Experiencia fantástica: Today my husband and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved Cooper down. He was almost 13 and had joint problems which within the last week were getting worse. We switched to Packerland vet a couple years ago and they have always treated us with respect and my dog with compassion. After he could barely get out to go to the bathroom last night we decided it was time to let him go. We did not want to wait until he went down paralyzed and scared and in pain and have to rush him to the emergency vet in Appleton and turn his last moments into a nightmare. We called at 8 o'clock this morning and they could not have been more compassionate or accommodating for us. We took Cooper in and they put his IV in and brought him into a room by us where we had as much time as we needed to hug him and tell him how much we loved him. They did not rush us we let them know when we were ready. And as my husband put his arms around him And he was eating a treat out of my hand so she could put the sedative in his IV port his whole body just went limp. And then they gave him the last shot to stop his heart and gave us time to hold him and pet him and say one last goodbye. We left A part of our hearts behind with him But we also knew we gave him the best life we could have and they gave him the most compassionate fast painless humane death he could've had And that gave us some comfort. I want to thank The receptionist, The vet tech, The veterinarian And everyone who made an utterly crushing experience less painful For Cooper and also for us.

Experiencia fantástica: After months of unsuccessful treatment for a corneal ulcer at 2 different vets in Appleton I found Dr. Geaudry at Packerland. She immediately knew what to do and within a month my dog’s eye was healed. The staff at this clinic is wonderful and I feel that the love and care of animals is everyone’s top priority. I get the impression that most of the staff members are long term and enjoy working there. I can’t say enough about how happy I am to have Packerland Veterinary Clinic as my dog’s vet.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything about this clinic is wonderful, especially the staff. I started coming here when my first dog tore her CCL. They performed TPLO surgery for her and continued to provide support as she aged, as she developed significant arthritis. While at an appointment for her, we met the sweetest adoptable cat in their lobby and were lucky enough to make her part of our family. Her name is Agatha now and we still bring her here for all her appointments. Yhe staff continues to be amazing for everything she needs, including a couple dental procedures.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Gina is a wonderful, thorough, knowledgeable and caring vet. After careful evaluation of our much loved black lab, she had to share some heartbreaking news. As difficult as it was to hear, she shared his diagnosis with compassion and kindness, patiently answering all of our questions and discussing possible options and next steps. Dr Gina called as soon as she received additional test results, taking time away from her vacation. Our lives changed in a few moments, but we will always remember her kindness.

Experiencia negativa: Heartbroken and Deeply Disappointed I am incredibly saddened by my experience with Packerland Veterinary center. After trusting them with the care of my beloved Labrador, Prince Jackson, including an ACL surgery, I later learned that he was suffering from advanced bone cancer --something this clinic completely missed, not once, but twice, on x-rays and also in lab work. What's even more upsetting is the lack of accountability or communication. l've made multiple attempts to reach out with honest questions about how this could have been overlooked, and my calls have gone unanswered. I was even hung up on. I haven't received a single follow-up or explanation. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but from a place of deep heartbreak - and with the hope that no other pet parent has to experience this. Prince Jackson is not "just a dog" -- he's family. And like so many others, I placed my trust in professionals to do the right thing. That trust has been broken.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently took my 4 month old French Bulldog in for surgery on his elbow after learning our regular vet couldn’t complete the surgery due to how tedious it was. Dr. Dunbar did such a great job and was so informative throughout the whole process. The receptionists were also very understanding and caring. I’m so thankful for the team at Packerland, I don’t know what I would have done otherwise!

Experiencia fantástica: Everything about this place was amazing. The doctor, the staff, the waiting area, lobby, and rooms. My cat had to have his leg amputated and they made the whole process easy and they were really compassionate. 10/10.

Experiencia negativa: PVC has gone downhill over the several years. We have been bringing our dogs here since 2002. Everyone we trusted is gone, except for Julie, who is amazing. First, at our most recent visit, the vet said nothing looked concerning. No bald or red spots. He recommended using benadryl. If that didn't work then we could try allergy testing or a thyroid test. So, we followed that advice. After 3 weeks, we called back for an appointment. How is it that an animal cannot get in until Feb 2025? That is crazy! Well, they can see my dog but it will be considered an emergency visit, which will cost extra. In addition, we followed the vet's recommended plan, but it is listed as we declined all services. We followed his recommendation. How is that declining services? This is just one of many issues we have encountered in the recent years. Unfortunately, we are forced to look for a new vet. This must be exactly what they want us to do as they sent us, without our request, a transfer file form in an email that stated “Please complete with the facilities information and we will forward your pets records to them.” Not a thank you for being a long time client. If you decide to transfer services, feel free to complete this so we can transfer the records. Their customer service, particularly from Susie, has shown they care about more the dollars and not my pets well being. Response: As far as your no tolerance policy, I never demanded. I never raised my voice. I was polite, remained calm and didn't call names or use any profanity. I simply asked her to stop interrupting me as I was trying to make sure I understood the options. Susie made it sound like she could get us in and then said we couldn't. Then, we questioned when we could. This is where timing of no availability until Feb came in unless we wanted an extra charge. Thank you for solidifying that we have made the right choice by moving to our new vet. Best of luck in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Packerland vet is simply amazing the communication and explanation from the front desk to the Dr. Is fantastic. Our puppy got hit by a car on a Friday and having the worse experience possible over the weekend with blue pearl. Packerland was able to get her in on Monday, give us our options and explain everything along with giving us a quote on what it was going to cost. They were able to make time for her the next day and get her the help she needed. I simply can't thank them enough for being caring, passionate and helpful! Thank you Packerland vet.

Experiencia fantástica: 100% recommend packerland vet!! my cat was experiencing a lot of trouble with his eye. i thought it was an eye infection or pink eye, i went to many different vets and no one could tell me what was wrong with his eye. some didn’t even speak to me about it and just sent me home with eye medication that i found out wasn’t even doing anything to it because it had nothing to do with his actual eye. i’ve been here twice and both times everyone was so so sweet and was never rude. i know vets have to deal with a lot of sad experiences but they always have a smile on their face! my kitty koda is doing great after surgery and i finally found a vet i absolutely love! already have my other pets scheduled <3

Experiencia negativa: Almost a thousand dollars later, 2 visits and no answers. Feel like I have a dying dog in front of me that can't walk and out of money to go to another vet. Of course you call and get pricing on simple tests. Then while there. They want you to do every test possible. But then not find any answers except for "it could be this or could be that"...but hey atleast they have a sign on their door while you're waiting you can get 10% off for a positive review. Don't think we will be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent vet! Got my dog’s three vaccinations, exam and test done very quickly with minimal anxiety or ouches. Their waiting room is awesome, with free cold drinks and coffee, a turtle terrarium and two fish habitats. Beautiful indoor koi pond and a fish tank. Plus pet treats, and a very playful kitten! Multiple divided waiting areas to keep anxious pets separate from each other. And kind, knowledgeable staff with excellent service. It’s also very well located, and their prices are the best I’ve found. I recommend getting an appointment as soon as possible, as slots do fill quickly. I think they’re completely worth it. : ) Took great care of my service dog.

They took us in when no one else would and was a tremendous help with our second dog that ended up with DCM due to grain free food. The staff is always so compassionate and the doctors have all been excellent to work with and very knowledgeable. We lost our lab end of 2023 and We are back here with are new pup for continued great care!

Experiencia negativa: I am not one to try and defame a company, especially a veterinary clinic as I’m such an animal lover. But I would beg anyone who is reading this to not support this business. I am 100% for vet clinics and I think they all do their best that they can but please please do not take your dog here. Our beloved family pet was taken here for a surgery on her leg. They absolutely botched the surgery. We just found out after taking her to a real vet clinic, and these doctors are saying so much damage was done that it just cannot be fixed now. After her surgery, she had to stay in the clinic. Which is obvious and expected. They never let her out to use the bathroom after the surgery, and left her there overnight. She soiled herself in this little kennel and was scared to death throughout the night. We kept our cool with the people working but were absolutely irritate. The mistreatment of the dog was one thing, but the fact we paid 5 grand for it.. and, the surgery wasn’t performed correctly was astonishing to me. Again I hate to leave a review like this, I get it things happen. But I would beg anyone who is reading this to just bite the bullet, maybe pay a little more, and take your dog somewhere better. God bless. In response: you do have that pet, she is in your system. She wasn’t under my name specifically, as I said- family pet. This review and this case specifically is already being taken further than a simple review. Ivy was her name and she was grossly mistreated. I am just hoping that one person will read this review and decide to use a different vet clinic, any other vet clinic. She IS in your system, and you did operate on her. At the very bare minimum, take accountability for your mistakes made. I have the doctors name and all of the paperwork, but I don’t think it’s moral to defame a specific person on the web. Just trying to save some other family from using this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Packerland Vet is amazing! We had an emergency type situation where we couldn't get into the ER Vet. We called Packerland as our normal vet and the Dr was so compassionate that they were able to squeeze our dog in even tho they were booked solid. This is the only vet clinic to come to. We can't express how thankful we are for such an amazing group of people who truly show their love of animals.

Unfortunately she is having the other one done and it is great I can feel confident with his work. It was worth driving from the fox valley to green bay to receive such good care.

The staff is great and they explain to you everything you need to know about your pet. It is also really nice that they call you on follow ups from a procedure or emergency visit. Dr. Brian Broekman is just outstanding. Never met a vet who goes out of his way for my Lucy Loo. Even more importantly he is a exceptionally human being for caring about the owner and her needs as well

I was in an emergency situation with my dog and was in need of finding somewhere that could do a surgery for an affordable price and also her coming in with an infection . Dr . Geaudry and her team of vet techs are hands down the best team I’ve ever had the privelage of working with. You saved my baby and I will be forever grateful to you guys ! I definitely will be back again in the future !

He is always personal and professional and we are always 100% confident leaving our family member in his as well as his teams trusted care! We highly recommend this team for your pets care!

Experiencia negativa: We brought our dog in for a pre-neuter appointment. He got some vaccines and we mentioned that he had a limp twice that went away. Turns out he had 2 tick diseases (later confirmed by a different vet because our schedule didn't line up with Packerland's urgent care availability). We then went to order tick chewables for our dog because we found them cheaper elsewhere. Packerland doesn't approve Rx through email or fax from other companies. This makes it difficult when we live an hour away and can't just swing by for a written prescription. We drove there because we moved out of the area but trusted them. They just don't make it easy on customers that don't live close. We weren't trying to get pain medication approved, it was flea and tick prevention. For those that live further away, make sure you plan ahead because this vet won't send anything for you.

Experiencia fantástica: We were referred for our dog to have surgery to repair a torn ligament. Scheduling was easy and staff was very helpful. Dr. Dunbar explained everything very well and due to cancellation did the surgery same day. Cooper was a rescue and has trust issues so we really appreciate the care he has received.

The front desk staff is SO sweet, they answered so many questions for me before we even got in the front door for our appointment! Dr. Dunbar's experience in this field is impressive, and he walked us through all of our options in great detail with zero pressure to go one way or another. We are thrilled about the level of care our dog will receive here, and thankful to have such an experienced professional in our hometown.

Each time the staff has been professional and always take the time to answer questions. You can tell they truly care about their patients. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Dunbar did surgery for my dogs ACL tear and he was fabulous. He sat down with me and explained everything and the different types of surgeries my dog could have. We chose the newest surgery the CBLO and my dog is doing great! He is back to his normal self being able to run and swim with no pain. Thank you Dr Dunbar! I did have one bad experience here though and it was an emergency with my 9 year old yellow lab that had been diagnosed with cancer. We called Packerland and they said to bring him right I . We ended up having to euthanize him. I asked the Dr treating him I think it was Dr Olson if she would sedate him first and she said no. I still relive that day over and over in my mind that my beautiful boy went like that. It was a very traumatic experience.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t know how there are so many good reviews for this place, not sure if we are just getting unlucky with who we are getting, but we have only had one good experience here and that was our first visit. Since then they are unnecessarily rough with our dog, from gripping parts of her body so roughly she yipes and cowers away from them. (she is excellent and friendly to everyone) and grabs her to drag her around, when she listens just fine, scaring her so much that she urinates (again hasn’t done that since she was under a year old, she’s 3 now) not to mention when my wife goes alone they always question whether or not our dog is hers or if it’s her parent’s dog (my wife is 23). It just seems very unprofessional.

I really appreciate the follow up text/calls to check up on him. The ladies at the reception desk are awesome also. I will definitely be back for all of Jaspers needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Very Pleased! I am usually petrified to bring my animals to the vet due to so many experiences of having major problems afterwards. I called around and felt confident after speaking to the receptionist I knew she cared. When I went in for the pre-exam for my boy's neutering I noticed a sign saying 10% off if give them a five-star review, I thought oh no all those five-stars are meaningless now. Well then I nervously brought him for the surgery. Dr. Olsen and the technician were incredible. They were so great to work with: listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, gave me alternatives, gave me extra information regarding diet and a good website I already looked at and really like. I couldn't of asked for a better visit, it was perfect. I left my boy there feeling relieved. I picked him up everything was great. All three receptionists I dealt with were super. I received information on the medication given; that was great. Usually just given meds. without any warnings from other vets. I also had a question after picking him up called and the receptionist immediately asked the doctor and came back with an answer. Oh, and I never showed them my review to get a discount so that is definitely not the reason for writing this. The only thing that bothered me was when we walked through the driveway it was filled with salt; I only use sand and wood ashes at my house so the dogs don't lick that toxic off their paws. Maybe they use a pet friendly de-icer I don't know I didn't ask. I will definitely go back in the future and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good vet.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Broekman is our vet at Packerland. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but so compassionate. He had been treating my cat, Idris. Idris loved Dr. Broekman. She was always a good judge of character and if she immediately warmed up to you, you were a special person. Idris warmed up to him right away. Sadly Idris passed away, though Dr. Broekman did everything he could. He was able to figure out what was wrong very quickly - but it was just a case of it being a problem that could not be mended. He handled everything with so much compassion for me, my husband, and (most importantly) Idris. He talked to her the whole time and was so kind and gentle. She was not scared or in any stress in his care. If you are reading this, Dr. Broekman... we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did for Idris.

The environment is incredibly welcoming and mindful of making both the pets and humans feel at ease with designated waiting areas and thoughtful touches. Every interaction we had was so incredibly kind and compassionate. So very grateful to have such wonderful veterinary care in our area.

Experiencia fantástica: The most amazing vet in the area! All of the staff is compassionate, friendly and very helpful! Our first visit was to put our senior dog down, as we had just moved to the area, we were not an established client yet, Packerland was the only vet understanding of our situation and willing to work with us. They showed care, compassion and comfort in a difficult time. The process was the best you could make out of the situation. We continued to use Packerland for our other dog and are so thankful for them! I have referred friends who are not disappointed ☺️

Made something very stressful and emotional easier on us, very knowledgeable and would recommend anyone needing care bring their animals here. Will be going back with the rest of my animals.

Experiencia fantástica: Called on Friday, got in Monday morning to take a look at a cut on my black labs leg. Monday by 11am we were on our way home with 4 stitches. They also did give me a weekend visit option but said it wasn’t necessary. Everyone at the clinic was every nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Packerland Vet has been our preferred vet over the past couple years. They have taking great care of our elder dog, our cat and our new puppy. They were able to care for our puppy during an urgent time and communicated with me frequently on his progress during his stay. I have great trust in their competent staff.

Experiencia negativa: Update just called to schedule appointment for shots and they denied an appointment because of my review. Better then TLC, But not happy. I asked them to cancel the assurance plan after I used and paid for everything. I was advised that it would be canceled. I did not use it for anything since. They got payment I received NO service. They said there was no notes. I cannot see their system to make sure they are doing their job. Disorganized.... They said they will refund 40 dollars of the three months. I hope the $80 is worth loosening a long time customer. $80 would go a long way for our family. How much would it hurt this company. I guess if they pull this stunt on enough people they will be making some easy money.

Experiencia negativa: I called them to ask a question since we had adopted a dog from the Humane Society about Heartguard and seriously one of the rudest women picked up. I understand I'm not your client but this is a new dog so if your looking for new clients I suggest maybe not talking to them this way. That chases people away right away! Not impressed at all.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a cat with severe dental issues that was only four years old and we went to several vets and they wanted to put the cat down. We drove to Packerland vet clinic in Green Bay, Wi and they were able to work us in and check the cat. They then gave us options to save that cat while providing him a healthy and happy life. They were accurate on their cost and there services were fair. Their facility was immaculate and oraginozed and all the employees and vets were very personable and great to work with. If there is an option to save a pet, they will find it.

Previously we had been taking one of our dogs to another vet in town and found they preferred to push medications versus diagnose the issues. 10/10 recommend Packerland as they took the time to properly diagnose our pups issues and have been nothing but accommodating!

Experiencia fantástica: Packerland vet is one of the best vets. We recently had to put down our elderly dog down and Packerland was the best during the hard time in our life. We have another animal that is handicap and Packerland is understanding / supportive / caring. One of our cats had to have emergency surgery and they did amazing with her. Packerland is more than a vets office and you can tell the difference from any other vets office in Green Bay. I would recommend this vet over any other vets office in Green Bay. Experiencia negativa: if you care about your pet & your wallet, stay far away from this place! my dog needed an acl repair & dr dunbar suggested the CBLO (the more expensive & extensive option of the 3 ways to repair an acl). we’re over a year past the surgery date & my dogs leg is absolutely mangled thanks to Dr Dunbar. i all but had to beg him to even see my dog post op, and of course he wrote it off as “fine”. So i took him for THREE other opinions, considering i already invested $10,000 total into this leg with packerland. ALL THREE other opinions agreed immediately before even taking x-rays that it wasn’t done properly or was over-corrected. They were all also very confused as to why a CBLO was done and not the “gold standard” TPLO… (now i know it was because packerland just wanted more money). So i take him back to packerland, and dr dunbar still refuses to admit anything’s wrong. Of course i transferred him to a new vet since Packerland doesn’t want to remedy the situation or even TRY to help!!! fast forward to now, and they are STILL AN ISSUE!!! They refuse to send records, which is illegal, causing my dog to get double vaccines due to lack of necessary records being transferred. Packerland truly only cares about the $$ and could care less about you and your pet after you pay. If your dog has a torn ACL & for whatever reason Packerland and Dr. Dunbar are your only option, i would recommend letting it be, because my dog is in way worse shape than before i brought him to this facility. There are plenty of other options in this area, just do your research beforehand unlike me! attached is a current photo of my dogs leg, which i think anyone can see it is NOT “fine”. You’d think Dr. Dunbar would’ve wanted to remedy this if he cared about pets, instead i’m back at square one, just about $10,000 poorer.

Experiencia fantástica: On Saturday morning we brought our dog Angel into Packerland Veterinary Center as an emergency walk-in. She had been throwing up and diarrhea all night and about 6:30am we found blood in her very liguid stools. Even though we are not a patient of their clinic, they did not hesitate to take her in. Dr. Brian and Staff were amazing and so compassionate. I am happy to say, after blood work and x-rays, Angel was diagnosed with an intestinal infection and we were able to bring her home with meds and lots of snuggles. We were so impressed by the care we received on a Saturday morning, that we are going to switch Angel over to their clinic as a patient going forward. Thank you again Dr. Brian and Staff! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I've used Packerland veterinary Center for almost 20 years now. I currently have two dogs, four rabbits, three birds, and two hamsters under their care and have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff. They all truly care about the pets AND the humans. and this is coming from someone who has probably had nearly 100 vet visits in the past 2-3 years due to our number of pets! I highly recommend using their Assurance plan and supplementing that with Nationwide pet insurance for emergency coverage.

Dr. Dunbar and staff were fantastic with her surgery and shared she didn’t need everything her regular vet advised. We are so thankful for not only how professional and caring the staff was, but that they were also able to get her in earlier than initially anticipated. The doctors and staff took really good care of him and communicated what we needed to do at home. We are really happy with their service and how much they cared for our dog.

Since we traveled from out of town, we appreciated the option of appointment and surgery (if possible) the same day. Our golden had the CBLO surgery. Dr. Dunbar is wonderful to work with. He is very thorough, explains things well, is compassionate, and laid out the options we had. Even though we were still nervous about the surgery, we felt like our dog was in good hands. We greatly appreciated the update after surgery to tell us how she was doing. Highly recommend Packerland Vet!

They did a good job of listening to all of our concerns and histories. Took good care of the dog, and seemed genuinely concerned about helping us figure out what was wrong. They told us about costs upfront, which is very helpful… Overall, we felt good about our choice to bring our dog here.
