Negative experience: Called to make an appointment, unknowing they don't make appointments on Saturday. Person on the phone seemed to have an attitude. Did not answer phone in a professional mannner.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best! They kept me informed and said I could call and check on my girl because they could tell I was worried. Very affordable as well. Best veterinary front office staff! If I could I give them ALL the stars!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous punctuality. What the hell is the point of making an appointment for 4 pm if I'm sitting in the lobby for 1.5 hrs?? I actually sat and waited for 1 hour and 30 mins, people walking in after me and getting called up for their pets 30+ mins after i was supposed to go in. At the exact 1.5 hr mark, i waited to see if i would be skipped again- and surely enough, they call someone elses name. I just left. My cat was sitting in the carrier for almost 2 hours panting and stressed, yowling, thirsty as hell, and these people can't follow a schedule. Never going here again. Would give 0 stars if i could. I don't know if the girl didn't actually confirm me into the schedule when i called ahead and made the 4pm appointment the day before? Or maybe she checked me in as a Walk-In? I have no clue, but regardless, point still stands. I had a 4pm appt and my cat has blood in her urine!! I made the appointment for a reason! Im just disappointed really because we had come in the past and had good experiences, always long wait times like 30+ mins for Walk-Ins, which i expect, but ive never had to wait this long for an appointment i scheduled on the phone ahead of time...

Negative experience: I had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience here! Brought my dog here because her stomach began to swell. Ms Forbes stated she had a large tumor on her spleen based on an X-ray. I was given a total price for the surgery and I paid most of it for the deposit because that’s what they requested. I got a call mid-surgery stating the tumor was actually on the kidney and my dog possibly had cancer as well but she wasn’t sure and Ms. Forbes recommended putting her down and told me the cost of her ashes. Since the surgery wasn’t complete because she euthanized her, I expected I should have gotten some of my money back OR I at least shouldn’t have had to pay anything more. Now they are saying I still owe the remaining balance. She also said she gave me a discount on the surgery since she euthanized her. If that was the case I shouldn’t owe anything! The service was TERRIBLE! It has been a whole month since my dog has been euthanized and I’ve still been dealing with the pricing situation because they’ve been changing prices and giving me the runaround with lack of communication. When I called to discuss the matter they hung up in my face. In person, Forbes dismissed me and told me to never come back to see her. I wish I had never seen her in the first place. She was VERY rude! Now I wonder if my dog could have been saved if she had seen someone else. Izzy at the front desk definitely had compassion and was very helpful, even though this situation was out of her hands. This situation has definitely taken an emotional toll due to poor service, on top of me losing my pet I loved dearly!

Fantastic experience: I came to AVS last week for my fur baby and they were very welcoming and started immediately find answers to my questions, while constantly reassuring me my fur baby will be ok. Dr. Forbes/ Dr. Ketchum and their team took good care of my baby and performed a successful surgery that saved his life. They were sympathetic for my situation, constantly kept me updated on my fur baby, and saved his life. The staff was very sweet to my boy as well. I’m thankful I ended up at this vet and will continue to keep a relationship with them for now on. Fantastic experience: This is the best vet service I've found. Everyone is very friendly, each vet is very knowledgeable with a good "bedside manner", and they're extremely affordable. I came across them when I was in rescue and I've used them ever since. I recommend them to everyone. I happily drive an hour and a half now but it's completely worth it.

Fantastic experience: So please read full review. This place is great, been using & recommending them for over a decade. Carly, omg absolutely just the sweetest thing!! She got with her manager Mary & they reassured me about everything with a pregnant feral stray I was bringing in for spay. I come back to get the cat I name Bea, & I’m greeted with attitude from the same lady soo many ppl have complained on. There was no sign on the west side door stating to come through the front door but she was adamant there was & she let me know in her own was she wasn’t happy. So instead of letting me walk through the lobby like I’ve done before to get to the front, she makes me walk around. Oh well. Get inside, guess who I’m not greeted by but just looked at like I’ve got something drawn on my face. Even tho I don’t work there, I greeted her, told her I was there to get Bea & she wants to go on about not coming through the back door… I let her know once again..there was no sign on the other door stating anything. She is & always has been the rudest employee yall have & idk how she still works there. Next time I will be recording my interaction with her just in case & bring it to higher ups. Negative experience: I took my two cats to Associated Veterinary Services. While one of them was seen, my other cat, Koala, who is naturally anxious, was not examined at all. Dr. Bridget Kidwell dismissed her as “too young” and told me to come back next year with a sedative before the visit, which left me very upset. Every animal deserves gentle care and at least a basic check-up, especially when they are anxious. That said, the other staff were very kind and helpful, which I truly appreciate. Unfortunately, the doctor’s approach left me feeling disappointed and unsupported.

Fantastic experience: I just had to share about the incredible experience I had with the Associated Veterinary Services. If you're looking for vet care, seriously, look no further! I was so impressed with how fast and efficient they were. On top of that, the care was absolutely amazing, and it was surprisingly low-cost. You really can't beat that combination. I highly recommend them to everyone in our community. Your pets will be in great hands!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time nor money! Waited 5 hours just to pay $200 and get nothing in return. They don’t care about their jobs nor do they do them. They need a serious wake up call cause they are just gonna slowly keep losing business with those employees working there. I hope to hear back from the owner!

Negative experience: Came in and asked for a complete full check up they took blood and fecal. Paid $173 just for them to tell me I couldn’t get the heartworm and flea medicine because they didn’t do a heartworm test. Which is done by blood work. Staff is completely rude Expecially abby and front desk lady with glasses. Do not waste yalls money on this place. They only care about money not you’re pets!!

He needed a tooth extraction and the staff was very helpful and sweet to Jojo. His procedure went well and he’s already back home eating again. Can’t thank the doctor and staff enough at AVS!

I cannot give enough positive feedback on the caring, thorough examinations and procedures provided at this clinic. I knew my little dog was in good hands with Dr. Casey Forbes who went out of her way to make my dog’s life much more enjoyable from our very first visit. Her love for and kindness towards animals impressed me greatly. Last week, Dr. Forbes and her team performed a life-saving surgery on my little fur baby. Tumor removal. They did an outstanding job on her. Above and beyond my expectations. I’m so grateful. I recommend Associated Veterinary Services to anyone who needs top notch care that is affordable for their pets.

Fantastic experience: Just brought my dog there. He was a rescue needed his shots and all that stuff when he reached a year. Well they tested him tell me what I needed to give him and took care of everything for his little as possible. If you have a pet that needs medical attention bring them here. You can't get it done anywhere else for cheaper. In fact it's so cheap I would suspect that they are are there funded by the state and or private donors. If you can afford it maybe somewhere else would have quite the way which is the only drawback unless you go very early you will have to wait.

Negative experience: LONG REVIEW - I previously brought my pet here a few years back and was pleased with the services and decided to come back to this vet again for my new pet and i don't know what has changed but … The environment, the lack of caring, the front desk ladies who answer the phones have the worse attitudes and always answer as if it’s a problem to call them. Again…The lack of caring and trying to help is a huge issue for me. My latest problem is that my pet had a procedure and they specifically told me they had to call me back to let me know what type of procedure they were able to provide for my pet. The entire day i did not hear back and i had to call in to follow up. That is when they confirmed which procedure was done and that my pet was in recovery, they gave me a time frame to come get them and while checking out… they could not locate my pet. They had ME walk to the back to see animals locked in kennels to go and find mine. Once “I” located my pet they checked out. Today i call to follow up regarding rabies tag being mailed out because they failed to give it to me initially when i was charged for it, the lady has the nastiest/ sarcastic attitude. They are affordable but also not the best when it comes to just proper communication. I doubt I’ll ever return.

They did an absolutely amazing job with my very large cat, who was not happy about the procedures that had to be done to him. In fact, he was so unhappy he sent one of the girls to the emergency room.

Fantastic experience: The prices cannot be beat. They care about accommodating you and your pet. All of the staff is kind and able to help. It is a super busy clinic!! Plan ahead. You have to keep up with your own matters and make sure you get everything you need! They are great in emergencies and general visits. I am so grateful they are in our community.

Negative experience: While I was out of town, my roommate brought one of my cats in to the emergency vet after she started swelling and drooling on the left side of her mouth. Without doing hardly any oral examination, biopsy, or tests, the ER vet on duty diagnosed my cat with cancer and said she only had a few weeks left to live. After bringing her to a different emergency vet where comprehensive testing was done, the source of her issue turned out to be an ABCESSED TOOTH. Not cancer. A death sentence was given to my cat with no proof to back up the diagnosis. One tooth extraction later she is doing better than ever and THRIVING. Thank GOD I had enough sense to bring her to a different vet for a second opinion. Will not be recommending this vet to anyone I know and will make it a point to tell other people to avoid them at all costs.

Negative experience: My other dog goes here and had great experience however Today i had an urgent situation and had no money. I posted on Facebook and a lady was going to pay for the visit. It's Saturday they close at 2. I get there around 11:45am and the extremely rude much older lady said we have 30 people in front of you we can't see you! I admit there's several ppl there but there's not 30 ppl there! Never had a problem with them in the past. I was horrified how rude and inconsiderate she was! Didn't ask what we were even there for or anything! I'm not sure I'll be returning.

Fantastic experience: The best care that you can get for your pet at the best price! These people are absolute angels. They have done multiple surgeries on several of our pets and I highly recommend them for any vet services you need.

Fantastic experience: Very amazing. My sweet puppy Harley Ann got put to rest due to a blood disorder and avs went above and beyond. I was a wreck when I got the news that it was a 15% survival rate but they worked with me and was so patient till I was able to get my husband on the phone. They made sure my baby was comfortable and didn't rush any of the process to give me time with my sweet angel.

Negative experience: They told me several times to kill my dog as if they didn’t want to give him a chance with the proper care to survive. Some of the older veterinarians in there very much RUDE. If I can rate this clinic out of 10 it would be a 2 only because I have my dog back.

Negative experience: I initially went in to inquire about getting a rescue dog his shots and a wellness checkup. After telling the lady at the front desk my name, current address, phone number, and then handing her my DL, she said that I had a bill owed to them. I asked her the reason, she then stated that there was a bill from back in 2003. She also mentioned a dog’s name that I didn’t recognize. I told her that I had no clue about the bill or what dog she was talking about. I told her and one of the other ladies at the front desk that I wasn’t sure what may have happened all those years ago but I wasn’t going to pay $178 for a 20 something year old bill that I had no knowledge of. They didn’t seem to want to help me in figuring it all out, and denied me service with the dog I had with me. If I knew that it was indeed my bill, I wouldn’t have had any issue with paying it. Their lack of not wanting to discuss the matter or willingness to get up off their behinds to dig deeper by asking a manager what may have happened, was unacceptable to say the least.

Negative experience: They have vet source that delivers medications automatically. Vet source will not cancel an order once it is completed. They said it is because they sent an email to me a week before to remind me. They sent it to my mom's email that had passed away a month ago. It is absolutely ridiculous that they can't cancel an order the same day it was completed. I called immediately and they just couldn't do anything about it. Stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and I walked in and was seen very quickly at 9 am I love the reasonable prices and that is why I came to them for my dogs teeth cleaning and have an apt for dec 5th

Negative experience: Brought my girl in to get spayed, micro chipped etc. she came home and after a few days developed kennel cough. I was told it probably wasn’t kennel cough because “they don’t see it that much there” and that it was more than likely heartworms. Heartworm test came back negative and they basically gave me no explanation and made me pay for the vet visit and medications, they didn’t want to admit she had kennel cough either. It just didn’t make sense that I had to pay for anything because she caught something she SHOULD NOT HAVE being boarded and at veterinary clinic. (My girl isn’t around other animals ever, this was her first time around other dogs in months)

Negative experience: Third time coming and the wait time is ridiculous!! I was told about 30 minutes before my pet visited the doctor but each time it’s been over 2 hours. Several people have come after me but was given a room before my pet. AVS you’ve got to do better!!

Fantastic experience: Took my dog to get his manlies chopped, the staff was super friendly and made it an easy process. They also clipped his nails while he was there and I'm so grateful I didn't have to wrestle him myself to do it

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my pup here for a few years now. The are very reasonable on prices and you can tell true animal lovers work there. They have always made me feel welcome. I would recommend going early or scheduling an appointment. They do take walk ins which is great, but more towards the afternoon they get fairly busy.

Fantastic experience: I have a golden retriever who cut his paw on glass running through the yard. He nicked an artery blood was everywhere, very scary for us! They took him straight to the back did emergency surgery we had to pick him up 3 hours later! We got his meds there which was awesome!! One stop shop!! They didn’t hurt my pocket book either!!! I LOVE the place, they really LOVE animals!!

Fantastic experience: We had to put our fur baby down and we were recommended this location. It was extremely busy but the nurses and doctors took the time to make sure we were ok and went at the pace we needed to say goodbye. It was an emotional and very hard time but they were so compassionate and kind, they treated him with respect before and after his passing. A little bit after he passed we received a letter from them saying how sorry they were for our loss. That meant a LOT and we were extremely appreciative of this kind gesture. We highly recommend this vet!

Fantastic experience: Hi! my name is Ashleigh. I just wanted to share a recent experience. My aunt came by a few days ago with her dog Sammy. She spoke so highly of the staff, one young lady in particular. I believe her was Diamond. She was greeted by the young lady as soon as she walked into the building. The young lady had the biggest smile on her face. She was warm and welcoming which was important to my aunt, being that this was her first time bringing Sammy. Nowadays it’s hard to come across kind people or even people that want to work or take pride in their job. My aunt also spoke positively about her wait time and the prices.

Positive experience: Well the price was okay not cheap for sure. The check up was a hundred dollars and she took poop sample his blood and gave him his shots that was it. I’m pretty sure he has ear mites but she gave him a 40& prescription for yeast in his ears. Which hasn’t worked and we were there from. 11:00 am till 2;30 pm. Oh everyone was really nice though except the girl behind the counter was rather rude. But that didn’t bother me I didn’t want to talk to her either.

Fantastic experience: Can always get in without appt, but better to make one so you don't feel quite as rushed. They are always very nice and helpful and prices are much lower than many other vets. I just wish they would take Care Credit or some other way to make payments when the bill does happen to get up there due to a serious illness or surgery.

Positive experience: Been going to AVS since 2018. I absolutely loved this place. Unfortunately, lately the staff seems to be in a rush and come off rude when you ask any questions about your pet. They just give you whatever fastest answer they can to dismiss you immediately. Lately every visit my doggo's had has been this way. I have no other complaints. Just wish they were more patient and understanding. But overall this is a great place to bring your pet.

Positive experience: Good prices on their services, but vet did not even introduce herself so I thought she was just a tech coming in to give my dog shots. Definitely make an appointment otherwise you will wait a long time if you just do a walk in for a service.

Fantastic experience: The best doctors, the best prices, the most professional staff, and I would say nothing but five stars and good things. I've been there twice this week I had to go Tuesday for my dog's annual and we were treated exceedingly well by the doctors and the techs. Had to go back today because my dog, Faithful, broke one of his dog claws, it was tender and he was in a lot of pain. They gently diagnosed him, sedated him, and then they cut off the broken claw. They treat my dog the way I treat him, with love and care. From the minute you call on the phone 'til the minute you leave the door, nothing but good things can be said about their staff and facility. Thank you associated veterinary services.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Dagget took great care of my dog. Was extremely concerned, passionate, and patient explaining everything. When I called to check on my dog they were very polite and professional. Nobody made me feel like I was wasting their time. They definitely just got another customer because I will be switching over care to them from here on out.

Fantastic experience: I brought my dog, Mortimer, in because he tangled with a cat or opossum and got a bit scratched up. He was limping and just seemed to feel awful. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff was great as well. I only had to wait for about 2 hours, but as a walk in at 3 pm, I thought that wasn't bad, as they were slammed. Extra upside - I got to see a wagon full of pit puppies! A+

Positive experience: I called to see if they took walk-ins, which they do. I took my little furry friend in for their yearly check-up. Parked outside in a numbered spot. There's plenty of parking space. Check them in. They called when it was their turn to see the vet. The visit went well. They were definitely patient with my furry friend. Prices were okay. The staff were friendly.
