Fantastic experience: Our first visit to Beechmont Pet Hospital went well. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Dr. Larson took great care of our pup and took the time to get to know us and answer all our questions. The exam went great but his separation anxiety kicked in when the techs tried to take him out for vaccinations so they agreed to do them in the exam room and then he was fine. He didn’t seem to even notice when they gave him all his shots or trimmed his nails.

Fantastic experience: 1st time visits to establish 2 new patients! Reggie my dog is CraCra at a vet visit BUT Dr. Meyer took her time with him on the ground where he instantly fell for her & parked his butt right in her lap!!! All staff was wonderful & caring & we just found our new veterinarian office!!! Love this place!

Fantastic experience: Went here for the first time today and I could not be more impressed. I saw Dr. Seifer and she was wonderful, as were the front desk staff and the vet techs. The price was very reasonable, and the service was great. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: I have taken several of my pets here over the years and am always pleased with the service. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. They really care. My most recent trip was no exception. Reasonably priced, quick service. Awesome doctors and vet techs. You're in good hands at Beechmont.

Negative experience: It’s easy to get an appointment here and they’re nice enough, but the no prescriptions outside of their office is ridiculous. They won’t call it in anymore and will only give a written one on request because they want you to order from their shop. But if you order from their shop and they cancel the order, they won’t call and tell you it was cancelled, either. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Meg as Dr Meyer was not in. She was very pleasant and took a lot of time to explain what I needed to know about my cat. I've been a client for some 30 years and have mostly had good experiences with most of the vets. However, I have long wondered why the price of annual dental care is so expensive. As this really is critical to the health of cats [and dogs] it would seem as if there could be a price that EVERYONE could afford. It certainly would mean there could be less illness in our pets if this were instituted. Just an occasional very small 'discount' really is not helpful. I did have a problem finding the right web site as it appears Google never takes down sites that are no longer relevant.

Fantastic experience: The doctors are thorough in their examination and explanations and never mind answering my questions. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They genuinely care and do their best for my pets!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Meg this time and they got my 2 cats in for their annual check up right on time. The tech who started us out was great and Dr Meg was very patient and kind to the kitties. She explained some issues that may be coming up with my older cats and answered all my questions. I’ve been happy with almost everyone I’ve dealt with over the years I’ve been coming here. If only house calls were a thing—it’s just so stressful for the cats and the human whenever they need to come in. Thank heavens they don’t hold a grudge!

Fantastic experience: Dr Larson was great - she examined Tessa and listened to her history and gave sound advice. She got the yearly shot for heartworm since the oral treatment usually makes her sick for 48 hours, and the shot has not seemed to have affected her at all.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience at Beechmont Animal Hospital. The staff are genuinely excited to see my dogs, they remember us and treat my dogs as if they were their own. Very thankful for you all!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff, from the receptionists to the vet were wonderful. They were highly professional as well as friendly and sensitive. I would strongly recommend this practice! Just had another visit for neutering, and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. What might have been a difficult ordeal was made much more pleasant due to their friendly demeanor and sincere caring for my dog.

Fantastic experience: I started going to this practice about two years ago after my previous vet moved, and have very pleased with their services and staff. They make it easy to schedule appointments online, they are on time, the front desk staff is friendly and efficient, and Dr. Hartig is awesome. She is kind and caring for both the pet and their owner and answers every question. I feel I truly lucked out by finding her. I highly recommend this practice.

Positive experience: It was a good experience. My dog had been attacked by another dog and I was able to get her in right away the same day. Had to wait 10 minutes for the Vet to come into the examining room. She didn’t introduce herself. I had to ask her name but she was very nice. Did a good job explaining Nova’s rehab program.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. After a series of mediocre vets I found Beechmont Pet Hospital. I thought I was going to have to put my dog to sleep, but Dr Meyer got her off the meds her previous vet had her on and on the right meds and she's doing great. I was so impressed when she saw my dog was in pain and sat on the floor with her to do her exam. Everyone here from the front desk to the techs and doctors are beyond my expectations. I wish I had found them sooner. Not only are they knowledgeable but they are so gentle with my pups which, in itself, makes the whole experience better. Thank you BPH!

Fantastic experience: We love Dr Larson. They’re kind and the whole staff really cares about animals. Dr Larson went over and above to help with a really sick dog. She saved him and we got several more years loving him before he passed.

Fantastic experience: Dr Meg and the entire staff were responsive and kind when I had to bring all 3 of my dogs in on an emergency visit because they got into our trash. They immediately evaluated them, took X-rays and induced vomiting to prevent complications. So thankful for their quick action!

Negative experience: To be clear, my review is not rating the actual veterinary care my dogs receive, but the office staff. Time and time again, I come to this office (over 4 years and with 2 large dogs) and I have the same horrible experience with an older receptionist. She is consistently cold, abrasive, and unnecessarily judgmental. There are other people who work the desk who are consistently lovely so you can’t base your experience on this woman, but goodness, she’s terrible to deal with. I, personally, own a private medical practice, so I have a point of comparison. What is expected from medical support staff is that they are a compassionate liaison between medical staff and next care scheduling needs. This woman was uninformed and couldn’t read previous appointment times. She implied I hadn’t had my dog see a doctor in a year, when she was just in in May. When I expressed concerns about flea, tick, and heart worm prevention because my golden retriever has had 6! ticks bite on her this week, she told me I must not have given my dog prevention as recommended. I’m sorry, but you’re working as a receptionist at our vet office and you telling me Nexguard is a “reputable company with proven product “ doesn’t land with me when my dog is suddenly covered with deer ticks after 3.5 weeks from her last dose. What a terrible front person for this business. To be clear, every other office worker has been exceptional and the actual care from the docs is great. Do I think they’re expensive and “ nickel and dime you”, 100%. They’re an expensive vet with long wait times and middle of the road service. You won’t get flea and tick prevention unless your dog has been in prior to one year of last service (with a doc, not just for vaccines with a tech), and their office staff can be abrasive and gross to deal with. We only chose this office because it was walkable from our old house and we’re definitely moving on now. When speaking of my experience today with multiple people, they commiserated with me and knew of the exact woman I was speaking about. I hope the hospital removes her from the desk, because she’s horrible and so many people have switched clinics because of her

Negative experience: LACK OF EMPATHY FOR LONGTIME CUSTOMER I have been a long-time customer for Beechmont Pet Hospital. I have my dog’s food on auto-ship from Chewy so it always arrives before she runs out. I noticed it was taking longer than usual so I checked and realized the prescription was no longer authorized. I called the hospital right away and they said they changed policies so they cannot accept the authorization through Chewy but can get her a written prescription. I said thank you and then got a text that the letter is ready for pick up. I was on my way to work so I called them and asked them to email it but they said the could not because they sent me an email the month prior about the policy change (hidden between tons of promotional emails). I begged and pleaded (and cried) for a one time pass as my dog is severely allergic to other foods and just ran out so will not be able to eat all weekend as she is allergic to everything else. I took accountability as a bad pet parent for not realizing sooner but I will never go back to a vet who will let my dog either starve or be horrendously sick because they want customers to give them their money directly and order straight from their portal. I would understand if this was my second time asking but I genuinely did not realize the policy changed as I work 7 days a week and don’t have time to sift through TONS of promotional emails for the one important one otherwise I would have no problem ordering through their portal. Lastly, they did not have the food I needed in their physical store so I HAD to go somewhere else today but regardless they closed before I got off work all I needed was them to email me the paper.

Positive experience: I live 45 minutes from Cleveland and we make the trip to Cincinnati for our huskey’s care. Usually we are very satisfied however, on our last visit they were asked to clip her nails. Once we got home we found that they on cut 3 paws, the other was not clipped. I’m disappointed with this visit.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Meyer is great! She took the time to answer all my questions and was very sweet to my dog Ramona. Definitely recommend Beechmont Pet Hospital. They've always been very affordable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and support staff at Beechmont Hospital are outstanding. I have taken my pets (dogs and cats) there for medical and wellness care for decades. They really love their furry patients. Dr. Fleischli was thorough and compassionate with her exam of both of my dogs. My pups actually love visiting the vet.

From the front desk staff to the techs to the vets, every single person is so kind, helpful, and truly loves our golden boy, Ben. Aimee and Hailee always go above and beyond—they make what could be a stressful vet visit fun and exciting for Ben! He knows he’s going to see his best friends and get showered with love and attention! Dr. Meg is amazing—so warm, sweet, knowledgeable, and thorough. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and makes sure we feel comfortable and confident about Ben’s care. We also adore Dr. Larson and Dr. Seifert, who have been just as wonderful. When Ben broke his toe and unfortunately developed ulcers from the dressing, Dr. Meg, Dr. Seifert, and Dr. Larson saw him every few days to make sure he was healing well. Most recently, Dr. Meg cared for him through several days of GI symptoms, and her compassion and thoroughness put me completely at ease. We’re so thankful for everyone at Beechmont Pet Hospital—they treat Ben like their own and make us feel so supported every step of the way! Thank you Beechmont Pet Hospital!!

Fantastic experience: Everything was great! Zeus was in a good mood, and was trying to give everyone that works there hugs. Our appointment ran smoothly from the time we walked in the door til we went home. Zeus doesn’t see just one doctor here. All of the doctors are great, and I trust them all with Zeus’ health!

Fantastic experience: The vets here are amazing. So are the techs and the receptionists. You can tell they really care about the animals and want what’s best for them. They do a great job with all 4 of my dogs. I feel lucky to have found this office and even luckier that it’s just a few blocks from my house!

We knew George was nearing his forever sleep and all the employees was kind and understanding. I wish we had took him here first. Truly the best vet we've been too. Will be taking all our cats here. Fantastic experience: To say we have a difficult dog is an understatement. We have been seeing another vet for the last 12 years with our dog, and they have not been able to do a proper exam much less blood work or vaccines in that time at all (just an annual visit to get refills). We recently switched to Beechmont Pet Hospital and couldn’t be happier with our experience! They have worked with us on ways to get him properly medicated for visits and for his daily life anxiety. Everyone is always so kind, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were finally able to get blood work done at the last visit! We also had to unfortunately put another one of our dogs down late last year, and they were exceptional through the whole process. I will shout them from the roof tops!! Positive experience: I’ve been taking my animals here for almost 15 years and things have really changed. They used to do complimentary nail clips for my dog. Then they started charging 12 dollars. This week I was charged 20 dollars!! After paying 80 dollars a month for my dog’s allergy shot for 4 years, it was 100 dollars this week. Since they sold out to some corporation they churn through staff so fast I can’t keep track of who is still there and who isn’t, which his a pretty good indication of poor state if the business. Corporate America strikes again!

I have been a long time customer at Beechmont Pet Hospital & would definitely recommend them. Recently one of my super anxious dogs needed a procedure. Dr. Larson, Sara, and the front office staff helped come up with a plan to keep him safe. It went so much better than expected with their planning a guidance. They have a few new veterinarians now and I’ve been equally impressed with the new team members.

Fantastic experience: As usual, all staff members were gracious and helpful. I'm handicapped and I have a aging overweight dog. It's hard enough for me to get around but transporting my dog is a challenge for me and for my dog. I received help getting my dog out of the car and back into the car after her appointment. Knowing Beechmont Pet Hospital staff members love animals makes appointments there a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Sieffert for the first time and she was delightful. She was very professional and listened as well as displayed a lot of empathy for my pet. She is a local town graduate and you can genuinely tell that she loves her job and caring for the pets and allaying the fears of the pet's loved ones.

Fantastic experience: Staff and doctors were kind and caring for our dog as always. Electronic medical records are often not easy and a pathology report on a “lump” removed several years ago was important and I could not accurately remember the wording. The vet tech who checked us in plowed through the record and it took a minute but she found it! I’m sure it was helpful to Dr. Larson too. I really appreciated that extra effort. So far the new electronic scheduler is working well for us too.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Siefert and the team of techs are wonderful!!! Our dog was really struggling on this visit and everyone was amazing from check in to check out. So kind, caring and helpful!

Fantastic experience: This Veterinarian truly cares about the animals they treat. I have been coming here for years and they treat my animals as their own. I always explain everything in great detail. They show an incredible amount of compassion and their services are reasonable. I will never go to another vet to treat my fur babies.

Fantastic experience: I have been to MANY places and can’t say enough good things about BMPH. I’ve been with them for over 8 years and love the staff, love the vets, love everyone there (especially the furry friends they sometimes have up front). I am at peace knowing my boxer and two chihuahuas are always taken care of. They are always excited to see the vet (except one of chihuahuas but she is not a fan of vets from a bad experience somewhere else). A few days ago, my cat had symptoms I won’t describe on here. I called and they somehow had an appointment but I really didn’t think he could wait an hour so I rushed my 16 year old cat there for an emergency appointment they made time for, last minute, at 5pm, which is rare for a vet to do. Typically vets will send you to an emergency vet that late at night but not them. I got there at 4:30 and they took him back almost immediately. He unfortunately passed very shortly after (unfortunately I was expecting this). They made this extremely painful and heartbreaking process easier with their kind words and actions. They even let us leave through a back door instead of going through the lobby because of how upset we were. I highly recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had such positive experiences at the vet, and I couldn't be more grateful for how the entire team made both me and my dog feel at ease. The vets, assistants and admin were equally wonderful. They took the time to make Aspen feel comfortable and showed genuine care. Throughout the visits, I felt supported, and the team’s friendly demeanor really helped to ease my anxiety. It’s so reassuring to know that my pet is in such capable, compassionate hands. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: We took our cat here for routine vaccines and it appears he contracted calicivirus during his visit. After finding him with a bloody nose, we called back and they told us they could not see him back. We took him to a different vet who found that he had a 104 fever and sores in his nose and mouth. It appears there is a lack of sanitization at this vet and your pet may get sick simply from visiting.

Negative experience: After my German shepherd hurt his foot we found out it was broke, their immediate response was it was going to need to be amputated. They splinted it that day, a week later they changed the splint and told us it needed a little ointment from rubbing. A week and half after that splint I took my dog back due to it smelling. It is so severely infected there is a golf ball size hole in his foot on one side and rubbed raw on two other spots. I’m furious as this is NOT due to “licking”. Sent home with just an oral antibiotic. Take the fact they sent us an invoice after telling us in person there was no charge out of the picture. I’m speechless at how horrible my dogs paw and leg is now as a result of their care. I will be calling a different vet first thing in the morning and never returning. I highly suggest any other vet. Update: when trying to seek clarification for how to care for open infected wounds they hung up on me. Absolutely appalling and disgusting.

Negative experience: Kinda gross cleanliness wise. Not sure what your standard is when hiring employees, my suggestion is you raise it. Communication, eye contact, general customer service - completely non existent. Also, mixed up my dog twice with another dog. Doesn’t instill much trust. Won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Beechmont pet hospital is wonderful. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. We called them in a panic regarding our dog, and they were able to give us an anticipated diagnosis and fit us in the following morning. Their prices are fair and they go the extra mile to protect your wallet. Having gone to a few vets prior, they do it best here

Fantastic experience: We changed vets a couple years ago to move to Beechmont for our 4 dogs, and very glad we did. Our Great Dane is high maintenance as she gets older, and they take great care of us with reasonable prices.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hartig and her staff are the best. On Tuesday she probably saved my cat Polly’s life by acting so decisively and urging me to take her immediately to the ER.

Positive experience: The staff is great and always answers my questions and spends time with my furbabies. My only issue is the amount of time I have to wait every time I go there. I don't think I have ever waited less than 15 minutes for an appointment with a stressed out animal. I called one time asking if they were running on time or running late and I was told if I was 10 minutes late, I would have to reschedule. I made it up there, only to wait for a half hour. Why is it okay for them to make customers wait so long in a waiting room with a stressed out animal, but if a patient is running late, you will not be seen? But the techs and the vets are so kind, I keep going back. I just wish they could get the wait times figured out.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always friendly. Multiple ways to schedule appointments, all of them are quick and seamless. Pricing is fair. Have been here for multiple wellness/vaccine checks, nail grooming, and even a minimally invasive cherry eye surgery. This care facility is an absolutely fantastic place to take your dog. Could not recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Beechmont Pet Hospital is absolutely wonderful. They have done so much for all of my pets over the years. We were practically living there when Jarvis developed kidney issues and they were always patient and kind, even though Jarvis was not... Lol. Really can't say enough great things about them. As you can see in the video, Poe is always happy to visit!

Fantastic experience: We recently adopted four young cats and needed a solid vet team. I checked with friends for references and BPH was the overwhelming choice by my local pet friends. They have been incredibly kind and considerate with our cats, which we have been taking in over the past few weeks. I am looking forward to many years of happy and healthy cats

Fantastic experience: I previously had my dog's tooth extracted at Rover the Rhine and it was a nightmare, to say the least. I switched vets, and opted for Beechmont Pet Hospital because of their great reviews. Fast forward a few years later, and unfortunately, my dog ended up with another cracked tooth. I took him to BPH and explained what a nightmare it was bringing him to Rover the Rhine. Grace, the vet. tech., understood my apprehension about everything after my dog's bad experience with RtR. She spent several minutes explaining that they love animals and treat them all kindly. Grace even has a tattoo of a Corgi on her arm which was great to hear (my son is a corgi). We talked about Dr. Wisman's online profile where I learned she has three rescue dogs. All of these things helped put my concerns at ease. Grace brought in water and a blanket for my dog. She allowed me to stay with my dog until he was very relaxed and sleepy from the meds. It was nice to be with my dog and minimize the time he spent alone or in a cage. Dr. Wisman switched the anesthesia because, as we discussed during my consultation, my dog does not appear to do well on ketamine. Dr. Wisman called me after the procedure to assure me everything went well and there were no complications. This was a big relief. The receptionists, especially Cami (?), were great in helping me plan everything, working with me and accommodating me the best they could. They did great dealing with a helicopter dad who had a great many questions and who was very concerned about his son. Overall, my son did SOOOOOOOO much better at Beechmont Pet Hospital and I'm glad I chose them. Thank you all!

Negative experience: My girl has been using you for years but what you just put her through is unacceptable. Absolutely unprofessional to hang up on someone reaching out regarding a refill on a pets medicine. Called yesterday regarding a refill for our cat. We were told that we'll receive a call back as soon as it's ready. This is not the first time we've done this. My girl called today for a followup to see if everything was good to go. She was told that there wasn't a note stating this. The fact that your reception lady thought it was a great idea to hang up. My girl called back and she answered and immediately hang up on her after hearing her voice. This is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Beechmont Pet Hospital have always been kind, helpful, and understanding. Multiple times I have had an emergency come up with my dog and they always do their best to get him in. And of course they always do so well with the animals!

Fantastic experience: Great job. Dr.Meyer and Grace are warm compassionate professionals. They should both receive the warm fuzzy reward .They were both gentle and compassionate towards our cat Sushi.I have been using this pet hospital for over thirty years. Never have I been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Cannot speak highly enough of this practice! Dr. Seifert and Dr. Larson have seen and taken care of our family’s dogs, and have always been so knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful in caring for their needs - both for routine and specific/urgent visit alike. The vets, techs, and support staff truly care so much about pets and their owners - it definitely shows and makes such a difference! So grateful for Beechmont Pet Hospital! :)

Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience at Beechmont Pet Hospital. Dr. Larson and her assistants are great at answering any questions or concerns. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful. Keep up the good work.

Negative experience: Would you pay $1,000 for a teeth cleaning? Me neither, but it cost me $979.56 to get my dog's teeth cleaned - and make him deathly ill in the process. Attempts to get some kind of adjustment were met with stonewalling. This practice is a fee mill, pure and simple. Unless you're either truly desperate or careless with your money, please go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I am impressed with the care not only for my pet but for me and our situation. They are efficient and kind. Madison was thorough with her explanation and was considerate to me and my pet. It was easy to schedule and the service was prompt. So glad we made the change.

Fantastic experience: I can’t tell you how much I’m grateful for all the staff at Beechmont Pet Hospital. They truly care about your companion(s) and they want the best for them whether it’s the front desk staff, Doctors, Vet techs, etc. The staff there are great people and they always make me feel welcome and comfortable! I don’t stay in Cincinnati anymore but I still take my dog to Beechmont even though it’s about a 2 hours drive there.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit was very positive. Quick service, caring staff, and a vet that took time to ask questions and fully understand the concerns we had about our elderly cat. Not only did we walk away feeling positive about the experience and the treatment plan, we were also blown away that it didn't cost us our own arms and legs to pay for the service. While it's a bit of a drive for us, this is our new pet-care home.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Larsen treated one of our beagles for double ear infection, as well as giving her her annual check-up. As always, Dr Katie was gentle, thorough, and explained care and medicine. All techs were wonderful, too!
