Fantastic experience: Brought in our 16 yr old Shih Tzu. The staff was so kind and gave him a warm spa treatment for his arthritis. And very gently spoke about planning his End of Life plan. Something no one wants to discuss but the vet did it in a very caring way.

Positive experience: Lindsey the shift lead is horrible to deal with. Just stay in the back and don't talk to customers. As someone who runs jobs with 4k+ employees her attitude would get her removed from job sites, and talking with customers like she does no thanks. Everyone else cool as hell hence the loss of only 2 stars

Negative experience: Banfield is completely untransparent and runs a predatory wellness plan. They lock you into a contract without clearly explaining the terms, then make it a nightmare to cancel. It feels intentionally misleading and focused on squeezing money out of customers rather than caring for pets. This is a shady, corporate operation with poor communication and zero accountability. Save yourself the headache and go to a real, local vet.

Negative experience: I have been with Banfield about 7 years and never had an issue until this past year. Ton of staff changes. As a result, customer service has gone downhill. This year, I had a poor experience with my dogs dental cleaning. There were scheduling issues, staff was rude when I showed up at the agreed upon time because they never notified me that they changed her time the day before my appointment. The vet found a cracked tooth but didn’t call me to see if I wanted to have it removed so now I have to wait until next year. I was told they would have someone call me about my experience but they never did. I will not be taking her back to the Easton location.

Negative experience: I used to love Banfield. But honestly their staff seems miserable, they shuffle staff faster than I shuffle a deck of cards, and the care is inconsistent. Earlier this year our dogs cancer was missed (and luckily caught when I took him for a second opinion). Honestly our dog shakes when we pull up to the Banfield. Meanwhile when we go to other facilities, he enthusiastically runs in.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION !! I was told by the vet that my 1yr old frenchie would rupture and pass away in the night and assured me that euthanasia made sense because he was in So much pain and had rectal bleeding and looked “ dumpy” But when I was out of the room ( still on speakerphone with my friend which she did not know ) the veterinarian told my friend to have me sign my frienchie over to her and she would take him home and give him meds and that my frienchie would belong to her. Giving meds was never an option that was given to me. We did take my frenchie home but I was in shock that she wanted to take my dog. This is the very short version of this story trust me it was a very emotionally traumatic situation and I will never take my furbabies to this location

Fantastic experience: Dr Bancroft and his staff were professional and thorough in every way. From the moment we were checked in to the time that we were called to pickup our pet post-surgery, we were treated with respect and kindness. Fantastic experience: Everyone at the awesome is amazing and willing to help! My dog Daisy is super anxious, pants a lot and gets easily overwhelmed. Cherokee made sure that Daisy was supported and that she was comfortable before being examined and having her shots. Very thankful for the team going the extra bit for my comfort and my dogs.

Fantastic experience: I've always had a very positive experience with Banfield Animal Hospital, regardless of location. But let me tell you something, the team at Easton (inside PetSmart) is AMAZING!!!!! They all LOVE my dog, GHOST; they are genuinely excited to see him, I even bring him by for pets when we're in PetSmart to shop! The technicians & doctors are SECOND TO NONE! They are patient and answer all of my questions; explain all care requirements in great detail, but easy enough for me to comprehend; always flexible with scheduling (and they remind me), don't get mad when I'm constantly late; follow-up with me; make outstanding recommendations; helped me pick out the Wellness Plan that was write for me; they accept CareCredit, which allows me to be more aggressive with spending on veterinary services; and what I love the most is that they put in the extra effort to highlight & note & put stickies on my dog's care summary for the things I'm worried about! 11/10 – STRAIGHT-UP: I moved recently and there is another location 0.1 miles from us, but I will NEVER leave the Team at Banfield Easton!

Negative experience: They don’t know what they’re talking about, will tell you one thing one minute and then the opposite the next. They’ve made it a nightmare for me to pick up my dog’s prescription that one of their own doctors prescribed. I don’t recommend going to them.

Negative experience: This clinic location is so unprofessional and petty. Not only did I have an issue a couple of months ago where my very sick dog was refused to be seen due to an ERROR on his account. But even after hearing from the manger and clinic director, who stated they would re-train the staff, the staff was once again unprofessional today! They refused to authorize my pets food medication request from Chewy, claiming that it’s ohio Law that they see the pet before authorization. And even though they refused to see him, he was seen by Banfield in Westerville and they said that clinic would have to do the authorization! Needless to say, I will never give them another chance! My business is not their priority and my pet HEALTH is definitely not either!

Negative experience: My sister brought her dog to Banfield Hospital at Easton Market to get tested for diabetes. Dropped off her dog at 9:30am and was told he should be ready around 1/2pm. Her dog was there for EIGHT hours! And there's every indication that he was in a crate for most of that time, alone, with minimal care or attention. She wasn't given updates or basic information whenever she asked for it and the receptionist was less than helpful. After the entire day, when she finally picked her dog up, no one even spoke to her about the results. She asked to speak to the vet, and was told they were “too busy” and the clinic was understaffed. Being understaffed is not an excuse to ignore communication with pet owners, especially when you’re dealing with a newly diagnosed condition like diabetes. You go to a vet to get answers — not to be handed a packet printed from Google with no explanation or plan of care. Please take your furry loved ones anywhere else but here!

Negative experience: This was by far the worst vet experience I’ve ever had. I brought my dog to Banfield Hospital at Easton Market to get tested for diabetes. Dropped off my dog at 930am and was told he should be ready around 1/2pm. My dog was there for about eight hours — and I strongly suspect my dog was in a crate for most of that time, alone, with minimal care or attention. The receptionist was completely unprofessional, constantly repeating “I’m only the receptionist” anytime I asked for an update or basic information. After an entire day, when I finally picked my dog up, no one even spoke to me about the results. I asked to speak to the vet, and was told they were “too busy” and the clinic was understaffed. I would have to wait longer than I had already waited… Being understaffed is not an excuse to ignore communication with pet owners, especially when you’re dealing with a newly diagnosed condition like diabetes. You go to a vet to get answers — not to be handed a packet printed from Google with no explanation or plan of care. I could’ve done that myself at home. To make matters worse, I was told the vet, Dr. Kaufman, was going on vacation for two weeks immediately after. No follow-up, no contact, nothing. I walked away feeling helpless and angry, with no resources or guidance, and my dog — who had been crated alone all day — was stressed and still untreated. He is now in great hands and going to a legit vet who cares. Never again. Total waste of time, money, and trust. Go anywhere else.

Negative experience: When I first started coming to Banfield about six years ago, it was wonderful. I Never had a problem until this past year. When my dog had a cyst on his abdomen they did labs not a problem but when the results were in as I could see on my Banfield app , No one called me to tell me the results. I called three times to have someone call me back to give me the results. I left messages with front desk to please call me with results , it could have been cancer . I also had an appointment that apparently was “canceled “ due to the doctor being ill yet I had no missed calls or messages. They claimed they called and could not leave a message, but that was untrue (smart phones hello, I have proof) ! Not knowing my appointment was canceled that morning I walked in for the appointment at the appointed time , not knowing it was canceled and They even checked me in and had me sit down for 15 minutes to then tell me my appointment was canceled and they were tried call me . How can I check in at an appointment that was canceled earlier that day ? this happened not one occasion,but 2 different times. Needless to say after six years, I am canceling my Banfield membership, it’s not worth it .

Fantastic experience: The Easton’s Banfield is the GOAT! Hands down the best vet team to exist—friendly, caring, competent, and willing to work hard. My dog, Baxter, has very special needs in order to visit the vet. This team is willing to accommodate him in a way that does not even feel like it is out of the ordinary for them; like it’s a normal day for them. They communicate with compassion, and honesty. Dr. Bancroft, Vanessa, Cherokee, and the rest of the team have a life-long personal and will refer anyone to them! Keep it up, Easton Banfield, you all are amazing!

Fantastic experience: I been to numerous Vets and was never explained in full detail as Banfield did. My cousin that was murdered and passed away helped get me my dog so I have a deep emotional connection to my chihuahua her name is Princess. She having anal gland issues and I've spent thousands over the 8 years I have had her. Banfield made me feel good and provided my heart and mind relief as I was afraid I would have to put her down and I have been stressed out at home and work over this. Negative experience: We used to recommend Banfield and the wellness plan. Now I'm stuck in a contract paying for something of no value for another year. I've been taking my oldest dog here for nearly 7 years and our younger dog his entire four years. Service has greatly gone down hill over the past 1-2 years. Everything has become transactional and it takes forever to even just drop a pet off. We've tried leaving feedback in the past, but its mostly been dismissed. Corporate greed has hit hard here. We often leave without any questions answered as we're usually told "you'd have to spend more money for more tests" and when I ask okay what are you going to do with the results and how does it impact your treatment recommendations, often times the answer is "it won't". We used to think the wellness plan was a cost-saving benefit, but after doing some comparison it's actually costing us more than if we just went to a traditional vet. I also didn't realize I was locked into a contract and it would cost hundreds of dollars to cancel. Guess we're stuck taking out dogs to this hellscape. p.s. - their vetchat is a joke/sales gimmick.

Fantastic experience: My pets are always well taken care of when I take them to Banfield. I pay for their Optimum Wellness plan, which lets me pay monthly to cover the cost of my dogs’ vet visits. I only pay for lab work and medication they are prescribed, which is significantly less than I would pay at other places. The staff always treat my dogs with care and are happy to see them when they arrive. One of my dogs has chronic kidney disease and the vets here helped put him on a prescription diet that has significantly increased his quality of life and has almost definitely extended it. Appointments are easy to make and the app makes it easy to keep track of records and get information when needed, including the 24/7 vet chat included with the wellness plan.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to banfield 18 years ever since I had my first dog (he passed away 3 years ago). I got a new puppy cuz I was heartbroken after my Chico died. For the most part they are really good but recently they missed 2 shots my Gizmo was past due for and I was upset about that. The payment plan is reasonable and the wellness plan covers everything pet needs.

Negative experience: Had to put my 17yr old cat down today, , first told me a fee on the phone and then it was 80.00 more, then tryed to get more money out of me for everything, which I couldn't , sadly, they put me in a room several people came in different times to go over everything again! I've had animals put to sleep before and NEVER WENT THREW WHAT I DID TODAY!, then I waited a hour, crying and holding my fur baby had to go to the desk to see how much longer, while he didn't even tell them u was ready cause then when he saw me he went into there office and they were sitting there and said "tiny is ready" Tiny has been ready! He never told them, they all kept calling him a her! Finally they said ok we will get him, I said now? I'm just not going to leave him on the table! Oh she did then come with me and I was supposed to get a refund of some of my money and they never did!!! I left praying he still isn't being taking care of, cause I had to leave to get my granddaughter and couldn't stay. Don't ever take your animal there, it's all about money and not about the care of your precious animal especially at this time of need! Honest to God!

Negative experience: BEWARE don’t take your dog there my dog was very ill I called to see could they get her in immediately they had no availability until the following week and I have been going to this vet since I had my dog! The rep said our other location has availability so I called the forest hill location she told me that the rep from Easton lied to you we are completely booked to the middle of next week no I was furious no location could see my dog until the following week the rep informed me that I should call med vets and that it was 200 dollars just to walk my dog threw the door plus everything else ! I was determined that I had to find a good reliable vet ! I found a vet that got my dog instantly if had not to my dog there that day my dog would be dead I was informed if I waited on Banfield a week out for appointment my dog would not be here it’s disgusting how banfield hospital is and none in Columbus had a opening I would not recommend them at all there not reliable! Also do not purchase there plans they will take your money and nothing is barely covered under the plan you will come out spending 200 or more each time with there dog insurance! They will take advantage of you and don’t care about you or the dog find a neighborhood vet trust me ! Cause waiting on appointments a week out from Banfield when your dog is very ill your dog not might not be here like mine almost was !

Negative experience: Very disappointed. So unprofessional! Had my appointment for neuter from weeks ago and they called me 45 min before the appointment to confirmed they can’t do it because the person doing it got sick. Why am I paying all that money and you guys don’t even have a replacement on duty? Now they also said the dental cleaning is not included when I saw it in an email that it is. I am definitely not renewing my plan and will look for another vet.

I repeat they were paid for a year even though my pet received no additional service. And they were told their service was no longer wanted a year later. Do not get this plan.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bancroft is absolutely incredible. When our concerns were ignored by the vet at the Westerville location, I changed to the Easton market location. I explained to Dr. Bancroft that our dog was at the pet hotel and was acting different with discharge in his eye. Dr. Bancroft listened to my concerns and ran a lab sample for my dog. Dr. Bancroft reviewed the lab results and urged us to go to MedVet right away due to Rory’s abnormal platelet count, liver enzyme values and fever. While at MedVet he had a fever of 105, causing him to be shaved on his legs, and received high flow oxygen. After Rory’s 7 day stay at MedVet, Dr. Bancroft continued to show his support and care of our pets wellness. He scheduled several follow up appointments to continue to follow Rory’s abnormal lab values until they stabilized. He also was able to catch the ulcer in Rory’s eye as a result of the medication he had to take from his MedVet stay. He continues to show such concern for our pets well being. If we did not listen to Dr. Bancroft’s guidance, we would have probably lost our boy. Photo the day we picked him up from MedVet and photo now that he has stabilized. Fantastic experience: My parents are over the road trucker drivers and needed a same day appointment for vaccines before they left out of that area, this hospital was willing to squeeze him in and they were very nice and understanding about it! The doctor was great with Lenny, and my parents left very satisfied with the visit!

Positive experience: It's okay. This company is run by a corporation so they are going to want to get you into their wellness plan. The wellness plan can get quite comprehensive depending on what level you select. The pricing for the plans isn't totally unreasonable and the goal is to get you to pay them money each and every month. If you decide to cancel the plan, like I did, be prepared to pay the remainder of your balance (this is not a bad thing, just something to consider). Overall the staff was kind and professional. They did pressure me into signing up for the plan. At the the time I thought it was a great idea but later did the math and determined that it was cheaper to pay for the same services upfront elsewhere. They have good vets and good vet techs. I would personally recommend a local, non corporate, establishment to take my pets to.

Negative experience: I have been with this pet care service for 14 months my female dog was due for her pill in April they told me I had to pay for it in which I assumed it was with the contract I paid for in which half the months I never used also with the plan they was supposed to tell me what kind of dog she was but never did. I Feel the hospital got more money than her care.

Negative experience: Dropped off my dog for a regular check up and vaccines at 8:45 am. Haven’t heard from them in a while so I called at 2:30 pm and they said he hasn’t even been looked at yet. So he’s been sitting by himself for almost 6 hours. Don’t know if he got fed or gave water. Crazy enough 30 minutes later we get a call saying he’s ready. I feel like if we didn’t call he would’ve been here until close. Also after we got home on the report apparently he has some dental issue that no one brought up at the clinic. Usually have a good time with them but this experience was just bad.

Fantastic experience: My Morkie was having serious issues and needed intervention ASAP. Dr. Bancroft and his team got him in so quickly and went over his plan of care with me and were able to perform surgery to help him with such fast turnaround whereas everywhere else directed me to the ER only and we are forever thankful for how thorough, caring, and professional everyone was. I cannot recommend this place and Dr. Bancroft enough it was a truly exceptional experience!

Negative experience: Banfield Pet Hospital is a scam! I tried canceling my plan and the representative told me in order to cancel my plan I would need to pay off the balance from my previous visit (which I was told was free and included in with the wellness plan). So basically in order for me to cancel the plan, I’d have to refund them the money for what’s included in the wellness plan. Not to mention, this office particularly needs a SERIOUS deep cleaning I’ve brought my 5 month old shih tzu puppy to this location multiple times and both times the office smelled like dirty pet laundry. I understand to prevent this can be a challenge but it is do- able. There are also a lot of these little bugs in the facility.

Fantastic experience: This location is my favorite for a number of reasons. The reception staff is amazing, I specifically want to thank Hope for answering all of my questions and making sure the appointment was set up properly for my dogs needs. Dr. Floreani is the absolute best vet and my dog never feels anxious coming to this location to see any of the doctors as they take such great care of him. Positive experience: Went to the doggy Cuttin’ Corral. They’re pricey but we’re very good my pupper. He came back looking like the sharp dressed canine he is, bandana and all. They’re sometimes very busy and the cut will take a while but they’ve always done a good job. Would recommend!

Negative experience: Absolutely do not sign up for a wellness plan unless you plan on sticking with it through the whole year. Otherwise, they make you pay for the whole thing up front. Cancelation options are not disclosed to the customer. Now I have to pay $310 just to switch vets.

Negative experience: Took our kitten to get spade. When she got home she wouldn't eat and seemed lethargic but they assured us she would get better in 1 to 2 days. By the time we rushed her to emergency vet it was too late. She died 48 hours after surgery. Wouldn't trust them with my worst enemy.

Positive experience: I have grown up with animals but I now have my own dog. Banfield is the first vet I took my dog to. From the start I felt like they were only worried about the money they can make from my pet. My puppy had issues when I got her and instead of addressing them first I got a rundown on the wellness plan. The vet tech walked me through the cost of everything instead of taking care of my dog first. Every single visit has been focused on the money and not on my baby. However, there is one employee who remembers my dog and calls her by name every time we come in! It’s great! When I call I get put on hold and have to hang up and call back. I’ve waited 20 minutes on hold before I realized that I was going to have to call back. It is very much a corporate chain vibe. They feel scripted and not super personal. The only vet that I have ever had a really awesome experience with is the female vet and I have only seen her once, I haven’t had the pleasure of having her treat my baby since. She answered all of my questions and was so personable!! I am quite indifferent about my experience overall. My pet is healthy now but I never feel comfortable bringing her in there.

Fantastic experience: Alize'(Zayy) I had been going to Banfield since, she was 8 weeks old. They have always treated us good, kept her updated with her shots, comprehensive appt.and any other thing that may be going on with her. Although, we have moved to Columbus OH. from Cincinnati OH. I know things are going to be just as well. By the way Alize' is 9 years old.

Negative experience: called to talk to a vet about my kitten having a mildly snotty nose. receptionist didn’t redirect me to a vet and chose to respond to my concern instead. told me that my kitten “could have chlamydia or something worse and she could fall into a coma and die”. i obviously freak out and rush her in only to find out she has a mild URI which goes away on their own. im really unhappy and feel taken advantage of. i will be switching vets

Negative experience: Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend to everyone. Our dog had a procedure done without our knowledge and it came back positive for a stomach parasite. The medicine would’ve been fairly expensive and so we asked for a second opinion and it came back negative. Felt like they just wanted to get as much money as possible but we are not likely to recommend them to friends.

Negative experience: Had my card listed on my niece's account because I took her furbaby there on her first visit to start the plan and at least have their intial shots before transporting them from TX to OH. They continue to charge my card after I've called in repeatedly and told them to remove my card. They know whose account it belongs to. Call and get a new damn card listed and remove mine. Next time I see a monthly charge everyone is getting cussed out and I'm going to pursue legal actions as they continue to charge after they've been told not to.
Positive experience: Other than sometimes being super busy on drop off and pick up. They are very kind and knowledgeable! Sometimes it can be expensive but put your pet on a wellness plan and it helps!

Positive experience: The vet care is great. However, whenever I call I’m always on hold for well over 10 minutes. I always have to end up calling from another number and making them take my call. They need to find a better way to manage calls and in person service. I’ve been to several other locations and this is the only one with this issue that I know of.

Negative experience: Took our newly adopted cat to this location as that’s where the shelter had taken him (another location). Before our cat had even gone in to his exam, one of the techs was already telling us what was wrong with him, and he hadn’t even looked at him yet, which seemed extremely odd. We brought him in, and upon arrival he got scared and peed a little in his carrier. We were not able to go in with him, and after his booster and exam, they dropped him off with us and told us he was “soaked pretty badly.” Instead of giving him a quick wipe down, they let him sit in his own urine for the rest of the visit, until we could get him home and cleaned up. We were there for another 20-30 minutes waiting and getting medications until we could leave. The vet even said “he was pretty grumpy when we had to put him back in there,” “there” being the crate wet with urine. I would be grumpy too. Wouldn’t entrust them with our pets again.

Concerned because my dog wasn't pooping. Is now Wednesday morning about 1 a.m. and STILL have NOT received a call back. VERY disappointed!

I brought my dog in with a swollen face, literally started to swell out of nowhere, and I live 2 minutes away, she really tried to book me out 8 days later. I was standing there with my dog. Not doing this ever again. My dog deserves a vet that cares. I'm canceling all of my 4 dogs' coverage.
