Experiencia negativa: Don’t go here!!!!!!! i brought my dog in because i thought he got bit by another dog at daycare, my daycare reviewed footage and there was no bite that took place. They put my dog on 45 day rabies quarantine because they couldn’t determine if it was from a dog or small animal (chances of a small animal coming into a dog daycare fence is slim to NONE) … Turns out my dog was scratched by his crate while being in there the night i found the wound. i showed the imagines of this to them and they “ didn’t feel comfortable “ taking him off 45 day quarantine. The animal control in my town was more than happy to release my dog from this quarantine after pictures were provided, but this vet refused. While i was in the room with my dog the vet didn’t even confirm it was from another dog, she just went off what i thought was true, So now my dog has to suffer for a self inflicted wound. Also, good luck trying to call this place because they always put u on hold. i stayed on hold for 20 mins before i hung up, called right over again and the phone was answered. I seen them do this while i was waiting there, place u on hold and talk to one another. Skip this place and find somewhere that actually cares for your dogs mental wellbeing!

They truly went above and beyond for my little guy. He went in for UTI issues and needed a neuter and bladder stones removed. It went so so smoothly thanks to the empathetic and passionate staff at Second Chance. Thank you thank you thank you. He can't wait to see everyone again at his two week checkup. Experiencia negativa: Its sad, ive brought probably 9 to 10 animals here ti get spayed or neutered. We'll here is what happened. We went to schedule out puppy to get neutered. At the time he was just iver 9 months,he is a black lab who was 66lbgs at that time. Well they said to wait till December. We said okay and proceeded to bring him. We'll when he went he because 86 lbs which is 6 lbs over thier threshold for the clinic. I guess I understand that but what I couldnt understand was they daid it would be just a little bit more expensive and to come back for a consult that they said wouldnt cost anything. They turned that into telling us because he is 6lbs iver weight they needed 2 additional people to move him. You know 3lbs per person. And it went from 322$ to 825$ I said no thats crazy why would you say its a little more expensive then its more than double. They then charged me 65$ for the exam. Place is a joke. Unless your going to the clinic dont go. Most of them have an attitude to begin with.

They did a emergency surgery on my dog for kidney stone blockage, From the minute we walked in my dog was treated with urgency. I didn’t really know how any of this was gonna work out with all her tooth extractions with the cost and they made such a stressful event, such a calming calming experience and they worked with us throughout the whole journey and our dog did great and I would recommend this vet to anyone that wants a place that’s trustworthy and very caring and supportive everyone that we dealt with between the technicians the intake for consultations the dentistry in the front desk at both locations went above and beyond. They took great care of my senior dog, and they took great care of us and they finally gave us a piece of mind that we had been waiting for now our elderly dog is on the road to recovery and will live a better life due to them, thank you so much

I rescued my little guy, he was goi g to end up in an animal shelter & the person I saved him from didn't have any information on him. I thought of second chance immediately. Got him signed up for his basic shots & microchipped. Followed up in 2 weeks for a booster shot. He will be going back soon to be neutered as well as groomed. Just really cannot speak better about this place. My mother also just adopted the cutest black Maltese from here named Toto. She had a great experience with her adoption! Experiencia negativa: I had brought my dog to get spayed by them last Monday. I was told she has a heart murmur and 4 vets looked at her and it's confirmed. Told me to go see a cardiologist because they were that "worried". Brought her to a vet paid the fees and all, and guess what no heart murmur!!!! Which I'm super relieved but here's where my issue falls was it because of her breed? because she's a Dalmatian or maybe she growled a little when she went into the back. She is the sweetest dog and gets scared so that's how dogs show emotions if she was muzzled I would have been fine with it. At the end I'm just irritated that I drove an hour to be told false information and not to mention terrified me

Experiencia fantástica: Got my new rescued pit bull, Gimli, neutered through their pit fix program. Also got his nails trimmed and got him microchipped. It only cost a little over $100 for everything and that was including a $10 donation to help fund the program! This program is fantastic! The staff was very friendly and the neutering went smoothly and he healed up great! Everyone who has a pit bull should use this program, especially if you can't afford going to your normal vet for fixing your doggo! This makes it affordable for everyone. I'm so happy I could save money and do what's best for Gimli. There are way too many pits in need of homes. Please be a responsible pit mom or dad and spay/neuter and donate if you can to help fund this wonderful program! Thank you to everyone at Second Chance! Experiencia negativa: I had 4 dogs go there until today. I take then to Tufts at worcester tech where they are great people and great prices. I have spent so much on 2of the dogs there for skin and ear issues they couldn't fix. Today asking for records to be sent to Tufts we got nothing but a hard time and hassle. How can you work with animals and not care about their well being and this place was good years ago but now just greedy.

Experiencia negativa: Brought my German shepherd here last Monday to get spayed. When we got her home we noticed a puddle of blood underneath her where she was laying so we brought her back. They said not to be concerned sometimes the glue won’t close the incision so they used staples and wrapped her. So the next day my oldest son (20) was home with her and noticed she wasn’t doing so great. My wife got home from work and noticed more blood so back to 2nd chance we go. So now they open her up again and tell us after 4 hours there’s nothing more that they can do for her. She won’t stop bleeding so we can either take her home after they close her up and basically let her bleed to death, call tufts and spend 15k on an operation that probably won’t work and even if it does she’ll never be a normal dog again or put her to sleep. So at 1130 pm last Tuesday we had to make the hardest decision as a family and put our Bailey girl to sleep. Please don’t bring your pets here.

She was fed well, vaccinated, and overall, it looked healthy, too. The staff were very informative, and they looked overwhelmed, but their heart is in the right place. They give all the information to new owners and VETs for where to take the new pet. Please don't breed. Adopt from shelters. Our puppy is settled in now.

Of course we decided to continue our veterinary care through them for north cats. The staff are all fantastic, very kind and caring. You can tell they care and love your animal as much as you do. Experiencia negativa: After an initial visit where my cat's ear was cleaned and we were assigned a 3 week return visit the symptoms returned. However, I was not able to get another visit sooner. So I went to Southbridge (Thankfully). They examined my cat and determined there was a growth in his ear and made an appointment to remove it. Guess what? It was cancer.. North Brookfield was too busy.... Thanks to Southbridge.

Experiencia fantástica: Signed up online for spay/neuter clinic. The website stated that it could take months to receive a call. That it did! I waited around two months. I was getting nervous because I have a male and female. I called around other vets which prices were in the $500 area. With two cats that would hurt the wallet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Explained everything perfect. Also had the opportunity to receive other services while there. Got them both chipped and tests done, also for a much better price than the vet. The services and cost make it very affordable to take the best possible care of your pet and know they are being well cared for when there. I would definitely go again

She gets frequent ear infections, her ears are super sensitive to water. They see her pretty often and have have been a life saver on helping us keep costs down which has been helpful when it feel like we are there every almost every month or so.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Celmer sets the bar for how a veterinarian should treat animals and their people. I always have such an exceptional experience when she cares for our pets. Too bad she primarily handles dogs while someone else primarily handles cats. Unfortunately, I am finding a new place to bring my geriatric cat because of Dr. Duggan. The techs and office staff are great to interact with. Until recently, my (now) 15 year old cat was always complimented for being so easy to handle. Last appointment she got rather ornery and attacked the tech (her first time doing this ever), but the tech was so easy going and understanding that kitty it getting old and doesn't like being poked and prodded at her age. I love the staff here.

Experiencia fantástica: What can I say about Second Chance. Let's start with thank you. I love them all so much. We got our majic (dog) about 6 years ago. He was a puppy that needed love and care. He was a hurricane dog that was sent to them. We immediately fell in love with him. He is a weeny begal mix and so cool. Well first thing he did was get separation anxiety and chewed the carpet next to the door and broke his bottom k9s. So we took him to get them removed. Over the next day the stitches tore and we rushed him back to get fixed. FOR FREE. Yes they covered it for us. Move ahead 6 month to majic breaking his top K9. We went back and had them extract it. While in the exam room the vet said do you want us to remove the last one cause it's gonna break eventually. We said we would love to but didn't have the money for it at that time. So they did it for us. That is the kind of caliber this vet is. We rescued an older dog a few years back from a tuff situation. He is milo. So about 5 years after having him he got a bad extreme case of glaucoma in his left eye. So they said it had to come out. We lost it. Crying and so sad my wife and I were uncomfortable and the vet gave us tissues and made it a bit easier on us. We scheduled the eye to come out. Brought him there for the surgery and forgot to bring the low end payment to cover his costs. So instead of sending us away they took milo back and said can you grab it and we will get started. I live 15 minutes away.. not a big drive at all. Came back paid and then went home to wait for the call. 3 hours before we were sposed to get the call the phone rings and milo is awake and ready to be picked up in 30. We get there and our fur baby is okay. His eye was removed and didn't look to bad. They went over every bit of aftercare we needed. It was a great experience considering the situation. I beg you to try to get into this vet because they are truly the best. They care for their clients and want to help animals. I will always be so grateful to them. Thank you second chance.
