Fantastic experience: I brought my baby girl to the vet's we had problems with her digging her front right arm that was very upset cuz I didn't know what it was and you didn't want to see her suffer and miserable. It turned out she was looking herself because she had a lot of anxiety which gave her bacterial infection. They gave me some medication to give her for her anxiety and for her leg too seems to be working she's not as much suffering from anxiety and her legs seems to be healing. I was kind of nervous they were going to put a cone on her head and cause more anxiety but the agreed with me that it would only cause you're more anxiety she told me to go get this spray from the pet store which makes it where she don't want to lick it. She seems to be doing better so thank you to the vet at West side pet clinic for putting up with her and me more me than her. They do a very good job when my Max passed away on the weekend I brought him there on Monday one of the veterinarians came out to my car and brought him in the building he treated him so carefully and myself with compassion let me have all the time I needed with him didn't rush me which surprised me that a vet came out to receive Max I just started with this Westside pet clinic so far I am very impressed and they are so caring with the animals too if you're looking for a vet and I'm a very cautious mom too which my dogs aren't dogs they're my kids and I'm very careful who I take them to take it from me you love this place. Thank you all and thank you for the compassion you showed me when my Max's passed away.

But I’m surprised my boys didn’t act up it wasn’t the fact I couldn’t afford the vaccine I didn’t bring anything with me. You should bring your pets here for a helping hand the lady’s up front are nice too.he was scared but she made him calm down by talking to him.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING!!!!! Me and my pup were a little nervous to see a new vet but I cannot say enough good things about this place. As soon as I walked in, staff were incredible and friendly. Everyone was extremely respectful of my financial concerns and treated me and my puppy with the utmost care. I was shocked how affordable the testing was. I was in and out in less than an hour and the way they handle discharge is amazing, no worries about animals interacting or coming in contact with other pets. I wish I could give them all a big hug‍

And because the vets are affordable, the dogs receive regular checkups and stay healthy.

Negative experience: If I can find out the name of the receptionist I will update it. I know she was an older lady but she is rude compared to the younger receptionist I talked to prior. I’m also certain she’s the same one who unaware of pricing (was trying to upcharge when I only inquired about vaccinations). That experience alone I’ll never come back here. I was trying to find a vet where I can save money I’ll just continue with the vet I’ve been going to.

Fantastic experience: We've used West Side Pet Clinic for about 9 years. Recently, I brought our large dog in for a check-up. The office staff, vet assistant and vet were all extremely friendly and professional. Our vet assistant Cami was so kind and sincerely loving towards my dog. Dr. Coleman was wonderful and listened carefully to my concerns. After I left the office, I received a call that they had accidentally charged me for a product I didn't end up getting. I had no idea because I opted for an e-receipt and hadn't checked it online. They caught the mistake, called me and refunded me the money within an hour of me leaving. The following day, Dr Reed Stevens called me with the results on my dog's bloodwork. All was good. He was incredibly personable, thanking me for traveling from Fort Erie to Buffalo to seek veterinary care for our pets. I HIGHLY recommend West Side Pet Clinic! If you live in Western NY or in Southern Niagara, in Ontario, Canada, like I do, it is not only economically worth it to cross the border for West Side Pet Clinic, but the care your pets will receive is top notch! Fantastic experience: I had my first appt with my senior cat here after attending a big animal hospital. I left that hospital with concerns of overcharging and lack of concern or care for my boy. I was nervous coming, having concerns about the vet and assistants and if they would be nice and how much I would be charged. From the minute I walked in, everyone was extremely kind. Each person I interacted with was patient with me and my emotions, and all were so sweet and loving to my kitty. All pricing was up front and shared with me, and I was asked each time if I was okay with the cost. There was no guilting or fear mongering to convince me to over pay (like from my last vet), just kindness and shared concern to get my kitty feeling better. Will be staying with westside <3

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to West Side Pet Clinic for four years now and recently went for my dog’s annual checkup. Tori at the front desk was incredibly friendly, despite the clinic being very busy and dealing with a terrible storm that day. I watched her maintain a positive attitude and good energy throughout cancellations and reschedules. Dr. Stevens took his time during the visit and made sure all of my concerns were thoroughly addressed. Scheduling the appointment was easy, parking was convenient, and I appreciate their system for keeping pets separated when leaving. Overall, this is a very well-run practice.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I found Westside Vet Clinic. After receiving an outrageous quote for a tooth operation for my dog I sought better and I found it. My pet and I were checked in right away. I will say the wait to see the doctor was long, however, the once the doctor came he apologized, explained the cause and truly focused on my dog. My dog has never done well at the vet and this time she was giving kisses, wagging her tail, and actually ate her treats. That alone was worth the wait. She will be having surgery with them and at a more affordable cost. I plan on moving our other dog over to them as well. Thank you for providing affordable pet care!!

Fantastic experience: Please if your looking for a vet reach out to Westside animal clinic ❤️ the staff and Dr.Reed are awesome kind and explain everything. I called on the afternoon of December 22 as a new patient for our 2 year old cat see had blood in her urine I was scared for her. They seen us as an add on on December 23 and helped our kitty we kind and gentle I was not charged for an emergency either. They treated her with a steroid shot and antibiotic shot today is Christmas 2 days she’s doing much better there prices are very reasonable and they do not try to up sell you they care about the animals and understand costs can be intimidating and challenging they explain everything so you understand if you are looking for animal care please don’t hesitate to give them a call. Fantastic experience: I rescued a cat from South bflo and try everywhere to get him.to a vet thats was reasonable..This sweet boy was left after his owners moved away and left him outside.He was drooling so a took him.the next day thinking it was a tooth...Westside clinic was so polite and kind..I was told he drooling from being pet and get excited from.affection..They diagnosed him.quickly .Excellant Veteranians..highly recomnend.

The Dr took his time to get on the floor and pay attention to my shy dog Gypsy . He calmed her before he examined her , she finally came around and was happy to go with him for bloodwork and scan ! The cost is always part of the consultation a head of time when getting anything done . What a wonderful spotless clinic ! Please give them a try …you will love them !!!!!!

Positive experience: I chose West Side Pet Clinic because of their affordable prices, and this is my first year as a cat parent, so I’m still learning as I go. When my cats got sick, I brought them in and asked a lot of questions, which I later saw written in their notes about me. I wouldn’t have minded if it were just general information, but the wording made me feel uncomfortable and honestly hurt. I didn’t realize asking questions when bringing in my sick pets would be seen negatively. I understand I may have asked a lot because it was my first time dealing with a situation like this, but I always try to be respectful of their time.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my dogs here for years. Dr. Coleman helped me a lot while navigating the end of life care for my ancient chihuahua. All of the techs are also great and always very sweet to my not-so-sweet dogs. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: been to a few vets over the years with my animals and West Side is by far the absolute best. I've been bringing my pets here since around 2019/2020 and the doctors and rest of the staff go above and beyond. not only are they super friendly and very personal and compassionate with each animal, but they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. the vets really take the time to hear all of your issues and take extra time to answer questions and make things clear. they are honest and upfront about the the cost of everything and do not put your pets through any unnecessary tests or procedures. they really do take the animals comfort seriously and are extremely considerate of the pet owners. I have also been through end of life with one of my cats here and the staff made the difficult experience as comfortable as possible for my cat and treated me with so much compassion and respect. they let me take as much time as I needed with my baby and handled everything so impeccably. I have been recommending West Side Pet Clinic to people left and right over the years, I would never take my pets anywhere else!

In my 64 years I have encountered many Veterinarians and their Staff and I have never ever never found one that cares as much as West Side Pet Clinic does ! These people are the very very absolute best, they go Way above and Way beyond what is needed and expected of them. They Were Beyond Supportive when We had to have our two Canine fur babies sent over the Rainbow Bridge as they were suffering from Cancer at their old age. It was the hardest thing we have ever had to go through that doesn't go through and I could not have asked for better people and better support than the West Side Clinic, by far the best.Thank You Everyone to the Veterinarians and Staff.This Place IS A GOD send to me and my pets. The phone tech listens very calming to the front office staff who is reassuring and happy to the Vet tech who is very nice and professional to Vet who listens to what my concerns are and was spot on with her diagnoses. Negative experience: My cat over a short period of time became very lethargic and stopped eating. They told me my cat probably has asthma but turns out he was in the middle of a medical emergency. They treated him for asthma by giving him a steroid, it did help he began eating again and seemed to be getting better. Unfortunately about a week and a half later I noticed he had swelling under his neck and became lethargic again and hid away for an entire day. I brought him to an emergency clinic where he had to be euthanized due to him only being able to use 1/8 of his lung capacity, because fluid was filling up in his chest. The vet at west side did tell me that they’re not able to do x-rays at the location so they couldn’t be 100% sure but seemed pretty confident it was asthma. I’m extremely devastated and heartbroken because my cat suffered for another week and a half. Rest in peace my sweet baby :(

Negative experience: My initial visit by the vet was tolerable but not satisfying. Did not complain and think much of it. My second visit with the Tech for my puppy was a totall disaster, starting from the waiting room. The person's name was Lai I believe. When she came to to inform us she said she had to take our puppy and then bring her back to us at the main waiting area., my husband and,I asked if we could go with her because our pup is our baby. She finally said it was OK but told us that normally they just take the pup and then bring them back to us when it's just a Tech visit. I said ok. Upon entering the exam room she (Lai ) picked pup up and went to exit exam room I then asked can you please have tech come in and administer the shot? She then practically threw the pup back at us. I asked her if she could weigh my pup as we were purchasing a tablet for her to take and she had not been weighed since her last visit, I needed to remind her they she needed to be weighed for proper dosage. Finally the tech came in did not acknowledge us by even a hi or eye contact. This was rude. We know when we are not welcomed. Even a animal such as my friends parrot says hello when a person enters the room, why can't a person who works for your establishment say hi to the customers? I dont have the answers as to why we were treated so badly. Only God knows what is in the heart am Not the judge.

They do a great job there and Dr. Stevens is always thorough and helpful. I’m happy I found them and I recommend them to anyone I can!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always had a great experience at this location, specifically with Dr. Reed Stevens. Dr Stevens is an extremely compassionate and professional human. You can just tell he was meant to help animals in this life and that they are truly at the heart of all he does. Dr. Stevens is realistic, honest, genuine and kind. I can’t say enough great things about him, his staff, and all of his veterinarian offices. When I was in my early 20’s I adopted a 7 year old senior great dane who needed to be re-homed. While I only got to be with him for his last couple of years, Dr Stevens assured me that I gave him an excellent retirement, enriched his last few years on earth, and he was so extremely kind and reassuring when the time came to put my boy to rest. I have a great amount of trust and respect for Dr. Stevens, I would recommend him and his staff to anybody.

Fantastic experience: We give West Side Pet Clinic a thumbs up. Our husky Riley's ears were red and itchy. The Vet has tried different meds over the past months to see which one will work. All staff are friendly and seem to really care about your pet. Before we left Riley had a nail trim and he was ready to go. Thank you staff for making Riley more comfortable till our next follow up appointment.
