Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff at the Laredo Animal Clinic. They were very kind, helpful, and quick. I have had to wait hours to be seen at other vets. Laredo Animal Clinic had me and my pet out the door while I would’ve still been waiting at other clinics. I am very happy with Dr.Flores and all the staff for being understanding of my pet and her needs. If you are in need of a vet, I highly recommend this clinic.

Experiencia negativa: I looked good but it has no safety I went with my puppy and he was fine in the morning and he got the parvo vacen and they gave him a over doses and they said he only had a little and that they were going to be closed the next day while my sister that has her own dog had a appointment the next day and when we took the dog to a other vet that said that this vet over dose my dog.i had DR. Gerardo vela.

They were empathetic and kind to my situation. Dr. Flores was clear and honest about her diagnosis and treatment. I trusted them completely with my baby. Stephanie is amazing, watched over Ninja and nursed him back to health. She has great communication and you could tell she cared even through the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanks to them, my fur baby is alive. I’m eternally grateful to Dr. Flores and her staff. This will be the only place I will ever take my Ninja from now on. Highly recommended.

The vets always listen to all of our concerns, and I can tell how much they care about their patients! I go for routine/annual visits (sometimes more often due to a variety of reasons), and they’re great every time! I especially appreciate their response! I usually have a question here and there, so I can text their number, and they always answer! I appreciate every one of them!

I explained that I work all day and can’t keep him.She was compassionate and helped me reach a decision. The kitty was placed in a shelter where he can recuperate and be adopted. Experiencia fantástica: I took a stray cat that I had come to love. Unfortunately my cat had The FIV virus and had to be euthanized. I was heartbroken and needed time to come to terms with this terrible decision. The doctor and technician were very understanding and gave me all the time I needed to decide and say my tearful goodbye to this kind, gentle creature. I am grateful for their patience and support.

Experiencia negativa: "I'm disappointed to share my recent experience I've trusted this place for years with my two rescue dogs. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt unsettling. When I requested that the technician perform tests in the examination room due to my dog's separation anxiety, she hesitated, citing discomfort with performing procedures in front of owners. This seemed unusual, as I've never had issues with being present during tests before. Although she eventually relented and brought in another technician for support, her initial reluctance to accommodate my request raised concerns. The wait was excessively long, and after being kept in the examination room for an extended period, my dog needed to relieve himself. I took him outside to go to the bathroom, and upon returning, I was kept waiting an additional 20 minutes for the veterinarian to arrive. When Dr. finally attended to my dog, she apologized for the delay and proceeded with the examination alone, without any support staff. Notably, she was handling my dog by herself, and I even offered to assist in holding him to ensure his safety and comfort. Despite my offer, the lack of support staff still seemed unusual. Dr. seemed competent and apologetic. The issues I experienced seemed largely related to the technicians' handling of our visit, particularly their hesitation to perform procedures with me present. The offer to waive the exam fee, while appreciated, seemed like a gesture to mitigate the situation rather than a genuine apology. Unfortunately, this experience was marked by inadequate communication and inefficient processes, which has tarnished my otherwise positive perception of the clinic. Despite Dr.'s efforts, the overall experience fell short of expectations."

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Jarmon saw Beau for the first time and took his time to explain what injections my dog was getting and listened to any concerns I had. I’m very pleased with the service provided by all the veterinarians including Dr Flores and highly recommend this clinic.

Experiencia negativa: I absolutely wouldn't recommend this veterinary if you're a college student or someone who doesn't have the money to pay the $50 consultation, $5 waste fee if your pet had an accident due to stress, and a extra hundred couple of bucks for a mandatory x-ray, blood test and other tests for EVERY visit. I've been there a couple of times for my 6 year old adult cat who has been having skin problems and the vet hasn't been able to pinpoint exactly the problem, we still don't know to this day even after my boy passed away from a extreme UTI emergency due to the vet being completely unreliable and absurdly expensive for treatment. I apologize if this is your go-to vet, that's great that you have a couple more bucks for this veterinary, however there are other places that offer these services at a lower cost and more efficiently.

Experiencia fantástica: My Nigerian dwarf goat Anastasia was having continuous seizures and bloody stools. Luckily Laredo Animal Clinic was able to stabilize her and give her back to me next day. She was lifeless and she is doing so much better. Highly recommend this Veternary Clinic will definitely think of switching over from my current vet. Staff very friendly, informative & attentive as well!

Update, the service continue to be excellent as always and now you get inside to get seated and wait for your turn, service is fast and they have amazing prices. Great place, excellent service, you park in one of the numbered spots, text them to let them know you are there, they come outside to take your pet and take care of them and later they give your pet back to you, and you come inside to pay, the place is clean and well organized, the staff is friendly and ready to assist you, I would be back.

The procedure went flawlessly, and her recovery has been so smooth thanks to the excellent post-op care instructions and the genuine concern they showed during follow-ups. Experiencia fantástica: My visit to LAC was a miracle. I called several veterinary clinics and the waiting list for spaying a cat was months of waiting. In walks Dr Marty Reyes and after checking Fea. She said if I could bring her in the next day for spaying. Fea is now cat # 8.

From reception— to seeing the dr. , Everyone was kind and attentive to me and my pet. The clinic was CLEAN! I appreciate that. I believe the prices were reasonable, we travel alot, and my pet has been seen at 3 different vets in Texas, in different towns, the last couple of months. I would say, the prices of exam and medicine is similar to other vets.. maybe slightly cheaper for some things. I’m very pleased with my visit!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently moved back to the hebbronville area from San Antonio and needed a veterinarian rather quickly as my pups allergies flared up when we got down this way. I was very happy to have found Laredo Animal Clinic online because it was very easy to schedule an appointment even as a new patient. At the clinic, we were greeted warmly, and everything went very smooth. We were in and out of there so quickly. It was a problem focus to visit and cowboy got the best treatment. I think he could have possibly received. They have, an on site pharmacy, so we were sent home with meds. I can't say enough about how efficient the clinic is run. Doctor alexander explained what was going on with Cowboy's systemic system and his allergies and really made it easy for me to understand. I'm very pleased and I guess I should add here that the fees are very reasonable. And I want to say this again, the staff is very warm. Attentive and very sweet.

Experiencia negativa: on the 7th (friday) i had experience bad service with DR ALEXANDER and HIS TECH I was in the waiting exam room for 45 MINUTES while hearing them so loud next door. they had lack empathy for my son. I also rescheduled him to a different vet on tuesday. my son is no longer accepted there due to me missing his second appointment bc i had worked last night until 4am. i didn’t get no text message confirming his appointment. THEY ONLY TRY AND FAVORITE WHO THEY WANT.

I had an accident with my dog ​​Elif just days before New Year's 2025 where we had to have an emergency surgery. She had eaten beef ribs and they were all in her tummy. My experience was excellent from the first phone call to the office, where they treated me with great respect giving me the confidence to arrive at the Laredo Animal Hospital. Once there, Dr. Flores and the assistant Sonia attended to me. They were very kindly, explained the entire surgical process and the different alternatives I had to remove the bones from her tummy. My dog ​​was in the hospital for several days and was released on January 2, 2025. I am very grateful that they allowed me to see my dog ​​on December 31 and even on January 1, which tells me that they are committed to the care of our pets not only physical but also emotional. They kept me up to date all the time with how my dog's progress was going after the operation, something very important because our pets are our babies, we love them more than anyone. Thank you to all the staff for all the professional treatment received. I congratulate you. I will definitely return.

Experiencia negativa: I took my pup in for a parvo test and unfortunately it was positive being new to this, I felt the Dr. would explain to me in detail the pro and cons when taking your dog home without seeking hospitalization, maybe I was looking for a little bit of compassion not everyone has over 2,000 to keep their dog hospitalized however I felt he could have written a plan of care at home out of sympathy, not just be cold and state your pup will die in a day! 126.00 dollar later and Feeling overwhelmed and troubled I seeked out another Vet for advice and he was wonderful my husband and I are working shifts and after researching parvo happy to report our Frida… has been fighting parvo and is on day 6…. I know God is good and she is a fighter… all this she gets to be home with us!! Not saying I would not recommend them, because the female Vet before was amazing but not sure the male Vet has much empathy.

Experiencia fantástica: I went recently during walk/ins, because my cat was sick. The doctor explained very well what was wrong and they admitted her right away. Everyone was very nice especially the woman at the desk. I believe her name was Sonia. As well as the assistant, she explained in detail when and how I could give her medications. They also called me to update me after my cat’s surgery. Overall, it was a nice experience; I will definitely return.

Everything from explaining what we could do as far as treatment. To the true understanding and empathy we felt from our decision to euthanize. They offered us water and assisted us with whatever we needed. We are so incredibly grateful for the kindness and humane assistance we received at Laredo animal care clinic. May I add, upon picking the ashes even the way the staff handed over the bag, so carefully and offered their condolences was something I truly appreciated! Other places were closed due to the Labor Day holiday so I was very thankful to have found Laredo Animal Clinic. Bianca, the vet tech and Dr. Flores were very kind and thorough. They were also sensitive to the fact that I needed options for cost effective treatment as I had recently rescued some other cats and had medical expenses related to that. The vet explained to me the possibilities and I appreciated the fact that they referred me to another vet to see a specialist. This small detail meant a lot to me as it showed that above all else, they care about the animals' well-being. After everything, they still handled the final surgery and were very helpful in keeping me informed and at ease.

Experiencia negativa: Friendly staff, but I feel like they are out to get your money any way they can. They overcharge, they add charges to your bill with no proof they were done. They don't respect your wishes/requests, and it's either their way or the highway. Either you pay, or you can walk out with no treatment (& still pay a high visit fee). HIGHLY recommend "Veterinary Care Center of Laredo" on Clark St.!!! Visited twice in the last month for 2 different dogs. I asked them NOT to run X-rays since my pet had already undergone X-Rays 3 weeks prior, but staff ran them anyway. I never received pictures or proof the X-rays were taken. They charged me $900 & told me that my dog was prefectly fine, & all they did was CLEAN wounds, issue IV and perscribed medication. The second time, I ended up taking my dog home since the $600 they quoted me was too high, yet they still charged me a $260 visit for blood work and issuing IV. They also refused to sell me a VITAMIN that could've helped my dog, they said that the only way they would sell it to me is if I paid the "entire quote/treatment". Doctor said that even with the $600 treatment, it was not certain that my pet would survive, and that they had a dog die last week of the exact same thing. So whether I purchased the entire treatment, or just one vitamin, her chances of survival seemed slim. If I wanted to buy a vitamin, why refuse the sale and tell me I could only purchase it if I pay the whole $600? Thanks for the payment plan option though.

Experiencia positiva: It's a good experience with a physician, though, if the patient's owner is crying while getting the diagnosis and prognosis of their furry loved ones. Vet tech or Ma, please go out of your way and offer them Kleenex, especially if it's right next to you! Show empathy.

Wallace loves it there too and is so comfortable with the staff. We wait outside because Wallace loves to explore and they always call or check if we’re outside. Thank you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jarman and Dr. Landis are the best. My “little dude” as Dr. Jarman refers to, has his health issues due to his age. Dr. Jarman has been amazing in treating them. My baby only saw Dr. Landis once but she was patient with all my questions, made me feel at ease and spoke to me about his treatment plan. I highly recommend these two vets. As for the staff - they are so nice. They are probably hundreds of patients a day and they remember everyone by name. When I arrive with my baby, they smile and welcome him by his name. They treat us like family. Thank you to all the staff and Sonia as well for recommending an awesome dog food that my picky baby liked!

To this day I continue to take my cats there because they show true care and compassion to animals and don’t just try to get your money like other clinics I’ve been to in town. I’m truly grateful for the work that they do at this clinic! Dr. Landis is a wonderful vet along with her vet techs Jen R and Sonia! 10/10 recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my cat to Laredo Animal Clinic since 2011 and have always had a great experience! All vets are great but I especially recommend Dr. Amanda Flores. She is patient and very thorough with the examinations and follow ups and I feel very comfortable with her. The staff is great as well! The waiting time is not so bad as a walk in but I always call ahead for availability and try to schedule an appointment so my wait time is minimal. Thank you for always taking good care of my Coco! She’s a happy, healthy cat thanks to you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: We had an emergency with our dog, on a Sat. We went in as a walk-in, they took care of our dog and staff was very helpful. The Doctor was really kind and explained everything. We are extremely grateful, for the great service we received.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t usually leave reviews but this experience with this clinic really affected me. My chihuahua had been going here these past couple months to get checked because he had cancer and a tumor. I knew his time to go was close and when that day came it was around 10am on a Friday and i called the clinic in a panic telling them my dog looked like he was passing and his blood pressure was extremely low and they told me they couldn’t see him and to wait till 2 until the vets came back because they were going to leave at 11. It’s so sad that my baby was passing in my arms and they still told me to wait, the girl that took my call was very nice and even went to go ask the vets if there was a possibility if they could see my dog and told them he looked like he was passing and they told her no. just shows how much the vets truly care about animals.

Experiencia fantástica: Our 16 yr old chihuahua dauschund had a severe seizure. We rushed her in not ever having been to this clinic before. We were treated with kindness buy all of the staff we had interactions with. Dr Casey came in to examine her and was very gentle with her. We have put her on seizure meds that are taking some time for her to get used to. When I had a concern about it they asked the dr and called me back within a very reasonable amount of time. I Highly recommend this clinic in emergency situations!

Experiencia fantástica: They take walking in’s and the staff and doctor are extremely knowledgeable and kind. They walk you through the process and options for your pets. They also provide you with updates twice a day and did I mention excellent service.

Experiencia negativa: This was my first visit and my experience was not good. When I called and told them my pet could not pee, they said if I did not get there by 11am that my pet would not be seen. My pet was put on walk in list. Then the vet said that this was an emergency that could not wait. There was also another pet that they were turning away that looked like an emergency. So I hope you can educate your staff on what an emergency vs a walk in is. Also, one of the receptionist was short and irritable when she responded when I asked about how much longer. We are already overwhelmed looking for help. At the end of the day they should realize that thanks to the customers and pets that go there they have a job. Last, my pet’s skin was red when I was checking him at home, I don’t know what happened but if they had issues holding him, they could have asked me for help. Vet was nice and I wanted to send a thank you note, but after thinking about the overall experience. I don’t think I will return.

Experiencia fantástica: They are very courteous and understanding of all our concerns for our cuties. They don’t judge you for being worried about the smallest thing and treat our pets with great care. We were concerned about our Zeus’s skin condition and they instantly ran tests and prescribed medications. Third day and I’m surprised at his improvement. ❤️ Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: My experience here has never been great to be honest. I brought my dog here before many years ago, they didn't tell us that they were gonna do some test on him so we were confused of the bill, that was sneaky.. (after a few days later he didnt make it) Reason why I'm doing this review now is cause we brought a cat, they did give him a shot but they didn't know the root of the problem until today I took him to a vet across and she knew what was going on with him. So this was my experience here.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time at Laredo Animal Clinic. I didn't have an appointment but they got me in right away. Both the vet tech and vet were very good with my dog. Got him diagnosed, got him meds and on the way. Thanks to all the wonderful staff.
