Experiencia negativa: Very expensive and ran a bunch of tests my dog didnt need. Granted they didnt have any idea what was wrong with him. But tell me why I was charged for a full workup and tests they didnt need to run after they figured out what it was. Like yall just figured it out on the very last test? I know you didnt. Just because I was desperate to help my puppy yall took advantage

Everyone is so nice and we felt very well taken care of :) A special thank you to Raygen for taking care of our Skye's nails - Raygen was friendly and knowledgeable and it didn't take very long so we appreciated all of that!

Experiencia fantástica: Had to euthanize my best friend of 14 years due to cancer. These are some very compassionate and caring people. They explained everything and did not rush things. They gave us all the time we needed until we were ready to go through with it. Very good people!

Experiencia fantástica: I really liked our previous veterinarian, but due to health issues with another dog, I needed a more comprehensive veterinary practice—one that can provide more on-site care, including overnight hospitalization if needed. This visit was for my young, healthy dog, Ginger, who was very nervous when we arrived. Dr. Robinson immediately noticed and met her where she was—getting down to her level, offering gentle attention and calm reassurance, and giving her the time she needed. That kind of presence matters. Dr. Robinson took the time to walk me through everything and never made the visit feel rushed. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive from the moment we arrived until we left. Ginger was never taken “to the back,” and staying with her throughout the visit made a clear difference in how calm and comfortable she was. All of her care was done right there in the room. The care felt thoughtful, respectful, and intentionally low-stress. Dr. Robinson and his team truly paid attention to Ginger as an individual, and that level of care is not common. I’m very glad to continue our care here and will keep bringing my dogs to this practice with complete confidence.

Experiencia negativa: I had to go out of town for 3 days. I asked what size cages they had I chose bigger one so my pup would have more room. When I got back the employee told me my dog was terrified of the big dogs. They didn't tell me that the bigger dogs were in that area. I was furious. My dog has heart problems and it could have caused him to have a heart attack. The employee told me they would make note to put him in a smaller cage with the small dogs. I had to go out of town overnight and I like an idiot I put him there for overnight. When I got home none of his carrot cans were open. He takes ground up medicine with his carrots. This place is awful. Do not leave your pet here.

Experiencia negativa: Have you ever known someone that is problematic and a displeasure to be around? Yet, you keep them in your life because they have a skill or competence that you highly desire. This is my relationship with Rose Rock. I continue to trust my dogs to Laura Blazek, DVM. In my opinion she is the best and most experienced Veterinarian in Norman. She is amazing! And that’s the issue. The front counter poorly receives their Clients. I sat and waited 45 minutes for my appointment to begin. In that time I witnessed how little engagement they gave. When a Client walked in they were met with “bring him over so that I can weigh them”. I believe that Rose Rock is a premium veterinary service. There is nothing premium about the extremely poor service they offer their Clients. I was later told that their first Client was late by 30 minutes. This information was never communicated to me. Whoever is in charge of managing and hiring the Front Counter staff SUCKS!

Experiencia fantástica: Overall, I was able to be seen quickly and get straightforward information on my pet. I had a unique situation involving vaccinations, but the vet staff were able to explain it all easily and clearly. They were also all kind and patient with my pet, who was very nervous about the experience. I recommend them if you need to bring your animal in for a regular checkup or vaccinations.

Experiencia fantástica: Rose Rock is a wonderful place to take your pet! The staff are friendly, professional and really care for your pet. My dogs love to go there when we go on vacation, as they get to stay together, get playtime, any necessary medical care, and the staff will send pictures and let you know how they are doing and call if their are health concerns! I recommend Rose Rock to anyone who feels nervous about going out of town without your fur babies!

He gave Jake a very thorough new patient exam, explained everything he was doing and options for future care but did not try to over sell me on services. He and Ellyanna, the vet tech, were both very professional, patient with me and Jake, friendly, and answered any questions I had.

If you're like me and have specific standards and want a vet to spoil and adore your fur babies - this is the place to go. Their prices are a bit high but with their accommodations it's worth it

Experiencia negativa: I’ve taken my pets to Rose Rock for many years because of Dr. Jennifer Devine. She’s hands-down the best vet we’ve ever had, and we trusted her with everything. Unfortunately, when she left, we weren’t told until the day before our appointment with our senior dog. We were placed with a new vet, Dr. Bev, who had never seen him before. After recommending hospitalization, she reacted negatively when we requested a second opinion during an end-of-life situation. Dr. Bev called us and told us we could pick up our dog and go elsewhere at 6pm, the same night we hospitalized him since we didnt trust her opinion. It was a devastating and unprofessional experience during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever had with our pets. We canceled all future appointments and will not be returning. But great news! We found Dr. Devine at McGee Street Animal Hospital in Norman! The care has been excellent, pricing is better, and we got in quickly. I encourage anyone who went to Rose Rock for Dr. Devine to follow her to her new clinic, she made all the difference for us in our pets lives and their care.

Experiencia fantástica: The vet and the vet tech (I presume that's who he was) were extremely kind and informative and supported both me and my new kitty throughout the visit. The lobby is beautiful and professional, and the staff at the front desk were so sweet, too, and very interested in little Microwave. Everything was priced reasonably, and they gave me thorough information regarding billing and helped me schedule Mikey's next appointment during the check-out process. Everything was so smooth, and they were so kind. Mikey didn't even feel the shot she got!

Experiencia positiva: Overall my experience with this place was good, i think maybe some communication issues that could’ve been a one off situation but still frustrating. I brought my puppy in because unfortunately he ate rat poison our landlord left under a cabinet. When we got there you could imagine I was pretty panicked. Luckily I got him there soon enough that we think everything is going to be okay. Everyone that we talked to in person for the most part was extremely positive. Crystal I believe was her name was extremely kind and I appreciate her approach to these situations. She’s a lovely person and very communicative. Dr.Robinson was also very nice and informative when I did receive phone calls. I did have to text a number to get them to respond to me that first night, as I didn’t receive a phone call but as long as i got the update I didn’t really care. Then the next day, Crystal again messaged me regarding my puppy which I GREATLY appreciated!! When Monday rolled around I called and asked if I could come get my dog and they said yes, the manager just had to check the chart! I was like okay so i can come now (specially asked because i didn’t want to rush the process) and she said yes. So I made my way there and had to wait like 30 minutes before being brought back. I know they’re busy but it’s just a discharge and signing two papers. I only got back there after asking again about my dogs discharge. i didn’t want to be rude as I know it’s a monday and they could’ve been busy so i waited at least 25 mins before I asked again. Finally I was brought back and we were doing paperwork and I noticed my dog was a lot more sluggish than I anticipated. Considering I was told to look out for signs I was immediately concerned. I asked the tech specially, point blank, “hey he seems really tired, is he on any medication?” and he responded with “no, there’s just new dogs and scents so he’s probably just tired” didn’t think too much of it. thought maybe he was just ready for a nap. Then we got home and he was acting very sluggish. sleeping with his tongue out and super often. As well as moving pretty sluggishly as well like jumping onto the couch. So I called rose rock again to verify because at this point I think these are serious signs he needs to be brought back in because he shouldn’t be that tired?? I called and then ended up saying they gave him two different medications to help the transition. :| i told the lady on the phone that i had asked if he was on anything and they said no so it’s upsetting to hear that. and she said he probably just misunderstood. which i don’t really think is the case considering he gave an answer that was perfectly reasonable? that’s so awesome and I would’ve been fine with that but I asked point blank if he was on anything. Is that not in the chart when you’re discharging an animal that I waited 35 minutes on? It’s just frustrating because we treat our dogs like our babies and if he’s on medication then I would like to know. Overall it was great. The people were pretty nice. Just maybe needs better communication. I do wanna say though, thank yall for taking care of my puppy!

Vet care can be expensive but that's what you sign up for when you adopt a furry family member. If you don't treat them like family, you don't deserve them.

Experiencia fantástica: This review is for Dr. Devine. She significantly helped my dog by performing a dental cleaning and addressing a piece of ovarian tissue leftover from a previously poorly done surgery. I had gone to another vet beforehand, but they did not mention what Dr. Devine discovered. My dog was bleeding, and it turned out it was not due to a UTI, as that vet mentioned. The previous vet failed to inform me that there was remaining ovarian tissue. Dr. Devine knew this and could remove the tissue without any issues. She took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly and did not rush through our conversation. While the procedure was expensive, I would much rather pay for the expertise of someone like Dr. Devine than continue with a vet who did not understand the situation.

Experiencia negativa: We’ve been using Rose Rock for years for both veterinary and pet hotel services, and we’ve always been happy with the care our dog received. But after our most recent experience, we’re not sure we’ll be returning. We recently went on a month-long trip and felt comfortable leaving our dog with Rose Rock. However, things didn’t go as planned. At drop-off, we were told that the contract we signed, which outlined the agreed price and terms, was suddenly invalid. They claimed the price was actually supposed to be almost $500 higher than agreed upon. Their excuse was that the employee who sent us the contract wasn’t properly trained to provide a quote. However with our flight later that day, we had no choice but to agree to the new price. During our dog’s stay, we got 3-4 updates, but they were very brief—just a photo and a generic sentence like “she’s doing well.” When we picked her up, her report also noted that she had had a great time, had adjusted well, and had behaved well. But once we got home, we noticed a few things that weren’t mentioned in the updates. Our dog had what looked like a bite mark on her leg and was limping, unable to jump on the couch or bed. It got better over the next few days, but none of this was reported during her stay. She also had a hoarse bark, which made us think she may have been barking for long periods, but that wasn’t mentioned either. We were told she was having a “great time” during her stay. After this experience, we’re thinking twice about using Rose Rock again and would recommend others to be cautious.

Experiencia fantástica: I started going to Rose Rock with my senior dog in 2023. He passed away in 2024 but I was so impressed that both of my cats go here as well now. They have been truly exceptional. Everything from check in to price transparency to how the vets and vet techs treat my animals is amazing.

Experiencia negativa: I came in for a wellness check for a newly adopted puppy. The whole experience reminds me of a car dealership. From monthly worm medicine that costs $40 every 30 days to pet insurance with a 30-day trial. We came in for a health check and it’s nowhere to be found. The entire health check cost over $50 dollars and lasted a couple minutes tops. The doctor came in, listened to his heart and lung, complemented on the cuteness of the puppy and that’s it!! It’s astonishing how they could do that and still charge the full amount. I don’t mind paying for quality service but this is definitely not it. We did NOT go in for such an amateur health check and be sold on a bunch of stuff. Very disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience at Rose Rock! Emma was super helfpul and helped me identify the best value when pickikg up meds for my pup today. They take the best care of my pets and my phone always does great when we board with them. Super smooth drop off/pickup process! Even better, they have a loyalty program where you get paws every $100 you spend.

Experiencia negativa: After checking in at the front desk, we waited TWO hours (instead of 25 minutes) due to Rose Rock staff miscommunication for anal gland expressing on the day before thanksgiving (or the day of? I can't remember). The front desk clerk was apologetic and stated that she would put a free bath on our dog's account. Today, I tried to use said free bath. The front desk clerk was confused, said it wasn't listed on the account. Then argued that my dog had not been seen since last year (which has literally nothing to do with anything). The clerk then got a manager who confirmed that the free bath was not listed on the account and would therefore not be honored. This was maddening. We've been a paying customer for nearly a decade and have not received anything free. Why would I suddenly make up a story to try to get my tiny dog a free bath?

Experiencia fantástica: Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital is amazing! I was very impressed with everyone who helped us. Not only did they spend a lot of time with my senior dog, but they were open and honest about everything. They prescribed generic meds so I save a lot on that. They also gave me a lot of diagnosis options but were honest about my dog's age and that they were probably unnecessary. And I received a follow up from the doctor regarding my pet's response to the treatment! If you need a vet, please consider Rose Rock! You will not be sorry that you did!

Experiencia fantástica: My cats love Dr Martin! She has a great table side manner and is very gentle and kind. I’ve never had a vet tech that wasn’t remarkably sweet and gentle with my cats. I will never take my babies to another vet! EDIT: Dr Martin is no longer among the RRVH staff, but Drs McKay and Devine are equally amazing to work with. I’ve been bringing all three of my cats and even my MIL’s new puppy. When my oldest cat was diagnosed with hypercalcemia and then shortly after had a stress induced UTI, RRVH was amazing in their treatment and care of my little princess. Love this staff so much!

Experiencia negativa: This place is nice inside but they don't have enough doctors or too many patients. They don't have a regular appointment to see a doctor without paying an emergency fee or dropping your dog off for almost 2 weeks. They hired 2 new doctors but they can't be trained fast enough.

Experiencia negativa: I didnt like the way they dragged my mini schnauzer into the back by the neck. I had a harness on him because I dont like him being pulled by the neck. The assistant took the harness off and put the type of leash that tightens around the neck when pulled.

The only time we can't leave a harness on is when your pet is boarding with us, as we take all items/apparel off as a safety precaution, but we can use the slip leads in a modified way. Experiencia negativa: This is the worst vet I’ve ever been to. They buckle and dime you over everything doing unnecessary testing and X-rays even when you come in with confirmation of what’s going on. The knowledge and care is also very poor. Just like traditional western medicine doctors they’re out only for money not helping anyone or any furry companion at the cost of anything even the life and health of your pet. I’d look up natural integrative or holistic healthcare for your pets before coming here. That called me on the phone was extremely rude and even hung up on me

Experiencia fantástica: I cant express enough how much Kelsey helped me through a very painful process with my Wormy Girl's mammory glands. I genuinely trusted everything Kelsey told me. She was everything you would want at the vet. She gave off perfect "vet energy" full of so much knowledge. Wow, was I impressed. Thank you Kelsey! Sweetie! Two weeks later and im adding on to my review. Sadly, my fur-daughter, Wormy Girl, has less then a year to live without dramatic chemo and two cancer surgeries i dont want to put her poor sweet body through it because she will likely die soon after and i love her to much to see her hurt. Today, Dr. Beverly Fritzler called me with oncologist information I was waiting on. She was so incredibly compassionate and genuinely kind. This is THE hardest thing ive ever experienced in life and I appreciate her giving me all of my options in a comforting way. Dr. Fritzler, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Follow up, Last night I had my favorite doctor, Dr. Blazek my favorite vet tech, Kelsey and a sweetie of an intern named Victoria. They helped ease giving me the devastating news Worm now has 1-2 months to live. I'm glad it was the 3 of them there with me when I got the hardest news of my life. I think Victoria is going to make a wonderful vet tech because of her empathy and compassion. She was absolutely lovely. I also want to advocate for Kelsey. The #1 reason she deserves a raise is because she BY FAR goes more above and beyond for me as a client then any of the other million visits I've had there. (Ive seen tons of vet techs there) She is pure quality. She legit cares. I'm personally asking you to please reward her excellent service with either a bonus or a raise. Lastly, Dr. Blazek you are my go to vet! Your knowledge is unparalleled and you have been treating Wormy for several years and as far as doctors go.... You know you can ALWAYS trust Dr. Blazek. If they ask you if you have a preference for a vet, ask for Dr. Blazek because she has the experience, knowledge and gentleness that is required in this business. They say when it rains it pours. Well, now I've got another sick furbaby. My big fat Garfield of a cat, Regie, who is meaner than the meanest, did his usual misbehaving at the Vet. Luckily, I was blessed to get the male Dr. Fritzler and Matthew. I swear, he was absolutely wonderful to work with! A natural talent! He made me feel so comfortable! Matthew was excellent too. He helped me laugh a lot during a very anxious time. If Kelsey wasn't my favorite he'd definitely be next in line! Luckily, when I picked Regie up at the end of the day Kelsey was there. She is so intelligent and well spoken I told her I didn't need to see a doctor at pick up because she herself is so knowledgeable that I had no need to talk with the doctor. But listen to this- Even though Dr. Fritzler had gone home for the day, later that same evening he called me from his house to check in on Regie. HOW CAN I SHOW MY APPRECIATION TO A DOCTOR THAT CARES ENOUGH TO CHECK IN ON ME FROM HOME?? I was blown away by this level of care. I have never received this level of care from any vet like this before. I cried tears of happiness knowing I'm not alone in this. Thank you Dr. Fritzler. Also, big thank you to all the vet techs in training that assisted me with this. Y'all are doing a fabulous job! And I individually appreciate every single one of you. May 8, 2024 Wormy's life came to an end on May 8th. Thankfully, Kelsey, my vet tech, made sure to drop everything she was doing to be there for me. The process of death is so extremely difficult. Thank you Roserock for genuinely promising to stick by my side throughout the whole ordeal and keeping your promise. You were there for me the entire time and as a patient and grieving mother I couldn't ask for more. I genuinely am so grateful I chose you, Roserock, to be my vet. An anonymous donor paid for Wormy's passing, cremation amd memorial. I have no idea who you are, but thank you so very much. Your kindness is overwhelming.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived all around Oklahoma, but no matter where I am, I’ll always make a special trip to Rose Rock for my pets’ veterinary needs. Experiencia fantástica: We have been working with the Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital Rehab Team for several years now in both the surgical recovery and maintenance of our senior German Shepherds. This team consists of two very dedicated professionals, Dr Jennifer Devine and Rehab Therapist Ana Sloan. Dr Devine is one of the most outstanding veterinarians we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, and also willing to learn alternative methods. She is kind, caring, and compassionate towards all her clients and their people. She is never complacent, always looking for answers and if she doesn't have them, she will search diligently until she does. She is the most forward leaning animal advocate we have ever met in the veterinary field. Ana Sloan is an outstanding Rehab Therapist who connects deeply with her patients, even the most recalcitrant ones like ours. She is very sweet, always kind, compassionate, and caring with her patients. She's extremely knowledgeable, well spoken, and frequently goes above and beyond what is required of her. Experiencia fantástica: This is the best vet in the area. I've gone to others that would run tests all day and ignore any symptoms I gave, but Rose Rock listened, assessed, and got my cat taken care of the day I went in. They worked with me to find the best prescription option for my budget too. They also had a cat waiting room separate from dogs which was huge for our skittish cats/fear of dogs/irresponsible owners who haven't trained their dog and have no leash control. Rose Rock made it easy for any party. If I wasn't moving this would have for sure been my vet for the rest of my life

Experiencia fantástica: My fur baby fell very ill unexpectedly. I took her to my regular vet who told me she needed Emergency care. My daughter Emma always recommended Rose Rock for vet care so I didn’t hesitate to bring her here for the emergency visit. The moment I walked in, Beth greeted me and took Julie with a sense of urgency. I immediately felt like she was in good hands and that she would be made as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, Julie was extremely sick and the outcome grim, so I made the gut wrenching decision to let her go. Throughout the whole ordeal, Dr. Thurman was absolutely wonderful. She thoroughly explained her conditions, my options, and answered all my questions. She was very supportive, caring and patient. I never felt rushed, and most importantly, I felt like she genuinely cared. Justin was just as wonderful and handled her with so much care after her passing. I just can’t say enough good things. With how attentive and thorough the vet was, I genuinely feel like Julie’s condition would have been caught sooner, at annual check ups, if I had already been bringing her here. Going forward, I found a new vet for my other pets. Thank you for everything

Experiencia fantástica: I love this vet. Bryce Fritzler is my most favorite. He's very knowledgeable and always takes time to listen to my issues/concerns offering great advice. They have always been wonderful to work with. I do think the fees are a bit high, but to be fair, I also haven't been to another vet to compare prices with. I would recommend Rose Rock and will continue going there as of now. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: After multiple visits with other vets trying to figure out what was wrong with our dog, we brought her to Rose Rock. From the start of the examination, we immediately felt at ease with Dr. Devine. Rather than giving our dog a quick look over and rushing through a diagnosis, she took her time doing an extremely thorough examination. I actually cried at our first appointment because I felt like someone finally cared about the pain my poor pup was in. Dr. Devine quickly diagnosed a muscle strain injury that had been missed by other vets, including a well known orthopedic specialist in Dallas. Although the muscle injury wasn’t the primary issue, it was adding to my dog’s pain load. We started physical therapy with Ana, did a joint injection, and got our dog on a pain med regiment. Within a few weeks, she was back to her cheerful self. We still have work to do to address her chronic injury, but our experience here was absolutely top notch. We are so grateful that we found Dr. Devine and her team for our dog’s physical therapy and injury management moving forward.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog molly became lethargic and started having multiple seizures. When I called them they told us it was considered an emergency visit and dropped everything to care for her. When we walked in molly was about to have a seizure and an employee almost immediately saw her behavior and came and grabbed her and took her back. She was inpatient for 3 nights. They diagnosed her quickly and gave us a treatment plan. They gave us updates every day if not twice a day and the night nurse texted us a picture and gave us updates. She had a pyometra infection and was very ill. They saved our girl and took such amazing care of her. I’m an RN and I don’t know much about animals but I do know they did such a great job educating on her condition and medications she needs. They have taken great care of all 3 of my dogs at vet appts and boarding. We love rose rock!! Will never use another vet.

Experiencia negativa: The majority of the staff are very friendly and kind and we love Dr. Devine, but I am absolutely reeling after my last visit. Took my senior cat in for a wellness checkup and 2 vaccines ($140). Was told they wouldn’t be able to get the labs done because he didn’t have any urine in his bladder and was already really stressed out. Told me to come back in two days and keep him from peeing all day so he would have a full bladder for his labs. I did what they said, which was not easy, and brought him back on Wednesday. I don’t know if they weren’t prepared or it just happened too fast but he peed on the towel and once again they weren’t able to get a urine sample. Said I would have to bring him back again another day and do this all over again. They were able to get a blood and fecal sample, so they went ahead and charged me for the visit - $240!!!! Which I was not given any notice of and was way higher than the previous labs they did the year before. “Oh, we charge more if they’re sick,” she said. Would have been super helpful to know before they drew the labs. Of course I have to pay. I’m not going to subject my cat to more blood draws and pain because they weren’t upfront about the costs with me when they should have been. And to make matters even worse, when I got out to the car with my fur baby, his white fur around his throat was covered in blood. I was shocked and appalled and wondered what they had done to him. Is that where they drew the blood? Why was there so much on him? Why hadn’t they forewarned me about it before I left? I’m so upset and frustrated. Finding a good vet is so hard.

Experiencia negativa: Do yourself a favor and go to another vet or pet resort. My complaint isn't with the vets themselves, Dr. Devine was always a pleasure to work with, but the practice itself. Rose Rock price gouges at every turn. I can easily save a couple of hundred dollars just by going up the road to Scroggins Animal Hospital in Moore just for a routine visit. The staff working the front desk at Rose Rock will make you question why you trust your pets in their care with how rude and awful they treat you. Definitely don't use their boarding services. I tried taking my cats in today and they tried claiming it was "peak season" even though spring break is already over and wanted to charge me 3x's the price I was expecting. They conveniently waited until I brought my cats in to tell me that this was going to happen. I assume they thought I'd be in enough of a bind that I wouldn't walk out. I had slowly been transferring my animals to another vet but this incident has pushed me to switching all of them immediately to Scroggins. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was due to Dr. Devine being so nice but even her nice personality can't make up for the price gouging and rudeness of the rest of the facility. TLDR; prices are inflated and the care you can get at other places is not only cheaper but better. Update: Dr. Beverly has called to let me know that the upcharge in boarding was not policy and has apologized that their staff member was so rude. I do accept their apology but I will still not utilize their practice again. It concerns me that their staff members are allowed to go against policy and can change the price of stuff without a doctor override. I also wanted to add that the price I was given to board 1 of my cats for a single night plus a visit with a vet and a couple of vaccines was going to cost me $512. When I look at the cost of what they were going to charge me to board, ($28.50/night x 3 = $85.50), that means they were going to charge me $426.50 for the vet visit and the 2 vaccines. I took my cats to Scroggins today for a vet visit and to get their 2 vaccines each. The total at Scroggins was $202. Taking that into consideration for a single cat means a vet visit and 2 vaccines cost me $101. I saved myself $325.50 for each cat by going elsewhere. Not to mention from the time I got to Scroggins, the time it took for a vet to get to our room, and from the moment I left, I was only there for a little over an hour. Which is considerably quicker than it would have taken at Rose Rock.

Experiencia negativa: First they gave me the wrong dog when I came to pick mine up after her grooming. I was all the way out the door before I realized it wasn't my dog and had to go back in and tell them hey this isn't my dog. Then when I got her home I noticed that her right eye was blood red. All of the white in that right eye was blood red. Not ok! When I notified them asked what happened they told me nothing. Said they have no idea. If uve ever seen someone's eye after they get punched..you know exactly what it looks like. The white of the eye is blood red. We won't be back! No explanation is not acceptable.

Experiencia negativa: My first visit was not enjoyable at all. I asked for both of my dogs to receive only what they needed. I noticed three additional medication my dogs did not really need. This place really made me feel like they are more interested in how much they can get out of me, vs really caring for what my dogs needed. I will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, clean vet (no smell of animals), they had ton of products for pets as well. We actually stopped in because we found a lost dog and was checking for a microchip. (Yes we found his home) I would highly consider taking my animals here.

Experiencia fantástica: My ongoing experiences at Rose Rock have all been awesome. Love the staff there. Dr. Rebecca Martin has been my vet but they all are great. I feel very comfortable with them handling my dogs health care. Everyone is so kind and attentive and genuine. They handled end of life services for me when I lost my Woodrow as well as vaccinations, urgent care, and even boarding for my other dogs. I’ve never felt a need to shop around vet services as I believe if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I trust them all. Always greeted by name or as whatever my dogs names dad. Lobby and exam rooms are modern and clean and I don’t think you can find better care anywhere

Experiencia fantástica: EDITED REVIEW: Rose Rock took excellent care of my dog while he was boarded for three days. He usually seems stressed out after boarding, but not after this experience! I outlined a frustrating experience at pick up with a member of the front desk staff and unexpected charges in my initial review. However, I was contacted by Connie, who apologized for the poor communication and refunded the extra charges to which I had not consented. I was not asked to change my negative review, but I was happy to do so after the problem was acknowledged and addressed.

Experiencia negativa: Not happy went in the day before we boarded one of our pups. They did the exam and recommended two shots we’d already had. I went home got the records, went back to the vet, watched the woman scan them into someone’s file.. we pickup today and they’ve charged an extra 78$ to our stay gave him two extra vaccines, and didn’t give me a record of what was done or a new rabies tag for the additional rabies vaccine he got… 1. We did not authorize these vaccines 2. What happened to the records that were scanned in showing we aren’t due for more vaccines until May 2023??? I keep meticulous vaccine/medical records for my pets. Needless to say I took the extra hour to bring the records to the office and no records were provided after the unnecessary vaccines were administered until I requested and still no rabies tag….. we will see what the office says on Monday. But for now… this is a no go for me….

Experiencia fantástica: No one can beat the level of technology and knowledge that the employees at Rose Rock offer. That said, they are also in the business of making money. If you have enough money to take care of your dog or cat or bird, whatever you have, as well as you take care of yourself, this is the place to go. I'm not wealthy, but Dr Laura Blazek is one of the finest veterinarians I've ever known. I know she will try to help my companions with as little unnecessary frou frou as possible. I'm sure the other doctors there are equally qualified, but if Dr Blazek were not there, we would not visit Rose Rock. They have helped us ease the passing of several quite beloved companion animals, and Dr Blazek's compassion and true pastoral care helped me through each passing. I found excellent harnesses and leashes there that are more beneficial for your companions and make it easier to keep track of them. They carry specialty foods for animals with specific issues, and I imagine they can fix just about anything. Don't forget to bring your pocketbook with you. I believe when they are able they participate in getting pets adopted. They are an excellent resource.

Dr. Devine and whole team went above and beyond to help with insurance claims and ensuring that Bailey got everything she needed and more. Experiencia negativa: I would give this no stars if I could. Nobody showed any compassion for my fur friend except for ONE lady at the front desk. They sent us home with no answers and nobody would tell us about her, we had to ask. All they cared about was making their money. I will never recommend this place again. And performing tests that we did not consent too is unprofessional at its best. Wish I can take my $300 back and try to find a vet that actually cares about saving my fur friend instead of telling me we need to euthanize.

Experiencia fantástica: We adore this place and the entire staff!! Before we started going to Rose Rock, we had a lot of trouble finding a vet who could help us find a solution for our dog, Baby. He was a stray for the first couple years of his life and has some sort of trauma associated with his feet, specifically his nails. The previous clinics we visited would write him off as an aggressive doggo- which is definitely not the case. Dr. Jennifer Devine at Rose Rock took the time to hear about Baby's situation and his history. We felt so heard, and I'm sure if Baby could use human words he would say the same!

Experiencia fantástica: We were looking for a new vet last year and Rose Rock was mentioned to us after we had tried 3 others and weren't all that happy with them. We have 5 dogs so we see the vet more than most. From the very beginning they have all been professional and so responsive to our dogs needs. The staff and doctors are all so nice, friendly and responsive. They spend time with us to get good histories etc and then time is spent talking about what is going on with our dogs and what the tx plan will be. We are so pleased that we are staying with them eventho we drive from Minco to Norman. The trip is well worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: Just moved to OK. My dog had an emergency and took him here, not knowing anything about them. WELL. I am completely impressed. They were able to see him in less than 3 hours, short wait time. Kind, compassionate, listened to my concerns, and told me how cute my sweet boy is. (He is!) The total bill was much less than I expected. The vet techs were wonderful, the Vet was wonderful. I have other pets and Rose Rock will be the only veterinarian clinic they will go to.

Experiencia fantástica: I am someone who is very selective to who I take my cats to get help from and Rose Rock was amazing. My one cat, who I call Madi is very squeamish and I was afraid of how she would react with a new vet. To sum up a long story I didn’t know my cat was able to be controlled and feel safe like they were able to do for her. I will definitely be coming back to Rose Rock and I highly recommend them to anyone else.

Experiencia fantástica: There was a time where no matter who I called, I couldn't find any vet around during a rather desperate time for my cat. Rose rock knew I needed someone quick and they did not disappoint. We also come to this vet for our frogs as my roommate has over six or so. No matter what animal you have, every animal is treated like a family member and not just a pet. I can guarantee you that there is no better place in Norman then here.

Experiencia positiva: We had to suddenly put our family cat down due to terminal illness. I was able to call and get a same day appointment. The staf was very considerate and accommodating as well as respectful. My two daughters were present and they explained the entire process and made sure we had no unanswered wuestions. We were not rushed either. We did have a small wait but were told over the phone we may have a wait if any emergencies arrived. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Even though our visit was not a happy reason we felt they gave our cat's final moments all the respect she deserved. We appreciate the staff helping us in this difficult time.

Experiencia fantástica: We moved to Norman a few months ago for school and our doggo ran into some trouble with tearing her nail. A friend of mine recommended Rose Rock, so we took her there. Staff was excellent! Everyone was very nice, helpful, understanding, and answered all of my questions. Very thankful to know my pets are in good hands here in Norman, especially being a student!

Experiencia fantástica: We were from out of town and they fit her in to help with allergies. Cross coordinated with our normal vet to make sure they had all the latest records and really helped her out. Great staff. All very capable and social. Doc did a great job taking care.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a long time customer at Rose Rock, at least 17 years but today they gave me the push I needed to sever the relationship. I truly do not believe they are in business because they love and care for animals but they love and care about money instead. You can’t just go in and pay what you expect. They will ALWAYS find a way to up sell you something or pressure you into something if you let them. I called about a week ago to book a kennel stay for my two dogs for my upcoming vacation. I spoke to someone named Jessica who quoted me $160 for 4 days. I was pleased with that and confirmed the reservation. I requested that both dogs be in the kennel together because they are companions. People worry about their pets when they leave. Sometimes my dogs refuse to eat because they’re depressed when we’re gone. So it’s important to me that my dogs are as happy as possible when they are separated from us. And it’s important to me that they stay together to promote happiness while we are separated from them. I come back to find that not only did they NOT keep my dogs together but the fee was twice the price Jessica quoted me on the phone. Do you think that they did anything to compensate for that mistake or even apologize? No! They did absolutely nothing but demand full payment. Oh and not only that but when my husband dropped them off for their stay, they tried to add vaccination costs onto the bill that they were not even due for yet. And what’s worse they know that because they are the ones who performed the vaccinations. So either they think everyone who is going on vacation is full of money bags and can afford a $800 vet bill the same week as an out of town trip, they don’t pay attention to the details of their own patients records, or they’re trying to hustle people out of extra money and hoping you won’t notice their oversight. I’m betting it’s the latter of the three options so I’m no longer using them, and if you love your pet, you shouldn’t either. Anita was the only good thing about that place and that’s just not enough anymore. Oh and to add insult to injury my dog is coughing now. Within 5 minutes of driving away I noticed it and called them back immediately. I questioned if they heard her coughing. They said they didn’t notice anything. So my dog has been under their care for several days and they didn’t notice these horrible sounds but I noticed it immediately. If they spent any time with her and had paid attention to details, they would have noticed too. It’s their job to notice.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been bringing my pets here for years and the staff is always kind and professional. I love the reminders and offers they provide educationally without being pushy and the fact that they always remember my dog makes me feel she is truly cared for. Other than that it is a beautiful facility that is well maintained with awesome staff. This will continue to be the only place for Vet, boarding , and grooming that we will go to.

Experiencia negativa: My 9 month old puppy ate a hat. The doctor never touched my dog. She had a tech communicate the ‘treatment plan’. The doctor was more concerned with the money I had available to pay. Ended up having to get a credit card to pay the 290$ for an X-ray and some IVFluids. I feel sorry for the techs working there. The doctor didn’t seem to do anything except show me the X-ray results. Clean facility though.

Experiencia negativa: I've taken my dogs to this vet for a many years. I left once because they pushed "extra" services on me and made me feel guilty when I declined - as if I somehow didn't care about my animal. However, the care has always been good albeit expensive. Today was the final straw for me and I will not return. I called because my dog , who they just examined 60 days ago, is flopping his ears. He had a previous ear infection while I was out of state but had never been treated there for the ear infection. They have no appointments until Wednesday (today is Saturday). They offered no alternatives to assist - none. Other than to let the infection get worse and come in and spend my $$ with them on Wednesday. They didn't even recommend the emergency vet. I am beyond not satisfied. I think this response - or lack of one - indicates whether they prioritize money or your pet first.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the care my pet received her! The staff was quick, friendly and very good with my 9 year old chihuahua! He was seen in urgent care with a ruptured left anal gland. The staff took amazing care of him and I’m very grateful! I just moved here from California so I’ll definitely be coming to this office all the time!

Experiencia fantástica: Our normal vet was booked up so we called Rose Rock for boarding. Our pets stayed 3.5 days. When we picked them up they were very happy, healthy & very well cared for. Our dogs are our family & knowing we have somewhere we can take them to for boarding who is going to interact with our pets, play with them & treat them with care & love makes it worry free when we have to leave them. You guys & Gals Rock!!

Experiencia positiva: ****UPDATE****** As I said in my previous review I used to love their services and they have been (until) this point been able to work with me and give me the best care and explain everything to me. That said my experience most recently has destroyed this for me. To explain what happened, my cat needed to get a vaccine. I’ve had vaccines from there before with no issues however this time was different. He went in for the 1st set of shots. I spent $90 for this. Which I have no issue with since I want the best for my animals. Then I set up the next appointment for the booster shot. Before the next appointment I had a class move to the appointment time and since I’m both a full time student and I work full time I asked for availability for the next week. She gave me those times and I picked one that worked for me. After the appointment they scheduled another one for the SAME SHOTS. So I called later to cancel the appointment because based on the information they gave me my cat had received the 1st and 2nd vaccines required so to me there was no need for another appointment. So I called and explained the situation to the nurse or whoever answered the phone. She put me on hold and transferred me to the doctor. She told me that because the booster wasn’t in between the 2-4 week window that he needed to redo the 1st vaccine and the appoint scheduled was for the booster. I immediately was confused now considering that the second appointment was $70 and they didn’t mention literally any of this. Not only do have a busy schedule where appointments like this aren’t convenient or easy to get to but now I’m about to spend another $70 on something that should have been explained when I rescheduled the appointment. The doctor even admitted to the issue of their staff not explaining that because I Would have worked it out to make it before the booster deadline if I would have been told. Also, something that doesn’t make sense to me. On my invoice It literally says “BOOSTER” so why tf was I charged for something you didn’t give me. I asked for help with the situation and all she said was that they wanted him to be healthy and safe. Which is just insulting. Like lady I do too or I wouldn’t now be spending $230 on a vaccine when I couldn’t have spent $70 less if they literally would have had a conversation with me. I’m incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed. Their organization has gone down hill and I will not be getting his second booster shot with them. I will be finding new care for all of my pets. I understand this is a business but I would rather go to a vet who has more organized and informative employees who don’t just say “oops, well you should have known” I have been with them for just about 2 years now and I’ve always loved their service! They are a warm and always are kind to answer questions and concerns. Since I have a bunny and they are considered exotic animals I had a hard time finding a good vet for him that said I finally found one! My cats and my bunny are both taken care of because of Rose Rock. Their customer service is amazing and if I ever need anything I can call up and get an answer. They are flexible with scheduling and if I need to I can reschedule. Oh also their curbside appointments work very well and they allow owner to come inside with their pet. Which is very important for me. Couldn’t think of a better family to be apart of!! Oh and I have pet insurance for all of my animals so their cost doesn’t really affect me but they give quality care so to me the cost is no issue. They are on the pricier side but for me an animal isn’t about the cost it’s about taking the best care as possible. Rose rock is the best care.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog Bleu has suffered from allergies for years and we have never been able to get them under control. The doc at Rose Rock spent a lot of time explaining what she thinks will work and started her on a plan to get her on the road to recovery. Very knowledgeable and offered options. Overall we are pleased with the facility and staff. Praying this works for our girl so she can have a better quality of life.

Experiencia fantástica: We have found our new vet! I can’t stress how good this team is. Our dog was injured and they worked us in as soon as they could. They are so compassionate and caring and treated my dog with the utmost care. Even through a traumatic experience he was so calm with them which is the perfect indicator for me. They we’re able to give me several options to get him well again and explained them all. This team is incredible and I won’t hesitate to take my pets there again.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Rose Rock by our usual vet because unfavorable weather had ours shut down. My favorite boy (Choocho) was very sick, very suddenly and needed to be seen. Upon arrival the staff was second to none in professionalism and caring. The facility was very clean and welcoming. The vet ran some tests and the worst news ever was the unfortunate outcome. He had to be put down. I have so much appreciation for the vet not trying to push medications or surgeries to possibly bring him some comfort when the truth was that his quality of life would never be good. She was forthcoming, honest and displayed the utmost respect and care while I cried my eyes out. I really appreciated that. The euthanization went quickly and they gave us time with him before and after. They sent a beautiful card in the mail which all of the staff signed, and again, I cried like a baby. My husband just went to pick up Choocho's ashes yesterday, and the box and plaque are beautiful. They even included a little paw of flower seeds to plant for him. Thank you so much Rose Rock! Your team and facility are A+ in my book. While my experience was a sad one, with the display of love and caring you gave my dying boy, I bet it's safe to say your care for well animals would be second to none as well.
