Fantastic experience: Dr. Fisher is a fantastic veterinarian. She is very thorough in her exams and extremely competent. You can trust that she will be upfront and honest in her assessments. My family and I have been bringing our fur babies to her for over 10 years now. She takes her time to answer questions in detail and makes sure that you understand all of your options. My husband is in the military, so we had to travel quite a bit and I have NEVER been as comfortable with a veterinarians practice as I am at Lockridge Animal hospital with Dr. Fisher. The practice does a fantastic job, all of the vet techs are wonderful, and I highly recommend Dr. Fisher to take care of your family.

Fantastic experience: I found Lockridge animal hospital to be a wonderful place. My cat got excellent care. He needed to have some testing done and I was reassured that he was in good hands. He is now having some other issues and the vet just called with results.

Fantastic experience: The lobby was so nice, it was separated for dogs and cats which was genius. The vet was so kind and welcoming, no one made me feel like I wasnt doing enough for my pet or I was a bad owner (which i def experienced before.)

Negative experience: Lasy night, 12/4, i returned a call from lockridge asking how my cat was doing. When i returned the call, it was answered by a woman that was unnecessarily hostile. When she answered, i said i was returning a call about my cat, and she said "umm okay??" And then asked who i was with a huge attitude. When asked what my cats name was, i said kibble and she completely ignored it and then asked for my name, and then asked for my cats name a second time. I told her he hadnt eaten since he had been seen, and she immediately started barking at me that i need to take him to an ER vet, even though the entire internet will tell you that a loss if appetite is normal for a day or 2 after such a large dose of dewormer. This discourages me from using this verterinarian in the future, as now i feel too embarrassed to even go in there after the way i was talked down to. I've had good experiences here with my pets, aside from how expensive they are here, but I think its time I found a new provider for my animals, I've never been treated like im unwanted by someone im paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to. My cat is eating just fine as of this morning, so thanks for trying to get me to spend way more money on an ER visit for no reason.

Fantastic experience: Pup LOVES this place. Everyone is so loving and professional. They were the absolutely amazing when we lost our 13 year old dog and two years later they're fabulous with our puppy.

They go above and beyond to make sure that you and your pet are comfortable, and make it seem like you are the most important during your time with them (even if they have other patients). They are always so kind, informative, and helpful, and this was the case this time as well! I will always bring my pets here.

Fantastic experience: Lockridge Animal Hospital staff are always so kind to me and my dogs. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why. We recently rescued a slightly vet-reactive dog, and Lockridge has been great in working to help find what works best for him. Highly recommend these amazing people! I also love that they have a cat specific side and a dog specific side for waiting. There usually is only one other dog in the waiting area at the same time, if that.

Fantastic experience: I love this vet office! I have gone here 3 times for my cat. I'll be transferring my dogs here the next time they need a check in too. This is the only vet I have gone to that doesn't try to sell me things we don't need. Every vaccine the vet encourages or discourages is based on my cat's specific home environment and medical history. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and appointments are easy to schedule.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Lockridge, from front desk, techs, all the way to the vets, are always very thorough, personal, compassionate, and go out of their way to help. There have been numerous occasions where i have called same-day for an urgent issue, and they have made space and saved me and my dog both the cost and hours of waiting at an emergency vet. Vets always present multiple options for treatment, if there are multiple options, and provide support no matter what option the guardian chooses. I also have noticed when expensive tests are involved, they offer, or are happy to provide, estimates ahead of time. Unfortunately, many times, cost can be a huge decision influencer, so I hugely appreciate this upfront transparency. I have had one dog going to Lockridge for years, through their end of life, and i cant express how much their kindness and concern, and personal treatment helped me navigate my dog's final steps, something I had never done before, with the most care and composure possible. The staff at Lockridge help make what is often some of the most difficult times, just a little bit easier to breathe through.

Fantastic experience: I've been to several vets over the years and I am so incredibly impressed with Lockridge. Unfortunately my sister and I were in a position that we had to find a new vet rather quickly and a friend recommended Lockridge. They were so right. The staff from the receptionists/intake personnel to the vet techs and veterinarians are friendly, competent, quick with a smile or laugh, but also genuine in their compassion and care. I'm glad we found them and I strongly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My pup does well here. The Veternaruins and staff members are all very polite as well as professional. They have a restroom in the waiting room. There's plenty of outside areas for your pet to roam around or to use the bathroom. Plenty of parking. My dog is treated wonderful from the time we walk in til we walk out.

Fantastic experience: I started my two dalmatians seeing Dr. Macamn n in 2000 all the way until 2010. He is an amazing Vet and truly cares for your pet. I would score 100 stars if I could. My dals lived for 18 years. I have moved to FL and KS and MO. And have not found a vet even close to the way he is and how his demeanor is. Fantastic experience: Lockridge staff actually genuinely care and aren't burnt out yet. They are kind, thorough and patient, even with my super anxious dog. Normally we have to sedate for vet visits, but she's able to go without sedation as long as one of us is with her. Our other pup loves the staff and gets excited for the attention

Positive experience: Took my baby girl to let her go. Vet tech was kind of nasty. She made me feel guilty for doing what was best. Saying my kitty looked healthy. My cat was 12 and in a lot of pain. She said my cat was walking fine. My cat was crouching her back end downward she couldn't stand straight up due to pain. Vet was amazing though she understood and explained what would happen I like the Vet not so much the vettech

Fantastic experience: This wonderful place has always taken such good care of my precious little fur baby. The staff are amazing and really go the extra mile to ensure your pet feels as safe and as comfortable as possible. My kitty loves them, and I've never experienced any bad moments from Lockridge. I can't say whether the pricing is fair, as that's subjective to each individual but I've never felt that I was being overcharged for any services (and realistically they're working with patients who cannot verbally express what is wrong so I'm willing to pay if it keeps my baby safe and healthy). Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I left VCA Daniel Webster vet because they were not following the 30 day FDA approved drug protocol,and my cat was suffering. They kept using the LAME excuse they were short handed.When I left Lockridge,I had my next appointment as the protocol requires. I:m happy I switched vets,and I would advise anyone who goes to VCA Daniel Webster for recurring treatment to switch as well

Fantastic experience: I brought my kitten who hasn't been feeling so good today. It was my first visit as a pet owner myself. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was very friendly, very welcoming, and they did an excellent job explaining everything. They handled my pet with care.

Negative experience: I will not be bringing my dog here again. We got a 2nd puppy, and wanted to try a new vet closer to home as our current vet is in Bedford. Our first appointment here went well, but today we went in to get a shot booster (after his normal $300 appointment 1 week ago) and because they ripped his nail off it was $200. He broke a nail last night, it bled, I consulted an emergency vet who told me to use cornstarch, and just let it heal. It would fall off on its own and just keep an eye out for infection (all of which we told them). Lockridge said it was no big deal, they’d just pull it off, and then charged $230 for that alone, with a $100 discount. When I called and said it would have been nice to know up front I was told that we should have asked before they did it. Not to mention he previously got into some chocolate and I called them about it and they instructed me to call poison control and pay $85. I called an emergency vet, they asked how much he had, and that he would be fine. All set on this kind of service. Go to the VCA in Bedford!

Fantastic experience: Macy always gets the very best care at Lockridge...outstanding staff, everyone there is very professional and compassionate...they truly love what they do!

Negative experience: All of the staff were friendly and helpful and kind to myself and my daughter and our new puppy. Prices were also slightly lower than another veterinarian I called and they got us in the very next week after I called. Update after a year going here - ALWAYS ask for an estimate before going to the appointment. They will tell you your pet is due for one thing and then charge you $400 dollars to be seen. Not an exaggeration. They also offer discounts on monthly medications but when you ask for those discounts to be applied, they always have a reason they can’t do it. Then they get rude on the phone after you want to know why every visit costs $400 dollars.

Fantastic experience: Penny Lou always gets the best of care with Dr. Fisher she is wonderful and treats both the parents and pets excellent. Every visit Penny Lou has with Dr. FISHER she is so excited to see her and she loves her so much ❤️ she wiggles so much with excitement even when getting blood drawn. Fantastic experience: Such a great place! My family and I have been using lock ridge for over 25 years. Recently my 20 year old cat bacon was sick. Not eating and not like herself. So I made the hard call to lock ridge to set up an appointment to bring her in and see what was wrong. Once i told them her age and my concerns they were able to take us within an hour. Upon bringing her in, the doctor, assistant, and myself decided to try meds to see if bacon would get better. The care and affection lock ridge gave bacon was something I've never seen. Very gentle and caring of her. They even called every few days for a week after the visit. Asking about her and if she was getting better. I am very happy to say the meds worked! And bacon is back to her normal self. Thank you to Lock Ridge and the staff for going above and beyond their jobs!

Fantastic experience: This animal hospital is wonderful. Very clean and professional with cute decor, and the staff are so kind and compassionate. My kitty had mouth surgery here and I was very anxious, and they let me ask any questions beforehand, and reassured me of their safety measures. Dr. McCammon is very thorough, matter-of-fact, and seems to always take the time to speak to pet owners. One of my cats died very suddenly, and he came out of surgery to give us his condolences when we brought him in to be cremated. They also offer financing through scratchpay, which was so helpful. They also gave my kitty a certificate of bravery after his surgery. Very cute!

Fantastic experience: Our family started at LAH over 50 years ago. We were so loyal that even after moving forty-five minutes away, we still went to LAH. We were concerned when the practice was sold but we couldn't be happier with the new doctors. They have been patient, compassionate, and simply wonderful with our cats. Even though we have since lost our cat family from the Dr. Lockridge days, we continue as clients because we know that our cats are getting the most progressive and thoughtful care possible. I can't recommend highly enough this practice for your animals. We continue to rely on Lockridge Animal Hospital for the care for our two, new beloved cats.

Fantastic experience: We have been using Lockridge since 1998. Is there a cheaper place, probably. But I don't believe there is a more caring, compassionate or happy place. Our first dog had multiple issues and they took such good care of all of us, right up to & including his trip over the rainbow bridge. Now we have Mr. Gibbs and he is 15, and doing well. Dr. McCammon is the one he does best with so I hope he is around as long as our Gibbs. So YES we love this place and think they are worth their weight in gold. All the staff is awesome!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr McNamara and the rest of the staff have been wonderful to my cat over the years. After 18 years we had to put her down on the first of the month. It was handled with care, dignity, and grace. I held her the whole time, and they sent us home with an imprint of her paws as well as her body. We buried her in the backyard with her sister who passed away about 5 years ago. The staff who knew her even came in to say their own goodbyes.

Fantastic experience: My Puggle has gone to Lockridge Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. She is now 15 1/2 years old. I always follow their plans for her to be in good health. When her care is out of the ordinary, I am given paperwork that states what the fees will be. Being a senior dog, I understand I will be paying more for tests, etc. But I am willing to do this to catch any problems early. Lucy is a happy, healthy dog that gives her family enormous joy!! She’s cared for at Lockridge where I think they will help me keep her for years to come. Thank you! Lucy is loving life and appreciates the care she gets at Lockridge!! My beloved Lucy lived a great life for over 16 years! I give all the credit to Lockridge for their incredible care!! Five weeks after her passing, I adopted a 6 year old Puggle from Alabama. Oops, she's a chihuahua but I love her just the same!! Of course I would never trust my Gracie to another animal hospital!! Looking for to her living past 16 years as well!! Would never go anywhere else! I love my dogs and only trust Lockridge to take care of them!! I've been there many times with my Gracie. I met Olivia yesterday. She was BEYOND kind and professional. Alexis goes above & BEYOND as well. I trust Lockridge 100% with my beloved Gracie!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: This is an EXTRAORDINARY Veterinary practice. I can't use too many superlatives about this group of Vets and their staff. My dogs (and cats prior) have been going to Lockridge Animal Hospital for approximately 17 years, and to say that the care they – and we (my husband and I) receive is exemplary doesn't begin to tell the story of how much I believe in this group of individuals. The care they give goes well beyond what you would expect from any practice. Our dog, Jesse became critically ill three years ago during a time we had to be away due to a family wedding. We received updates on Jesse’s progress two and three times a day and this made an extremely stressful situation so much more bearable. All of the doctors – Dr. Richard, Dr. McCammon, Dr. Carey, Dr. Fisher and Dr. Cornell all followed her progress closely. I had no doubt they were all treating her as one of their own family. Finally, they take whatever time is necessary to complete an exam and I (or my dogs) have never been rushed through an appointment. My questions are always answered and concerns addressed. Their follow through and compassion is outstanding - and extraordinary. They ALWAYS return phone calls - and make off-hours follow-up calls subsequent to treatment. I know that all the doctors know my pets thoroughly, and care for them as well. Furthermore, they have taken the time to know me and my husband, so that we are never a "number" on a chart, but more like a member of the family. The front office staff and techs are also absolutely amazing; professional, friendly, knowledgeable and wonderfully compassionate. This is a great group of caring, nurturing veterinarians, vet techs and front office staff. If you love your pet, you should take them to Lockridge.

Fantastic experience: I have referred a few to Lockridge over the years! They have been caring for my pups since 2018, mostly well visits until recently. I got some really bad news recently regarding my younger dog’s kidney health. I’m currently a full time nursing student without a steady income, and Dr. Hinz was able to work with me to find options that would work for us financially. She has always been cognizant of this with their care. Special thanks to Becky who quickly worked to get some extra help into the office to get my baby checked out, and stayed with her during her procedure to make sure she was comfortable when she knew I was nervous dropping her off. Alexis has been fabulous as well over the years, the pups love her. Thank you all; your kindness, patience and compassion does not go unnoticed.

Fantastic experience: We got a new puppy and going to the vet during Covid is a weird new experience. i was worried not being able to go in with my little guy, but the techs were so friendly, the vet answered all my questions and they even prepared new puppy welcome packets. A couple days later they called as the pup needed a round of antibiotics, and as a new dog mom I was worried but they put my mind at ease. It very apparent they truly are animal lovers!

Fantastic experience: We recently got a new puppy and found this place and I am so happy we did. They truly care about your pets and treat them as your children. We recently had an appointment scheduled that was just suppose to be a monthly puppy check, but they changed it very last minute to an acute visit when we called and reported something wrong with our boy. They told us to come right in and took him early. When we got there, they immediately came out to get him, we had barely even checked in. When he needed fluids, they gave us the option of taking him in the back to do it or doing it right in the exam room which I thought was awesome. They are so accommodating and informative, but never pushy. The front staff are always kind which is actually why I ended choosing the place. I had called a few vets asking to get a new puppy appt and the woman I spoke to at Lockridge was so bubbly. It’s nice to have a place we can confidently bring our puppy and know he is in good hands and that we will always be greeted with a smile. It’s also clean and in a nice area of Manchester, which is always a plus.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is amazing. From the front desk to the techs to the doctors, all amazing. I drive two hours to bring my boy, who I don’t trust with anyone, to see everyone here. Thank you for taking such good care of him always and for putting up with me when I’m an overbearing helicopter dog mom.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are kind and knowledgeable. I always receive a call reviewing tests and options. They always follow through. Animal care is expensive anywhere but here I know my animals have received the best care for the last 20 years!

Fantastic experience: I moved to a different state and am still trying to use their services for as long as I can! My cat is older and has developed some new tummy issues and has had some illness flare-ups. I have gotten immediate, and thorough examinations for him every single time I ask for them. AND every time I call with a concern, absolutely anxious out of my mind, they answer that same day and give me good advice. If your cat is struggling with anything I seriously recommend this place, these doctors are the best ive found and they are so diligent

Fantastic experience: My cat and I went for our first visit and would definitely recommend Lockridge! The visit was quick so not a lot of waiting around. The assistant got us in the room in a very short amount of time and the vet came in soon after. Both of them were kind and extremely gentle with my kitty.They explained everything that needed to be done thoroughly and discussed cost before doing anything(which was actually super reasonable!) I will absolutely be taking all of my pets here from now on!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my pets to Lockridge Animal Hospital since 1995. My pets (dog and cats) have had and still have the very best care from them. Dr McCammon, Dr Richards, Dr Fisher… and the techs always give 100% ++++. I am so very blessed my babies get the best care. The front desk staff are great too. Fantastic experience: I love everyone of the staff at Lockridge. They are so caring, kind, and understanding. My cat Abby is not the friendliest, but they are so gentle with her. They are the absolute best!

Fantastic experience: We bring our nervous, nippy chihuahuas to Lockridge Animal Hospital for everything from nail clipping, immunizations, and yearly exams. The staff are thorough, considerate of our dogs' nervousness, and get the job done without freaking our pups out a ton. Pricing isn't astronomical. Tons of parking, puppy poo poo area conveniently located off of parking lot, and they are right off the highway! Just want to update: we still bring our chihuahuas here, recently one of them had dentistry. She was so well cared for, the staff genuinely care about our girls! They have curbside drop off and pick up. You call to make an appointment in advance, on the day of pull up and call to tell them you are there. Staff wearing masks and gloves come out to pick up your pet and bring them in for their appointment. You wait in the parking lot, or go home if it will be an all day appointment like ours was. Once your furry family member is ready they call you to come pick up. You can pay online. They bring your pet out when you call to say you have arrived. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but not long at all. We’ve felt super safe! Highly recommend Lockridge Animal Hospital and all of their staff!

Negative experience: My 5 year old dog went in sick 9:30 am and spent most of the day costing $1300. at Lockridge animal hospital. They sent her home at 3pm she died 5 hours later. I will never ever bring another animal there again. She was there for every checkup plus many more. And still she is dead at 5 years old. Heartbreaking loss. My beautiful baby girl.

Fantastic experience: Lockridge is amazing! My cat has GI issues, he gets constipation and it becomes harder for him to use the litter box. I bring him here and they always take great care of him. They make follow up calls just to make sure he is okay. I really appreciate their care..all the staff is amazing and friendly and they seem to love what they do…my baby Aaron is back to his normal now…thank you Lockridge!! 5*

Fantastic experience: We just got a puppy. When we brought him for a health check, everyone we dealt with was very nice, answered all our questions, gave us lots of information, and helped us set up future appointments. We left feeling very confident to give our puppy everything he needed.

Negative experience: Quoted me over $1000 to get my small dog spayed. I nearly died when I saw the quote. In my experience working at other animal hospitals, that is extremely overpriced. Can I afford it? Yes. Do I want to pay that price when I know I can get the procedure done cheaper somewhere else? Heck no. They obviously need to make up for the tremendous cost of having so many people on staff. I was also told that my 3 year old cat needed yearly blood work done which is typically only done on cats who are elderly. And they quoted me another ridiculous price for that too. I laughed and never went back. So much for affordable veterinary care. If you don’t want to be robbed by this place I suggest you don’t bring your pets here. Paid $500 to have my dog spayed somewhere else

Fantastic experience: I've been a client for over 50+ years, with original owners and current. The updates that were made to the facility were much needed. I cannot say enough about the care and compassion from the staff. There will be times I might have to wait for a scheduled appt, however, I know that it is to be expected-our pets can't talk! I would hope that extra time is alloted for my consult, and all my questions and concerns are addressed. I always get a personal follow up call at home to check on my dog or cat. 100% satisfied.

Fantastic experience: They are the best vet out there. I cant give Lockridge enough stars to show how great they are. Everyone is friendly and willing to do whatever they can to help. They view every animal that comes in the door as their own pet. I cant believe how much they care.
