. I've had 3 dogs treated by Dr Purewal and he has been wonderful with all three. He is so caring. My latest dog was having problems and Dr Purewal found that she needed additional care. Luckily she was sent to UCD Small Veterinary Hospital and my Mollie had a pacemaker implanted and thanks to Dr Purewal I expect to have her around for several more years. You couldn't ask for more. Dr Purewal is the BEST!!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my dogs to Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital for two years after having had a terrible experience with my previous vet. All three doctors at this practice are incredibly professional, very transparent, and are great at making sure both the animals and their owners are comfortable. The veterinary technicians and front lobby staff have a genuine love of animals, which shows in the meticulous individual care they show both to the clients and their pets. They do not overbook clients at this practice--I've never had to spend hours waiting for my appointment to begin. Pricing is very fair for everything from the cost of services to medications and vaccinations. Unlike my previous vet, the staff at Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital has never tried to upsell me on unnecessary tests or services. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I used to go to VCA Bradshaw, but man is their service trash. Do the people there even care about animals? And this was before COVID ruined Customer Service. But Laguna Creek is so good and caring. They’re all very personable and understanding. And most importantly they take really good care of my pets. I wish this was a 24 hour place, but other than that, this place is phenomenal and I recommend it to anyone in the area… or even not in the area!

Fantastic experience: I have only had one appointment with them so far, a wellness check for my puppy. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to come into the exam room with my puppy. Dr. Layton was very relaxed and non-judgmental. They helped me set up a new appointment right away. My puppy and I felt very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I've been so pleased with my switch to this veterinary hospital. They are friendly and have been so helpful. I was thrilled that they have a vet 'on call' after hours and that I was actually able to access this perk when my dog got sick... it saved me so much money from having to go to an emergency clinic on a Sunday morning. While I have only been using LCVH for a few months now with my puppy, so far it has been wonderful!

Fantastic experience: This vet is awesome! I don't trust any other vet with my pets - I have been going here for about 5 years, my parents have gone to them for almost 10. They are accommodating and helpful. I can get quick exams in a timely manner and have taken my dog for emergencies when she was vomiting nonstop and another time when she had an allergic reaction to medication. They listen to your questions and concerns and are nice and helpful. I know they have been so busy lately but I never have felt like I was rushed out and I don't feel like they have ever taken advantage of me, in fact, they have been very honest and generous. They are transparent about costs and different treatment options and medications. They are just great and I feel lucky my pets have them!

My guinea pig was very sick, and I felt like Dr. Van Doren was really able to tell me a lot about her and helped get me the medicine I needed. Fantastic experience: We were first introduced to Laguna Creek Vet Hospital in 2018, when our dog had an eye infection. Previously, we had utilized services from the typical "doc in the box - chain clinic" type vet. Unfortunately, after having had many experiences with varying degrees of customer service, response times, and a constant stream of diagnostic appointments each conveniently laced with their own unique service charge, we needed to make a change. I understand the rent needs to be paid, but wow....it felt like we were paying for the vets to “learn as they go” – it was ridiculous! After about $1,000 in follow up visits and no answers, we elected to go elsewhere! Dr. Layton at LCVH was able to get us an appointment within a few days, despite their busy schedule. After about 30 minutes, she diagnosed the issue, dispelled the myths and scare tactics that had previously been employed by others, assuaged our concerns and gave us a prescription. This is a very busy clinic and usually there's a wait time on getting appointments. However, they're really good about getting you in as soon as possible, especially for emergencies. The staff is always friendly and professional - including Ray. Truth be told, she probably needs roller-skates as fast as she's going, at least when we're in there. You may be able to find cheaper clinics and/or something closer to home, but I would highly recommend visiting them if you're looking for a new vet. Great staff, clean office and exam rooms, and straight answers to your questions! Thank you LCVH!

Fantastic experience: The office staff is always as helpful as they are cheerful and supportive. Dr. Van Doren and all the other vets who I've met there have been exceptional, which is why I drive from Sacramento to bring my cats and dogs to them for care. My animals have always received excellent care here. The vets are informative, non-judgmental, and thorough. Our previous vet completely missed a large brain tumor in one of our dogs. I knew something was not right, his face looked wrong, and the vet picked up on it right away. She was compassionate and helped to ensure that he had the best pain management. I've always left feeling informed and respected and never taken advantage of. No pressure for unnecessary tests, just information and advice so that I can make the best choice for my pets.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital are AMAZING. They have always taken great care of my cats at their appointments. They are very informative and never push you to get something you don’t need, they also try and help you save costs as much as they can. Both Doctors are extremely professional and use personal experience to help first time pet owners make decisions.
