Negative experience: We have been coming here for years but will be finding new care soon. No appointments were available to be made for ten days and the wait time for walk-in appointments was said to be an hour and a half. I waited two hours and forty five minutes to have my dog seen. The care from the doctor was good but that type of wait time when appointments are unavailable is not okay.
Please accept my apologies for the excessive wait time despite unavailable appointments. The team does the best to give an approximate wait time, but based on patient needs, wait times may be longer. Positive experience: The vets are really great here. My sister used to work there, so I was bringing my cat to see them since the cat is … not friendly around unknown people (and barely friendly around people she knows). All the techs and vets here were great, but I am concerned in potential discrepancies in what they charge clients. When my cat had a minor ear infection, I brought her in. The vet barely touched her, looked at her for 5 min and prescribed me some generic topical ointment for the irritation. $55 ish out the door. Solid! Nothing wrong with that. 2 months later my cats eye is a bit goopy. I brought her in, this time saw a different vet. The bet didn’t even touch her, gave me generic drops for her eye (not even Rx in the gold/copper dropper bottle, it was a whit plastic bottle with no actual prescription) and I was charge $130 ? Very odd. My sister no longer works there, so I have no reason to go back. If you bring your pet here, just keep an eye on what the front end staff charges you. Oh also, the front end staff is pretty rude and they like to ignore you while you’re waiting to check out.

Negative experience: After 30 years of patronizing this facility, we are moving on. I arrived at 1:30 today for a follow up with a problem with my golden retriever. But they didn't have five minutes to see how she was doing. They have too many customers and not enough vets. I highly recommend Radiant Veterinary in Naperville. It's a veterinarian owned Office that doesn't have the corporate feel that Naperville Animal Hospital has now. Dr. Tom, the founder of Naperville Animal Hospital, must be so disappointed with the service or lack thereof that they now provide.

Negative experience: Ive been a customer here for 30 years but will be taking my business elsewhere . I can never get an appt in a reasonable amount of time and my last walk in I was there 4 damn hours after being told it'd only be 45 minutes . This is not the 1st time my day was ruined waiting all day so Ill just go elsewhere .

Positive experience: Great care by staff. Not pleased with the policy on pet meds. Needing specific vet only prescribed med and found they do not dispense. Given business card with access to a mail order system. I do not ever rely on any medication whether pet or human to be shipped to me. I believe I may be able to get a written script to purchase elsewhere, but, need to research.

Positive experience: Got in & out quickly when getting my dog vaccinated. Only about 2-4 pet owners that day. Probably because the temperature was hovering around zero.

Negative experience: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU SUSPECT IT HAS A SERIOUS ILLNESS! They will give you a cursory examination and prescribe things to address the symptoms and not the cause. They have an assembly line work ethic and go from one pet to another without focus, no time for interpretation or analysis of symptoms and lab data or giving a diagnosis and prognosis for your pet. YOU have to tell them to do it. I had a horrible experience and my pet died sooner because I did not understand the disease but the vet should have! We all want more time with loved ones do we not?

Positive experience: Too expensive! I understand Naperville is an expensive area but $70 for an anal glad expression that takes them about 5 minutes is a bit ridiculous. I won’t bring my dog back here due to cost. Conveniece is there but I won’t pay $70 when I can get it for $35 in another town.

Negative experience: I did not like the service or the amount they charge. I thought they were very unprofessional and unfair with pricing and very rude.

Negative experience: This place is terrible. We went to this place to get our dog travel papers. We met with the doctor and they completed our dogs papers to travel and we paid the fees for this. We are now in a different country and they are telling us our dog cannot return because we don't have the correct new rabies form. Our Dog had a rabies shot in 2024 and her paperwork was submitted to the government back in 2024. In August 2025 there is a new rabies form that needs to be complete for a dog to travel out of the country. The Naperville Animal Hospital made a mistake and did not noticer a new form has to be updated. They are blaming the vet that gave the rabies shot in 2024 that they did not update the new form a year and a half later. We called the Naperville Animal Hospital and J said a Doctor will call us back. I asked for her name and she said her name was J. I asked if this is your full name or an initial. She said yes this is my full name. I don't believe it. We waited and no call. We called again and asked for a Manager. They said there is no Manager on duty until Friday and they will leave a message for them to call me back. We are stuck in a different County right now with no help from the Naperville Animal Hospital. I am so stressed and do not know what to do.
I apologize again for the travel inconvenience. The doctor and I are reviewing this with the USDA, so that future issues do not arise. I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me yesterday, and wish you and your family a happy new year.

Negative experience: I waited for four hours. It was only supposed to take about one hour. They never got back to me to let me know that it was gonna be a longer wait and I never ended up seeing a doctor and my dog was in pain in the parking lot, do not go here this place is horrible.

Negative experience: Due to the recent change in ownership this vet no longer cares about their loyal clients. It wasn’t just me they lost as a potential client, it was my family and my buddy who lost all faith during an emergency with his doggie while he was out of town. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Live out of state; in town for holidays when we had a situation. Overnight dog started vomiting bone shreds. Called the clinic and found out we could walk-in at 7 AM. Dr. Melissa Diaz saw us by 8:15 and quickly put us at ease with her relaxed style. After checkup and X-rays we still had concerns but Dr. Diaz again told us exactly what to look for and gave us a plan for holiday weekend. She advised if there was an issue she'd do surgery early Monday. Luckily all was good. We also appreciated the professional & knowledgeable PA and front desk staff.

Fantastic experience: My recent visit to Naperville animal hospital was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wait time was accurate based upon their assumption since I didn't have an appointment. They told me they would call me before my appointment in case I wanted to go to one of the restaurants nearby for breakfast. The doctor took care of my dogs foot right away and will return in a week to see if the stitches need to be removed or if you'll need any further treatment. I was recommended antibiotics as well as an anti-inflammatory, but chose to also get some probiotics. My sheep, a doodle is a pretty finicky eater so they should've asked if I wanted the powdered antibiotic for his food or tablets as they gave me the powdered and I did not realize until I got home. I did return to exchange them for the tablets. Lesson learned on that one. Hope this review helped

Fantastic experience: They where very nice when we went in last week for our guinea pig to have his check & put to sleep found out he had a tumor and was bleeding out from it and we was on the way to get the clay paw print but found out that it was hard getting the clay right for the paw and just wish they can call us first for they can tell us know before driving all the way there since we are not from Naperville

Negative experience: Be aware of the clinic's current appointment notification system. I've been a customer for years, but recently the automated text and email reminders I depended on suddenly stopped working (even though they have my correct info). When I inevitably forgot a future appointment without the reminder, I was charged a $25 no-show fee. It seems they now expect clients to remember every appointment without standard reminders, which feels unfair. If you book here, make sure to set your own reminders or verify their notification system is working for you to avoid unexpected fees

Positive experience: It's a good place but there are never any appts available, and walk-ins take all day. We both work and can't sit there all day. We have three dogs and sadly have to establish at another hospital. If we could get an appt, ever, we would stay. Maybe they need to open another branch or something.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I recently visited this clinic for a routine checkup for my dog after relocating to Illinois. During the appointment, the veterinarian expressed concern about my dog’s nose and recommended a biopsy to determine the cause of the raw skin. I explained that my dog has had this condition for over seven years, related to his allergies, and that it has been stable. Despite this, the clinic advised that a biopsy was necessary per the doctor’s recommendation, so I proceeded with the procedure. When I arrived to pick up my dog, I was informed that he had been “aggressive” with one of the technicians and that the incident had been reported to animal control. This was extremely surprising, as my dog has never shown aggressive behavior at any veterinary clinic before. When I asked about the incident and the technician’s experience, the staff became defensive and did not provide a clear explanation. A week later, I received the biopsy results, which consisted of a single-page letter from the doctor stating that the findings were consistent with allergies — confirming what I had originally shared. No provisional report or detailed laboratory documentation was included. When I called to request the complete lab results, I was offered a refund and informed that I would no longer be permitted to follow up with the doctor. I attempted to contact the clinic owner for clarification, but I did not receive a response. Overall, this was the most unprofessional and disappointing experience I have encountered in over 12 years of pet ownership. I would not recommend this clinic, as there are many other veterinary offices that demonstrate far greater professionalism, transparency, and care.
For clarification, this happened in 2022, not recently. I apologize for the experience you had back then, and hope Teddy is doing well.
Fantastic experience: Ozzie’s annual check up went quickly and smoothly at the Naperville Animal Hospital. I really appreciate how quickly it went which minimized his nervousness and they took us in without any waiting.

Fantastic experience: My son's 5yr old guinea pig had a REALLY bad overgrown tooth at the bottom. I called several places and got quotes around $500 and many who wouldn't even provide a ballpark quote. My sister recommended Naperville Animal Hospital bc she takes her English Bulldog there. I drove an hour from the city to get our guinea pig checked out. Dr. Diaz was so fast and thorough! No anesthesia or sedation needed. $150 total. SO happy we went there! She didn't try to upsell anything, no unnecessary meds, was in and out!

Negative experience: This vet hospital was recommended to me by my animal hospital because they’re a walk in clinic. And I’m honestly very disappointed with the professionalism that occurred. Its been about a week now and the antibiotics they gave me for the kitten weren’t the greatest, I’m at a different vet now and they’ve diagnosed him with pneumonia so now he needs a stronger medication. Vet told me he had no fleas, yet when I brought him home I found a flea on his abdomen. They also marked him down as being six months old, even though he’s clearly not six months. When being given his medication I wrote down word for word what the vet assistant instructed me to do, because I knew if I didn’t write it down I’d forget. I specifically asked “does the hours in between doses matter?” And she said no. Turns out it did, it was supposed to be every 12 hours. I had also asked the vet to check him for ringworm. They didn’t tell me he had ringworm because again, now I’m at a different vet because I noticed he had something on his foot. Turns out he does in fact have ringworm, and I’ve been laying in bed with him the last week thinking he didn’t. Now I possibly have it and can infect other people, because the vets couldn’t do the bare minimum and check him for ringworm despite me asking. I paid over $200 for them to severely screw up and I’m unbelievably disappointed in the professionalism. The fact they put him as six months when he’s clearly not, the fact I specifically asked them to check for ringworm and they failed to tell me he does in fact have ringworm, and the fact they told me the timing for his medicine doesn’t matter. The vet assistant told me “just morning and night” no its actually every 12 hours.

Positive experience: I fired them as my Vet. They no longer do phone confirmation for prescription medicines. You buy from them or they give you a paper prescription. I expect better service and not a money grub. The care was good but service matters.

Utilizing our own online pharmacy ensures accurate dosing, easy refills, and reliable tracking of all prescriptions since it is fully attached to your pet's records. Third-party pharmacy requests require individual review and approval, taking up valuable staff time that is better served taking care of pets. We will always be here you and Maggie in the future if needed.

Negative experience: I’m not sure if their walk-in system is the most efficient. We sit and wait an hour and a half, or more like our time is not important. I think they should come up with a better system, like maybe appointments. It seems like other people go in front of you while you wait, why do they have appointments? I asked to make an appointment and was told to just walk-in, there were 3 people ahead of me. I think my cat may have to pee, sitting in this crate for so long. Although it may be an advantage for the veterinarian, I just do not think the walk-in system is efficient for the customer.

Positive experience: I give Dr Berg 5 stars for her thoroughness and compassion. I give the entire facility 3 stars because they promote and advertise walk ins, but their wait time is outrageous. It's simple- don't advertise it unless there are staff to support it.

Negative experience: I truly regret ever taking my dog to Naperville Animal Hospital. As a Black woman, I feared being treated differently — and sadly, my experience confirmed it. My dog was misdiagnosed on the first visit and sent home with pain meds and probiotics only. Less than 15 hours later, another vet at the same clinic correctly diagnosed him with a swollen prostate, meaning we had to make two 38-mile trips back-to-back in rush hour traffic with a sick dog. When I questioned a mistake on his prescription label, I was told they had “undercharged” me and would now double the price. I also asked if I could fill future prescriptions at my local pharmacy and was told “no,” because “other pharmacies don’t sell dog meds” — which is completely false. The most shocking part came when the practice manager, Vanna, called me, rudely said she “couldn’t help me,” then hung up. In the background, I overheard staff making racist remarks, saying things like “She thinks she’s special because she’s Black” and “I hope her dog dies.” Another employee, Allie, said she “could care less if the dog dies.” No one should ever be treated this way — not for asking questions about their pet’s care, and certainly not because of the color of their skin. This experience was cruel, unprofessional, and discriminatory. I will be reporting this clinic to the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and the BBB immediately.

While I said I couldn't answer any of your medical questions as I am not a doctor, I did offer to put you in touch with Dr. Mirabella tomorrow to get those questions answered. After you hung up on me, I did immediately call you back to again offer to put you in contact with the doctors and let you know that I would be here all day if you needed additional assistance. There was not a single person in my office with me when we spoke, so for you to accuse the staff of making those remarks is absolutely baseless. When you brought up the questions regarding the prescription, Allie did investigate your invoice to ensure that you properly understood what was on there and what was given to you. Fantastic experience: This is a great hospital! I recently enrolled my kitten into their wellness paw plan. She got her rabies and other vaccines on her first visit and the vet that took me was very patient and helped answer all the questions I had. I also got her spayed here (which is included into the paw plan) and she also got microchipped while under and only an additional $100 minus the discount I got for being enrolled. They made sure to give me an update as soon as she was done

Negative experience: While the staff here are kind and the booking process is easy, I cannot recommend this clinic for guinea pig or exotic pet care beyond very basic needs (like nail trims, which was handled well). My guinea pig was seen for an inflamed nipple. The vet prescribed an antibiotic, but: • No pain medication was offered (when I asked, I was told they didn’t want to “mask symptoms” but he already wasn’t eating). • No Critical Care or feeding support was mentioned despite my guinea pig already eating less, which is extremely dangerous for guinea pigs. • The recommended recheck was in two weeks, which is far too long for such a fragile species. Within days, my guinea pig’s condition worsened — he stopped eating and pooping normally. If I had followed the initial plan, he would not have survived. I took him to an emergency exotics vet, where he immediately received pain relief, fluids, diagnostics, and dental care for overgrown back molars (NOT mentioned at Naperville Animal Hospital). That care very likely saved his life. Guinea pigs decline quickly, and they need specialized knowledge and urgent treatment when they stop eating. Please be cautious bringing an exotic pet here for anything beyond the most basic care. I am sure they are great with cats and dogs, but I would have been heartbroken had I not been this knowledgeable about guinea pig care & reacted quickly.

Negative experience: I wholly would *not* recommend this location for anything more than routine shots. They are dismissive and will give you no real medical care if your pet is actually sick. Expect “keep an eye on it” to be the standard response for literally anything and everything. Sometimes you might get some antibiotics. I have had dogs and cats all my life, I know when something is standard pet fare and when something is actually serious at this point in my life. I don’t know if it’s because of the volume they get or they just don’t get paid enough, but they do not care. Please if you have an actual medical emergency do your pet a service and go to any of the many other vets in the area, there are many other better choices.

Negative experience: New post 8/27/25 Haven't been back to vet since last post and it's still the same terrible waiting room system. I should have known better. Your online time graph said 'no wait' but when I checked in it was a 2 HOUR wait!!!??? I don't understand why you dont take appts and control the visits. It's ridiculous customer service to make animal patients wait so long. No wonder why people on FB don't recommend your office. You need to step up. Done. one year ago post-1 HOUR 45 MINUTE wait! The service gets worse and worse with every visit- I keep giving them a chance but no more. Walked in at 7:50 and waited and waited and waited- then left. Finally was notified via cell phone at 9:45 they're ready. (NOTE: there were only 2 clients before me). Customer service has always been very poor but more importantly they need to pick up the pace!

The only way to check current wait times is by calling us directly. Any online graph or information would be something Google puts together based on input from reviews - not from us. The pace of visits is dictated by the scope of care needed for each pet being seen. More complex issues require longer time with the doctor. Best of luck with future veterinary care for your pet.
Fantastic experience: They were so gentle and patient with my hamster George! He had some long nails that needed to be trimmed but he was too wiggly for me to do it at home. Dr. Fernous and the vet techs were able to get them all clipped! He is walking so much better and I can tell he's happier. Fantastic experience: My guinea pigs teeth had over grown and I made her an appointment to be seen. I knew she couldn’t wait for her appointment so I brought her in for hopes they would be able to take her since she was starting to not eat as much. They squeezed her in for the day and now my girl is back to eating. The vets loved on her and took this adorable picture! This was my first time bringing one of my pets and will definitely be coming back if needed.

Negative experience: I took my guinea pig for a walk in since I noticed she was lethargic and not eating. They did a quick check up and gave her meds for a digestive issue and an infection. Right before leaving I asked one of the front staff if I should call if she doesn’t get better in 7 days and she just said yes without checking or seeing who I was asking for. Today, 5 days after taking her here, I took her to another animal hospital as she wasn’t getting better and sadly, she passed away a few hours ago. Turned out that after doing an xray, she had an enlarged heart. I realized that when I took her here, they didn’t do any of that testing or offered it to see if there were any underlying issues. Staff were nice but I won’t take my other guinea pig here since I don’t feel they do didn’t do their due diligence. So disappointed and heartbroken.

Negative experience: I called last night to ask about getting a bath for my 2 dogs. I was told to come as early as possible in the morning, (she said 7am) So I drove there today, first person in line at 7 am and I was told they don’t have anyone available to give baths today “sorry”. Well sorry just isn’t good enough. The staff had a bad attitude as well. I was angry. I drove all the way from Plainfield. Last time I brought my dogs in to see the doctors it took over 5 hours of wait time What is going on with you guys? You need to do better !!!!! No compensation no nothing. I’m really considering leaving and bringing my business elsewhere.. Very very poor customer service. The girl behind the desk was not nice about it at all. You get 1 star After getting in touch with Vanna, she did make it right and apologized for what happened. Thank you Vanna I’ve been with Naperville for over 9 years now and knew management would do the right thing. I’ll be there tomorrow to try it again.

Everyone was very nice and professional. The building was very clean and welcoming. The doctor took her time and answered any and all questions I had! Positive experience: First of all i would like to say overall we've always experienced great service however the recent visit wasn't so great .We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment to only find out that the veterinarian was running late therefore we had to wait another additional 40 minutes. There was no apology given for the lateness from the vet. However my furbaby was seen and hopefully were on a good road for recovery!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with this animal hospital and Dr Kayla brandt. I went in fearing the worst for my hedgehog who had a big lump on his neck that kept bleeding that was quickly making him very sick and the vet was super informative and knew exactly what to do and what it was which turned out to be a big abscess and I'm happy to say my little buddy is home after a quick surgery preformed the same day and is feeling much better and will get to go on living his best life. Definitely recommend these guys and am thankful to Dr Brandt

When I called I needed my pups nails clipped badly and she needed her shots and well and they were so nice they told me to come right in same day no problem. Negative experience: Been a patient here for 5 years and it has continued to go downhill. Use to have great availability, now takes at least 2 weeks to get an appointment. Primarily a walk-in clinic and the wait times are consistently horrendous. Now recently, have arrived to clinic more than once to see no more walk-ins for the day. Husband and I both work full-time, so this system is really a barrier. Won’t do nail trims or baths if behind on appointment, which is reasonable, but when you can’t get a timely appointment this is a problem. The last time we were in for a bath they told us to bring the dog at 8. I called at 11 and they still hadn’t even started, which was infuriating. The long wait times use to be worth it due to the experience of the vets, but now our favorite doctors have all come and gone. Front desk staff have always been pleasant and polite, which is appreciated. Med Rx usually sent over the first time you call but have had some recurrent issues with that. These logistics are no longer sustainable. Doesn’t seem like this clinic cares to keep its customers around.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Borcherding was great with Pepper the Dalmatian as she was frightful and timid. Pepper hates going to the vet, but Dr. B had patience and his welcoming presence put Pepper at ease. Dr. B was attentive to my questions and gave thorough answers and feedback. Fantastic experience: Got annual vaccines for my cat, and we had a great experience. I learned about how to better help reduce my cat’s plaque. The vet was excellent with my cat and very warm and loving with him. The shots were done quickly and smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I was in need of a walk-in/emergency care vet today due to UTI symptoms in my cat, and was thrilled to find this vetinary clinic took walk ins. While the wait was longer than expected, the clinic itself was clean, with a water dispenser and free k-pod coffee. Receptionists were nice, and the examination rooms spacious. The visit itself took about 20-30 minutes, with a few minutes speaking to the vet. Full visit included xray, bladder US, and examination. That, with meds, was not terribly expensive compared to other locations. Overall, I recommend, and would go back in an emergency. Sadly, it’s a bit far for regular exams, but seems like a great option for those who live close. Please note, I would like to keep my post anonymous.

Positive experience: Usually have a great experience here. Dr. Fernous is absolutely wonderful, I normally see her for appt's. However, today I saw Dr. Borcherding for the 1st time and he was quite condescending. I went from walking in feeling happy and bubbly to quickly shrinking and feeling uncomfortable. My cats are over weight and I asked if we could do bloodwork to ensure they're not diabetic and he advised "they're too young to have diabetes". No bloodwork happened. Okay. I sure hope he's right! My one cat had crystals in her urine before, and he would have known that had he listened to me more and bothered to ask any questions. I did explain a tiny litter clump was a foot out from the little box and ants were attracted to it. He said it was likely a clump of feces rather then urine. Like I can't tell difference, but okay. He then went on to ask me what would be in poop that would attract ants. I stared blankly, too uncomfortable to answer him, and he broke the silence by answering his own question -- "food...". Wow. Thank you so much. Had no idea, Dr. (not nice). Dental cleaning was discussed, but then he did not bother to explain what that process looks like, where I can have it done, and how I should prepare. Overall the appt felt very rushed. He handed me ppwk discussing the weight and said I could go to the front desk. When I asked for more information about the dental cleaning, he said "front desk can provide you the pricing". I clarified I was looking for information on the process and he stated very plainly "...you would ensure they don't have any food or water the night before their appointment...because they'll be under anesthesia...and we don't want them to vomit...essentially the same steps we do for human beings..." Question - What if I have never had a procedure requiring anesthesia? And what if I don't know anyone who has gone through that before? How would I know? Why wouldn't you just include that information in the appointment ppwk? Replying with a "how do you not know this" tone as if my question was a dumb question or a tall ask is absurd. Perhaps Dr. Borcherding could use some training in his professional career on how to talk to people. But what do I know, I'm just an idiot patient.

Negative experience: They dropped my hamster FOUR TIMES onto the metal table by accident. I left the vet having a hurt animal that's previous condition was just "being itchy." I asked the vet if my hamster was okay and she said yes, but I have a hard time believing a baby hamster being mistakenly dropped four times from a standing height onto metal doesn't feel that pain even if we don't see or hear it hurt. I wrote in their survey about my experience and I just sort of got back a corporate response of sorry for your bad experience. At the end of my visit I also got a booklet on hamster care that was inaccurate about the diet and space required for a hamster. This hospital specifically advertises itself for "exotics pet care," but I don't think they're experienced enough for small critters like hamsters.

Fantastic experience: NAH is truly a wonderful place filled with such caring, kind and compassionate staff! Dr Diaz, and all the wonderful staff took such great care of our sweet Doberman Cujo. We are especially touched with the heartfelt love and care they provided for our beloved Doberman. They also took excellent care of my Cockatiel Sunny while undergoing unique procedures and she had a great successful outcome. I would highly recommend this animal hospital!

I've had to be taken care of by them for two pet losses and they go above and beyond to make everything the least painful possible. Fantastic experience: My 13 year old dog was in desperate need of a mass removal on his head that he kept scratching and making it bleed. I had taken him to two different clinics. One didn’t have any surgery appointments for at least two months out and the other did not have the means to do it safely because of his age. A friend of mine had heard about your clinic and sent me the info. I called. I was told walks ins are accepted. With despair and Hope my sister in law and I drove all the way from Alsip. They took one loopk at him and said we are doing this today! He is now in recovery and is doing well! I 10/10 recommend this place and I’m grateful for the kind staff! Fantastic experience: This clinic has now provided care for my cats and my gecko, and if my chinchillas ever needed it, they could be seen here too! The cost for seeing my gecko was the same as for my cats, and his meds were hardly any extra expense. All my appointments have been as quick, painless, and attentive as possible. Noisy, anxious pets are moved to a different waiting area so other patients are not wound up more. Consideration seems to be the highest priority here.

Negative experience: If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Most recently, my dog went in for spaying surgery which was inpatient (the kept her overnight) and she recently had pneumonia so not only did we request a call that she was out of surgery and awake but they verbally committed to calling us and they never called. We had to call in minutes before they closed to find out our dog had been out of surgery for 3 hours already. Second issue, they miss diagnosed and/or mistreated my dog which lead to her contracting pneumonia as a 5 month old puppy. In the process of these appointments, one was a walk in, and they told me our wait would be 30-45minutes when in actuality we waited 3.5 hours, after explaining the severity of the state of my puppy's sickness they had zero urgency. The first issue we had with them was when doing routine vaccines - we opted out of the lyme disease vaccine and it was still given to her by the vet on call that day. How can you administer a vaccine to a puppy that the owner opted out of, IT WAS CROSSED OFF OF THEIR LIST TO CLEARY NOT DO AND THEY STILL DID IT!!! When complaining to the management they brushed it off like they did nothing wrong and said "I'm sorry you feel that way." Zero accountability or adjustments made on their end. Zero consideration of our time and money spent. And zero remorse for the mistreatment to us and our dog. I will never walk through their doors again.

Fantastic experience: They were very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process! Dr. Diaz and the technicians were so informative and caring for my guinea pigs. Everyone I spoke to on the phone and at the front desk were kind and made the process very smooth. I would definitely recommend taking your exotic pets here!

Fantastic experience: This is the best animal hospital in the area! We drive over 30 minutes to go there for our two ferrets! Exceptional care, compassionate and friendly staff. Very reasonable pricing. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: I take my two cats here and while the cats hate it, the staff have been very friendly and good with them both. They follow up to my calls with silly health questions and are always pretty quick to get back to me.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Diaz and her team were amazing from start to finish! I felt like they truly cared about my pet and squeezed my pet in as walk in despite being totally booked. Prices were totally fair. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am a disabled veteran and had to put my beautiful girl Tasha to sleep today. I have no children or significant others. And I had to quit working as a nurse in December 2009 because I developed a pituitary tumor from exposure to chemicals in Iraq. I got Tasha two weeks after I quit working and she was by my side as I dealt with the tumor, and learned that I had PTSD. Which didn’t rear its ugly head until I was no longer working. She basically saved my life during this dark period. I am 56 and this is the fifth dog I’ve had to put down in my lifetime, but to say this was a very different situation would be an understatement. I was absolutely emotionally breaking on the way to the hospital. But I cannot tell you, how wonderful they made an absolutely horrible (but necessary) experience bearable. Everyone was incredibly kind, empathetic and you could feel the actual love and real sympathy from every person involved. They made the room comfortable for her and I to sit together while she passed. They made me feel like everything was going to be all right. I had been agonizing for the past couple of days about how scary it was going to be for her, etc. But it was incredibly peaceful and nontraumatic for her. I will never be able to thank these guys enough!
