Fantastic experience: Love the service and care they give to my Molly ! I drive from out of town to see Dr.Rankin!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic vet! He agreed to see my grandma’s beloved dog at the end of the day when her own vet’s office would not and told us to take it to the emergency center. He saved her dog’s life and of course now is her vet and she recommends him to everyone! He cares so much for all the animals and has such a sweet personality and easy to talk too. Several family members of ours from all over Tulsa now come to SS to have him treat their dogs, not only is he more reasonably priced but they prefer him. He really is the best!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My husband took our 3 small dogs for a teeth cleaning. Dr. Rankin performed the cleanings himself. My husband and I cant express how grateful we are for Dr. Rankin. His front office gal is wonderful and knows her stuff. My FAVORITE PART about the office is that all 3 of my pups have had their shots there, and none of them made a sound! Dr. RANKIN has the most GENTLE TOUCH!! Our pups love him. Their tails wag with him before, during and after each visit..well the teeth cleaning had them sorta loopy, but they were not stressed when picked up. I am beyond grateful to have found Dr. Rankin and his staff. Also... they are very reasonably priced. We are looking forward to future visits.

Fantastic experience: My Molly was a victim of a hit and run she had broken her paw. The doc did all that he could for her for I didn't have any money. He didn't have to do that. I will be so ever grateful for what he did for her thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rankin and the entire staff. My dog was attacked and in really bad shape, and I was terrified. Dr. Rankin not only treated his injuries with incredible skill, but also took the time to teach me exactly how to care for him at home. Being able to check in daily with photos and get reassurance that he was healing properly meant the world to me. Even in such a horrible and stressful situation, they truly put me at ease. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares—my dog wasn’t just another patient; he was treated with the same compassion and love they’d give their own pets. Thanks to Dr. Rankin and the team, my boy is healing beautifully. I will never take my pets anywhere else. They are simply the best.

I could not get them in anywhere and called and they said they would fit me in before they closed so I could get them treated. Our dog healed out amazingly with no issues. I love them. And just wanna add the building and style its self is so pretty the decor is gorgeous!! So all and all a 100000/10

Fantastic experience: At 7PM 12/04/25 - My 7 yr old son decided to feed our 12 week old puppy a "treat". He climbed up a step stool in the shop & got a bag off the utility shelf & gave him a rat poison block.... one of the BIG chunks. They give him real treats often but I was out of them at the time. I find this out after the fact when I find a mess of green crumbs on the couch. Knowing we had no green food, I asked my kids what it was. My son said he gave Jack a "treat". I said what treat? - Show me!!! He takes me to the shop & gets me the bag. I dart back into the house & immediately go to Jack. Hes curled up, weak & lethargic. I asked my son when he gave it to him, he said before we ate dinner. We ate over an hour before. I called my friend Mariana (her dad is Dr. Rankin) & begged her to call her dad for him to meet me at his clinic (We are in Cleveland). I am happy to report that with his treatment, observation & LOTS of worry on my part - Jack is alive, well & thriving! I have had follow up calls & messages calling to check on him. If it wasn't for them & their quick action, Jack wouldn't be with us today. THANK YOU DR. RANKIN & family - From the bottom of my heart ❤️

Negative experience: I would give negative stars if I could. I saw great reviews about this place, and since it is closer to home I thought I would give them a chance. When taking my dog in for a yearly checkup and shots, the so called Dr. didn't even look him over, he gave him a shot and left. About a week later my dog started developing ring worm, which could only have come from Rankin's office as my dog doesn't go anywhere else and none of my other animals have got it. I now have to spend an extra $900 to treat all my animals and shampoo the rugs and carpet in my house to prevent further spread. I would never recommend this vet and will tell everyone I know to stay away if they actually want their animals cared for.

Fantastic experience: Truly an amazing vet office! All the staff is kind and caring and so helpful. When I have my kids with me, they help me manage the babies and the our dog. They do not price gouge or hassle about unnecessary services. Dr Rankin explains all service options and is transparent about the care he is giving our pets. We love this vet and always feel well cared for when we leave.

Fantastic experience: We went to Dr Rankin when our dog woke up limping. They got us in right away. Dr Rankin knew exactly what was wrong and didn't make us do an unnecessary x-ray. Our dog gets pretty anxious at the vet and wasn't at all. Dr Rankin and his staff are very kind and provided fast service. We found our new vet!! Thank you Dr Rankin and staff!!

Fantastic experience: Best Vet I have been to taking my dog for her nail trims every month. Zoey Waddle is loving her vet. He is always so nice calm and patient with my dog while doing her nails cause she don’t like her nails trimmed. I highly recommend this vet to anyone that needs a caring vet. They are all so wonderful in the clinic. The staff is nice and polite and loves animals and always adore my dog when she comes in.

Fantastic experience: On 12-21 I arrived at 8:05 AM and needed my Pomeranian checked out for horrible cough that has worsened in the last week. Not only did they see my boy, I was out in 30 minutes with medication and updated vaccines. Absolutely reasonably priced and they exceeded every expectation I had. They are now my dogs Vet. First impression mean a lot and WOW!!

Negative experience: If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. When I got there, the front desk lady just put me in an exam room without asking who I was or why I was there. She had me fill out my own patient profile for my cat on a piece of wide-ruled notebook paper. Dr. Rankin came in a couple minutes later and didn’t introduce himself, so I had no clue what was going on, but told me my cat had behavior issues because he was burrowed into my arm, scared as could be. He prescribed prozac and told me that it makes humans suicidal but wouldn’t do that to my cat. I mean, what?? Wholly unprofessional experience, and when I ended up getting a second opinion, the other doctor noticed my cat had a fever (which Dr. Rankin failed to notice) and ran some tests on him, discovering an actual medical issue with my cat. Do not take your cat here.

Fantastic experience: Took my sweet boy here for an emergency they squeezed us in within an hour of me calling .The vet tech, who took us straight to a room (I didn't get their name :/) but she was amazing so sweet and helpful and the vet was very quick and figured out what was wrong with my boy fast and got him help I am pretty sure we found our new vet office they were all so friendly. Fantastic experience: Mr. Rankin, DMV and his lovely wife took care of my best friend‘s senior Yorkshire Terrier when we came to visit family in Sand Springs. His veterinary hospital is so cozily furnished, clean and inviting. Dr. Rankin took the most time that any vet has ever taken to examine Einstein and he got to the root of the problem. Einstein had been collapsing when attempting to walk for more than a year. Other vets had entreated him and prescribed meds but he never got better. But Dr. Rankin knew what was really wrong and what medicine would help. He also operated on his paws. The NEXT day Einstein took his first steps and continued to improve over the course of two weeks. Now Einstein can run short laps and has regained the doggie joy he had been missing out on. We thank Dr. Rankin from the bottom of our hearts. If your pet needs a vet, go to Dr. Rankin

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Tulsa for a few days and my dog was not doing well. Tried one clinic and they didn’t have a vet available and recommended I should go to an emergency vet. Emergency vet clinic is charging $800 as you walk in and from there… the sky is the limit. DR Rankin was recommended by a friend of my wife and even though he is in Sand Springs (a few minutes outside of Tulsa, the drive was worth it. Excellent doctor. Experienced, knowledgeable, patient and caring. He checked my dog and treated him for pain. Did an extensive bloodwork and calmed me down. He called the next morning with the results and recommended treatment. Prescribed medication and all was good. The service was great from beginning to end and the price I paid was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Doctor Rankin and the Rankin Veterinary Hospital in Sand Springs. OK.

Fantastic experience: Best vet I've gone to, my cat and dog usually hate other people due to their own little stories, but he managed to make them feel so calm and comfy they didn't even notice when they go their shots!!

Fantastic experience: Took my old girl pup in for a dental cleaning. We had heard good things so drove from south Bixby to see him. 100% worth the drive. He took such good care of her, she wasn’t even scared! Even when we picked her up she wanted to stick around! (And this dog is scared of leaves blowing down the street!) her teeth look brand new. He’s our new vet now.

Fantastic experience: Our shepsky broke his leg around six weeks and Rankin took him in as an emergency immediately! They handled the situation promptly and efficiently. -He’s now five months old and is doing great! His leg has healed well! -The only time it bothers him is when we go on two mile walks but I figure over time it will get better. We’ve also had him chipped there and he’s received all his puppy shots there. I highly recommend this Vet and staff.

Fantastic experience: I woke up with my cat not able to hold his head up & walk well. He was stumbling everywhere. I called 15 minutes before they closed on Saturday they said bring him in. We showed up 5 minutes before they closed. I was a mess because my baby was sick sick. They saw him immediately & were polite to me as I was a complete nightmare. They took very good care of me & my cat. I will always recommend them for the way they treated us. The nurse even went as far as writing down the other hospitals to take my cat to if he worsened. We will use Rankin again for all of our 2 cats needs. I am very thankful for them for taking care of my baby.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5-month-old puppy into Dr Rankin for the first time last week for her vaccinations. It was a very good experience. Right when I pulled up I knew I would love it there the outside is so cute. The two women working there were so nice, so efficient. One of the women helped me carry my baby back to the car and she was kissing her and loving on her and my puppy loved it!
