Experiencia fantástica: We brought our dog Hershey in. I was apprehensive of a few posts on here. I assure you it was fast drop off, easy pick up.Professional staff. Hershey got neutered and chipped. REMEMBER when u deal with hundreds of people, there will be a few that you just can't please. It's day 2 of his return home, pain meds seem to be working just fine (a little groggy as expected).I would recommend these services highly. THANK YOU ALL!! P. S. Experiencia negativa: I am going to out this hospital for its terrible service. I took my kitten in to get neutered reg time, they had to keep him overnight because there was food crumbs in the cage, my cat came back with my crate BROKEN cracked apart and they did not bring it to my attention, and my cat dehydrated and starving. yes, anesthesia makes them dehydrated but i mean he drank water for 2 days straight, unlike any of my other cats. his boy parts were literally dripping blood, and when i tried putting the cone they gave us on him, he choked. no matter how loose because they did NOT measure. so im currently having to use a paper plate. The biggest issue of all. his mouth. We brought him back in and they BLAMED IT ON THE CAT. for having " abnormally large teeth" whilst he was under anesthesia his teeth penetrated his mouth, and the cone being too small put more pressure on his mouth causing more irritation. it has been infected, bleeding, and scabbing since. They sent him back home with nothing to do besides give him wet food. which also is just making it more raw and irritable. no antibiotics, nothing. this place is horrendous. as a vet, shouldnt you look out for that? please avoid getting your pets fixed here or taken care of.!!!!!! UPDATE!!!!!! I had to bring him in to cvets and spend 300 because it got EVEN WORSE. They had to deep clean his mouth and prescribe 2 painkillers & antibiotics. you guys are SO WRONG for what you did to my cat.

Experiencia negativa: if I could give this place a 0 I would. They only deal with dogs under 60lbs and they are no cheaper then a normal vet. I would not recommend using this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff took great care of our rescued Chihuahua for spay, chipping, and shots. They also did a fine job with the weekend shot clinic follow-up. She healed quickly and without any issues. I recommend showing up early for the weekend shot clinics as it can get busy and wait times can be long if you show up mid morning. Make sure to make a donation of your service is free.

Experiencia negativa: Got my boy neutered, They pick up at car and bring back to car. 10 days out my boy had issues so here's what u need to know. If u travel after 10 days, and there is an issue you on your own. They will not help, and in fact they will blame you for the outcome of your pet. If you from another town in sc is your fault for traveling that far. The lady who responds to your "issue" is rude, talks over you, talks in circles and in no way will you get a word in, much less a complete sentence. They can't do any prescription meds for any problems thats caused by the surgery, they will send u elsewhere. They also upcharged me 50.00 because he supposing weighed over 60 lbs, which he was never weighed. Gru my dog has always been well behaved and I dont know what he dealt with but I have fought him refusing his crate, refusing to sleep away from me and running from me when off leash inside my home..things he's never ever done before being left at this place. All around an issue they say, oh we want to help your pet..sure u do. They make it impossible to have an adult conversation, and since they aren't affiliated with any human society outside of sc, they can't help. Please take ur pet anywhere but here. I've had pets 40 plus years and never had an issue like this, totally unprofessional. I paid a 50. Deposit, which u dont get back then another 162. A response to thier response.. when I emailed and got a return call from yall, the lady I spoke to was unprofessional and very rude, never allowing an actual conversation to happen. 1st off I can assure u I have and will always make sure my dogs are properly cared for. The point is, I told yall that I traveled alot. At that point this conversation should have happened that yall do not do anything outside the state. And telling me that its against the law to send a antibiotic for a dog yall have obviously done surgery on is bs. It seems to me the director issues was, 1 yall never make a mistake on any surgery, gru having problems is 100% my fault because as she said, I drove him too far, I allowed him to run, jump, and lick..how she would know any of this is beyond me..and again I did none of these. I stayed in Columbia for the 5 days to make sure we were good. Either way, its not any 1 persons fault. It was always and will always be about conversation, respect, finding a solution, and gru health. Blaming me, talking over me, lying about what can and can't be done is and will always be the issue here. Miss director seems to think that by refusing conversation, blaming the owner, and then refusing to find options is acceptable behavior. It's not, I choose this place not because of is a low cost nuter place, but because it was close to where I was seeing family. I am not the type of person who usually complains and write bad reviews but I felt the over talking, blame game is grounds others need to know before choosing this place to handle thier babies. I firmly believe someone needs to step in and review processes and find another director or person that knows how to have a conversation. I believe and will stand on the principle of how it was handled was wrong. I travel to give my family the opportunity to see our country, and I take my beloved pets along for that ride. I've dealt with many ppl in this world and you ppl are rude and disrespectful. 165. Plus 50 is 215. Not a hundred dollar nuter.. In the last year that I've traveled i believe this is the 2nd bad review I've given and I stand by what I said.

Experiencia negativa: I got a cat kitten from the humane society it looked okay when I first got him home and he was fine for a while then he got sick, took him to the hospital two times they gave him meds didn't work, I spent over $200 I took the cat to the SPCA they didn't do anything about it, all I want is another kitten and they wouldn't do it they said I had to pay $35 I miss my kitten then I found out they had to put him down didn't tell me about it or anything I was very very sad. I went there November 7th to talk about getting another kitten and place of the one that they put down and they said no that I had to pay $35 after I spent over $200 on the cat getting well I get all my cats from SPCA I have three beautiful cats that have for a long time... I don't think it's fair what they didn't do for me and the medicine they gave me none of it worked I'm so disappointed in garners ferry animal clinic and the SPCA on humane. I won't be going there anymore

Experiencia fantástica: There are no words to describe the wonderful organization created to be Humane Your fur babies have the best care from the best staff. Fur Baby Angels took care of my kittens Mac and Cheesy's surgery, shots, treated them for fleas and loaned me two separate carriers for each because they have to stay apart. Unfortunately, Mac and Cheesy kept escaping by barreling through the crates Provided econes to keep them from licking their surgery and they're unhinged and wild. I hope they calm down. I don't have kittens, they're buffalos!

Experiencia fantástica: The drive through system they have is awesome. Takes no time even for the long line I thought it would take a while but it was super quick. I think I got lucky because someone cancelled and got an appt right away but I see they are fully booked and I can see why.. They kept me posted. Even sent an email with the payment info so I could pay with a card ahead of pick up along with all info and the price of course can't be beat. Also I thought it was super sweet that they asked if "someone has checked on your baby" when they came out to my car.. They didn't just act like they were animals and treated my baby as such.. will be getting my new kitten in there asap!! And will recommend!! Also my baby healed quick with little downtime and is back to himself!!! Great job!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took all 4 of my pups there for their vaccination. Making the appointment online was quick and easy. It was fast. It the cost was great a year ago I was spending easily 1K for vaccination and flea and tick treatment. With the Human Society I spent less than $400.00. And all the ladies were great. I will definitely be using them and supporting their organization in the future

Experiencia negativa: Whichever lady it is that answers the phone is the most disrespectful, bitter, spiteful woman I’ve EVER spoken to. Not only did she reschedule wrong TWICE, but she is so rude. I hope she is gone soon. She makes calling this place awful. Her name is Betty. In reply, Betty was supposed to change my appointment the FIRST TIME for a large dog and still failed to, so regardless even if I would have made the appointment I STILL wouldn’t have even been able to take her because BETTY messed up my appointment and didn’t have her listed as a large dog (which she literally laughed in my face about) so I’m glad I did miss that appointment because I would have wasted my time bringing my dog. I swapped appointments with my mom’s previous appointment so don’t as if you did anything to help or “squeeze me in.” And no my mom did not apologize for my behavior, I actually was right beside her during the phone call. My mom has also made several verbal complaints about Betty. Thanks Also, the fact you really replied back AFTER you called to ask me to remove this (and I refused) l is so unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: +1 star for doing the surgery and for taking me even tho i was later than the drop off time (called ahead due to ubers and wrong location). Lost 4 stars for these reasons: -1 for lack of information regarding crates. I was told my crate was too big and the wrong type. It was a metal cage that had a swinging open and close door. Their crate was the same size and cost me money to take theirs; they didnt keep my crate in storage so i had to take it home and not be able to get my money back. It never said in any emails or sign up for appt that metal crate wasnt allowed. -1 for choosing to leave shit in the crate. -2 for not putting on the cone I was charged more than a reasonable amount of money for. The cone didnt fit properly either which they would have known if they did their job. They knew she was aggresive as i mentioned before the appointment. Doesnt help they didnt cut her nails as i got clawed into oblivion attempting to put the cone on. Also the crate was covered in dead flies and lead flies into my place so beware they are dirty. From the email they quoted... "Domestic cats must be free of all collars and/or harnesses and must come in a hard plastic carrier with a working gated front. One cat per carrier , no soft/fabric carriers, triangle carriers, or top opening only carriers accepted. NO blankets or towels in carrier. If the cat carrier contains ANY food/treat, we will not perform surgery that day and you will have to re-schedule." No where stating no metal carrier.

Experiencia negativa: these people are extremely rude and i had a very bad experience with this clinic. i will never ever bring any of my pets back here. they talk to people like they’re not even human, it’s disgusting. Even asked to be put on the phone with a higher up and she attempted to excuse the black lady’s behavior that has had an attitude with me everytime i’ve ever spoken to her for absolutely no reason. my boyfriend and brother said the same thing when they went up there.

Experiencia negativa: I would give this place zero stars if I could . Please don’t take your animal to this place . I took mine june 5th to be neutered. My cat was returned to me in his own pee. Then I noticed a lump forming on his front leg . I tried to call for a recheck and to find out what happened to my fur baby while he was there . They have yet to return my calls over a week later . So I had to take my cat to the vet . The vet said he has an abcsess . This vet caused it by sticking him in the wrong spot or getting into a cat fight with another cat at the humane society. Save yourself the trouble and take your pet to somewhere more professional .

Experiencia positiva: Great customer service, friendly folks, I appreciate the cheap prices and easy pick up/drop off, and that they gave us food and treats after the operation, however when I picked up my cat after getting fixed, she was covered in her own feces including on and around the incision. It was caked into her fur like she's been sitting in it for a while. I understand animals have accidents, I just feel like they need to do better in making sure that at least the incision is clean before releasing animals back to their folks

Experiencia fantástica: I normally use a clinic that I will not name. I decided to give the Humane Society a try because they are cheaper. The staff was friendly and checking in and out was easy. 10 days later my kitten has fully recovered from her spay surgery. I'll definitely use the Humane Society for my youngest kitten. Follow up to my original review. My cat ended up getting an infection which was my fault. She started playing to soon and would take her cone off and lick her incision. I called the Humane Society this morning and they saw my cat today. My cat is now home sleeping from the meds and should fully recover.

I was unable to get one of my cats fixed due to a cough she had and they let me put the deposit to my other cat and reschedule her for a later date. While I didn’t use a voucher, I really appreciate that they give that option to make spay neuter more accessible .

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the service they offered. It's easy to find and make appointments online. Lots of information is available online, and when you drop your pet off, they give you printed information as well. You don't have to go inside at all. People get you checked in at the car and also take your pet and bring your pet back. They also send a link after your pet's bill is finalized so that you can pay before you get there. The process is designed to make these easier and more efficient, and I absolutely think they achieved that. My son's cat had a great experience and is doing wonderfully. The people I dealt with were nice. I have no doubt that I will use their services again and have already recommended them.

Experiencia positiva: At first it’s highly organized and lowest prices around for neutering procedures but then we have a high energy large breed dog which needed anti anxiety meds in order to help while he healed from surgery.. we were only given meloxicam for his pain well it worked for pain because he was as hyper and high energy ever. Our dog ended up ruining his surgery until his testicles were swollen and filled with blood, he started to reject food and vomit. We ended up taking him to another Vet And they told us he should have been put on Trazodone and forced to be kenneled and or coned on for 10 days until recovery. We ended up paying the new vet $160 additional dollars for XRay to see what was the problem and given pain, antibiotics and trazodone for his recovery, something that could have been prevented in the first place. In this economy every dollar counts and hits like this put families at risk! Please do better for your pet families!

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place I’ve ever been to.. I’ve rescheduled twice two days off work to be turned around at the door saying I need her skin cleared up.. my opinion is because she’s a pitbull dog or the doctor is just lazy. I’m not sure but it’s very frustrating to keep getting rescheduled and not listen to anything you have to say. She has a speckled color skin on her belly and it’s just as smooth as can be. I have no info on why they will not do the surgery. They don’t care to tell you just say no can’t do it. Sorry I advise going somewhere else.

The ladies here are super good w animals and I’ve never encountered anyone rude or impatient. They will let you walk your dog to the door if your pet is very anxious. They have all their services and appointments on line so you know exactly your options. They are so reasonable priced I quit giving my pup flea and tick treatments myself and take her here for 20$ for 3 months ! And it works she does not bite and scratch at herself at all after about 12 hours. I was paying double that and she still got an occasional flea. Can’t say enough good stuff about these professionals!

Experiencia negativa: Both of my dogs got spayed. The spay itself was fine but we specifically asked them not to clip their nails as they had already been done (filed and cut). We were told that they wouldn’t be touched and it was in file. When I picked them up my one dog was absolutely terrified and when I looked at both of their nails, every single one had been quicked pretty far up and they had been bleeding. Nothing was mentioned to me at pick up either about it. I would’ve given 5 stars, but I feel like this could’ve easily been avoided and should not have happened.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you folks for taking wonderful care of our Miss Kiara. Miss Kiara was spayed, e-collar, nails trim, and vaccines. Drop off and pick up was a breeze. The whole process is very organized. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. Her incision site looks amazing. This place does amazing things.

Experiencia negativa: i called bc i got sent an email saying the price of the services may have gone up. a lady answered the phone and i said i was checking the see the price change on my voucher appointment, she starts reading off the regular prices and i let her finish and i said “that’s for the voucher?” and she said “you never said anything abt the voucher” when i know i did. then she says she can’t find my appointment in the system then starts cutting me off when i speak and being extremely rude. my appointment is tomorrow and this is my first and LAST time doing this. i’m very disappointed.

In order to save even more money.. with a voucher.. neuter dog over 50 pounds, heart worm test, rabies, distemper, e collar/ cone. Medicine for pain. Medical waste fee.( But also very very friendly people) $140 total I feel like this type of place is essential to this state!

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t go back to this place whatsoever. They have charged for flea treatment when he came in on flea medicine and shampoo. This was also after a grooming appointment. I have checked all over him before he came in and they made sure to put him on treatment which wasn’t necessary. Also very rude customer service. The lady rolled her eyes when I brought this up to her. Wouldn’t listen to me whatsoever. Also, when they were loading my dog, they wouldn’t let me help whatsoever this ensuing that they hit him right where his incision was. Wasn’t gentle at all.

Pricing is more than fair; for instance, getting your dog spayed here is less than a quarter of the price it typically costs at a regular vet, and the veterinarians here I've met truly care about the needs of the animals coming and going. We're lucky to have this great facility with such compassionate people in our community.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my German Shepherd and Shepherd mix to receive rabies vaccines October 18th. Liked the pre-register and prepay online. I dealt with several ladies who were all helpful and nice. Only took a few minutes. Process and paperwork received very efficient.

Experiencia positiva: I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. When I got her back, she had adhesive on her leg that they ended up removing a week later when I took her for a recheck, but she ended up healing ok. It was just a small spot where the skin had to be pulled off. How much she was moving, I can see how that may have happened, i guess. The scar looked odd to me at first but was fine after they cleaned it up at the recheck. For the price, it was definitely worth it because I would either have to wait 4+ months or pay over 400, and I could not afford that.

Experiencia positiva: I got a voucher that was supposed to cover the cost of the spay. Because it took them 5 months to get my dog her appointment, I had to pay $100 because they had "changed their policy". That didn't make me happy, but my pup was cared for.

Experiencia negativa: We thought everything was perfect,... but it didn't turn out that way! We took our dog to be neutered and he had complications after his surgery and had to go back as an emergency patient. A tube from his surgery came out of his behind and was hanging out where they neutered him. To repair that cost almost $500! ALSO, his eyes were very bloodshot and came to find out it was from them putting the leash around his neck too tight! It choked him and the blood vessels blew behind his eyes! He was so not receptive of the employees there that he growled at them. Yes, he is a pit bull mix but never has he been treated roughly or unkindly!.....until he went there! We are hurt they did this to him and never said a word except he was "grouchy" which we understood it to be after he had surgery.....this caused trauma for all of us! I'm so sorry for my boy! He's full of love and pet me, pet me all the time! Shame on the staff and how they treated him! Unacceptable!

Their prices were the most affordable of the area, they provided guidance on every step of the process through emails and reminders. When I dropped my dog they were very very helpful, asked a lot of questions and put me at ease. They provided everything that was needed for the aftercare and even additional tips! I strongly recommend them!

They go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis and will help in any way they can! With the wonderful voucher program there is no reason why anybody can't get their animals spayed, neutered and shots! They make it so easy!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the place in the Columbia/Lexington, South Carolina, region to bring you pets for preventive medicine care and neutering. We brought our third rescue dog in for his puppy shots just this week. This type of appointment is "walk-in"; but you can get a time reserved online the day before. This is way convenient. I put the mode of visit in quotes because, like all vet services since the pandemic, the services are all provided via drive-up. No worries though, the staff are professionally efficient, polite and seem to truly love their clients (i.e., my puppies).

Experiencia fantástica: I had my dog spayed ant the main clinic in Columbia and I was very happy with registration , communication and professionalism of entire staff . She had the same , if not better , care than she gets at our vet and at 1/5 th of the cost .

Experiencia positiva: we went and got our 1 year old puppy neutered. the process was easy. you pull up the the building they take the animals name, they do a questionnaire and grab your pet. same thing for pick up, nice and easy.

Experiencia positiva: My first time going there. I found a dog yesterday (without a collar), and wanted them to check if she had a chip, and asked if they could do an exam. They said that unfortunately they did not do exams there. Even more unfortunate, no chip was found!!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love all yhe ladies that work here they are all so sweet gentle and kind with both owners and animals fast service at a extremely affordable price, I am taking our now 2nd dog to get neutered the 19th and just took my other one that has been fixed and his first shots for his second year shots every encounter has been amazing. Experiencia positiva: I can say, this place is affordable and allowed me to get my male cat spayed while dealing with some money issues. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is for the fact that for the past 2 months I have dealt with an extremely bad case of fleas, which has now spread to all the animals in the house. I am severely allergic to fleas and very prone to being bit as per my blood type. I believe this place could do a better job of making an option to see if other owners animals have fleas or simply just informing others that hey, your animal may have fleas from visiting our clinic. We have never had fleas in our home until after he came back from surgery because of my allergy. But the neglect to ask owners if they have fleas before entering into a place full of susceptible animals, is not ok. I do not have the money to afford all types of expensive treatments for all 3 animals and to treat my whole apartments carpet.

Experiencia fantástica: They provide low cost spay/neuter, low cost vaccines, low cost flea, tick and heartworm meds and microchipping not to mention the staff here is phenomenal. If you're on a budget, like most of us are, this is the place for some of your pet's basic medical needs. What's not to love.

Experiencia fantástica: I simply love this place. You sit in your car and deliver your fur baby to the people that genuinely care. Vaccinations are easy and inexpensive. Example, I took my baby to the vet doc, for a rabies and bordetella shot 80.00. Here, 20.00. You do the math.

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give them a zero. They didn't do my dogs surgery , claiming his sensitivity to simpiarco trio prevented it. They refused to do his shots, Even though he had them before there . They didn't feed him all day and let him starve. Not happy with them and will never go there or recommend them to anyone. He didn't have a seizure and you couldn't do shots or clip his nails. So no I won't be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: This is absolutely a wonderful place to get your animal either spayed or neutered and for them to get their yearly vaccinations. I know my pet is in great hands. I love the fact that it is a no-kill shelter. The staff here is absolutely wonderful!!
