Fantastic experience: We recently switched to this vet office and we absolutely love it. The staff are welcoming and kind. The doctors are thorough and patient with our pets, and they talk you through everything that they’re doing/seeing in a way that is easy to understand. Our team today included Dr. Kolb and Cember, and we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Negative experience: I’ve read this a lot on their reviews and I just left there as a new patient and it’s true, they just want to take as much money from you as they can. Dr. Follower is cold and standoffish no personality. Doesn’t communicate cost of services. Talks to you like you know what different things are supposed to mean without explaining anything. Not going back.

Fantastic experience: After four years of no pets, we are once again using East Brainerd Animal Hospital for our new puppy. I am so pleased to see that their professional care and office standards remain at the highest level. Clients since 2012, we have always received great communication on-site and by phone, and their doctors are great at explaining each part of the pet's treatment. I have no hesitance in recommending this friendly veterinary office for any pet owner. (We now have two small 3-year-old dogs who receive all of their care at East Brainerd Animal.)

Fantastic experience: I took my kitten in here for deworming and they were so friendly!!! I was hoping to have a good experience and I did. They helped me to figure out what else she may need in terms of vaccination and were very upfront on prices.

Fantastic experience: I have taking my pets to East Brainerd Animal Hospital for years. They are always so nice and helpful. We mainly see Dr Neal Ligon but have seen several others and have always been well cared for. On my last Sarah was my tech. She listened and asked questions to better understand what we needed. Dr Neal was very attentive. Cember was new to me. She’s a great addition to the team.

Fantastic experience: I took our cat in because she was having problems with her mouth. They got me in right away and discovered she had two bad teeth. We scheduled her for teeth cleaning and lab work and possible tooth extractions. I was given an estimate of services and treatments. Everything went really well. The vet was excellent and the staff that took care of our cat were so kind and helpful. Our cat did very well and she is felling so much better. This will certainly be our cat’s new veterinary clinic.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate that Dr Carter is always respectful and responsive to both Bella and me! Liz was great today, handling our nervous Bella with ease and care. Cember was particularly intentional and detail-oriented, making sure everything on the receipt was correct and that I understood it. I love that they have shifted to doing check-out in the exam room, so Bella can leave from there.

Knox, our vet tech, was so great with our babies, and Molly was so helpful checking us out and following up on a question for us. We highly recommend this business. We are very protective of our dogs and won't take them to just anybody. This business has never failed to take great care of them!

Fantastic experience: I always come to visit Dr. Revel or Dr Jacobs for my dog Lillian’s yearly checkup and vet needs. This time it was Dr. Jacobs and she was amazing with Lillian and her fear aggression. Dr. Jacobs and our kind vet tech Ivy were absolutely brilliant and patient with us. I certainly appreciate their taking time to examiners dog Lillian even with her being worked up. They handled Lillian with expertise and we all communicated efficiently. At the end, Lindsey was so kind and helped with checkout. I liked how they made everything focused on Lillian and me. It felt as if they genuinely cared for us and not just another number. I’m so grateful for them and will continue to drive the hour to see the great team at EBAH! I highly recommend the amazing team here!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few months; once with my cat and a few times with my dog while we’re dealing with some GI issues/ joint pain. I adore how much care and consideration they give my fur babies. They are also very empathetic/understanding about finances during the visit. Visits have been avg. $120 for us (and they have a loyalty rewards system in which you can earn $$ off your visits- love that) We’ve seen Dr Bowers and Dr Arnold now, they have both been so very helpful. Shout out to Receptionist Stephanie for always ending the visitsi on a good note, and to Tech Chelsea for making the visit go smoothly. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: The most caring, knowledgeable, kind, efficient veterinarian in the area. Could not ask for better service from everyone in this practice! I would give them a AAA rating! They have been our vet since 2009. Dr Ligon is the absolute best!! Chelsea was great with my dogs Gizmo and Punkin! Stephanie was very helpful! The in room check out was wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I don't think I've had a bad experience at this vet. We've been using it for several years and have seen most of the vets there. They and the vet techs are always super helpful, friendly and willing to take lots of time with us. This past visit was even better with their new checkout procedure. So nice to get it all taken care of in the room!

Mainly see Dr Carter , Dr Neil Ligon and Dr Teri Revelle I'd have no problem seeing any of them . Office staff couldn't be friendly. They've called to check on my dogs when they've been really sick . I think they are professional and also kind . They seen to love their jobs

Fantastic experience: I lost my heart cat today under anesthesia. The doctor and techs cried with me while they walked me through what happened (nothing they did. Sometimes this happens). I worked at EBAH when he came in as a stray (I took him home when no one claimed him) and I was able to keep coming here for his care until the end. An earlier end than expected, but he was treated with love and care from start to finish. Let's face it, the vet wasn't his favorite place to go, but he was always treated well and given all the chin scratches he meowed for. Thank you team for loving my boy with me. I know he was cared for in his final moments and that's all I can ask for. Thank you. Words cannot describe what your kindness and support meant to me today. This was one of the hardest days of my life but you guys made it easier by being so compassionate and giving hugs and treating my baby like he was your own. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I received cheerful professional service from everyone of the staff. Emma checked us out in the exam room which made it easy to do paperwork without trying to control a distracted dog at same time. Emilee was able to get approval to combine all boosters to occur on the same day. She took care of stool sample so that I didn’t have to return with one. Dr Barry Carter is my favorite of all vets I have visited. He is kind to the pets and does a thorough examination as he explains what he observes making recommendations that enhance the life of my dog.

Fantastic experience: As a long-time client, I genuinely appreciate EBAH. Dr. Revelle is our go-to veterinarian, but we’ve also seen many other excellent veterinarians over the years. Most recently, we had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Arnold and Knox, who were incredibly kind and patient with our dog. Dr. Arnold is very knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. One of the most helpful changes we’ve noticed is the new checkout process, which allows us to make payments in the room instead of waiting in the lobby. The app and texting capabilities have also made scheduling and communicating with the clinic much easier. I highly recommend EBAH for your pet’s care!

Fantastic experience: My recent visit with my Golden doodle was met with a smile. Iva is the vet tech and is always willing to lend kindness. Dr. Arnold was involved and informative in helping with a recalled digestible bone gone bad. Stay away from discount retailers for treats. The receptionist Lindsey checked us out in the room. That is so helpful when trying to handle a sick dog while checking out in front. This office has been very consistent in our care. Giving healthier and less expensive options are also appreciated! With arthritis, bladder issues and general aging, my fur baby gets priority care from reception {Dalyn), vet techs (Shelbie) and of course the dr.s (Dr. Daw, Dr Viens, Dr Revelle, Dr. Arnold)....all the staff seem to know and care for my precious dog. Fantastic experience: Our dog Jack was very sick this past Saturday, we thought we may have to put him to sleep that day. Our own Vet would not fit us in at all, knowing he is 16, and we have been with them for years. We called East Brainerd Animal Hospital and having never seen one of our pets they (Stephanie) got us in immediately! They brought out a stretcher to our car, but the Vet Tech, Leah, was able to carry him in with a towel. Dr. Arnold came to the room almost immediately after our arrival. They were all so attentive and took wonderful care of our Jack. When we finished our visit, instead of having to go to a front desk and wait to check out, the receptionist, Stephanie, came to our room and checked us out there, this was such a blessing! We never even saw a waiting room. I would 1000% recommend East Brainerd AH to anyone looking for loving, caring, and knowledgeable doctors and staff. I was so impressed and thankful for them.

She is so knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend her and the entire practice. The check out process is now seamless and so much less stressful on everyone.

Fantastic experience: Our visit this morning to East Brainerd Animal Hospital was an extremely positive experience. The staff was professional and helpful from registration through to check out. Dr Arnold was patient as she listened to me describe my pet’s symptoms and showed compassion as she examined him.

Fantastic experience: Ahh... I feel like my two precious felines, Samba (F) and Tango (M) have found a responsibly solid and good place to settle for vet needs. Dr. Revelle is mature, experienced, informative, exceptionally clear and helpful. A very likeable woman, with 20 years of clinical experience under her belt, which is definitely what we needed/wanted, after having incurred a less fortunate experience at a different nearby vet hospital. Having recently moved here from CA, we 3 are happy to have found this facility!

Fantastic experience: We have always seen Dr. Carter and we absolutely love him. When our dog had a serious injury we had to go to a neurologist. Dr. Carter read all of the records to make sure he was giving our dog the best care. We previously went in for a yearly physical and saw Dr. Carter, the vet tech Shelbie, and receptionist Dalyn. They were all great!
