Fantastic experience: I brought in my little angel Suki, a lemon beagle female to get spayed and this place, top to bottom is absolutely the best choice I could have made. The staff was all 100% professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and we're exceptional at the most important aspect of any business, no matter what it is, and thats commuication. From the moment you walk in, you get information and it doesnt stop even after you leave. Very comforting to pet parents that are worried about the little babies. I will always recommend this place and only have good happenings here. If you are on the fence then you need to leap on in and you'll see how truly great this place is.

Fantastic experience: They were great and reasonably priced. My only negative comment was they took my dogs back for vaccinations and I wasn't able to go with them. I usually like to go with my dog and comfort them while getting their shots.

Fantastic experience: Well run, organized and friendly staff. Wish their parking was better. To be fair we did just get almost a foot of snow. Highly recommend. Was the most reasonable priced neuter for my cat, Midi. If another stray adopts me I will not hesitate to use them again.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous to get my kitty fixed but carol house called me back in timely manner and we set an appointment a couple months in advanced which was perfect timing for my kitty. He was fixed Monday and carol house did an amazing job for a great price! My kitty is doing great and bouncing back quickly! They even called to check on him today!

Negative experience: Place is a joke, go elsewhere. I told them my dog was 6 and they put she was 8 so they could make money off labwork. Appointments are 3 plus months out. Now they want x-rays for her limp from her car accident ..how much more money do you want me to spend when I can go elsewhere and have NONE of these requirements. Nah. Save your money folks.

Fantastic experience: Have been here for a few animals for spay and neuter they def do amazing work also had very clean establishment, and waiting area super friendly staff and the surgeries are done by the loving caring experts you can seriously tell they do it for the love/well being of your pet and put your animal first!

Fantastic experience: The employees are kind and compassionate. The process was easy and the prices are low enough to allow most citizens to take care of their pets or ferals. The vets do an exam, spay/neuter, rabies shots, ear tagging, microchips, and more. I took 4 feral cats here and they are in good health, got the surgery, ear tagging, and microchip. The ear tag identifies the pet as being cared for, spayed/neutered, and microchiped. Well, it's official, I'm the owner of 4 feral kittens! Might call and check the status of operations because a car ran into their building. Last minute end-of-year tax donations? Don't forget these kind people and what they do - helping people keep the feral animal populations low.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my niece’s cat fixed for a reduced rate that was affordable for my family. Carol House staff did great with her and she’s recovering well. Super grateful to have them within our community.

As a broke barely 20 year old with 2 tiny kittens I got off Facebook, to a semi broke 31 year old rescuing cats off the street, ill keep supporting the clinic as long as they'll be around.

Positive experience: Great place for cheap and good quality service. Got lucky with reserving a spot for vaccines that we desperately needed in a timely manner. Communication was not the best as they are a busy location and limited staff. They still got back to me as long as I left a message or emailed them. Visit was quick and easy and gave us info we needed.

Negative experience: My understanding of a vet is to help all animals. Clearly this particular practice isn’t devoted to this. When a pre made appointment is made for two dogs to be fixed a month and a half in advance I might add, and then turned away at the door, this tells me one thing. It’s unprofessional and damn right rude. I will not use this vet and I will pass this on to all of my friends. A vet should not be picky about which animals it treats because the last time I checked any living creature deserves help. I suggest you either get your house in order or find another job. I’m disgusted!!!

Negative experience: If you don't work with exotic animals then why would you wait until the day of the appointment to say anything. That doesn't make sense or logical at all. Wolfdogs are not exotic animals and why would you wait until the day of the appointment to say anything. If you didn't want to work with Wolfdogs then you should have said something before the appointment was scheduled. Waiting until the day of the appointment do say that you don't work with Wolfdogs is extremely unprofessional. So you should have been honest from the beginning and not waiting until the last minute like you did.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. Clearly biased towards wolfdog owners. Waiting until client arrives with two wolfdogs to an appointment scheduled weeks beforehand then stating that they do not treat exotic animals!!!!! Not only did they not inform the owner before they arrived, they had the audacity to meet them on the steps of the building to turn them away. The owner had previously had a wolfdog treated here and had donated food, puppy pads and other items. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.

Negative experience: Wolfdogs are not exotic animals and should not have been turned away from being fixed! Especially after they had an appointment and have been treated there before. Very unprofessional!!!

Negative experience: If I can give this place -10 's I would. What kind of place refuses someone after they made the appointment and had already taken care of one of the other dogs they have. Not just did they refuse them, this place waited until they showed up with their babies and would not allow access. The person that they refused donated so much stuff that any clinic or shelter could have used and would have been most appreciative to get. They didnt mind donating it because it was thw right thing to do. The clinic did not do thw right thing and I am so glad I know this now so I can let everyone I know DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!!!! They are cheap for a reason!!! They do not care about the welfare of the babies they only care about themselves and what they can get for free. In looking at the "What services did you get?" One option is exotic animals. What do they consider exotic? Theses were dogs and the owner was told we dont take exotic animals. Like I said..They neutered one of the babies and would not do the others. And they could not tell them before hand. Shame on them for this lousy service. (Or lack of service and compassion)

Negative experience: This place is a joke. If you don’t service exotic animals let someone know when they schedule the appointment not when they show up to the appointment. I think this was a personal attack on Wolfdogs and Wolfdogs owners. You went from praising wolfdogs to saying that you don’t serve them.

Fantastic experience: I want to congratulate this place for the vocation and willingness to serve that they give not only to their patients, but also to us, the pet owners, who are more than pets, they represent a member of the family to us and for this reason we always want the best for them. My cat was spayed last August 21st. I was really nervous but it calmed me down to see that she received quality care and a smooth recovery. I truly recommend it and I hope that they continue to provide their valuable service to the community.

Fantastic experience: Got my 6 month old puppy spayed there, the facility was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful! We’ve had no issues with the wound, and our puppy did end up licking off a scab. We called the emergency number just in case and they got back to us within the hour we called, so they’re definitely on top of responding quickly. I would recommend this facility if you have a pet that needs to be spayed or neutered! Their after visit instructions are very clear and answer a lot of questions, but they still go over them with you and let you ask questions if you have any. No complaints! Thanks Carol House!

Fantastic experience: Very appreciative that Carol House is avaliable. They work with lower income situations and have always taken wonderful care of my fur babies.

Fantastic experience: Check in process was smooth and quick. Something to note- the email instructions give you an arrival time and says to arrive 45m-1hr early. They do not let you in until 7:30 and we arrived an hour prior to the arrival time listed. I noticed a couple others early arrival and one was even there before me. There is a place where you create a line in front of the building. They will usher you in, give you a slip lead, and walk you along every step in the process. Registration and payment was simple and they offer other extremely affordable necessities such as microchip, heartworm, flea and tick prevention, as well as medication to keep those wild puppies calm post-op. They have two different types of collars to choose from all at an affordable rate. I was stress sweating but felt comfortable knowing we were prepared!! Thank you Carol House Quick Fix and sponsors!! You've allowed this low income family's beloved furry member quality services.

Fantastic experience: They fixed my six month old kitten for1/4 of the cost being charge by local vets. But don't think you will receive substandard service, these folks are remarkable. The quality of care was excellent, and unlike many other places, the staff is totally committed to animals.

Positive experience: The people were great, sweet and understanding. Everything was great my only concern is the healing of her incision and tattoo was very very sloppy. As a tattoo artist to see the chicken scratch of a tattoo (which there’s no ink in. So it’s just a pink scar now) made me livid. I understand what they do is fast paced and they do as many as they can but have some compassion for the animals you treat.

Fantastic experience: I took my 9 month old cat in today for a spay. Everyone at the clinic was very helpful and kind. Taking my cat in to be fixed was emotionally stressful for me and the kindness of the staff really went a long way :) My cat was handled with care and her incision looked really good. I highly recommend this clinic, and please show them some love and donate. They provide a critical service to our community.

Fantastic experience: Thanks Carol house! Fell in love with a stray female kitten and didn't want to pay 300+. Dropped her off at 8 am and picked her up at 4 pm. The procedure was affordable there. I would recommend them to everyone on a budget. Two thumbs up!!

Fantastic experience: WARNING! Still rating 5 cause they have and do a good job BUT if your pet has any serious medical background they will more than likely NOT take your animal in for surgery. This was not mentioned over the phone and if it is mentioned on the website it needs to be one of if not THE first thing that needs to be mentioned.

Negative experience: I was standing in line waiting to get my dog registered so she can get fixed. Young slim African American Female said social distancing and kept repeating it several times. I was at the green cone as I was instructed to be at. She kept saying social distancing to me. I told her I am social distancing. Even though I know St Louis County does not require these measures. I am very good at kenistics which include body language, verbal, nonverbal and so much more me being an ex officer picked up on these things. I believe she was racist towards white individuals. My alarm company called me to tell me that my dog's tag was scanned. We have these on all our labs. I am unsure why someone would scan her dog tag that has a QR Code on it. Carol House has been great until this episode. As I was picking her up I watched a video as I was instructed to. I couldn't take the overwhelming smell of what smelled like cat urine. I told the worker I will be stepping out of that room. The lady in front of me that we will call (Karen) kept saying that I was one of the last individuals. The worker said no he watched the video. He had a medical problem that's why he left the room. She said it twice thinning another person would override what the worker said to her. . They shuttle you in like cattle and the least thing they could have done is opened up the door since it was cold outside. But they waited to the second to open up the doors. I hope next time I have a great experience with Carol House. I also have a boat load of emails and calls people never responded back to me. One person quoted me 35 00 while another kept persisting 199 dollars. My mother had a check made out as a donation to Carol House because we know they do so much for the community. 1-16-2025 .

Fantastic experience: We took my mom's dog here for a fix surgery and the staff were so helpful and sweet .. They made sure he felt at ease with them . We are actually taking her other dog here in February to get him fixed as well . I would trust them with any of my animals as well

Positive experience: Overall good service on appointment details and neuter and pick up. Unfortunately the woman who checked us in who was not very nice. She wouldn’t listen to me when I tried to tell her information about my cat. She kept cutting me off. She just was rude and in a hurry, not really interested or helpful. That was very annoying. At that point I was not happy about the rude attitude. They did a good job though on my kitty I brought in. He got all of his shots and he got fixed and everyone was very nice when we were checking out. The service is very efficient. I even got a call a few days later to check on my kitty. That was helpful as well. I will recommend Carol House but I think they could work on check in and be a little more patient with clients. It’s hard enough to get a lot of these cats in there as they aren’t always cooperative. It’s frustrating when you feel like you’re not able to communicate what you need to tell them.

Fantastic experience: I have a community cat colony that comes to my yard for food and safe space to lounge. I've brought a few ferals to the Quick Fix clinic for spade/neuter and vaccines. The staff is courteous, and I've never had any issues or complications. Low costs which are posted at the counter and may change depending on amount of donations or if there is a special sponsor.

Fantastic experience: Very caring and a good cause. My husband is a disabled veteran and they helped us out with pricing for spay/neutering for 2 stray cats. We really appreciate their help and what they do for dogs and cats.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. They seemed scared of our dogs. They treated us like our dogs were a problem when it was other dogs in the waiting room that were being antagonistic. I would think an animal clinic would have compassion when working with animals but hey if you want terrible service and people who panic when a dog gets excited, then by all means go with this group.

Fantastic experience: I called around several vets to get a quote for our new stray kitty’s neuter. Carol House popped into my mind and I’m so glad! Their cost was well over $600 below what I was quoted. Now, you do sort of get what you pay for. So, expect a long line getting in and anticipate minimal parking. I felt that the organization of intake and pickup was pretty frustrating. It seems like there isn’t a great method to the madness. But I will continue to take my pets here in the future! The recovery went well for our little guy.

Negative experience: We just took our sweet girl to get fixed & they didn’t even tell us she was pregnant, they just killed her babies. We live on a farm. We could have & would have gotten the babies fixed as well. They didn’t give us an option.

Fantastic experience: Carolhouse is a low income spay/neuter clinic for cats and dogs. They also have a wellness clinic where you can get shots and wellness checkups for your animal. They are very caring and good with your animal. If you are in need of spay/neuter for your animal, I highly, highly recommend giving them a call.
