Negative experience: I would give zero if I could. I naively took my baby here. After over 3000$ and an exploratory surgery (which they said nothing was wrong after) they sent her home still under anesthesia at 145lbs. We drove around for two hours waiting for it to wear off before we decided we had to just try to carry her inside very carefully, her entire abdomen was stitches. Less than a year later we took her in to a different vet ( that incident made us never want to go back) for a nail clipping and shots and they sent us to the hospital because she had so much fluid in her stomach and chest. Once we got to the triage center they rushed her back and informed us she had cancer that had progressed so far the only option were to put her down or take her to MSU to try but odds were extremely unlikely of her making as she had apparently had it for way longer than we had known. No new symptoms presented between the surgery and cancer diagnosis and unfortunately we believed them after that surgery. My baby was not okay, I know now they either omitted or missed something very big and I lost my baby because of it so just think twice before going here. I’m only writing this review in hopes this never happens to someone else’s baby. Edit to add it was dr shaker the owner who treated and did her surgery so please please be weary. No baby deserves to go through what mine did

Positive experience: Plan on spending 1.5 hrs once they give you 20 min. To arrive.

Negative experience: I really dont feel the waiting list is fair to ur patients/customers just to get pushed back whenever they want. OUR TIME IS VALUABLE ALSO!!! Seems ur more worried about the # of ppl u can get in, not the service and respect ur customers deserve. So sad....

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years and the staff is so wonderful. Dr. Shaker is very knowledgeable and straightforward. After having to put my cat down due to a brain tumor, the staff was so patient and showed such kindness.

Negative experience: I would not recommend West Flint animal Hospital to anyone given the current person who owns and runs it. Dr Baes was fantastic when he was there, but he sold to Dr. Shaker, who is not anything like Dr. Bayes and the practice although always overpriced now just seems to be nothing but money hungry The services are not top-notch anymore. Lots of experience with these people and no longer will touch them with a 10 foot pole

Fantastic experience: We've been visiting this hospital for years. The staff just bends over backwards to cater to your animal. We've had dachshunds for years and one doctor who also has them is the one we always ask for. If you want the best care for your pet, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Miller and her staff are absolutely amazing and I can't thank you enough for helping my tank and saving his life..I will be forever grateful for that ..I would never take my animals anywhere but here.. highly recommend

Fantastic experience: First time taking my little man to a vet. They did an amazing job with him. Didn't try to pry more money out of us either. He has seizures and they didn't try to say we needed to do all these tests that costs thousands of dollars. Just got us the meds he would need. He didn't even flinch when getting his shot. The wait time is a bit much, but what do you expect when everyone is trying to go to the best!

Fantastic experience: One of the best places to take your fur babies. The staff were very friendly and the vet who seen our dog, took very good care of her. I would recommend them to everybody.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the care my kitten received here. She was misdiagnosed with a URI when she actually had FIP. I spent over $600, yet no real progress was made. My kitten was sick for three weeks straight before I finally sought a second opinion. During her time here, no diagnostic tests were performed. Instead, she was hospitalized for two days and given two different antibiotics that did not improve her condition. What frustrates me most is that I even raised my concern about FIP, but the doctor dismissed it as “unlikely.” That dismissal cost me valuable time in getting her the proper care she needed. I took her to a cat vet in waterford and just by looking at her they said she had FIP. I would give this place 0 stars if i could.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing- the way handles the chaos with a caring and attentive attitude is priceless- which it practically is. Very reasonable fees- we come from the Detroit area to see them! MISS LACY is particularly pleasant and helpful. I don't remember what veterinarians we saw but hevwas awesome too! Yeah you gotta wait a bit but its well worth it. I highly recommend West Flint Animal Hospital

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic clinic. Very friendly and through. Affordable and the best interest of the pet is put first. Travelled from Canada to attend this clinic. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Left me waiting for 4+ hours in the parking lot with 0 updates and a dog with a UTI and other issues. The “urgent care wait in line system” is much so not a good system. Was late getting my daughter from daycare.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the way West Flint Animal Hospital handled the passing of my dog. After my dog passed unexpectedly and tragically on Labor Day, we called to confirm his date of birth so we could order a custom urn. The clinic provided us with the wrong date of birth — for the wrong dog. As a result, the $300 urn we ordered came back engraved with my living dog’s information instead of the one who passed. To make matters worse, the condolence card they sent was addressed to the wrong dog as well. When I brought this to their attention, the staff refused to take any responsibility. Instead, they blamed my mother, claiming she gave them the wrong information — which is absolutely false, as I was with her during the call. The cremation service confirmed it would cost $75 to remake the urn, but West Flint Animal Hospital declined to help in any way, refused to let me speak with a manager, and the staff member I spoke with treated me in a dismissive and demeaning manner. Losing a pet is devastating enough; to have the clinic add to that grief by providing incorrect information, denying responsibility, and showing zero compassion is unacceptable. This was not an isolated incident. At a prior visit with my other dog, after waiting hours, the vet briefly reviewed imaging, assumed he had a tumor, and strongly recommended euthanasia without completing a thorough physical exam. When I pressed repeatedly about whether a full assessment had been done, I was told it had. In reality, the bleeding came from a simple nicked nail — something our groomer identified immediately. We nearly put our dog down because the vet was too busy to examine him properly. This clinic has repeatedly shown a lack of professionalism, accountability, and empathy. I cannot in good conscience recommend West Flint Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their pets treated with competent care or basic compassion.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my fur babies to this vet for over 25 years. The entire staff is great and so caring. This is a busy place, and everyone works very hard. Somehow, they manage to keep smiles on their faces and make you feel that you and your pet matter. Dr. Miller, Dr. Shaker and Dr. Bays are wonderful. Dr. Miller recently made me feel better about getting my senior dog tested for Cushings Disease. Something I had been contemplating for a while. They took good care of my baby while he was there for several hours. Thanks again, West Flint Animal Hospital, for your excellent services.

Negative experience: I had a a black &white short hair cat named Candy Hunter. She was 25 years old. She couldn't poo in her box, not eating & throwing up. It was her time... I took her here & the vet slammed her against the the wall by the sink. Killed her & walked out. It's been years now & still devastated. I'll never go back. I have another named Belle, she is 19 years old. Another love of my life as Candy was..

Fantastic experience: I started bringing my dogs here about a year ago and have always had great experiences and short wait times. I brought my 12 year old boy in about 3 weeks ago to have his spleen removed because of a tumor, and they were extremely compassionate and gave me all the time i needed to prepare and answered every question i had. They worked with me on the cost and setting up a payment plan with care credit, and have been there every step of the way to deal with any questions or concerns, with no extra costs after the surgery. They did an excellent job before, during and after the surgery and it is reassuring to know my pets are in good hands. Everyone here has treated my boy like he is family and i cannot describe with words how grateful i am for the wonderful care they have provided in trting to save the life of my best friend. Thank you so much to all of the staff at West Flint Animal Hospital, you are all spectacular at what you do, you gave my boy a second life!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience there. I like that you can be put on a waiting list before going in. All the staff and doctor were exceptional.

Positive experience: Love this place. Laci and Sky are absolutely amazing. My only problem is with the Kris lady (dark hair, glasses) . She doesn’t greet you, talks to you like you’re dumb. I’m trying to pick my dog up from neutering and she has an attitude. Also she was so rude and snotty when I put my other dog down a couple years ago. Rudest person there, especially in a vet where you need to have compassion, find another job lady!!! So rude Would be a perfect place 5/5 if she was not there.

Fantastic experience: Thanks for 30 years of great service and compassionate care for a lifetime of dogs and cats! I was in and out in about an hour today with 2 dogs and a cat who all needed general checkups, vaccination and booster shots, and nails trims. It's always about the patients here. We continue to be impressed with the high level of professionalism, knowledge, experience, and compassion shown by the whole staff! We have mastered the check in process and appreciate being able to plan my day based on where I land in the check in process.

Fantastic experience: Biggest thank you to West Flint Animal Hospital for taking great care of our boy, Ozzy! After lots of research, this place was the best option based on care and price. The entire staff here is amazing! The front desk staff, Anna and Lacy were so sweet and accommodating. They deserve a raise for all the hard work they do! Fantastic experience: Our dog suffered seizures one morning, we called and they got us in immediately helping our dog and ultimately finding a cause and treating it. Very friendly staff!

Positive experience: Being a first time pet owner, I wasn't really sure what to do when my dog started acting "not-like" himself. I called them up and explained what I was seeing. The person who answered the phone listened & heard my concerns. She reassured me and talked me through how to set up an appointment. She was kind and helpful. This was the 4th place I had called to see if I could get any information or a plan to come in. We were seen within 15 minutes of our appointment time. I had lots of questions due to being a first time pet owner. They took the time to answer my question and make suggestions for ways to help my dog. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say thank you so much to the Doctors and staff for recovering our nine year old cat Toby!!!! His healing after treatment has been amazing!!!

Negative experience: with all the money they get, you think they could take the rooms and redo them. They are nasty, dirty, and nothing been remodeled since the day they bought the place. They need to close it down for a little while, and redo all the room a very nasty unclean vet place and get new equipment it is outdated equipment, and God knows what the instruments look like when they do surgery on your dog. Probably rusty and outdated I mean if you look at the equipment in the room and where your dog goes on it is so rusted and gross looking. Shoot, you’re gonna need a tetanus shot going in there. My dog was going there for a while, and they didn’t discover that with all the bloodwork when it was a puppy, we took our dog there three years, and in those three years they didn’t even tell me my dog had cancer and my dog died. Not very good on discovering things. And my dog suffered and I spent thousands of thousand dollars to figure out what was wrong with my daughter. Dog. I spent almost $10,000 at this clinic and they couldn’t figure it out. I could’ve took that money and And save my dog. Not happy with the clinic , and we were going there many many many many many many years and just have my dog died.

Honestly myself and both dogs I have brought here in the last year have been treated better by the entire staff than any other vet we've been to in the past 15 years. Comprehensive care, sensitive to your needs and your animals needs, compassionate staff all around, from the great front desk folks, the vet techs and love love love the doctors. Fantastic experience: The kind staff at West Flint Animal Hospital was nothing short of amazing. The dreaded day of having to put my soul dog down came suddenly and unexpectedly, on Christmas Eve morning, no less. The staff accommodated our grief and needs in such a kind and compassionate way while having to say goodbye to my sweet boy. I will forever be grateful for the kindness they showed in the most difficult day. They made sure my boy was comfortable and let us take us much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. It was the patience and compassion we needed during such a difficult time, and I won't ever forget it. Thank you West Flint staff for being so sweet and caring. Fantastic experience: The staff at this clinic have always treated me and my animals with tons of respect. The waitlist to get an appointment can take some time and planning, but it's FCFS, and I've always been able to get in on the same day I need something done. The prices here, compared to other animal hospitals, are cheap!

Fantastic experience: We got a 7 week old kitten and he wasn’t doing too well. He was skinny and full of worms we weren’t sure if he’d make it. So I brought him here. The staff was efficient and very friendly. The price was reasonable. Two weeks later he’s terrorizing our house. lol. Thank you folks for caring I recommend everyone go there

Fantastic experience: This place is AMAZING! I am extremely overprotective of my little teacup chihuahua. I research and take my time finding groomers, etc for her. These people here are so friendly and will make you feel comfortable leaving your pets with them. You can tell they love animals. I trust them completely. My most recent visit was to get my dog spayed. She has recovered and is doing great. I highly recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: This animal hospital is exceptional. Brought my Lily in for a 2nd opinion. They whole team was absolutely amazing and caring. They were very concerned and did what they could to figure out what was wrong. They literally saved my dogs life. In 2 ways. Almost euthanized her ( couldn't do it) due to another vets recommendation due to me not being able to afford a 6 to 10 thousand dollar emergency surgery. Had surgery done here for a fraction of the price. she is doing better. Kudos to WFAH. Highly recommend. Thank you to all of the staff they rock.

Negative experience: This is the worst experience for a 45 year long time user of this fine clinic. It has deteriorated into a factory of uncaring vets and their staff and especially the procedure of getting an apt. So so disappointing!!!

Dr Shaker has been quick to diagnose my pet’s problem and offered professional and effective treatment. Even more important is he takes the time to talk through the problem and treatment options (so you can understand). Thank you for your service and professional team.

Fantastic experience: This clinic was able to get us in for an emergency, even if it was just to assess what was going on. Every other vet in our area of Flushing wouldnt even see us or turned us away. The friendly and understanding staff we're able to give our pet the care it needed when it mattered most.

Fantastic experience: Very good vet. They handle my 3 cats and 2 dogs. Have done an ACL surgery on my German shepherd here and nothing but positive care and reviews. She's doing much better now thanks to Dr shaker!

Fantastic experience: Took my 16 year old cat in today. He wasn’t feeling well but long story short the tech and Dr. Miller were amazing and thorough. We did exam, sedation for the exam coz my old boy is spicy and went from curious kitty to feral killer jungle kitty in a millisecond complete bloodwork, thyroid test, rabies shot, antibiotic shot, urinalysis, ear treatment and a sample of special diet he needs to be on—for a ridiculously reasonable fee. I was grateful to walk out with a cat on the mend-angry-but on the mend Thank you for being awesome

Fantastic experience: The Staff today, from the front desk, assistants, vet techs, and the vet Dr. S (I think). Were absolutely amazing!!! I took our baby in today. Very uncertain of the outcome. Dr. S came in listened assessed her told me immediately what was wrong explained options. However, was directly forward. Was very hard to hear the Dr say what my heart felt. However, he wasn’t chasing the $$$ I appreciate him doing so. All of the people I came into contact with was 100% animal friendly, compassionate, gave us ALL the time we wanted. Thank You WFAH for your loving care and understanding of not only our Precious ZsaZsa but for my partner and I.

Positive experience: ? Went in when a room was available okay great however my cat should have been put to rest a bit sooner than the time they got in the room I went to believe my cat passed away right then in the last cry my baby made because my baby's eyes look totally different when it went down as i did see a much more serious look in the eyes of my baby should have been no time after going to a room I felt upset and so bad for my baby for it all . Ps just hope others don't have to go through this kinda nonsense before you're animal goes in to death not sure I will be returning to this place again it would be a very hard call to make if I have no choice.

Negative experience: It used to be by appointment, and now you have to log in on line to get a number, if you're lucky. I've been going there for years, but now it's gotten so hard to get in I started going to Swartz Creek Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are so compassionate and caring. They have cared for my cats like they were their own. I won’t go anywhere else for vet care, they treated us so well. They are also affordable! You won’t regret bringing your fur baby to them.

Positive experience: UPDATE: Impossible to get into since COVID so I’m switching to a vet that takes appointments and was able to get my dog in the same week. The wait list is ridiculous. I signed in at 1:00 (as soon as the queue opened) and we were number 11 to be seen. An hour and a half later we were number 6 so I had to bail and find another vet. Previous review: We have been going here for about 20 years. The only negative experience was when they called my daughter to remind her of her cat’s upcoming surgery, and she was on her way home from just having her euthanized at THEIR office. Other than that, they are very friendly and empathetic when it comes to putting down pets. They are SUPER BUSY but the wait list is nice, if you can get on it. No wait list for me today as I had to put my second dog down in their office. Highly recommended

Positive experience: I’ve been taking my animals here for over 20 years. Pre-Covid it was first come first served. Always busy but could usually be seen within about 15-20 minutes. Post Covid-now you sign in to wait online. There is a morning sign up and an afternoon sign up time. I clicked to sign in the wait line the MINUTE the afternoon wait opened up and my dog was number 11!!! Ahhhh! After an hour and a half he had moved up to 6. I called another vet and made an appointment for a different day due to wait times. The office is fine-typical veterinary office. Just too busy for me and my lifestyle and I need appointments that fit my schedule. So after 20 years I am switching vets

Fantastic experience: We drove 1 1/2 hours because this was the only place willing to get our sick dog in immediately and so happy we did! Dr.Shaker was amazing and figured out what was wrong with her very quickly and had a plan to make her better. We will gladly make this drive again. Definitely recommend this place!!

Negative experience: Been coming here for years and spent lots of money for the vet to be so rude over a signature I need on some paperwork to be exact his words were “not interested in signing any paperwork for you” and hung up the phone! I’ll tell you now Dr. shaker Quaker u will not be getting another cent from my business or rescue again!

Fantastic experience: Came in with my 8 months kitty, thought it was a urinary obstruction, got seen in about an hour, long story short, I got amazing service, they tested for feline leukemia, tested negative, they think it may be fip, gave antibiotics, the price was very nice, not expensive, kitty doing better with antibiotics, not is eating and drinking himself, I hope it isn't fip, the vet was a lady and man both with dark hair, idk the name, they were up front about everything, answered every question, and didn't sugarcoat, very excellent

Positive experience: I’ve been with this office over 12 years. And the staff and office has always been clean and professional. I took one star off for parking and the new check in system. They are a walk in office with online check in now. Personally it has made it so I haven’t been able to go to this office. I have done it one time waiting hours, another where I had to cancel because I tried to wait and leave from home but there’s no way of knowing truly what your wait will be. But if that doesn’t bother you, the service and staff have always been amazing. I’ve been taking pets and litters of Sphynx and puppies and all service I’ve received was professional.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend them! We were unable to get into our vet when our dog had a very painful dental emergency. West Flint was able to see our Sadie that day and performed the emergent surgery the very next morning! Their staff is compassionate, professional and very knowledgable. Their prices are reasonable. We are very grateful to Dr Miller. She is our new veterinarian!

Fantastic experience: Super friendly, good Dr's, been going there 4 yrs. They've taken good care of Karma. She's had several operationz. Knee surgery, she came home with 85 percent usage. Which is very good.

Negative experience: The vet basically looks at the animal and decides how much money they want to make off you or tell you your animal should be put down. Only vet I know that can say an animal has cancer with zero testing. But will take several thousand for exploratory surgery. What a joke

Fantastic experience: My family has been taking our pets to West Flint Animal Hospital since the day they open their doors. They've always been kind and patient. They go the extra mile to give my current dog time to get to know them before they touch her.

Negative experience: Called in to get put on your waiting list and was told I had to sign in online. We'll I'm not doing that. I will however leave you a bad review...Ever since covid every vet including this one went stupid on how you can get your pets seen. When I told the girl on the phone that o will be looking for a new vet because she couldn't put me on the list she said "no worries". Well if losing a customer is what you want, I will be telling everybody to go elsewhere! Good luck & good riddance! You deserve negative syars.......

Fantastic experience: We are not patients at West Flint but they got us in immediately when it was an obvious end of life for our old girl after our vet turned us away. They were incredibly supportive and caring through the whole process. I would recommend them to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for years with my dachshunds. No complaints. Dr. Shaker is great to talk to and quick in the room. My dogs typically need just routine care. I've taken my foster dogs here for their spays and dental cleanings also. Easy process of drop off and pick up. The girls are very helpful.

Negative experience: They’ve always been great in the past but then something changed recently. They seem to care more about money than animals these days, always saying food allergy for everything and stopping my dogs prescription abruptly. I put up with the wonky scheduling system because the vet was so good-but each time I’ve gone it’s gotten a little worse.

Fantastic experience: This is the best veterinarian in Flint, hands down! It has been in my family for two generations. Dr. Baez is awesome I can not say enough kind words about him and all the staff there! They actually care about your pets and not $$$. Their prices are fair, and I recommend anyone with a fur baby to trust West Flint Animal Hospital. Because they are so, they get pretty busy, so I recommend signing up on their website as early as 7am so that you can be seen before noon. 5 stars from me WFAH!

Fantastic experience: Found this gem when our other vet went down 2 days a week. You MUST make an appointment, and it is 1st come 1st served. This can lead to long wait times, but I have never left feeling rushed or uniformed. With 6 animals, I'm sure we will be visiting a lot. Thank you everyone

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough great things about the place.. Very accommodating, detail oriented and efficient. Reception (Rebecca) was ok, the vet and vet techs were INCREDIBLE! Mike vaccinated my dog without him even noticing, really seemed to care about the comfort of my dog, he gave us a detailed diagnosis and care plan, trimmed his nails with no charge, he loved on my old dog and ultimately I was charged half of what my regular vet bills me. Thank you West Flint! We will be back.

Fantastic experience: My dog needed a growth removed and his teeth cleaned... They went above and beyond and clipped his nails and cleaned his ears and even did his butt glands... Freaking awesome!!! I was super nervous for this procedure to be done as it's on my best friend and he's never been put under before but it went great! My little dude came back to my happy and healthy and I couldn't be more thrilled! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my pets to this practice for 30 years. There have been many changes in that time, but the level of care they provide is second to none! We love the people and they love our pets. Couldn’t ask for more.

Negative experience: My daughter called about her rabbit and she was told she could be seen today, but had to do the online wait-list. She tried but it didn't work, so we called and was put on hold. We drove to location and spoke to the front desk, but was informed the wait-list was already full. We explained about the call and the online queue issues, but was turned away.

Negative experience: Do not trust these doctors with your beloved pet. They only care about money, they do not have time to listen to what's wrong with your dog, not so they care. They just want to get as many patients through as they can. And they will tell you it's a dental issue no matter what it actually is. They don't even offer to try and find out what the problem, it's a dental issue because that's where their money is made. My family had takien our pets there decades and I will never go back. It's not the same Clinic it used to be.

Positive experience: Nice place, clean, staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I gave only 4 stars due to the online queue system. When I kindly mentioned my basic concerns with the queue, the vet stated that no one had ever mentioned the things I voiced would help with customers with their system. Other than that, I would Highly recommend this business, just hoping the concerns I shared will be discussed/reviewed❣️❤️

Negative experience: The staff and the vets are remarkable. The prices are reasonable BUT the problem is, can't get in. They do a waitlist and it is always full, you can call at 1:00 and when I do they are already full. Been my vet office for 20 years but it doesn't help when I can't get my fur babies in anymore.

Fantastic experience: Because they've taken care of all three of my pets up till they're death. Dr shaker and Dr.Baise are very good veterinarians you would want their dog in their hands if you needed help or your cat. It's a great veterinarian place to take your fur children

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my animals to West Flint Animal Hospital for many years. . . The office staff, the aides, and the Doctors are all amazing! Amazingly kind, patient, and knowledgeable! They enjoy my animals and treat them with great respect; they convey kindness by recognizing my concerns and worries about my beloved dogs! Fantastic experience: Our first experience here was nothing short of impressive. Staff was friendly, service was efficient, prices were very reasonable. Love the fact that I was able to avoid an emergency weekend visit with my overpriced hometown vet because of the walk in availability. Will definitely make the hour and a half drive again when needing care for our dogs. They even clipped my dogs nails while he was out from surgery. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very cordial and friendly staff, prices affordable. Just got my dog neutered and all checked out, they explain everything that was happening with my boy before and after procedure. No rush at the conversations. Very pleased with everyone

Fantastic experience: I have always sought out small vet clinics for pricing (not paying for a fancy clinic) and simply access to vets. My little dog got seriously sick, and the care she received for 2 weeks was exceptional and very caring. Logging in the get on their waitlist for an appointment threw me at first, but once you get the hang of it very convenient. When I had an emergency, I simply called and got right in, so know the wonderful staff always put our fur babies first.

Negative experience: We took our listless kitten there. They gave him a shot & said to come back tomorrow if he's NOT better. We did. They gave him another shot, prescription medication & prescription food. . On the 3rd morning he started meowing, had a seizure & DIED! A waste of $300.00 and with a HORRIBLE OUTCOME!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love all the people who work here. They are so good and understanding to my puppies needs and they are so gentle with them. Such a great and refreshing atmosphere .

Fantastic experience: They helped me out with an emergency situation with my dog when no one else locally would. Very detailed, didn't run or push unnecessary tests, and their prices are so much more reasonable than any other vet I've ever been to. Highly recommend

Negative experience: I took my cat in for a growth in the gum of her canine tooth in February 2022. When I picked her up, the Doctor said, she should live a few more years and we did not do a biopsy on her because the growth was all burned up. We removed her abscessed tooth. Almost a month later, I brought her in a 8am because the growth was getting bigger. The other Doc says, take her home and put her on antibiotics if it gets worse bring her back. This no appointment clinic has cars parked down Corunna Rd daily. I brought her back the following week. In my opinion, the doctor knew she had a malignant growth, did not remove after the first 400 dollar procedure. The next procedure was 652 dollars and he sent her home with a major portion of her gum removed, cauterized. I have never seen an animal is so much pain. I requested more pain medicine Friday March 29th. I was charged another 84 dollars for medicine that finally took care of the pain. I asked him if I could bring her in. He said take her to an emergency room. They don't care about your animals. They take more patients than they can handle on a walk in basis. When you stop caring about animals, it is time to retire! If you care about your pet, do not take them here. They are overbooked and will not keep your pet over night. The standard of care for the surgery Bells had was 4 nights to be monitored. They could not be bothered. Update, Baes was wrong. I am taking Bells to be put out of her pain. It has been less than a year. Both the doctor at Blue Pearl and my current vet agreed. If he had called it when she got her tooth extracted it would not have spread. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY TO THIS PLACE.

Fantastic experience: Never had a bad experience. The staff is SO friendly. Please note: it is first come, first serve - not physically, but electronically. You must go to their website and get on the waiting list for the day. I think you can get on the list 30-60 minutes before they open.

Negative experience: We use to love it here. Now, we wouldn't go unless we were sure to get Dr. Shaker. For months, they wouldn't listen to our daughter, who always took her in. She felt they talked down to her and the older man treated her like a teenager. She is 32. Had he or the lady doctor done the simple test my daughter requested, we would have had more time with our crazy, beloved dog.

Fantastic experience: only positive experiences with vets and staff here. not accepting appointments is frustrating but truth is their online wait list queuing system works pretty well once you understand how to access and use it. They're reasonably priced and haven't yet had them try to push extras or unnecessary treatment or tests like I've experienced other places. Caring knowledgeable staff!

Fantastic experience: Totally forgot to write my review from months ago. This place is amazing and has reasonable prices! My kitty adopted me outside so I brought her in to get shots, dewormed, flea treated, etc. The staff is amazing and super inviting and Doctor Baes is so nice. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 elder dogs in the last year and a half become suddenly very ill with no choice but to lay them to rest. I cannot thank all of the staff enough for their compassion, understanding and kindness for our dogs and my daughter and I. I have tears writing this because I'm not sure if we could have handled it without this wonderful group of people. You all are a true blessing and angels on earth. Thank you, Roberta
