Fantastic experience: The vet and staff are incredible with my dogs, even my guy who has snapped at vets in the past. They are magicians with shots - I don't think my dogs have ever noticed it's even happening. And on top of the great experience, they're so affordable and quick. All of the workers know what they are doing and are very nice. My favorite part about this place that even if there is three to four people in front of you, you won’t wait any longer than 5 minutes max. They go fast. Fast but efficient.

Fantastic experience: I dropped the ball making sure our dogs vaccines were up-to-date before boarding for an upcoming vacation, and was able to drop in today to give my dogs a full week with their vaccines before being boarded. So appreciative that this clinic was in town and easy to get to! I can tell the vet staff really cares, and they are clearly passionate about doing good work in the community. Keep up the amazing work OPVC!

Negative experience: The place does not look clean. I had an issue at their previous clinic and I did not know they were no longer affiliated so I took my dog there hoping they could help. While I was waiting, he gave vaccinations to two dogs and then wanted to check my dog and I asked him to wear gloves and sanitize the exam table before doing that which should be done without me asking for it. They charge $18 for antibiotics which can be purchased through chewy for less than a $1. I appreciate the fact that there is no exam fee and wait time is reasonable but they need to keep the place clean. Dogs pee all over the place and right outside their rug and I haven’t seen any of the workers mopping or doing anything. All kinds of dogs are brought there for vaccinations or other services and you need to keep the place sanitizied to make sure other dogs don’t get sick and your prices for medications should be reasonable instead of overpriced!

Fantastic experience: Went in to get my dogs rabies vaccine. We were there for tops 20 minutes. I had never been there before, and that’s what took the longest. Registering krosby, the doc heard he needed a rabies vac, and was literally filling up the syringe as he’s asking me. I put my dog on the table that’s in the middle of the lobby and the vet was SUPER kind and caring of my boy. My dog didn’t even feel it and he was done within 3 min

Fantastic experience: Wow! This place is INCREDIBLE. The ladies that work there really enjoy what they are doing, they were very professional, happy and polite. They welcomed my new puppy and complimented him. He was able to get his vaccinations, quick and easy.

Fantastic experience: These folks are wonderful! The last vet I went to got mad because my dog got scared and peed. These folks laughed about it and showed my dog patience and love. They were very busy but still had me out the door in less than 20 minutes!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! We needed the Canine Influenza vaccine to board our dogs in Oklahoma. This is the only place in town that we found with the right vaccine. We were new clients and they had us in and out with 3 dogs in less than 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic first visit to this office! There was no wait when I arrived. I didn't have to fill out tons of paperwork. The care provided was courteous, professional, and met all of my dog's needs. I'm so glad we were able to get up-to-date on her shots and she even got a nail trim. The office was very clean - the floors had literally just been washed. Easy and affordable with no office visit fees! Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing. Just fantastic. I only wish I would have thought of this business model myself. No appointment necessary. We rolled in at 330 pm with a dog and two cats needing rabies vaccines for licensure. The check in process was very speedy and the front desk staff was just lovely. We paid 94 dollars up front for 3 rabies shots. The vet was Formula 1 Pit Crew fast, but very gentle. We were back in the car by 345pm. We will ABSOLUTELY be using this clinic for all our vaccines moving forward as I probably saved 200 dollars with this single visit.

Fantastic experience: Simple checkin process and the staff is extremely friendly. The vet is knowledgeable and patient with unruly pets. The examination table is in the middle of the room so it’s quick for one patient to leave and for another to place their pet on the table. It is disinfected between pet.

Fantastic experience: I came in today for my cat because he hasn't been feeling well and the Veterinarian there was so graceful, my cat needed a variety of things which was pretty costly and she worked with me on a price. Which I will forever be grateful. Super nice people. very reasonable.

Negative experience: I'm not even sure where to begin. I was a client at the location on 84th Street, up until Friday when my dog and I were treated poorly by the "vet" (Julie) on duty. We first had issues with her when we were in for booster shots back in August. Didn't greet us, didn't say anything except, "put the dog on the table and hold her down." Um, okay. I thought that's what technicians are for but perhaps they were short handed so I obliged. No big deal. As for her downright rude disposition, I'm not sure what to say except she must be a very miserable person. That being said, we've never had ANY negative experiences with Dr Dobesh. He has always been cordial, kind and seems very competent in his trade. Because we love Dr Dobesh I was hoping to take my pup in for a nail trim this past week. I know my pup can get a bit anxious with having her paws touched so I took her for a long walk beforehand to get her wiggles out and also administered some relaxation medication to hopefully make the process less stressful on everyone. When we arrived I saw that little Miss Sunshine was on duty and my heart sank. I should've left right there but I thought we could make it work because she's a professional, right? WRONG. Dead wrong. Once again I was told in a gruff tone to put my dog on the table. She put a muzzle on my dog which is fine because we don't want anyone getting nipped at. I can tell you right now that both myself and my dog felt her extreme irritation and negative energy. She was, to put it plain and simple, a complete witch to us. I held my dog down as she made a very poor attempt to trim her nails. She cut my dog to the quick and of course, quickly blamed it on us. When she was finally done she told me next time to drug my dog. She didn't ask me if I had administered anything beforehand, she just kept talking over me, as I kept trying to speak. When she finally stopped berating me, I told her we wouldn't be burdening her with our presence again whereupon she told me, "You're going to have problems no matter where you go." That was completely rude and unnecessary. Downright cruel, really. She is far from an asset to this business. I'm not sure what institution granted her a veterinary license. I can only presume it was the Petco down the street. She's not fit to treat a sewer rat let alone our precious pets. Unless you want to scar your pet for life, avoid her like the plague. And the cherry on the sundae? She didn't even trim half of her nails. When I inspected her paws at least half of them were the EXACT same length they were before we entered the building. She's a complete joke.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't say enough good things about this place. This is some utopian ideal of what a vet clinic should be. The staff is amazing and the two doctors I have met are genuinely fantastic humans. You don't need an appointment; they walk around the room checking pets. They charge a flat rate for the medication only. In and out very quickly. My dog had a bad ear infection and later a possible eye infection. You can trust your loved ones in their care. They don't do anything serious, just diagnosis and medication.

Fantastic experience: No appointment needed. We were in & out in less than 30 minutes with 2 dogs. All vaccinations including rabies. Also had 1 treated for ear infection. Very economical & quick. Staff & vet were pleasant to work with. We will definitely be going back. A+

Negative experience: I don't like this "veterinary" practice. We took one of our cats to get her rabies shot there. We thought "no appointment or waiting would be great". First, there are no rooms to keep animals separate. Second, he doesn't wear gloves, doesn't clean the area that he gives the shot in and doesn't sanitize between patients, himself OR the area the pet is going to be in. I wouldn't be surprised if he re-uses needles. I didn't once observe him place the needle in a sharps container. The prices are the only thing that gets his customers to him and those went up $5 in the last 3 years. Not to mention he's EXTREMELY rude to talk to on the phone. I'm a dog groomer, and we sometimes have to call him to get rabies verifications on our clients. One morning at 9, a client walks in and the people bringing the dog in were the actual pet parents' parents and didn't speak English. I called him to ask for the rabies verification and he said "It's only 9, we open at 10, my computer isn't on." I told him the dogs appointment was at 9:15. He said, "Well, sucks to be them, they should've brought the paperwork that we always give showing the expiration date." I said Okay, in a stunned tone I'm sure, and hung up. We had to move the appointment up to 10, I had to call the owner and have her explain to her parents that we needed the rabies info and I couldn't get it until 10. Talk about R-U-D-E! I rather dislike the man.

Fantastic experience: I have taken my 12 years old dog here for everything her whole life, never had anything major necessary until recently and the staff is honest about their abilities to diagnose. They will help absolutely as much as they can. You know this place is truly about care for animals and not what they can make for doing so, considering there is no office visit fee and if they are just checking your dog over it's no charge. If it's just the basics this is the best place for your pets!

I’ve been going here for years, yes it’s first come first serve but there is always a guarantee that you will be seen unlike other places where you have to make an appointment and then wait for weeks. Negative experience: Went here around January because my kitten had an infection in her eye. All they did was shove the thermometer way to far up her rectum causing some later issues and insisting she has herpes. The woman who helped us said “my cats have it, most cats do so that’s definitely what she has” when my kitten has never been outside or anything. And to update we brought her to a REAL VETERINARIAN who tested our cat and she does not have herpes. And her eye being foggy was a simple infection that was from a scratch. This place is utterly terrible when it comes to cats and the people working here should be forced to have some knowledge on animals before handling them roughly and giving a completely wrong diagnosis with zero tests or anything besides a temperature check. Horrible vet clinic and I will never be bringing any of my animals to be mistreated here again. If I could give negative stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Took my dog here after my vet retired, so glad I did they are knowledgeable friendly and when my dog had her puppies they offered a reduce price for all the puppies first sets of shot. They are great with pets and explained everything so I understood exactly what to expect. Love this place

People here were very nice and I didn't wait that long even though there were many people with their dogs. The veterinarian fixed my Goldens ear infection that was not previously well treated by other two clinics. I love this place and will continue to take my dogs. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the staff at Omaha Pet Vaccination Clinic who de-escalated the scary situation at the business today. From my vehicle I saw a woman go outside after her dog and once she caught her dog on the ground, a man had pointed his gun on the woman and her dog as well as a staff member who came outside right after. This situation could’ve ended in a travesty but thank god it didn’t. My partner and I will always come back to this clinic, they truly care.

Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with my recent visit here. You can tell the staff is connected with the Pets and has genuine care. When I first walked in, I wanted to yell out that it was an emergency because I was genuinely scared for my puppy and didn’t know but I could tell they took a visual assessment before finishing with the current customer and they obviously are smart enough to know it was not an emergency. Fantastic experience: Dr. Dobesh is one of the most caring professionals in his field for Omaha and Council Bluffs! He offers services at a affordable price range for everyone and takes his time with each pet owner like no other. He even goes to other cities around our area to offer his services at places like the Bird Cage in Council Bluffs. I met him in Omaha and when we moved back from California without any hesitation I looked him up for our pet needs. He's one of a kind and that's saying something these days in any business society.

Fantastic experience: I came here today with my 4 animals 2 cats and 2 dogs and was very pleased. My boyfriend thought the place looked sketchy especially with the prices offered but we have 2 dogs 1 that’s very hyper they got her in and out the other dog wouldn’t even step foot in the place and they made sure he got his shots and brought the shot to him my 2 cats they did amazing with as well. I don’t play with my animals as they are my babies and I’m happy to say I will be a returning guest as well as my babies

My dog was very reactive and I absolutely hated taking her to a vet due to other animals being present. They would come out to my truck and give her the shots she needed and they were very patient with her. They are very reasonable and very accommodating with your animals needs

We take our small dog there for vaccinations, to get his anal glands expressed, and we also get our flea & tick meds as well as his meds to calm him during fireworks. He had a sudden onset cough and they provided a diagnosis and antibiotics. Love the vets and the staff!

I couldn’t stand seeing my pup constantly look uncomfortable from a yeast infection as i learned he had. Clinic closed at 7 and I got there at 6:56. I hate being someone who shows up right before a place closes, regardless I went in there and everyone was very nice and polite. My pup was a new patient and they checked him in quickly and showed no frustration. Dr gave me a great thorough explanation about how my pup had a yeast infection in his ear. He gave treatment and I paid and left the clinic at 7pm. Great care and helped release the anxiety i had about my pup and being super late. (side note: this does not mean its ok to come very last minute all the time to these very nice people. please be considerate) Thanks so much for quality service. No wonder reviews are top tier!
